Tuve la oportunidad de ver este anime por recomendación Y la verdad en un principio no tenía muchos ánimos porque creí que iba a ser la típica historia isekai donde un chico termina siendo trasladado a un universo medieval y de ahí empezaría a hacer un anime simple de comedia con ciertas dosis de aventura, pero el anime es mucho más profundo de lo que parece De hecho el mismo trata de que el protagonista tiene la oportunidad de revivir cuántas veces quiera pero atrasándolo en el tiempo, esto ocasiona diversos traumas y diversas consecuencias según las decisiones que vaya tomando Ya que en su afán de querer salvarlos a todos termina pasando cosas realmente horribles.

El propio anime la verdad es que es muy filosófico y es muy reflexivo porque nos demuestra como pequeños cambios que hacemos en ciertas situaciones pueden tener variables muy diferentes de hecho el anime te lo demuestra que radicalmente dependiendo de las acciones del protagonista las cosas pueden cambiar de maneras impresionantes, Y la verdad es que según van avanzando las temporadas podemos ver el desarrollo a nivel de madurez del protagonista y no solamente a él sino de los personajes que le rodean.

El anime consta como tal de tres temporadas y una película y la verdad es que lo puedo recomendar muchísimo no es un anime básico de ver Es verdad que tiene los típicos momentos de acción y de comedia sí pero la parte reflexiva en Cómo afronta el protagonista los traumas que está viviendo según las muertes que le vaya sucediendo la verdad es que lo hace ser una total joya y no solamente eso sino como el mismo a través de su propia madurez va ayudando a los demás a alcanzar su mayor potencial.
The anime consists of three seasons and a movie, and I can highly recommend it. It's not your typical anime. It does have the usual action and comedy moments, but the reflective part, how the protagonist deals with the traumas he is experiencing as a result of the deaths that happen to him, is what makes it a real gem. Not only that, but as he matures, he helps others reach their full potential. helps others reach their full potential.

However, there are aspects I'd like to see further developed. Emilia's character development, while it has advanced in recent seasons, at times feels overshadowed by Subaru's drama and needs more defining moments outside of her relationship with him. Also, despite the revelations, there are still many loose ends regarding the exact nature of her power, the scope of Satella, the Witch of Jealousy's, and the intricate web of political intrigue surrounding the Royal Selection. The interaction with the Witch Cult, while terrifying, at times feels more like a temporary block than a fully articulated threat. It's to be expected that the end of the confrontation between Subaru and the dark forces is still coming, especially considering the third season is currently airing.
Sin embargo, hay aspectos que me gustaría ver profundizar. El desarrollo del personaje de Emilia, aunque ha avanzado en las temporadas más recientes, por momentos se siente eclipsado por el drama de Subaru y necesita más momentos definitorios fuera de su relación con él. Re:Zero is an anime loved by many and hated by many others, and I have previously expressed my disdain for the isekai but I still give them a chance. This anime in particular I started watching it with great expectations, but it was really a disappointment and it's a shame because I confess that it looked quite interesting at the beginning but as the chapters went by I got more and more disappointed, so much so that I thought I'd better not give it a chance (with all due respect). There are no characters that I find more irritating in that series than the Ram and Rem, especially Rem, who seemed to live and breathe only for the main character who was just looking out for Emilia.
Re:Zero es un anime amado por muchos y odiado por muchos otros,y yo anteriormente he expresado mi desprecio por los isekai pero aun así les doy una oportunidad. Este anime en particular yo empecé viendolo con mucha expectativa, pero realmente fue una decepción y es una pena porque confieso que se veía bastante interesante al principio pero a medida de que pasaban los capitulos me decepcionaba cada vez más tanto, que pensé en que mejor no le fuese dado oportunidad a esa cochinada (con todo respeto). No hay personajes que me parezcan mas irritantes en esa serie que las Ram y Rem, sobretodo Rem,que parece que vivía y respiraba solo por el prota que no mas estaba pendiente de Emilia.
I watched this anime a long time ago and I only watched the first season, I really wanted some isekai to make me change my mind, but that was not the case, if you like Re:Zero it's fine, this is just my opinion that nobody asked for. I understand that not all series are for everyone and well, the isekai genre is not exactly for me or at least there has not been one that seriously catches my attention, I'm not closed to the possibility that I like some but that is not and will not be the case of this anime that in my not so humble opinion, should not have all that recognition or all those seasons. Vi este anime hace mucho tiempo y sólo vi la primera temporada, en serio quería que algún isekai me hiciera cambiar de opinión, pero ese no fue el caso, si a ti te gusta Re:Zero está muy bien esta es solo mi opinión que nadie pidió. Igual entiendo que no todas las series son para todos y bueno, el genero isekai no es precisamente para mi o al menos no ha habido uno que en serio capte mi atención, de igual forma no estoy cerrada a la posibilidad de que alguno me guste pero ese no es ni será el caso de este anime que en mi no tan humilde opinión, no debería tener todo ese reconocimiento ni todas esas temporadas. Re:Zero is an anime that falls under the isekai genre ( which means other-world) with incredible world building, storytelling and beautiful character. Created by Tappei Nagatsuki based on manga/ light novel of the same name, Re:zero focuses on Subaru Natsuki an average teenage boy living in Japan before he was suddenly teleported to another world, one that is filled with magic, mystical creatures with a medieval setting. Unlike most typical isekai anime, the protagonist (Subaru) does not possess any overpowered skills, magical abilities or combat knowledge which is the usual narrative for most isekai anime as the protagonists are known for having a unique ability that sets him apart and gives him an added edge over antagonists or conflicts that may arise. The only known ability Subaru has is the RETURN BY DEATH SKILL. This is quite a bizarre skill which allows the main character to return to a fixed point in time after he dies.
After Subaru is relocated to an entirely different world without consent or a heads-up, he tries to navigate in this new world without any knowledge, powers or any form of financial assistance, he is rescued by a half elf known as Emilia from a gang of hoodlums. Grateful to her for saving him, Subaru immediately falls in love with her vows to protect from danger and also ensures that she sits on the throne of the kingdom as she is one of the eligible candidates to become it's monarch.
Subaru is not your everyday traditional hero who saves the day with few skirmishes along the way. Subaru has to die over and over again before he is able to achieve a single victory and what's worse is that the trauma from those experiences move on with him even after he goes back in time. He gets to fill the pain, the torture which happens way too often.
There are also other notable characters like Rem and Ram who are twin maids of Emilia with Rem eventually falling in love with the hero, puck a magical beast/spirit that belongs to Emilia and so many other characters that add depth to the story.
Re:zero is not a full on romance anime however there is a kind of a love triangle between Rem, Subaru and Emilia. If you are looking for an anime that blends, fantasy, isekai, awesome character development, psychological characteristics, a little bit of love etc, then you can't look any further than this.

If you don’t know this anime I recommend it and I hope you enjoy it.
La trama se complica aún más cuando el comienza a sospechar que la situación con Misaki tiene que ver con las muertes, pero no puedo explicar toda la trama porque se perderían gran parte de la emoción del anime, de cierto modo mantener el misterio forma parte de lo divertido de ver animes de este estilo, por otro lado debo decir que la estética del anime es oscura cuando es necesario, las muertes son bastante sangrientas en algunos casos, pero también hay imágenes muy bonitas, una de la cosas que me llama más la atención es que el personaje de Misaki Mei es como una muñeca Dollfie de estilo lolita, también la música del opening y el ending me encantan. Si no conocen este anime lo recomiendo y espero lo disfruten.

I don't normally watch isekai. It's just not one of the genres that I've found alluring or even interesting.
Despite that, it is becoming an increasingly popular genre of anime with webtoons, manga and anime of the genre being released/created yearly by the dozens.
So despite my earlier reluctance to watch shows of the genre, there are some Isekai shows I've been forced to take note of and eventually watch

I decided to begin this anime because of the numerous good reviews I've read about it, it has always been on my list, but the fact that the season 3 is coming up soon (next week actually) bumped it up to immediately after Spice and The Wolf (review coming later)
I remember my first sentence of this post being...
I don't normally watch isekai...
But I put it to you. If all Isekai show's I watch are as gripping, crazy and mentally damaging as this; then I just might dive deeply into the isekai genre as a whole.
This show was splendid to watch, overally wonderful, yet there are somethings that I need to point out.
What I Liked

##### - A realistic MC
Natsuki Subaru was so realistic it was unbelievable. He was written so well and portrayed beautifully as a normal human teenager who is versed with the anime genre and isekai theme.
He acted just how a boy transported to another world would act, and totally not how I expected him to act based on some experiences I've had with some other isekai MCs.
I loved his reactions and how he used his power of reincarnation. At first not understanding it, then finally realizing how awesome and potentially scary it could be.
The question of "How many times it could be used?" Was legit stolen from my mind when he asked it on the show.
Even with the power, his fear of death was still a nice touch.

##### - The Flawless Writing
With a story of reincarnation like this, it's quite easy to mix some things up and for some scenes to not link or make sense.
Endless possibilities could come up with this and when writing on something as huge as "endless possibilities" the amount of potential mistakes to be made are **endless**.
Regardless, I saw nothing and all parts of the stories linked quite well.
In fact, I loved how they made the reincarnation bit game like with that specific respawn tune.
It made the ability to look even more believable as otherworldly.

##### - The Psychology Of The Movie.
What this show didn't hide in the slightest is the pain amd suffering of the MC.
Both physically and mentally, he's one of the few isekai MC's that has had a thorough beat down.
Numerous deaths and respawn is sure to have an impact on the mind of the user and this show vividly showed it.

Espero que se encuentren muy bien en el día de hoy, y en esta ocasión les quiero compartir una reseña con mi opinión personal del anime Re:Zero - Starting Life un Another World. Uno de los pocos isekais que ha logrado llamar mi atención y cautivarme, la verdad, yo nunca he sido un fanático de los animes isekai. Creo que no he tocado el tema todavía por aquí, pero la verdad son muy pocos los animes isekais que me han gustado.. no es mi tipo de género. Creo que casi nunca veo este tipo de animes, la mayoría me parecen súper tontos, predecibles, y innecesarios, la verdad.. se ha vuelto un género que ha traído series tan malas.. Pero bueno, antes de que empezaran las avalanchas de animes isekais, se estrenó ReZero, que fue uno de los primeros pioneros, por así decirlo, en traer animes isekais decentes.
Fue el primero de todos que me cautivó verdaderamente y no me hizo aborrecerlo, como a los demás, desde el momento que comienza, parece ser un típico isekai del montón, sin nada nuevo que ofrecer, pero rápidamente se convierte en una serie capaz de llenarte de emociones extremas y darte varios giros inesperados que pueden dejarte con la boca abierta. The protagonist, Subaru Natsuki, ends up arriving to this new world in a mysterious way, but unlike other heroes, he doesn't receive extraordinary superhuman abilities, on the contrary, this is a pretty normal guy, who had a pretty mundane life and few physical abilities.... The only thing that seems to stand out about his personality is his persistence, and he soon ends up discovering that every time he dies in this world, he revives at a specific point in the past retaining all his previous memories, obviously being the only one who realizes this.. this makes his life seem as if it were a kind of video game with save points. Pero rápidamente esta ilusión se desmorona completamente.. la trama, conforme avanzan los episodios, da un giro oscuro muy interesante, ya que este mundo es mucho más complicado, tenebroso y desolado de lo que él creía. Además, lo que se puede ver al principio como un truco divertido, se convierte rápidamente en una maldición que le obliga a experimentar una y otra vez el dolor de morir de formas muy crueles, y peor aún, ver a aquellos que ama sufrir terribles consecuencias una y otra vez.
The story starts to develop based on this series of repetitions that Subaru does when he dies, but instead of this feeling tedious or boring, each cycle adds a new layer of depth to both the plot and its characters. I think that, although it comes a little late, you start to feel the development of this protagonist, and coming towards the end of the series, it is one of the highlights that this anime has. His growth as a character, as I tell you, is slow, but when you get to that climax it is really shocking.. he is not the typical invincible hero, he is very vulnerable, often selfish and makes terrible mistakes that are accompanied by beatings or a lot of pain.. and this is precisely why his evolution is so satisfying. As for the other characters, ReZero does an incredible job of giving them unparalleled depth and nuance.
Emilia, the main pretty girl and Subaru's deep love, at the beginning seems to be another typical love interest, the typical helpless girl without more, but her kindness and her fight against discrimination for being a half-elf make her a very interesting character, and as the story progresses, we discover that her past and all the interesting history surrounding her, becomes very dark and for sure many will want to know about her.... On the other hand we have Rem, which is my favorite character of the whole show, she really has some incredible moments... I think this character is one of the ones that will surely make many people connect with the series. She has become one of the most beloved anime girls and I think it's pretty understandable why. She is an ogre/demon that both her action scenes, her emotional scenes, everything that involves this character in the season, in this series is just amazing... and if you feel that I speak a little half-heartedly is because I want to avoid spoilers haha, but without a doubt she steals the show when she appears.
La historia se empieza a desarrollar en base a esta serie de repeticiones que Subaru hace al morir, pero en lugar de sentirse esto como algo tedioso o aburrido, cada ciclo añade una nueva capa de profundidad tanto a la trama como a sus personajes. Ya que, de cierta manera, cada vez que se reinicia la vida de Subaru, se tienen que cambiar ciertas cosas.. me pareció muy interesante como el protagonista aprende lentamente a lidiar con su impotencia, cada muerte le va enseñando algo nuevo, no solo sobre el mundo en el que está atrapado, sino sobre sí mismo.
Creo que, aunque llega un poco tarde, se empieza a sentir el desarrollo de este protagonista, y llegando hacia el final de la serie, es uno de los aspectos más destacados que tiene este anime. En cuanto a los demás personajes, ReZero hace un trabajo increíble al darles una profundidad y matices inigualables.

Se ha convertido en una de las chicas del anime más queridas y creo que se entiende bastante por qué. Es una ogro/ demonio que tanto sus escenas de acción, sus escenas emotivas, todo lo que envuelve a este personaje en la temporada, en esta serie es simplemente increíble.. y si sienten que hablo un poco a medias es porque quiero evitar spoilers jaja, pero sin duda se roba el show cuando aparece.

The battle scenes for the most part are dynamic and well choreographed, but where the animation really shines is in the moments of psychological tension... all the facial expressions, especially Subaru's in his moments of greatest despair, are incredibly detailed and perfectly convey the emotional weight that this character carries.... Of course, the music also plays a crucial role in the whole atmosphere of the anime, I found the soundtrack spectacular. It has very interesting pieces and both the openings and endings are super good... I think there are several tracks that I have downloaded to have them in my personal player to listen to them. I'm sure the lovers of Japanese songs will be very satisfied.
El mundo en el cual se desarrolla esta historia está lleno de unos detalles que me parecieron bastante intrigantes, desde los distintos misterios políticos que rodean al reino hasta las oscuras criaturas que acechan, y todas las amenazas que se van desarrollando y las cuales nuestros héroes deben enfrentar.. creo que siempre hay un trasfondo muy interesante que te deja con ganas de saber más y más. El uso de la magia y las distintas bestias que aparecen aportan elementos clásicos de fantasía, pero les dan un toque bastante siniestro que mantiene la tensión constante, la animación me pareció muy buena, el estudio White Fox creo que hizo un trabajo excelente capturar tanto los momentos de acción intensa como los momentos más emotivos y trágicos.
Las escenas de batallas en su mayoría son dinámicas y bien coreografiadas, pero donde realmente brilla la animación es en los momentos de tensión psicológica.. todas las expresiones faciales, especialmente las de Subaru en sus momentos de mayor desesperación, son increíblemente detalladas y transmiten perfectamente el peso emocional que este personaje carga.. One of the things I liked most about this anime is its ability to really make you care about what's at stake. It's not just about the protagonist trying to save his life, but we'll see Subaru try to save everyone else, often having to sacrifice himself emotionally throughout the process.... The consequences of his actions have a real heavy weight, and the series is not afraid to show the darker side of humanity in general, both the protagonist and the supporting characters, no one here is perfect or a saint. Every mistake has repercussions, and every small victory feels earned through all the effort and pain these characters have had to go through....
Obviously, it's not a perfect series, there are moments where the narrative can feel a bit stretched, and Subaru, despite having quite a bit of complexity, can be irritating at times, I think it's a personal thing of mine, and it's something I have against some screaming characters, and well, I think they personally irritate me a little... Subaru sometimes has some very outrageous scenes that I feel don't quite connect with me, but it's not something too serious.
Although of course, like every character, he makes impulsive decisions and sometimes doesn't listen to others, and this ends up costing him quite dearly.. it's frustrating to see him fall into certain specific mistakes many times, but it's within his development, of course. Personally I think, this series will take you through a very intense emotional journey, full of highs and lows, it's not your typical boring isekai, it's the opposite of the word simplicity.

The popular anime Re:Zero is based on a Web Novel. While the anime follows the main story, there are multiple side stories written by the author. (Here's the official Japanese site.) Some of them are included in the main Light Novels while others are only available on the ReZero Web Novel page.
The biggest Side Stories of ReZero are the "What if" scenarios. Subaru made many life-changing decisions in the main story. What if he made another choice?
These stories are named according to the "sin" Subaru commits by making the choice, such as Greed IF that follows Subaru making a contract with the Witch of Greed. I plan on reading all of them, but for now, the only side story I have read is "Sloth IF."
This side story is set follows Subaru and Rem's lives after they ran away from the Kingdom of Luganica. When Subaru asked Rem to run away with him in the main story, she told him "Giving doesn't suit you." In the Sloth IF timeline, she accepted his offer instead, and they live away in Kararagi state.
I first read the Rem Side Story (as I call it) in 2018 after I watched the first season of the anime. The story wasn't complete at the time, but I read all the translated chapters. A few months after that, I realized that Light Novel 9 adapted some of it along with illustrations. The full story was released in Light Novel form much later, I would love to read that in the future.
What I didn't know is that the Light Novel version was adapted in the Manga as well. It's adapted in the Manga of Arc 3: Truth of Zero Volume 11/Chapter 51.
Ch.51 comes after the ending and before the Epilogue of Arc 3 in the Manga. (If you're an anime fan, you can read it after the ending of Director Cut of season 1, or Episode 1 of Season 2.)
The rest of this article is a SPOILER if you plan on reading the Side Story. The manga chapter serves as the epilogue to the Sloth IF and it abridges the events that led to this ending.
This story is set 8 years after the moment Rem agreed to run away with Subaru. Now they're married and have two children. Subaru and Rem's hair are longer, (she kind of looks like Emilia) and they're living their best lives.
But it's not a completely happy ending as there's always the nagging thought of "Did we make the right choice?" deep inside. It's true that Subaru has the cutest wife ever, but they went to live this life knowing they're abandoning their closest friends to die. Emilia is dead in this timeline, and so Rem's twin sister: Ram.
But Subaru wouldn't let this decision be the wrong one, and he dedicated his life to making Rem the happiest woman alive, and be an example worth following for his Half-Oni Son.
Speaking about Subaru and Rem's children. Their son Regil and daughter Spica are both named after stars like Subaru himself. Rem didn't understand the meaning of the names at first but she loved him enough to let him name them.
Like his mother, Rigel could only manifest one horn. It was never explained if it was because he's a Half-Oni or because of her not having the second horn as she should. Regil doesn't understand the problem with having one horn. Having multiple horns will look stupid anyway.
I'm really glad I got to experience the Sloth IF side story, and that it was adapted in the Manga. We probably won't get a version of this in the anime, so I'm happy to see older Rem for a full manga chapter. This is probably the closest thing we'll get to Subaru and Rem romance in ReZero story, and I'll take it!
(P.S. The Manga version had a panel of an imaginary older Spica and she looks adorable.)

...is the perfect summation of this anime into 12 words. Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World tells the story of a reclusive shut-in NEET who was suddenly sent into a fantasy world minutes after buying some things in a local Japanese convenience store.
Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World starts off with a very cliche and a very predictable vibe. A painfully plain, boring, shut-in, reclusive and clueless guy who was suddenly transported into another world wherein he immediately met and befriend a very pretty silver-haired elf-girl who unsurprisingly have some kind of hidden connection to the worst evil witch in history. Pretty cliche so far right? We have seen this kind of formula before, but is this anime worth continuing?
YES! Minutes before meeting the beautiful silver-haired elf girl who initially introduces herself as Satella, who is in the process of looking for a thief named Felt who supposedly stole her insignia. Hearing Satella's predicament, our plain clueless male lead agrees to help her and the two ended up at the city slumps wherein they were both brutally murdered.
You read that one right! Half-way through the first episode our main leads are already dead. They where killed right off the bat! Where else could you see an anime like this one? This is what makes Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World interesting and unique. It also starts to shine out at this point.
It turns out our male lead have a very unique ability called "Return by Death" which enables him to go back to a previous point in time where he is still alive and safe from any harm which can only be triggered if he dies. The worst part about this is that only he can remember all the memories and experiences he gained from his previous life.
Clueless about his ability, Subaru believed at first that everything was just a dream and everything was only a dejavu. He then met again Satella for the second time and was surprised when she hated being called Satella. It turns out that Satella is not her real name but was the name of the worst evil witch in history who unsurprisingly looks a lot like her. Subaru then again heard her predicament and offered again his help on which the two wind up again in the city slumps to search for the thief but ended up being brutally killed once again.
The premise of Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World is somewhat like a character in an rpg game wherein the moment the character dies he is reincarnated at the last checkpoint where he is forced to complete the said mission to escape the repetitive loop.
Subaru must use this unique ability of his to save the people around him by using trial and error. Gaining the knowledge and experiences from his last life, Subaru can easily predict what will happen and can then make logical choices based on those.
At some point this little decisions of his and minor change in one's action can have a huge impact in the flow of the projected story. Subaru must then use this advantage to help defeat his opponents and understand what the hell is going on with him.
Overall, my thoughts above might not do justice about how awesome this anime series is. It's hard to talk about something while holding back major information btw just so to avoid spoilers. But one thing is for sure, Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World is a very awesome anime that one should watch in his lifetime. The art and animation is good. The characters are all adorable and none of them are annoying. The battle scenes are surprisingly well done and the plot is decent enough for one to enjoy and it has a good pacing too. Moreover, they have characters in a maid outfit, so..
