Hi movie lovers 🤗 Happy new week to everyone. I watched this action thriller movie during the weekend break and I thought I really have to share my thoughts about it. This movie shows the essence of leadership which is not about showmanship or popularity but responsibility, It shows the devotion of a leader to his people to bring about peace for the benefits of all, it also shows corruption and self centeredness in politics. Leaders are people that stand for what is right, lead with integrity and stays firm to challenge the system when it goes wrong.

Captain America Brave New World was produced this year 2025 and the two main characters are Anthony Mackie (who acted as Sam Wilson also known as Captain America), Harrison Ford (who acted as President Ross Thaddeus also known as Thunderbolt Ross). This movie is a balance of action with emotion. This isn’t your typical shoot-and-forget action movies. This is a real story here rooted in the sacrifices of being a good hero trying to make things better in the midst of corrupted wolves in human clothing. The storyline of this movie is so captivating and the actors really did an excellent job, I love them, every scene was epic.

PLOT

The movie started with Sam who is operating as Captain America with the support of Joaquin Torres, who has taken up the Falcon mantle. Together they respond to various international crises as representatives of peace rescuing everyone from the bad guys. Sam who is always diligent in his work still wrestles with the immense responsibility of carrying the shield and being a symbol of a hero in a divided world of different people and enemies.

Meanwhile, President Ross who is now the leader of the United States is pushing for global security reforms and is secretly developing a program to create enhanced super soldiers under government control. He believes that superheroes need regulation and that Sam is too idealistic, unpredictable and might become uncontrollable one day.

However, trouble begins when a global terrorist group called "The Order" emerges. They claim to fight for a new world free from Western interference and hero worship. They use advanced technology, dangerous drugs and psychological control to destabilize governments, their attacks are swift and coordinated sparking international panic. Sam later learns that The Order is not just a terrorist group but they are supported by expert scientists, former government operatives and even elements within the U.S government itself who believe that the world needs to be reshaped through force and fear. However, the situation escalated when a paramount United Nations Summit was attacked and Captain America was falsely blamed for setting up the attack with his old friend and mentor Isaiah. Isaiah Bradley was arrested falsely and locked up, the media turns against him and Sam, public trust also begins to crumble. Sam is forced to go underground and starts investigating with the help of his partner Joaquin Torres and Sabra an Israel intelligence agent.

The deeper they dig, the more they discover that President Ross is linked to a secret project called "new world” aimed at replacing independent heroes with loyal, enhanced soldiers. Ross is trying to take total control by removing unpredictable elements like Sam and replacing them with his technological controlled team. President Ross begins publicly questioning Sam’s loyalty saying he is in support of the attack that happened and represents ideals of the past while promoting a new Captain America under his command who is an aggressive, enhanced soldier who is loyal to the system not the people.

Sam and his team organised a secret military base in Africa, where The Order is developing a mind-control technology that can manipulate world leaders. However, they decided to destroy it so that they could save millions of people but attacking a U.S military facility would officially make Sam a traitor. Sam makes the hard choice and confronts Ross directly. He declares that Captain America isn’t about title or political obedience but it’s about doing what is right even when it’s hard and standing up for people without a voice. This message triggers a wave of public support from citizens across the world.

However, this didn't go down well with President Ross so a massive battle ensues between Sam’s team and Ross's enhanced operatives. Unknown to Ross, he had been taking dangerous drugs given by the rogue scientist due to his heart disease without knowing that this was accumulating in his body to turn him into something else, so in the middle of the battle between his team and Sam's team, in rage he became a monster he never thought of. Fortunately, Sam was able to defeat the rogue super soldier, defeat Ross and bring him back to his normal being, the Order was dismantled and Ross crimes was exposed to the world.
After the battle, the global perception of Captain America shifts, people begin to accept that Sam as their hero in the modern world.

REVIEWS AND RATINGS

This movie is so interesting and well acted out, I highly celebrate the producer and actors of this movie for a great job well done. This movie is more than just superhero action, it is a story that reflects the struggles of modern leadership, identity and justice. It teaches us that we should not only know how to fight but why we must fight for truth, hope and unity in a broken world.

¡Saludos comunidad! La verdad hoy no fue un día muy bueno para películas, pude ver tres que al menos las dos primeras las abandone a los 15 minutos por ser realmente aburridas e incomprensibles.

La Primavera de la Señora Stone está ambientada en los años 60's en el cual narra la vida de una actriz y cómo eran visto por la sociedad ciertos temas acerca del amor y el estatus social en tiempos de guerra donde los títulos nobles se perdieron con las secuelas propias de la guerra.

Mientras veía la película agradecí por estos tiempos en donde la sociedad es más permisiva y con la mente abierta, en la que por fin nos hemos desprendido de muchas cosas inútiles que nos hacían infelices y creo que en este aspecto, seguimos por buen camino hacia amar con libertad sin prejuicios de razas, sexo, condición social o la edad. De hecho he leído varios estudios donde mencionan que el amor después de los 40 y 50 es más placentero y genuino.

Recuerdo que en los años 90's aun se condenaba mucho que alguien de 40 años rehiciera su vida luego de un fracaso o de una pérdida amorosa. Eran muy mal visto muchas cosas en la sociedad en esos tiempos.

Mi madre enviudó muy joven a los 43 años, cuando transité por esa edad me di cuenta que a penas estaba en la flor de la juventud y aunque yo le motivaba que rehiciera su vida, el resto de la familia la condenaba de maneras muy crueles. Definitivamente agradecí estos tiempos.

The truth is that today was not a very good day for movies, I was able to see three that at least the first two I abandoned after 15 minutes for being really boring and incomprehensible. Mrs. Stone's Springtime is set in the 60's in which narrates the life of an actress and how certain issues about love and social status were seen by society in times of war where noble titles were lost with the aftermath of the war. While watching the movie I was thankful for these times where society is more permissive and open minded, where we have finally let go of many useless things that made us unhappy and I believe that in this aspect, we are on the right path towards loving freely without prejudice of race, sex, social status or age. In fact I have read several studies where they mention that love after 40 and 50 is more pleasurable and genuine. I remember in the 90's there was still a lot of condemnation for someone in their 40's to rebuild their life after a failure or loss of love. A lot of things were frowned upon in society in those days. My mother was widowed very young at the age of 43, when I was at that age I realized that she was in the prime of her youth and although I encouraged her to rebuild her life, the rest of the family condemned her in very cruel ways. I was definitely grateful for those times.

  My Review  

A thrilling anime with a touching family theme Summer Wars is a powerful film. What impressed me the most was the combination of traditional Japanese values and new technological means. The Jinouchi family is large, dysfunctional, and culturally entrenched in society, so watching them all come together to destroy the digital menace was an enjoyable and touching experience.

Kenji's character was easy to relate to and I was encouraged by the way he transformed into one of the heroes who stood up to fear. This virtual world of OZ was rich in design, colorful, and used very creatively. The artwork is amazing and the music is such that it perfectly describes not only the fight scenes but also the more emotional moments of the family.

This movie is not about knowledge, it is about healing, unity and bonding. Whether you are hungry to watch summer mood, cyber lie, or touching moments Summer Wars will satisfy any viewer. Thank you all.

Many times during our lives we feel in love with that one special person but that is where the illusion comes to life and shows us the face of betrayal, many suffer or will suffer from that feeling when they see that in reality their partners never loved them.

I have just completed the first ten chapters of the first season of The Handmaid's Tale. A story where it is implied that in times where we take for granted that technology is advancing and human rights are gaining strength every day or reaching their peak, anything can happen. There is a lot of rawness in the content of this series. In the first season and the only one I have seen so far, we are shown, first of all, a modern society with a highly repressive and hostile government system.

In this first panorama that I present about the series and according to what I saw, everything appears deformed. It starts from an apparently normal contemporary reality but then, in that same contemporary society, the sophisticated coexists with the worst barbarism in the world. Could it be that the future distances us from the tyrannies of the past or rather, without realizing it, brings us closer with a new appearance? Believe me, this is how tense my thoughts were after only ten chapters.

At first it was not easy for me to unravel the content of the story. We are used to, or at least I am, to seeing linear structures in every movie. But, when it comes to flashback or a back and forth in times, I get very confused. In a nutshell, we must pay attention in order to thread the plot without getting lost in the attempt.

Acabo de completar los primeros diez capítulos de la primera temporada de El Cuento de las Criadas. Una historia donde se da a entender que en tiempos donde damos por hecho que la tecnología avanza y los derechos humanos cada día cobran más fuerza o alcanzan su cúspide, cualquier cosa puede pasar. Hay mucha crudeza en el contenido de esta serie. En la primera temporada y la única que he visto hasta ahora, nos muestran en primer lugar, una sociedad moderna con sistema de gobierno altamente represivos y hostiles.

En este primer panorama que presento sobre la serie y de acuerdo a lo que vi todo aparece deformado. Se parte desde una realidad contemporánea aparentemente normal pero luego, en esa misma sociedad contemporánea lo sofisticado convive con la peor barbarie del mundo. ¿Será que el futuro nos aleja de las tiranías del pasado o más bien sin darnos cuenta nos acerca con nueva apariencia? Créanme que así de tenso fue mi pensamiento con apenas diez capítulos visto.

Al principio no me fue fácil desentrañar el contenido de la historia. Estamos acostumbrados, o al menos yo, a ver estructuras lineales en cada película. Pero, cuando se trata de retrospección o un ir y venir en los tiempos, me confundo mucho. En pocas palabras, debemos prestar atención para ir hilando la trama sin perderse en el intento.

El ambiente el cual podemos ver representado en cada rostro de los personajes se describe con ese aire frío e intenso, colores opacos  llenos de suspenso y dramatismo, transmite claramente el mensaje adverso de la sociedad.

El vestuario está cargado de mucha simbología. Se ajusta perfectamente a la trama, los colores monocromáticos define a cada grupo de acuerdo al rol que le corresponde. De igual manera se percibe con la musicalización.

Unfortunately they all have to endure because they all have one thing in common, a son or daughter kidnapped by the religious regime.

En El Cuento de la Criada cada personaje, aunque no bien definida en la primera temporada, cuenta su propia historia. Se puede inferir que detrás de cada uno de ellos hay una razón y un misterio oculto.

De manera general se narra la historia de una sociedad moderna donde el régimen de gobierno religioso es totalmente inhumano. Está explícito que las clase alta tiene mayor influencia y dado su poder juegan con la vida de las personas como mejor les parece.

La religión es un punto clave dentro de la serie. Se hace creer la existencia de un Dios castigador por lo tanto, cada Capítulo y Versículo de la Biblia, debe ser interpretado literalmente a favor de los más tirano.

Aún así, dentro de ese mismo grupo social se nota la discriminación femenina. Poco a poco, en esa sociedad contemporánea, las mujeres pierden todos sus derechos. Los hombres de clase tenían los privilegios incluyendo el derecho de violar a las mujeres para deharlas embarazadas y luego quitarle a sus hijos.

Escenas de suicidios, homicidios, mutaciones, castigos crueles e inimaginables en esta sociedad moderna nos dejan sin palabras. Que se cumpla al pie de la letra cada orden para cada criada o de lo contrario les pesaría para toda la vida. Las hacían sufrir hasta el punto de hacerles perder la razón. Lamentablemente todas deben aguantar porque todas tienen un punto en común, un hijo o una hija secuestrada por el régimen religioso.

There is much to discuss in this series, so many truths, so many realities, so many cruelties and vileness of society makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. So far I have nothing to criticize about the series. 10 stars 🌟 for that first season.

It is without a doubt that movies with fight scenes are electrifying and gripping at the same time and if you happen to be anything like me, then you would find yourself imitating some moves with the actors on screen. I recall watching a movie with an interesting hand combat fight scene and while the actors were busy "fighting", I i was busy throwing punches in mid air, like I was real actor, lol.

Nevertheless, fight scenes are a great addition to movies. But so far, as much as I appreciate a good fight scene, I think fight scenes with guns are not my favourite pick except if the actor holding the gun is fierce and cute like Jason Statham. I love all his fight movies but generally, I'm into hand combats and swords. For this week's #cinetvcontest, I'll be reviewing a movie that has left an indelible impression in my heart and that movie happens to be titled Wonder woman.

Synopsis

From what I can recall, Wonder woman follows the life of a young adopted daughter of the Amazon tribe (an all women tribe) named Princess Diana. At an early age, she chose not to be pampared but to train and become an Amazon warrior like her aunt and Queen Mother. She even secretly took training lessons but was no good until her adoptive mother the queen, authorized her training.

Diana's training was the toughest and harshest so far. It was to get her to quit but little did they know that tha her determination was stronger and no matter how tough the trainings were, she would not yield. A series of events led to her leaving her home island to London with an allied spy named Steeve. Together they find ways to save humanity and put an end to the war instigated by her half brother Ares (god of war).

Favourite fight scene and why?

My favourite fight scene happens to be the exact part where Princess Diana defeats all the Amazon warriors, including her aunt who was ranked as the top Amazon warrior. . She unleashed her full potential and got to find out that she was different than the other Amazon women.

I love this fight scene a lot because she used to feel like she didn't belong and the Amazon women only respected her because of her title as princess but in that particular scene, Diana proved her abilities and earned the respect of all Amazons.

I kinda resonate with this particular scene because I know how it feels when people look down on you or think that you are not good enough or qualified enough to be this or that. Being able to shut those naysayers with your capability is truly divine and inspirational. Just like Diana, I never let anything hold me back and I surely do not allow anyone put me down just because I don't look the part to them. My determination is stronger than the voices of those naysayers.

The second fascinating thing about this fight scene is the use of different weapons like swords, ropes, spears and the likes. I think my love for fight scenes like this one was develooed in me through watching Greek fight movies like Gladiator. Sword fights are really interesting to watch and they keep my eyes glued to the screen effortlessly. I also think it is fun watching an actor slice up the villian with a long sword, lol. Those villians really stay dead that way, lol.

The entire movie Wonder woman was interesting from start to finish. I like the fact that Princess Diana is somewhat indestructible. Well not like Superman but indestructible in the sense that you can't get a bullet through her. Her iron wrists would block those bullets off smoothly and she can also create an explosion just by hitting her wrists together... that's so awesome.

I gladly rate this movie an 8/10. It is still as interesting as ever even after many years.
