Greetings, my dear travellers – it’s a pleasure for me to show you a new place.
Santa rosa de agua es un lugar lleno de muchos palafitos que se encuentra rodeado de abundantes agua en donde viven la mayoría de las personas Añú que esta palabra quiere decir agua, existe un hermoso mirador que puedes encontrar en este lugar en donde en algunos momentos del día salen lanchas, para darte el recorrido por todo lo largo del agua y así poder disfrutar de este hermoso lugar que posee una gran historia llena de mucha cultura, tradición entre otros.
Santa Rosa de Agua is a place full of stilt houses, surrounded by abundant water, where most of the people of the Añú tribe live – a word which means ‘water’. There is a beautiful viewpoint here, from where, at certain times of the day, boats set out to take you on a tour along the entire length of the water, allowing you to enjoy this beautiful place, which boasts a rich history steeped in culture, tradition and much more.
Ahora bien desde este me he dado se aprecia el agua muy transparente, la vez anterior cuando vine esta área estaba llena de bastante basura pero para mi sorpresa era un área bastante limpia, bastante despejada que reflejaba los otros palafitos existentes en esta localidad de Santa Rosa de Agua y me parece que este es un grandioso espacio para tomar lindas fotografías con el lago de fondo así como también permite o facilita el traslado de las lanchas, ya que las mismas pueden estacionarse desde este punto estaba bastante feliz de poder observar cada una de las partes de este lugar hermoso.
Now, from here, you can see that the water is very clear. The last time I came, this area was full of rubbish, but to my surprise it was actually quite clean, and quite unobstructed, reflecting the other stilt houses in the village of Santa Rosa de Agua. I think this is a brilliant spot for taking lovely photographs with the lake in the background, and it also makes it easier to move the boats around, as they can be moored right here. I was really happy to be able to take in every aspect of this beautiful place.
Este es mirador se encuentra elaborado en madera basta bastante resistente construido por los artesanos locales, que algunos se dedican a construir estas edificaciones con todo el conocimiento empírico de la tradición que ellos pueden tener todo lo de Santa Rosa de Agua es totalmente elaborado a mano, por los mismos lugareños del lugar quienes llevan a cabo distintas funciones, ya sea la pesca ya sean las artesanías así como la edificación de los palafitos en algunos casos también tejen las hojas de las palmas para hacer maravillas.
This viewing platform is made of fairly sturdy rough-hewn timber and was built by local craftsmen, some of whom specialise in constructing these structures using all the traditional know-how they have acquired. Everything in Santa Rosa de Agua is entirely handmade, by the locals themselves, who carry out various activities, such as fishing, making handicrafts and building stilt houses; in some cases, they also weave palm leaves to create marvellous items.
El mirador posee un pequeño pasillo de camineria, qué este bajo va a conducir hacia la parte más extensa dentro del agua, permitiendo así una mejor vista de toda Santa Rosa de Agua así como alguno de los paradores turísticos que ofrecen distintos platos de comida a sus comensales y ambiente, totalmente distintos recreacionales desde este punto podemos tener una mayor vista así como también se encuentra en el centro la bandera de Venezuela, que nos indica cuando esta está totalmente detenida la falta de viento, el abundante calor y cuando esta comienza a moverse de manera muy fuerte quiere decir que el viento es bastante predominante.
The viewing point has a small walkway, the lower section of which leads out into the water, thus offering a better view of the whole of Santa Rosa de Agua as well as some of the tourist spots that offer their guests a variety of dishes and a unique atmosphere, offering a completely different recreational experience. From this vantage point, we can enjoy a wider view, and in the centre stands the Venezuelan flag, which indicates when it is completely still – signalling a lack of wind and intense heat – and when it begins to flutter vigorously, signalling that the wind is blowing quite strongly.
Por último también puedes observar la distinta cantidad de especies aves que existe el lugar, así como a lo lejos también puede ver los distintos mangles muy a lo lejos sin duda alguna Santa Rosa de Agua es un lugar fascinante y disfrutar de este mirador es una aventura que todos los marabinos debemos vivir, ya que es un lugar lleno de tantos ancestros tradiciones culturas así como también la más deliciosa gastronomía del lugar a distinta variedades de precios, gracias por leer nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad.
Finally, you can also observe the wide variety of bird species found in the area, and in the distance you can see the mangroves. Without a doubt, Santa Rosa de Agua is a fascinating place, and enjoying this viewpoint is an adventure that all of us from Marabí should experience, as it is a place steeped in the traditions and cultures of our ancestors, as well as offering the most delicious local cuisine at a range of prices, Thank you for reading; see you next time.
