   Welcome my dear internet travelers and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, it is very funny when a fragment of a movie becomes a meme, the film that brings us together today happened exactly that, which is why I decided to watch it "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" in order to confirm if only its meme is good or if the film is truly worth it. Without further ado, prepare to see clichés because we are about to begin.

   Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, es muy divertido cuando algún fragmento de alguna película se hace meme, el filme que hoy nos reúne le pasó exactamente eso por lo que me decidí a ver "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" a fin de confirmar si solo su meme es bueno o si verdaderamente el filme vale la pena.    The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent was released in 2022, directed by Tom Gormican, produced by Lionsgate and Saturn Films, and has a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is an action and comedy film, the story focuses on Nicole Cage who is in a crisis as an actor because he is not hired for new films and owes a good amount of money, all this leads him to accept a million dollars from a billionaire foreigner who will earn only if he attends his birthday party, however, this wealthy man is involved in shady business, this being the reason why he is investigated by the CIA, so the actor will be seen involved in a highly dangerous investigation that will truly put his life at stake.

   The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent fue estrenada en 2022, dirigida por Tom Gormican, producida por Lionsgate y Saturn Films, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 45 minutos. Es un filme de acción y comedia, la historia se centra en Nicole Cage el cual se encuentra en una crisis como actor debido a que no lo contratan para nuevas películas y debe una buena cantidad de dinero, todo esto lo lleva a aceptar un millón de dólares de un multimillonario extranjero que ganará solamente si asiste a su fiesta de cumpleaños, no obstante, este adinerado hombre se encuentra involucrado en negocios turbios, siendo esta la razón por la que es investigado por la CIA, por lo que el actor se verá involucrado en una investigación altamente peligrosa que pondrá verdaderamente su vida en juego.

   The soundtrack is not really something that is important or anything like it, it goes unnoticed most of the time, it is not an element that has true relevance to the film.

   La banda sonora no es realmente algo que tenga importancia ni nada que se le asemeje, esta pasa desapercibida la mayor parte del tiempo, no es un elemento que tenga verdadera relevancia para el filme.

   Exactly the same thing happens with the construction of the world, it doesn't really have any weighty element that makes it an important factor for the film, because it is mostly a comedy it is not something that considerably affects the film.

   Con la construcción del mundo sucede exactamente lo mismo, no tiene realmente ningún elemento de peso que lo haga un factor importante para el filme, debido a que es en su mayoría una comedia no es algo que afecte considerablemente a la cinta.

   The plot is made up of comedic moments that are mostly funny, these make fun of all kinds of cliché things both in Hollywood and in the cinematographic medium, only making fun is limited because there is no air of criticism within them, The action moments are quite generic and without real importance. Narratively there isn't much, it's a parody so you can't really expect anything spectacular, something that even seems ironic to me is that it falls into some of the clichés it makes fun of. The length is not excessive, the jokes make the duration quite enjoyable, although not all of them are funny, at least they give an interesting touch to the film.

   La trama está compuesta por momentos de comedia que en su mayoría son graciosos, estos se burlan de todo tipo de cosas clichés tanto de Hollywood como del medio cinematográfico, solo se limita mofarse debido a que no existe ningún aire de crítica dentro de las mismas, los momentos de acción son bastante genéricos y sin verdadera importancia. Narrativamente no hay mucho, es una parodia por lo que no se puede esperar realmente nada espectacular, algo que me parece incluso irónico es que caiga en algunos de los clichés de los que se burla. La duración no es excesiva, los chistes hacen bastante amena su duración, si bien no todos son graciosos por lo menos le dan un toque interesante al filme.

   The chemistry between the main characters is pleasant, the above is because they interact in a fun way, their characterizations are basic so there is not much more apart from this, this being the reason why it is interesting that at least the relationship among these was done correctly. The rest do not even deserve to be mentioned since they are completely forgettable.

   Es agradable la química entre los personajes protagonistas, lo anterior se debe a que interactúan de forma divertida, sus caracterizaciones son básicas por lo que no hay mucho más aparte de esto, siendo esta la razón por lo que es interesante que por lo menos la relación entre estos se hiciese de forma correcta. El resto no merece ni ser mencionados puesto que son completamente olvidables.

   
   

   

   The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is a film designed to mock the various current clichés of most films, as well as mock the basic tastes that many viewers have, as a negative point it sometimes falls into those same clichés of those he makes fun of by being somewhat funny in an indirect way. It is for all of the above that it deserves 2.5 stars out of 7, it is not something transcendental and unmatched but it fulfills the task of being funny on more than one occasion with its absurd moments.

   The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent es un filme pensado para burlarse de los diversos clichés actuales de la mayoría de películas, así como también mofarse de los gustos básicos que tienen muchos espectadores, como punto negativo tiene que en algunas ocasiones cae en esos mismos clichés de los que se burla siendo algo gracioso de forma indirecta. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 2.5 estrellas de 7, no es algo trascendental e inigualable pero cumple con el hecho de dar gracia en más de una ocasión con sus momentos absurdos.

He is an actor who presents a charisma that he has managed to maintain for years, and has worked in very good movies, and in very bad ones as well.

   He was one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood for what he invested in real estate, (he came to have 15 houses), a castle in England, mansions in Los Angeles, New York and Las Vegas, four yachts, a jet, an island and a head of a dinosaur sixty-seven million years old.

   Cage has married: actress Patricia Arquette (sister of actress Rosanna Arquette), Lisa Marie Presley (daughter of Elvis Presley), Alice Kim with whom he has a son named Kal El Coppola (Kal El is the real name of Superman), Erika Koike (his makeup artist), and currently with Riko Shibata, (a Japanese woman 31 years younger than him).

In these films, Nicolas Cage's acting, and sometimes overacting, always stands out.

   In the movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Nicolas Cage plays Nic Cage an actor who urgently needs to revive his career. Good directors don't need him for their projects so the debts keep piling up. Cage, in order to obtain the not inconsiderable sum of one million dollars, accepts an invitation in Mayorca to the birthday of one of his biggest fans, the Spanish billionaire Javi Gutierrez (Pedro Pascal).

   Nicolas Cage stars as Nicolas Cage accompanied by Pedro Pascal who develops an impressive chemistry with Cage. The story is light and surreal.

   Javi hopes to seduce Cage with the knowledge of his career and offer him a screenplay written by him to star in a movie. But Javi is involved in arms trafficking and the CIA needs Cage's services to catch him. Cage also gets involved in the kidnapping of the daughter of a politician in Catalonia, and even in the kidnapping of his own family.

   The film is fun and clever, parodying action films and engaging in the buddy movie genre with bits of absurd comedy.

   There are references to Cage's work in other films: Con Air, Wild At Heart, Leaving Las Vegas, Guarding Tess, The Croods and Face Off. It's a self-parody of himself.

   The Film is directed by Tom Gormican and also stars: Tiffany Haddish, Neil Patrick Harris, and Demi Moore among others.

   It is a movie that will not be nominated for any Oscar award, but it fulfills the expectation of entertaining, now as I reread the first paragraphs of this blog I wonder if it would not be equally or more entertaining to see a movie based on the real life of Nicholas Cage given his outlandish real life. ?
