Ayer mis ahijados Leonel y César, 10 y 5 años respectivamente, me llevaron a una mágica aventura, disfruté con ellos la película de Disney Raya y el último dragón. La inocencia y la alegría de los niños es maravillosa, energía magnífica que alivia los pesares físicos y reconforta corazones apesadumbrados. Su asombro con cada escena era encantador, los ojos de emoción tras descubrir a cada personaje, mirar ese mundo a través de sus ojos me hizo recordar mi infancia y fijarme en esas almas nobles que no están contaminadas de prejuicios, que son capaces de dar cariño desinteresado y sincero.

La película es muy entretenida, distingo que tiene elementos reconocibles en otros filmes como Avatar y Mulan. El estereotipo de la princesa de cuento de hadas quedó atrás y también la presencia de una trama romántica. Raya es una guerrera solitaria y valiente que está decidida a salvar al mundo sosteniendo como bandera el legado familiar, es una heroína que posee habilidades en artes marciales. Además de la protagonista principal, en la película hay otros personajes femeninos cuyas características transmiten sensación de poderío, materializando un giro que ya se venía gestando desde hace algún tiempo en cuanto al papel de la mujer que está muy a tono con este siglo.

Yesterday my godchildren Leonel and César, 10 and 5 years old respectively, took me on a magical adventure, I enjoyed the Disney movie "Raya and the Last Dragon" with them. The innocence and joy of children is wonderful, magnificent energy that relieves physical sorrows and comforts heavy hearts. His amazement with each scene was charming, the eyes of emotion after discovering each character, looking at that world through his eyes made me remember my childhood and fixate on those noble souls who are not contaminated with prejudices, who are capable of giving affection. disinterested and sincere.

The film is very entertaining, I distinguish that it has elements recognizable in other films such as "Avatar" and "Mulan". The stereotype of the fairytale princess was left behind and so was the presence of a romantic plot. Raya is a brave and lonely warrior who is determined to save the world by holding the family legacy as a flag, she is a heroine who possesses martial arts skills. In addition to the main protagonist, in the film there are other female characters whose characteristics convey a sense of power, materializing a turn that had already been brewing for some time in terms of the role of women that is very in tune with this century.

En la historia principal, motivos como la ambición y la traición mueven las acciones, por tanto, estamos ante un universo con varios conflictos existenciales. Desde esta perspectiva, parece que son pocas las esperanzas de transformación para la raza humana. Posteriormente, nuestra intrépida e independiente protagonista debe entender que se debe trabajar en equipo, es decir confiar en sus compañeros y en sí misma. De allí que sea trascendente hacer las paces con el pasado, olvidar lo que un día dividió y continuar por el sendero de la vida edificando pilares éticos que beneficien a todos.

Me gustó mucho el acabado visual del film, el nivel de animación sigue siendo muy alto. Escenarios como Kumandra lucen espectacularmente concebidos tanto por sus características como por su colorido. La banda sonora y efectos también son muy acertados y además los encargados de darle las voces a los personajes fueron muy bien escogidos. Es de resaltar que en las tramas nos encontramos con muchos elementos cómicos que en ningún momento desvían al espectador de la historia principal.

It is also noteworthy that in the plots we find many comic elements that at no time divert the viewer from the main story.

En este largometraje se integran elementos de otras culturas, así Disney vuelve a mostrar un panorama más global que se va desligando de lo convencional. En este caso, las tradiciones del sudoeste asiático se hacen presentes. Para lograr tal fidelidad en pantalla, el director, junto a su equipo de trabajo, consultaron a expertos de la región. Los personajes se muestran bien pensados. Sisu es una criatura mítica muy particular, quizás la más alocada, juguetona y honesta de toda la película. Otro personaje que destaca es Noi, una bebé ladrona cuyos cómplices son unos monos. Asimismo, la villana tiene atributos exclusivos, una princesa guerrera con un look que la hace parecer una artista del rap que, además, cuenta con excelentes estrategias de combate. Sin embargo, me parece que el gran antagonista –las fuerzas del mal– debió estar mejor simbolizado, ya que solo es humo negro sin ningún otro rasgo que sobresalga, aunque está claro que es intencional pues este aspecto no es prioritario en la construcción de la narrativa.

Tal vez podría decirse que la trama se ralentiza en la primera parte, pero luego se toma el ritmo nuevamente al desencadenarse las escenas de acción. Sin duda, hay una gran cantidad de personajes secundarios que podrían desviar la atención, pero resultan carismáticos y poseen matices jocosos, acá considero que funcionaron relativamente bien, a pesar de que su participación en la resolución de los conflictos sea insignificante.

En definitiva, este largometraje está lleno de aventuras fantásticas que permiten disfrutarlo en familia. Genera emociones disímiles a medida que van transcurriendo los hechos. Los valores de la amistad se ven consolidados en el desarrollo de la historia, la unidad y la solidaridad se presentan como elementos sustanciales para dejar una reflexión sobre la condición humana.

Also, the villain has unique attributes, a warrior princess with a look that makes her look like a rap artist who also has excellent combat strategies. However, it seems to me that the great antagonist - the forces of evil - should have been better symbolized, since it is only black smoke without any other feature that stands out, although it is clear that it is intentional since this aspect is not a priority in the construction of the narrative.

Perhaps you could say that the plot slows down in the first part, but then the rhythm is picked up again as the action scenes unleash. Undoubtedly, there are a large number of secondary characters that could divert attention, but they are charismatic and have humorous nuances, here I consider that they worked relatively well, despite the fact that their participation in the resolution of conflicts is insignificant.

In short, this feature film is full of fantastic adventures that allow you to enjoy it as a family. It generates dissimilar emotions as the events unfold. The values of friendship are consolidated in the development of history, unity and solidarity are presented as substantial elements to leave a reflection on the human condition.
