    El día de hoy vengo con una serie que cuando la vi en su primera temporada el año pasado me sorprendió mucho porque nunca pensé que iba a encontrar lo que terminé viendo y disfrutando. Y es que como ya viene siendo costumbre desde hace un tiempo lo que está haciendo HBO con sus series pareciera que no tiene rivalidad ni competencia con respecto a otras plataformas, lo dije cuando les hablé de Tokyo Vice y ahora lo vuelvo a hacer con esta historia. Hasta el día de hoy no he visto la primera serie realmente mala de este servicio de streaming.

    Today I come with a series that when I saw it in its first season last year I was very surprised because I never thought I would find what I ended up watching and enjoying. And as has been customary for some time now, what HBO is doing with its series seems to have no rivalry or competition with respect to other platforms, I said it when I told you about Tokyo Vice and now I do it again with this story. To this day I have not seen the first really bad series of this streaming service.

    The Flight Attendant es una historia la cual es un constante viaje a toda velocidad, en ella no hay pausas, no las hubo en la primera temporada y tampoco las habrá acá. Es un trama que involucra asesinatos, grandes cantidades de conspiraciones y muchos problemas de alcoholismo y salud mental, si cabe el termino, de parte de nuestra protagonista. Que hablando de ella, sin duda el gran atractivo de esta serie es Kaley Cuoco y lo increíblemente buena que es actuando, diría que es una actriz un poco infravalorada. Pero bueno, no quiero perder más tiempo y vamos a lo que fue esta segunda parte de esta trama...

    The Flight Attendant is a story which is a constant journey at full speed, in it there are no pauses, there were none in the first season and there will be none here either. It is a plot that involves murders, large amounts of conspiracies and many problems of alcoholism and mental health, if the term fits, on the part of our protagonist. Speaking of her, without a doubt the great attraction of this series is Kaley Cuoco and how incredibly good she is at acting, I'd say she's a bit of an underrated actress. But well, I don't want to waste any more time and let's go to what was this second part of this plot....

    Esta segunda temporada continua presente en la caótica vida de Cassie Bowden, nuestra asistente de vuelo quien está involucrada en mucho más que un asesinato. Tras el desastre de la temporada anterior en esta comenzamos a ver a una Cassie que tal parece puso su vida un poco más en orden de lo que esperábamos, es parte activa del grupo Alcohólicos Anónimos llevando un año sobria, tiene nueva pareja, le va bien en su trabajo, todo parece estar muy estable y encaminado hasta que de la nada y por sorpresa simplemente no lo está. Y es que ahora, nada más y nada menos, Cassie es un nuevo activo de la CIA y su misión será la de investigar a un hombre misterioso en el extranjero.

    This second season continues to follow the chaotic life of Cassie Bowden, our flight attendant who is involved in much more than a murder. After the disaster of the previous season in this one we begin to see a Cassie who seems to have put her life a little more in order than we expected, she is an active part of the Alcoholics Anonymous group being sober for a year, she has a new partner, she is doing well in her job, everything seems to be very stable and on track until suddenly and by surprise it simply is not. And now, nothing more and nothing less, Cassie is a new asset of the CIA and her mission will be to investigate a mysterious man abroad.

    Todo se complica desde el momento en el que le ponen esta nueva tarea porque Cassie es una persona que por más bien que quiera hacer todo le termina saliendo mal. Resulta que delante de sus ojos este hombre en cuestión es asesinado y es justo acá donde la vida de nuestra asistente de vuelo se convierte en un verdadero caos estando por segunda vez en medio de la muerte. De aquí en adelante da inicio al viaje del que les hablé anteriormente, donde todo comienza a transcurrir muy rápido y frenéticamente. Un viaje lleno de mucho suspenso pero siempre de la mano de la comedia, puede parecer raro pero no lo es y es que dada la naturaleza de esta serie es realmente perfecto.

    Everything gets complicated from the moment she is given this new task because Cassie is a person that no matter how well she wants to do everything ends up going wrong. It turns out that in front of her eyes this man in question is murdered and it is right here where the life of our flight attendant becomes a real chaos being for the second time in the middle of death. From this point on, the journey I mentioned before begins, where everything starts to happen very fast and frantically. A journey full of suspense but always hand in hand with comedy, it may seem strange but it is not and given the nature of this series is really perfect.

    Retomando un poco la parte final del párrafo anterior esta serie puede parecer una mera comedia pero la verdad es que no lo es, para nada. Es una historia que sabe combinar el suspenso definido por la tensión que produce en el espectador que está disfrutando la serie con dosis de comedia y risas como un método para bajar un poco ese "estrés". Porque si amigos, es una serie que conforme va avanzando obviamente más te vas involucrando en una trama donde existe una amenaza constante de que algo grave va a pasar en cualquier momento ya que TODO forma de una conspiración, solo que nuestros protagonistas no lo saben. Nosotros tampoco pero es lo más obvio.

    Returning a little to the final part of the previous paragraph, this series may seem to be a mere comedy but the truth is that it is not, not at all. It is a story that knows how to combine the suspense defined by the tension it produces in the viewer who is enjoying the series with doses of comedy and laughter as a method to lower a little of that "stress". Because yes friends, it is a series that as it progresses obviously the more you get involved in a plot where there is a constant threat that something serious is going to happen at any time because EVERYTHING is part of a conspiracy, only that our protagonists do not know it. Neither do we but it's the obvious.

    Me llamó poderosamente la atención las buenas escenas de persecución, explosiones, muy dignas de una serie o película de esos géneros, y la forma en como te van armando todo para que al final esta trama sea como un gran rompecabezas en donde cada uno de nosotros tiene, con las piezas que de vez en cuando vamos descubriendo, ir armando un panorama que por donde lo veas es oscuro. Y es tan oscuro porque dentro de la trama central de Cassie existen dos historias más que van un poco en paralelo que son más o iguales de peligrosas, donde una de ellas involucra a Megan, la mejor amiga de Cassandra quien está siendo perseguida tanto por el gobierno de los Estados Unidos y por el gobierno norcoreano. Es que por donde la veas te garantizo que no te vas a aburrir.

    I was very impressed by the good chase scenes, explosions, very worthy of a series or movie of those genres, and the way they put everything together so that in the end this plot is like a big puzzle where each one of us has, with the pieces that we discover from time to time, to put together a picture that is dark from every point of view. And it's so dark because within Cassie's central plot there are two other stories that go a little bit in parallel that are more or equally dangerous, where one of them involves Megan, Cassandra's best friend who is being persecuted by both the U.S. government and the North Korean government. Wherever you watch it, I guarantee you won't be bored.

    La comedia es otro de los grandes ingredientes porque si bien es verdad no es el género predominante es algo que Kaley se le da muy bien. Te vas a reír, vas a llagar empatizar con los problemas de Cassie porque en su mayoría todos hemos estado de alguna forma en ellos, vas a vivir la intriga y la zozobra del querer saber que es lo que realmente está pasando, puede que entres un poco en tensión por los mismos sentimientos que acabo de nombrar pero sobretodo la vas a pasar bien. Es una de as serie más completas que he visto en lo que trama se refiere, es tal cual una montaña rusa de emociones.

    The comedy is another great ingredient because although it is true that it is not the predominant genre, it is something that Kaley is very good at. You will laugh, you will empathize with Cassie's problems because most of us have all been in some way in them, you will live the intrigue and anxiety of wanting to know what is really going on, you may enter a little tension for the same feelings that I just mentioned but above all you will have a good time. It is one of the most complete series I've seen as far as plot is concerned, it is such a roller coaster of emotions.

    Y la pilar de todo eso es Kaley Cuoco. La versatilidad que se le ve en esta temporada, por encima de la primera que de por si fue muy buena, es extraordinaria. Puede estar en el mejor humor y momento posible y con su vida totalmente en orden y resuelta y en un chasquido la vemos en una absoluta depresión con ataques de ansiedad o inmersa en una personalidad llena de adrenalina en donde lo que quiere es acabar con todo y resolver lo que la CIA y la policía no ha podido. Si alguien quiere ver lo buena actriz que es Kaley yo le recomendaría esta serie. Que nadie se quede con su papel de Penny en The Big Bang Theory, eso sería no hacerle justicia.

    And the pillar of it all is Kaley Cuoco. The versatility seen in this season, over and above the first season which in itself was very good, is extraordinary. She can be in the best mood and moment possible and with her life totally in order and resolved and in a snap we see her in an absolute depression with anxiety attacks or immersed in a personality full of adrenaline where what she wants is to end everything and solve what the CIA and the police have not been able to. If anyone wants to see how good an actress Kaley is I would recommend this series. Nobody should stick with her role as Penny in The Big Bang Theory, that would be not doing her justice.

    Si tuviera que escoger a otros personajes sin duda sería esta pareja, Annie (Zosia Mamet) quien es la hermana de Cassie junto a Max (Deniz Akdenuz) quien es su novio. Ellos acá son las cabezas pensantes, la ayuda emocional que en muchas ocasiones Cassie necesita y son lo que la ayudarán también en otras que decirlas sería spoiler. La personalidad de Annie es increíble porque dentro de esa cordura hay un pequeño remolino de nervios e inseguridades que de verdad hacen entrañable al personaje, se van a reír mucho con ella, ya se los digo.

    If I had to choose other characters it would definitely be this couple, Annie (Zosia Mamet) who is Cassie's sister along with Max (Deniz Akdenuz) who is her boyfriend. They are the thinking heads here, the emotional help that Cassie needs in many occasions and they are what will help her also in others that to say them would be a spoiler. Annie's personality is incredible because within that sanity there is a little whirlwind of nerves and insecurities that really make the character endearing, you will laugh a lot with her, I'm telling you.

    Para ir finalizando, con esta segunda temporada y sin conocimiento hasta el día de hoy si va a haber una tercera, les puedo decir que esta serie es otra de las grandes cosas que se conseguirán en HBO. Siento que no la han visto lo suficiente o tanto como deberían y creo que es una lastima porque la historia vale mucho la pena. Es de esas series que no hacen mucho ruido o no son tan mediáticas pero cumplen por todo lo alto con todas expectativas. Repito: suspenso, drama, comedia, acción, todo en una solo trama. Trama que no aburre y no cansa porque cada capitulo es igual o más vertiginoso que el otro en donde verán mucho el "cliffhanger" ese elemento brutal cuando es bien empleado.

    In closing, with this second season and without knowing to this day if there is going to be a third, I can tell you that this series is another one of the great things that you will get on HBO. I feel like you haven't seen it enough or as much as you should and I think it's a shame because the story is very worthwhile. It's one of those series that don't make a lot of noise or aren't as media but they live up to all expectations. I repeat: suspense, drama, comedy, action, all in one plot. Plot that does not bore and does not tire because each chapter is equal or more vertiginous than the other where you will see a lot the "cliffhanger" that brutal element when it is well used.

    8/10 porque a pesar de que estamos ante una magnifica temporada con buenas criticas me gustó un poco más la primer, pero por detalles muy pequeños. Que esto no impida que la vayan a ver. La pueden encontrar en HBO Max y consta de 8 capítulos de 45 minutos de duración aproximadamente. Les dejo el tráiler. Vayan a verla , no tiene desperdicio.

    A propósito de la llegada de HBO Max a Latinoamérica hoy les quiero hablar de una muy buena serie, que ya tuve la oportunidad de ver, pero que todavía no había traído la reseña correspondiente por estos lados. Recuerdo que me la habían recomendado como una historia cómica/dramática quizás con un poco de intriga también pero que de seguro me iba a gustar y miren que así fue.

    Regarding the arrival of HBO Max in Latin America, today I want to talk about a very good series, which I had the opportunity to watch, but I had not yet brought the corresponding review in these parts. I remember that it had been recommended to me as a comic/dramatic story, perhaps with a bit of intrigue as well, but that I was sure I was going to like it and I did.

    Su protagonista Kaley Cuoco es la famosa Penny de TBBT (The Big Bang Theory) por lo que puede que ya viniéramos un poco predispuestos ya que fueron muchos años viéndola en un rol enteramente de comedia hasta ahora que llegaba con esta propuesta diferente. La cosa es que descubrí lo buena e increíble actriz que ella es y por tanto al final la serie resulta que es muy atrapante; así que vamos entonces a ver de que trata.

    Its protagonist Kaley Cuoco is the famous Penny from TBBT (The Big Bang Theory) so we may have already come a little predisposed since it was many years seeing her in an entirely comedy role until now that she came with this different proposal.     La historia da inicio en un vuelo cuyo destino final es la ciudad de Bangkok en donde Cassie Bowden, quien es una azafata y quien además también tiene cierto problema con la bebida, conoce a Alexander Sokolov (Michiel Huisman) uno de los pasajeros del vuelo. Una vez llegan a su destino deciden pasar la noche juntos, comparten una cena, etc hasta que llega el día siguiente y con él un crimen el cual cambiará sus vidas en 180 grados.

    The story begins on a flight whose final destination is the city of Bangkok where Cassie Bowden, who is a stewardess and who also has a drinking problem, meets Alexander Sokolov (Michiel Huisman) one of the passengers on the flight.     Esta serie cuando la empezamos a ver nos vamos dando cuenta que no es más que un thriller con sus toques de comedia el cual nos lleva a tres localidades (Bangkok, Nueva York y Roma) a través de los cuales Cassie está prácticamente huyendo porque ella decidió no informar nada a la policía de lo sucedido aquella noche y es que la resaca era tan grande que no recuerda absolutamente nada de lo que pasó.

    When we start watching this series we realize that it is nothing more than a thriller with touches of comedy which takes us to three locations (Bangkok, New York and Rome) through which Cassie is practically on the run because she decided not to report anything to the police about what happened that night and the hangover was so big that she does not remember anything of what happened.

    Esta decisión es el detonante de muchas calamidades y desaciertos que comienza a vivir Cassie y todo por la necesidad obvia de querer saber y encontrar al asesino porque para los ojos de todo el mundo y del mismo FBI ella es la principal sospechosa. Otro de los enigmas de esta serie es el por qué nuestra azafata tiene la necesidad de ahogar sus penas en grandes cantidades de alcohol, un trauma que parece venir de su infancia.

    This decision is the trigger of many calamities and misfortunes that Cassie begins to live and all for the obvious need to know and find the murderer because for the eyes of everyone and the FBI itself she is the main suspect. Another of the enigmas of this series is why our stewardess has the need to drown her sorrows in large quantities of alcohol, a trauma that seems to come from her childhood.

    También nos encontramos a Annie (Zosia Mamet) quien es la mejor amiga de Cassie y quien será quien la ayude y apoye en más de una ocasión. La verdad es que todo esto se convierte en una gran aventura donde lo que hay es mucha tensión y una sensación de que las cosas van salir mal en todo momento; y si a todo esto le agregamos un toque de humor o comedia negra pues el resultado termina siendo muy bueno y llamativo.

    We also meet Annie (Zosia Mamet) who is Cassie's best friend and who will help and support her on more than one occasion. The truth is that all this becomes a great adventure where there is a lot of tension and a feeling that things are going to go wrong at all times; and if we add a touch of humor or black comedy to all this, the result ends up being very good and striking.

    - Opinion.

    Lo primero que quiero decir es el gran acierto que fue Kaley Cuoco porque es una actriz que viene con una gran carga en la comedia la cual supo aprovechar y explotar para que así este personaje fuera un éxito. Otra de las cosas que realmente llamaron mi atención fueron los "cliffhanger" que siempre van a encontrar al final de cada capitulo, eso hace que la curiosidad y las ganas de descubrir quien fue el asesino, por ejemplo, aumenten y por tanto quieras seguir viendo.

    The first thing I want to say is the great success that Kaley Cuoco was because she is an actress who comes with a great load in comedy which she knew how to take advantage and exploit so that this character was a success. Another thing that really caught my attention were the "cliffhanger" that you will always find at the end of each chapter, that makes the curiosity and the desire to discover who was the murderer, for example, increase and therefore want to keep watching.

    En cuanto a los personajes les puedo decir que uno de los pocos aciertos fue el del Cassie, todos los demás no es que sean malos pero al final no trascienden y no dan un peso real e importante a la historia. Es que Cassie es un personaje con tantos problemas y traumas que realmente absorbe toda la atención y el drama que se genera en cada episodio.

    As for the characters I can tell you that one of the few successes was Cassie, all the others are not bad but in the end they do not transcend and do not give a real and important weight to the story. Cassie is a character with so many problems and traumas that really absorbs all the attention and drama that is generated in each episode.

    La realidad es que es una buena serie que si vale la pena verla, es muy divertida, tiene cambios en la trama que son realmente sorpresivos y cómicos y sobre todo logra mantener ese suspense e intriga que es una de las cosas que enganchan más de esta serie. Una nota que le puedo poner es 7.5/10 porque realmente cumplió con su objetivo el cual es entretener al espectador, así que no consigues nada que ver te la recomiendo sin ninguna duda.

    The reality is that it is a good series that if worth watching, it is very funny, has plot changes that are really surprising and funny and above all manages to maintain that suspense and intrigue that is one of the things that hook more of this series. A note that I can put is 7.5/10 because it really fulfilled its goal which is to entertain the viewer, so you do not get anything to see I recommend it without any doubt.

    I can't recall any example of a good production that successfully combined the genres of mystery and thriller with comedy, I guess there must be several ones but I have either never watched them or maybe I just forgot about them.

    This series picked my attention because the premise looked interesting, it had 2 very well-known actors that I was able to easily recognize, and it just seemed like another high-quality production from HBO.

    When it comes to good series produced by HBO, their strengths lays in the drama genre and not really in the comedy genre, so I didn't really know what to expect about this show. As I will explain in the post, this series has a fun formula that works great at the beginning but eventually, it becomes tiresome and not as enjoyable. At least that was the case with me.

    Let's first discuss the main names and then I will explain my views about this series.

    Main names associated with the series

    The main attraction of this series is the presence of Kaley Cuoco playing the main character. She is a well-known comedy actress that became popular thanks to her role in the series The Big Bang Theory that lasted more than 10 years. Besides that series, the only other 2 important productions where she has worked are this one of course, and the animated Harley Quinn series where she does voice acting. She has also worked in a lot of other productions but I believe these 3 are the main ones.

    In the series, she plays a flight attendant who loves to drink alcohol, is very promiscuous, and has a hard time keeping some discipline in her life.

    The other actor I was able to recognize was Michiel Huisman. He has worked in 3 great series of recent years, GOT, The Haunting of Hill House, and Orphan Black. He has worked in good films as well, some examples could be The Age of Adaline and The Invitation. The genres of the productions where he has worked are very varied, so he can be considered as a well-rounded actor that can be useful for several types of productions.

    In the series, he plays a mysterious and sophisticated man that hooks up with the hot flight attendant while keeping important secrets only to himself that would eventually need to be researched and discovered by the flight attendant.

    The series has a lot of directors and writers. The main one is Steve Yockey who doesn't have many experiences. He has previously worked in the series Scream and Supernatural.

    There are 6 directors in total, Susanna Fogel, Marcos Siega, Batan Silva, John Strickland, Tom Vaughan, and Glen Winter. They have varying degrees of experience but all of them mostly worked in series and the majority of these aren't very popular. I guess it would be fair to consider this group of directors as medium-level directors, meaning they aren't superstars but not entirely amateur neither.

    No recuerdo ningún ejemplo de una buena producción que combinara con éxito los géneros de misterio y thriller con comedia, supongo que debe haber varios ejemplos pero nunca los he visto o tal vez simplemente me olvidé de ellos.

    Esta serie me llamó la atención porque la premisa parecía interesante, tenía 2 actores muy conocidos que pude reconocer fácilmente y parecía otra producción de alta calidad de HBO.

    Cuando se trata de buenas series producidas por HBO, sus puntos fuertes residen en el género dramático y no realmente en el género de la comedia, así que realmente no sabía qué esperar de este programa. Como explicaré en el post, esta serie tiene una fórmula divertida que funciona muy bien al principio pero que eventualmente se vuelve tediosa y no tan disfrutable. Al menos ese fue mi caso.

    Primero discutamos los nombres principales y luego explicaré mis puntos de vista sobre esta serie.

    Nombres principales asociados a la serie

    El principal atractivo de esta serie es la presencia de Kaley Cuoco interpretando al personaje principal. Es una reconocida actriz de comedia que se hizo popular gracias a su papel en la serie The Big Bang Theory que duró más de 10 años. Además de esa serie, las únicas otras 2 producciones importantes en las que ha trabajado son esta, por supuesto, y la serie animada de Harley Quinn donde hace actuación de voz. También ha trabajado en muchas otras producciones, pero creo que estas 3 son las principales.

    En la serie, interpreta a una asistente de vuelo a la que le encanta beber alcohol, es muy promiscua y le cuesta mantener algo de disciplina en su vida.

    El otro actor que pude reconocer fue Michiel Huisman. Ha trabajado en 3 grandes series de los últimos años, GOT, The Haunting of Hill House y Orphan Black. También ha trabajado en buenas películas, algunos ejemplos podrían ser The Age of Adaline y The Invitation. Los géneros de las producciones donde ha trabajado son muy variados, por lo que se le puede considerar como un actor completo que puede ser útil para varios tipos de producciones.

    En la serie, interpreta a un hombre misterioso y sofisticado que se junta con la asistente de vuelo mientras guarda secretos importantes solo para él que eventualmente necesitarán ser investigados y descubiertos por dicha asistente de vuelo.

    Something similar happens with the writers. They have limited experience working in mostly series that are a bit popular but not mainstream. Not all of the writers worked in all of the episodes, the majority of them only worked in 1 episode. Only the main creator, Steve Yockey, Kara Lee Corthron, and Ryan Jennifer Jones participated in all 8 episodes. The rest of the writers only worked in 1.     As we can see, this series has a lot of people that don't have that much experience, an actress that's mainly known for her comedy role in a single series, and an actor who has some good experience playing roles in different genres but his presence in this series will be just complementary.

    The result of this combination, as I will explain below, was a so-so series that made me lose interest as time went on instead of increasing my interest and my intrigue.

    What was the series about?

    Kaley Cuoco is the main character, she is a flight attendant who for reasons we will learn later on, has some personal issues such as alcoholism and dangerous promiscuity. These issues don't prevent her from being good in her job and having a fun life.

    It appears that each time she flies she hooks up with a new man and she even has lovers in different cities that she visits from time to time. She is quite popular with a lot of guys thanks to this reason. She seems unable to keep herself grounded when experiencing anxiety or troubling emotions and is in need of constant social contact in order to feel contented with herself.

    If her life seemed like it could get out of control at any moment, things will get much crazier than anyone could think when she wakes up one day covered in blood and with a dead man laying next to her in the bed.

    Due to her alcoholism, she doesn't remember anything and the night before is all foggy in her mind with blurred memories and no clear idea of what really happened. She is friends with the other flight attendants but instead of looking for help to try to solve this situation she gets scared because people will probably think she killed him.

    She decides to remain quiet without telling anyone about this traumatic situation and what's even worse, she even tries to clean up the room to not leave any trace that could link her with this room. She plans to pretend she never hooked up with this man and was never in the room.

    Something I liked about these first moments is how she portrayed the nervousness of her situation. The series shows in a wonderful way the extreme anxiety and stress that the main character is feeling as she is trying to survive this complicated situation.

    Como podemos ver, esta serie tiene mucha gente que no tiene tanta experiencia, una actriz que es principalmente conocida por su papel de comedia en una sola serie, y un actor que tiene una buena experiencia interpretando papeles en diferentes géneros pero su presencia en esta serie será simplemente complementaria.

    El resultado de esta combinación, como explicaré a continuación, fue una serie regular que me hizo perder el interés a medida que pasaba el tiempo en lugar de aumentar mi interés y mi intriga.

    ¿De qué trataba la serie?

Parece incapaz de mantenerse en control cuando experimenta ansiedad o emociones perturbadoras y necesita un contacto social constante para sentirse satisfecha consigo misma.

    Si su vida parece que podría salirse de control en cualquier momento, pero las cosas se pondrán mucho más locas de lo que cualquiera podría pensar cuando se despierte un día cubierta de sangre y con un hombre muerto acostado junto a ella en la cama.

    Debido a su alcoholismo, no recuerda nada y la noche anterior la tiene toda nublada en su mente con recuerdos borrosos y sin una idea clara de lo que realmente sucedió. Es amiga de los otros asistentes de vuelo, pero en lugar de buscar ayuda para tratar de resolver esta situación, se asusta porque la gente probablemente pensará que ella lo mató.

    Decide quedarse callada sin contarle a nadie sobre esta traumática situación y lo que es peor, incluso trata de limpiar la habitación para no dejar ningún rastro que pueda vincularla con esta habitación. Ella planea fingir que nunca se enganchó con este hombre y nunca estuvo en la habitación.

    Algo que me gustó de estos primeros momentos es cómo se retrató el nerviosismo de su situación. La serie muestra de una manera maravillosa la extrema ansiedad y estrés que siente la protagonista mientras intenta sobrevivir a esta complicada situación.

    A proper investigation will take place, which allowed for another good scene where we can see her troubling state, and then, she will slowly discover the immensity of the problem she's in because this man was not a regular man. She will receive help from some close people but it will be made clear to the viewer she is swimming in extremely deep waters.

    There were some things I didn't like about this series. The first thing is that I thought it was a too strong coincidence that the main character's best friend is not only a lawyer but one with all sorts of strange contacts. That seemed extremely unlikely and convenient for the extreme plot because the main character is just a flight attendant and the type of contact her best friend has isn't normal. Something similar happens with another character but I will leave the readers to discover that for themselves in case they decide to watch this series.

    One cool thing about the show but also one I felt was overdone, is that there is a lot of dialogues that take place inside the mind of the main character. Given the fact she is going through what appears to be a traumatic experience, she begins to have dialogues with her mind version of the guy that died. She sees him in her mind and talks to him constantly. In the beginning, this was innovative but with time it became tiresome and overdone.

    There will be a lot of drama, crime, and mystery to be discovered. The plot had some intrigue but I was expecting much more seriousness. There are even some moments where a dangerous character loses all its tough looks and personality and this really reduced my appreciation for the show. It has some cool twists but I don't think trying to mix comedy with mystery worked this time.

    How were the performance from the cast, the settings and the camera work?

    The fact Kaley Cuoco is mainly good for comedy and not drama became very obvious in The Flight Attendant. Her performance as a constantly drunk and uncontrollable woman in very troubling situations cannot be considered entirely serious. Her intensity becomes tiresome as the series advances and I am not entirely sure this actress is compatible with plots that have a lot of drama. She can play great scenes with emotional moments, but her acting style throughout a longer time frame doesn't seem compatible with a serious drama.

    The settings and the camera work were normal, the show takes place in various cities but mainly in America and the way the scenes were filmed was just acceptable. Something that looked very original was the way they developed the conversations that take place inside the main character's mind. I really liked how that was done but I didn't like the excessive number of times it happened because it tended to interrupt other scenes and felt very chaotic.

    Final thoughts

    The Flight Attendant is a show that begins good but it is hard to take entirely seriously as we get closer to the end, and since this is a plot full of mystery and crime, that reduces the enjoyment the viewer might have.

    This is a type of plot that's meant to be developed without attempting to include comedy or silliness into it. The mix of the comedy, mystery, and thriller genres felt strange and the result wasn't satisfactory for me. There were great moments of course, but the final result left much to be desired and this is mostly related to the type of performance Kaley Cuoco provided. It ended up feeling exaggerated, anti-climatic, nonrealistic, and ultimately, tiresome.

Dado el hecho de que está pasando por lo que parece ser una experiencia traumática, comienza a tener diálogos con su versión mental del tipo que murió.
