I had my doubts about this series, because its genre seemed very worn out to me, but I've had a few surprises.

Con Station Eleven me pasó lo contrario, su trailer me provocó mucho hype, pero les recomiendo no dejarse llevar. Station Eleven acaba de finalizar su primera temporada con 10 capítulos llenos de mucha intriga, y cargados de mucha información que va siendo entregada en pequeñas dosis en cortas escenas o en capítulos enteros, abarcando un periodo de veinte años, siendo el tipo de series dónde debes tejer una complicada trama que se entrega en más de una línea temporal.
What it is about
The series is based on the best-selling book of the same name, whose author is Emily St. John Mandel. The series begins with the moments leading up to an apocalypse, where the existence of humanity is threatened by a pandemic caused by a highly deadly virus. Time goes by and we are shown through the lives of the survivors, who do everything to get by, not only to eat or cover their needs, but also to entertain themselves.
La serie inicia con los momentos predios a un apocalipsis, donde la existencia de la humanidad se ve amenazada producto de una pandemia causada por un virus altamente mortal. A partir del capitulo 4 la cosa cambia y llega algo de acción e intriga con algo de suspenso que por momentos te colocan al borde de la silla, para luego volver a relajarte con los retrocesos al pasado. Definitivamente es una serie que se tiene que ver con mente amplia, no esperando actuaciones destacadas de actores mega reconocidos. Es una serie que puede generar una primera mala impresión, al tratarse también de una pandemia, tema del que ya estamos agotados, pero que también puede brindar ideas y sensaciones de esperanza para alcanzar el final de la realidad que vivimos.
