Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. I have always been a lover of horror movies and today I am going to review one of my favourite horror movie and share a real incident connected to it. Also, there's no spoilers today so read without any worries. To be honest, I find it very exciting to sit in a dark room, there's silence all over and waiting for that next scary moment. I know many people who like the genre of romance or action and they do not like horror, some people say there isn't any good movie of horrors and some say that it doesn't scare them, they find it funny. Well, I think most of them are scared to watch so they came up with excuses. Because there are plenty of horror movies which can scare you to death. Anyway, horror genre has always been my favourite. I know many horror movies follow the same formula with jump scares and creepy music, yet every now and then I find one that feels completely different. Incantation is one of those movies. I can guarantee if you watch it alone in a dark room, you will definitely feel something.

You know what? I did not plan to watch it at first because I thought it must be one of the worst ones. But then I had seen people talking about it online saying it was one of the scariest horror movies they had ever watched. So, I was intrigued to watch the trailer and I still thought people might be exaggerating because that happens a lot with horror movies. But then my friends were saying that we must watch this movie as it's on hype. I also had researched about it online and found many positive reviews, so yeah, my curiosity won. I decided that it was finally time to watch it.

There was only one small problem. Even if I watch a movie from a different country I usually prefer watching dubbed movies, because most of the time I eat during movie time. So, I can't keep my eyes on the subtitles and food at the same time. Moreover, I like focusing on the scenes instead of reading subtitles. Unfortunately, there was no English dub available at that time, so I had to watch it with English subtitles. Yes, I know if we watch the originals in their actual form then it can make the experience more enjoyable, but it's not like I avoid it intentionally. Anyway, after just a few minutes, I forgot that I was reading subtitles because the movie pulled me into its world so well.

The more I praise, the more it feels less because the movie turned out to be really good. Everything felt so real was because of the sound design. Every little sound, every strange noise, every whisper felt incredibly realistic. I won't lie but I was lowering my volume at some moments, because with the volume turned up I was feeling scared. Honestly, I could feel that intensity and as if I was inside the movie instead of simply watching it. It didn't feel like they exaggerated any background sounds because it was very natural. I won't lie but I kept looking around my room wondering if something would move around my room. I am a bit delusional, hehe.

Let's get into the real incident which had happened while watching the movie, I will probably never forget about it. I forgot to mention, I was watching this movie with one of my girl friend. She came over because we hadn't meet in a while, so we both wanted to do something. That's why we were watching this movie together. Back to the incident. So, there was a creepy sound was playing in the background during one of the scenes, it was a chant. It slowly became louder, making the whole atmosphere feel uncomfortable. Then I don't know what happened but I could still hear the sound even after I paused the movie. My heart started to beat fast because of fear. I asked my friend if she can hear it too, and she said "Yes." Then we looked outside the window wondering where it was coming from. But we couldn't not find the source of it. It was really strange. Well, I do not believe in ghosts but I believe there are some entities out there which is not visible to our eyes. For that reason, I was feeling more scared. This is the link of the sound that was creeping me out, watch it at your own risk. When I searched for it, I didn't have the courage to replay it so I just copied the link for you guys. I think it felt more creepy when it was playing in the movie.

The scariest part is that the sound was almost exactly the same as the one used in the movie and we were hearing it in real life. I have watched so many horror movies but never faced such things. This was my first and maybe the last experience? I hope it's the last. After checking everything, my fear had already kicked in. I would have thought that I'm imagining things but how can my friend hear it as well?

Because of that moment, we actually stopped watching the movie for a while. Yes, it scared us that much. At that moment, nobody wanted to continue. I cannot remember the last time a horror movie made me pause it because I was genuinely scared. That alone says a lot about how effective Incantation is.

I haven't discussed about the movie plot yet, so here's a brief summary. It's about a woman who's name is Li Ronan, she and her friends goes to a religious village and learns about something they shouldn't. Later they breaks a religious taboo while investigating a mysterious rituals. Guess what? A terrible curse started to follow them. After that incident, years passed and Ronan now has a daughter but the curse begins affecting her child, and Ronan desperately tries to protect her. So, you will get to experience the story between the past and the present. It's like a slow burn where everything is revealed slowly.

If the movie had revealed everything immediately then I wouldn't have enjoyed it this much. When small pieces of information are given as an audience I was also curious and it made me want to investigate more. Even if you had your answers for previous questions, you would still get two new questions in mind. Honestly, the mysterious vibe kept me interested from beginning to end.

Also, the found-footage style was creative and I have seen many movies using the same concept but they don't know how to do it properly. The movie will make you think what if it's real, everything feel as if it was shoot with a real camera it didn't feel like I was watching a normal movie. It made every scene feel more believable, almost like watching real events unfold. Everything felt so natural and I even forgot I was watching a fictional movie.

The cast deserves a praise for making it possible. The emotions felt real specially Ronan's fear and desperation to save her daughter. I was literally panicking with her. The young little girl also did an amazing job, she was truly adorable. Their relationship made the story more emotional instead of being scary all the time. I was feeling sad for Ronan because she was struggling a lot as she did not deserve all of these. Which made me wonder why every time something bad happens with the innocent people.

I am glad the movie relied more on atmosphere than on constant jump scares. Of course, there were a few jumpscare which was too good and those moments were one of the best part of the movie. I usually hate jump scare, because in other movies it's included multiple times. But the real horror came from the feeling that something terrible was always nearby. I felt uncomfortable in the room even though my friend was watching the movie with me. Actually, we both were scared and still wanted to finish it.

The movie also uses religious beliefs, symbols, rituals and psychological fear in a very interesting way. So, if you don't like these kind of concepts then it would be better not to watch it. They didn't focus of violence or gore that much. The movie leaves everything for your imagination and I believe what you imagine is much scarier than what you actually see.

Of course, no movie is perfect. Since it is a found-footage film, the camera sometimes shakes a lot, which may not be enjoyable for everyone. Also, whenever I suggested this movie to someone they wouldn't watch it, because there was no english dub. People who dislike reading while watching might find it a little difficult. But I think the English dub wouldn't be able to create such atmosphere and portray it so fluently as it was in korean. The story's atmosphere are strong enough that these small issues wouldn't matter for someone who loves horror movies.

After finishing the movie, I understood why so many people recommended it. It's more than a horror movie which isn't filled with cheap scares. Even now, when I remember that strange moment with the background sound continuing after I paused the movie, I still get goosebumps. I still have no clue why and how it had happened. But it made the whole experience unforgettable.

If you are like me daring hehe, then you should definitely watch this movie. I highly recommend giving Incantation a chance. When you watch it at night with the lights off don't use your mobile or chat with anyone just focus on the movie only. Turn the volume up if you really want the full experience. Just be prepared—you might end up pausing the movie like....I did.

In the end, Incantation is one of the most memorable horror movies I have ever watched. The experience was terrifying and unforgettable. It is definitely a movie that every horror fan should watch at least once. Add it to your watch list now! I would love to know if it was upto your taste and was it worth it, just like the way I have described.

The truth is, we were surprised not only by the story itself but also by the actors’ performances.

Bueno, digamos que algunas no son tan sobresalientes pero de igual manera, han cumplido con su trabajo en lograr transmitir la angustia, el desespero y las ganas de reencontrase como familia. A diferencia de La actuación de Sam Worthington que como todo gran actor logra transmite muy bien la desesperación, el peso del duelo y la determinación implacable de un padre que no tiene nada que perder. En el elenco secundario tenemos actuaciones como la de Britt Lower y Milo Ventimiglia actores que le da mucha más solidez al conflicto familiar y policial de la trama. La serie cuenta con 8 capítulos en su mayoría de un tiempo aproximado de 40 minutos y cada cierre cumple de sobra con su cometido, mantenernos al borde del asiento durante sus 8 episodios.

Well, let’s just say that some of them aren’t all that outstanding, but they’ve still done their job in conveying the anguish, the desperation, and the desire to reunite as a family. In contrast, Sam Worthington’s performance like that of any great actor successfully conveys the desperation, the weight of grief, and the relentless determination of a father who has nothing to lose. In the supporting cast, we have performances by actors like Britt Lower and Milo Ventimiglia, who lend much more depth to the family and police-related conflicts in the plot. The series consists of eight episodes, most of which run approximately 40 minutes, and each one more than fulfills its purpose: keeping us on the edge of our seats throughout all eight episodes.

Cada episodio nos dejaba con más y más dudas y cuando teníamos alguna idea de quién estaba detrás de la conspiración que mantuvo a David Burroughs por 5 años tras las rejas, la historia daba un giro inesperado y fue eso lo que más nos llamó la atención, pues sinceramente siempre quedábamos comiéndonos las uñas entre dudas, preguntas, conspiraciones. Son muy pocas las recientes producciones que vayan por el suspenso dramático y misterio que me hayan enganchado tanto con ellas y no cabe duda, Te Encontré se ha ganado un gran espacio entre mis favoritas del 2026.

Each episode left us with more and more questions, and just when we thought we had an idea of who was behind the conspiracy that kept David Burroughs behind bars for five years, the story took an unexpected turn and that’s what really grabbed our attention, because honestly, we were always on the edge of our seats, torn between doubts, questions, and conspiracies. There are very few recent productions in the dramatic suspense and mystery genres that have hooked me this much, and there’s no doubt about it: Te Encontré has earned a prominent spot among my favorites of 2026.

It has been almost forty years since the last film adaptation of the character. He-Man returned once again to the big screen with "Masters of the Universe." A movie directed by Travis Knight, who with his creative vision revived an iconic eighties franchise. At the same time, he achieved what few directors can do these days: "please their audience" (the nostalgic fans).

I am not a fan of the TV series "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" but I was familiar with it since childhood. It was not from my era of cartoons, and I had the impression that it was a very outdated series. When I learned that a movie of the franchise was being produced, I had no interest, but that changed when I saw the first trailer. And I realized it is a much better adaptation than I expected.

The plot tells how Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine), after spending fifteen years living on Earth, recovers his magic sword and travels to his home planet Eternia along with his childhood friend, Teela (Camila Mendes). His main mission is to become the hero He-Man and free the planet from the tyranny of the evil Skeletor.

I would describe the story as an action journey with plenty of humor where everything revolves around hand-to-hand fights or chases involving laser gunfire.

It reminded me of the Guardians of the Galaxy saga and Star Wars, two of my favorite film franchises. This movie is set in a universe where fantastic magic and high-tech science fiction coexist in harmony without canceling each other out. It's like seeing in live-action the fantasy world we all dreamt of living in someday.

Unlike recent film adaptations that involve the existence of a real world (for example: a Minecraft movie), this one’s screen time for Earth is very short, which is appreciated. The first 20 minutes are like a summary of the first Thor movie (2011). However, once the real action starts in the dazzling landscapes of Eternia, it is fantastic.

Travis Knight opted for a light tone that embraces the original material very faithfully without becoming outdated, using humor I would say is directly inspired by the comedic style of Guardians of the Galaxy.

If I had to find faults with the film, I think it would be the use of CGI in several aspects of the aesthetics (and of course, when dealing with a world of magic and fantasy full of alien monsters and robots, it's expected to use this resource), but what I mean is that sometimes the excess of CGI was noticeable in action scenes. That made some sequences feel disconnected from the narrative.

As for the acting, I have to say this is the first time I know Nicholas Galitzine; I understand he has experience as a drama actor. In this movie, he delivers a surprising performance that adds dimensionality to the role of He-Man.

But who caught my attention was Jared Leto as Skeletor; he is physically unrecognizable, but he performed on set and gave voice to the character, bringing charisma as best he could, and that is admirable.

Alongside him, Idris Elba playing Man-At-Arms made me realize one thing: they are typecasting him as an action hero who uses firearms (something seen in "The Suicide Squad (2021)" by James Gunn when he played Bloodsport).

It is an exciting journey for fans of action and "epic" moments. I have yet to understand why it was a box office failure when critics applaud "Masters of the Universe": its global gross was $113.6 million, and it has been labeled disappointing due to its massive production budget. Perhaps it is the best movie of its genre this year. It is highly recommended.

Disclosure Day keeps reminding you Steven Spielberg can still direct the hell out of something, while also making you wish the script gave him more to work with although he was part of that story, he didnt only direct but also was part of creating the story around it. There is nothing complicated about this story, Daniel steals proof that alien life has been hidden away for decades, Wardex tries to stop him getting it out and Margaret gets pulled into the mess after she starts speaking an alien language live on a weather report but at the end we shown she has always been part of this. That gives the movie plenty to move between, mystery, chases, humor, real fear and bigger questions about what the truth would do to the world, and the movie handles that switching very well in my opinion, there is a lot that develops from the Margaret gettin her first intervenstions, to the chase, to the alien tech, a series of events that keeps you entertain. I wanted to know why Margaret and Daniel were connected, what Wardex actually did to the aliens and what disclosure would mean with the world sliding toward a third world war, we are not far from it though, the issue is some ideas get real attention while others show up once and get dropped along with the dump desissions or the too convinient moments that help both Daniel and Margaret to get their way. There are several strong scenes here and a solid reason for these people to risk everything, but the scenes connecting those moments feel a lot more ordinary and simple. Spielberg can make a chase or a strange image feel important on instinct but he cannot hide it when the script takes the easy way out, which is why this movie feels close to great without ever getting there. It was not bad, I get why some people probably got bored because it does take some time to get to the point, the chase and not knowing why things happening is the biggest part Im sure some people might end up picking their phone during the movie, we all in a short attention span generation and this movie probably ask too much of the audience to stay focus when you spend half of the movie without gettint to the truth or point, yeah we all get Margaret speaks with animals and knows people, and that Daniel stole some highly clasified sht, but WHY!!!???.

Emily Blunt is the reason the character side stays believable, the movie would lose a lot without her, she plays Margaret, who starts as a local weather reporter who wants a bigger position and that lighter idea gives Blunt room to be funny without making the character silly. Once she starts speaking languages she never learned and picking up what people carry inside them, the performance shifts with her, funny at first, then real fear once Margaret realizes this is not going to pass and there is a lot more coming. Her breakdown on the train was really satisfying because it is not only about escaping Wardex, her hands will not stop shaking and that loss of control scares her before it drags up the guilt she has carried for years about pulling away from her father while his parkinsons kept getting worse. Blunt keeps that clear without turning Margaret into a different person every time the tone shifts and gives the final scenes more weight once Margaret understands her ability is meant to help her communicate with humanity, even though the reveal could have felt rushed because of how fast the script dumps her backstory once they get to this warehouse where they have replicated her parents house, the childhood contact with the aliens and why she understands people so deeply. Her ability is not just mind reading, it forces her to feel the pain, love, regret and fear inside other people thats why she kept teling Daniel she didnt want to look at him in the eyes because she would feel, which makes using it exhausting and unfair to her, but Blunt carries that weight on her own.

Daniel is where the writing gets a bit shaky because as the secondary character he doesnt bring that much to the table and that is frustrating because he carries the proof that makes this whole movie possible, although we do get to know the guy was giving a talent to understand math as nobody else but that never shine that much as Margaret talent to comunicate and feel people. He steals the files and an alien device from Wardex, works with Hugo and the other defectors, and can understand the alien language through math, but he mostly feels like the guy moving information around instead of someone the movie wants us to know. Josh O Connor gives him a quiet nervous energy that fits a man who has lived with missing childhood memories and abilities he never understood, but its like the script hands almost all the emotional work to Margaret and there is nothing left for him, even his ex nun partner has a way better emotional weight into the movie, that for me was a cheap shot. Daniel and Margaret have this shared past that should hit harder than it does but the problem is that it lacks context, its not until the third part of the movie that we understand this was all part of the plan, the reconstruction of the house where Margaret grew up shows us that both were taken by aliens as kids and prepared for different parts of the same message, but that answer arrives too late through one big flashback and a pile of explanation that takes out of the emotion and makes it feel like just a data dump. Daniel understands the aliens and Margaret understands people, so neither can finish disclosure alone, I just wish the movie let their relationship breathe before telling us what it meant. The supporting characters have the same problem, Hugo knows almost everything but never becomes more than useful, Jane brings up all this real concerns about religion and then she just vanishes until the story needs her back with the device, like girl where you have been all this time? undetected out there?.

I got a few bones to pick up with this movie, first one is the tension keeps falling apart every time Wardex is supposed to act like a real threat, and things get worst on that department as at the end they just give up like, fuck it, tell everyone. This agency has surveillance, armed teams, helicopters and alien technology, still two people Daniel and Margaret keep getting out of situations that should end the chase on the spot, I get they do have certain habilties but still is two againt hundredes. Daniel walks across an open field while agents surround a farmhouse and nobody notices him, and Margaret gets Daniel out of a secure base just by making guards see people from their own past, like come on are they all that weak? there is not a single savage on this agency?. The final confrontation is worse because Wardex shows up at the station with weapons and every reason to shut the broadcast down, then Scanlon just gives up the second Margaret gets the power back on, and all that was missing was him rolling his eyes up to be hilarious instead of boring, especially since he believes disclosure could destroy governments, religion and public order. The alien device has the same problem, it starts out dangerous and mysterious, then it can get into minds, control bodies, hide a house and fire trucks, power a television station, and solve whatever the script needs, it becomes too convinient, adding new abilities the second it needs them instead of giving the audience rules it can trust, it turns into an easy escape route whenever the script needs it, which hurts the train sequence and the rest of the chases too. My biggest problem with the movie is that it doesnt really matter if Spielberg is the one directing, nobody cannot save characters who keep surviving because special trained forces suddenly forget what they are capable and suppose to do and the movie wants Wardex to feel scary and harmless at the same time but only to protect the hopeful aspect of the movie, its like you want to go fast and in between drop a few gears and then pick up again, that takes away the pressure the story needs.

The movie OPPENHEIMER is really packed with a lot of things. There is a lot of talking many characters and different timelines of like the movie Dunkirk. You will probably need to watch it to understand everything that is going on.

The way the movie is made is really good. The directing, the pictures and the editing are all done well. But what really stands out is the music by Ludwig Göransson it is a mix of classical and electronic music. This is the movie soundtrack of the year and it is the best one in any of Nolans movies.

The movie looks like it was made a time ago like something from the old Hollywood days.

I do not think the movie should be rated R there are no violent pictures and it is not a horror movie at all.

All the actors in the movie are great Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon, Benny Safdie and Robert Downey Jr.

The movie is three hours long. It does not get boring. However the last part might be a little disappointing to some people.

When you watch the movie you can tell that Nolan was inspired by movies like Lawrence of Arabia JFK and First Man.

The movie OPPENHEIMER is not perfect it has a problems. The women in the movie are not developed well. For example Florence Pughs character is not, in the movie. Overall the movie OPPENHEIMER does not have a lot of feeling.

I'm here again with the Enola Holmes but it's it part three which was released recently in july and i was so hurry to watch it as I can't wait to finish because the second part of Enola Holmes leave some twist for his audience. I'll tell you sure why i was willing to watch it. image source

In the last scene of Enola Holmes 2, Tewkesbury purpose Enola to marry him and start a life with him, it was a pure and beautiful purposal because both were already in love as they confess it but i like the ring as Tewkesbury knows about flowers so this ring was cute whicg is simply turn a flower into a ring, no diamond or gold ring just like in other movie's or other purposal but it was a natural ring.

So, Milli Bobby Brown once again come as a role of Enola and they're started to make arrangements of their wedding. One day Tewkesbury invited Enola to his home at lunch with his mom and decided the place for the wedding and they decided the Capital city Malta. So, their Wedding ceremony will be held in Malta..... Yayyyy let's see their wedding ceremony. Image source

Our sweet Enola was in her wedding dress, Tewkesbury was waiting for her at the marriage hall and everyone wait's for her to come and Begin the ceremony. But , here she was confused as she start to remember what her mother told to her, she thought that this wedding tied her as a lady and maybe she have to change for the Tewkesbury and her family because they're a Royal family of England. But she thinks she can't cheat the Tewkesbury as she can trust on him because she knows him.

Enola decided to go to wedding ceremony as soon as possible because she was already late but Wait for moment.....

She was on her way, that she noticed someone chasing her cart and she thinks to fight her so pick her gun and what is this a Lady in her wedding gown over the cart and holding a gun, for me it's cool to see as it's a rarest scene I've seen ever. But then she found out it's Dr. Jhon Watson who tell her that Sherlock is kidnapped, so our detective Enola soul woke up once again, she decided to find Sherlock instead of going to wedding hall as she thinks Tewkesbury will understand her position.

Tewkesbury was so disappointed and so his family and friends, Enola came after some time, she told to Tewkesbury about Sherlock, He said that he didn't assume this day as it is. But at the night there was fire in the restaurant and Tewkesbury mother also kidnapped from her room now our sweet detective will find her soon mother-in-law and her sweet brother and this time she alone have to solve the case without the help of Sherlock. I like it how she solve the case alone, it was actually belong to Tewkesbury father who has some gold after The battle of Khost, and Sherlock leave this hint for Enola, this is the case of high corruption including government as the main target wasn't the Sherlock but it was the gold and corruption. However the corruption case was boring as compare to the case of previous two movies of Enola. I still enjoyed it but not too much.

Actually the Director for Enola Holmes 3 was changed as it was Philip Barantini and i can't feel the same energy level but no doubt Milli Bobby Brown try to give us the same strength and same energy level. Also the scenery of Malta was so beautiful especially when they find bath place in between the mountains. Image source

Obviously at the end Our detective Enola solved the case at once and saved her brother and her mother-in-law, but i always love it how her mom appeared silently everytime when she need her. At the end marriage will take place too and it was a happy ending with the I'm his and I'm her's as this was so fascinating and charming.
