Hello, anime fans. We’re back with more gems from last year’s anime world, this time featuring the return of one of the most popular and controversial remakes of recent times. A return that didn’t generate as much excitement as its first season did when it premiered almost two years ago. Based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by the great Rumiko Takahashi, Ranma ½ was produced by the famous MAPPA studio. Plot

The second season begins with the return of Akane Tendo and Ranma Saotome, who, after learning that their parents have arranged their engagement, have no choice but to live together while attending school. After some time, one of Ranma’s romantic rivals, Hikaru Goensuki, returns to pursue his goal of marrying Akane. However, seeing that she pays him no attention, he decides to declare war on Ranma, her current fiancé. Despite all his efforts, Hikaru cannot defeat him in any way. That is when the eccentric Kasumi appears to him and reveals Ranma’s weakness so he can use it against him.

This isn’t the first time I’ve talked about this anime; as you can see at the beginning, I already reviewed the previous season when it aired in 2024. Exactly one year later, toward the end of last year, this remake of Ranma ½ returned, produced by the same team as before. Despite its highly anticipated return, it didn’t make as big an impact as before due to the fierce competition that season and because the remake was geared more toward fans of the original series.

But even so, despite all the criticism it received—whether for its animation, production, or character designs—I personally found it to be a very entertaining anime. I admit I’ve never been able to watch the first anime adaptation from the late ’80s and early ’90s by Studio Deen. So, whatever my opinion of this recent remake may be, I’ll never be able to compare one adaptation to the other. The same goes for the manga of the same name, which I haven’t read either, so I can’t tell you how faithful this new anime adaptation is to the original work.

No es la primera vez que hablo de este anime ya que, como pueden leer al principio, ya les había hecho una reseña a la temporada anterior cuando fue emitida en el 2024. Justo un año después, para finales del año pasado, regresó este remake de Ranma ½ del cual estuvo a cargo los mismo productores de antes. A pesar del regreso tan esperado que tuvo, no consiguió un impacto similar al que tuvo anteriormente debido a la alta competencia que hubo en aquella temporada y porque dicho remake estuvo más hecho para los que son más fans de la obra original.

Pero aún así, con todas las críticas que tuvo ya sea por su animación, producción o diseño de algunos personajes; para mí fue un anime muy entretenido, en lo personal. Admito que nunca he podido ver la primera adaptación animada que tuvo a finales de los 80 y principios de los 90 con Studio Deen. Así que, sea lo que sea que opine de este reciente remake, nunca podré comparar una adaptación con otra. Lo mismo sucede con el manga homónimo, el cual tampoco he leído, así que no puedo asegurarles qué tan fiel a la obra original es esta nueva adaptación animada.

This second season of Ranma ½ kicks off with a bang, delivering the same kind of events we’ve come to expect from the previous season. To avoid spoilers, I’ll just say that every episode of this anime is a unique blend of comedy and action (mostly martial arts), with a touch of romance and fantasy. I say “a touch of romance” because this animated series isn’t really romantic in the traditional sense. What stands out most is both the comedy and the action it features. Remember, we’re talking about the story of two young people from families that practice martial arts.

On one hand, we have Akane Tendo, the third daughter of Soun Tendo, who runs a dojo where “Musabetsu Kakutō Ryū” (Anything-Goes School of Martial Arts) is practiced. On the other hand, there’s Ranma Saotome, the son of Gemma Saotome, with whom he has traveled the world in search of different fighting styles. And as if that weren’t enough, the other supporting characters we see in this anime—who are always trailing after the main couple—also each practice some form of martial arts. In this second season, we also see the introduction and development of some new characters.

Para no darles ningún spoiler, solo les diré que cada episodio de este anime es una mezcla única de comedia con acción (principalmente artes marciales), un toque de romance y fantasía. Digo un toque de romance ya que de romántico como tal no tiene casi esta obra animada. Lo que se destaca principalmente es tanto la comedia como la acción que posee. Recordemos que estamos hablando de la historia de dos jóvenes de familias que practican artes marciales.

Por un lado tenemos a Akane Tendo, la tercera hija de Soun Tendo quien tiene un dojo donde se practica “Musabetsu Kakutō Ryū” (Anything-Goes School of Martial Arts). Por otro lado, está Ranma Saotome, hijo de Gemma Saotome con quien ha viajado por todo el mundo en busca de distintos estilos de pelea. Y como si no fuera suficiente con esto, los demás personajes secundarios que vemos en este anime y que andan detrás de esta pareja de protagonistas también practican algún estilo de arte marcial cada uno. En esta segunda temporada vemos también la aparición y desarrollo de algunos nuevos personajes.

One of them is the strange and antisocial Hikaru Goensuki, who is in love with Akane Tendo and seeks revenge on Ranma by forcing him to reveal his secrets to the school. What makes this anime entertaining is that each episode is dedicated to a particular secondary character who has a romantic interest in one of the protagonists: Akane and Ranma. Because yes, not only does Akane have a line of suitors who constantly fight with Ranma over her, but our resourceful protagonist also has his own admirers (both as a man and when he turns into a woman).

Lo entretenido de este anime es que cada episodio es dedicado a algún personaje secundario en particular quien tiene algún interés amoroso con uno de los protagonistas: Akane y Ranma. Porque sí, no solo Akane tiene una fila de enamorados que pelean constantemente con Ranma por ella, sino que también nuestro hábil protagonista tiene sus enamoradas (tanto como hombre como también cuando se convierte en mujer).

First off, we have Shampoo, whom we already know from last season and who has become a beloved character (for obvious reasons) among her fans. After being defeated by Ranma while traveling through China with her father, Shampoo sets out in search of her future fiancé and uses some rather dangerous methods to achieve this. Another girl who appears in this second season of Ranma ½ is Ukyo Kuonji, who was a childhood friend of Ranma’s. I love all the variety of characters this anime brings, as they offer us different short and entertaining stories.

I also enjoy seeing how the protagonists interact with and/or clash against their rivals and love interests, as if we were constantly watching a martial arts competition—but with young, headstrong, and eccentric lovers. This blend of action, comedy, and romance is one of the most entertaining aspects this anime has to offer, and I think that’s why it became so popular at the end of the last century. It’s no surprise that many people were excited at the time to learn that this anime gem would be getting a Netflix remake.

Para empezar, tenemos a Shampoo quien ya conocemos de la temporada pasada y que se ha vuelto un personaje muy querido (por obvias razones) entre su fandom. Luego de ser derrotada por Ranma mientras estaba de viaje con su padre por China, Shampoo va en busca de su futuro prometido y utiliza métodos un tanto peligrosos para lograr esto. Otra chica que aparece en esta segunda temporada de Ranma ½ es Ukyo Kuonji quien fue una amiga de la infancia de Ranma. Me gusta toda esta variedad de personajes que nos trae este anime ya que nos ofrecen distintas historias cortas y entretenidas.

También me gusta ver cómo los protagonistas se relacionan y/o se enfrentan con sus rivales e intereses amorosos como si todo el tiempo estuviéramos viendo una competencia de artes marciales, pero con jóvenes enamorados, tercos y extravagantes. Dicha manera de mezclar la acción con la comedia y el romance es de lo más entretenido que tiene este anime para ofrecer y creo que por eso es que se volvió muy popular a finales del siglo pasado. No me extraña que a mucha gente le emocionó en su momento saber que ésta joya de anime tendría un remake por parte de Netflix.

Now, as for the story itself in this anime, I do have some complaints. I understand that, in terms of the romance, it takes time to develop the complicated relationship between Akane and Ranma, starting from their arranged engagement at the beginning. But all we see in both the first and this second season are just different events involving secondary characters who constantly get in the way of their relationship. This is good, on one hand, since we get to see a variety of characters who help develop both the protagonists and their relationship.

One thing worth noting about Akane and Ranma’s relationship is that neither of them agrees with the engagement their parents arranged. I’m reminding you of this because it’s what we see from the very beginning of the anime. That’s why it’s striking how they both argue, fight, and even scheme to find a way to end their engagement so they can “be happy.” But over time, and with all the things and situations they go through in these two seasons (especially in this second one), we see how they reconsider their relationship and gradually grow closer. That’s why I understand a little why their relationship takes time to develop.

Ahora, en cuanto a la historia como tal de este anime tengo mis quejas al respecto. Entiendo que, en cuanto a lo romántico, tenga su tiempo para desarrollar la complicada relación que tienen Akane y Ranma desde su compromiso arreglado al principio. Pero todo lo que vemos tanto en la primera como en esta segunda temporada son solo eventos diferentes de personajes secundarios que se interponen constantemente en la relación de ambos. As I mentioned at the beginning, this anime focuses more on action and comedy than on romance per se. Another thing I like about this anime is the fantastical ability some characters have to transform into animals—or, in Ranma’s case, into a woman. At first, it seems like a basic narrative device to add some drama and humor to the story, with the mystery of whether or not the female version of Ranma is actually a different person. Aside from the Fanservice they throw in, this trope becomes a bit cliché over time as we see that other characters also have a similar curse.

And speaking of Fanservice, I overlooked another new character we meet in this second season: the old man Haposai. His entire personality is completely designed to be one of the most despicable and disgusting we’ve seen in this anime. Honestly, I don’t quite get the suggestive and absurd humor this anime sometimes has, but hey, we’re talking about a remake of a 90s comedy anime. Let’s remember that back then, humor was very different from what we see now.

Otra cosa que me gusta de este anime es el recurso fantástico que tienen algunos personajes para que se conviertan en animales o, en el caso de Ranma, en mujer. Al principio se ve como un recurso narrativo básico para darle algo de drama y humor a la historia con el misticismo de que la versión mujer de Ranma es o no es otra persona. Sinceramente no comprendo bien el estilo de humor tan sugerente y absurdo que a veces tiene este anime, pero bueno, estamos hablando de un remake de un anime de comedia de los años 90. But despite all that, I won’t deny that I still had fun watching it. Even though it has plenty of absurd moments, it’s entertaining for the most part, and its story—even if it doesn’t seem like it—does have a somewhat progressive development. Especially when it comes to the main characters, we see some growth from one season to the next. As much as I might complain about how slow they’re moving with the romance, everything else isn’t bad at all, honestly. Especially when it comes to the audiovisuals, it manages to maintain a standard of quality without straying too far from the classic and iconic style of the original work.

This is something many have complained about, especially since we’re talking about MAPPA, one of the largest studios in all of Japan. But I think they’ve done a good job of balancing an animation style that reminds us more of the original work, but with a quality and fluidity that really stands out, especially in battle or chase scenes. I also like the character designs, regardless of what people think. The light and varied color palette is also excellent, as is the use of lighting, shadows, and visual and motion effects.

Pero a pesar de todo eso, no voy a negar que me he divertido viéndolo igualmente. What I like most is that they’ve always stuck to a very traditional animation style, rarely resorting to computer-generated animation—something I really hate. Another aspect I really like is the visual detail in this modern adaptation. The sound effects also stand out, especially during action scenes and explosions. The soundtrack is good too, though it doesn’t really stand out as much as you’d expect, to be honest. A lot of the time, it even takes a back seat. Anyway, here’s an anime that might interest you.

Personally, I’d give it a 8.5/10 in terms of the action, comedy, and romance genres.

Lo que más me gusta es que han mantenido siempre un estilo de animación de lo más tradicional, sin necesidad de recurrir casi nunca a la animación hecha por computadora, cosa que deteste bastante. Otro detalle que me gusta mucho son los detalles visuales que tiene esta adaptación moderna. Los efectos de sonido también destacan por su parte, sobre todo cuando vamos a ver escenas de acción y explosiones. La banda sonora también es buena, aunque no destaca tanto como uno esperaría, la verdad. Muchas veces hasta queda en segundo o tercer plano. En fin, aquí les dejo un anime que podría interesarte.

Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 8.5/10 en lo que respecta al género de acción, comedia y romance.

The long-awaited season 2 of Ranma 1/2 recently premiered on Netflix, and excitement is slowly building as the rest of the characters are introduced, metaphorically speaking, performing a choreographed dance of entertainment as they are introduced with each passing episode.

Nostalgia captivates, as demonstrated by the previous season, which made fans of the old version from the 80s and 90s fall in love with the magic of the beautiful red-haired protagonist of this story, with the added bonus of modern streaming power thanks to Netflix. This service made the right decision in giving this old anime a chance for new generations, who have welcomed Ranma with open arms.

I have only two criticisms: Netflix still hasn't given us a powerful version of the openings and endings for Ranma. The old version far surpasses the opening of season 1, not to mention the opening of season 2, which in my opinion lacked much more emotion, rhythm, and connection with Ranma's adventures.

Ranma and Akane's love interacting with each new character is the anime's greatest fuel, and the second season is taking full advantage of this momentum to connect with the audience. El Ending en la temporada 1 de Netflix esta muy bien pero la temporada dos considero es la que peor falla en darnos emoción musical.

A pesar de lo anterior, la emoción de las aventuras y la introducción de cada personaje nuevo que se agrega al elenco de este anime sigue siendo su mayor poder y acierto, yo he reído con cada episodio como cuando reía de niño viendo Ranma.

Netflix tiene un gran producto entre sus manos cuya historia y dinámica de entretenimiento han envejecido muy bien en harmonia con las nuevas audiencias, pienso Netflix esta haciendo muy bien al aprovechar el arcoíris de personajes y dejar a esos personajes ser lo que son, no he percibido estos elementos de inclusión forzada de la actualidad en este anime y eso es muy positivo en lo que va de segunda temporada.

Hello, my dear otaku friends.

I'm sharing my Ranma cosplay as a girl. This anime and manga is one of my favorites for its romance and comedy; it's another work of art, followed by Inuyasha, since both manga belong to mangaka Rumiko Takahashi. Their stories are very funny and also romantic; what draws my attention most are the twists and turns of the plot, which makes us think in an ironic yet romantic way.

Ranma is a 16-year-old boy who, when poured with cold water, turns into a girl, and with hot water, he transforms back into a boy. This makes us laugh because he's a very strong young man and not very feminine when he transforms into a woman, haha.

My outfit is simple to make: a red blouse, a black belt, jeans, and my pink sneakers, but they can be black.

Les comparto mi cosplay de Ranma en forma de chica. Este anime y manga es uno de mis preferidos por ser romántico y de comedia; es otra obra de arte seguida de Inuyasha, ya que les pertenecen ambos mangas a la mangaka Rumiko Takahashi. Sus historias son muy divertidas y también románticas; lo que más me llama la atención son sus enredos al momento de desarrollarse la trama, que nos hace pensar de manera irónica y a su vez llena de romanticismo.

Ranama es un chico de 16 años que, al echarle agua fría, se convierte en chica y, con agua caliente, se vuelve a transformar en chico. Esto nos hace reír porque es un jovencito muy fuerte y poco femenino para cuando se transforma en mujer, jaja.

Mi outfit es sencillo de elaborar, ya que es una blusa de color rojo, un cinturón color negro, un jean y mis zapatillas color rosa, pero pueden ser color negro.

Con papel crepé color amarillo hice las aplicaciones de la blusa.

En mis muñecas me coloqué dos cintas de color negro

Hello anime lovers, I am back with one of my favorite anime, Ranma 1/2. It's quite popular; I hope you all know this anime, and if you don't, then it's not too late to start because they have a new version with much cooler graphics that would be up to your taste. I believe the story is the same as it was in the old ones, as I don't remember what I watched because I was very young when I first saw this anime. I could not even understand English at that time, so I only watched it for fun without understanding. I would try to guess what they were saying by their actions, which I made up in my mind. Anyway, even though I could not get it at that time, this anime was still fun to watch. I have recently re-watched it, and it was an overwhelming moment for me; I felt nostalgic and all the feelings from the past. The difference is that this time I understood the storyline properly.

The trailer is so funny; it brings back so many memories. I got really excited when I watched the trailer, as I felt younger again. I was a kid back then, but now it feels different than before. I really enjoyed the trailer; however, you should not judge the anime by watching the trailer. I would ask you to watch the anime after a few episodes; it's going to be addicting. I could not take my eyes off this anime. The trailer is really good, in my opinion, but not enough to attract new anime fans to watch it. However, the old fans will surely understand the value of this anime.

The story begins with a boy named Ranma Saotome. His journey starts with his arrival at the Tendo dojo, where he has to marry Akane Tendo as part of an arranged marriage. Our protagonist is a martial artist; after an accident during his training in China, he was cursed to transform into a girl. This happens when he gets into cold water or if someone splashes cold water on him, and to turn back into his original form, which is a boy, he has to get into hot water. The story follows the life of Ranma as he navigates this curse and his relationships with his fiancée.

Well, this anime is a classic, and it is one of my favorites. The fighting scenes are incredible and entertaining to watch; also, each character is very hilarious. There's comedy, a slow-burn romance, and martial arts action. This is an anime that will make you feel many things at once. Even the characters are so relatable and lovable; for that reason, I couldn't find any character to hate. I love the art style; it looks much better than the old versions, and the colors are very vibrant. The comedy scenes are just amazing, and I have found myself laughing most of the time.

The unpredictable narrative will hook you into the anime. To be honest, it is true that old is gold. The concept is also very unique; you can barely find animes with this kind of concept. One thing that bothers me is that the episodes are too short for me; I wish they were longer, such as 40 minutes. The episodes take a long time to release, and I wait for days and days just for some short episodes. It's not fair; this masterpiece should have longer episodes and more than 12 episodes.

You will also get to see a love triangle and hilarious scenarios. Some are cute scenes that will make you crave more. The chemistry between Ranma and Akane grows gradually throughout season 1; they did not rush to make them fall in love, which is good. I really like to watch slow burns. I also saw a season 2 trailer that was released a few days ago. I am very excited for season 2, and it will be released in October, maybe, but at least it's this year, not next year. I am very happy and hope they have success and get interested in making a few more seasons.

Hello everyone dear otaku friends, I hope you are doing great... this time I want to share with you a new review, this time I will bring you my opinions about a very curious series... I just martial arts fights to the graceful transformations caused by water, everything felt like it was done with a detail that shows the love they had for this work. The world of Ranma feels very unique.. and this remake apparently became a dream come true for old fans.. i've been finished watching the remake of Ranma 1/2 and I have a lot to say... first of all, I must confess that I never watched the original anime... I know, I know, I know, I know it was a classic for many of you, and it is surely a crucial part of your childhood.. but it had never caught my attention. I know, i know, i know it was a classic for many of you, and it is surely a crucial part of your childhood.. but it had never caught my attention, and at that time i had not fully entered the world of anime, since i was in diapers.. but this remake seemed to me a unique and necessary opportunity to introduce me to this story.. and I could understand a little bit why it became so iconic, and why people have been asking for a remake since years ago, I from the first episode I felt an atmosphere of nostalgia... I could detect that even though I didn't watch the original series, it just felt like it was a story that was written quite a long time ago.. it felt like stepping into a time machine, watching a work that was like a pillar for what would later become a genre as marked as the romance genre... and the coolest thing of all is that even though it's an old story, it feels modernized in the best possible way.
I thought the animation was great, it's vibrant and colorful.. I love how they decided to transfer the characters into this new medium... everything feels super fluid, from the chaotic hearing and confirming from some fans that the 90's adaptation took a lot of liberties, but this time they stayed very true to the original material.. they make the pages of the manga come alive. . there is one scene in particular where Ranma's curse is explained for the first time.. and all the framing, the dialogue, even the little expressions on the characters faces.. everything is straight out of the manga, and it's a gift to all the fans who have been waiting for decades to see this level of fidelity.

Hola a todos queridos amigos otakus, espero que estén súper bien.. en esta ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes una nueva reseña, esta vez les traeré mis opiniones sobre una serie bastante curiosa.. acabo de terminar de ver el remake de Ranma 1/2 y tengo mucho que decir.. primero que nada, debo confesar que nunca vi el anime original.. lo sé, lo sé, sé que fue un clásico para muchos de ustedes, y que seguramente es una parte crucial de sus infancias.. pero nunca me había llamado la atención, y en esa época no había entrado completamente al mundo del anime, ya que estaba en pañales.. pero este remake me pareció una oportunidad única y necesaria para introducirme a esta historia.. y pude entender un poco por qué se volvió tan icónica, y por qué la gente ha estado pidiendo un remake desde hace años, yo desde el primer episodio sentí una atmósfera de nostalgia.. pude detectar eso a pesar de que no vi la serie original, simplemente se siente como si fuera una historia que se escribió hace bastante tiempo.. lo sentí como entrar a una máquina del tiempo, ver una obra que fue como un pilar para lo que sería después un género tan marcado como es el género romántico.. y lo más genial de todo es que a pesar de que sea una historia antigua, se siente modernizada de la mejor manera posible.
La animación me pareció genial, es vibrante y colorida.. me encanta cómo decidieron traspasar los personajes en este nuevo medio.. todo se siente súper fluido, desde las caóticas peleas de artes marciales hasta las graciosas transformaciones provocadas por el agua, todo me pareció hecho con un detalle que demuestre el cariño que tenían por esta obra. El mundo de Ranma se siente muy único.. y este remake aparentemente se convirtió en un sueño hecho realidad para los fanáticos antiguos.. he estado escuchando y confirmando por algunos fanáticos que la adaptación de los noventa se tomó muchas libertades, pero esta vez se mantuvieron muy fieles al material original.. hacen que las páginas del manga cobren vida.. hay una escena en particular donde se explica por primera vez la maldición de Ranma.. y todo el encuadro, los diálogos, incluso las pequeñas expresiones de los rostros de los personajes.. todo está directamente sacado del manga, y es un regalo para todos los fanáticos que han estado esperando por décadas ver este nivel de fidelidad.

Of course we have to talk about the characters and this story... it all revolves around Ranma and his gender change curse, the way it's all presented is hilarious and unique, and his dynamic with his fiancée Akane is pure gold.... their love-hate relationship starts with a super explosive chemistry that makes you laugh constantly, you can't help but root for them despite all their shenanigans, Akane's stubbornness and Rahma's cocky attitude clash in a very entertaining way.. honestly it's like watching a super, super classic romantic comedy.. we see martial arts stuff, yes, but I think what I liked the most was that tug-of-war dynamic between the two main characters.
Now, there is one thing to talk about, the censorship... some scenes, particularly those involving nudity, have been altered so that they are not so explicit.. this did not bother me at all, and I do not think it is relevant to the story as such, although it may have disappointed some people, I think it is a change that does not affect the essence of the series at all... if this bothered them, I think maybe they should grow up a little and stop looking for sexual satisfaction in Japanese cartoons. That said, the humor and charm are still very present in the episodes... I was quite surprised to find the humor quite absurd, as I like it, the mix of comedy, exaggerated transformations and wild martial arts battles is like nothing I've seen before... it's ridiculous in the best sense of the word... it's a perfect combination of chaos and romance, and I think that's one of the things that make Ranma 1/2 so special.

Por supuesto tenemos que hablar de los personajes y de esta historia.. todo gira en torno a Ranma y su maldición de cambio de género, la manera en la que se presenta todo esto es muy graciosa y única, y su dinámica con su prometida Akane es oro puro.. su relación de amor-odio comienza con una química súper explosiva que te hace reír constantemente, no puedes evitar apoyarlos a pesar de todas sus travesuras, la terquedad de Akane y la actitud arrogante de Rahma chocan de manera muy entretenida.. honestamente es como ver una comedia romántica súper, súper clásica.. vemos cosas de artes marciales, sí, pero creo que lo que más me gustó fue esa dinámica de tira y afloja entre los dos protagonistas.
Ahora, hay que hablar de una cosa, la censura.. algunas escenas, particularmente las que involucran desnudos, han sido alteradas para que no sean tan explícitas.. esto no me importó para nada, y no creo que sea relevante para la historia como tal, si bien pudo haber decepcionado a algunas personas, creo que es un cambio que no afecta para nada la esencia de la serie.. a quienes esto les molestó, pienso que quizá deberían madurar un poco y dejar de buscar satisfacción sexual en dibujos animados japoneses. Dicho esto, el humor y el encanto siguen muy presentes en los capítulos.. yo me sorprendí bastante al encontrarme con un humor bastante absurdo, como me gusta, la mezcla de comedia, transformaciones exageradas y batallas de artes marciales salvajes no es como nada que haya visto antes.. es ridículo en el mejor sentido de la palabra.. es una combinación perfecta entre caos y romance, y creo que es de las cosas que hacen que Ranman 1/2 sea tan especial.

For fans of the original, I noticed there's a lot of nostalgia to be had. The iconic theme music has been reimagined but still retains that same upbeat vibe, the characters' personalities are just as you remember, quirky, endearing, and super fun. Even I, who am new to this world, could feel all the love and care that was put into preserving the essence of what made this anime a classic. Among other things that I really liked about this new adaptation is how timeless the story feels, although the setting is rooted in the 80s, it doesn't feel dated at all as it captures the unique essence that connected with fans of the time, while also presenting universal themes in interesting ways, such as identity and human relationships. themes that are still relevant to new generations, the themes of self-discovery and navigating complicated relationships are as relevant today as they were in the 90s, and for newbies like me, this remake is the perfect gateway into this wild world, without feeling bored or like you're watching something outdated, it's like receiving the key to a treasure chest that I didn't even know existed... I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised.
The fight sequences are very dynamic, the animation is incredible.. everything feels super fluid, it feels great to be able to see every single detail.. the colors are so vibrant that they practically jump off the screen.. and I thought the character designs were good and fun, although they have been updated enough to feel fresher, it doesn't feel at all alien to its classic charm.. as for the visual section, I think it's a delight from start to finish.

Para los fanáticos de la obra original, noté que hay mucha nostalgia por disfrutar.. la música temática e icónica ha sido reinventada, pero aún conserva ese mismo ambiente alegre, las personalidades de los personajes son tal como las recuerdan, peculiares, entrañables, y superdivertidas.. incluso yo, que soy nuevo en este mundo, pude sentir todo el amor y cuidado que le pusieron para preservar la esencia de lo que hizo a este anime un clásico. Entre otras cosas que me gustó mucho de esta nueva adaptación es lo atemporal que se siente la historia, aunque la ambientación está arraigada en los años 80, no se siente para nada anticuada, ya que captura la esencia única que conecta con los fanáticos de la época, y a la vez presenta temas universales de manera interesante, como la identidad y las relaciones humanas.. temas que siguen siendo relevantes para las nuevas generaciones.. los temas de auto-descubrimiento y navegar relaciones complicadas son tan relevantes hoy como lo fueron en los 90, y para los nuevos como yo, este remake es la puerta perfecta para entrarse a este mundo salvaje, sin sentirse aburrido o que estás viendo algo pasado de moda, es como recibir la llave de un cofre del tesoro que ni siquiera sabía que existía.. debo admitir que me sorprendió gratamente.
Las secuencias de luchas son muy dinámicas, la animación es increíble.. todo se siente súper fluido, se siente genial poder ver cada uno de los detalles.. los colores son tan vibrantes que prácticamente saltan de la pantalla.. y los diseños de personajes me parecieron buenos y divertidos, aunque se han actualizado lo suficiente para que se sientan más frescos, no se siente para nada ajeno de su encanto clásico.. en cuanto al apartado visual, me parece un deleite de principio a fin.

If there’s one thing I’d like to see more of as the series progresses it’s a deeper exploration of the side characters.. all of these episodes focus way too much on Ranma and Akane which makes sense but there’s such a colorful and varied cast of side characters that I can’t wait to get to know them better.. I’ve heard that some of them have wild backstories and super funny quirks so I hope they surprise us with more episodes soon and give them their time to shine.
I give this series a solid 8.5/10. Honestly, I felt totally caught up and invested in this series.. I became a fan quickly haha, I hope the second season comes out very soon.. and if you haven’t seen it I highly recommend giving it a chance. It’s great for exploring something that feels completely new even though it feels old.. surely this anime will continue to surprise me more and more.. I found it fun and unique. Si hay algo que me gustaría ver más a medida que la serie avanza es una exploración más profunda de los personajes secundarios.. todos estos episodios se centran demasiado en Ranma y Akane, lo cual tiene sentido, pero hay un elenco tan colorido y variado de personajes secundarios que no puedo esperar para conocerlos mejor.. he escuchado que algunos de ellos tienen historias de fondo salvajes y peculiaridades súper graciosas, así que espero que pronto nos sorprendan con más capítulos y que les den su momento de brillar.
Yo le doy a esta serie un sólido 8.5/10. Honestamente, me sentí totalmente atrapado e involucrado en esta serie.. me convertí en un fanático rápidamente, jaja, espero que la segunda temporada llegue muy pronto.. y si no la han visto, les recomiendo que le den una oportunidad. Es ideal para explorar algo que se siente completamente nuevo a pesar de que parezca antiguo.. seguramente este anime seguirá sorprendiéndome más y más.. me pareció divertido y único. Hello anime fans. Today I want to talk to you about one of the most popular anime aired last year, the unexpected return of one of the most iconic stories in the genre of romantic comedy and action. Being one of those works that marked more than one generation (between the late 80s and early 90s), this series originally managed to be successful beyond the country of the rising sun, being America and Europe the places where it became more popular. As a beginner in this wide world of Japanese animation, it was only thanks to this new Remake that Netflix has managed to bring out for last season that I got to know this excellent work, full of humor, laughter and very entertaining moments. Based on the homonymous manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi (same creator of Urusei Yatsura and InuYasha), this new animated adaptation was produced by the famous MAPPA studio. This is one of those anime that have managed to transcend in time with a very characteristic style and humor. Meet one of the funniest works I've seen in the world of anime.

El día de hoy les quiero hablar acerca de uno de los animes más populares que se han emitido el año pasado, el regreso inesperado de una de las historias más icónicas dentro del género de la comedia romántica y la acción. Siendo de esas obras que marcaron a más de una generación (entre finales de los 80s y principios de los años 90s), esta serie originalmente consiguió tener éxito más allá del país del sol naciente, siendo América y Europa los lugares donde más se llegó a popularizar. Como apenas un principiante en este amplio mundo de la animación japonesa, no fue sino gracias a este nuevo Remake que Netflix ha conseguido sacar para la temporada pasada que logré conocer esta excelente obra, repleta de humor, risas y momentos muy entretenidos. Plot

The anime starts in Japan, evidently, in a place called "Doujo Yendo", which is also the home of the Tendo family. The father and owner of the dojo, Soun Tendo, gives the news to his family that on that day they will receive their best friend, Genma Saotome, who has been traveling in China and is back with his son, Ranma Saotome. Both parents have made the decision to arrange for their sons to marry so that the two martial arts expert families can unite and own the dojo. Saotome's son, Ranma, is the same age as the third and last daughter of the Tendo family, Akane, who will be the one to give her father for such an arranged marriage. However, she disagrees as she detests men and doesn't even know Ranma, who just then shows up at the Tendo family home as a (supposedly) red-haired girl on top of a huge panda walking on two legs with whom she has been fighting on the road. The strange thing is that, supposedly, Ranma is a man, but when he shows up as a woman doubt takes hold of the Tendo family... until he later enters the bathtub and comes out as a boy.

Before I give you my opinion about this anime, I want to mention something that caught my attention when I did some research about Ranma ½. Being that it is one of those works that came to popularize anime in America and the world in the late 80s, this series kicked off one of the most famous franchises of the genre, with several versions of the original adaptation, movies and OVAs that have managed to keep going through each decade. This time, they are back with a re-release that seems to be more based on the original manga work. Not only that, but this new Remake is promoted by none other than Netflix, as well as being animated by MAPPA, which is one of the most popular animation studios in history. With this in mind, it is to be expected the popularity and successful reach that this anime has achieved by the end of 2024 by having a huge audience and fans from several decades ago. Although, of course, there is never lack of critics, which in this case have had some displeasure from the beginning, long before starting its broadcast, with the redesign of the female character of Saotome Ranma (as is the case of the pink hair, which was supposed to be red). But well, as what you will read below will be just my opinion, let's leave aside these criticisms that many people have made to this anime and let's start with the review.

Antes de darles mi opinión acerca de este anime, quiero mencionar algo que me llamó la atención cuando investigué un poco acerca de Ranma ½. Siendo que es una de esas obras que llegó a popularizar el anime en América y el mundo a finales de los 80s, esta serie dió inicio a una de las franquicias más famosas del género, con varias versiones de la adaptación original, películas y OVAs que han conseguido mantenerse durante cada década. En esta ocasión, vuelven con una reedición que parece basarse más en la obra original del manga. Y no solo eso, sino que este nuevo Remake está promocionado por nada menos que Netflix, además de estar animado por MAPPA, el cual es uno de los estudios de animación más populares de la historia. Teniendo esto presente, es de esperarse la popularidad y el exitoso alcance que este anime ha conseguido para finales del 2024 al tener una enorme audiencia y fanáticos de varias décadas atrás. Aunque, claro, nunca falta la crítica la cual en este caso han tenido cierto disgusto desde un principio, mucho antes de empezar su emisión, con el rediseño del personaje femenino de Saotome Ranma (como es el caso del cabello rosado, que supuestamente debería de ser rojo). Pero bueno, como lo que leerán a continuación será solo mi opinión, dejemos de lado estas críticas que mucha gente ha hecho a este anime y empecemos con la reseña.

To begin with, let's talk a little bit about the story we are trying to tell in this anime. At the beginning we meet several characters, more specifically two families (the Tendo family and the Saotome family) of two different kinds of martial arts that have decided to join in marriage by Saotome Ranma and Akane Tendo. The two are united only by their passion for martial arts, although their fighting styles differ quite a bit, just as they naturally dislike each other from their first meeting. When Akane and her family find out about Ranma's strange case of turning into a girl when he gets wet, this generates some hatred and contempt from her towards him, mostly because he defeated her in combat. This problem would not be the only humiliation, because when they start attending school, they will be forced to relate to each other despite wanting to keep their distance, but a series of events involving other characters who seek her heart test the feelings they both have for each other. Are they really mortal enemies, friends or something else?

I will already mention that the way the plot is constructed is something that reminds me a lot of another famous work of the same creator, Urusei Yatsura, which has a similarity in terms of story construction and relationships between the protagonists. In the case of Ranma ½, although the theme of aliens is not present, this is replaced by absurd curses, Saotome Ranma's being the worst of all by turning into a red-haired girl when she takes a bath or water is thrown on her. This not only gives him that nonsensical humor that later other Japanese works have adopted as well, but it gives him that detail complicating everything about his relationship with Akane and other aspects of his life that give him that character development that many of us like to see. Although, to be honest, the one who seems to have the most development is Akane Tendo. But, otherwise, we get to see a relationship born and grow based on an endless series of awkward, unfortunate and even absurd situations to say the least. The humor mixed with the unique romance that this work has with pure mixed martial arts style action is something that makes this work unique.

Para empezar, hablemos un poco acerca de la historia que nos intentan contar en este anime. Al principio conocemos varios personajes, más en específico a dos familias (la familia Tendo y la familia Saotome) de dos clases distintas de artes marciales que han decidido unirse en matrimonio por parte de Akane Tendo y Saotome Ranma. Ambos los une únicamente su pasión por las artes marciales, aunque sus estilos de combate se distinguen bastante, al igual que se detestan naturalmente desde su primer encuentro. Cuando Akane y su familia se enteran del extraño caso que tiene Ranma que al mojarse se convierte en una chica, esto genera cierto odio y desprecio de ella hacia él, más que nada porque la venció en combate. Este problema no sería la única humillación, ya que al empezar a asistir a la escuela, estos se verán obligados a relacionarse a pesar de querer mantener su distancia, pero una serie de acontecimientos envueltos en otros personajes que buscan el corazón de ella ponen a prueba los sentimientos que ambos se tienen. ¿De verdad son enemigos mortales, amigos o algo más?

Desde ya voy a mencionar que la forma en la que la trama está construida es algo que me hace recordar mucho a otra famosa obra del mismo creador, Urusei Yatsura, la cual tiene una similitud en cuanto a construcción de historia y relaciones entre los protagonistas. Este humor adolescente típico es notable en esta obra, lo cual hace que no pierda su valor con el paso del tiempo y menos en la actualidad al dirigirse específicamente a ese tipo de público. What I like the most is that they keep the essence of each character and give an excellent impression and capture the attention of those scenes so entertaining and exciting that this series has. The fluidity, the drawing style, the color palette, the details and the expressions we see abound is so well done that I honestly don't think there is a chapter that has bored me in this remake. It certainly shows how much I love this classic 2D animation style, with almost no CGI or 3D that bothers at all regardless of the lack of depth in the artwork. On the other hand, there are the sound effects, which isn't bad either, although it doesn't stand out as much as its soundtrack does, which is what I like most about the anime. The melodies and sounds we hear in certain chapters maintain the mood and emotion of the moment very well (although I really like the Ending, the Opening is entertaining to say the least). Considering that it's a romantic comedy mixed with some action, it's not bad at all, especially in certain parts where the action is very, very well done without going overboard in terms of animation and fluidity, but maintaining a unique style from start to finish. Anyway, this is an anime that not only the "oldies" will remember, but it is also excellent for those who are looking for something different and at the same time fun to watch.

Personally, I give it a 9/10 rating as far as the romantic comedy/action genre is concerned.

Por último, hablemos del lado técnico de este anime, pero no sin antes mencionar un detalle que puede ser negativo o incluso molesto para muchos y es el “fanservice”. Si bien parece no faltar esto en el anime, sino que más bien lo añaden como algo típico de esta obra, no termina siendo una molestia en lo absoluto, ya que en cuanto a planos o vistas el estudio no utiliza este método de sexualizar en demasía a los personajes femeninos (como es el caso de muchos animes RomCom o de Fantasía genéricos que abundan con planos fijos o en movimiento enfocados a ciertas partes del cuerpo de chicas todo el tiempo). Es más, en el caso de Ranma ½ Netflix sacó una versión censurada del anime por obvios motivos. Ahora, volviendo a lo importante, recordemos que el estudio a cargo de este Remake es el mismo que animó obras maestras como lo son Jujutsu Kaisen. Es decir, que las expectativas que habían con respecto a esta obra popular eran demasiado altas. A diferencia de lo que la mayoría opina al respecto, en lo personal me ha gustado el estilo de animación característico que tiene este anime, ya que se inspira y se mantiene mucho a la obra del manga y la da más libertad al estudio en dedicarse a otros detalles como lo es el diseño de los personajes, lo cual también opino que no está mal (el caso del cabello de la versión mujer de Ranma me da igual).

Lo que más me gusta es que mantienen la esencia de cada personaje y le dan una excelente impresión y captura bastante la atención esas escenas tan entretenidas y emocionantes que tiene esta serie. La fluidez, el estilo de dibujo, la paleta de colores, los detalles y las expresiones que vemos abundar está tan bien hecho que sinceramente no creo que haya un capítulo que me haya aburrido de este remake. Sin duda esto demuestra lo mucho que me encanta este estilo clásico de animación en 2D, sin casi nada de CGI o 3D que moleste en lo absoluto sin importar la falta de profundidad en la obra. Por otro lado, están los efectos de sonido, lo cual no está mal tampoco, aunque no se destaca tanto como lo hace su banda sonora, la cual es lo que más me gusta del anime. Las melodías y los sonidos que escuchamos en ciertos capítulos mantienen muy bien el humor y la emoción del momento (si bien me gusta mucho el Ending, el Opening en cambio es cuanto menos entretenido). Tomando en cuenta que es una comedia romántica mezclada con algo de acción, no está para nada mal y más en ciertas partes en las que la acción está muy pero muy bien hecha sin llegar a exagerar en cuanto a animación y fluidez sino manteniendo un único estilo de inicio a fin. En fin, este es un anime que no solo los “old” recordarán, sino que también es excelente para los que buscan algo diferente y a la vez divertido de ver.

Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 9/10 en lo que respecta al género de la comedia romántica y la acción.

Hello everyone, fellow anime fans... I hope you are doing great. Today I'm going to tell you about a new anime I saw a few months ago and I was definitely surprised, I feel it's pretty cool.. today I'm going to tell you about Appare-Ranman! This anime is a wild ride, literally and figuratively.. if you like adventure, action and steampunk vibes, you definitely need to give it a chance.. but even if none of this goes with you, I feel like the characters and themes will probably hook you anyway. It's rare to find a series that mixes so many elements and still remains fun and entertaining.. so here's the thing, this anime is set in the late 19th and early 20th century, during Japan's Meiji era.. but most of the story takes place in the U.S. What's the premise? A transcontinental race across the United States, from Los Angeles to New York... sounds simple, right?
Well, it's not. It's full of quirky characters, crazy vehicles and enough twists to always keep you hooked and wanting to watch chapter after chapter... the main duo, Appare and Kosame, are so contrasting that they become unforgettable. Appare is an eccentric genius obsessed with machines and engineering, while Kosame is a very traditional samurai trying to keep this young boy under control.. their dynamic is super funny yet touching, watching Kosame panic over Appare's crazy ideas never fails to be funny. But you also slowly see how they come to trust each other and support each other.. it's that kind of character development that makes you care deeply about what will happen to them.

Hola a todos, amigos fanáticos del anime.. espero que estén super bien. Hoy les hablaré de un nuevo anime que vi hace algunos meses y que sin duda me sorprendió bastante, siento que es bastante genial.. hoy les hablaré de Appare-Ranman! Este anime es un viaje salvaje, literal y figurativamente.. si te gusta la aventura, la acción y las vibras steampunk, sin duda tienes que darle una oportunidad.. pero incluso si nada de esto va contigo, siento que los personajes y los temas probablemente te engancharán de todos modos. Es raro encontrar una serie que mezcle tantos elementos y aun así se mantenga divertida y entretenida.. entonces, aquí está el asunto, este anime está ambientado a finales del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX, durante la era Meiji de Japón.. pero la mayor parte de la historia tiene lugar en Estados Unidos. ¿Cuál es la premisa? Una carrera transcontinental a través de los Estados Unidos, desde Los Ángeles hasta Nueva York.. suena simple, ¿verdad?
Pues no. Está llena de personajes extravagantes, vehículos locos y suficientes giros como para mantenerte siempre enganchado y queriendo ver capítulo tras capítulo.. el dúo principal, Appare y Kosame, es tan contrastante que se vuelve inolvidable. Appare es un genio excéntrico obsesionado con las máquinas y la ingeniería, mientras que Kosame es un samurai muy tradicional que intenta mantener a este joven chico bajo control.. su dinámica es súper graciosa y a la vez conmovedora, ver a Kosame entrar en pánico por las ideas descabelladas de Appare nunca deja de ser divertido. Pero también poco a poco ves como llegan a confiar el uno al otro y se apoyan mutuamente.. es ese tipo de desarrollo de personajes que te hace preocuparte profundamente por lo que les sucederá.

Talking a bit about the characters, the cast is super diverse... we have Hototo, a Native American boy who seeks justice for his family... Jing Xialian, a Chinese mechanic who dreams of becoming a racer despite the blunt sexism of the time... and Leon, a European playboy who is trying to prove himself to his family and thus gain a lot of recognition. Each racer has his own story and motives, and their vehicles perfectly reflect their personalities.. for example, Appare's eccentric steam engine is as strange and weird as he is.. while Jing's self-improvised car reflects his ingenuity and determination, and so on with the rest of the characters.. it's details like these that make the series so visually and emotionally engaging.
Now, let's talk a bit about the animation, I thought it was spectacular... the combination of 2D and 3D animation is flawless, especially during the racing scenes... normally I'm not a big fan of 3D in anime, as it can feel quite clunky and ugly, but here it really works, the races are dynamic and exciting, and you can really feel the speed of the song... Also, the character designs are so distinctive that you can recognize everyone at a glance, something that is crucial in a series with such a large and varied cast. The color palette is also an excellent point, I find it a total marvel... it's vibrant and adds a lot of steampunk aesthetics mixed with the wild west, I found it very original and above all striking.
There are many scenes that make you laugh out loud, I liked that a lot too.. it's entertaining to see Kosame's clumsy attempts to adapt to the American culture or the exaggerated antics of the racers to try to overtake the others.. but make no mistake, after so much comedy, the series hits you with emotional moments and pure emotion.. also with a good dose of action from time to time that remind you of all that is at stake.. as I was saying, it's a great mix that always keeps a fresh pace and a captivating story.

Hablándoles un poco sobre los personajes, el elenco es súper diverso.. tenemos a Hototo, un niño nativo americano que busca justicia para su familia.. a Jing Xialian, una mecánica china que sueña con convertirse en corredora a pesar del sexismo contundente de la época.. y a León, un playboy europeo que intenta demostrar su valía a su familia y así obtener mucho reconocimiento. Cada corredor tiene su propia historia y motivos, y sus vehículos reflejan perfectamente sus personalidades.. por ejemplo, la excéntrica máquina de vapor de Appare es tan extraña y rara como él.. mientras que el auto-improvisado de Jing refleja su ingenio y determinación, y así sucedidamente con el resto de personajes.. son detalles como estos los que hacen que la serie sea tan visual y emocionalmente atractiva.
Ahora, hablemos un poco de la animación, a mí me pareció espectacular.. la combinación de animación 2D y 3D es impecable, especialmente durante las escenas de carreras.. normalmente yo no soy un gran fanático del 3D en el anime, ya que puede sentirse bastante torpe y feo, pero aquí realmente funciona, las carreras son dinámicas y emocionantes, y realmente puedes sentir la velocidad de la canción.. Además, los diseños de los personajes son tan distintivos que puedes reconocer a todos de un solo vistazo, algo que es crucial en una serie con un elenco tan amplio y variado. La paleta de colores también es un excelente punto, me parece una total maravilla.. es vibrante y añade mucha estética steampunk mezclada con el salvaje oeste, me pareció muy original y sobre todo llamativo.
Hay muchas escenas que te hacen reír a carcajadas, eso me gustó mucho también.. es entretenido ver los intentos torpes de Kosame por adaptarse a la cultura americana o las travesuras exageradas de los corredores para intentar adelantar a los demás.. pero no te equivoques, luego de tanta comedia, la serie te golpea con momentos emotivos y de emoción pura.. también con una buena dosis de acción de vez en cuando que te recuerdan todo lo que está en juego.. como les decía, es una mezcla genial que mantiene siempre un ritmo fresco y una historia cautivadora.

One thing I want to comment is that the plot can sometimes feel a bit predictable... for example, some twists can be seen coming from afar, but honestly it didn't take away from the feeling of originality in the work at all.. I enjoyed it quite a bit, as the execution is so good that you are still deeply involved.. and I thought the themes were great, this is an anime that tells us about friendship, self-improvement, fighting adversity, being true to yourself, and so on... these are universal, interesting themes, and I like how they are handled very carefully. You end up rooting for all of these characters, not just the main characters.. and you come to believe that anyone can end up winning the big race, you really hope that everyone achieves their personal goals. One character that really surprised me was Jing, her fight against sexism feels very real and relatable.. her determination to prove herself is inspiring, she's easily my favorite character.
I mean, who wouldn't love a cool mechanic who refuses to let society dictate her worth? And then there's also Hototo to talk about... his arc is heartbreaking, but he's also a thinker, his bond with Appare and Kosame is one of the highlights of the series... I quite liked how it played out in the end. Of course, we can't forget the villains, I liked them because they are not just one dimensional bad guys, but some have surprisingly complex motives.. which adds a lot of depth to the story.. you might even find that you sympathize with some of them at specific moments. And this can also contrast a lot with the rivalries between the drivers, I found them intense, but also fun.. they all push each other to grow in unexpected ways. It feels like a real competition, where mostly everything feels really healthy and sporty.

Una cosa que quiero comentar es que la trama a veces puede sentirse un poco predecible.. por ejemplo, algunos giros se ven venir desde lejos, pero honestamente no me quitó para nada la sensación de originalidad en la obra.. la disfruté bastante, ya que la ejecución es tan buena que sigues estando profundamente involucrado.. y los temas me parecieron geniales, este es un anime que nos habla de la amistad, la superación personal, la lucha contra la adversidad, ser fiel a uno mismo, y demás.. son temas universales, interesantes, y me gusta cómo se manejan con mucho cuidado. Terminas apoyando a todos estos personajes, no solo a los protagonistas.. y llegas a creer que cualquiera puede terminar ganando la gran carrera, realmente esperas que cada uno logre sus metas personales. Un personaje que realmente me sorprendió fue Jing, su lucha contra el sexismo se siente muy real y relatable.. su determinación para demostrar su valía es inspiradora, es fácilmente mi personaje favorito.
Digo, ¿quién no amaría a una mecánica genial que se niega a dejar que la sociedad dicte su valor? Y luego también hay que hablar de Hototo.. su arco es desgarrador, pero también es pensador, su vínculo con Appare y Kosame es uno de los puntos culminantes de la serie.. me gustó bastante cómo se desarrolló al final. Claro, no podemos olvidar a los villanos, me gustaron porque no son solo malos unidimensionales, sino que algunos tienen motivos sorprendentemente complejos.. lo que agrega mucha profundidad a la historia.. incluso podrías encontrar que simpatizas con algunos de ellos en momentos específicos. Another thing I would like to mention is the soundtrack.. I think it is spectacular, it perfectly captures the energy and adventure of all the sectors. And the opening is a spectacular song.. I am sure many of you can end up humming it days later.. it is so catchy. If I had to get a little analytical and find a flaw in this series, I would say that I would have much preferred the series to have more episodes to develop some of the secondary characters, don’t get me wrong.. the main cast has an interesting development, but there are a couple of runners that I wanted to know a lot more about. I think, although it is a lot to ask for a few extra episodes, this would have made for more character development and thus I would end up falling in love completely, but hey, at the end of the day they are minor flaws in the grand scheme of things in general.
This is a series that I consider to have a lot of quality and I highly recommend it.. I give it a solid 9/10. While it's obviously not perfect, it's incredibly entertaining and has a lot of heart.. whether you like racing or not, if you're a fan of good stories and endearing characters, you can surely end up having a really good time watching it this year.. well, I hope to hear about a second season soon.. and that would be all for today. Otra cosa que me gustaría mencionar es la banda sonora.. me parece espectacular, captura perfectamente la energía y la aventura de todos los sectores. Y el opening es una canción espectacular.. seguro muchos de ustedes pueden terminar tarareándola días después.. a que es muy pegajoso. Si tuviera que ponerme un poco analítico y buscarle un defecto a esta serie, diría que me hubiera gustado mucho más que la serie tuviera más episodios para desarrollar algunos personajes secundarios, no me malinterpreten.. el elenco principal tiene un desarrollo interesante, pero hay un par de corredores sobre los que quería saber mucho más. Creo que, aunque es mucho pedir unos episodios extra, esto fuera hecho que hubiera un desarrollo más amplio de los personajes y así terminara enamorándome por completo, pero bueno, al fin y al cabo son fallos menores en el gran esquema de las cosas en general.
Esta es una serie que considero que tiene mucha calidad y la recomiendo mucho.. le doy un sólido 9/10. Aunque no es perfecta, obviamente, está increíblemente entretenida y tiene mucho corazón.. ya sea que te gusten las carreras o no, seguramente si eres fanático de las buenas historias y los personajes entrañables, puedes acabar pasando un muy buen rato viendo este año.. bueno, espero tener pronto noticias de una segunda temporada..y esto sería todo por hoy. Lo noto en esa forma de pensar de las personas fans de este anime, luego de meditar bastante, lo primero que pienso es que Ranma es un pendejo jaja pero si tuviera que elegir un bando de estos triángulos amorosos en conflicto, sería el de Shampoo porque es que en todo mi ser quede enamorado de su forma tan viva, jocosa, dinámica, atractiva con sus vestuarios, me encanta Akane pero es que WoW quedo sorprendido ante todo el dinamismo de Shampoo que opaca, anula, pulveriza el actuar de Akane.

Para aquellos que son fans desde antaño de este anime o ya lo han visto por completo en Netflix, díganme en comentarios que piensan de esta rivalidad y si apoyan o empatizan con alguna de ellas en especifico, mi conclusión es que el público en su mayoría esta junto a Shampoo la verdadera protagonista en alma de Ranma 1/2.

Aspectos a criticar porque claro que los hay y son varios, primero las voces, soy de habla hispana pero no pude tolerar las voces en español, elegí escuchar en ingles y esta version engrana en alto nivel con el sentimiento, presencia y momentos cómicos de los personajes, te recomiendo esta opción para ver el anime.

El Opening como animación y dinámica de escenas es entretenido pero como música no llega nunca al nivel que ofrece el opening de antaño que con su ingenuidad, sencillez y estructura tradicional sigue siendo mi favorito.

La gamma de colores tan pasteles, son demasiado claros para mi gusto, como extraño esos colores opacos y fuertes del anime de antaño, definitivamente me quedo con aquella visual que parece mas pintura.

Espero con esta reseña se animen a ver Ranma 1/2 y a unirse a este oceano de espectadores en el cual tambien estoy yo como una gota mas que espera felizmente el siguiente capitulo de esta jocosa aventura.

La cosa no termina allí, hasta la hermana de Akane, Nabiki Tendo en una ocasión, saca partido de una discusión trivial entre hermanas, y se vuelve momentáneamente la novia oficial de Ranma. Ranma 1/2 II: Anything Goes Martial arts was meant to be the sequel to Ranma 1/2: Hard Battle in the U.S. but the company that owned the rights went out of business before releasing it. It was released in Japan as Ranma 1/2: Super-Skill Wild Dance Chapter.

Ranma 1/2: Hard Battle was released in 1993. It's a decent if fairly average 2D fighting game but its real appeal was probably the Ranma 1/2 license. There weren't a huge number of anime games at the time (at least in North America) and this was one of the few on the Super Nintendo.

It's interesting that they were far enough along towards releasing the game that ads were produced and published. I would think that the game would have been available about the same time that the ads hit the street.
