Una salida de desconexión en 1 día en el que normalmente debería de estar descansando o durmiendo es una aventura totalmente diferente puesto decidimos salir como familia a la Veredad del Lago, pero primera vez tuve la oportunidad de pasar hacia la segunda etapa de la Veredad del Lago, mejor como conocida como la Vereda del Lago 2 y particularmente ofrece unas vistas panorámicas impresionantes con la belleza única del Lago de Maracaibo, desde este punto el agua se ve sumamente cristalina a pesar de que no es así imaginé como si lo fuera.
A one-day getaway on a day when I’d normally be resting or sleeping is a completely different kind of adventure, as we decided to head out as a family to Veredad del Lago, but for the first time I had the chance to head on to the second stage of the Veredad del Lago, better known as the Vereda del Lago 2, which offers particularly stunning panoramic views of the unique beauty of Lake Maracaibo. From this vantage point, the water looks incredibly crystal-clear; even though it isn’t, I imagined it to be just that.
El cielo formó un espectáculo se veía bastante despejado las nubes marcadas un celeste único y sin igual el sol se encontraba bastante fuerte, aunque por momentos se nublaba de repente, pero a pesar de esto no dejé de caminar a lo largo de esta segunda etapa explorando conociendo viendo así como también aprovechando la belleza de este espacio, un lugar bastante natural que también conserva varios mangles que sirven como un pulmón natural para las especies vivas.
The sky put on quite a show; it looked fairly clear, with the clouds casting a unique and unrivalled sky-blue hue. The sun was quite strong, although at times it would suddenly become overcast, but despite this, I didn’t stop walking along this second stage, exploring, discovering and observing, whilst also taking in the beauty of this area – a very natural place that also preserves several mangrove forests, which act as a natural lung for living species.
Es bastante extenso pero muy desolado al estar tan despejado y retirado algunas personas tienden a darle miedo pero eso es lo ideal y propicio para poder desconectar muchas de las personas, encontraban algunas sentadas viendo el Lago en los mangles, así como también otras se encontraban haciendo actividades físicas yo generalmente lo que hacía era estar en silencio y poder escuchar el canto de los pájaros, el sonido del Lago entre otros más.
It’s quite vast but very desolate, as it’s so open and remote; some people find it a bit daunting, but that’s actually ideal and perfect for switching off. Many people were sitting watching the lake amongst the mangroves, whilst others were doing physical activities. I usually just sat in silence, listening to the birdsong and the sound of the lake, amongst other things.
También me percaté que hay una playa pero esta no está acta para bañarse ya que como todos sabemos el Lago desde hace muchos años atrás se encuentra contaminado, esta playa tiene mucha profundidad por lo que no es recomendable bañarse ahí puesto que se encuentra bastante cerca el canal de navegación, es por eso que es muy profundo solamente esta playa es para poder tomar fotografías, me gustó mucho ver distintos especies de aves en esta área incluso algunas que nunca había visto.
I also noticed that there is a beach, but it isn’t suitable for swimming as, as we all know, the lake has been polluted for many years. This beach is very deep, so swimming there isn’t recommended as it’s quite close to the shipping channel; that’s why it’s so deep. This beach is really only for taking photographs. I really enjoyed seeing different species of birds in this area, including some I’d never seen before.
Por último fue un gran recorrido mi papá aprovechó también para caminar bastante, él quería que le tomara varias fotografías con el lago de fondo y aproveché para hacerlo me encantó mucho recorrer esta etapa, espero poder visitar este lugar de nuevo hasta pronto mis queridos amigos, me despido espero que les haya gustado mucho esta publicación y también puedan ir a visitar la Vereda del lago 2, me despido con un fuerte abrazo.
All in all, it was a brilliant walk. My dad also made the most of it to do plenty of walking; he wanted me to take several photos of him with the lake in the background, so I took the opportunity to do just that. I absolutely loved this part of the walk. I hope to visit this place again soon. See you soon, my dear friends.
