¡Un saludo para toda la comunidad! Hoy quiero traerles la segunda parte de un post de esta serie que hice hace 2 meses y que les debía, aquí les hablaré un poco de la segunda temporada que fue estrenada este mismo año por "Amazon Prime Video" y que nos dio un interesante giro en la trama que ya venía desarrollando desde la primera temporada.

Today I want to bring you the second part of a post of this series that I did 2 months ago and that I owed you, here I will tell you a little about the second season that was released this year by "Amazon Prime Video" and that gave us an interesting twist in the plot that had been developing since the first season.

Esta segunda temporada abrió justo la historia con la que cerró la primera temporada, las chicas siendo rescatadas "milagrosamente" y llevadas a un lugar privado para que dieran sus declaraciones sobre lo que les había ocurrido durante el tiempo que estuvieron atrapadas en la isla.
This second season opened just the story with which the first season closed, the girls being "miraculously" rescued and taken to a private place to give their statements about what had happened to them during the time they were trapped on the island.
Pero el plus interesante fue que ahora, en la segunda temporada, habrían de llegar a la isla los chicos, de la misma manera en la que llegaron las chicas, fingiendo un accidente aéreo para transportarlos a otra isla para hacerles el mismo experimento enfermo que les hicieron a las chicas.
But the most interesting thing was that now, in the second season, the boys would have to arrive on the island, in the same way in which the girls arrived, faking a plane crash to transport them to another island to do the same sick experiment that they did. they made the girls.

Todo ocurre exactamente igual que en el caso de las chicas, es repetitivo, pero hay cambios que hace que la trama de la serie se torne en esta temporada un tanto más oscura y seria; esto ocurre con la inclusión de los chicos y sus historias individuales antes de llegar a la isla y como esas mismas historias los llevan a ese lugar, es todo bastante enfermo desde el punto de vista de planeación de las victimas a utilizar en este experimento social liderado por la Dra. Gretchen Klein y su equipo.
Everything happens exactly the same as in the case of the girls, it is repetitive, but there are changes that make the plot of the series become a bit darker and more serious this season; this happens with the inclusion of the boys and their individual histories before arriving on the island and how those same histories lead them to that place, it's all quite sick from the point of view of planning the victims to use in this social experiment led by **Dr. Gretchen Klein ** and her team.
Los chicos les desarrolla individualmente sus historias, todas tienen algo en común, el dolor y/o la pérdida de algo, ese factor en común es el utilizado para atraerlos a este experimento, sin ellos saberlo (ni sus padres); tenemos historias interesante y otras bastante duras de desarrollar, incluso, una de esas historias se toca a profundidad y llega a desarrollarse bastante bien en un capítulo específico donde se advierte al público que las escenas contienen contenido sensible relacionado al abuso no consensuado en el grupo de los chicos.
The boys develops their stories individually, they all have something in common, the pain and/or the loss of something, that common factor is used to attract them to this experiment, without them knowing it (or their parents); we have interesting stories and others that are quite hard to develop, even one of those stories is touched on in depth and is developed quite well in a specific chapter where the public is warned that the scenes contain sensitive content related to non-consensual abuse in the group of boys.
Historias de abuso de padres, de vergüenza de donde provienen, de abusos de bebidas y abandono paternal, así como de odio y racismo son algunos de los temas que los nuevos personajes desarrollan muy bien en esta segunda temporada.
Stories of parental abuse, shame where they come from, drinking abuse and parental abandonment, as well as hate and racism are some of the themes that the new characters develop very well in this second season.

Pero la llegada de los chicos no minimizó lo que las chicas en la temporada anterior habíamos visto desarrollarse, de hecho, se logró ver que algunas de ellas comenzaron a materializar lo que habían sospechado sobre la isla, por lo que el equipo de la Dra. Klein debió actuar para evitar que se descubriera su plan; pero poco le duró el gusto, o al menos eso nos hicieron creer.
But the arrival of the boys did not minimize what the girls in the previous season had seen develop, in fact, it was possible to see that some of them began to materialize what they had suspected about the island, so the team of Dr. Klein had to act to prevent his plan from being discovered; but the taste did not last long, or at least that is what they made us believe.
Vemos también como poco a poco, una vez rescatados los chicos de la isla de la misma forma en la que las chicas fueron rescatadas, van interactuando y atando los hilos de lo que puede estar ocurriendo para así poder ser libres de esa isla.
We also see how little by little, once the boys have been rescued from the island in the same way that the girls were rescued, they interact and tie the threads of what may be happening in order to be free from that island.
Justo cuando creemos que todo llega a su fin, todo vuelve a comenzar y casi desde cero se debe volver a replantear la salida de la isla pero no sin antes dejarnos saber que el enemigo no es solamente la Dra. Klein, sino un aliado nuevo que se delata en esta segunda temporada con una nueva aliada que no quiere volver a la vida que dejó atrás por miedo a afrontar sus problemas.
Just when we think that everything is coming to an end, everything begins again and almost from scratch the exit from the island must be reconsidered, but not before letting us know that the enemy is not only Dr. Klein, but a new ally that she gives herself away in this second season with a new ally who does not want to return to the life she left behind for fear of facing her problems.

El final de temporada es bastante obvio, ahora no están atrapados en una isla por grupos de chicas y chicos, sino que están mezclados y en una isla nueva, misma en donde los mantenían encerrados mientras realizaban las "investigaciones" para conocer que había pasado y poder regresarlos a sus vidas normales.
The end of the season is quite obvious, now they are not trapped on an island by groups of girls and boys, but they are mixed and on a new island, the same one where they were kept locked up while they carried out the "investigations" to find out what had happened and to return them to their normal lives.
En términos de producción la serie es un 10/10. El guión de esta temporada, aunque por ocasiones repetitivo (un punto entendible dado el hecho de que se trataba de un experimento social de géneros), pero con unos twists bastante inesperados que le dieron, como dije anteriormente, otro tono más oscuro a la serie. Las locaciones siguen siendo un puntazo a favor porque son increíbles. El cast, tanto el de las chicas como el de los chicos, estuvo perfecto.
In terms of production the series is a 10/10. The script for this season, although at times repetitive (an understandable point given the fact that it was a social experiment of genres), but with some quite unexpected twists that gave, as I said before, another darker tone to the Serie. The locations are still a big plus because they are incredible. The cast, both for the girls and for the boys, was perfect.
Desarrollar la historia personal de cada uno de los nuevos personajes y manteniendo las historias que ya conocíamos de las chicas en la temporada anterior merece una mención especial porque fue muy interesante conocer de donde vienen los personajes. Alguno que otro personaje se le dio mayor visibilidad a su historia pero todo tiene un por qué y al final lo explica la misma historia.
Developing the personal story of each of the new characters and keeping the stories that we already knew about the girls in the previous season deserves a special mention because it was very interesting to know where the characters come from. Some other character was given more visibility to her story but everything has a reason and in the end the same story explains it.

¡Serie Cancelada!

A finales del mes de Julio se dio a conocer esta noticia, ya no irá la 3era temporada de la serie y eso no caló muy bien entre los que seguimos la serie. La showrunner, Amy B., aseguró el pasado mes de mayo que ya estaba preparándose para dar un camino más claro de lo que sería la tercera temporada, pero eso no ocurrirá, al menos no en "Amazon Prime Video", dado que la cancelación de la serie es definitiva.
At the end of July this news was released, the 3rd season of the series will no longer go and that did not go down very well among those of us who follow the series. The showrunner, Amy B., assured last May that she was already preparing to give a clearer path to what would be the third season, but that will not happen, at least not in * "Amazon Prime Video"*, since the cancellation of the series is final.
Esperemos y otro servicio de streaming los pueda recoger y darnos una tercera temporada para al menos cerrar la historia como debe ser, ya que al final de la segunda temporada, el cliffhanger con el que cerró el último capítulo, dejó bastante intrigado a más de uno y esperando la siguiente temporada para conocer que ocurrirá con las chicas y los chicos en la nueva isla.
Hopefully another streaming service can pick them up and give us a third season to at least close the story as it should be, since at the end of the second season, the cliffhanger with which it closed the last chapter, left more than one quite intrigued and waiting for the next season to find out what will happen to the girls and boys on the new island.
