Hello everyone!, Crimson Fox greets you again and I give you my warmest welcome to a new post, this time to make a review and give my opinion about the fourth episode of Digimon ghost game, a chapter in which we are given valuable information and that made me worry a little bit about the Japanese children (from here I hear their cries ;-;).

This review will be a little longer than usual, so I apologize in advance; but well, without further ado, let's get started.

¡Muy buenas a todos!, les saluda nuevamente Crimson Fox y les doy mi más cordial bienvenida a un nuevo post, en esta ocasión para hacer una review y dar mi opinión acerca del cuarto episodio de Digimon ghost game, un capítulo en el que se nos da valiosa información y que me hizo preocuparme un poco por los niños japoneses (desde aquí escucho sus llantos ;-;).

Ésta review será un poco más larga de lo usual, así que me disculpo de antemano; pero bueno, sin más dilación, empecemos.

The chapter begins in a cultural school, which is making preparations for Halloween. One of the people in charge of placing the decorations finishes adding them in an area, leaves the place and while walking down the hallway began to hear a voice saying "trick or treat" while focusing multiple times to a group of pumpkin-headed dolls, calling even the man's attention, but he ignores the situation thinking it's just his imagination.

Serious mistake because one of them disappears, attacking him from behind when the person was clueless in a somewhat generic but functional sequence, dragging his body to an abandoned room, passing after this the hologram that oversees the area (Cosmo) without noticing the situation (or so it seems).

El capítulo empieza en una escuela cultural, la cual está haciendo los preparativos de Halloween. Una de las personas a cargo de colocar las decoraciones termina de añadirlas en una zona, sale del lugar y mientras caminaba por el pasillo empezó a escuchar una voz diciendo “trick or treat”, mientras se enfoca múltiples veces a un grupo de muñecos con cabeza de calabaza, llamando hasta la atención del hombre, pero ignora la situación al pensar que sólo es su imaginación.

Grave error pues una de éstas desaparece, atacándolo por detrás cuando la persona estaba despistada en una secuencia algo genérica pero funcional, arrastrando su cuerpo hasta una habitación abandonada, pasando tras esto el holograma que supervisa la zona (Cosmo) sin percatarse de la situación (o al menos eso aparenta).

The next thing we see is Ruli with a worker from the place we saw at the beginning checking the decorations that she and her friends are helping to put up, but one of them tells her that they won't be able to finish everything on time by themselves, so Ruli decides to call Hiro to help them.

Lo siguiente que vemos es a Ruli junto a una trabajadora del lugar que vimos al principio revisando las decoraciones que ella junto a sus amigas están ayudando a colocar, pero una de ellas le comenta que no van a poder terminar todo a tiempo ellas solas, así que Ruli decide llamar a Hiro para que las ayude.

Hiro is walking down the street and we see how everything has a Halloween theme, which catches Gammamon's attention, so Hiro explains to him what the holiday is about, making Gammamon get very excited and end up drawing attention to himself. After this Hiro goes into an alley and remembers that Ruli had told him he could turn Gammamon invisible, failing in the attempt and entering the digital space we saw in the first chapter, noting that nothing that happens in this space affects the real world.

(As a side note, before they enter the digital space you could still see people in the area, but when they return to the real world there is no one, magic).

Hiro va caminando por la calle y vemos como todo tiene temática de Halloween, lo que llama la atención de Gammamon, por lo que Hiro le explica en qué consiste la festividad, haciendo que Gammamon se emocione de sobremanera y termine llamando la atención. Tras esto Hiro se va a un callejón y recuerda que Ruli le había dicho que podía volver invisible a Gammamon, fallando en el intento y entrando en el espacio digital que vimos en el primer capítulo, observando que nada de lo que pase en este espacio afecta al mundo real.

(Como comentario adicional, antes de que ellos entren en el espacio digital aún se podía ver a personas en la zona, pero cuando vuelven al mundo real ya no hay absolutamente nadie, magic).

Returning to the place we see Hiro helping with the decorations together with Ruli, shortly after his friends (the two usual ones, victim 1, and victim 2) arrive to see him and introduce themselves, asking him about Gammamon and showing interest by noticing that the two don't look alike.

Volviendo al lugar vemos a Hiro ayudando con las decoraciones junto a Ruli, poco después llegan sus amigas (las dos de siempre, víctima 1, y víctima 2) para verlo y se presentan, preguntándole por Gammamon y mostrando interés al notar que ambos no se parecen.

Then we see Ruli giving Hiro several indications, who accepts without any problem, which may seem like labor exploitation or simp acting if it weren't for the fact that he mentions that he does it because it's easy (as you can tell he has nothing else to do xD).

We also see how they are getting closer, which is a good thing because they are forming a friendship within their companionship, a process that usually takes longer, or is usually bad in some cases, it's something nice, but also like they must have a lot of trusts for one to call the other out of the blue to help her with something and he accepts, haha.

Después vemos a Ruli dándole varias indicaciones a Hiro, el cual acepta sin problema, lo que puede parecer explotación laboral o simp acting sino fuera porque él mismo menciona que lo hace porque es fácil (como se nota que no tiene nada más que hacer xD).

También observamos cómo se van haciendo más cercanos, lo que es algo bueno pues se está formando una amistad dentro de su compañerismo, proceso que usualmente suele tardar más, o se lleva mal en algunos casos, es algo bonito, aunque también como que deben tenerse mucha confianza como para que una llame al otro de la nada para que la ayude con algo y éste acepte, jaja.

We see the group of Ruli's friends together with the organizer, one of them mentions that she has to look for some candles so she separates from the group (Yes, you know what that means). She goes to a warehouse where she finds the candles, but once she takes them the light goes out and she hears "Trick or treat" in the distance, which scares her and she takes one of the candles to see, finding one of the pumpkin dolls in front of her, being taken and dragged to the room at the beginning. Coming back out Cosmo in the background scrolling, oblivious to the situation (yeah, sure, credible).

Vemos al grupo de las amigas de Ruli junto a la organizadora, una menciona que debe buscar unas velas por lo que se separa del grupo (Si, saben lo que eso significa). Se va a un deposito en el que encuentra las velas, pero una vez las toma se va la luz y escucha “Trick or treat” a la distancia, lo que la asusta y toma una de las velas para ver, encontrándose uno de los muñecos de calabaza frente suyo, siendo llevada y arrastrada a la habitación del principio. Volviendo a salir Cosmo en el fondo desplazándose, ajeno a la situación (Ay ajá).

We go back to Hiro and Ruli who were walking in one of the corridors, Ruli explains the process to make his digimon invisible, which frustrates Hiro a bit because that would have saved him several problems; here the biggest question of all is answered, the biggest enigma of the series, which surely did not let much sleep (in 4 minutes), "How Ruli knew that before Hiro's smart ass? ( drum roll ), well simply put, Angoramon told him... Yes, he learned a combination of buttons after synchronizing with the digivice, (I better not question the logic of that). Hiro asks Angoramon to tell him about the digital world, to which the digimon gladly accepts.

Volvemos con Hiro y Ruli quienes estaban caminando en uno de los pasillos, Ruli le explica el proceso para volver invisible a su digimon, lo cual frustra un poco a Hiro porque eso le hubiera evitado varios problemas; aquí se nos responde la mayor pregunta de todas, el enigma más grande de la serie, el cual de seguro no dejó dormir a muchos (en 4 minutos), “¿Cómo Ruli supo eso antes que el listillo de Hiro?” ( redoble de tambores ), pues simplemente, Angoramon se lo dijo… Sí, aprendió una combinación de botones tras sincronizarse con el digivice, (mejor no cuestiono la lógica de eso). Hiro le pide a Angoramon que le hable acerca del mundo digital, a lo que el digimon acepta con gusto.

Angoramon explains to Hiro in a simplified way where digimons come from, in this case being born from an intelligent artificial virus that spread through the network, settling in a world known as "Digital World", coexisting alongside the human world, so some digimons end up in the human world from time to time and end up getting used to it; Hiro also asks him about Gammamon's digivolution, receiving the answer that it is like the growth in the digimon's natural life, but that it should not be temporary as it is in this case (we know this is thanks to the digivice); Hiro also asks about his father but does not receive an answer.

Angoramon le explica a Hiro de manera simplificada de dónde vienen los digimons, en este caso naciendo de un virus artificial inteligente que se extendió por la red, estableciéndose en un mundo conocido como “Mundo digital”, coexistiendo junto al mundo humano, por lo que algunos digimons terminan en el mundo humano de vez en cuando y terminan acostumbrándose al mismo; Hiro también le pregunta acerca de la digievolución de Gammamon, recibiendo la respuesta de que es como el crecimiento en la vida natural del digimon, pero que no debería ser temporal como lo es en este caso (nosotros sabemos que esto es gracias al digivice); Hiro también pregunta sobre su padre pero no recibe respuesta.

Again with the group of friends we see them finishing their part of the job, but victim 2 claims to have lost her phone, to which she goes, she gets separated from the group, but instead of the same thing happening this time, she sees how her partner is dragged into the room, following her thinking it's a joke (it's Halloween, it's partially understandable), but upon following him she finds a scene that must have disturbed more than one person, even to me it seemed very murky.

De nuevo con el grupo de amigas las vemos terminando su parte del trabajo, pero víctima 2 dice haber perdido su teléfono, a lo que va, se separa del grupo, pero en vez de ocurrir lo mismo ésta vez, ella ve cómo su compañera es arrastrada a la habitación, siguiéndola al pensar que se trata de una broma (es Halloween, es parcialmente entendible), pero al seguirlo se encuentra con una escena que debió haber perturbado a más de una persona, hasta a mí me pareció muy turbia.

Inside one of the spaces was Cosmo, and next to him, a Pumpkinmon slashing and carving the face of a pumpkin that covered the head of one of the girls between screams and cries, victim 2 screams and Pumpkinmon sees her, blocking her way with the pumpkin dolls, suddenly Cosmo approaches her and begins to talk to her, but his hologram begins to distort, until it becomes Pumpkinmon, trapping her without her being able to do anything. Dude, I know sometimes you go overboard with these things, but you have to remember this is a kodomo, I watched that as a kid and was traumatized. (>_<)

Dentro de uno de los espacios se hallaba Cosmo, y a su lado, un Pumpkinmon acuchillando y tallando el rostro de una calabaza que cubría la cabeza de una de las chicas entre gritos y llantos, víctima 2 grita y Pumpkinmon la ve, bloqueándole el paso con los muñecos de calabaza, de repente Cosmo se le acerca y le empieza a hablar, pero su holograma se empieza a distorsionar, hasta que se convierte en Pumpkinmon, atrapándola sin ella poder hacer nada. Amigo, sé que a veces se exagera con estas cosas, pero hay que recordar que esto es un kodomo, yo veía eso de pequeño y quedo traumado. (>_<)

After that strong moment we see how the pumpkin dolls catch several staff members in a not very "peaceful" way, I mean, dude, one was being drowned with cookies and they stunned him to take him away, leaving everyone in the aforementioned space and showing the joy of the curiously macabre Pumpkinmon.

Después de ese momento fuerte vemos cómo los muñecos de calabazas atrapan a varios miembros del staff de manera no muy “pacífica”, quiero decir, dude, a uno lo estaban ahogando con galletas y lo stunearon para llevárselo, dejando a todos en el espacio mencionado anteriormente y mostrando la alegría del curiosamente macabro Pumpkinmon.

Ruli and Hiro have been called, and they are told that several members of the team disappeared, the digiteam tries to look for clues about their whereabouts but they find nothing, they think that the members disappeared when they were alone so Mr. thousand of IQ/Angoramon concludes that they should not be separated, and as a plan, Mr. twenty thousand of IQ/Hiro proposes to be used as bait while the others watch him from a distance, so they could know what was happening without putting Hiro in a greater risk... Or at least that was the idea.

Ruli y Hiro son llamados, y se les dice que varios miembros del equipo desaparecieron, el digiteam trata de buscar pistas acerca de su paradero pero no encuentran nada, piensan en que todas desaparecieron cuando estaban solas así que el señor mil de IQ/Angoramon concluye que ellos no deben separarse, y como plan el señor veinte mil de IQ/Hiro propone usarse de cebo mientras los demás lo vigilan a la distancia, así podrían saber qué ocurría sin poner en un riesgo mayor a Hiro… O al menos esa era la idea.

They execute the plan and Hiro separates from the group while they watch him and get a little closer as he moves away; suddenly, Cosmo appears behind them and suspiciously approaches them, but he keeps going and staggers ahead of them, ending up crashing several times against a wall and short-circuiting, in the distance they see one of the pumpkin dolls leaning out, a candlemon coming out of it and fleeing from the scene, the group chases them but by the time they realize, Hiro was gone.

Ejecutan el plan y Hiro se separa del grupo mientras ellos lo observan y se acercan un poco conforme él se vaya alejando; de repente, Cosmo apareció detrás de ellos y se les aproxima de manera sospechosa, pero sigue de largo y los adelanta tambaleándose, terminando chocándose varias veces contra una pared y haciendo cortocircuito, a la distancia ven a uno de los muñecos de calabaza asomándose, saliendo de él un candlemon y huyendo de la escena, el grupo los persigue pero para cuando se dan cuenta, Hiro ya no estaba.

Hiro enters the space where Pumpkinmon's victims are located, approaching the people and Pumpkinmon coming out behind him, stumbling out of fright, an opportunity that the digimon takes advantage of to place a pumpkin on Hiro's head and tie him with it, starting to stab and carve the pumpkin's eyes in a creepy scene, showing how the knife comes within inches of Hiro's face on several occasions. Luckily Ruli, Angoramon, and Gammamon appear, the latter tackling Pumpkinmon and breaking Hiro's pumpkin in the process, proceeding to flee as the pumpkin digimon attacks them and sends its followers to capture them.

Hiro entra en el espacio en donde se hayan las víctimas de Pumpkinmon, acercándose a las personas y saliendo Pumpkinmon detrás suyo, tropezándose del susto, oportunidad que aprovecha el digimon para colocar una calabaza en la cabeza de Hiro y atándolo con la misma, empezando a acuchillar y tallar los ojos de la calabaza en una escena un poco creepy, mostrando cómo el cuchillo llega a estar a pocos centímetros de la cara de Hiro en varias ocasiones. Por suerte aparecen Ruli, Angoramon, y Gammamon, éste último tacleando a Pumpkinmon y rompiendo la calabaza de Hiro en el proceso, procediendo a huir mientras el digimon calabaza los ataca y envía a sus seguidores a capturarlos.

Gammamon wants to fight but is stopped by Ruli as he can hurt the trapped people, so Hiro introduces them all to the digital space to keep them safe, mentioning Angoramon that he looks like the digital world. We are formally introduced to the digimon with an interface similar to previous seasons, reaffirming that despite its appearance it is a very powerful digimon (a perfect one in fact, so it could have done a hell of a lot more damage than just the one shown).

Gammamon quiere pelear pero es detenido por Ruli ya que puede hacerles daño a las personas atrapadas, por lo que Hiro los introduce a todos en el espacio digital para así mantenerlos a salvo, mencionando Angoramon que se parece al mundo digital. Se nos presenta formalmente al digimon con una interfaz similar a temporadas anteriores, reafirmando que pese a su aspecto es un digimon muy poderoso (un perfect de hecho, así que pudo haber hecho muchísimo más daño que sólo el mostrado).

Pumpkinmon tells his story, relating that when he first came to the human world he was all alone, but on Halloween when he saw people with pumpkin heads being so happy, he assumed that by having his face they would be happy, and so they would be his friends (yes, evangelism is coming).

Pumpkinmon cuenta su historia, relatando que cuando llegó al mundo humano estaba totalmente solo, pero en Halloween al ver a las personas con cabezas de calabaza siendo tan felices, asumió que teniendo su cara serían felices, y que así serían sus amigos (sí, se viene evangelización).

The digiteam separates and flees from the attacks of the digimons because they alone had no chance, after losing them they return to the group to decide a strategy, which consisted of Pumpkinmon catching a decoy, with that they hoped to make time and talk to him, a plan that worked halfway, as it only increased Pumpkinmon's anger, launching his final attack on them.

El digiteam se separa y huye de los ataques de los digimons pues ellos solos no tenían oportunidad, tras perderlos vuelven a agruparse para decidir una estrategia, la cual consistía en que Pumpkinmon atrapara un señuelo, con eso esperaban lograr hacer tiempo y hablar con él, plan que funcionó a medias, ya que sólo aumentó la ira de Pumpkinmon , lanzando su ataque final hacia ellos.

But Gammamon digievolves into Betelgammamon, doing One Punch to the pumpkin, burning Pumpkinmon, and making him... Cry (?). Well, it's not like I didn't expect something like that, but it still feels like a bit of an abrupt conclusion, or at least it lets you assume that the digimon didn't want to fight since he had no evil motives as such, yet he had no problem throwing a giant pumpkin at the digiteam for revenge... Who gets it?

Pero Gammamon digievoluciona en Betelgammamon, haciéndole un One Punch a la calabaza, quemando a Pumpkinmon y haciéndolo… Llorar (?). Bueno, no es como si no esperara algo por el estilo, pero igual se siente como una conclusión un poco abrupta, o al menos que deja suponer que en realidad el digimon no quería pelear, ya que no tenía motivos malvados como tal, no obstante no tuvo problemas en lanzarle una calabaza gigante al digiteam por venganza… ¿Quién lo entiende?

Hiro clears up the misunderstanding and everything is solved by the power of friendship, Pumpkinmon learned his lesson and now has friends, the victims were released, and it seems that the scale of danger is going to rise too high in the next chapter, along with the introduction of the missing duo of the group.

Hiro le aclara el malentendido y todo se soluciona por el poder de la amistad, Pumpkinmon aprendió la lección y ahora tiene amigos, las víctimas fueron liberadas, y parece que la escala de peligro va a subir demasiado en el capítulo que viene, junto a la presentación del dúo faltante del grupo.

I liked this chapter a lot, the setting was very well done, so much so that together with the direction of the scenes make me think that they can easily leave a child having several nightmares; despite that the resolution of the conflict, although expected, left a little to be desired, it may well be that the digimon, although he has done so many bad things, did not have malevolent intentions, and although it was a perfect not so strong, it is still a stage above a champion, so the fact that his spirit has been scorched only with a flame seemed a little lazy or wasted, but to be honest, they could have done much worse, so I'll let it go a little because of the good course that the series is having and I hope it continues to have.

Éste capítulo me gustó mucho, la ambientación estuvo muy bien lograda, tanto que junto a la dirección de las escenas me hacen pensar en que fácilmente pueden dejar a un niño teniendo varias pesadillas; pese a eso la resolución del conflicto, aunque esperable, dejó un poco que desear, bien puede que el digimon aunque haya hecho tantas cosas malas no tenía intenciones malévolas, y aunque fuera un perfect no tan fuerte, sigue estando una etapa por encima que un champion, así que el que su espíritu haya sido chamuscado sólo con una llama me pareció un poco vago o desaprovechado, pero siendo sincero, pudieron haberlo hecho mucho peor, así que lo voy a dejar pasar un poco debido al buen rumbo que está teniendo la serie y que espero siga teniendo.

Hello everyone!, Crimson Fox greets you again and I give you my warmest welcome to a new post, this time to review and give my opinion about the third episode of Digimon ghost game (a little late, I know), in which we are introduced to the new member of the "team" and her partner, which let us see interesting things throughout the chapter and I would like to comment on them, so without further ado, let's start.

¡Muy buenas a todos!, les saluda nuevamente Crimson Fox y les doy mi más cordial bienvenida a un nuevo post, en esta ocasión para hacer una review y dar mi opinión acerca del tercer episodio de Digimon ghost game (algo tarde, lo sé), en el cual se nos presenta a la nueva integrante del “equipo” y a su compañero, los cuales dejaron ver cosas interesantes a lo largo del capítulo y me gustaría comentarlas, así que sin más dilación, empecemos.

The chapter begins by showing the problems of the day, scribbles appear on the photos of people, and the marked area will suffer various difficulties, which will worsen in two days. I have to mention that this part and several of the chapter comply with giving that sinister, mysterious, and a bit scary aura that the anime seems to want to transmit, in this case, both for what is shown and for the atmosphere, which seems to be something quite positive.

El capítulo comienza mostrando la problemática de turno, garabatos salen en las fotos de las personas, y la zona marcada sufrirá diversas dificultades, las cuales se agravarán en dos días. He de mencionar que ésta parte y varias del capítulo cumplen con dar esa aura siniestra, misteriosa, y un poco tenebrosa que tanto parece querer transmitir el anime, en este caso tanto por lo mostrado como por la atmósfera, lo cual me parece algo bastante positivo.

After this we jump straight to a coffee shop where Ruli and her group are, who is a bit surprised to see a message arriving in Ruli's anonymous account "Lirurun" (which has been shown in the previous chapters), the message expresses doubt about the last photo on the account, which shows the mysterious scribble on Ruli's hands, informing her about the situation, her friends are nervous, but she doesn't let herself get carried away by it and just deletes the photos thinking that it would solve the problem.

Después de esto saltamos directo a una cafetería en donde se encuentran Ruli y su grupo, las cuales se sorprenden un poco al ver que llega un mensaje a la cuenta anónima de Ruli “Lirurun” (la cual se nos ha mostrado en los capítulos anteriores), el mensaje expresa una duda acerca de la última foto de la cuenta, en la que se muestra el misterioso garabato en las manos de Ruli, informándose sobre la situación, sus amigas se muestran nerviosas, pero ella no se deja llevar por eso y sólo borra las fotos pensando que eso solucionaría el problema.

Back at Ruli's house, we see her playing the piano while she feels a presence watching her and looks out of the balcony, without finding anything, she returns and checks her phone, realizing that the photo had returned and the doodles start to act strangely, and her fingers start to disappear, starting to worry thinking about what would happen to her after 48 hours.

Ya en casa de Ruli la vemos tocando piano mientras siente que una presencia la observa y se asoma por el balcón, sin encontrar nada, regresa y revisa su teléfono, dándose cuenta de que la foto había vuelto y los garabatos empiezan a actuar de forma extraña, a lo que sus dedos empiezan a desaparecer, comenzando a preocuparse pensando en qué le sucedería pasadas las 48 horas.

The next day Ruli doesn't go to class, causing uneasiness among her friends. The next thing we see is her going to the house of one of the victims in search of answers, without success as she talks to a woman who doesn't know what to do, discouraged and overwhelmed by a hair that won't stop growing and that she fears could kill her, saying goodbye to Ruli with the discouraging idea that something worse could happen to her.

Al día siguiente Ruli no va a clases, causando intranquilidad en sus amigas. Lo siguiente que vemos es a ella yendo a casa de una de las víctimas en busca de respuestas, sin éxito pues conversa con una mujer que no sabe qué hacer, desanimada siendo abrumada por un cabello que no deja de crecer y que teme puede acabar con ella, despidiéndose de Ruli con la idea desalentadora de que algo peor puede ocurrirle.

Ruli is becoming more and more nervous, desperate, and paranoid, her time is running out and she can't find a solution. Her friend calls her and that calms her down a bit, but her friend was worried about her, so she decides not to tell her the situation and tell her that everything was fine, but after cutting the call the photo appears again on her phone, making her startle throwing her phone and even starting to cry, she goes to pick it up and sees a camera that is watching her, suspecting that she has been doing it since the photo first came out, and fleeing from there.

Cada vez vemos a Ruli más nerviosa, desesperada, y paranoica, su tiempo se agota y no halla una solución. She goes back to her house and tries to play her piano, which is impossible, frustrating her, making her tears return, leaving the balcony and screaming in search of the culprit, and with no answer, she enters the house and sinks into her pillow between cries and anguish while the digimon watches her, laughing at her and enjoying the suffering of the young girl.

Vuelve a su casa y trata de tocar su piano, lo que le es imposible, frustrándola, haciendo que regresen las lágrimas, saliendo del balcón y gritando con fuerza en busca del culpable, y sin respuesta, entra a la casa y se hunde en su almohada entre llantos y angustia mientras el digimon la observa, riéndose de ella y disfrutando el sufrimiento de la joven.

Ok, I want to comment how well achieved is Ruli's desperation and how they transmit her anguish, making you empathize with her and making you feel bad for what is happening to her, remember that this anime is focused on children and that this kind of feelings are shown in this way is something to be applauded (there are better representations, of course, but I stress, it is a kodomo, so if you are going to compare it with seinen better do not do it).

Ok, quiero comentar lo bien lograda que está la desesperación de Ruli y el cómo te transmiten su angustia, logrando empatizar con ella y haciéndote sentir mal por lo que le está pasando, recordemos que éste anime está centrado en niños, y el que ésta clase de sentimientos se demuestren de ésta forma es algo que debe aplaudirse (que hay mejores representaciones, por supuesto, pero recalco, es un kodomo, así que si lo van a comparar con seinens mejor no lo hagan).

Suddenly a message arrives on her phone, she checks it and it turns out to be a message from Hiro asking her if something strange had happened to her recently, and that if so they should meet because maybe he can help her. The two meet the next day and we see Ruli a bit irritated as if trying to hide her impatience, but Hiro's attention falls mostly on the digimon following her; Ruli explains the situation behind the camera and Hiro tells him about the digimons, introducing him to Gammamon and pointing out that he has one by his side; Ruli becomes increasingly impatient and worried, and suddenly the digimon next to her slips into the phone, coming back out in a matter of seconds making a failing gesture and starting to talk to them.

Hiro trata de explicarle la situación a Ruli y va preparando un plan, corriendo hacia su casa y pidiéndole a Ruli que lo espere. Hiro recoge uno de los digivice y se encuentra brevemente con Kiyoshirou con su participación episódica, el cual pregunta acerca del digivice de Hiro, viéndolo como un smarth watch, pero Hiro evita la pregunta y se retira.

Ruli tries to communicate with Angoramon but without getting an answer (he doesn't understand why she can't see him). Hiro arrives and makes Gammamon hold Ruli's cell phone, he tries to get Dracumon's attention by telling him that with the digivice he could materialize, making Dracumon get out of Ruli's phone and try to take the digivice, although without being able to touch it, Angoramon tries to hit him Dracumon escapes again.

Ruli takes the digivice and gets Dracumon's attention, Hiro throws him memory and gives him directions on what to do while Angoramon seeks to catch the elusive Dracumon, but the latter fights back and repossesses Hiro and Gammamon, Angoramon hitting the latter again but knocking him out in the process. Angoramon reveals that the reason why he wants to protect Ruli is that he likes to listen to her playing the piano, giving us to understand that he was the one who was watching her at the beginning, which excites Ruli, and after several consecutive requests from the digimon, she decides to materialize him, asking him to show himself instead of hiding to listen to her (xD, just xD). After this Angoramon is materialized and gives a tremendous blow to Hiro, making him react (and probably leaving him several broken bones in the process), Dracumon runs away, but now Angoramon is much faster and overtakes him, attacking him with two techniques sent by Ruli and defeating him.

Generally, I liked the chapter, I found the formal introduction of this duo to the anime very well done, and although it is not yet clear how they will develop, they have the air of being a good complement to the plot, being Angoramon the calm and wise big guy, and Ruli the human factor, curious and energetic with quite human aspects, I clarify, from what we have so far, there are already several cases in which a good female character when introduced in a group gradually loses value and starts to do things of a female character just because, so let's hope that this is not the case.

Generalmente el capítulo me gustó, me pareció muy bien lograda la introducción formal de este dúo al anime, y aunque aún no se deja ver cómo se irán desenvolviendo, tienen aires de ser un buen complemento a la trama, siendo Angoramon el grandulón tranquilo y sabio, y Ruli el factor humano, curioso y enérgico con aspectos bastante humanos, aclaro, por lo que se da a relucir con lo que tenemos hasta ahora, ya hay varios casos en los que un buen personaje femenino al introducirlo en un grupo pasa a perder valor gradualmente y a hacer cosas de personaje femenino de turno porque sí, así que esperemos que no sea el caso.

Hello everyone, Crimson Fox greets you again and I give you my warmest welcome to a new post, this time to make a review and give my opinion about the second episode of Digimon ghost game, in which we will see how the path of the series is being established a little bit following the idea raised in the first path, and I thought it was very good. So, without further ado, let's get started.

Muy buenas a todos, les saluda nuevamente Crimson Fox y les doy mi más cordial bienvenida a un nuevo post, en esta ocasión para hacer una review y dar mi opinión acerca del segundo episodio de Digimon ghost game, en el cual vamos a ver cómo se va estableciendo un poco el camino de la serie a raíz de la idea planteada en el primer camino, y realmente me pareció muy bueno. Así que, sin más dilación, empecemos.

The chapter begins with a Yokai watch style introduction, which puts us right into the theme of the anime. Then we see a tired man returning from work who is suddenly attacked by a Mummymon wrapping him in bandages and taking him away amidst screams of despair.

As we can see, the chapter started a bit strong, similar to the previous episode but more to the point.

El capítulo empieza con una introducción al estilo Yokai watch lo que nos termina de ubicar en la temática del anime. Después vemos a un hombre cansado regresando del trabajo que repentinamente es atacado por un Mummymon envolviéndolo en vendas y llevándoselo entre gritos de desesperación.

Como podemos ver, el capítulo empezó un poco fuerte, de manera similar al episodio anterior pero yendo más al punto.

Next, we are shown Hiro and Gammamon, Hiro was still tired from the events of the previous chapter but Gammamon was as usual (just as adorable xD), the latter shows traits of a little boy throughout the chapter, innocent, curious, and unaware of many things, Hiro tries to ask him some questions without any success. Gammamon is hungry so they go out to buy more food, and Hiro has to take him with him as leaving him alone would be a bit dangerous or inconvenient.

Acto seguido se nos muestra a Hiro y a Gammamon, Hiro seguía cansado por los acontecimientos del capítulo anterior pero Gammamon estaba como siempre (igual de adorable xD), éste último demuestra rasgos de niño pequeño a lo largo del capítulo, inocente, curioso, y que desconoce muchas cosas, Hiro trata de hacerle algunas preguntas sin éxito alguno. Gammamon tiene hambre así que salen a comprar más comida, y Hiro tiene que llevarlo consigo pues dejarlo sólo sería un poco peligroso o inconveniente.

Then there is a very short presentation of the mummies (what is necessary to understand the events of the chapter). We see the trio of friends from the previous chapter, and something I didn't notice in the previous chapter is that in this group is Ruri Tsukiyono, another character who will belong to the main cast, and who seems to be the leader of this group of friends. From what can be observed, Ruri can be an enthusiastic and curious person, who was looking for information about the sightings of a ghost hologram in the shape of a mummy, without success.

Después hay una muy pequeña presentación de las momias (lo necesario para entender los acontecimientos del capítulo). Vemos al trío de amigas del capítulo anterior, y algo que no noté en el capítulo anterior es que en este grupo se encuentra Ruri Tsukiyono, otro personaje que pertenecerá al elenco protagónico, y la que parece la líder de éste grupo de amigas. Por lo que se puede observar, Ruri puede ser una persona entusiasta y curiosa, la cual estaba buscaba información acerca de los avistamientos de un holograma ghost con la forma de una momia, sin éxito.

We go back to Hiro and Gammamon, we see another digimon and I found it interesting because of something I will say later, also because we will probably see several Digimons recurrently in the city beyond the main digimon of the chapter, which could lead to a series of more varied situations throughout the anime, but only time will tell. As they walk around, several people talk behind their backs about Gammamon thinking he is a holographic AI, a concept that Hiro ends up using to introduce him.

Volvemos con Hiro y Gammamon, vemos a otro digimon y me pareció algo interesante por algo que diré más adelante, también porque probablemente veamos varios Digimons de manera recurrente en la ciudad más allá del digimon principal del capítulo, lo que podría dar pie a una serie de situaciones más variadas a lo largo del anime, pero ya eso el tiempo lo dirá. Mientras ellos caminan varias personas hablan a sus espaldas acerca de Gammamon pensando que es una IA holográfica, concepto que Hiro termina usando para presentarlo.

This seems to be quite convenient (not in a bad way) and a good resource to avoid worrying too much about hiding Gammamon like in Digimon Tamers, and it makes more sense than in Adventure where they said they were dogs (I don't know how many chemical processes a dog would have to go through to look like that) since it's something that would look quite natural because of the holograms that are everywhere, so nice way to dodge a bullet.

Esto me parece bastante conveniente (no en mal sentido) y un buen recurso para evitar preocuparse mucho por esconder a Gammamon como en Digimon Tamers, y con más sentido que en Adventure en donde decían que eran perros (no sé por cuántos procesos químicos tendría que pasar un perro para verse así), pues es algo que se vería bastante natural por el tema de los hologramas que están en todas partes, así que nice forma para esquivar una bala.

After this, there is a very nice socialization scene between Hiro and Gammamon in which Gammamon feeds the digimon and we see this brotherly friendship between them grow quite naturally, we also see Hiro now and then writing down some things on his cell phone, probably to study and learn more about his companion.

Tras esto hay una escena muy bonita de socialización entre Hiro y Gammamon en la que éste alimenta al digimon y se ve crecer de manera bastante natural ésta amistad fraternal entre ambos, también se ve a Hiro cada cierto tiempo anotando unas cosas en su celular, probablemente para estudiar y aprender más acerca de su compañero.

After this Hiro reads a magazine in which the frequent appearance of Mummymon is reported, which catches his attention, and he decides to look for information about it. Following that scene we see Mummymon in the process of taking away an exhausted woman, spouting phrases with which we can assume that he wants to turn the humans he catches into mummies, but without saying why. He takes the woman to the place where he keeps the people wrapped in their bandages, telling them things like "Do not fear" and to wait for the resurrection.

Después de esto Hiro lee una revista en la se relata la aparición frecuente de Mummymon, lo que le llama bastante la atención, decidiendo buscarlo conseguir información. Siguiente a esa escena vemos a Mummymon en proceso de llevarse a una mujer agotada, soltando frases con las que se puede suponer que quiere convertir a los humanos que atrapa en momias, pero sin decir el por qué. Se lleva a la mujer al lugar en el que guarda a las personas envueltas en sus vendas, diciéndoles cosas como “No teman” y que esperen a la resurrección.

I have to remark the fact that the Mummymon is in charge of giving even more bad vibes to the situation, which I think is part of the aesthetics that the series is going to have or at least part of the tone of the series it would be funny to hear kids having nightmares because of this xD.

He de remarcar el hecho de que el Mummymon se encarga de darle aún más mal rollo a la situación, lo cual creo que forma parte de la estética que va a tener la serie o al menos parte del tono de la misma, de hecho sería gracioso escuchar a niños teniendo pesadillas por esto xD.

We return with Hiro and Gammamon who were leaving the apartment (still under repair) and on the way, they meet Nomura already discharged and talk briefly with them, likewise, Kiyoshirou appears and asks him about the window of his room, followed by his paranoia and concern and leaves. Hiro goes to the museum and waits in the bathroom for it to close so he can explore, but to his misfortune when he leaves he finds that the door to the mummies is closed, despite this Gammamon hacks the door and they manage to pass.

Volvemos con Hiro y Gammamon quienes estaban saliendo del departamento (aún en reparaciones) y en el camino se encuentran con Nomura ya dado de alta y habla brevemente con ellos, del mismo modo aparece Kiyoshirou y le pregunta acerca de la ventana de su cuarto, seguido a esto empieza con su paranoia y preocupación y se retira. "Perhaps they entered portals that made them enter a space between both worlds against their will, but the ones showed so far act quite naturally, so it's just a theory with little foundation.

Ambos se adentran a la exhibición de momias y se encuentran con Mummymon quien emergió de una de ellas, Hiro le pregunta acerca de su padre y cómo llegar al mundo digital, a lo que Mummymon responde con un “no sé”, y esto es lo que decía que me parecía interesante hace un rato, pues estos digimons se encuentran en el mundo humano pero no saben cómo volver al mundo digital, entonces entra la duda de “¿Cómo llegaron al mundo humano?” quizás entraron en portales que los hacían adentrarse en un espacio entre ambos mundos en contra de su voluntad, pero los mostrados hasta ahora actúan con bastante naturalidad, así que no es más que una teoría con pocos fundamentos.

Hiro sighs in disappointment which alerts Mummymon and traps Hiro in his bandages, immobilizes Gammamon, and returns to the place where he keeps the people he traps, Mummymon says other words again and Hiro starts to think about what is happening as a result of those words while trying to free himself without success, the wails of the people can be heard while Mummymon keeps talking until Gammamon appears and frees Hiro.

Thanks to this, the digivice reacts and makes Gammamon digivolve into Betelgammamon, in a sequence quite fast and simple but quite effective, and I liked it.

Hiro trata de hacer reaccionar a Gammamon y el digivice se activa, él empieza a nombrar los alimentos que le dio a su digimon, lo que le da fuerza a Gammamon pues quiere que esa ocasión se repita y para eso debe salvar a su amigo. Gracias a esto el digivice reacciona y hace que Gammamon digievolucione en Betelgammamon, en una secuencia bastante rápida y simple pero bastante efectiva, y en lo personal me gustó.

Thanks to the digivolution they have the strength to stop Mummymon for a moment, which gives Hiro time to make him see reason, he tells him the truth about humans and mummification, and although Mummymon was reluctant at first, after hearing everything he is stupefied, falling defeated and accepting the misunderstanding, freeing the people he had trapped. Hiro talks to Mummymon and offers him to visit hospitals to learn about modern medicine, for which the digimon gratefully leaves. The chapter ends with Hiro and Gammamon returning and on the way they see Ruri being followed by Angoramon, so we can sense (and from the preview) that in the next chapter she will play an important role, or so I hope.

Gracias a la digievolución tienen la fuerza para detener por un momento a Mummymon, lo que le da tiempo a Hiro para hacerlo entrar en razón, éste le dice la verdad sobre los humanos y de la momificación, y pese a que Mummymon se mantenía reacio en un principio, tras escuchar todo queda estupefacto, cayendo derrotado y aceptando el malentendido, liberando a las personas que había atrapado. Hiro habla con Mummymon y le ofrece visitar hospitales para que aprenda de medicina moderna, por lo que el digimon se retira agradecido. El capítulo finaliza con Hiro y Gammamon regresándose y en el camino ven a Ruri siendo seguida por Angoramon, por lo que podemos intuir (y por la preview) que en el siguiente capítulo va a cumplir un papel importante, o eso espero.

I really liked this chapter, with the base of the series already established in the first chapter, I felt that in this one they worked very well what was shown, even visually (which I already mentioned is not totally to my liking) I liked the way they showed some scenes, their colors, sequences, etc, even the digivolution animation and the "fight" animation was very well done, and I would be happy if this is maintained in the following chapters. Even so, I will try to keep my expectations low because we are still in the early stages of the series, and with digimon, unfortunately, you never know.

Éste capítulo en verdad me gustó, ya con la base de la serie establecida en el primer capítulo, sentí que en este trabajaron muy bien lo mostrado, incluso visualmente (que ya mencioné que no es totalmente de mi agrado) me gustó por la forma en la que mostraban algunas escenas, por sus colores, secuencias, etc, hasta la animación de digievolución y la de la “pelea” la sentí muy bien lograda, y estaría feliz si esto se sigue manteniendo en los siguientes capítulos. Aun así trataré de mantenerme con expectativas bajas debido a que aún estamos en el trayecto inicial de la serie, y con digimon lastimosamente nunca se sabe.

Hello everyone, Crimson Fox greets you again and I give you my warmest welcome to a new post, this time to review and give my opinion about the first episode of Digimon ghost game, the new Digimon anime that has generated several expectations since before its release. So, without further ado, let's get started.

Muy buenas a todos, les saluda nuevamente Crimson Fox y les doy mi más cordial bienvenida a un nuevo post, en esta ocasión para hacer una review y dar mi opinión acerca del primer episodio de Digimon ghost game, el nuevo anime de Digimon que ha generado diversas expectativas desde antes de su lanzamiento. Así que bueno, sin más dilación, empecemos.

The chapter begins by giving us context for what we will see during this episode and the following ones through a dialogue between students, which is an interesting way to introduce you to the world without the need for a narrator to explain everything.

El capítulo empieza dándonos contexto de lo que veremos durante este episodio y los siguientes a raíz de un diálogo entre estudiantes, lo cual es una forma interesante de introducirte en el mundo sin la necesidad de que un narrador lo explique todo.

We are given to understand that the world is set in a pseudo-futuristic society in which you will mostly find holograms here and there, and after certain incidents rumors have spread that there are "ghost" holograms that attack people (functioning similarly to the yokais of Japanese culture), and at the end of this exhibition we are shown how a student is attacked by one of these holograms in a way that may be a little strong for children (clearly the target audience), but it is not as strong as many believed from the trailers, as we are shown in a somewhat dry way how her youth is taken away from her while she gradually becomes older and older until she becomes an old woman.

After this we are shown people talking about this event and throughout the chapter, we are given small references to this, so it is clearly not something that goes under the radar, but still, people continue to attend school normally and even doubt the veracity of this event, something illogical and inconsistent and taken too naturally by people, I mean, it's not that it should be a super dramatic work, but if you want to make certain emphasis on this kind of things, no matter your target audience, you should try to maintain some harmony with what happens and the actions of the characters, otherwise everything can feel forced or unnatural.

Tras esto se nos muestra a personas hablando de este acontecimiento y a lo largo del capítulo se nos hace pequeñas referencias a esto, por lo que claramente no es algo que pase por debajo del radar, pero igual las personas siguen asistiendo a la escuela normalmente y hasta dudan de la veracidad de este acontecimiento, algo poco lógico e inconsistente y tomado con demasiada naturalidad por parte de las personas, quiero decir, tampoco es que deba ser una obra súper dramática, pero si quieres hacer ciertos énfasis en este tipo de cosas, sin importar tu público objetivo, se debe tratar de mantener cierta armonía con lo que pasa y las acciones de los personajes, de lo contrario todo puede llegar a sentirse forzado o antinatural.

Then we are shown the main character of the story Hiro Amanokawa having a normal day at school with his classmate Nomura, they talk about recent events and catch up until Kiyoshirou, the leader of the residence appears, who is shown as the character of the moment with airs of greatness (without reaching vanity) but fearful, who will be part of the protagonist trio, so I hope at least a little development on his part to avoid being stuck in that archetype.

Después se nos muestra al personaje principal de la historia Hiro Amanokawa teniendo un día normal en su escuela junto a su compañero Nomura, hablan de los acontecimientos recientes y se ponen al día hasta que aparece Kiyoshirou, el líder de la residencia el cual se nos muestra como el personaje de turno con aires de grandeza (sin llegar a la vanidad) pero miedoso, quien va a formar parte del trío protagonista, por lo que espero aunque sea un poco de desarrollo de su parte para no quedarse estancado en ese arquetipo.

Passing to the next day, Hiro is preparing breakfast, but when he calls his father he finds something strange, he had disappeared in his laboratory and had left a strange device on the floor (Digivice), leaving Hiro with him. Already at school Hiro and Nomura are called to look for some things in the warehouse, but they enter the auditorium out of curiosity, where they are attacked by the ghost hologram and Nomura's youth is taken away, and before Hiro meets the same fate, the teachers arrive, turn on the lights and that scares the ghost away (why the young people entered without turning on the lights? I have no idea).

Pasando al día siguiente, Hiro se encuentra haciendo el desayuno, pero al llamar a su padre se encuentra algo raro, éste había desaparecido en su laboratorio y había dejado un dispositivo extraño en el suelo (Digivice), quedándose Hiro con éste. Ya en la escuela Hiro y Nomura son llamados a buscar unas cosas en el almacén, pero entran en el auditorio por curiosidad, donde son atacados por el holograma fantasma y la juventud de Nomura es arrebatada, y antes de que Hiro comparta el mismo destino, llegan los profesores, encienden las luces, y eso espanta al fantasma (¿por qué los jóvenes entraron sin encender las luces? No tengo idea).

Hiro is taken home and we see how the ghost hologram looks at him with resentment for having failed in his mission; Kiyoshirou visits him when he was a bit depressed, that if he were in another demographic he should be traumatized from so many things he had to go through, but he is relatively stable, so this 12-year-old boy can either have an emotional fortitude worthy of someone who has been through worse, or he is insensitive, to say the least; his friend asks him questions, hands him a talisman, and runs away in fear.

After this Hiro hears some strange sounds and some kind of memory sticks (DIM cards) fall on him, he looks in a box and there are three of the devices that we saw a while ago, he starts to play around with it until one of the memory sticks reacts with the device and the environment around Hiro changes a little bit, a creature appears in front of Hiro (it looks like a new species of Black Tailmon) and points to another one that was nibbling some stuff under a table, he introduces himself as "Gammamon" (he's too adorable), and a pre-recorded hologram of Hiro's father appears, he briefly talks to him about the digital world and the Digimons, which are those creatures that were shown as ghost holograms; leaves Gammamon in Hiro's care as his younger brother and disappears again.

Personally, I liked the chapter, despite several of its inconsistencies I have not yet seen anything genuinely bad, I want to keep expectations at bay because we still do not know how all the elements are shown will develop in the future, and being only the first chapter I will refrain from commenting on things like the characters or the plot.

En lo personal el capítulo me gustó, pese a varias de sus incoherencias aún no he visto nada genuinamente malo, quiero tener las expectativas a raya pues aún no sabemos cómo se desarrollaran todos los elementos mostrados a futuro, y al ser sólo el primer capítulo me abstendré de opinar acerca de cosas como los personajes o la trama.

As for the technical aspects, I admit, I don't like it very much visually speaking, in that aspect you can tell that the target audience is children, so I don't expect any wonders on that side, the same with the animation that is shown quite simple, yes, the way they show the Digimon as holograms and try to make them look "scary" I like it a lot. As a side note, I really liked the opening "Faction" by the group Wienners, but I don't have much to comment on the ending.

En cuanto a los aspectos técnicos, lo admito, no me gusta mucho visualmente hablando, en ese aspecto se nota que el público objetivo son los niños, así que no espero ninguna maravilla por ese lado, lo mismo con la animación que se muestra bastante simple, eso sí, la forma en la que muestran a los digimons como hologramas y que traten de hacerlos ver “atemorizantes” me gusta mucho. Como dato aparte, me gustó mucho el opening “Faction” del grupo Wienners, pero del ending no tengo mucho que comentar.

Digimon is a franchise that in terms of anime has its ups and downs, and unfortunately, we have spent a long time without one that goes beyond the line of "bad" being an example of this Digimon Adventure 2020, an anime that started well and had an interesting premise, attracting the attention of both new audiences and most people who grew up with the original Adventure, and well, let's say it didn't do so well in the end. I want this anime to do well, like many I think it has at least an interesting concept that can be exploited, and if after all, it turns out to come to nothing, hey, at least it can't be worse than Adventure 2020, right?... Right? ;-;

Digimon es una franquicia que en cuanto a animes tiene sus altas y sus bajas, y lamentablemente hemos pasado mucho tiempo sin uno que supere la línea de “malo” siendo un ejemplo de esto Digimon Adventure 2020, anime que empezó bien y tenía una premisa interesante, llamando la atención de tanto público nuevo como mayormente de personas que crecieron con el Adventure original, y bueno, digamos que no le fue tan bien al final. La verdad yo quiero que a este anime le vaya bien, como muchos pienso que tiene un concepto al menos interesante que puede ser explotado, y si después de todo resulta no llegar a nada, oigan, al menos no puede ser peor que Adventure 2020, ¿verdad?... ¿Verdad? ;-;
