Good afternoon, IndiaUnited community, I hope you are having a beautiful week.
A new week and a new dynamic in which I participate. They keep surprising us with more thought-provoking questions. If you wish to participate, here's the link for more info.
Let's begin.
If You Could Meet Your Younger Self, What Would You Say?
What a question, I started thinking about so many things that have happened to me, both good and bad, and maybe it's not entirely necessary to tell him all of that.
Yes, I would give him advice and encouragement to keep pursuing his dreams. I don't know if I would tell them all my mistakes, because I believe that if I hadn't lived those experiences, I wouldn't have learned anything and, therefore, I wouldn't have those lessons to apply in my life.
I also don't think I should tell him about the most difficult mistakes, at least those that, over time, have helped me become a better person. Maybe I would tell him to try to be kinder and show his affection to the family members who are no longer with us.
While as a child I enjoyed many things with them, I think it wouldn't hurt to express it explicitly, as they say, if you don't say or express it, the other person will never find out.
I would also tell her to start working, whatever it is, helping in a supermarket, selling something, because that will help her develop great skills that she will need in the future. And to keep attending all those classes he had because they will be very useful to him.
Additionally, I would encourage her from a very early age to step out of her comfort zone, to get excited about doing things like public speaking, but to start little by little. I would tell her to take risks and encourage her a lot to do it, because sometimes it's easy to say it, but I would give her examples or say something convincing so she wouldn't hesitate to do it.
Since I already know myself, hehe, I might even tell her that I'm her future self, although she might get a little scared, but then I think she would understand a bit more and take into account the advice I have to give her.
Above all, I think I would tell her many beautiful things: that she is a great person and that she will achieve great things, but that she must have a life plan and strive to fulfilll it, doing her part to make it easier to reach her goals.
I think the last thing I would tell her is that I love her very much and that she should never give up. If she needs to rest or take a break, she should do it, but then come back with even more determination.
