  1. Bullet Train Explosion Review: Intense Climax, But What About the Rest?@papamogambo422d

Hello friends, I am Joy. A new movie has been released on Netflix, a Japanese movie, called Bullet Train Explosion.

Now your first question will be, will I get the movie in English? Yes, it is available in almost all languages and the English dubbing is quite good. The running length is 2 hours and 17 minutes. I will talk about how the movie was in this review.

    Bullet Train Explosion Trailer

    Story Overview

First, let me tell you the basic story—Japan, where bullet trains are very famous, as you all know. There they are introducing another new bullet train. Those who are going to go on that bullet train are very excited.

Generally, there are people from different categories among those who are going this time. For example, there are school students, and there are also political leaders. This time the train is starting its journey. Shortly after starting the journey, the higher authority of the railways, they get a call from an unknown number, and he says that there is a bomb on this train. Whenever the train speed drops below 100 km/h, this bomb will blast.

This time, the film is going to be about how the authorities there, the government there, the system there save so many lives, whether they can save them at all, and who or what did this thing.

How was the film this time?

There are several positive aspects in this film. There are also many negative aspects. This film could have been a good film. But for some reason, this film does not come across as a good film. It becomes a mediocre film.

    Positive Aspects

Now I will talk about the positive aspects of this film. First, the climax or the last 20-25 minutes of this film is breathtaking, designed in an outstanding way. If they had kept this treatment for the entire film, this film would have worked on a different level. But it does not.

But the last 20-25 minutes are breathtaking. You can't watch the movie lying down comfortably. Those thrill moments, edge of the seat moments, those things are moments of tension, but they provide you. You will wonder - what will happen now? What is going to happen to their lives till the end, that thing is very beautiful.

The way the last 20 minutes ends the story, that thing is very good. The climax is designed very well. Along with that, the performers here have done a very good job. The crew members who were on the train, the passengers who are on the journey, everyone is outstanding here.

The government official, the higher authority on that train, everyone who is working there has done a good job and each performance is very fluent in its own place, they have performed very well. They have given as much as was needed. The performance is just outstanding.

And here, not technically, the movie is well-made. Since the entire film is shot on a train—the train is moving, the problems that are coming—the way it shows those things, the look and feel is very good. It has to be said that money has been spent, and you can understand where it was spent.

Every VFX shot has been done in such a way that it looks like your original footage. Outstanding! The way the VFX has been done there, the way the lavishness has been provided to the thing, it is nice to see. You mean the whole thing gives a premium feel.

Here, we talk about various aspects of the train. Look, we mean passengers—we get on the train, we get off the train. It is not possible for us to know more about the train than this.

So since the whole incident here is about the train, rescuing these people, how the butt is doing it, what complications arise while doing it, the way these things are shown, the way the audience is shown through the entire planning—the planning that is being done in the railway higher authority office, the way it is explained like children with a small demo train—those things will be good.

Because, we do not know much about this subject. So, they can provide the basic sense or basic knowledge that is needed to watch this movie, and it is quite good to watch.

This was a fairly positive aspect.

    Negative Aspects

Now if we come to the negative aspect. As I said, the last 20-25 minutes are very good. But the tension they build up in these 20-25 minutes, the edge of the seat moment they build up, the thrill they build up, that is not the whole movie. This is an emergency situation, that emergency is not created.

Brother, it seems like people spend the first hour pretending that they can't understand whether this thing is true or false. This phone call that came, is the phone call true or false, they are taking selfies, they mean it has become news in different places around, now everyone is posting about it in their own way on social media.

I mean laughing— "Brother, we are here, look what is happening to us." Everyone is playing the game. What is happening, the urgency, that emergency, that thing is not felt at all. You think an event is happening, but its importance is so great, you can't understand that thing.

When everyone starts taking the thing seriously in the last 20-25 minutes, the movie gets better. But before that, the movie cannot provide that edge of the seat moment, that moment of tension.

And with that, whoever or whatever did this thing, they have a reason behind it. This time, that reason is not strong. Seeing that reason, you will not think that they can do such a big thing because of this. That reason is a very light reason. For which you will think—why is it such a big thing because of this?

That reason does not connect with you anywhere. And for that reason, the emotion does not come out. When will the emotion come out? When those who are doing it, they will be able to show that reason—“Yes, I had such a past, this happened to me in the past, so I was forced to take such a big step.”

But the emotion comes out. The passengers will show that seriousness, but that emotion comes out.

But here, that thing is not shown with that urgency, or it is not shown in that urgent way, for which your emotion comes out. You can't connect with those characters. The reason is that you don't feel strong that this is why it happened, brother, it had to happen. I never thought of that.

These were the positive aspects, the negative aspects.

If you ask me, it's not that it was a very good movie. Again, it's not an out of the box, must-see movie. But it's not a movie that you can throw away or never watch again, either.

It's a decent movie. If you want, you can at least watch it once in a while.

This was the review of Bullet Train Explosion. Those who have already seen it, tell me in the comments. Those who haven't seen it, go and watch it once. Don't forget to let me know how you liked the review.

It's an action comedy starring Brad Pitt, with a most suggestive supporting cast, directed by David Leitch (responsible for the first 'John Wick' or 'DeadPool 2'), and with the promise of a frenetic and fun trip aboard a bullet train in Japan. How to resist something like that?

I know, impossible, and that's why I have embarked on this (a priori) hilarious proposal, which critics have not treated too well, although it seems that the public has been more satisfied.

From the supporting cast, we can highlight a surprising Joey King (confirming that not everything is teen dramas and that he is capable of this and more), a great Aaron Taylor-Johnson, savoring the character candy he has been given (I think he should try more productions of the genre, because he's really scary), or the always solvent Hiroyuki Sanada with another memorable character.

The madness settles on a train traveling from Tokyo to Morioka. The most lethal assassins on the planet have seen their fates coincide, dangerous madmen are after a mysterious briefcase, the shadow of The White Plague hangs over them all.

Like an imitation of a good Guy Ritchie, but without overly inspired dialogues, with a penchant for excess as a flag, the confrontation between shady guys affected by mental problems is posed.

The pace does not falter, nourished by stories within stories, spectacular fight scenes, various script twists, supposedly witty retorts, jokes that lead to bigger jokes.

Combination of opposing opposing fates, twins who don't look like twins, not at all innocent girls, old men who haven't forgotten the past, professionals of chaos, a “wolf” who longs for revenge

A poisonous snake, passengers ready to help, ladies who ask for silence, speeches about karma, sleeping pills that cause unforeseen effects, bathrooms equipped with the latest technology, references to children's series, a bottle of water with capital importance for the plot. The surprise appearances of famous faces complete a product designed to be consumed and forgotten in record time.

  3. Bullet Train (film, 2022)@florenceboens958d

    Bonjour,

Génial, excellent, à couper le souffle, à voir !

    Bullet_Train_(poster).jpeg Source

    A bientôt,

    Florence

  4. A Thrilling Joyride —Review Of Bullet Train (2022)@kemmyb1113d

    Source, Fair use

An action-packed movie with an ensemble cast will get my attention every time. In this fast-paced action comedy, the presence of Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Michael Shannon and Hiroyuki Sanada means it's going to be an interesting ride! Well, I don't take trains because it's not a common mode of transportation in my country. But seeing how the whole thing works, my curiosity is piqued.

Adapted from Kōtarō Isaka’s 2010 novel titled Maria Beetle, Bullet Train (2022) is an action comedy that showcases the skill of David Leith as a stunt coordinator and filmmaker. It focuses on a former assassin code name, Ladybug (played by Brad Pitt) who fills in for another assassin by boarding a bullet train to steal a briefcase and get off along the way. He doesn't carry a gun because he's retired and recently returned from an anger management program.

    https://youtu.be/0IOsk2Vlc4o Source: YouTube

Unknown to Ladybug, the whole train is packed with trained killers and criminals armed with guns, explosives, knives, swords and a deadly snake. No one knew that a criminal boss, the White Death, had orchestrated the trip so the passengers on board would fight to the death to avenge the death of his wife.

Ladybug sets the whole show in a thrilling motion when he snatches the suitcase containing money from where Lemon and Tangerine, assassins, had hidden it. Will anyone make it out alive at the end of this journey?

    Review

Bullet Train is a delightful, fun and outrageous film. It's like this little world of crime featuring killers and assassins who are roped together in a revenge mastermind. One death becomes connected to another and another until the train is flowing with blood and dead bodies. The plot is compelling and the acting is excellent in my opinion. Themes like fate, Karma and luck are covered in this film.

For an action comedy movie of this sort, the pace should be fast and it is, which makes it exciting. The tension is palpable and the suspense is interesting. Viewers are pulled from one scene and before the dust settles are thrown into another. The visuals and cinematography make the watching experience better.

The action and fight sequences are impressive and feel original. The gore scenes are not much but the killings are grisly. It's like the director, David Leitch, regards killing and death with such fickleness that is alarming. I guess it's to bring out the humour.

The performances of the cast are simply excellent. Brad Pitt endeared hearts with his humour and his code name "Ladybug". I enjoyed the characters of Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry). They are likeable. Their chemistry is smooth and their performance is entertaining. I think the Cockney accent also adds to the delight of their acting. The surprise appearances from Ryan Reynolds and Channing Tatum took my breath away. I didn't expect it. Also, Joey King pretending to be an innocent school girl but a badass in hiding is superb.

The scene I enjoyed the most is where Ladybug gets into a fight with The Hornet. Her deaths are gruesome because she owns a boomslang snake and uses its venom as her weapon. When a victim is injected with the venom, it takes effect in 30 seconds, causing the victims to bleed from their eyes. That's harsh. So it was gratifying to watch her die from her poison.

Overall, it's a fast-paced and gripping film. The performance is great and the viewing experience is exhilarating like being on a high-speed bullet train in Japan. I'll recommend it to action film lovers.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

  5. Confused with this movie: Bullet Train [ESP/ING]@cami.rojas1157d

    ¡Hola, Comunidad de Hive!

    Hello, Hive Commnunity!

    Fuente

Lately I'm enjoying watching movies that I wouldn't have given the opportunity before, like this kind of action movies that have a quite particular kind of comedy, when this movie called Bullet Train came out, which we are going to talk about in depth today; but, before we start with plot, I have to clarify that this movie is based on a novel written by Kōtarō Isaka, called Maria Beetle in 2010.

Bullet Train is a movie that brings us the story around a high speed train that goes from Tokyo to Morioka, in it, there are 5 professional assassins who are after a mysterious briefcase of a very important person in the mafia, all will try to have this briefcase, even if they have to defend it with their lives, in addition to this, the train makes the complete journey having stops of only 1 minute.

This movie has a really simple plot, it's like those movies that you watch and literally turn off your brain for a moment, but, at the same time it's a plot that has some suspenseful touches that end up being resolved quite easily at the end; it also has like a nuance that talks about good and bad sierte, and about if this really influences our lives, for me it's not a theme that has been explained in depth in this movie, but, it's present.

Talking about the characters, I feel confused, our main character, named LadyBug is charismatic, but not that much, I feel he is interesting because he is posed as a person who is trying to be better and change certain bad things he did in the past, however, I feel he doesn't convince me too much with this storyline. We also have Limón and Mandarina, siblings dedicated to the criminal world, I like their dynamics, because we have Limón who compared people with the characters of the famous little train communication and Mandarina, who only felt worried about getting out of the train alive.

Another character is Prince, this one I didn't like at all, and don't misunderstand, I liked the work of the actress, Joey King, it was rather the construction of the character that I didn't like, I felt that he didn't contribute anything and I was constantly bothered by his motives, because basically they didn't make sense. There is also El Lobo, played by Bad Bunny, which went super viral on networks, he really isn't a character that will contribute too much to the plot, so I can't judge this appearance well.

    Fuente

If we talk about the action scenes in this movie, we will all agree that they are crazy, and that I feel it has the necessary amount to keep the viewer entertained, but, there are some scenes of this kind that are quite unrealistic and they also try to lighten the situation with jokes, which, sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. As for the visual part this movie is quite nice to watch, even though, the whole context is a train, I feel that they created different scenarios quite good to make it visually appealing.

Bullet Train is an entertaining movie, but, there is something about it that doesn't convince me, I feel it's more a matter of taste, because I feel I enjoyed it, but, I wouldn't watch it again; instead, there are movies that are entertaining and don't have great things, but they have something that make me consider watching them; with this movie it wasn't the case, I even feel it becomes a little longer, than it really is.

Finally, I can tell you that this movie represents a so-so for me, it wasn't amazing or I laughed my ass off, but, I don't feel it was extremely bad either; as I told you I think it doesn't convince me because this is not my favorite style of movie, so I would like to read your opinions in the comments, if you have already seen this movie.

  6. Bullet Train Movie Review/ Recenzja filmu@kapitanrosomak1170d

Action cinema can be subversive, it's serious like John Wick where every scene is a veritable masterpiece, but it can also be fun for the viewer to enjoy on the couch a film that has apt jokes and a fast-paced plot.

    IMG_1319.jpeg source/source.

Today I watched Bullet Train, which has a veritable waterfall of famous names (Brad Pitt in the lead) If you like Gay Richie's films and a whole host of later ones, Blood had this unconventional style, often striking out with his humor, where he balanced between comedy and action cinema, then this is the film that is somewhat similar in style, because extremely funny and extremely action-packed in other words entertaining.

    IMG_1320.jpeg

    source.

Director David Leitch screenwriter Zak Olkewicz create an interesting mix based on the book by Kôtarô Isaka. The axis of the plot is... A train and the people in it, who are trained assassins and each is tasked with finding a suitcase and delivering it to the White Death. The film is funny, the dialogues are so idiotic that more than once I started laughing during the screening.

This is one of those films that are meant to relax the viewer and provide unsophisticated entertainment to make him feel at least a little better.

Each platform brings the protagonists (who fight each other) closer to meeting the ultimate evil at the last station in Japan. In general, the idea at first may seem strongly ridiculous, but as time goes by it is more and more enjoyable to watch, and the most stealing the screening is not Brad Pitt, but two brothers who are supposed to deliver the son to the White Death, and at the same time behave as if they just got out of kindergarten :)

    IMG_1321.jpeg source.

On a big plus deserves the musical setting where the pieces perfectly fit with what we see, some songs we get to know in a new oriental version others are memorable for a long time.

The closer we get to the finale, the humor increases although the finale itself, unfortunately, in my opinion, was not presented in any interesting way, although the scene after the credits slightly compensates for the poor ending.

I recommend it because it's a film that will make you laugh and cheer for one of the characters to get the case and save his life.

A brilliantly acted film, action, where the characters are exaggerated and yet perfectly suited to this type of production, where the bad looks like bad and the good has eternal bad luck.

7/10 because the finale is unfortunately not as cool as the whole thing.

    IMG_1319.jpeg zrodlo/source.

Dziś obejrzałem Bullet Train, który posiada istny wodospad znanych nazwisk (Brad Pitt na czele) Jeśli lubicie filmy Gaya Richiego i cała rzesze późniejszych, krew miały ten nieszablonowy styl, często wybijający się swoim humorem, gdzie balansował między komedia, a kinem akcji, to właśnie ten film jest trochę podobny stylistycznie, bo skrajnie śmieszny i skrajnie pełen akcji innymi słowy rozrywkowy.

    IMG_1320.jpeg

    zrodlo.

    1) What is the reason for the villain's enmity with the incident of brutally injuring a child by throwing him off the roof? 2) Yuichi Kimura was instructed by his father to go kill the enemy in the bullet train. 3) Excellent mission named Ladybug by Maria Bettel. 4) Scene of poisonous snake news broadcast on TV. 5) Introduction of Prince's character. 6) Interesting connection with the misfortune and death of professional killer Carter. 7) The incident of The Wolf going on the bullet train to kill Carter. 8) The occurrence of so many criminals together in the same train.

Connections of the White Death with the short stories of the movie:

    1. In the beginning, a father named Yuichi is seen in the hospital suffering from his son's brutal fall from the roof, and Yuichi's father tells a passenger to kill him by giving him a bullet train ticket. It was there that Yuichi was captured by the Prince. White gets into a fight with Death.

    2. The Prince is the daughter of the White Death, who plans to kill her father inside the bullet train to escape her father's brutality, leading to a fight between father and daughter.

    3. The other side sees Maria Bettelle send Ladybug on a bullet train on one of her heist missions and is forced to fight the White Death while carrying out the heist.

    4. Two excellent body guards, Tangerine and Lemon, see White Death's son and are going to meet White Death in a bullet train with a ransom of fifteen rupees. However, they are unable to save the White Death's son and the White Death fights with them.

    5. As a silent killer, The Hornet is seen using snake venom to kill countless people. Who also killed the White Death's son in a bullet train with snake venom and was himself killed by snake venom.

    6. The White Death is a Russian fighter who asserts his power by treacherously killing a fighter's family forever. But as a result of which his loved ones had to be killed once and to take revenge for all this, he planned and brought all the characters to himself in a bullet train to kill them.

    7. The Elder Gallow is a loyal fighter working with the slain fighter, who survived the White Death attack and is on a bullet train to meet the White Death to kill the White Death.

    Movie Review:

In the movie, the White Death brilliantly planes all of his enemies on the same train and pits them against each other through excellent fighting. But the White Death did not know that his own daughter and The Elder and others were waiting for the death of the White Death. Which results in the White Death being brutally killed despite being a formidable villain. Even after so many killings in the movie, the comedy, twists and funny abt made the movie very funny. It can be said that we will see a wonderful continuation of the life of people involved in terrorist activities in the movie.

    Comment:

The movie can be called a best action comedy thriller movie of 2022. Where we will see great action as well as great comedy and funny action. Also, a nice revenge can be seen in the movie. I like the movie, those of you who haven't seen this interesting movie yet must watch it and let us know what you think in the comments.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read about the interesting movie and watch the wonderful movie.

  8. Thrillride! Bullet Train (2022), Movie Review.@esther-emmanuel1245d

    IMG_20230130_102744.jpg

I finally had the opportunity to watch the highly-acclaimed "Bullet Train" movie and I must say, it did not disappoint. The positive recommendations I had received piqued my interest, and I am glad I finally got around to watching it. The film quickly made its way into my top 10 favorite movies of 2022. It was an exhilarating experience that had me laughing so hard. The casting director behind this movie is truly a genius and a blessing. "Bullet Train" is a rare gem of a movie and I highly recommend it to anyone who has yet to see it. So let's talk about the movie.

"Bullet Train" is a 2022 American action comedy film directed by David Leitch, best known for his work on movies such as "Deadpool 2," "Hobbs and Shaw," and "Violent Night." The movie was adapted from the 2010 novel "Maria Beetle" (published as "Bullet Train" in the UK and US), written by Kōtarō Isaka. The film stars Brad Pitt in the lead role, alongside an impressive cast including Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Benito A. Martínez Ocasio, and Sandra Bullock, with a running time of 2 hours.

    Synopsis

    IMG_20230130_133605.jpg

    IMG_20230130_133355.jpg

The movie starts with a diverse group of characters boarding a bullet train in Tokyo, each with their own mission. One of the main characters, Yuichi Kimura, known as "The Father," is on a mission to find the person who attacked his son, Wataru. Another main character, "Ladybug," is an operative assigned to retrieve a briefcase full of cash from the same train. Meanwhile, there are also two English assassin brothers known as "Lemon" and "Tangerine" on the train. They have just rescued a man known as "The Son" from kidnappers and are taking him and the briefcase to his father, a Russian-born Yakuza boss called "The White Death."

    IMG_20230130_134843.jpg

    IMG_20230130_132506.jpg

As the train ride progresses, events unfold and Ladybug ends up stealing the briefcase but is then attacked by another assassin, "The Wolf," who mistakes Ladybug for one of the killers from his own wedding. Yuichi eventually finds the person who attacked his son, a young woman known as "The Prince," but she reveals that she had only pushed his son off a roof to lure Yuichi to the train as part of a plan to have him kill the White Death. To secure his compliance, a henchman is holding Wataru captive in the hospital on her behalf.

    IMG_20230130_134422.jpg

    IMG_20230130_140144.jpg

The Hornet, a mysterious assassin hiding in plain sight aboard the train, causes chaos and destruction with her trusted companion, a venomous boomslang snake. As the venom of this deadly creature rapidly spreads throughout the bloodstream, death can occur within a mere 60 seconds. With the arrival of The Hornet, the tension on the train escalates and the stakes become higher. To uncover the full story and find out what unfolds, one must watch the movie.

    The Cast.

The casting director of this film deserves the highest praise for their outstanding efforts in assembling such a talented ensemble cast. The cast is truly one of the most remarkable I have ever had the pleasure of viewing, featuring distinct and fully-realized characters who exhibit rational decision making in the face of adversity. I would like to take this opportunity to highlight a few of my personal favorites from this exceptional group.

    IMG_20230130_135044.jpg

Brad Pitt as Ladybug: Pitt delivers a commanding performance as the lead character, a highly skilled and seasoned assassin tasked with recovering a suitcase filled with money on a bullet train. His portrayal of the character is both humorous and precise, seamlessly transitioning between moments of clumsiness and calculated precision. His performance is truly fantastic and adds a unique comedic element to the film.

    IMG_20230130_132035.jpg

Sandra Bullock as Maria: Bullock's character, initially only present as a voice on the phone, ultimately proves to be a crucial element in the film as Ladybug's handler and the person who initially assigns him the mission. Her character is clever, able to anticipate events and guide Ladybug through the mission. Bullock's portrayal is subtle yet constant, her presence was felt throughout the film.

    IMG_20230130_132133.jpg

Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Tangerine: I like this guy alot! Johnson shines in his portrayal of Tangerine, the English assassin who strictly adheres to protocol. Tangerine is a charming and likable character, with his accent and style adding a touch of dark humor to the story. He is a charismatic, patient, and fearsome figure, who also shows a caring side for Lemon. The chemistry between Tangerine and Lemon is believable, making Tangerine's eventual death even more poignant.

    IMG_20230130_132225.jpg

Hiroyuki Sanada as The Elder: Saving my most favorite for the last. Sanada delivers a masterful performance as The Elder, a patriarch bent on protecting and preserving his family at all costs. His character is akin to a snake, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. His action scenes and stunts are expertly executed, and his portrayal is both stealthy and mesmerizing. He is truly one of the most remarkable characters in the film and a standout among the already exceptional cast.

    My Review And Rating.

The writers of this movie deserve recognition for their excellent work on the plot and script. Despite the fast-paced nature of the movie, they were able to delve into each character's background with ease. The dialogues were sharp and filled with wit, the storytelling was straightforward and full of unexpected twists and turns that kept audiences on the edge of their seat. The suspense and twists were masterfully crafted and added to the overall captivating narrative of the movie.

Despite being set primarily on a train, the movie's setting was dynamic and engaging, thanks to well-placed flashbacks that added depth to the characters. The visuals were stunning, bathed in a mesmerizing neon glow. The soundtrack was fitting, although it may not be as memorable outside of the film.

The action scenes and stunts in the movie are nothing short of incredible and keep the viewer on the edge of their seat with both thrills and humor. The ending is satisfying, with a scene that had me laughing so hard that I was practically choking. I couldn't get enough of it and kept re-watching the scene multiple times. Brad Pitt's performance in this movie is among the best of 2022, and I would give it a 9.5 out of 10 rating. This movie is a fantastic escape that provides laughter, stress relief, and a sense of calm. I highly recommend it to fans of comedy, action, and thrillers, but please note that it contains graphic violence and gore.

Greetings and welcome to my publication, my dear friends cine maniacs.
Next, I present you an action and suspense movie called TREN BALA, where only with the name we can imagine what it is about and where the story takes place.

This movie was released on August 3, 2022 with a duration of approximately 2 hours.

Where we will recognize Brat Pitt, the same actor who has worked in films such as Troy, The Lost City, Fury, World War Z, Megamente among others.

We will also recognize the actor Joey King, who I have seen her in only one movie called The ACT, her interpretation in that movie seemed excellent to me, although in this movie she does not stand out as a character, since she is a secondary one.

    HISTORIA

    HISTORY

The story begins with a character named Kimura (Andrew Koji), who is in the hospital because of an accident his son had, although all this implies that it was a planned accident, which leads him to a suspect called "White Death".
Desperate to get his revenge, he goes to the fastest train in the world for almost all of Japan, where he will meet the most dangerous killers in the world, unleashing a world of mysteries full of countless dangers and acting, but I do not mean the performance of the actors, but the performance of each of these killers to avoid being discovered.

    Actor's Performance.

The most annoying crazy assassins that we will find in this movie, Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry) "twin" brother of Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), together they are the most sadistic and "stealthy" assassins that have been hired to carry out a protection mission, which is to protect the son of White Death, we will know some funny scenes when these two characters appear, since they argue a lot of the time.

LadyBug (Brad Pitt) a famous unlucky assassin who was sent on a mission to get a mysterious suitcase inside the fastest train in Japan, since it is not known for sure what is inside, it is certain that he will not be alone to steal the suitcase.
Kimura (Andrew Koji), as we will also know him with the title of Father, a man who wants to take revenge on the evildoers who tried to kill his son, and who undoubtedly will have to think well about how to carry out his plans to kill the person responsible for this, as it will not be an easy task.

The Prince (Joey King) which in my opinion was the most despicable as a character, not sure which is subjective in this same train, but her face makes her look like an abused, helpless girl who tries to leave the train, but a murderer prevents her from doing so, when in reality she is the number one murderer sought by the police forces.

    imagens}.png

ONE OF THE CHARACTERS YOU WILL RECOGNIZE THE MOST.

Not only are there the characters I mentioned before, but there is also the rapper Bad Bunny, playing the role of The wolf, although we won't see him much in this movie, he will only appear in some memories of one of the assassins and in a fight against one of them.
This man will be on the train in Japan to collect his revenge, the reason for this was for the death of all his loved ones in a marriage, including the one who was to be his wife.

    imagens}.png

THE STREAK OF VERY BAD LUCK.

This movie will seem a bit strange to us, as the movie will first immerse us in the part where everything starts off well, everyone finds what they are looking for, and they act as if the mission they were given to each of the assassins.
But then it triggers a series of misunderstandings where each one of them begin to kill each other, as they can not use firearms begin to defend themselves with their fists, while others are having a cup of tea in the VIP room.

    imagens}.png

    Conclusion

In conclusion of what we can find in this film, it is a series of very unlucky streak where everything is solved with punches, bombs and endless performances and hidden characters that will leave us with the following question...

    Where did it come from?

Of course, all these assassins were hired by a group of gangsters who have taken over Japan, the acting of the characters has been pretty good, with a little drop of comedy in some scenes, otherwise, I think this movie was good, not so much, but if we want to laugh a little and be surprised with the follies of these characters, I think you should see it, personally I liked it.

  10. Bullet Train (film): I don't understand why this film is highly-rated@netflixr1285d

When I saw the cast for Bullet Train and also heard of its huge budget I was thinking to myself that this is all but guaranteed to be an amazing film. Well it took me two (nearly 3) sittings to get through it all and the only reason why I went back to it a second time was because someone online convinced me that the ending really ties things together and makes the whole story worthwhile. I've seen this in other films that I thought were boring or just poorly written in the past so I went back to finish it.... and was wildly disappointed by the time the ending credits rolled.

    Mild Spoilers ahead!

    [src](https://www.themoviedb.org/t/p/original/nF1a7P9lUq9kNas9RIvSEQ412qN.jpg)

When a film stars Brad Pitt I think it is just assumed that it is going to do well because even bad Pitt films make a ton of money. I can't think of any that lost money and for the most part, he doesn't do straight action films. In this movie it seems as though Brad, who I think is amazing, forgot how to act. There are many times in the film that he doesn't seem like a 30-year veteran of the game but more of someone that is reading his lines off of cards in the background.

One of the appeals was that this movie was going to have so many other stars and while they are in the movie, many of them do not play a very active role. I found it hilarious that Channing Tatum is in the movie, but only for around 30 seconds and he has 2 brief lines of dialogue. He also has zero effect on the storyline as does Ryan Reynolds, who was in the movie for less than 10 seconds.

    image.png src

The film does take place almost entirely on a bullet train in Japan and this limitation might be part of the reason why I didn't enjoy this movie. There is only so much you can do with a long tube and there are certain situations such as not being able to find someone else or the staff not witnessing crimes, that are really not believable. I get it, it is a work of fiction and it is based off of a Japanese action novel but some scenes such as when a staff member enters one of the cars where two people have been smashing everything and she just smiles and sells them a bottle of water, is supposed to be funny but to me it was just kind of stupid.

    image.png src

The soundtrack is good and I think that director David Leitch was going for a sort of Quentin Tarantino "Kill Bill" sort of feel to it. Unfortunately for him and for me by extension, the very limited location made this almost impossible for me to enjoy. Other action films like this also take things to an extreme and we are not meant to consider whether or not what is happening would be possible, we are just meant to enjoy it. I guess I just demand a certain level of authenticity from my films because battles, mostly involving just a few people, would not go unnoticed by the staff or authorities, especially in a city as modern and CCTV covered as Japan.

Realism aside, the dialogue in this film is meant to be poetic the likes of which we would see in a Guy Ritchie film, but it all just kind of falls flat in that it isn't funny, nor is it particularly meaningful or insightful. To this day there are a ton of lines from films like "Snatch" that I quote on a regular basis but I just watched Bullet Train yesterday and I honestly can't remember any of the dialogue.

I think that this movie was attempting to cash in on the cast because there are a ton of big stars in this but other than Brad, none of the big names have any sort of meaningful role in the story.

    image.png src

It starts out as a "snatch and grab" theft on the part of "Ladybug" (Brad Pitt) as being the only objective but it later involves half a dozen separate objectives that just happened to fall in line with the plot despite the fact that nobody actually knew for sure that certain parts of the equation were going to fall into place and there is no way that they could have. Everything just kind of happens the way that it does by coincidence. I don't know if they were going for an M. Knight sort of presentation where seemingly unimportant people or objects end up being a major piece of the story, but again, this just falls flat. We spend the whole time wondering what Channing Tatum is up to only to have him not play a part in the story at all. One of the baddies claims to have purchased all the tickets on the train, thus giving us some insight as to how it is possible that a bullet train in Japan could possibly be near empty, yet there are a few people who are still on the train - such as Channing Tatum. Was this an attempt at misdirection? It doesn't really matter because when the entire thing is said and done it was all just an over-the-top fight scent that took place over the course of a dozen train stops or so.

    image.png src

There are parts of it that are cute and fun and even parts that might bring you near tears with the emotion that is expressed, but in the end of it all we are not left with a "what an amazing story" or "I didn't see that coming" feeling but more of a "WTF did I just watch? I have no idea what just happened there" feeling.

    Should I watch it?

Of all the things I have written about on here this is one that I expect to be attacked for saying. I do NOT think you should waste your time on this movie. While not as bad as a superhero movie, the convoluted and extremely far-fetched story just goes all over the place at all times. There is no cohesive plot here other than the fact that we are obviously supposed to be rooting for Brad Pitt's character of "Ladybug." The fight sequences aren't even that good either and while I can appreciate some humor being put into the story, most of that is pretty lame as well. I'm struggling to think of any sort of redeeming qualities about it to be honest since a lot of the missing pieces are presented in an "after the fact" sort of montage way to fill in the obviously massive gaps in the story once we get to the end.

In a good story, the pieces all come together without being lead by the hand to them. There is a reason why this took me two (again, nearly 3) sittings to get through it and I guess I am just not part of the online crew of people that are all raving about how this movie is awesome because I do not agree. It made $200 million at theaters, so I would imagine that Sony is pleased.

Sorry folks, but if you liked this movie, I straight up disagree with you and think that people should spend their time on anything other than watching this :) If i had to give it a thumbs up about anything I would say that the soundtrack is pretty awesome.

50119633_m.jpg The only reason why I didn't select "stay away" is because they spent a lot of money on this and some of it is visually impressive. For me the story is too out there and coincidental for this movie to be truly high-regarded. I'm sure a LOT of people will disagree and if one of those people are you then let's talk about it!

  11. Bullet Train: Iconic master marketing film (Review) [EN/ES]@fabian981305d

Hello everyone, do you know what are the most successful advertising campaigns for a movie? For example, in the Netflix movie: Red Notice the biggest expense was in advertising and also that 3 very expensive actors were paid to act in the movie reaching a total of almost $200 million being the most expensive movie of Netflix, and of course it got its fruits since for a long time it was among the most outstanding of Netflix, with millions and millions of hours of viewing. So this teaches us that the publicity a movie has regardless of whether its plot is good or not generates a lot of money. And that is exactly what happens with Bullet Train a movie with a very good or acceptable plot, but its marketing campaigns were even better.

    image.png Source

But before we talk about how Bullet Train had an impeccable marketing campaign, let's comment a little about the plot of the movie, but, even if you understand it, it is a bit convoluted since it focuses on several points of view in one of the fastest trains in the world. 8 people or rather professional killers are on a train bound for Kyoto. They are all there because they must look for a briefcase and steal or secure it, but in reality they are pawns in a bigger game. As the main character we have LadyBug (Brad Pitt) a former professional assassin who is on a mission to steal a briefcase containing a lot of money, Yuichi Kimura (Andrew Koj) son of a yakuza who seeks revenge on someone who pushed his son off a roof and is now in a coma. There's also Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry) and Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) two brothers and stylish assassins who are on a mission to bring the briefcase to the destination. There is also Lobo (Bad Bunny) a Latino assassin and the singer's first big screen role. The Hornet (Zazie Beetz) a session of lethal poisons, Prince (Joey King) the daughter of the White Death and finally The White Death (Michael Shannon) a ruthless Russian mob assassin who took over the underworld of Japan. Throughout the film these assassins will cross each other throughout the train in a plot of dark humor, and although the main mission is to try to prevent them from stealing each other's briefcase, they will gradually discover that they are in the middle of something much bigger than they expected. If you want to know more I invite you to watch Bullet Train.

    [Source](https://www.youtube.com/@sonypictures)

Now, why is the Bullet Traen movie a masterpiece of marketing? Well because they knew how to use very well the elements they had at their disposal, first they offered a role to one of the most talked about singers today, as they say in Latin America someone who is breaking it, and this is Bad Bunny, an artist that many say that everything he touches turns it into gold, and if we look at the budget of the film that was [$90 million and the collection was $238 997 000](https://es. wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullet_Train_(pel%C3%ADcula)) almost triple, we see that the publicity that appreciates an artist that everyone follows worked perfectly. Since, if we look at the trailer, one might think that the movie is based entirely on Bad Bunny and his role as the Lobo, but no, a very big spoiler is that out of 127 minutes that the movie lasts, Bad Bunny is only in less than 5 minutes and also has one of the fastest and dumbest deaths of the whole movie. But as I said the marketing strategy worked very well.

    image.png Source

Another thing I would like to highlight about the film is the strange way it presents the plot and its many plot twists, so many that you can even get a little lost, because it starts with LadyBug trying to steal a briefcase, but then when the other assassins enter the scene the plot changes quickly, plus the twists like unexpected deaths, new characters on the scene and when it reveals all the intentions of the white death to gather these murderers on that train, really leaves you very astonished. And if that wasn't enough, the ending gives an even more unexpected twist that will leave you totally amazed.

    image.png source

This is undoubtedly one of those bizarre movies where far from being bored you are surprised by each twist and story of the character, as each and every one tells their story and how they got to that train, so it is an interesting plot in every minute. Also, the acting of each of the actors was very good, although the one that stands out the most is Brad Pitt's, who for the first time does not try to be clever, but rather is a former assassin who tries to be a pacifist, which suits him very well and is like a mockery of an actor who all his life has done action movies. Also, it features actors that we have seen in other big movies like Aaron Taylor-Johnson from movies, Brian Tyree Henry who has appeared in Joker and Eternals and actress Zazie Beetz who has also appeared in Joker, fast and furious and deadpool. So just like Red Notice you have a great cast of good actors here.

So this is my recommendation for today, if you have already seen it leave me in the comments what you thought of this movie and if you haven't seen it yet you know why I recommend it, thank you very much for watching, I hope you have a good day, see you in a next review :D

The action genre isn't something that really interests me much nowadays, and it has been like this for the past few years. I do watch the main action films produced throughout the years though, but it has come to a point where this genre isn't something I really look forward to.

Many years in the past I remember I absolutely loved this genre, but time has certainly eroded this preference of mine. Nevertheless, this doesn't mean I will skip an action production with a cool look and Bullet Train surely had one.

There were several talented members in the cast and this was the first thing that raised my interest. I read a little bit about the film and it seemed like a fun story to watch and I wasn't wrong.

Being an action film it has many fighting scenes and insane acrobatic movements but the creators did a great job mixing a little bit of comedy here and there, and the final result was very entertaining.

I totally recommend this film if you are in the mood for some fun action, this one doesn't disappoint.

  13. Bullet Train || Action and Comedy have never gone so well together.@cute-cactus1344d

I loved the character of the Ladybug played by Brad Pitt in the 2022 movie Bullet Train, which perfectly combines action and comedy.

How difficult a task can it be to get on a bullet train and get off at the first stop with the told bag? Or how funny can it be? Or how many people have to die for it?
    [source](https://www.themoviedb.org/t/p/w500_and_h282_face/meRs3boLyxBp1y2KysCGmexrGe6.jpg)
There is plenty of time to ask a lot of questions and get answers because the simple task is actually not that simple!

I watched the movie, which was a little over two hours long, with excitement and time running out quickly. It was one of the best movies in recent times that was able to stage action and comedy at the same time. It had an interesting plot that had many stories on the same train and was able to combine all the stories into one.

It was a good closing movie of the weekend for me, thanks to a progression that was a bit mind-numbing but made me laugh in most scenes.

I have already mentioned that I admired Brad Pitt's performance as the seemingly lucky but unlucky Ladybug, but the actress I liked just as much was Joey King as Prince.

    [source](https://www.themoviedb.org/t/p/w500_and_h282_face/jwz9LW0hIsQ6v7DJXgRLtWZOmzX.jpg)

In terms of the plot, thanks to the power that brings many talented assassins together on the same train and keeps the train empty by buying all the other tickets, a highly watchable production has been achieved with the life market that occurs on the train.

I forgot all my thoughts about real life in the movie where the excitement never waned. It makes you feel like a passenger on a train and triggers a constant sense of curiosity about what is going on. The director and the actors did a great job in drawing the audience into the story.

Each assassin has a strange alias.

I definitely recommend everyone to watch the movie. You can watch it without hesitation and I am sure you will have a good time. If I consider the movie as a comedy, I think it was one of the best Brad Pitt movies I've ever seen.

    [source](https://www.themoviedb.org/t/p/w500_and_h282_face/o7oyWfQxznMpMS3YZMrFsvteABe.jpg)

When I see the names of some actors in the cast of a movie, I feel like I am guaranteed to watch a good movie. Brad Pitt is one of these actors and as far as I can remember, he hasn't made a bad movie. If I have to force myself to criticize, I can only pick 12 Monkeys, but even then I can't say it was bad.

Bullet Train is a candidate to be the best movie of 2022 for me, but there are still 2 months left in the year and I am eagerly waiting for the Avatar sequel. Maybe other productions will be released and my opinion will change, but Bullet Train with Brad Pitt will still have a special place.

It's close to midnight here on the last day of the week and it was a good closing movie for me.

  14. 🚄🚄Bullet train is pure entertaiment ///Tren bala es entretenimiento puro 🚄🚄@takeru2551365d

About two days ago I finally got to see Bullet Train and whether for better or worse, I haven't had time to write a review until now. Bullet Train, or as many also know it "the Brad Pitt and Bad Bunny movie" has been an incredible surprise for me, being much more fun than I thought it would be at first.

    image.png

I love Brad Pitt and this stage of his life in which he has already established himself as an actor and seeks to make films that are more fun than dramatic, since the role of an adult tired of life almost nihilistic fits him perfectly. This, along with director David Leitch, who is Brad's friend for being one of his choreographers in stunts, and who has an incredible vision for action and comedy that can be seen reflected in Deadpool, made my wait for the film since its announcement to be just right, enough to want to see it but not as much as with other films this year.

Now, a few months before the end of the year and having already seen the film, I can easily say that it is one of the best films of the year. It is not a revolution in cinema, nor does it have an incredible story or perfect performances, but it is a film that delivers what it promises and also gives you a little bit more, which, for me, is very difficult to achieve and even more so in these times.

    image.png

The movie is hilarious, with several cameos that don't feel forced but rather like a way to make a joke, with very well done action scenes and a main character perfectly characterized by Brad Pitt, who, in my opinion, more than acting is being himself.

Meanwhile, the supporting characters are as diverse as they are charismatic. Each with a different story that converges in pure coincidence so that the overall story continues in a way that in any other story would be forced, but here from minute one we are planted in the foundations of the film how coincidence and luck play an important and almost leading role from beginning to end in this story.

    image.png

But what about Bad Bunny? I'm sure some people were reluctant to see the movie just because of the artist, but the truth is that his participation is little more than a cameo, with a character that has as much importance as a bottle of water, but is as charismatic as everyone else in the movie. Although this was an incredible marketing strategy, the truth is that the film sells itself as a very funny movie.

  15. (ESP-ENG) Bullet Train, violencia y comedia pura // Bullet Train, pure violence and comedy!@javyeslava.photo1367d

    **

Hola amigos, buenas vibras para todos.

    **

Hello friends, good vibes to all.

    Source!

I would be lying to you if this movie is not one of the ones I have wanted to see the most in recent months and the reasons for this are basically two: the great casting that this film has, because yes, the lineup of actors that participate here is very good, later we will see a little of the fact that the characters are everything in this story and the second reason is the director who is behind it, David Leitch, known for having directed John Wick, Deadpool and one of the many Fast and Furious. Putting this pair of elements together it is not too complicated to think that the result was going to be surprisingly good, quality and one that is very enjoyable from start to finish.

I will also say that there was a bit of doubt and skepticism in me when I started watching it because I felt that there were the same chances that it would be something totally insufferable, fortunately it was not and it turned out to be a film that given its nature of extreme violence, blood in abundance, very well done action scenes, some really endearing characters, a story that draws much attention and that touch of comedy that gives freshness and laughter ended up becoming one of the films that I liked the most of the year, I feel it has it all. But well, let's talk a little about this story of revenge set in ancient and modern Japan.

    Source!

To know more of this plot we have to move to the Shinkansen, the fastest bullet train in Japan and the world. On it is Ladybug (Brad Pitt) who is a hired assassin who is hired to do one last mission after having had failure after failure. The thing is, he's not the only assassin on that train, there are a rather peculiar assortment of them who all have different missions but are unknowingly related to each other. This will inevitably cause the conflicts between them all to escalate and end in a pitched battle.

At first it may be a little difficult to join the threads and ends because everything seems to be disordered but as the plot goes on we will see how all these pieces are ordered to the point that everything begins to make sense and the story becomes more and more interesting. So that you understand me a little better, within the main plot there are about 3 or 4 other stories that seem to have nothing to do but the reality is that yes, they all have a common point and that is what is discovered aboard the train. From here we will see how the action, the comedy through his dialogues with similarities and resemblances to those of Tarantino and an absurd and unbridled violence in the style of Deadpool, as I said, take center stage for a little more than two hours to make us can not take our eyes off the screen.

    Source!

We are facing a plot that forces us to be attentive because there are several angles that are constantly developing so you never lose attention and that is something I appreciate because it makes it very dynamic. There is something in this film that happens a lot and that goes hand in hand with what I just mentioned and that is that there are a lot of plot twists throughout the film that end up being crazy, they are those things that you took for granted and out of nowhere the story dismantles everything to start all over again. They happen all the time and that's something that if you know how to use and have a sense gives a big plus to the plot; I think it's one of the things I enjoyed the most, the changes of direction in the story, they are very surprising and are what make, according to me, that the whole story is so good and you end up liking the movie so much.

The action and its scenes are also on another level, the director's hand is very noticeable and there are all kinds of them. The typical melee scenes where we see Brad Pitt at the peak of his powers, the absurd ones where he uses elements that are around to carry out a senseless fight but that is incredibly attractive and addictive to watch, and the ones where conventional weapons such as guns or catanas are used. All this with the particularity that blood, visible and noticeable damage to the body and acrobatics and skills are always present. At times it can be very raw and real but automatically it stops being so to fall into the funny and comical, it may read weird but seen believe me it is not.

    Source!

    Source!

And finally we have the characters but emphasizing what we also mentioned before, the comedy factor. In the film is very noticeable references to Quentin Tarantino, I think it's because the director is a little similar in style, but yes and we see that for example in the dialogues. They are ones where the wit and personality of each character are put in evidence making us laugh genuinely with comments full of irony and even sarcasm I would say, conversations that have a path and end in another totally chaotic and crazy. It is something that at least I ended up enjoying quite a lot because I am a fan of this type of cinema, that within the "disaster" there is order. And all this is thanks to the characters who knew how to imprint that characteristic.

The cast is made up of Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Andrew Koji (I missed seeing more of him, this actor is one of the best in martial arts), Michael Shannon, Hiroyuki Sanada, Karen Fukuhara (The Boys), Bad Bunny and even Sandra Bullock, among others you will see in the film. For me it's a great casting, very varied and where each one gave his touch to the character, this makes it one of the best aspects of Bullet Train. Why do I say that? - Because in the end I think they can connect with everyone because each one has a story that despite the circumstances make them endearing, the characters are the soul of this film, without any doubt.

    Source!

But if we have to highlight a few, I think these two take the prize. Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Tangarine) and Brian Tyree Henry (Lemon), two brothers who are close within this world of murder but have a very strong, deep-rooted bond. They are funny, they are violent, they are good at what they do and they bring a familiar/sentimental touch to the plot that is sometimes needed. And well Brad Pitt who we know is an all-rounder for these types of films. He has a knack for these films because he is genuinely funny but also has the ability to deliver good and remarkable action scenes.

Anyway, a very good movie that surprised me for good, very enjoyable because it has a variety of elements that make it suitable for all kinds of audiences. I give it an 8/10 because I never got tired of it, good cinematography, a great soundtrack, great action scenes and excessive violence and a good story with its well-crafted twists. Highly recommended, it lasts a little over two hours. Here is the trailer for you to take a look.

    ***

    ***

Well my people for today s all, I hope you liked it! ¡Hugs to all, see you all in the next one!

At least within the panorama of mainstream cinema Bullet Train is one of the strangest films that have been released recently, plagued with a cast of great quality (apart from being very varied) and a gigantic promotional campaign, the beautiful visual style that the trailers hinted at as well Like the little information they revealed, had a clear objective: to arouse our curiosity, regardless of whether we eventually decided to see the film or not.

The good pedigree was here, David Leitch already had accumulated experience with amazing filmes like John Wick, Nobody, and Atomic Blonde, titles that managed to revitalize the action genre with a fairly fresh approach, something that was undoubtedly lacking in recent years.

With this and Brad Pitt at the helm, we basically have a recipe for success... The question is, does Bullet Train pull it off?

The answer it's simple: It depends on our point of view.

Bullet Train is a movie that has too many hits, but at the same time it has a couple of moments where it falters on its own premise, what many times appears to be an organic mix of comedy and action with a simple and focused plot, from time to time he gets distracted and waste his energy on developing things that don't come contribute to the overall experience, a creative and interesting decision that sometimes turns out to be good, and sometimes not.

The imposing train that serves as the setting for 95% of the film cannot help but feel like a dirty pretext for a display of imagination, adapting the 2010 dark thriller written by Kōtarō Isaka but including in its entrails a lot of voluntary and involuntary tributes to filmmakers of the stature of Guy Richie or Quentin Tarantino himself.

Its fast pace works in its favour, which generally doesn't leave us enough time to evaluate the logic of what we're observing, but it knows how to provide its own show in a very organized way.

Bullet Train is a very well done film, the dialogues are excessively dramatic but pretty entertaining, each introduced character is better than the previous one, and it has a chaotic ending where basically everything we've seen for an hour and a half makes sense.

It is not a traditional action movie, it embraces the clichés of the genre with a certain irony and despite its elegance, it cannot avoid giving more importance to style than substance, however, it is a perfect sample of everything that the modern blockbuster can represent. , uninhibited, entertaining, and without pretense of going on forever until his audience hates him.

  17. Bullet Train Review@filotasriza31368d

    image.png

I remember a month ago or maybe 2 when i was in the cinema to watch the new Thor movie, before the movie even started a trailer of Bullet train took place among others. I saw Brand Pit, a bullet train in Japan and many other actors i know and like. I said to myself though that i won't pay any money to watch that movie cause it may be a failure, i will just wait until i can download it in good analysis.

Yesterday i may have downloaded it in 1080p or Blue Ray after so many days of waiting. Truth be told it was quite an entertaining movie to watch and i suggest anyone to watch it but let's get into more detail without any major spoilers.

    Plot

    image.png

So the plot revolves around a bullet train in Japan where a couple of assassins get into everyone having their own agenda. The protagonist is called Lady Bug and is portrayed by Brand Pit. Ladybug follows the instructions of his handler and gets onboard the train. His mission is to retrieve a briefcase and get out. Ladybug seems like a guy that even though he is an assassin doesn't like that much to kill, he prefers talking when needed.

On the same train, there are 2 more assassins, Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry) and Tangerine (Aaron Taylor- Johnson) who have a mission to bring the son of the most dangerous mafia leader called White Death back to him in safety as well as the briefcase. So as you can see the briefcase is quite important.

On the same train Kimura (Andrew Koji) gets in seeking revenge that his son is in the hospital. In the first minute, he gets into a situation where he has to follow the orders of Prince (Joey King). They are also after the briefcase.

So the plot revolves around all these completely different characters, their motives of doing what they do and their plans on how they will get the briefcase and complete their mission without dying. At the same time, we get to see slowly but steadily what's going on and unravel the mystery behind the bullet train.

    What I Liked and What I Didn't

    image.png

The movie was well-structured and there was not a single time that i was bored. It was packed with either action or entertaining dialogues all along. There are many well-known actors that all have their screen time and all have different characters to portray. The fight scenes are quite good, brutal and funny at the same time and the acting is also on par with the fight scenes.

It was nice to see many of these actors like Brand Pit for example play a different role than what he used to do. He wasn't the too serious guy or the one with all the women around him. He had a completely different role, he was like a hippy assassin of some sort that also could get his ass kicked in fights, not that unbeatable 007-like special agent.

I don't have something that i did not like to be honest. I would like to see more assassins and a second movie but nothing more. Sure it isn't a movie that will have you making deep thoughts about your existence or something, it's simply a fun and entertaining movie to have a good time. Maybe as a negative, i would say that i would like to see Kimura having more action scenes as i know the actor is quite a beast!

  18. My opinion of Bullet Train with some spoilers.@nbarrios671412d

This film is a mixture of action, comedy and violence, especially makes much use of humor. It is a journey from Tokyo to Kyoto where 5 assassins will find themselves face to face with the custodian of a briefcase full of a large sum of money that will literally make them face a very explosive final part to those who survive the trip.

    Source

We see Ladybug the character played by Brat Pitt victim of what he calls bad luck is a murderer who does not enjoy violence at all and simply wants to stop being bothered and get off the train. He doesn't understand what is happening on this train and why he finds himself there with some dangerous characters he has interacted with in the past. His only mission was to steal a briefcase and get off the bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. However he must face other hired assassins and a lethal snake stolen from a Japanese zoo.

    Source

Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry) are the murderous twins who remind us a bit of John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction. Lemon has a fixation with Thomas the little train and his friends, this is a British animated children's fiction with locomotives as protagonists, this identifies the personalities of people through characters from this children's series. Tangerine is white-skinned and Lemon is black-skinned. The twins' mission is to escort the son of White Death, (leader of a dangerous criminal organization), after saving him from a Yakuza vendetta along with a briefcase containing a large sum of cash. White Death's inept son is played by Logan Lerman.

    Source

Andrew Koji is Yuichi Kimura, a former assassin seeking revenge after his son is in a coma due to his son being thrown from the roof of a building who is blackmailed by strangers to get the briefcase containing cash.

    Source

Joey King is The Prince, a young British assassin posing as a high school student, who is guilty of Kimura's son's coma, very manipulative and only in the last part of the film it is revealed who she really is.

    Source

Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio (better known as Bad Bunny), is Lobo, a Mexican criminal who wants revenge on Ladybug for ruining his life.

    Source

Zazie Beetz is The Hornet, an assassin specialized in poisons who is really guilty of the death of Lobo's whole family during a wedding and who here commits the murder of White Death's son.

    Source

Michael Shanon is White Death, a Russian gangster, who arrives in Japan and decides to start climbing the ranks of a Yakuza syndicate, until he takes over. He is responsible for hiring all the assassins inside the bullet train in order to execute a plan that will detonate high doses of action.

    Source

Hiroyuki Sanada is The Elder, a lieutenant of the Yakuza clan taken over by White Death, who was unable to stop the massacre within the organization and who saved himself and his son from the slaughter sponsored by White Death.

    Source

There is a nice cameo by Channing Tatum as a passenger on the bullet train, Ryan Reynolds makes a cameo as Carver, the assassin agent who is replaced at the last minute by Ladybug. Karen Fukuhara, (Katana in the superhero movie Suicide Squad and Kimiko in the series The Boys), is a Train Concession Girl.

    Source

Although we hear Sandra Bullock's voice for a large part of the film, (since she is Maria Beetle, Ladybug's boss who entrusts her with the mission involving the bullet train) it is at the end of the film when we finally get to see her.

    Source

The film is full of witty dialogue and violence is used to maintain a vibrant pace that sometimes moves the story forward or stops it to introduce some characters or simply to learn more about their intentions.

    Source

Throughout the journey, the reasons why there are so many killers on the train and what is the relationship between them are revealed, as well as why Ladybug gets involved in this journey, some characters die in the most unusual ways possible. At the end of the film everyone gets what they deserve.

David Leitch, the director of John Wick (A Good Day to Kill) and Deadpool 2, is behind the camera, which assures spectacular fights, action and lots of violence. The film is based on the novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka.

It is a wild and funny film where in a way the background of the story is the good and bad luck which can be a somewhat subjective topic depending on the point of view with which you look at it.

I would only give the movie a bad grade on three points:

    • I see the plot of Lobo as unnecessary, coupled with the total inexpressiveness of Bad Bunny as an actor, although I think he is in the film to attract the attention of the Latino audience.

    • Towards the end of the movie it seems like you are watching models of the train and the town flying through the air, and there is a lack of care in the special effects.

    • I think the story could have been told in less time and not in 2 hours and 8 minutes.

Overall it is a fun and enjoyable film, what they call a seasonal Blockbuster, go see it without prejudices and leaving aside logic and some brain neurons.

Thank you very much for your attention to my publication, and see you next time.
