I am here again to share my opinion or review of the movie I've watched recently. It's Paddington in Peru.

I know that there were two Paddington movies before this one, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch them. At first, I was hesitant to write a review on this, but I still decided to do so. Even if I only watched Paddington in Peru (the third movie), it was still very interesting and entertaining, and I think it's a different story from the two previous movies. So, I don’t think it really matters whether I’ve watched them or not.

Anyway, Paddington in Peru follows the journey of Paddington as he returns to Peru to visit his beloved aunt Lucy at the "Home for Retired Bears", with the Brown family who tagged along with him. But as they arrived there, they found out that his aunt Lucy had gone missing. Their exciting visit and thrilling adventure arose when a mystery plunged them into an unexpected journey.

Paddington and the Brown family, determined to find Aunt Lucy, head to the jungles in Peru and spring into action to find her. And as a result, they were thrown into a treasure quest that they believe will lead them to her.

The questions are, will they find Aunt Lucy, and will they find or discover some treasures? These queries will definitely be answered when you watch this film. But I can 💯% assure you that it's full of exciting adventures, and I hope that you will love it too as much as I do.

This movie is warmly delightful, smart and adventurous, it is packed with humor, charm and heartfelt messages.

It has a good message about family. It teaches us about the true meaning of home and family, and this film will surely entertain people of all ages, young kids and adults alike.

The actors are all amazingly good, and the settings were absolutely stunning. It showcases the beautiful and incredible variety of landscapes in Peru. It is simply magical, a perfect place for a story full of adventure like this.

My favorite part that really touched my heart is when Paddington asked the Brown family if he could come back home with them despite discovering his own home and roots.

This film is really heartwarming and a must-watch, so I highly recommend this to you. You'll never regret it, and you will surely love it.

Mis gustos son variados y en estos no podía faltar el romance, de ese dulce, amoroso, tierno e inocente, con estas características supongo que debes de haber pensando justo en “Kimi ni todoke” un anime y manga en estilo “shōjo”, dentro de los cuales ocupa son duda el primer puesto en mi top de este estilo.

La trama guarda nerviosismo en cada uno de sus capítulos, y en cada uno de los mismos vemos los avances de “Sawako Kuronuma” o más bien conocida como “Sadako”, apodada con ese nombre por su parecido con el personaje de la película “Ringu” o en su versión estadounidense llamada “The Ring” (El Aro). Sawako es una chica temerosa qué refleja un aura oscura y misteriosa, sin embargo por dentro es muy dulce y gentil.

The cast of the series is another point that I must highlight, where Ryan Phillippe plays Logan Maddox, an actor who has done different projects that I personally consider that he has done a very good job, remembering that the review is purely as a personal opinion. We also have Nathalie Kelley as Samantha, Michael Cimino as Zac and Melissa Collazo as Caitlyn, in addition to another group that make up the cast of the series with characters that form an important role in the story.

The cinematography that gives us an atmosphere full of adrenaline at the time of the races, youth drama and love. We also have quite beautiful locations that are shown in the series. Una trama que se puede disfrutar bastante, cuenta con una historia llena de mucha adrenalina, acción, amor, también cuenta con suspenso, lo cual la hace mucho más atractivo, pues la serie no se hace tan predecible. El padre de Zac y Caitlyn, hermano de Logan, no está en las vidas de ellos y la realidad es que al inicio no se sabe el porqué y allí entra el suspenso de la cual les hablaba. Esto último se los menciono para poder hablarles sobre el primer mensaje que nos deja la serie, que es romper con el paso, pues estos chicos deben tomar la decisión si seguir sus propios pasos y continuar con los errores que cometieron sus padres. La producción nos deja otros mensajes, pero entre lo más importante tenemos lo que es el poder de la amistad, que a pesar de que pesar de los problemas que se presentan en el camino, el apoyo entre el grupo de adolescentes demostrando la importancia de la lealtad.

The Electric State es una película que estuve esperando desde el año pasado y me lleve una decepción, además que costó como unos 300millones de dólares, no entendí que pasó porque los hermanos Russo tienen excelente películas como Infinity War y Endgame, no se si fue que se perdieron por completo cuando salieron del universo de Marvel, porque esta cosa que acaban de estrenar es básicamente un comercial gigante disfrazado de película, donde hasta Mr. Peanut aparece como personaje principal y no es broma lo que estoy diciendo, la mascota del maní, en algunos países le dicen cacahuetes aquí le llamamos maní jajajaja tiene un papel protagónico en esta historia. Al principio suena interesante un mundo alternativo donde en los 90 los robots cobran vida y se rebelan contra los humanos y después de la guerra los excluyeron y los mandaron al desierto, mientras que los humanos se volvieron adictos a una tecnología de realidad virtual que los tiene como zombies todo el día, conectados a sus dispositivos mientras robots controlados a distancia hacen todo el trabajo sucio.

No explican por qué todos los robots tienen que verse como personajes de caricatura de Disney, no explican cómo se volvieron conscientes, no explican por qué necesitan específicamente el cerebro de Christopher para hacer funcionar la tecnología cuando hay millones de otros genios en el mundo, y definitivamente no explican por qué una película ambientada en 1994 tiene tecnología que ni siquiera existe en 2025. Otra cosa terrible son las conversaciones, hay demasiados chistes forzados y no entienden que no dan risa y la parte emotiva se siente falsa, más en las escenas entre Michelle y su hermano robot porque no hay nada de química entre ellos. Ah no podía olvidarme de Woody Harrelson como Mr. Peanut es demasiado ridículo no se en que estaban pensando cuando escribieron el guión para meterlo allí.

La película es demasiado fastidiosa cuando trata de ser profunda y filosófica sobre la relación entre humanos y tecnología y hay escenas donde los personajes mencionan marcas comerciales como si fuera parte natural del diálogo y se supone que lo más interesante es una batalla gigante entre robots que se resuelve en 15 minutos después de que Michelle apaga una máquina y mágicamente todos los problemas del mundo se solucionan, la verdad es que no sé si reír o llorar jajaja. Se suponía que esta iba a ser una película de nuestra relación tóxica con la tecnología pero los hermanos Russo al parecer no lo entendieron así y la convirtieron en una película familiar llena de chistes gafos y referencias de los 90. Para completarla el final es predecible, Christopher muere porque Michelle decide desconectarlo para liberar su conciencia, todos los robots malvados se apagan automáticamente, el malo es derrotado sin mayor esfuerzo y el mundo supuestamente se vuelve un lugar mejor.

Yo le doy un 6/10 a The Electric State, Netflix tenía mucho dinero pero muy pocas ideas originales, creo que los niños si la van a disfrutar porque tiene robots coloridos y explosiones grandes, pero no creo que funcione mucho para un audlto. The special effects are great, this is something I can't deny, the robots look good and the action scenes are well done but I don't know where the 300 million went, it seems it went on CGI and paying the celebrities, because the story is a complete disaster. They don't explain why all the robots have to look like Disney cartoon characters, they don't explain how they became conscious, they don't explain why they specifically need Christopher's brain to make the technology work when there are millions of other geniuses in the world, and they definitely don't explain why a movie set in 1994 has technology that doesn't even exist in 2025. Another terrible thing is the conversations, there are too many forced jokes and they don't understand that they don't give laughs and the emotional part feels fake, more so in the scenes between Michelle and her robot brother because there is no chemistry between them at all. Oh I couldn't forget Woody Harrelson as Mr. Peanut is too ridiculous I don't know what they were thinking when they wrote the script to put him in there.

This was supposed to be a movie about our toxic relationship with technology but the Russo brothers apparently didn't get it that way and turned it into a family movie full of jokes and 90's references. To top it off the ending is predictable, Christopher dies because Michelle decides to unplug him to free his consciousness, all the evil robots automatically shut down, the bad guy is defeated without much effort and the world supposedly becomes a better place.

I give The Electric State a 6/10, Netflix had a lot of money but very few original ideas, I think kids will enjoy it because it has colorful robots and big explosions, but I don't think it works much for an audlto. It's chimbo because the premise had real potential, a post-apocalyptic world where robots fight for their rights while humans escape to virtual realities could have been a good metaphor about our current world, plus they promoted it too much but well in the end the Russo's decided to make a normal action movie with an inflated budget and a superficial message about disconnecting from technology, something that is quite ironic and makes me laugh because the movie is to watch it on a streaming platform.

Anora (2024 ), is a movie directed by Sean Baker and starring Mickey Madison as Anora, I must say it is an attempt at Pretty Woman but they are not the happy ending, but one more realistic? I must admit that the movie has some funny moments that have to do with the characters that are sort of bodyguards of this millionaire guy. The first half of the movie is insufferable, it's watching a lot of scenes of young people getting high and having sex and squandering the money they didn't work for. At the time I saw that the director said he wanted to show what things women in the prostitution trade were up against, and when I finished watching this movie I was like "This is what all these women are up against? Having a rich guy marry them and then having their parents annul the marriage? ‎I saw this show during the holy week last two month and I still have no idea why I haven't reviewed it yet. In my lifetime, I haven't really seen a lot of Kelvin Hart's movies but the ones I've seen do not fail to turn me into a laughing mess. I choke in between giggles and laughs whenever I see a show with him in it. And this one, wasn't any different. ‎ ‎I have this roommate that loves watching a lot of comedy movies and cartoons, although for some reasons she hates the kind of cartoons I watch. Which might include anime and maybe incredible and the likes but I guess everyone has their tastes. So, yes; back to the comedy movies. It's a Thursday in holy week and my roommate is hovering over me from the edge of my bed, where she stood, asking if I'd watch a movie with her. I glance at her and glance back at the novel I was reading and decide not to let that enthusiastic expression on her face fade. So I scoot to the side of my bed, leaving her room to slip in and start the movie with her. I also remembered to tell her I might sleep off during the first minutes of the movie, because I thought it wouldn't be so good. I ended up having my eyes peeled open till the end of the movie. I laughed my stomach out and my eyes watered by how much I was laughing. They're just weird and this is me being nice. ‎ ‎The movie follows four main couples, each at a different stage in love. They’re all connected through friendship, work, or just bad advice. And through it all is Cedric, played by Kevin Hart, who’s loud, divorced, and living in a hotel, pretending he’s happy to be single. ‎ ‎First, there’s Zeke. Zeke is a classic player. Smooth talker. Knows how to get a woman into bed without making promises. He meets Mya, a woman who’s done with hookups and heartbreak. Mya decides to follow the 90-day rule from the book. No sex for three months unless the man proves he’s serious. Zeke thinks he can wait her out. He flirts, takes her on dates, acts like a gentleman. But she doesn’t budge. They come close one night, heat rising between them, clothes half off, her body against his—but she stops. He’s frustrated, but something in him shifts. He starts wanting more than just sex. Hello anime lovers, I’m back with another review of an anime series. Recently, I have been watching a lot of anime related to time travel, and I’m somewhat addicted to it. I always find joy in sci-fi-related anime. But today’s anime is different. I watched this anime long ago, but I re-watched it again as I almost forgot the story. So the name of the anime series is Jujutsu Kaisen. It’s an incredible anime, and I wanted to share a glimpse with you guys.

The thumbnail is scary; I can tell already that the anime is going to be awesome. The dialogues and everything blend so well with the animation; the animation is more amazing than I recall. Mappa is on a roll; they truly deserve Studio of the Year for having such great anime. I think the trailer didn’t do the anime justice, so I would recommend watching the anime first before judging.

The story begins with a guy called Yuji Itadori. He was a simple guy, and he had friends with whom he used to hang out. They had a club where they used to call for ghosts, and in search of a haunted place, one day they discovered a box that had a finger inside it. Actually, it was cursed, and Yuji had no idea about it, but for that box, his friends were in trouble. He came to know about it through Megumi Fushiguro, who was in search of these types of things because he is a Jujutsu Sorcerer. They work to fight off spirits in order to prevent harm to humans. Yuji’s friends were in trouble because the spirits started to attack his friends, and Fushiguro told him to stay back, but Yuji meddled in because he didn’t want to lose his friends.

At one point, he ended up swallowing the cursed finger inside the box in order to save his friends. After that, Yuji became a vessel for the powerful cursed spirit, which is Sukuna. Yuji became stronger and saved his friends from the monster spirit, but in the end, he lost control as Sukuna was trying to take over his body. The story is about how Yuji struggles to survive with Sukuna inside his body and save human beings.

Well, the concept of cursed spirits and domain expansions is something unique that I have seen so far; also, the fighting styles hooked me immediately. To be honest, by the end of Season 1, I got addicted to this anime, and the character development is undeniable. Everything in this anime kept me glued to the screen. It might not be one of the perfect anime, but it’s undeniably entertaining. If you are a fan of intense battles, then this series has something special for you!

Well, Yuji, our main protagonist, was not allowed to completely dominate the anime, and that is very rarely seen. Most of the time, it is seen that his teacher, Gojo, stole the show with his mesmerizing heroic moments; many scenes can send a shiver down your spine. Even though he is a secondary character, he is still a fan-favorite character because he shines more than our protagonist. As you can see, all of the fight sequences are executed with the right usage of music and colors. This has made the anime look more watchable.

Hi movie lovers, I’ve got some news! Drum rolls….I’ve literally fallen in love with Aamir Khan movie productions. My Goodness! He’s the producer of the last movie I reviewed: “Like Stars on Earth” And many other beautiful movies like the one I’m about to review now! It’s such a masterpiece. I bet you there’s more to come as regards my future movie reviews when it comes to movies produced by Aamir Khan.

The movie I’ll be reviewing today is titled: DANGAL and it’s an Indian term for Wrestler.

PLOT SUMMARY The movie Dangal is a powerful Indian sports drama based on the real life story of Mahavir Singh Phogat. He was a former wrestler who trained his daughters to become world class wrestlers. Mahavir came from a small village in Haryana, India. It was from that small village that he emerged as a national wrestling champion with the dreams of winning gold for his country on the international stage. But due to lack of support from his family and society, he gave up wrestling to take up a normal job.

But that didn’t kill his dream of winning gold for his country. He got married and he yearned for a male child who would take up his dream and fulfill it, but he felt his dream shatter when he ended up having four daughters. Coming back from work one day, he met two boys in his house alongside their parents with the claim that his eldest daughters, Geeta and Babita had beaten them up for insulting them. Mahavir was so elated, he felt his dream coming true. And that was where the journey began.

He began training Geeta and Babita as if they were in a military zone. They woke up by 5am and when they tried making excuses because of their hair, he cut it short. The training was so hard that Geeta and Babita saw him as wicked and believed that he didn’t love them.

They suffered criticism from the village and even got teased at school. It was inevitable since that was the first time something of such was happening in the village: “girls turning to boys”.

They eventually attended a wedding secretly and when Mahavir invaded the party and gives them the dirt stare, they get scared and hide while narrating to the bride how they feel about their father’s treatment. The bride’s statement was their turning point: she told them she wished she had such a father who didn’t prepare her to be married off at an early age but craved to give her a future.

They got back home and doubled their effort and slowly, their hard work started to pay off. Geeta won state-level championships, got selected to the National Sports Academy, and eventually won gold at the Commonwealth Games. Babita also followed in her footsteps. The movie really ended on an emotional and victorious note, as Geeta finally won gold for India, thereby, fulfilling her father's dream and realizing that everything he did was out of love and belief in their potential.

MOVIE REVIEW Dangal is such a fierce movie I must say. Every scene was intense, especially the wrestling matches. I could literally feel the tension and the pressure crawling up my skin. The movie is a story about family, discipline, sacrifice and the misunderstood love of a parent. I could 100% relate to this movie because I remember how it took me years before I got to understand the reasons for my dad’s disciplinary actions and words. Geeta and Babita saw their father as controlling in the initial moments. I could feel their pain because, like me, some of us had been there too.

But as the story progresses, I began to see what Mahavir saw all along and that was potential. He saw champions in his daughters when no one else did, not even they themselves. He believed in them enough to fight society, tradition, and even their own resistance.

One emotional moment for me was when Geeta, after joining the national academy, started distancing herself from her father's teachings. She now believed she knew better now and saw her dad’s techniques as old fashioned. But after a series of defeats, she realized the value of his tough love. One night she made a call to him crying and asking for his forgiveness. It was so touching. It reminded me that sometimes, distance and experience are what it takes to understand our parents.

Aamir Khan did a good job in his role as Mahavir. Portraying the true attributes of a father with so much depth.

I would gladly give this movie a 10/10 as it does nothing but Justice to the actual objective of the story.
