Cover made in ¡Hola amigos! Hace un tiempo leí por acá la reseña de un k-drama que llamó mi atención. Así que lo agregué a mi lista para ver y hoy les traigo mi reseña de esta serie surcoreana de 16 capítulos llamada El amor es como el chachachá.
Hello friends! A while ago I read here a review of a k-drama that caught my attention. So I added it to my list to watch and today I bring you my review of this 16-episode South Korean series called Hometown Cha Cha Cha.
Trama - Plot
La historia gira en torno a un pueblo costero llamado Gongjin. Allí sus habitantes son muy unidos, se cuidan los unos a los otros y viven para los chismes como todo pueblo.
The story revolves around a coastal village called Gongjin. There its inhabitants are very close-knit, look out for each other and live for gossip like any other village.
Nuestra protagonista femenina es Yoon Hye-jin, una dentista que vivía y trabajaba en Seúl. Pero, tras un percance en su lugar de trabajo luego de cobrarle más barato el arreglo dental a una señora que no podía pagarlo, su jefa decide despedirla y también la acusa ante todo el comité de profesionales dentales haciendo que le sea imposible volver a conseguir trabajo.
Our female protagonist is Yoon Hye-jin, a dentist living and working in Seoul. But, after a mishap at her workplace after charging cheaper dental work to a lady who could not afford it, her boss decides to fire her and also accuses her in front of the whole committee of dental professionals making it impossible for her to get a job again.
Sin rumbo fijo, Hye-jin viaja hacía Gongjin que es un lugar que le trae recuerdos de sus últimos momentos con su madre y allí se encuentra con la oportunidad de abrir su propia clínica dental, ya que en el pueblo no hay ninguna.
Hye-jin travels aimlessly to Gongjin, a place that brings back memories of her last moments with her mother, and there she finds the opportunity to open her own dental clinic, as there is none in the village.
En su recorrido por el lugar se va a encontrar con un hombre muy entrometido que siempre parece estar en su camino. Es nuestro protagonista masculino, Hong Du-sik, más conocido como el Jefe Hong, ya que es el que se ocupa de casi todo en el pueblo al tener muchos trabajos temporales. La gente lo aprecia porque es muy solidario y siempre está pendiente de lo que necesitan los habitantes.
On his tour around the place he is going to meet a very nosy man who always seems to be in his way. He is our male protagonist, Hong Du-sik, better known as Chief Hong, as he is the one who takes care of almost everything in the village as he has many temporary jobs. People appreciate him because he is very supportive and is always looking out for what the villagers need.
Entre ellos va a crecer una enemistad muy graciosa que poco a poco se transformara en algo más.
A very funny enmity will grow between them that will gradually turn into something more.
Reseña - Review
Siempre pienso que ver k-dramas es una trampa porque si bien el género de comedia romántica puede darte muchas risas, de hecho, me reí muchísimo con esta serie, también llega un momento crítico en la trama donde si sos un poco sensible terminas lagrimeando bastante.
I always think that watching k-dramas is a trap because while the romantic comedy genre can give you a lot of laughs, in fact, I laughed a lot with this series, there also comes a critical moment in the plot where if you are a little sensitive you end up tearing up quite a bit.
La serie me había llamado la atención por su fotografía, al ver las imágenes en aquella reseña me hizo casi enamorarme del paisaje que se veía, y eso que no soy muy fan de las zonas costeras, prefiero más lo verde de las montañas o las praderas. Aunque aquí también hay bastante verde.
The series had caught my attention because of its photography, seeing the images in that review made me almost fall in love with the landscape that could be seen, and I'm not a big fan of coastal areas, I prefer the green of the mountains or meadows. Although there is plenty of green here too.
La historia es muy buena, a cada uno de estos personajes lo envuelve un pasado triste o misterios que resolver. Sin embargo, nada se compara al de Du-sik. Ni sé imaginan lo que sufrí con este sujeto, hasta pensé en mandarle una carta documento al que se le haya ocurrido un guion como este.
The story is very good, each of these characters has a sad past or mysteries to solve. However, nothing compares to Du-sik. I can't even imagine what I suffered with this guy, I even thought of sending a letter to whoever came up with a script like this.
Su relación con Hye-jin fue muy linda, me encanta este trope de caerse mal para luego darse cuenta que se quieren. También me pareció mágico lo implícito del hilo rojo, ya que al final de los capítulos suelen mostrar diferentes momentos donde ellos dos tuvieron alguna interacción a lo largo de sus vidas que los trajo al momento presente, como si hubieran estado predestinados. Todo lo que un alma romántica necesita ver en una serie de estás características.
Her relationship with Hye-jin was really cute, I love this trope of disliking each other and then realizing that they love each other. I also found the implication of the red thread magical, since at the end of the episodes they usually show different moments where the two of them had some interaction throughout their lives that brought them to the present moment, as if they were fated. Everything a romantic soul needs to see in a series like this.
Me gustaría destacar el crecimiento que tuvo Hye-jin, ya que ella es una mujer de ciudad sofisticada que le gusta los lujos y era bastante reticente a convivir con la gente del pueblo. Sin embargo, aprendió a quererlos y a integrarse con ellos. Al final era una más.
I would like to highlight the growth that Hye-jin had, as she is a sophisticated city woman who likes luxuries and was quite reluctant to live with the townspeople. However, she learned to love them and integrate with them. In the end she was just one of them.
Me gusta como funciona la vida en comunidad. Todos se preocupan por todos y tratan de ayudar. Aunque sí hay gente que se pasa de chismosa y entrometida, pero bueno, eso hace la convivencia más entretenida. También me pareció interesante conocer la historia detrás de alguno de estos personajes.
I like the way community life works. Everyone cares about each other and tries to help. Although there are some people who are gossipy and nosy, but well, that makes living together more entertaining. I also found it interesting to know the story behind some of these characters.
Fue una serie hermosa de ver, la verdad que me encantó. Cuando la terminé sentí un vacío, me encariñé con los personajes y la historia. Es raro que vea una serie de tirón, así que pasé varias semanas con ellos por eso se me hace extraño ya no tener capítulos que ver. Pero la amé completamente y se las recomiendo. Es una historia divertida, emotiva, con valores y crecimiento de personajes.
It was a beautiful series to watch, I really loved it. When I finished it I felt an emptiness, I got attached to the characters and the story. It's rare that I watch a series in one sitting, so I spent several weeks with them that's why it's strange that I don't have chapters to watch anymore. But I absolutely loved it and recommend it to you. It's a fun, emotional story with values and character growth.
El soundtrack fue otra cosa que me enamoro, estuvo excelente. Ya saben lo mucho que me gusta este detalle, y si bien suelo disfrutar de la banda sonora de toda producción que vea, no suele suceder a menudo que las agregue a mis playlists para seguir escuchándolas como sí hice con esta. Así que muy bien servicio.
The soundtrack was another thing I fell in love with, it was excellent. You know how much I like this detail, and although I usually enjoy the soundtrack of every production I see, it doesn't happen often that I add them to my playlists to keep listening to them as I did with this one. So, very good service.
