Hello dear internet people! Hope you're OK, today I would like to share my opinion about one of my favorite animated movies, directed by my favorite director the great Tim Burton and starring my favorite actor the amazing Johnny Depp alongside Helena Bonham Carter. Without further ado, let's begin!

Espero que estén bien, hoy me gustaría compartir mi opinión sobre una de mis películas de animación favoritas, dirigida por mi director favorito el gran Tim Burton y protagonizada por mi actor favorito el increible Johnny Depp junto a Helena Bonham Carter. Sin más dilación, ¡comencemos!
Victor Van Dort and Victoria Everglot are going to have a arranged wedding in order to save their families from bankruptcy, Although this wedding is orchestrated by their parents, they both fall in love with each other. The day the bride and groom are practicing their vows, Victor was so nervous that he could not say his vows correctly and decides to go for a walk, in a dark forest he practices and manages to say his vows correctly but when he puts the ring on the finger of a dead woman thinking it was the branch of a tree, she rises from her grave and claims her rights as his wife.
Victor Van Dort y Victoria Everglot van a tener una boda arreglada para salvar a sus familias de la bancarrota, aunque dicha boda es orquestada por sus padres, ambos se enamoran el uno del otro. El día que los novios están practicando sus votos, Victor estaba tan nervioso que no podía decir sus votos correctamente y decide ir a dar un paseo, en un bosque oscuro practica y consigue decir sus votos correctamente pero cuando pone el anillo en el dedo de una mujer muerta pensando que era la rama de un árbol, ella se levanta de su tumba y reclama sus derechos como esposa.
Well, the vows said by Victor for me are really beautiful, a way of telling Victoria that he loves her, that he will always be for her and that she will never lack anything by his side, although the terrible mistake Victor made by mistakenly marrying Emily the corpse bride will lead him to live an adventure in the world of the dead as she takes him there.
Bueno, los votos dichos por Victor para mi son realmente hermosos, una manera de decirle a Victoria que la ama, que siempre estará para ella y que nunca le faltará nada a su lado, aunque el terrible error que cometió Victor al desposar por error a Emily la novia cadáver lo llevará a vivir una aventura en el mundo de los muertos ya que ella se lo lleva para allá.
Inside the world of the dead Victor tries to escape, seeing that he cannot, he tricks Emily by telling her that he would like to introduce her to his parents so that he can return to the world of the living, Emily trusts him and they return to the forest where they met for the first time. Victor deceives Emily again, telling her to wait for him there and that he will come back to look for her after talking to her parents, but when he leaves the forest he immediately looks for Victoria to tell her what happened, but Emily follows him and when she realizes it that Victor lied all the time, she gets angry and drags him back to the world of the dead.
Dentro del mundo de los muertos Victor intenta escapar, al ver que no puede engaña a Emily diciendole que le gustaría presentarle a sus padres para poder volver al mundo de los vivos, Emily confía en el y vuelven al bosque dónde se encontraron por primera vez. Victor vuelve a engañar a Emily diciendo que la espere allí que volverá a buscarla luego de hablar con sus padres pero cuando sale del bosque enseguida busca a Victoria para contarle lo sucedido, pero Emily lo sigue y al darse cuenta que Victor mintió todo el tiempo se enoja y lo arrastra de nuevo al mundo de los muertos.
One scene I really liked is when Emily gives Victor his wedding present, when he opens the box he is reunited with the skeleton of his dog Scraps. Prior to this scene it is discovered that Emily was murdered when she tried to escape with her lover who only wanted her family fortune, I found her story really sad and was surprised when near the end of the movie it is revealed that the lover is Lord Barkis Bittern, Victoria's other evil suitor who seeks to do the same to her.
Una escena que realmente me gustó es cuando Emily le da a Victor su regalo de bodas, cuando el abre la caja se reencuentra con el esqueleto de su perro Scraps. Anterior a esta escena se descubre que Emily fué asesinada cuando intentó escapar con su amante el cual solo quería su fortuna familiar, su historia me pareció realmente muy triste y me sorprendió cuando casi al final de la pelicula se revela que el amante es Lord Barkis Bittern, el malvado otro pretendiente de Victoria el cual busca hacer lo mismo con ella.
When the coachman of Victor's family dies and arrives in the land of the dead, he is reunited with Victor and tells him that because of his disappearance Victoria will marry Lord Barkis. Stunned by the news Victor goes to talk to Elder, but he was with Emily and told him that their marriage is not valid since death has separated them, he also tells him that to validate their marriage they would have to say their vows again in the land of the living and Victor would have to drink a potent poison which would kill him. Emily refuses, assuring that Victor could never do it, but knowing that Victoria would marry Lord Barkis, he decides to accept and marry Emily.
Cuando el cochero de la familia de Victor muere y llega a la tierra de los muertos se reencuentra con Victor y le cuenta que debido a su desaparición Victoria se casará con Lord Barkis. Atónito con la noticia Victor se dirige a hablar con Elder, pero este se encontraba con Emily y le dijo que su matrimonio no es válido ya que la muerte los ha separado, también le dice que para validar su matrimonio tendrían que volver a decir sus votos en la tierra de los vivos y Victor tendría que beber un potente veneno el cual lo mataría. Emily se niega asegurando que Victor jamás podría hacerlo pero el al saber que Victoria se casaría con Lord Barkis decide aceptar y casarse con Emily.
The dead prepare the wedding and go up to the world of the living causing panic at first, but then the dead are reunited with their living relatives forming an atmosphere of calm. The newlywed Lord Barkis proposes to Victoria to run away with his family fortune but when he discovers that they are bankrupt he gets angry. As Victor and Emily recite their vows Emily realizes that Victoria is watching them from a crack, when Victor is about to take the poison she realizes that this is not right as Victor really loves Victoria and decides to sacrifice her happiness and reunite Victor and Victoria, Emily's attitude in that scene really touched me as she says "that they stole her dreams and now she was stealing them from another woman", she declares her love to Victor and tells him that she wants his happiness.
Los muertos preparan la boda y suben al mundo de los vivos provocando pánico al principio, pero luego los muertos se reencuentran con sus familiares vivos formándose un ambiente de calma. El recién casado Lord Barkis le propone a Victoria huir con la fortuna de su familia pero al descubrir que están en bancarrota se enoja. Mientras Victor y Emily recitan sus votos Emily se da cuenta de que Victoria los observa desde una rendija, cuando Victor está a punto de tomar el veneno ella se da cuenta de que eso no está bien ya que Victor realmente ama a Victoria y decide sacrificar su felicidad y reunir a Victor y a Victoria, la actitud de Emily en esa escena me conmovió mucho ya que ella dice "que le robaron sus sueños y ahora ella se los estaba robando a otra mujer", le declara su amor a Victor y le dice que quiere su felicidad.
Lord Barkis appears and Emily immediately recognizes him, revealing that he is her murderer, after an intense fight between him and Victor, Barkis ends up drinking the poison and immediately dies. Emily at the end gives back Victor the wedding ring and tells him that she really wishes him to be happy with Victoria who catch her blue flowers bouquet. Emily finally left the church turning into butterflies and being finally free. This scene almost make me cry because of the words of Emily, There is no truer proof of love than sacrificing oneself for the loved one.
Lord Barkis aparece y Emily inmediatamente lo reconoce, revelando que él es su asesino, luego de una intensa pelea entre él y Victor, Barkis termina bebiendo el veneno y muere de inmediato. Emily al final le devuelve a Víctor el anillo de bodas y le dice que realmente desea que él sea feliz con Victoria, quien le quita el ramo de flores azules. Emily finalmente sale de la iglesia convirtiéndose en mariposas y siendo finalmente libre. Esta escena casi me hace llorar por las palabras de Emily, No hay prueba más verdadera de amor que sacrificarse por la persona amada.
Well, this is a really beautiful movie, released in 2005 animated by stop motion tecnique Despite dealing with themes about death and the world of the living, it leaves a beautiful message and the character that I liked the most was that of Emily, she seemed to me a woman with very beautiful feelings and she managed to love again. The soundtrack is also beautiful I like a lot of songs but my favorites are "Tears to Shed" and "Remains Of The Day".
Bueno esta es una pelicula realmente hermosa, estrenada en el 2005 animada por la tecnica stop motion a pesar de tratar temas sobre la muerte y el mundo de los vivos deja un mensaje hermoso y el personaje que mas me gusto fue el de Emily, ella parecia para mi una mujer con sentimientos muy bonitos y ella logro amar de nuevo. La banda sonora también es hermosa. Me gustan muchas canciones, pero mis favoritas son "Tears to Shed" y "Remains Of The Day".
This movie reminds me of others by Tim like "The Nightmare Before Christmas" "Beetlejuice" and "Frankenweenie" which also deal with the theme of death (although frankenweenie came later) and the director shows the dead in a cheerful way, this is a difficult subject to handle especially in children's films, however Tim Burton did an excellent job.
Esta película me hace recordar otras de Tim como "The Nightmare Before Christmas" "Beetlejuice" y "Frankenweenie" las cuales también tocan el tema de la muerte (aunque frankenweenie salió después) y el director muestra a los muertos de manera alegre, este es un tema difícil de manejar especialmente en películas infantiles, sin embargo Tim Burton hizo un excelente trabajo.
Well, to finish I would love to recommend the movie to all those who have not seen it yet, a beautiful story with a somber touch and quality animation, believe me you will not regret watching it, I hope you like it as much as I do.
Bueno, para terminar me encantaría recomendarles la película a todos aquellos que no la hayan visto todavía, una hermosa historia con un toque sombrío y una animación de calidad, creanme no se arrepentirán de verla, espero que les guste tanto como a mi.
