¡Hola amigos! En el día de hoy les traigo mi opinión sobre la serie coreana que estuve viendo desde hace unos días y ya la terminé: Woo, Una abogada extraordinaria.

Leí muy buenos comentarios acá en Hive sobre está serie y otro tanto en Twitter. Así que eso me hizo decidir a verla. Fue una muy buena decisión porque es una serie que vale la pena ver y ahora les voy a contar las razones.
I read very good comments here on Hive about this series and the same on Twitter. So that made me decide to watch it. It was a very good decision because it's a series worth watching and now I'm going to tell you the reasons why.
Woo Young-woo (tanto si se lee seguido o al revés), es el personaje principal de la serie y la que le da el nombre. Ella es una joven abogada que se encuentra dentro del espectro autista, esto la hace un tanto peculiar. También tiene una gran inteligencia y posee memoria fotográfica. A lo largo de la serie la vamos a ver hacer su propio camino, atravesar obstáculos y ganarse el corazón de las personas.
Woo Young-woo (whether you read it straight or backwards), is the main character of the series and the one who gives it its name. She is a young lawyer who is on the autistic spectrum, which makes her somewhat peculiar. She is also highly intelligent and has a photographic memory. Throughout the series we will see her make her own way, go through obstacles and win people's hearts.
Como Woo Young-woo está dentro de este espectro muchas veces es incomprendida por sus colegas, al menos hasta que la conozcan. Aunque también cosecha envidias porque es muy inteligente y logra resolver los casos más complicados con datos que se les escaparon a los demás. Ella va siempre en busca de la verdad. Al graduarse de la universidad de Seúl con honores fue contratada por uno de los bufetes de abogados de una de las dos firmas más poderosas del país: Hanbada. Claro que en principio está contratación quedó a destiempo y tiene un porqué que me molestó mucho. Nadie quería contratar a la abogada Woo por su autismo. Sin embargo, este personaje nos demostrará de todo lo que es capaz. Es una serie que tiene mucho para enseñarnos, sobre todo a tener más empatía.
As Woo Young-woo is on this spectrum, she is often misunderstood by her colleagues, at least until they get to know her. But she is also envied because she is very intelligent and manages to solve the most complicated cases with data that escaped the others. She is always in search of the truth. After graduating from Seoul University with honors, she was hired by one of the two most powerful law firms in the country: Hanbada. Of course, in principle this hiring was untimely and has a reason that bothered me a lot. No one wanted to hire lawyer Woo because of her autism. However, this character will show us what she is capable of. It is a series that has a lot to teach us, especially to have more empathy.
A la par que la abogada Woo va demostrando de todo lo que es capaz vemos cómo se relaciona con su entorno, cosa que no es nada fácil para ella. La relación que lleva con su padre (es el único que la crio porque su madre no quiso hacerlo) es muy hermosa, ese hombre se desvivía por su hija, es conmovedor ver todo lo que hizo y hace por ella. La relación con sus amigos, en especial con su amiga Dong Geurami que la conoce desde la escuela y solía defenderla de los que la trataban mal. La relación con sus compañeros de trabajo, hay una chica, Choi Su-yeon, que fue a la universidad con ella y también solía cuidarla; después está Kwon Min-woo que no suele caer muy bien, aunque al final va a tener buenos capítulos; el abogado encargado del equipo, Jung Myung-seok, que pese a su negativa inicial de tener a la abogada Woo en su equipo logra quererla y ser un buen mentor para ella; y mención honorifica a Lee Jun-ho, el interés amoroso. Porque sí, también va a haber romance y del bueno. De ese que es tan puro y lindo que te hace desear tener algo así, alguien que te quiera incondicionalmente, no importa cómo seas o lo difícil que sean las cosas.
At the same time that the lawyer Woo is demonstrating everything she is capable of, we see how she relates to her environment, which is not easy for her. The relationship she has with her father (he is the only one who raised her because her mother did not want to do it) is very beautiful, that man went out of his way for his daughter, it is touching to see everything he did and does for her. The relationship with her friends, especially with her friend Dong Geurami who has known her since school and used to defend her from those who treated her badly. The relationship with her co-workers, there's a girl, Choi Su-yeon, who went to college with her and also used to take care of her; then there's Kwon Min-woo who doesn't usually like her very much, although he's going to have good chapters in the end; the lawyer in charge of the team, Jung Myung-seok, who despite his initial refusal to have lawyer Woo in his team manages to love her and be a good mentor for her; and honorable mention to Lee Jun-ho, the love interest. Because yes, there's going to be romance too, and the good kind. The kind that is so pure and cute that it makes you wish you had something like that, someone who loves you unconditionally, no matter how you are or how hard things are.
La serie también tiene partes muy conmovedoras que seguro les produzcan algunas lágrimas, lagrimeé en varias partes, a veces por bronca de la situación. Pero también tiene escenas muy divertidas y graciosas. Es sabido de la fijación que pueden tener las personas con autismo con determinados elementos o cosas. En el caso de la abogada Woo son las ballenas, a ella le gustan mucho y sabe todo sobre ellas. De hecho yo también aprendí mucho sobre ballenas gracias a ella. Hay momentos muy graciosos con ellas y los datos random que va tirando.
The series also has very touching parts that will surely bring some tears to your eyes, I cried in several parts, sometimes out of anger at the situation. But it also has some very funny and amusing scenes. It is well known the fixation that people with autism may have with certain elements or things. In the case of lawyer Woo it is whales, she likes them very much and knows everything about them. In fact, I also learned a lot about whales thanks to her. There are very funny moments with them and the random facts she throws out.
Me gusta que vemos crecer a todos los personajes a medida que pasan los capítulos, algunos son más estructurados o competitivos que otros y pueden llegar a ponerle obstáculos en el camino a Woo Young-woo, pero en algún punto van a ir teniendo cambios y van a empezar a entenderla para saber cómo comunicarse con ella.
I like that we see all the characters grow as the chapters go on, some are more structured or competitive than others and may come to put obstacles in Woo Young-woo's way, but at some point they will have changes and start to understand her so they know how to communicate with her.
En definitiva, es una serie ideal para aprender sobre la empatía, que está bien y es normal que no todos seamos iguales. No importa qué nos condicione eso no nos define como personas o como profesionales, que las personas con cualquier tipo de discapacidad pueden amar y merecen ser amadas. Es de esas joyitas que te encuentras que hacen bien al alma como me gusta decir con este tipo de producciones que se quedan conmigo incluso mucho después de haberlas visto. Tuvo un final acorde aunque me quedó corta la serie, me gustó mucho que cada capítulo se basa en un caso diferente, algunos pueden durar hasta 2 capítulos, pero no más que eso. Me encantaría una segunda temporada porque siento que aún quedan cosas por resolver y estaría bueno ver cómo continúa todo en la vida de la abogada Woo y compañía.
In short, it is an ideal series to learn about empathy, that it is okay and normal that we are not all the same. No matter what conditions us that does not define us as people or as professionals, that people with any type of disability can love and deserve to be loved. It is one of those little gems that you find that do good to the soul as I like to say with these types of productions that stay with me even long after I have seen them. It had a fitting ending although I found the series short, I really liked that each chapter is based on a different case, some can last up to 2 chapters, but no more than that. I would love a second season because I feel that there are still things to be solved and it would be nice to see how everything continues in the life of lawyer Woo and company.
