Buenas noches comunidad, hoy les traigo esta película que me gustó mucho y cuando salió todos estaban hablando de ella porque tenía una gran historia, buena música y un diseño muy bonito.
Como kpoper, no me lo podía perder, así que la primera vez que la vi me quedé muy impresionada porque, si no lo sabían, la película fue hecha por una fan del K-pop, además que se usaron varias referencias de cantantes para crear a los personajes.
Es una gran película que logró ganar muchos premios y eso me puso muy feliz, además de conocer la historia detrás de las cantantes principales. Así que pónganse cómodos que empezamos…
🎬 Un poco de contexto
Desde siempre, en Seúl (Corea del Sur), ha existido un grupo de mujeres que combatía el mal de los tiempos cantando y bailando, esto hacía que se creara como una capa protectora que impedía que los demonios u otros seres malignos puedan atacar a las personas.
Cada cierto tiempo el grupo musical iba cambiando tanto de integrantes como de género musical, dependiendo de lo que en ese tiempo estaba de moda dentro de la música. Es así que llegamos a la actualidad y la nueva banda de chicas estaba compuesta por Rumi, Mira y Zoey.
Eran unas chicas súper famosas, cada una con un estilo único que aportaba a que la banda fuera popular. Pero un día Rumi (la líder y vocalista) se enferma y trata de recuperarse lo más rápido posible porque habían comenzado una nueva gira de conciertos; así que, buscando ayuda con varios doctores, se topan con un grupo de jóvenes muy apuestos que resultaron ser otra banda de K-pop.
Pero se notó entre ellos una gran enemistad, como si algo no anduviera bien con ellos. Sin darles importancia ellas continúan con sus conciertos hasta que les avisan que este nuevo grupo de jóvenes estaba teniendo gran éxito y eso que recién salían al mercado.
Muy pronto se dan cuenta de que estos chicos eran demonios y que obviamente estaban tramando algo para que todos los de ese mundo atacaran la ciudad. Entonces los empiezan a vigilar de cerca y a hacer todo lo posible para que no tengan éxito con su banda.
Un día, Jinu, el líder de la otra banda, va a hablar con Rumi para decirle que no estaban tramando nada malo y que confiaran en ellos. Rumi desconfía de él y sus acciones hasta que Jinu le cuenta su triste historia y ella empieza a enamorarse de él.
¿Será que ellos sí son buenos o será que sólo es una trampa? Si quieres saberlo, te invito a que veas la película y te prepares para cantar y bailar porque te divertirás mucho.

♥ Lo que más me gustó
La animación de esta película me gustó bastante, tiene los típicos gestos graciosos que podrías ver en series de anime, además de que también se parece un poco a la película de Red, porque en ambas se habla de bandas de chicos y chicas lindas coreanas.
Hubo varias cosas que me gustaron, como en el principio les comentaba, esta película trató de mostrar cómo son las kpopers, gritando, bailando, cantando, hasta expresándose. Todo esto me pareció algo genial, me sentí un poco identificada jeje sobre todo cuando aparece en escena la boy band cantando su canción más pegajosa llamada Soda Pop y la gente parece volverse loca.
Se ven todos tan tiernos y bonitos jeje, por si no sabían los artistas que los dibujaron tomaron como referencia a varios cantantes de K-pop. Eso lo fueron analizando varias kpopers, como por ejemplo su peinado, su cara, sus ojos, entre otras características.
Es por eso que les digo que pusieron mucho énfasis en hacer que la película tenga más detalles y fuera atractiva para ese público objetivo jeje pero que obviamente también llegó a gustarles a niños y adultos.
Me gusta mucho la escena en la que las tres chicas deciden tomarse al fin unas vacaciones y se preparan para comer, ver películas y dormir por varios días, pero resulta que Rumi ya tenía planeado sacar su siguiente álbum así que dejan todo y vuelven de nuevo a los escenarios.
También me gusta la aparición de este gran felino azul que parece que es algo tontito jeje pero se ve tan tierno, es como el emisario de Jinu. Y también el pajarito de sombrero y tres ojos, que es muy serio y a la vez gracioso por las caras que pone.
La primera parte de la película me pareció genial, porque se las ve a las tres chicas en un avión, comiendo toda la comida que pueden para tener energía y justo deben pelear con los demonios porque se las estaban llevando a otro lugar y ellas tenían que ir a dar un concierto. Toda esa escena, la canción y las imágenes hacen que sea tan divertido todo eso.
Ahora cuando se enamoran Rumi y Jinu me parece muy bonito, si bien no es que se declaran, pero daban a entender que se gustaban, hasta el final que Jinu salva a Rumi, porque la amaba y quería que ella sobreviva y arregle todo lo que él y sus amigos habían hecho.
Me pareció una linda historia de amor, además tomando en cuenta de que Rumi terminó siendo mitad demonio y creo que llegaron a entenderse y comprenderse, pero Jinu también quería liberarse de esos pensamientos que lo atormentaban, por eso también actuó mal.
💭 Algunas reflexiones
Me dejó asombrada cuando me enteré que Rumi era mitad demonio, justo cuando iban a sellar la Honmoon, se manifestó su otro lado. Pero más intriga me dejó que su manager haya sabido de todo esto, pero ella siempre trató de ocultar lo que realmente era Rumi, sobre todo por vergüenza.
Es triste que haya pasado eso y que no hayan comprendido a Rumi, porque era tan mal visto ser demonio y peor que la heroína sea uno, sus amigas también se decepcionan de ella por no haberles contado, aunque creo que, si lo hubiera hecho, no la hubieran entendido o la hubieran tratado de curar, pero viéndolo como algo negativo.
Es por eso que también se llevó bien con Jinu, él comprendía lo que era ser un demonio. Aunque él hizo cosas terribles por avaricia, dejando sola a su familia y al final terminó peor, siendo casi el esclavo de esta entidad demoniaca que controlaba todo el inframundo y al que todos temían.
Jinu era malo, pero trató de cambiar por Rumi, si bien había hecho mucho daño a su familia y ciudad, su castigo fue revivir en su mente lo que les había hecho y quería que eso pasara. Entonces su plan era crear una banda de chicos para que fuera más exitosa que HUNTR/X y así ellas no pudieran proteger al mundo de los demonios.
Me hizo pensar que quizá esos demonios no eran malos, sino que solo actuaban para mantener contento al rey de los demonios, Gwi-Ma. Se notaba que le tenían mucho miedo y casi por obligación atacaban a las personas, aunque también se alimentaban de las almas humanas, pero todo lo que recolectaban era para ese rey.
Lo bueno es que lograron salvar al mundo de este ser, pero a cambio se llevó las vidas de los chicos de la banda, esa última escena fue triste, pero gracias a la ayuda de Jinu, las guerreras K-pop lograron sellar al fin esta protección.
Pero yo creo que él no está muerto, quizá vuelva en una segunda película, espero que sea así porque la verdad tuvo bastante éxito.

Good evening, community. Today I bring you this movie that I liked a lot, and when it came out, everyone was talking about it because it had a great story, good music, and very nice design.
As a K-pop fan, I couldn't miss it, so the first time I watched it, I was very impressed because, if you didn't know, the movie was made by a K-pop fan, and several references from singers were used to create the characters.
It's a great movie that managed to win many awards, and that made me very happy, in addition to learning the story behind the main singers. So get comfortable because we're starting...
🎬 A bit of context
Since always, in Seoul (South Korea), there has been a group of women who fought the evils of the times by singing and dancing, creating a protective layer that prevented demons or other malevolent beings from attacking people.
Every so often, the musical group would change both its members and musical genre, depending on what was in vogue in music at that time. And so we arrive at the present day, where the new girl band was composed of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey.
They were super famous girls, each with a unique style that contributed to the band's popularity. But one day Rumi (the leader and vocalist) falls ill and tries to recover as quickly as possible because they had started a new concert tour; so, seeking help from various doctors, they come across a group of very handsome young men who turned out to be another K-pop band.
But there was a noticeable animosity among them, as if something wasn't right with them. Without paying them much attention, they continued with their concerts until they were informed that this new group of young people was having great success, even though they had just hit the market.
Very soon they realize that these guys were demons and that they were obviously plotting something to make everyone from that world attack the city. So they start to keep a close watch on them and do everything possible to ensure their gang doesn't succeed.
One day, Jinu, the leader of the other gang, goes to talk to Rumi to tell her that they weren't plotting anything bad and that they should trust them. Rumi distrusts him and his actions until Jinu tells her his sad story and she starts to fall in love with him.

♥ What I liked the most
I really liked the animation in this movie; it has the typical funny gestures you might see in anime series, and it also resembles the movie Red a bit because both talk about bands of cute Korean boys and girls.
There were several things I liked, as I mentioned at the beginning, this movie tried to show what kpop fans are like, screaming, dancing, singing, and even expressing themselves. All of this seemed really cool to me, I felt a bit identified haha especially when the boy band appears on stage singing their catchiest song called Soda Pop and the people seem to go crazy.
They all look so cute and pretty hehe, in case you didn't know, the artists who drew them used several K-pop singers as references. Several K-pop fans analyzed that, for example, their hairstyle, their face, their eyes, among other characteristics.
That's why I tell you that they put a lot of emphasis on making the movie more detailed and appealing to that target audience, haha, but it obviously also ended up being liked by children and adults.
I really like the scene where the three girls finally decide to take a vacation and prepare to eat, watch movies, and sleep for several days, but it turns out Rumi had already planned to release her next album, so they drop everything and return to the stage.
I also like the appearance of this big blue feline that seems a bit silly haha but looks so cute, it's like Jinu's emissary. And also the little bird with a hat and three eyes, who is very serious and at the same time funny because of the faces he makes.
The first part of the movie seemed great to me because you see the three girls on a plane, eating all the food they can to have energy, and they just have to fight the demons because they were being taken somewhere else and they had to go give a concert. All that scene, the song, and the images make it all so much fun.
Now, when Rumi and Jinu fall in love, I find it very beautiful, even though they don't declare their feelings, they imply that they liked each other, until the end when Jinu saves Rumi because he loved her and wanted her to survive and fix everything he and his friends had done.
I thought it was a beautiful love story, especially considering that Rumi ended up being half-demon, and I believe they came to understand and comprehend each other. But Jinu also wanted to free himself from those tormenting thoughts, which is why he also acted wrongly.
💭 Some reflections
I was astonished when I found out that Rumi was half demon, just when they were about to seal the Honmoon, her other side manifested. But what intrigued me more was that her manager knew about all this, yet she always tried to hide what Rumi really was, especially out of shame.
It's sad that this happened and that they didn't understand Rumi, because being a demon was so frowned upon, and worse, the heroine being one. Her friends were also disappointed in her for not telling them, although I think that if she had, they wouldn't have understood her or would have tried to cure her, but seeing it as something negative.
That's why he also got along well with Jinu; he understood what it was like to be a demon. Although he did terrible things out of greed, leaving his family alone, in the end, he ended up worse, almost becoming a slave to this demonic entity that controlled the entire underworld and whom everyone feared.
Jinu was bad, but he tried to change for Rumi, even though he had done a lot of harm to his family and city, his punishment was to relive in his mind what he had done to them and he wanted that to happen. So his plan was to create a band of boys to make it more successful than HUNTR/X, and thus they couldn't protect the world from demons.
It made me think that perhaps those demons weren't evil, but were just acting to keep the demon king, Gwi-Ma, happy. It was clear that they were very afraid of him and almost out of obligation attacked people, although they also fed on human souls, but everything they collected was for that king.
The good thing is that they managed to save the world from this being, but in return, it took the lives of the boys in the band. That last scene was sad, but thanks to Jinu's help, the K-pop warriors finally managed to seal this protection.
But I think he's not dead, maybe he'll come back in a second movie, I hope so because it really was quite successful.
