Greetings dear friends, I hope you are very well and that today you had a wonderful time. It's always great to come and share with you a new review, I really enjoy watching movies and although I don't have as much time to do it as years ago, from time to time it's good to take some time to enjoy one, today I want to talk about a movie that I did enjoy watching.
It is a movie that came out in the middle of last year and the truth is that it got a lot of positive reviews, in my case when I saw the trailer I wanted to see it right away, because the message, the plot and mainly that it was based on real events, caught my attention immediately. And the truth is that I don't regret it, because although many didn't like it, I think this movie calmed that feeling of having seen a lot of bad movies.
It's "I'm in charge of the beer" from the title you would think it's a drunken and humorous movie or full of swear words, which by the way I don't like at all, but no, it's a much deeper movie than that. This great movie was directed by Peter Farrelly, I haven't seen much of him, only Green Book, it had the performance of well known actors and many of them very good like Zac Efron, Russell Crowe, Bill Murray, Kyle Allen and others, who did very well, it is worth mentioning. I've become a big fan of Apple TV movies lately, and this one didn't disappoint, so I still think they're doing great.
Saludos queridos amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien y que el día de hoy la hayan pasado de maravilla. Siempre es genial venir a compartir con ustedes una nueva reseña, me gusta mucho Ver películas y aunque ya no tengo tanto tiempo para hacerlo como años atrás, de vez en cuando es bueno tomarse un tiempo para disfrutar de una, hoy precisamente quiero hablarles de una película que sí que disfruté ver.
Se trata de una película que salió a mediados del año pasado y que la verdad obtuvo bastantes críticas positivas, en mi caso al ver el trailer quise verla de inmediato, pues el mensaje, la trama y principalmente que estaba basada en hechos reales, llamaron mi atención de inmediato. Y la verdad no me arrepiento, porque aunque a muchos no le gustó, yo pienso que esta película calmó ese sentimiento de haber visto un montón de películas malas.
Se trata de "Yo me encargo de la cerveza" por el título uno pensaría que trata de una película de borrachera y de humor o llena de palabrotas, que por cierto no me gustan para nada, pero no, es una película muchísimo más profunda que eso. Esta gran película fue dirigida por Peter Farrelly, no he visto mucho de él, sólo Green Book, contó con la actuación de actores conocidos y muchos de ellos muy buenos como Zac Efron, Russell Crowe, Bill Murray, Kyle Allen y otros más, quienes lo hicieron muy bien, cabe destacar. Últimamente me he vuelto muy fan de las películas de Apple TV, y esta no me decepcionó, así que sigo pensando que lo están haciendo genial.
The film is about a young adult named Chickie living in the 1960s, when the Vietnam War was in full swing. Chickie spends his time drinking beer and hanging out with his friends, earning a bad reputation from his family and friends, who constantly told him he was doing nothing with his life. Things come crashing down when one of his best friends goes missing in war and some of his other childhood friends enlist in the army and go off to fight as well.
At that moment, without thinking too much, he makes a decision that changes his life completely, his decision takes him to places he had never seen before, and to know from a very different point of view what a war is really like and all the damage they cause. He lives unparalleled adventures that he would never have imagined, while he meets great human beings that mark his life in a significant way, because they teach him a lot in a short time.
This movie is a funny comedy with many moments in which you really laugh a lot, but it is also about something more than that, and it is about how living certain difficult events makes us totally change our way of being and sometimes our personality. I feel that this is its central theme, maturing and no longer focusing so much on ourselves but on how bad others are having a hard time, a rude but necessary way to wake up.
La película trata acerca de un adulto joven llamado Chickie viviendo en los año 60, en la que la guerra de Vietnam estaba en pleno apogeo. Chickie se dedica a beber cerveza y a pasar tiempo con sus amigos, ganando una mala reputación por su familia y amigos, quienes constantemente le decían que no hacía nada con su vida. Las cosas se vienen abajo cuando uno de sus mejores amigos desaparece en guerra y otros de sus amigos de la infancia se enlistan en el ejército y se van también a combatir.
En ese momento sin pensarlo demasiado tomo una decisión que cambia su vida por completo, su decisión lo lleva a lugares que nunca antes había visto, y a conocer desde un punto de vista muy diferente lo que es realmente una guerra y todo el daño que estas causan. Vive aventuras inigualables que jamás se habría imaginado, a la vez que conoce a grandes seres humanos que marcan de una forma significativa su vida, pues le enseñan mucho en poco tiempo.
Esta película es una comedia divertida con muchos momentos en los que la verdad sí te ríes mucho, pero también se trata de algo más que eso, y es en cómo vivir ciertos acontecimientos difíciles nos hace cambiar totalmente nuestra forma de ser y a veces nuestra personalidad. Siento que de todos este es su tema central, el madurar y ya no centrarnos tanto en nosotros mismos sino en lo mal que lo están pasando otros, una forma ruda pero necesaria de despertar.
I feel that "I'll take care of the beers" has a very nice message that is worth mentioning, and it is sometimes because we want to return to those moments when we were happy with our childhood friends, we do some crazy things, but despite everything, a person who really loves and cares about you, even if he does it in a somewhat awkward way, tries to make you feel good in the worst moments. True friends come to wherever you are and bring your favorite drink with them.
On the other hand, it deals with the subject of war and how unpleasant it is, there are many difficult things that people who go through something like this have to experience, many innocent people for the consequences of bad decisions made by those who have more power and it is painful also for those who are outside, to see how there are people who suffer and who try to survive, the film shows this reality in a little different way, from the point of view of a somewhat immature young man.
It is true that we cannot ignore all the bad things around us, but sometimes focusing on other things can help us to keep a good attitude, and in turn spread it to everyone who approaches us. On the contrary, when we are very negative and see only the bad, everything can be too overwhelming and this makes it more difficult to deal with any situation.
Siento que "Yo me encargo de las cervezas" tiene un mensaje demasiado bonito y que vale la pena mencionarlo, y es a veces por querer volver aquellos momentos en los que fuimos felices con nuestros amigos de la infancia, hacemos algunas locuras, pero pese a todo, una persona que quiere realmente y que se preocupa por ti, aunque lo haga de una manera algo torpe, trata de hacerte sentir bien en los peores momentos. Los amigos verdaderos llegan a donde estés y llevan consigo tu bebida favorita.
Por otra parte, trata el tema de la guerra y lo desagradable que es, son muchas las cosas difíciles que tiene que experimentar la gente que pasa por algo como esto, muchos inocentes para las consecuencias de las malas decisiones que toman aquellos que tienen más poder y es doloroso también para quienes están fuera, ver cómo hay gente que sufre y que trata de sobrevivir, la película muestra esta realidad de una manera un poco diferente, desde el punto de vista de un joven algo inmaduro.
También nos muestra como la buena actitud de alguien puede contagiarse, Es verdad que no podemos ignorar todo lo malo que a nuestro alrededor, pero a veces centrarnos en otras cosas puede ayudarnos a mantener una buena actitud, y a su vez contagiársela a todo el que se nos acerque. Por el contrario cuando somos muy negativos y vemos solo lo malo todo puede ser demasiado abrumador y esto hace más difícil lidiar con cualquier situación.
This movie in my opinion was very good, I love that they show pictures of the characters in real life, this always gives a special touch to movies based on real events, but especially to think that this happened in reality, I don't even know how it makes me feel, I would have liked to meet this person and get infected by his stupidity or his determination. It is a good movie to watch and I recommend watching it, because it leaves a lot to think about.

Esta película en mi opinión fue muy buena, me encanta que muestren fotografías de los personajes de la vida real, esto siempre le da un toque especial a las películas basadas en hechos reales, pero sobre todo pensar que esto pasó en la realidad, no se ni cómo me hace sentir, me hubiese gustado conocer a esta persona y contagiarme de su estupidez o su determinación. Es una buena película que ver y lea recomiendo verla, porque deja mucho en que pensar.
