Es difícil de decir en esta etapa del año y con tantas series estrenadas cual puede ser la mejor. Por supuesto que habrá una que otra que resalte y eso no está mal. Así es el juego, algunas serán recordadas y otras olvidadas. La serie estrenó su último episodio casualmente hoy 19 de agosto así que esta serie está como diría un panadero, recién calientica. La serie cuenta con un total de 7 capítulos que fueron escalonados por fechas, algo que ya se ha convertido habitual en algunas productoras. Empezamos a verla no porque no hayamos enterado por alguna noticia, fue la bellísima Anya Taylor.
It’s hard to say at this point in the year, with so many series having premiered, which one might be the best. Of course, there will be one or two that stand out, and that’s not a bad thing. That’s just how it goes some will be remembered, and others forgotten. The series just happened to premiere its final episode today, August 19, so this series is, as a baker might say, fresh off the press. The series has a total of seven episodes that were released in staggered intervals, a practice that has become common among some production companies. We started watching it not because we hadn’t heard about it in the news, but because of the gorgeous Anya Taylor.
Quizás algunos la recuerden por la serie ¨Gambito de dama¨ una serie que por cierto, dejó una gran expectativa pero que aún después de casi 6 años de su estreno, seguimos recordando dicha serie y de mi parte, espero que en algún momento puedan retomar ese proyecto y seguir el juego desde el tablero de ajedrez. En esta serie la actriz Anya nos vuelve a sorprender con su actuación dejando bien en claro que está preparada para seguir creciendo en las pantallas grandes. Así que espero que en algún podamos verla representando un papel mucho más importante en su carrera.

Tras planear un último golpe en Las Vegas para retirarse y llevar una vida normal junto a su esposo Cary, las cosas salen drásticamente mal cuando despierta y descubre que su pareja ha desaparecido con el botín de 10 millones de dólares sumándole a ese trágico despertar, Lucky está siendo perseguida por el FBI y por los despiadados matones de un jefe criminal a quien le robaron el dinero. A simple vista parece una serie más, un cliché, una más del montón pero hay unos pequeños giros que hacen de la serie llamativa y entretenida.
This new series starring Anya Taylor is called “Lucky.” She plays a skilled con artist who was raised from a young age in the world of crime by her father. After planning one last heist in Las Vegas so she can retire and lead a normal life with her husband Cary, things go drastically wrong when she wakes up to find that her partner has disappeared with the $10 million haul. To make matters worse, Lucky is being hunted by the FBI and the ruthless henchmen of a crime boss whose money was stolen. At first glance, it seems like just another series a cliché, one of many—but there are a few small twists that make the series compelling and entertaining.
Cada capítulo siempre deja un cierre justo y oportuno. Sinceramente la serie no es que sea la joya del año pero sin duda puede ser digerida con facilidad. Estaremos acompañando a Lucky en cada escape y recorrido por el país mientras utiliza todos sus recursos y habilidades para sobrevivir sumándole que a su vez debe confrontar su pasado y las enseñanzas de su padre. Un gran punto a favor de la producción es que en cada uno de sus episodios la narrativa no pedía tiempo en rellenos y es lo que hace que Lucky se pueda disfrutar durante cada uno de sus episodios. Así que los invito a disfrutar de esta nueva serie de Anya Taylor.
Each episode always wraps up neatly and at just the right moment. Honestly, the series isn’t exactly the gem of the year, but it’s certainly easy to watch. We’ll be following Lucky on every escape and journey across the country as he uses all his resources and skills to survive all while also having to confront his past and his father’s teachings. A major plus for the show is that in every episode, the narrative doesn’t waste time on filler, which is what makes Lucky enjoyable from start to finish. So I invite you to enjoy this new series from Anya Taylor.
