For someone who's highly interested in Korean TV shows and doesn't add a lot of Movies to my watchlist, I've decided to check out Movies and I've been able to see some which truly whetted my appetite. The standout Korean movies I've seen in recent weeks had Ma Dong-Seok as a star in them.

Badland Hunters is his most recent project which was released just a month ago. I've seen that and even got to publish a review of that action-packed movie, set in a dystopian future. However, in today's Movies/TV show review, I will be sharing a movie that isn't a recent project.

Movie: The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil

    Genre: Crime / Action

    Release Date: May 15, 2019

    Runtime: 110 min.

    Language: Korean

I'm a big fan of crime shows with really wild detectives who are crazy enough to walk into the Den of Gangsters to get the job done. I also fancy shows where the gangsters are tough cookies who are not scared to go punch for punch with a detective. It's a movie world, so I'm allowed to want all these. Haha. This show does something better by having a good blend of both features in two characters who are also comical and know how to land good punches in a fight.

The gangster in this show is Ma Dong-Seok, the guy who's said to hold 95% of all the testosterone in South Korea. Haha. That sounds racist! I know, but this dude is built like a tank, and even at 52, he has the charisma that screams "Oh Shit" whenever he steps into a room. He also has that one-punch element to his physique in addition to his super slap trademark. Ma Dong-Seok gets a shout in almost every Korean Gangster movie and it's not even a surprise. He's that good.

The Cop is also another character who's super hotheaded and knows how to play dirty to get the job done. He's not exactly the embodiment of a good cop who plays by the rules and sticks with the law. Instead, he's the sorta Cop who understands that the system is rigged and he unavoidably has to also play dirty to get the job done faster. I'm not even mad at the Cop. Others around him were busy getting bribed to let crimes fly. However, he stuck his neck on the line to get things done.

The Devil is one heck of a bloodthirsty lunatic who goes around bumping his car on other drivers to get them out of their cars before stabbing them to death. He's a serial killing mofo and what's rather unconventional about his mode of attack is that he isn't the typical serial killer who goes after women or weaker people. He has the balls to go after the leader of a gang and he did some numbers in that surprise attack. The actor that played "the devil" role nailed it.

The above trailer doesn't even do the movie justice, but it will give you a rough idea of what to expect from the show. For a 2019 movie, the production crew of this movie did a really good job of portraying the story in a way that's intense, brutal, and also comical.

The fact that this is a true-life story makes it sad in some way because it highlights the truth about the Police Force who are filled with corrupt practices. Just like how a lot of people become victims of all killers while the Cops are dilly-dallying around, it's still a fact that a lot of crime in this day and time could have been stopped if the Police weren't so corrupt.

This show is set on a very captivating storyline and their casting is perfect. I'm glad I finally got to watch it.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma. Trailer video is shared from YouTube. The thumbnail Image is taken from the gallery section of the Movie on MyDramaList

this movie is based on a true story. This true story is made in the form of a movie and that country released It's about a serial killer, police, gangster.

This movie shows how the police and gangsters will catch the serial killer together, This movie is full of action, some great action scenes will appeal to everyone,

Serial killers kill ordinary people very ruthlessly, The city, meanwhile, has a good police officer who doesn't see injustice and works against gangsters,

Meanwhile, the police officer is investigating the unsolved murder case, The serial killer intentionally pushed into a car that belonged to a gangster.

The gangster saw that his car was not badly damaged, so he told him to go. He also started walking backward, But the serial killer disobeyed and tried to kill him at random with a knife, Meanwhile, he could not kill,

Meanwhile, the gangster was admitted to the hospital. After hearing the news, the police officer goes to see, There is talk among the police officer gangsters that they will catch the serial killer together.

So far, the movie was deadly, There is an agreement between the police and the gangster that the accused who will be able to catch the serial killer first will be him,

Meanwhile, the serial killer became known in the city through TV and the news, Then both the gangster and the police team combed to find the serial killer,

Eventually, Gangster e catches the serial killer but there are a lot of beautiful scenarios in the middle of it that can't be explained, The movie's actions were great and there are some car actions.

It was also weird. All in all, the people who watch this movie will have a lot of pleasure. The lighting in this movie was very nicely matched until the serial killer was arrested.

The lighting was weird, where the gangster has wit is extraordinary and the character of the gangster was the strangest which I loved to see, The film is finished in such a beautiful way that when you look at it, you will understand.

The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil (2019) - An interesting thriller based on real events.

**Honestly, i've always been pleasantly surprised by South Korean film productions. The film deserves that precious time, it's super good full of suspense, from the beginning to the end. This movie i recommend is inspired by some true story. The names of the characters and the events on display have been changed.** **Just a little summary.** >*A gangster makes the team known to a police officer to detect a serial killer. Ok, interesting is that after surviving a violent serial killer attack, Jang Dong-su, a well-known thief, has to form a partnership with local detective Jung Tae-seok in order to catch the well-known criminal sadist. under the name of K.* **In the end, i really liked the movie - The interaction between the two (the gangster and the detective) generated a lot of funny scenes, but also tense, you can read in their eyes the infinite hatred they have for each other, but they have nothing to do , interest wears the fez, the enemy of my enemy becomes my friend. The gangster, the cop, the devil is well-defined enough to keep you constantly connected to the scenes that take place in front of you. I recommend with confidence.**

For thriller movies I always prefer Korean one's. Truly they satisfy your thrilling thirst completely.

So I was watching The Gangster,The cop,The devil Well the name sounds interesting. Before I watched it I thought that one person will be leading the three roles or we will surprise our cop to be turned as the devil or the gangster as a secret cop or something like this kind of twist. Did you think the same? If yes, I am clearing that by a spoiler that nothing of this sort will happen.

So this is about a serial killer who just randomly pick a victims and murder him/her by stabbing continuously by a knife. His murder takes place randomly, he will be driving a car and suddenly hit another car from the back. When the driver comes out he starts stabbing continuously. Same story again and again. Well, there is a gangster named Jang Dong-soo. Well I liked his impression more than our cop who is also the one of the leading actors in this film with the other two(serial killer and the gangster).

One day that gangster fall a victim to the serial killer and he attempted to murder the gangster as his random killing. The gangster survived somehow. Btw before that our cop Jung Tae-suk was after the gangster. When the serial killing was taking place he also started to find the killer. The story begins with the gangster being attacked which is a shame for his reputation. So he is also after the serial killer for revenge. Somehow the cop and the gangster came to a treaty that they will help each other to find the killer and whoever catches the killer first he is his. Their treaty is based on some kind of blackmailing against each other that you will find out if you watch the movie.

Too many things happened and among them one was beautiful and sad for me. On a rainy day there was a school girl standing without an umbrella where that gangster was standing with one. He offered his one to that girl and chosen to get drenched when the cop came and was making fun of the girl that why did you taken an umbrella from a stranger and he is a thug the girl replied you are looking like a thug not him. That was a sweet funny moment and that smile was also looking nice at our gangster. Saddest part is she was murdered by the serial killer.

Maybe a little spoiler, you can skip this part and jump to the next paragraph. Well I am fast forwarding some incidents where the gangster caught the killer first and wanted to chop him into pieces, but breaking the treaty our cop crushed our gangster by the car and took the killer into police custody but the police team didn’t have much evidence or testimony against him. Even his fingers don't have any fingerprints that would be matched with the knives.

At these point of my watching this movie i was taking it as an average movie and wished to rate it 7 out of 10 i was saying that our cop made a mistake, he should have murdered the killer or let the gangster kill him. I got this kind of feeling while watching "I saw the devil" too. That's also one of my favorite thrillers. But you know that the Korean movies are full of twists and I mostly love their endings. They are so exciting that you are sure to clap and appreciate that. Something like that happened here too. The ending part was too good, I don't wanna throw any spoiler, just know that if I rate the ending I will give it 9.5 out of 10.

So guys, who love thriller movies jump into it. This is a good one. I am damn sure you will love it. Happy watching!
