어떤 사람을 봤을때 이 사람은 내 과다 하고 느껴지는 순간이 있습니다. 서로 다른 배경에서 자랐어도 말 몇번, 행동몇번을 관찰하면 서로 알수있지만 직접 말하기는 꺼려지는 현상이 존재합니다. 심지어는 적이지만 저놈도 내과군 하는 현상또한 존재합니다. 인디아 스토커(미아 와시코브스카 분)는 아버지가 죽고 난뒤 찾아온 삼촌(찰리, 매튜 구드 분)이라는 남자가 자기 과임을 알아챕니다. 스토커집안은 머리가 좋고 예민하기 때문에 보통 사람과 교제를 나누기는 힘든 성격을 가지고 있습니다. 인디아가 화분 안의 모양을 볼 수 있을 정도로 예민한 성격을 삼촌의 요리는 완전히 충족시키는데다가 섬세한 피아노 연주까지 감동받을 정도로 해내는 삼촌을 인정할 수 밖에 없습니다. 문제는 인디아는 아버지와 함께 작은 나쁜짓을 계속 해왔었기 때문에 삼촌도 내과라면 나쁜짓을…
