Hello everyone, movie and series lovers, I hope you are feeling great today, this time, I felt like talking to you about a movie that is one of my favorites. Today I will talk about Logan. As an X-Men fan for years, I had high expectations for this movie, starring Hugh Jackman. Seeing this Wolverine once again is always interesting and exciting, the first thing that catches your attention in this new story is all the grim and post-apocalyptic tone this movie has. From the first minutes anyone will be able to feel that we are facing something totally different... the desolate environment and the atmosphere of hopelessness are caught immediately, it is interesting to see a superhero movie, out of the classic molds and dare to be more raw and realistic.
Hugh Jackman delivers again a spectacular performance and for me is the favorite interpretation of Wolverine, you can really notice the physical and emotional wear of the character in every gesture and movement.. it is really impressive to see how this Wolverine is tired and vulnerable... He is very different from the typical invincible hero we are used to, this actor manages to convey all the complexity and pain of the character in a way that easily connects with the viewers. Another thing that pleasantly surprised me is Patrick Stewart's performance as Professor X.. to see Charles Xavier in this fragile and deteriorated state is really heartbreaking, we are given some very emotional and warm moments that can certainly make you cry. The dynamic between Logan and Charles is one of my favorites in this movie... it's touching, sad, hopeful, it provokes a lot of feelings in you.

But the biggest surprise of this movie is Dafne Keen, as Laura, or also known as X-23. This young actress has an impressive screen presence, and manages to communicate a lot without needing too much dialogue, her action scenes are spectacular, and she has great chemistry with Hugh Jackman, they work perfectly. And speaking of action, Logan really raises the bar when it comes to violence and rawness... all the fight sequences are brutal and visceral, taking full advantage of the R-rating (adults only) in a very unique way. Watching this Wolverine unleashed is thrilling and disturbing at times...the film doesn't just stop at being a mindless violence fest, it has a solid and emotional story, which is the core of the film.
This whole story is an intimate and personal journey in which themes such as aging, redemption and families are explored, I really liked that it didn't fall into classic save the world clichés and focused on a more contained and personal plot. In the visual aspects this movie is also very good... the desolate photography perfectly reinforces the tone that this story has, all the desert locations and empty roads give it an air of a wild west movie, but modern... all this is really well achieved. If I had to point out a weak point, I would say that in some moments the rhythm didn't convince me, especially in the second act. There are some scenes that I feel are too long for my taste. I would also have liked to see a little more development in the antagonists, who seem to be a little flat, much more than necessary.

But these minor details in no way tarnish the great cinematic experience that is watching Logan, it manages to be an epic send-off for Wolverine and a truly mature reflection on the superhero genre. It is exciting, moving and surprisingly deep, I loved that the story was not afraid to show the dark and violent sides of this well known character... every moment of brutality feels justified and has a drastic weight within the story and within a character as complicated as Wolverine. Upon release, many were shocked at how a superhero movie can be aimed at an adult audience and work so well, and many people enjoyed seeing how the movie plays with all expectations.
While it has some cliché moments, this movie is not one of those typical ones, where they only show violence and explosions to please adults eager to see blood and guts flying. I really appreciated that they took their time to develop the characters and create emotional moments that feel genuine. The relationship between Logan and Laura is the heart of the film, seeing how this warrior slowly connects with this little girl is very touching. I found it essential to show us how even an older person with so many problems and internal conflicts can connect with the least thought of person.

Logan, for me, is a masterpiece of the superhero genre, and for a long time it was the for Hugh Jackman's performance as Wolverine. For a long time it was believed that this would be the last time the actor would step into the skin of the powerful mutant, but as many of you may know, the actor recently returned to play this iconic character alongside his great friend Ryan Reynolds in the third Deadpool movie. But well, for a long time it was believed that this ending of the character would be the last we would know of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and if that were the case, for me it would be a very worthy ending.
This movie is intense, emotional, and visually stunning... it also manages to be a complete homage to the comics it is based on, and is certainly a very mature deconstruction of the myth that superhero productions have to be aimed at kids. I give it a powerful 9.5/10 rating, it is a cinematic experience that stayed with me for a long time.... Surely many will enjoy it, I highly recommend it, even for those who are not normally fans of the superhero genre. If you are a fan of a good story, unbridled action and a story of redemption, you will certainly enjoy this story. Even if you're not an X-Men fan, this movie can touch anyone's heart...it's a testament to the power of cinema today to tell very human and moving stories, even in a slightly fantasy context, by adding realism and heart. I hope you give it a chance. Thanks for reading this review, see you in the next ones, take care, bye bye.

  2. Logan | Review [ENG-ESP]@davidpena21821d

    logan.jpgEdited in Canva

A few months ago a new movie of the X-men saga was released, which surprised me a lot and I thought that those mutants had disappeared. Undoubtedly with this new installment was again mentioned some important names of the saga of this film, which from the first to the last have provided much value, plus we are always presenting a new mutant and that fight against humans that has been one of the main problems, where many of them have powers that are very good and great impact, as well as the way it moves and are waiting for something new. I like this kind of movies that are of the action genre and are perfect to have a great time.

When this new installment came out as a continuation of X-m in apocalypse, it called my attention and I could not miss this new opportunity, many of us already know the story behind the X-men and its purpose, where the first one that came out of this saga was of great impact and the story of it was beginning and from there I started to have these productions and many of them we can find them on television. In addition, many of these X-men movies have managed to raise a lot of money and still maintain the same plot, hits, action and power to defend.

This X-men sequence has been incredible, starting in 2000 and I don't remember much of the details of this one, then over the years more versions were released and what they did was to keep the name and put something referring to the movie of that year. One of the ones I liked the most was X-men: First Generation and others that are of great impact and very good. From there I got lost a little bit and a year later they came back again and came to this one known as Logan and that way I could relive that action, adventure and see how this production could end, highlighting that a person with the responsibility of taking care of someone will give everything until the last second.

This new installment the first thing that caught my attention is the name, since it is the same as the protagonist, which for that part I like, since the story makes more emphasis on him, which we all know as Hugh Jackman, where he maintains the same way of doing things with his claws, however, this time he has a few years of age on top and we wonder if age will affect him, will he have the same strength, as he always has that mentality to defend and now has a very deadly enemy and a weakness. We can also notice a very modern setting, more colorful and above all a message that will be in the film.

Other things that I liked and if we compare it with the other films are the movements and have achieved a very big change, which this new installment of Logan are more realistic and can create a great impact with viewers and be attentive to what will be the next thing that will have to do our protagonist of the same. In addition, we can notice and with point of attraction is that there will be a small young girl, being the daughter of Logan and has the same claws, strength and powers, which surprised me and that gives us to understand that this saga of X-men will continue.

The characters in this movie are very good and each one puts a great touch and performance to it especially the man who has been in all the X-men movies being Hugh Jackman, who despite the years and the difficulties that this presents does not let anyone stop him, he fights and does not give up until he leaves everything safe and even more with the responsibility of having to defend the professor and his little daughter, which is very good and I thought she would be defenseless, but it turns out to be more dangerous than it appears, therefore, each character does it in a very good way.

    Source

A franchise that will not stop presenting new movies and thus continue to create new mutants each time, where you leave us many things unresolved and now that the generation of children is coming, it is something to admire and see what they will surprise us with. Beyond that, I liked this new installment very much and it made me remember very good moments, highlighting very good things, especially the love and affection that you have for a person will always be very big.

A man's bravery comes to the fore when his loved ones are in danger.

Hello friends movie lovers, I hope you are all well and that you have been able to enjoy many movies these days.

Today I come to share with you a movie that has left me surprised, showing something new that I had never seen before in the previous installments of our beloved man with saber claws Wolverine, of the X-men, an immortal man with a very bloodthirsty fighting ability.

This movie has the name "Logan", the same name of the main protagonist played by Hugh Jackman, a man who although not apparent carries with him thousands of years of age, since his amazing regenerative ability and his adamantium bones has made him a practically immortal being.

But due to the dangers he has faced for thousands of years, his body and his ability begins to react strangely, where a poison or virus begins to affect all the senses of our dear friend Logan.

Finally discovering his only weakness, being hit by the same material that his claws are made of, causing him to age with the passage of time.

The story once again is about our good friend Logan, who has a mission, to protect Charles Xavier, the same professor "X" played by actor Patrick Stewart.

In this film he is very old and can not fend for himself, where Logan has to keep him, and even sedated by a disease that Charles has, since his ability to manipulate the minds of people has made him a very powerful and dangerous weapon for society, sometimes we see how this is in a trance state where he stuns the minds of all humans and mutants.

One of the things that impressed me a lot about this movie, is that Logan has a daughter, something he didn't even know he had or that he could have a family, because due to the bad experiences of the past, Logan can't have a family because of the dangers he faces every day.

The abilities of Logan's daughter named Laura Kinney played by actress Dafne Keen, are very similar to those of his father, but has 2 things that make it different, the first is that instead of getting 3 claws like his father, this only gets 2, but his feet get a claw to defend themselves from attackers, and as they did experiments has the same adamantium claws that Logan.

Logan has the duty to protect his daughter with his life until she crosses the border so that the people who made many experiments with her, return to capture her.

The dangers that Logan faces this time are more dangerous, and the story is a little depressing at the end, but it culminates very well for being a character that can never see an end due to his immortality.

I had a long time without seeing one of these superhero or mutant movies, stories that focus you from the first minute and keep you there without moving from that place.

I'm surprised to see how it all ended with Wolverine and the X-MEN, it was supposed to be a great school of mutants and they all work together so mutants and regular humans can live in harmony, so that was the only thing that disappointed me, but otherwise it has a story that leaves you satisfied.

If there was something that made me laugh a little bit in this movie, it is that Laura Kinney has the same attitudes and personality of her father, a bitter and self-confident man who doesn't allow orders, much less allow one of his own to be harmed.

The story of this man from beginning to end is very impressive, an immortal being who lives his normal life like any other human being, losing his loved ones over the years and although his wounds heal quickly, the wounds in his heart and brain linger for thousands of years.

If you have not yet seen this movie I recommend you to watch it, but if it is the first time you meet this character, it would be best if you watch the beginning of his story until you get to this installment, otherwise you will feel very confused and you will not understand him at all.

Unsurprisingly, this movie had a very good critical acclaim on Rotten Tomatoes, it has a critical acclaim score of 93% and an overall audience acceptance of 90%, which is not surprising because almost all of their movies are amazing.

The movie is available on Disney Plus.

In my personal opinion I give it 4 stars out of 5, the story is very complete from beginning to end, although it has moments where you will wonder why the end of the X-MEN and why only Logan was left as a member of the group having Charles as the mastermind behind all this great school of mutants, but I still need to see movies to understand it 100%, there are things I remember from the first installments, but to answer the why of things, I must see the previous installments.

Hello, how are you all? Happy New Year 2023 dear all friends. Wolverine is one of the great protagonists of the X-Men series, who we've seen in previous installments. We also saw that Wolverine time-traveled back to the present to right some of the wrongs of the past, and as a result we see everyone in both timelines in the present.

Following on from what we saw in the last episode, Stryker performed an experiment on Wolverine and Wolverine was rescued from it. In continuation of that, we will see Wolverine in today's episode as Charles' protector and son. Although Wolverine tries hard, he can't save Charles. But interestingly we will see Wolverine's daughter, but this episode will also see the end of one of our mutant characters, X-Men Wolverine. Let us then introduce you to today's movie from the X-Men series.

    [IMAGE](https://www.20thcenturystudios.com/movies/logan)

    Today's Interesting Movie:

Director James Mangold brilliantly directed the Logan movie from the X-Men series. The movie released to the audience on March 3, 2017 and looking at its IMDB rating (8.1 out of 10) shows how successful the movie has been and how the movie has fared. And since I liked the movie too, I will rate the movie 4.4 out of 5. Along with that, the movie's twists and action will increase the level of enjoyment of the movie.

Who played important roles in the movie:

Hugh Jackman (X and X-24), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Dafne Keen (X-23), Stephen Merchant (Caliban) have played the X-Men team in all the movies. And Body Holbrook (Donald Pierce), Richard E. Grant (Dr. Zander rice) acted as a great villain in the whole movie.

    Movie Review:

At the beginning of the movie, we see Wolverine trying to live a normal life by driving under the identity of Logan. He is joined by Logan and Mutant Caliber to meet Professor X. It is revealed that Logan is keeping the professor healthy through the use of a form of Sriram. While Logan is driving, he is suddenly approached by a woman named Gabrielle who asks for his help, but Logan leaves without helping her.

It is later revealed that Logan is tasked with dropping off a passenger and ordered for the job by a woman named Gabriela. There, Gabriella asks Logan to bring X-23 down to a place tomorrow morning in exchange for 50,000 rupees.

    [IMAGE](https://www.screengeek.net/2018/07/23/logan-uk-most-complained-about-movie/)

Logan agrees to the job to fulfill the professor's last wish and the next day goes to Gabriela's house and kills her. However, X-23 sneaks into Logan's car with Logan, and Logan is surprised to see her. Dr. Rice's soldiers arrive at Donald Logan's address and search for X-23, and Logan, the Professor, and X-23 escape in an excellent fight.

Logan, the Professor, and X-23, Logan's daughter, spend a night as guests in a pedestrian's house. However, there is a mutant named X-24 as Dr. Rice's soldier, who looks exactly like Logan but is stronger and more dangerous than Logan.

    [IMAGE](https://www.theguardian.com/film/2017/feb/17/logan-review-hugh-jackmans-wolverine-enters-a-winter-of-x-men-discontent)

Killing the professor that night, X-24 kills the entire Moonsun family along with X-23 and takes Logan's daughter. Logan then fights X-24 in anger after seeing the Professor die, and somehow Logan and X-23 escape once again.

After that father and daughter are seen to reach their destination through a long road. Where more baby mutants like X-23 were waiting for them. But by then Logan was too weak, so X-23's friends worked together to nurse Logan back to health. However, Logan does not want to keep her for the sake of his daughter, so X-23 and his friends leave for the Canadian border while Logan sleeps.

When Logan wakes up and realizes everything, he sees a drone flying in the sky, that means Dr. Rice's troops spotted the X-23s. After which Dr. Logan and X-23 all have a nice fight with Rice's troops. However, while X-23 and his friends survive, Logan dies.

    Comment:

I like the action of X-23 and X-24 of this movie. And the character of Logan's daughter is incredibly good. Those of you who haven't seen the Logan movie from the X-Men series are truly missing out. So take your time and watch today's movie and let me know how you feel in the comments.

Thank you all so much, see you again tomorrow with an interesting episode of the X-Men series.

  5. Logan (2017) review: a goodbye journey.@richardalexis1877d

    Logan (2017) Imagen Separador.png

Logan is much more than what he represents in a superficial visionary, it is a work that speaks to us beyond its own narrative.

Logan is not just a farewell letter about Wolverine, the cornerstone of the X-Men and debatably a stone on which some of today's superhero cinema stands. After films like Wolverine Origins, Wolverine Immortal, Logan gives us much more.

    Imagen

As a meta-commentary on his own state, in the abstract Logan works as a reflection on the current superhero cinema, his state of exhaustion and the reformulation as a window to the future.

Experimenting with old-school Western influences, with tinges from The Last Of Us or Childrens of Men, Logan presents a redemption arc about a character we all know, carefully hiding which elements are part of the canon, to make his closing more effective. .

I find it very interesting how the lines between reality and fiction are blurred in Logan, X-Men, as in our lives, it is a fictional story, the difference is that for them it is based on something that really happened, this allows to break the fourth wall with subtlety, and to face the phenomenon that these films created directly, again, a meta-commentary.

    Imagen

Unresponsive to typical genre clichés, though he can't help being predictable from time to time, Logan brims with personality, signs of authorship, an identity that doesn't obey greedy desires for big studios.

He introduces characters in a solid way, builds and destroys his own myths, is not afraid of hurting his followers.

None of this takes away the fun, it has very good action and a rhythm that takes its time, knows how to measure itself, is stylized and brims with personality.

    [Imagen](https://nonsologossip.com/logan-the-wolverine-trama-cast-e-curiosita-del-film-con-hugh-jackman/)

Logan is an interesting closure, not only to the narrative of his character, but to a whole genre of films that feels more and more exhausted, a shame that after it the panorama did not change as much as we would like.

    Separador.png

    [Imagen](https://nonsologossip.com/logan-the-wolverine-trama-cast-e-curiosita-del-film-con-hugh-jackman/)

  6. "Logan" - maybe the best comic-based movie? - review@godflesh3039d

Like some of the other top-quality comic films, including the Dark Knight and Spider-Man 2, Logan: The Wolverine allows not follow to his original source. The latest film about Rosomaha is most strongly influenced by Mark Miller's "Old Man Logan", an author famous for his innovative ideas: for the registration of the "Civil War", for a realistic view of the experience of an ordinary teenager Kick-Ass and many others. His "Old Man Logan" is a cross from Mad Max, Clint Eastwood's westerns, and one of Kevin Firigi's key inspiration for building a unified cinematic for Marvel's heroes (MCU). The comic book is a post-apocalyptic epic, in which the villains eventually defeated, and the USA is shared by Magneto, Kingpin, Doctor Doom, and the president of the United States is the Red Skull. Most of the superheroes are dead, the others are hiding, and Logan has refused to be a superhero - caring for his family, no money to pay for the rent (to Bruce Banner's grandchildren), and hence renting a cargo with the blind shooter and former avenger Clint Barton (Hawk Eye). Logan has denied violence, because the villainous Mysterio years ago involved him into the illusion that he rescues Professor Xavier's talented mansion from being attacked while the Werewolf kills all X-Men. The beast in him awakens as he faces the new US president in his trophy hall, which includes the defeated Iron Man's bumper, Dr. Strange's cloak, Spider-Man's mask, where the Red Skull is most victoriously dressed in Captain's Costume America. The Old Man Logan comic includes countless characters in their history, but not at the expense of the narrative, as has often happened in comic books, and in particular those in FOX.

    506833-poster.jpg

Logan" is Hugh Jackman's latest film in the role of James Logan Haullet. Jackman has been Wolverine for 17 years (2000, X-Men), has not been replaced and has played the character in nine films so far. Jackman attempted to leave X-Men's universe with James Mangold's previous film The Wolverine (2013), but although the film was an improvement over the catastrophic "X-Men Beginning: Wolverine" (2009), it was not at a high enough level to allow the actor to retire. After the success of Deadpol - nearly 800 million in the world box office, two Golden Globe nominations and a warm welcome from critics and fans, the number of R-rated comic films was expected to increase. "Logan: The Wolverine" inherits its rating from "Deadpool," but uses it much more expediently. Not just violence is sometimes cruel, but the "maturity" of the film is beyond (almost) everything seen in the genre. Loopholes of the comic remain largely conceptual: the color gamut, the atmosphere, the notion of an exhausted Wolverine that he no longer wants to be a hero. "Logan" unexpectedly succeeds and is much more akin to "Deadpool". The film shows why Logan is tired of being Wolverine, just like Hugh Jackson himself. In an innovative way, hero and actor merge, even their common health problems.

    17-logan.w600.h315.2x.jpg

The latest film about Logan aims to give fans everything they wanted to see from the Werewolf, and it is far from being limited to violence. The heroes are outdated but also grown up. Hugh Jackman says in an interview that the film does not even develop into the canon of X-Men movies (before being repaired by producer Simon Kinberg). In this connection, Logan treats comics as a myth or an exaggeration of actual events. For the last and last time there is no emblematic yellow-blue suit, but for the viewer it is very clear that he can not be present in such a heroic interpretation. James Mangold's film has no unnecessary characters, unlike most X movies. The personality system is concentrated around Wolverine, Professor X, Caliban (Stephen Merchant) and X-23. The relationship between Wolverine and Charles Xavier is one of the film's engines. For the first time, Professor X is causing both fear and regret at the same time, and his interaction with Logan has long been on the board of a teacher and a disobedient disciple. Most unexpectedly, Patrick Stewart manages to make one of the best roles in his career at all, the very idea that one of the world's most dangerous brains is ill, has been developed in a great way and with incredible Mangold directorial decisions. The inclusion of the albino Caliban is another pleasant surprise - the comedian makes Caliban more than a plot device, to provoke even sympathy. And Daphne Keane, whose first role in cinema is like the X-23, is undoubtedly the biggest hit in the casting. All of us, as viewers, have seen mischievous children who can crush a movie or, as in the Netflix Stranger Things series, to raise it to a high level. The X-23 is not just a great addition to X-mythology, but in many aspects the logical and emotional core of Logan: The Wolverine.

    logan-3840x2160-hugh-jackman-2017-4k-5951.jpg

Logan's story is clean and straightforward in the best sense. Logan's latest adventure portrays him as a veteran who is already leading a simple life, working as a limousine driver and refusing to be a hero many times. Logan lives together with the mutant Caliban, who takes care of Charles Xavier. Professor X, like Logan, is hiding from the world, but not at his own will. The villains in the film are more than one, but their motivation is not related to the capture of the world, but to the upgrading and breeding of mutants to be "Logan" represents full-blooded relationships between multi-layered characters who are much closer to us than to latex demigods. Dialogue is sophisticated, measured and crafted, words are in place and have their weight, and silence is among the characters of the film, thanks to the X-23. John Masterson ("The Gladiator") is one of the biggest plus - almost every picture is like a picture; the color gamut is raw but varied, with winks at Mad Max, The Fellowship of the Ring and Westerns, among which "Unforgivable" and of course "Shane" from 1953. Logan: The Wolverine is a Western and true deconstruction of the comic film. It is the R rating experiment (16+ in our country) that comic fans and connoisseurs of quality commercial cinema wanted to see for a long time. There is no scene behind the inscriptions, partly because "real movies have no scene behind the inscriptions" (Christopher Nolan's words), and above all because it is very important to know when to stop.

  7. Review Film: LOGAN (2017)@film-trail3276d

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DekuSxJgpbY

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X somewhere on the Mexican border. However, Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are upended when a young mutant arrives, pursued by dark forces.

Not just the fact that this will be the last film Hugh Jackman to portray the most iconic X-Men character who later made the wrapping series of The Wolverine trilogy. Filled with the hardness labeled "R-Rated" complete with all the dirty oral attributes as well as a harsh bitter reality, Logan is definitely not the Marvel superhero type you can watch comfortably with your family, especially your little ones. Yes, the selection of the adult rating does have a high risk, especially in limited sales, but after what Watchmen does, especially Deadpool, it does not seem to be a big problem as long as the smart filmmaker exploits his adult theme and James Mangold does his job incredibly .

Filmscript written by Mangold with Scott Frank and Michael Green adapted freely from Old Man Logan comic by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven 2014. Taking the set in the future time of dystopia, precisely in 2029 where the middle mutant population is on the edge of extinction, the remaining choices to hide from the crowds including Logan and the aging Professor Xavier. Neither Logan nor Professor X is no longer like the old days. Logan not only looks physically older with all the beards and hair that is full of gray hair but the age seems to have an effect on the mutant strength of the mutant. The healing power is no longer as fast as it used to be, and it took days to recover and it left scars. While Professor X arguably more severe. Stepping at the age of 90, his super brain was gnawed by Alzheimer's which made it difficult to control his terrible telekinesis power without the aid of drugs, because being late for medication would be fatal, very fatal. Especially for the character of Professor X, I am happy when finally Patrick Stewart decided to play one more role as the leader of X-Men for the last time. At Logan, he not only became a side character like in the first three series of X-Men, but his presence became important for Logan's narrative. Mangold does something different, presents tragedy, humor and despair, this is the figure of Charles Xavier that you have never seen before.

Then they both appear Laura (Dafne Keen), the mysterious little girl who then became the beginning of the real journey of Logan's life rather than just collecting money from his job to be a Limo driver. The problem is that Laura is not an ordinary girl when the mercenaries chase her alive or dead. Yes, as I said above, Logan provides a bitterly uncomfortable reality for an audience looking for a superhero safe watch. No costly costume, no fancy CGI and expensive, otherwise Mangold gave a different approach, trying to push Wolverine's story and character further than what he had made in The Wolverine four years ago, beyond the limits of most superhero movies, even questioning them, see Just the moment when Logan mocked the X-Men comic that Laura read. What about the universe? We know after X-Men: Days of Future Past timeline has changed, Professor X does not die in the hands of Jean Gray as in X-Men: The Last Stand. The new story is formed, but in Logan instead of telling what happened to the other X-Men members, Mangold immediately gave a painful ending to X-Men, the question why only Logan and Professor X left will be answered here, News heard on television. Yes, even so, Mangold does not seem to care much about the time-line of previous X-Men stories or maybe even the future of the mutants. He seemed to form his own separate story, but this might be what made Logan feel special because he was never tied up and became more personal.

Moving in a slow story line, Exploit the duration to build relationships between characters. Strengthens Logan and Charles Xavier's relationship to the furthest extent, presenting him as a father-son relation as strong as the relationship between Logan and Laura. Logan tastes like a family drama with a road movie element rather than a true superhero movie. Set against a barren, arid western part of the western part of the world but never far from the world today with all the issues of immigrants and economic destruction. Dreary and full of dust like the legendary western movie that Xavier and Laura watched at the hotel. Of course one of the main highlights is the emergence of Laura a.k.a X-23. As you can see in his trailer, he is a small mutant figure with terrible adamantium clawing skills that reminds a person, as Charles says "She's like you ...... Very much like you".Mangold did introduce Laura as a terrible little mutant at the beginning of the film, but on the way he built his character, giving a dose of humor, especially on his interaction with Logan. There is a warmth formed from the relationship of both that not only make Laura only as a complementary character but more than that when he was able to enrich the character of Logan and give kIn the end Logan may feel too sentimental with all the drama and his father-son relationship is strong and emotional, but Mangold never forget that he is still a superhero movie which means you will still find a barrage of exciting action parades. In contrast to the "R-Rated" flag, Mangold can have fun with more brutality, which means more spurted blood, body pieces and crushed heads that may have a degree of harmony with Deadpool. Every moment of the action feels memorable, not only because of its high gore content but how DoP John Mathieson presents it beautifully makes every moment able to give its own emotions, especially in the peak scene.

Funfact: Hugh Jackman will play the Wolverine again, if the movie is on mcu.

  8. Logan--movie review--showing DC how to go dark.@mctiller3341d

Logan shows DC how to go dark.

    http://www.joblo.com/timthumb.php?src=/posters/images/full/logan-poster-3.jpg&h=600&q=100

Logan steps outside of the Marvel Universe, this movie does not mesh with the previous X-men movies. Logan tells the story of a nearly 100-year-old Wolverine. And some unknown reason there has not been a new Mutant born is over 25 years.

Following in the footsteps of Deadpool, Logan is R-Rated. But unlike Deadpool who was rated R for it's language, Logan is R Rate for it's violence. And that is as it should be.

Wolverine is out of the X-men business and working as a limo driver. For some reason his healing ability has weakened, and it shows. He has a hidden garage in the middle of the desert on the Texas-Mexico border. He has a servant, Caliban, we can only assume is also some sort of Mutant.

He is approached by cybernetically enhanced man Donald Pierce who asks him if he has seen a certain woman. Logan has never seen the woman, and of course he does not like having random people enter his limo without permission. Logan kicks the man out of his limo.

We learn that he is caring for Professor Xavier, who is also suffering from the ravages of old-age. Suffering from seizures his telepathic abilities have catastrophic results for every else around him. And as we learn later, that he has Alzheimer’s disease, which when occurring in his brain can be a massive real world problem.

Logan is approached to transport Gaberila and her daughter, Laura, to a place in North Dakota named “Eden.” Logan doesn’t want the job, as knows that she is the woman that the man who entered his limo was asking about. When he reluctantly accepts the job, he finds Gaberlia murdered, he takes Laura back his hide out. When they are attacked by Donald Pierce and his gang, we quickly learn that Laura is like Logan a genetically enhance Mutant with an Adamantium skeleton.

In spite of his failing mind, Professor X is in touch telepathically with the young mutant. He knows her story.

This is as about real life an X-man movie can be. That is the movie’s strength. We see Logan struggle with his failing body, we hope throughout the movie that we will see Wolverine’s ability come back full force. For a brief moment we do, but it comes at a cost.

Director James Mangold, gives an astute and enjoyable X-men ride. He has created the type of dark themed movie that D.C. has tried to make with the Superman movies. They should take a lesson from this movie.

  9. Logan: A 90 second movie review.@hanshotfirst3403d

I just saw Marvel's latest superhero movie Logan. I truly enjoyed it.

*Do you really care about me?*

But that doesn't mean everyone will like it.

If you are looking for mindless, soulless action and fun, this is NOT the movie for you.

If you are thinking of taking your kid to see this... think again. It is graphically violent with very inappropriate language. This movie earned its "R" rating.

Logan is not a "popcorn movie".

Don't get me wrong, when there are fight scenes, they are spectacular. Seeing the little girl fight is simply jaw dropping. However, there are fewer action sequences than in most good superhero moves.

In order to completely appreciate this movie, you have to truly care about the character Wolverine. I don't just mean you have to think he's cool or funny. You need to want to see what happens when he's not slicing, dicing and cracking jokes.

*If you would like to know why a fierce killing machine is gently holding this tiny hand, this movie is for you.*

Viewing this movie is like watching your favorite sports hero play his last game well after his prime. You want to see him dunk, hit a homer or run for touchdown... but in the end, maybe the best he can do is make a few unspectacular plays that help his team win. As you watch him, you think of the highlights of his (and perhaps your) youth. You look at him with appreciation rather than awe. Watching him stirs your emotions... just like this film.

I do care about the character of Wolverine. I did enjoy seeing him broken down and then grow emotionally. Because I care about the character and wanted to learn more about him, I was never bored for one second during the very long intervals between action sequences. The emotion is what kept me pinned to my seat in this one (as opposed to the action being the key factor for most super hero movies).

*If this trailer gets you "choked up" then you already know you must see this movie.*

    So should you see Logan?

If you think you would enjoy watching a two hour love letter to the character of James Howlett, you should run out and see it today.

If you like the character of Wolverine and think you'd like to see one last chapter in his story, lower your expectations of action a bit and go see it... or wait to rent it.

If you are looking for a "popcorn movie" like The Avengers, perhaps you should wait for Netflix or skip it altogether.

    Bonus!!!!

There is a really funny "R" rated trailer for the next Deadpool movie right before Logan. It was awesome!
