I hope you are very well, today I would like to talk to you about High School Musical 2, which is the sequel to my favorite movie from when I was a teenager and I still like it a lot. Premiered in 2007 through Disney Channel, directed by Kenny Ortega and starring Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman. It is the highest-rated Disney Channel Original Movie with a total of 17,300,000 viewers, and also the soundtrack of the movie had great success debuting at number one on the Billboard 200.

Espero se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy me gustaría hablarles de High School Musical 2, la cual es la secuela de mi pelicula favorita de cuando era adolescente y todavía me gusta mucho. Estrenada en el 2007 a través de Disney Channel, dirigida por Kenny Ortega y protagonizada por Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu y Monique Coleman. Es la película original de Disney Channel con mas audiencia con un total de 17.300.000 espectadores, y también el soundtrack de la película tuvo gran éxito debutando en el primer puesto en el Billboard 200.
Summary / Resumen
The countdown to summer vacation begins in Mrs. Darbus's class and everyone is very excited, during the summer Troy, Gabriella and the rest of the wildcats get a job at a club called "Lava Springs". Initially it was Sharpay's plan to only hire Troy Bolton to get him away from Gabriella, but his plans are foiled as the manager hired the other classmates as well.
Empieza la cuenta regresiva para las vacaciones de verano en la clase de la Sra Darbus y todos están muy emocionados, durante el verano Troy, Gabriella y el resto de los wildcats consiguen un trabajo en un club llamado "Lava Springs". Inicialmente era un plan de Sharpay el contratar sólo a Troy Bolton para alejarlo de Gabriella, pero sus planes se frustran ya que el encargado contrató también a los demás compañeros de clases.
In order to get Troy away from Gabriella and her friends, Sharpay introduces him to very influential people from the best universities and also invites him to participate in the talent festival with her, something that her brother Ryan does not like very much. colesta and decides to join his companions to put on a show.

When Sharpay realizes that Kelsi wrote a new song for Troy and Gabriella takes it to rehearse with Troy. His friends realize that he has changed during his time with Sharpay becoming more like her and abandoning them which causes Chad and him to argue, also Ryan and Sharpay argue when he tells her that he will no longer obey her orders. Taylor and Gabriella invite Ryan to a baseball game.
Cuando Sharpay se da cuenta de que Kelsi les compuso una nueva canción a Troy y Gabriella la toma para ensayarla con Troy. Sus amigos se dan cuenta de que él ha cambiado durante el tiempo que pasa con Sharpay volviéndose mas como ella y abandonándolos lo cual provoca que Chad y el discutan, también Ryan y Sharpay discuten cuando el le dice que ya no obedecerá sus órdenes. Taylor y Gabriella invitan a Ryan a un partido de beisból.
When Sharpay finds out that Ryan and the wildcats are putting on their own performance, she is furious and has the supervisor block the club's employees from participating, prompting her and Gabriella to argue. Then Gabriella talks to Troy and tells him that thanks to her attitude he has lost her trust in him and before leaving the club she returns the necklace that she gave him.
Cuando Sharpay se entera que Ryan y los wildcats están organizando su propia actuación enfuerece y hace que el supervisor no deje participar a los empleados del club, por lo que Gabriella y ella discuten. Luego Gabriella habla con Troy y le dice que gracias a su actitus ha perdido su confianza en él y antes de dejar el club le devuelve el collar que le regaló.
Troy decides to go back to work but his friends decide not to talk to him. Kelsi shows Troy a notice that they won't be able to perform, which makes him upset and confronts Sharpay saying he won't sing with her, then reconciles with Chad and the rest of her friends. They convince him to perform at the talent show, but on the condition that the others also perform. Following Sharpay's supposed instructions Troy rehearses a new song with Kelsi that Sharpay has no idea about, when Troy goes on stage he ends up singing with Gabriella and the wildcats. At the end Sharpay proudly gives him the award to Ryan.
Troy decide regresar a su trabajo pero sus amigos deciden no hablarle. Kelsi le muestra a Troy un aviso dónde dice que ellos no podrán hacer su presentación, lo cual hace que se moleste y enfrente a Sharpay diciendo que no cantará con ella, luego se reconcilia con Chad y el resto de sus amigos. Lo convencen de actuar en el festival de talentos, pero con la condición de que también actúen los demás. Siguiendo las supuestas instrucciones de Sharpay Troy ensaya con Kelsi una nueva canción de la cual Sharpay no tiene idea, cuando Troy sube al escenario termina cantando con Gabriella y los wildcats. Al final Sharpay le entrega el premio a Ryan con orgullo.
After the talent show everyone gathers at the golf course to enjoy fireworks where Troy and Gabriella end up kissing. And in the final scenes everyone in Lava Spring celebrates the end of summer by having a pool party.
Luego del festival de talentos todos se reúnen en el campo de golf para disfrutar de fuegos artificiales donde Troy y Gabriella terminan dándose un beso. Y en las escenas finales todos celebran en Lava Spring el final deñ verano haciendo una fiesta en la piscina.
Mi Opinión / My Opinion
Wow, what can I say about this movie? High School Musical is one of my favorite Disney Channel movie trilogies and I would say this one was really good, not only do I really like this movie I also really like the soundtrack (even more than the first movie), and as well as the first movie this became one of my favorite Disney Channel movies.
Wow, ¿que puedo decir de esta pelicula? High School Musical es una de mis trilogías favoritas de peliculas de Disney Channel y diría que esta fué realmente buena, no sólo me gusta mucho esta pelicula también me gusta mucho el soundtrack (incluso más que el de la primera película), y así como la primera pelicula esta se convirtió en una de mis peliculas favoritas de Disney Channel.
The soundtrack was really excellent, songs like "What Time Is It", "Fabulous", "Gotta Go My Own Way" and "You Are The Music In Me" are my favorites, in fact I loved it so much that I bought a standard version and another deluxe from the album, as well as a limited single from What Time Is It, in my opinion the presentations of the songs during the film are also very good, my favorite being "Fabulous" in the pool, after seeing it the first time I would say that It totally exceeded my expectations and I still have it in DVD format. I also really liked that Miley Cyrus made a cameo at the pool party as she was also a part of my adolescence through her music and her Hannah Montana series so I loved seeing her there.
El soundtrack fué realmente excelente, canciones como "What Time Is It", "Fabulous", "Gotta Go My Own Way" y "You Are The Music In Me" son mis favoritas, de hecho lo amé tanto que compré una versión estándar y otra deluxe del disco, así como un single limitado de What Time Is It, a mi parecer las presentaciones de las canciones durante la película también son muy buenas, siendo mi favorita "Fabulous" en la piscina, luego de verla la primera vez diría que superó mis espectivas totalmente y todavía la conservo en formato DVD. También me gustó mucho que Miley Cyrus hiciera un cameo en la fiesta de la piscina, ya que ella también fué parte de mi adolescencia a través de su música y su serie Hannah Montana así que amé verla allí.
