Greetings to all fans of movies and series, today I bring you another recommendation. I'll be quite brief:
Lost Girls: An Unsolved American Mystery. It is a book written by Robert Kolker in 2013 if I'm not mistaken. This book tells a crime that happened in real life. And from my point of view I would say femicides, the title speaks for itself.

Lost Girls: An Unsolved American Mystery. Es un libro escrito por Robert Kolker en el 2013 si no me equivoco. Este libro narra un crimen que sucedió en la vida real. Y desde mi punto de vista diría feminicidios, el título habla por si solo.
I had not found out about this story until I entered my Netflix app and was interested in the title, therefore my mystery was resolved.
Lost Girls is about a mother of three daughters, two of them still teenagers and one older. The eldest sent money to her mother to help her cover her expenses, in addition to the fact that one of her sisters suffers from schizophrenia and she must be on medication and as we well know, medicine is expensive.
No me había enterado de esta historia hasta que entré en mi app de Netflix y me interesó el título, por ende se resolvió mi incógnita.
Lost Girls trata de una madre de tres hijas, dos de ellas todavía adolescente y una mayor. La mayor le enviaba dinero a su madre para ayudarla a cubrir sus gastos, además de que una de sus hermanas sufre de esquizofrenia y debe estar medicada y como bien sabemos la medicina es costosa.
Things get a little strange when mother and daughter talk on the phone and reach an agreement that they will all have dinner together as a family that night, but that night her eldest daughter didn't show up. It should be noted that she no longer lived with them and according to the story they tell us about this background. It was somewhat dysfunctional... continuing, the next day there was no communication either and that was when her mother began to do her own private investigation, since the entities where she went for help were inefficient.

It's not a good story at all. But it is something that I see to reflect and be more careful in this world, many women are victims of feminicide every day. Many men think they are dealing with an object and not a person. Even more unpleasant is observing how rotten and corrupt the citizen security system is; entities that should ensure the well-being of the people often collude for their personal benefit.
A raíz de todo esto, y la búsqueda de su hija se lograron encontrar cuerpos de mujeres que habían estado desaparecidas por años.
No es una historia nada buena. Pero es algo que yo veo para reflexionar y tener más cuidado en este mundo, muchas mujeres diariamente son víctimas del feminicidio. Muchos hombres piensan que tratan con un objeto y no una persona. Aún más desagradable es observar lo podrido y corrupto del sistema de la seguridad ciudadana, entes que deberían velar por el bienestar de las personas, muchas veces confabulan para su beneficio personal.
