Tenía tiempo sin escribir sobre una película o serie, siempre he sido persona que disfruta de esto, pero tenía un tiempo alejado por fuerzas mayores. Creo que aproximadamente como 3-4 meses sin ver una serie, no me alcanzaba el tiempo y lo peor es que seguía pagando los servicios de streaming. Pero ya eso quedó en el pasado, poco a poco he venido retomando el ritmo y hoy precisamente vi una película que disfruté por completo y me dije que era momento de escribir.

No te haré una sinopsis detallada, puedes ir a leerla en Netflix o mejor aún, ir a ver la película. Lo que si te contaré es como ha sido mi experiencia viendo esta película.
Voy a ser honesto, no es una película que va a deslumbrar por sus efectos, por la edición o dirección, tampoco veremos actuaciones que te harán gritar a la pantalla para que les den un Óscar, pero en mi caso vi lo suficiente, lo suficiente para que me conectara con la película desde el inicio hasta el final. Eso me ha pasado últimamente con películas donde la critica la destruye, pero yo las termino disfrutando. Pero creo que de eso se trata, de cómo te sientas cuando ves una película, porque si al final la disfrutaste, entonces cumplió su objetivo como entretenimiento.
It is Toscana, a Netflix movie that was released a few days ago. In this movie we will see the life of a Chef, a chef who has not overcome certain things in his life but maybe, thanks to the magic of food and love, he may overcome them. I won't give you a detailed synopsis, you can go read it on Netflix or better yet, go see the movie. What I will tell you is what my experience watching this movie has been like.
I'm going to be honest, it's not a movie that is going to dazzle for its effects, editing or direction, neither will we see performances that will make you scream at the screen to give them an Oscar, but in my case I saw enough, enough to make me connect with the movie from the beginning to the end. That has happened to me lately with movies where the critics trash it, but I end up enjoying it. But I think that's what it's all about, how you feel when you watch a movie, because if in the end you enjoyed it, then it fulfilled its purpose as entertainment.

Toda la música te hace caer en nostalgia y al mismo tiempo como si estuvieras enamorado, pero no se puede esperar menos cuando la música es al estilo italiano. Desde el inicio quedé encantado con la música, junto a un estilo cinematográfico creado para eso. Esto ya se ha visto en otras películas, sobre todo en aquellas que de alguna forma se desenvuelven en Italia, pareciera un patrón pero siempre hay algo que distingue a cada una.
La ambientación la disfruté, quizás porque estoy en una etapa donde me gustaría irme de vacaciones a un lugar así, descansar de la ciudad, disfrutar del campo y de la buena comida, pero sobre todo cocinando con ingredientes frescos, ingredientes de la mejor calidad. Aunque no hay mucha presencia estructural de la ciudad, si se logra ver cierta arquitectura y paisajes que agradan a la vista, nada sobresaliente, pero de alguna forma te hace sentir que el ambiente es familiar, sin tanto trabajo para mostrar perfección.
La comida es esplendida en esta película. La comida está presente como elemento principal y al mismo tiempo no lo es. Considero que el tema de la cocina está muy bien balanceado, suficiente para los que les gusta cocinar, para los que les gusta comer y para los que no cocinan nada. A mí como me gusta cocinar, disfruté cada momento alrededor de la cocina o un plato de comida, con esa música de fondo que comenzaba hacer su magia.
This movie has a soundtrack that I enjoyed throughout. All the music makes you fall in nostalgia and at the same time like you are in love, but you can't expect less when the music is Italian style. From the beginning I was enchanted with the music, along with a cinematic style created for that. This has been seen in other films, especially those set in Italy in some way, it seems like a pattern but there is always something that distinguishes each one.
I enjoyed the setting, perhaps because I am at a stage where I would like to go on vacation to a place like this, take a break from the city, enjoy the countryside and good food, but above all cooking with fresh ingredients, ingredients of the highest quality. Although there is not much structural presence of the city, you do get to see some architecture and landscapes that please the eye, nothing outstanding, but somehow makes you feel that the atmosphere is familiar, without so much work to show perfection.
The food is splendid in this film. Food is present as a main element and at the same time it is not. I consider that the theme of cooking is very well balanced, enough for those who like to cook, for those who like to eat and for those who don't cook at all. As I like to cook, I enjoyed every moment around the kitchen or a plate of food, with that music in the background that began to work its magic.

He disfrutado tanto el entorno culinario de esta película, que quiero preparar la primera receta que me enseño mi mamá, una receta de un ponqué. Tendría yo como 10 años cuando lo aprendí de ella y me dejó prepararlo solo. La felicidad que ella tenía por el resultado de mi esfuerzo fue tan grande, que de alguna manera eso me motivo a que la cocina en mi vida no fuera algo de un solo momento.
Quizás me gusto tanto la película porque toco fibras en mí que me despertaron recuerdo bonitos en la cocina, recuerdo que también se activaron por la música y que habia olvida, estaban dormidos esperando ser activados. Creo que, a nivel de críticos expertos del cine, a esta película no le ha ido muy bien, pero mi experiencia fue positiva, pase 1 hora y 30 minutos agradables, relajado, con bonitos recuerdos y aprendiendo de los diferentes y sencillos mensajes que trasmite esta película.
Si hay cosas que me hubiesen encantado que sucedieran diferente o más lento, ya que algunos elementos suceden muy rápido, aunque ya es cuestión de gustos. Quizás puede ser el romanticismo de la música, porque esta película tiene amor, se respira en el aire, que hace que quieras que las cosas sucedan más lento, como para poder disfrutar por más tiempo, pero no es así.

I enjoyed so much the culinary environment of this film, that I want to prepare the first recipe that my mother taught me, a recipe for a cake. I was about 10 years old when I learned it from her and she let me prepare it on my own. The happiness she had for the result of my effort was so great, that somehow that motivated me to make cooking in my life not something of a single moment.
Perhaps I liked the film so much because it touched fibers in me that awakened beautiful memories in the kitchen, I remember that they were also activated by the music and that I had forgotten, they were asleep waiting to be activated. I think that, at the level of expert film critics, this film has not done very well, but my experience was positive, I spent 1 hour and 30 minutes pleasant, relaxed, with nice memories and learning from the different and simple messages that this film transmits.
There are things that I would have liked to happen differently or slower, as some elements happen very fast, although it is a matter of taste. Maybe it could be the romanticism of the music, because this movie has love, it's in the air, that makes you want things to happen slower, as to enjoy it longer, but it's not like that.

Desde el inicio, eso hizo que me quedara viéndola y que de alguna forma se trasmite eso que siempre digo de la cocina: déjate llevar. No soy fan por la cocina perfecta, lo mejor es dejarse llevar por los aromas, por los sabores y hacer que la comida tenga alma, pero por sobre todas las cosas, cocinar con amor.
Si te gusta el romance, el ambiente culinario y esa típica película de personas que viajan a Italia, En la Toscana tienes eso y muchas cosas más. Es una película familiar, que se puede ver con niños sin tener que preocuparse por algún desnudo o escenas de sexo, otro punto que me gusta ya que hace que el ambiente sea más familiar. I'm not going to lie to you, I enjoyed the movie because of the different emotions it caused me, especially the nostalgia and beautiful memories of when I started cooking. From the beginning, that made me stay watching it and it somehow transmits what I always say about cooking: let yourself go. I'm not a fan of perfect cooking, the best thing is to let yourself be carried away by the aromas, by the flavors and make the food have soul, but above all, cook with love.
