At a quick pace Gotham Knights is getting better, I would not say its great but better than how it started, the name of the TV show relates to a video game that doesnt have the best reputation but as a TV show its probably doing better, I see less backlash from review articles and rates per episode are getting better, you cant believe reviews at 100% but IMDB scores is most of the time a valid metric for me.
On this episode we see Turner crew getting more united and each one of the members playing individual roles, Robyn leading the action now with Turner next to her, Cullen demonstrates his skills as disguising others dressing as a fake rookie cop to get some records out of the police station, Harper tries to disarm a bomb although was outrun by Stephanie with a lucky shot and Duela more cruel than ever taking shots at everyone but her cruel though process keeps them ahead of local gangs plans but still not ahead of the Court of Owls.

The episode starts with Robyn acomplishing a big mile stone for her and thats get behind bars the mutants gang leader, Vernon Wagner, there are different versions of Batman, I remember this from back in the day when I was a kid and saw multiple Batman cartoons, some of the villains were clunky, slow and look dumb but someone they use to beat on Batman to the ground until he recovers and fight back, that's a usual Batman style getting almost killed to then recover, fight back and win. Similar on this episode how Vernon was slow and all brute force while Robyn was fast, smart but not as strong she ends up using her brains same as Batman to electrocute Vernon when she was basically loosing the fight.
Robyn was after Vernon for months, it was personal goal since he use to terrorize the area where she use to live.
Tonight Duela was on fire giving it to everyone on the team, just like she had nothing else to do but that's also how the Joker acts when he is bored or waiting, kill something kick something, very similar to his father.
Mayor Hamilton Hill takes the opportunity to make this look like a success for the GCPD and take all the credit.
After all the backlash from Pilot it looks like Oscar Morgan is putting more effort into Turner character, I start to notice more face expression and changes on the tone of voice when trying to change moods, this make things look more real, like he is not faking the character and trying to bring it to life.
Turner has been reading and investigating his father personal journal, the mystery is The Court of Owls, who they are, why kill Bruce, what they want and Turner is starting to get a hint from Bruce notes but he needs records from Alan Wayne murder to figure out why the Court of Owls is after the Wayne family.
After Robyn put Vernon behind bar his gang decided to attack a GCPD air craft but there is much behind the attack, btw Duelan didn't wait to mock Robyn when this happen, seems putting Vernon behind bars made thing worst in the short term.
Robyn and Turner were right, the attack on the GCPD air craft was a cover for the robbery of chemicals, they located the warehouse with the chemicals the mutant gang stolen but it was all empty vessels, meaning they already use them or have them in place some where else, their plan is rolling.
Harper is always acting over protective with Cullen, even when he has demonstrated to not be afraid to a fight or take risks, Turner wanted Alan Wayne case records and Cullen offer himself to enter the GCPD and pick up the records with an evidence transfer form, in real life this most likely wont work but hey its a fiction story, super heroes and stuff, don't be so hard.
Look at that smile and those eyes, she is the star of the show, bored with nothing to do Duela figures out things just trying to think same as her father would.
Turner and Robyn takes the plans and chemical vessels to Harper and Duela to figure out whats the mutant gang plan after thinking like a murder, like his father, how would someone use a gas bomb to kill people and at the same time feel satisfaction by doing it.
The team figure out the mutant gang is about to detonate a gas bomb at the founders gala where all Gotham City high class is reunited for the event.
In good old fashion Gotham villains style, the mutant gang enters the hall shooting to the ceiling and making jokes announcing they going to detonate a bomb if their leader is not release before 10 p.m, then they proceed to takes every ones jewelry, watches, anything of value. The mayor in panic authorize the release of Vernon even after Harvey told him not to negotiate with gangs as it sends the wrong message to other criminals but everything is political and saving his ass for Mayor Hamilton.
Turner locates Harvey at the hall without other notice and told him no matter what happens they gang is going to gas the place, so Harvey had no other option and tries to put down the mutant gang member with the trigger for the bomb before he tries to detonate it, while Harper and Stephanie where trying to disarm the bomb.
At last minute Stephanie decides to cut the remote detonator cable on the bomb and it work but this was Harper moment, Harper gets mad as fuck, she is a bit complexed and tries to take it on Stephanie because she was not the one who disarm the bomb.
After the crew got out the bomb disappear, doesn't look like Duela took the bomb since she actually took all the gala jewelry so who took the bomb?
With all the jewelry Duela took they notice many watches with the Court of Owls logo in the back, the gala was full of them without nobody knowing it.
The mayor receives a not so great surprise, he is at the back of his car and gets a coin with the Court of Owls logo, starts screaming to the driver "get us out of here" to find out the gas bomb was on the front sit.
From the three episodes this one is the best of them, with higher users rating 7.5/10, sometimes this rating could be fake as bots are used by some people and increase rating but in this case I saw the episode and can tell this is good enough to keep watching the show, actors are getting better and while the are working on Bruce case the team start to work as that, a team, each with different skill sets beating Gotham criminals, remember this are kids taking on Gotham most dangerous criminals, its a fiction story.
