"Month of Horror" Special with Nattosheru (2026) | Nattosheru Review [ENG/SPA]

Hello, horror fans. These past few weeks have been packed with reviews of cinematic gems and genre classics—as is now customary on this blog every October around Halloween and all that. But more than just being part of a tradition, this is something I really love doing: watching and talking about horror movies that have left such a mark on both my childhood and my teenage years. The same goes for anime, which I’ve also included this year, just as I did in 2024.

This year, I decided to kick off this special section earlier than expected—which would normally be in early October. I did this with the idea of, first, being able to cover more horror movies, and second, participating in a contest there that I ended up putting aside. That’s why you’ll see that in this edition, I’ve reviewed more movies and even a few horror anime from mid-September through early November. What can I say? I love the horror genre—and I love talking about it on my blog even more.

I took advantage of this edition to finish watching and discussing the movies that shaped part of my childhood and pre-teen years in the late ’90s and early 2000s. It’s actually a much longer list that I’ve been working through since the very first edition of Month of Horror in 2024. I discussed some classics of the genre, such as The Sixth Sense and Paranormal Activity, as well as a few other movies I watched to relive a part of my childhood that I thought I’d completely forgotten. I hope that both this collection and the previous ones I’ve put together for this special series are helpful to some of you.

Hola, fanáticos del terror. Estas últimas semanas estuvieron repletas de reseñas de joyas del cine y del género, como es costumbre ya en este blog cada mes de octubre por las fechas de Halloween y todo eso. Pero más que ser solamente parte de una tradición, esto es algo que me fascina mucho hacer: ver y hablar de películas de terror que han marcado tanto mi infancia como mi adolescencia. Lo mismo sucede con los animes, los cuales en este año los he incorporado también tal y como he hecho en 2024.

Este año decidí iniciar esta sección especial antes del tiempo esperado que sería a principios del mes de octubre. Esto lo hice con la idea de poder primero, abarcar la posibilidad de hablar de más películas de terror y segundo, poder participar en un concurso ahí que al final terminé dejando de lado. Es por eso que pueden ver cómo en esta edición he reseñado más películas y hasta unos cuantos animes de terror entre mediados de septiembre hasta inicios de este mes de noviembre. ¿Qué les puedo decir? Me gusta el género del terror y más hablar de ello en mi blog.

Aproveché esta edición para terminar de ver y hablar de las películas que han marcado parte de mi infancia y preadolescencia a finales de los años 90 y principios de los años 2000. En realidad es una lista mucho más grande que he estado siguiendo desde la primera edición del Mes del Terror del 2024. Hablé de algunos clásicos del género como pueden ser El Sexto Sentido y Actividad Paranormal, además de una que otra película que vi para revivir una parte de mi infancia que había creído olvidar por completo. Espero que tanto esta como las anteriores colecciones que he hecho de este especial les sirva a alguno.
