Greetings! It's a pleasure to be in the #scrobble.life community for the first time. I've loved the website and have been exploring it for the past few days, and I'm ready to start using it.
I've already taken some Snaps and posted my first review via a link from a post I published reviewing a movie in the Korean Village community.
Everything went very well, so I've decided to review a movie I saw many years ago called Brokeback Mountain. I was surprised to discover that this movie is from 2005; I didn't know it was over 20 years old. When I saw it so many years ago, it was the first time I'd seen a film that portrayed love between two men, something very rare to see on screen.
It's a very well-crafted story that moves you, making you feel a bit romantic and eager for those two to consummate their love. I loved the scenery and the chemistry between the two. In my opinion, they fell in love in a surprising and romantic way.
But then you become disillusioned because there are many obstacles in their relationship and things start to get complicated.
The two young lovers are separated by very different paths; one gets married, and the other feels sad and disillusioned.
Little by little, it becomes increasingly difficult for them to see each other on the mountain where they fell in love. However, they manage to meet from time to time, but things are changing because there are many rumors that they have a secret love affair. Society doesn't accept this, and they face many problems.
The ending was very painful. I was sad about it, but I recovered afterward. The beautiful thing about the film is that it teaches you that you have to fight for the love of your life, regardless of what others think or say about you.
I used Google Translate; my native language is Spanish.
