   I saw this movie recently, and anyone who knows me also knows that whenever I talk about seeing a movie, it's always k-drama [korean drama], that's because I enjoy seeing both old and new movie series.

   Today I will be giving a review of the k-drama "DESCENDANT OF THE SUN' at first when I heard the movie title I thought it will be a movie in the south -Korean"s traditional setting, so I did download the first episode and amazed by how I it turned out, Now onto the review

   "DESCENDANT OF THE SUN" was a movie recommended to me by my coursemate during the last day of our exam, though I have heard so many k-drama fans always talking about it, I just wasn't interested in watching what someone recommended to me until I saw VINCENZO Vincenzo was mind-blowing, its that kind of movie that would keep you on your toes when you wait for the next episode to come up, After I saw that the main actor of Vincenzo and this descendant of the sun was same person, I immediately asked her to send it to me.

   Img from imdb This movie came out in 2016 and I still wonder why I didn't see it sooner, it is a romantic kinda movie, and what I love about this movie is the way in which the roles were played, the playboy soldier who fell in love with a female surgeon, but due to yoo si jin aka bigboss secret mission which he couldn't disclose to the doctor kang mo-Yeon aka beauty (female lead) whenever they were on dates and he had to leave every time without her knowing when he will be back. it is due to their profession the two couldn't progress with their love life. We also have the second main cast of this series, the deputy captain and the daughter of the commander of the army, Her father wouldn't accept her love for someone else who is not the captain, but love prevailed for them and he later agreed to them getting married.

   When the head of the hospital Kang mo-Yeon works at made advances at her she slapped him to make him know she wasn't cheap, being furious with her he decided to punish her by sending her to another country for humanitarian service, from this scene many other wonderful and interesting scene were shown, the part that made my heart beat was when captain yoo si jin went for a mission after they were back from the united state where they had their last mission before they all came this time when he went for another mission, he told Kang mo-Yeon he would be back, but that didn't happen, I was in tears at this part of the movie, in my mind, I was like they didn't end the movie well, but they settings changed when the two soldiers who worked closely together resurface and everyone was in tear just for seeing them come back alive after months of being declared dead.

   img from imdb This movie has all I want or need in a movie, interesting and it is quite captivating also. it is a good movie to see for anyone who likes k-dramas and also a little bit of action.

   Hello everyone, how are you? I hope and pray that all members of Movies & Tv Shows Community are always in good health and enthusiastic in living this life. Currently, we have entered the end of 2022 and as friends know. The end of the year is a moment for fans of films and series to get a lot of entertainment from various films and series that take place at the end of the year.

   One of the on going series that I'm currently watching at the end of this year, is Reborn Rich which is also getting high ratings. Reborn Rich is a k-drama starring Song Joong-Ki, Lee Sung Min, and Shin Byeun Him. Since I started watching and liking Korean dramas, Song Joong-Ki is one of my favorite actors, and I have watched almost all of the movies and series.

   Waiting for a new episode of Reborn Rich made me re-watch the drama starring Song Joong-Ki, one of which was that I re-watched Descendants of the Sun, the most popular Korean drama and had made people in my country become a fan of Korean dramas.

   Synopsis of Descendants of the Sun Source Picture

   Descendants of the Sun is a Korean drama that was produced and aired in 2016. For fans of Korean dramas, we know 2016 as the best year for Korean dramas. If friends want to try watching Korean dramas, some famous dramas like Replay 1988, Signal, Descendants of the Sun, Goblin, The Legend of Blue Sea etc. Since seven years since its first broadcast, Descendants of the Sun has been very memorable and has become a Korean drama that is often rewatched by many people. Descendants of the Sun was very popular then till now, I can confirm almost all the otp platforms like Netflix, Viu and iQiyi.

   Descendants of the Sun, starring Song Joong-ki, Song Hye-kyo, Jin Go, and Kim Ji Won, tells the story of the love story of two soldiers in special confinement and the problems they have to face with each partner, the premise looks very simple but very entertaining and every week, new episodes are always awaited in that era. So, why did Descendants of the Sun become a Korean drama worth watching again?

   Simple Storyline and Chemistry Cast Source Picture

   Descendants of the Sun is a romance drama genre, but the love story is wrapped in very good stories and storylines. The love story between a special army Yoo Se Jin (played by Song Joong-ki and special doctor Kang Mo-yeon (played by Song Hye-kyo) has succeeded in making the audience feel carried away, we will be carried away romantically and also smile, dissolve, feel embarrassed with their love story.

   Apart from that, the setting for the story is also very cool. Descendants of the Sun was filmed in two countries, South Korea and Greece. The way of concocting the story is also very good, Descendants of the Sun inserts the post-earthquake and virus outbreak conditions as a drama story so that it makes us very interested. This story makes us not only lulled by romantic scenes, but also about struggle and unyielding spirit. Apart from that, every now and then, we will get action scenes, shootings and inserts of humor from the supporting characters.

   Second Couple Syndrome

   If friends often watch Korean dramas with the romance comedy genre. We must often see the love story of the second couple. For me, the love story of the second couple from Descendants of the Sun looks more interesting and challenging than the love story of the main characters. Try to imagine, a male army officer with the rank of chief sergeant serving in the special army falls in love and is dating a female army doctor with the rank of first lieutenant. For information, that's quite a distance from the military rank.

   So, can you imagine how complicated the love story of this second couple is? The conditions and challenges of their love story are very interesting, apart from the relationship between superiors and subordinates. The father of the army doctor is a general who certainly doesn't want to have a non-commissioned officer in law. I think the romantic story and their love struggles are a little more interesting and challenging than the main characters.

   Happy Ending What do you think is the reason people re-watch an old drama. For me, the reason is simple because I already know the ending. I know, watching a movie or drama that has a known ending might not be liked by many people. However, I believe in life we sometimes prefer certain things, like making sure we don't get hurt or have a headache seeing the ending of the drama. Besides that, making sure the drama has a happy ending keeps us from overthinking the drama. What's more, there are many sad endings for Korean dramas that will air in 2022, or open endings.

   Descendants of the Sun ensures you get the ideal drama ending, everything is happy, all goals are achieved and it closes with a humorous scene at the end. All characters get an ideal and happy ending.

   Hello everyone, welcome to my blog.

   Here is my entry to Cine TV contest #27 - favorite medical drama.

   I love watching drama that revolves round a particular profession, it gives me the opportunity to learn more and appreciate the profession. Though some movies can exaggerate a lot, making it look like a different thing. Having little knowledge on medical line, I can easily evaluate medical movies.

   My favorite medical drama is "Descendants of the Sun", it is a Korean drama I enjoyed watching. It has 16 episodes, each episode is very interesting making you wanting to know what happens next. The movie is all about a humble Captain Yoo Shi Jin, who is in Korean Special Forces. And Doctor Kang Mo Yeon, who is a surgeon at Haesung Hospital. The two main actors were so good in their jobs, I mean they were perfect. Captain Yoo Shi Jin is a good captain, always doing his best for his team and country. While Doctor Kang Mo Yeon is a talented doctor, always doing her best in saving lives. Though she fails to become a professor due to a colleague's privileged background.

   Movie Summary

   Captain Yoo Shi Jin and his friend Sergeant Major Dae-Young caught a thief, and ended up in a hospital when the thief injured himself. He met Doctor Kang Mo Yeon for the first time, in a hospital and falls in love with her immediately. He left Doctor Kang Mo Yeon in the hospital rooftop promising to met her again. Doctor Kang Mo Yeon didn't believe he is a Captain until he entered the special forces helicopter. Doctor Kang Mo Yeon was surprised on how she suddenly miss someone she just meet.

   They met again and together they face danger in a war-torn country, where Doctor Kang Mo Yeon and her team worked as volunteer in assisting soldiers on a peacekeeping mission in the country of Uruk.

   What I love about the movie.

   I love how the doctors risked there lives to save people in war zones. Even when they lacked equipment, they were still able to sustain life for sometime before proper medical care. And, yes proper medical care. That's another thing I loved about the drama, they didn't show us that the patient recovered immediately without proper medical care. They didn't show that all of the patients they came in contact with survived, some died as well. They also showed proper medical approach for example there is a scene that a two man was badly injured, to save one the other was at risk of dieing. They didn't just give up on the man. They tried to save the man, encouraging and giving him hope. The man realized the pain he was going through, and the situation of the problem. He told them to save his colleague and leave him to face his fate.

   Another scene I love in the movie is when Dr Kang Mo Yeon saved the Arab President. She wasn't his doctor but wanted to do her best as a doctor, the Arab President men pointed gun on her as she performed the surgery. She was so brave, knowing fully well that she will be killed if the Arab President dies. She said she preferred trying risking her life to be shoot, than watching the Arab President die without doing anything.

   This movie has a lot, I recommend you to watch it. You won't regret it.

   The plot of the official website is very short as 'a blockbuster-level human melodrama that will capture the value of life through young soldiers and doctors who dream of love and success in an extreme environment in a foreign land'.

   That's because every episode a new case occurs and the situation changes.

   That's why I think I wrote a theme that runs through the work rather than a big plot.

   In fact, the 'love and success' of the plot doesn't seem right.

   Now that the drama is running again, I think that 'love and growth' is more appropriate than success.

   Anyway, let's go see the fantasy drama 'Descendants of the Sun' that swept the country in 2016 in earnest.

   

   It doesn't have any superpowers, but it's more like a fantasy

   Anyone who has seen Descendants of the Sun will admit it.

   That it is the most fantasy drama of any other drama... What is this visual and this story other than fantasy? ​ The reason why we still can't forget the Descendants of the Sun, even after 5 years, seems to be because of the addition of unusual characters and unusual stories.

   Although there were clichés, it was exquisitely deflected.

   The scenes of being in danger of dying every time but surviving rather than dying, and the scenes where the male protagonist rescues the female protagonist from a crisis are like scenes from the dramas we usually see.

   However, the main characters who thought it was a love triangle have their own lovers, and it is not the main heroine who suffers from an epidemic, but the sub-female protagonist.

   

   The cliché of loving each other but repeating the breakup due to the opposition of their parents was taken by the couple Seo Sang-sang and Lieutenant Yoon, and the couple Yu Yu-wi and Kang Seon-seon repeated their breakup due to differences in their beliefs that were not easily seen in other dramas.

   The mission of a soldier who has to kill someone to protect the country and the mission of a doctor who does his best for everything that is dying touches the heart of a devotee...☆

   

   Due to the combination of the two visual soldiers and doctors, and the series of events that took place in Uruk, this drama was nicknamed a fantasy drama.

   Some people swear that what kind of soldier speaks like that is ridiculous, but honestly, if you're going to portray the real military as it is, why would you watch a drama or a documentary?

   Even writer Kim Eun-sook called it "the best fantasy drama of my life." If it is not at the level of historical distortion, let's leave this level of fantasy for the richness of life.

   Unmissable directing and visual beauty

   I have to look at the good ones in the big place ;)

   Another factor that makes Descendants of the Sun memorable is the visual beauty.

   From the overall warm colors to the exotic scenery of Uruk in the work.

   In addition, the actors' faces, which seemed to brighten up the dull screen, made a good work better.

   Another thing that surprised me while watching the drama was the CG.

   When CG comes out in a drama, it's usually disappointing, but the CG was pretty good.

   The scene of the building collapsing in the earthquake didn't bother me too much.

   There were more moments I wanted. As a result of a search, it was said that the company in charge of CG was mainly a company that did movie CG, but again, I thought that if the pre-production and the high production cost were combined, such good results would be obtained.

   

   Is this really crazy directing?

   These days, when it is starting to get a little warmer, seems to be the perfect time to run a regular drama. Both reality and drama are set in summer, but the only difference is that there is no romance here and only in the drama...? ....OTL

   A bright, cheerful yet witty story is perfect for summer. Looking back, the seasonal background of the work also seems to have a great influence on the atmosphere.

   Just as (Descendants of the Sun) rises in summer and (Goblin) rises in winter,,,,

   Descendants of the Sun is not a one-time drama. You should see it periodically. It's like picking up rocks in front of a shipwreck and you're going back to that place.
