Crees que ibas a ver una de esas historias alentadores y motivacionales donde los supervivientes, grandes deportistas alcanzan vidas soñadas, después de pasar por el crisol de las aflicciones, pero para nada, esto es drama puro con crueldad, suspenso y algo de terror, mezclado con pinceladas de la época de los 90 que hará que mas de uno sienta nostalgia por su adolescencia.
Do I recommend the series?
Of course I do, a resounding yes What if I liked the ending? It is an absolute no, although I also did not like very much the fact of alternating the times of the life of the characters, mainly when they changed to their adult stage, it started very slow and boring and it was not until the end that became interesting to arouse the desire to want to see more of that part of the story, but as for the story of what happened to the girls after the accident, and how they reached the rawness that we are shown in the beginning, you always want to see more and more, and keeps you in expectation.
¿Si recomiendo la serie? Por supuesto que sí, un rotundo si ¿Qué si me gusto el final? Es un absoluto no, aunque también no me gustó mucho el hecho de alternar los tiempos de la vida de los personajes, principalmente cuando cambiaban a su etapa adulta, empezó muy lenta y aburrida y no fue hasta el final que se puso interesante para despertar el deseo de querer ver más de esa parte de la historia, pero en cuanto a la historia de lo que paso a las jóvenes luego del accidente, y como llegaron a la crudeza que se nos muestra en un principio, siempre quieres ver más y más, y te mantiene a la expectativa.

But I can say that the material of this series, from my humble point of view, would have been perfect for a mini series like Mare of Easttown and give it a good closure. Maybe it was not done because of the cast involved, the performances were great, it is truly impressive to see how the character developed by different actresses, in adolescence and as adults, is maintained.
Es por esta razón que el final no me gusto, pero no debo decir mas para que ustedes saquen sus propias conclusiones, saben que no me gusta dar spoilers. Pero si puedo decir que el material de esta serie, desde mi humilde óptica, hubiese quedado perfecto para una mini serie al estilo de Mare of Easttown y darle un buen cierre. Quizás no se hizo debido al elenco involucrado, las actuaciones fueron geniales, es verdaderamente impresionante ver como se mantiene el personaje desarrollado por diferentes actrices, en la adolescencia y siendo adultas.

El personaje que más me impresiono es el de Taissa interpretado por Tawny Cypress como adulta y por Jasmin Savoy Brown como adolescente, es increíble como ambas mujeres mantienen el personaje, como se desenvuelven como líder siendo joven aprendiendo a desarrollar esa característica y ya como adulta aplicando lo que aprendió, algo muy similar con el personaje de Shauna interpretado como adulta por Melanie Lynskey y como adolescente por Sophie Nélisse, como descubre lo inteligente que puede ser y como aplicarlo para su provecho, y ni hablar del personaje de Misty interpretada como adulta por la bella e inigualable Christina Ricci y como adolescente por Samantha Hanratty, la perfecta sociópata rayando en sicopata.
