Hola mis queridos lectores de Hive y amantes del mundo cinematográfico ❤️ me alegra mucho compartirles en esta oportunidad una de mis películas favoritas de cuando era niña, o mejor dicho la saga de unos de los films icónicos y memorables de la época y que hoy en día, en su retransmisiones sigue gustando a la audiencia. Al igual que yo y no me dejarán mentir que el título que les comparto además de sus anteriores partes, formó parte de nuestra infancia, creyendo como pobres inocentes que lo que parecía ficción para los adultos, para un simple niño era una realidad, me refiero a nuestros juguetes favoritos de Toy Story, un clásico de Pixar que para mí gusto nunca pasará de moda, y como muestra, las nuevas entregas individuales con mejor calidad gráfica visual que han lanzado recientemente.

Quién no se divirtió con esta historia irreal de juguetes que cobraban vida mientras los humanos o sus "niños" no los veían?..yo recuerdo no solo reír sino también llorar de niña al sentir y vivir lo que estos juguetes aparentemente inanimados sentían cuando ya no querían jugar con ellos quedando en el olvido. Una historia que quizás nos deja como reflexión para los niños que actualmente no juegan tanto con juguetes o que no les dan el cuidado adecuado, al mostrarnos que tienen sentimientos y les afecta ser abandonados y no cumplir su única función, divertir a los niños.

Pero en esta ocasión en particular me voy a enfocar en la última parte, Toy Story 4, ya que, aunque no fue una de mis favoritas de toda la saga, si significo mucho para mí niña interior al darle una especie de cierre a esta gran y emocionante aventura, con unos personajes únicos y que sin duda caracterizaron la historia, dándole el éxito que tuvieron en su primer lanzamiento hasta ahora. Y quizás, al ver qué les comparto una película que fue estrenanda hace varios años, fue curioso y gracioso para mí volverla a ver por casualidad hace pocos días y recordar cuando en su momento fue muy esperada y por su puesto revivir todo lo que sucedía y el desenlace final súper emotivo que tuvo cada personaje que creo para los fans de esta saga lloraron o por lo menos les llegó al corazón como a mi.

Creo que sería un poco absurdo no hablar de spoiler de una historia que ya tiene mucho tiempo desde que fue estrenada, sin embargo para no perder la costumbre, igual les quiero compartir un poco en resumen de lo que fue la cuarta entrega de Toy Story 4. Si siguieron la continuidad de la tercera parte, comenzaremos desde el punto en dónde nuestros protagonistas Woody, Buzz Lightyear y sus otros amigos han sido donados por su antiguo dueño Andy a una pequeña niña llamada Bonnie, a partir de aquí, y como era de esperarse comienzan a suceder nuevos problemas, como por ejemplo la aparición de un nuevo personaje bastante peculiar llamado Forky quien más adelante sabremos que papel jugará en el equipo de juguetes. Además de este pequeño amigo, varios juguetes secundarios aparecerán en el camino, unos por el bien y otros no tanto, aunque por su apariencia ya nos lo imaginamos, entre ellas y la más sorpresiva es la de nuestra entrañable Bo, la adorable pastorcita y pareja de Woody que años más tarde luego de su abrupta donación cambio no solo su apariencia sino también su dulce personalidad. Esta aparición y algunos sucesos harán que el destino del gran equipo inseparable de los juguetes originales cambie, haciendo que cada uno continúe su destino como más deseé y lo haga felíz, aunque esta decisión sea quizás la mas difícil y la que todos los fans jamás hubiéramos querido que sucediera. Pero como todo debe tener un final, fue muy bonito que todos o.. casi todos, terminaran con su final feliz.

Esta película, a pesar que ya tiene muchos años, como les mencioné antes aún me entretiene mucho verla, aunque de todas mi favorita y la que más me hace reír es la parte 2, sin embargo no me molestaría mírame un maratón de todas ellas incluyendo los divertidos spin off. Mi puntuación para esta película sería un 9 de 10 porque no me gusta llorar cada que la veo, de resto fue perfecto el final que le dieron. Aquí les comparto el tráiler para que la disfruten y se animen a verla si es que aún no lo han hecho.. y ya luego me cuentan que tal les pareció 😸.

Hello my dear readers of Hive and lovers of the film world ❤️ I am very happy to share with you in this opportunity one of my favorite movies when I was a child, or rather the saga of one of the iconic and memorable films of the time and that today, in its retransmissions continues to please the audience. Like me and you will not let me lie that the title that I share with you in addition to its previous parts, was part of our childhood, believing as poor innocents that what seemed fiction for adults, for a simple child was a reality, I refer to our favorite toys of Toy Story, a Pixar classic that for my taste will never go out of fashion, and as a sample, the new individual deliveries with better visual graphic quality that have been recently released.

Who did not have fun with this unreal story of toys that came to life while humans or their "children" did not see them... I remember not only laughing but also crying as a child to feel and live what these seemingly inanimate toys felt when they no longer wanted to play with them and were forgotten. A story that perhaps leaves us as a reflection for children who currently do not play as much with toys or who do not give them the proper care, showing us that they have feelings and are affected by being abandoned and not fulfilling their only function, to amuse children.

But on this particular occasion I am going to focus on the last part, Toy Story 4, because, although it was not one of my favorites of the whole saga, it meant a lot to my inner child to give a kind of closure to this great and exciting adventure, with unique characters and that certainly characterized the story, giving it the success they had in its first release until now. And perhaps, seeing that I share with you a movie that was released several years ago, it was curious and funny for me to see it again by chance a few days ago and remember when at the time it was highly anticipated and of course relive everything that happened and the final super emotional denouement that had each character that I think for fans of this saga cried or at least touched their hearts like me.

I think it would be a bit absurd not to talk about spoilers for a story that has already been out for a long time, but in the interest of continuity, I'd still like to share a bit of a summary of what the fourth installment of Toy Story 4 was like. If you followed the continuity of the third part, we will start from the point where our main characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear and their other friends have been donated by their former owner Andy to a little girl named Bonnie, from here, and as expected new problems begin to happen, such as the appearance of a new peculiar character called Forky who later we will know what role he will play in the toy team. In addition to this little friend, several secondary toys will appear on the way, some for the good and others not so much, although by their appearance we already imagine it, among them and the most surprising is that of our endearing Bo, the adorable shepherdess and Woody's partner that years later after his abrupt donation changed not only his appearance but also his sweet personality. This appearance and some events will make the destiny of the great inseparable team of the original toys change, making each one continue their destiny as they wish and make them happy, although this decision is perhaps the most difficult and the one that all fans would have never wanted to happen. But as everything must have an ending, it was very nice that all or... almost all of them, ended with a happy ending.

This movie, even though it is many years old, as I mentioned before I still enjoy watching it, although my favorite and the one that makes me laugh the most is part 2, however I wouldn't mind watching a marathon of all of them including the funny spin offs. My score for this movie would be a 9 out of 10 because I don't like to cry every time I watch it, otherwise it was perfect the ending they gave it. La película nos habla de un nuevo integrante al grupo de juguetes, “Forky” o “basura” como se autodenomina cada 5 minutos (Lo cuál me daba muchísima risa pero al mismo tiempo me desesperaba) la creación de Bonnie en el colegio, un juguete que ella ama y del cual no se puede despegar. La aventura comienza cuando la familia de Bonnie decide irse de viaje lo que significa una nueva aventura para los juguetes, que comienza a volverse cada vez más desastrosa cuando Forky intenta tirarse a la basura cada vez que ve una oportunidad, lo cual traerá muchos problemas una vez que logré hacerlo, pero como dicen por ahí; “No hay mal que por bien no venga” Este pequeño accidente traerá reencuentros y descubrimientos nuevos que los hará ser mejores.

La verdad es que la cucharilla/ tenedor me estresa mucho porque a pesar que Woody le decía que él era el nuevo juguete de Bonnie, este no se lo creía y solo se decía cosas despectivas una y otra vez, porque no creía que él pudiese ser un juguete. Eso me molestaba mucho y también me dió una pequeña reflexión, a veces nosotros nos hablamos feo y cuando la gente nos hace cumplidos no los creemos porque es difícil creer en cosas positivas si uno pasa las 24 horas de los 7 días de la semana diciéndose puras cosas negativas.

Realmente este película tiene varias enseñanzas y es muy linda, súper ligera de ver, no se hace tediosa ni nada, hay muchos personajes nuevos y algunos villanos. También hay reencuentros de viejos amigos y es una de las cosas más lindas de la película al igual que el descubrimiento de Woody sobre lo que quiere hacer con su vida. Me reí muchísimo con la película, también me estrese pero eso es común cuando veo que los personajes de ponen necios.

This movie really has several lessons and it's very nice, super light to watch, it doesn't get tedious or anything, there are many new characters and some villains. There are also reunions of old friends and it is one of the most beautiful things in the film as well as Woody's discovery of what he wants to do with his life. I laughed a lot with the movie, I also got stressed but that's common when I see that the characters get silly.

Algo que quizás no me gustó de la película es que muchos personajes no estuvieron activos en la aventura y eso no me gustó porque cuando empezaron los problemas muchos estaban muy tranquilos esperando que todo se resolviera así de la nada, al final de la película fue que empezaron a ayudar y eso no me gustó. Pero supongo que tenía que ser así para darle integración a los nuevos personajes en la trama. Así que es una queja no tan queja.

Something that perhaps I did not like about the film is that many characters were not active in the adventure and I did not like that because when the problems began, many were very calm waiting for everything to be resolved out of the blue, at the end of the film it was that They started to help and I didn't like that. To mention Toy Story 4 is to speak of one of the riskiest and most controversial sequels of modern cinema, not because it is directly bad or because there are mixed opinions regarding its quality, but because from a broad point of view it feels slightly unnecessary.

Toy Story 3 was not only a perfect closure for a series of films where each one seemed to surpass the previous one, it was an emotional conclusion that coexisted perfectly with the messages of 1 and 2 and arrived with an ideal timing after several years without signs of history.

The problem is that in order to exist, Toy Story 4 must retroactively alter all the established teachings and advancement of its characters, taking them to new terrain that they were previously unaware of in an act that could be considered almost sacrilegious.

The question is, does this work? My short answer is that yes, Toy Story 4 is a technical marvel that manages to repeat several emotional beats and ends up feeling organic compared to its predecessors ... but things are a little more complex than this.

Woody as a character must fully bend in favor of the plot, lacking everything he had learned over time. In Toy Story 4 things are suddenly not about loyalty and facing difficulties alongside your friends, living to fulfill their purposes as toys.

Toy Story from the beginning has been obsessed with the idea of being obsolete, the fleetingness of childhood and how it affects these almost magical creatures.

In contrast, its fourth part disrespects these ideas, cynically links the value of toys to their owners and presents the opposite as something fresh (although we have already seen those ideas in the past).

It is not that it is bad, I would not even say that it has no logic (it has it within its rules), but they are not arguments that reinforce the need for Toy Story 4.

On the bright side of things, we have a film with the typical Pixar stamp, a technical marvel that once again pushes the limits of digital animation, without sacrificing the artistic vision of the film. Toy Story 4 introduces several new characters that feel organic living with each other and is undeniably fun.

Its ending, while retouching what we saw earlier, works very well in isolation and could come to deliver a sense of closure for those who did not have it a few years ago with Toy Story 3.

It's nice to see all of these characters again, especially those who had a long time without being the main focus of one of these films.

Too bad Woody had to re-learn things he had already learned to get a chance to see them.

Mencionar Toy Story 4 es hablar de una de las secuelas más arriesgadas y polémicas del cine moderno, no porque sea directamente mala o o porque existan opiniones mixtas respecto a su calidad, sino porque desde un punto de vista amplio se siente ligeramente innecesaria.

Toy Story 3 no solo fue un cierre perfecto para una serie de películas en donde cada una aparentaba superar a la anterior, se trataba de una conclusión emocional que coexistía perfectamente con los mensajes de 1 y 2 y llegaba con un timing ideal luego de varios años sin señas de la historia.

El problema es que para existir Toy Story 4 debe alterar retroactivamente todos las enseñanzas establecidas y el avance de sus personajes, llevándolos a una nueva terreno que previamente desconocían en un acto que podría considerarse casi sacrílego.

La pregunta es, ¿Esto funciona? Mi respuesta corta es que si, Toy Story 4 es una maravilla técnica que logra repetir varios beats emotivos y termina sintiéndose orgánica con respecto a sus predecesores… pero la cosa es un poco más compleja que esto.

Woody como personaje debe doblarse totalmente a favor de la trama, faltando a todo lo que había aprendido a lo largo del tiempo. En Toy Story 4 de pronto las cosas no van sobre la lealtad y enfrentar dificultades al lado de tus amigos, viviendo para llenar sus propósitos como juguetes.

Toy Story desde el principio ha estado obsesionado con la idea de ser obsoleto, lo fugaz de la infancia y el cómo afecta a estas criaturas casi mágicas.

En contraposición, su cuarta parte irrespeta estas ideas, vincula cínicamente el valor de los juguetes a sus dueños y presenta lo contrario como algo fresco (Aunque ya vimos esas ideas en el pasado).

No es que sea mala, ni siquiera diría que no tiene lógica (la tiene dentro de sus reglas), pero no son argumentos que refuercen la necesidad por Toy Story 4.

En el lado bueno de las cosas, tenemos una película con el típico sello de Pixar, una maravilla técnica que impulsa otra vez los límites de la animación digital, sin sacrificar la visión artística del filme. Toy Story 4 introduce varios nuevos personajes que se sienten orgánicos conviviendo con los demás y resulta innegablemente divertida.

Su final, si bien retoca lo que vimos anteriormente, funciona muy bien de manera aislada y podría llegar a entregar una sensación de cierre para aquellos que hace algunos años no la tuvieron con Toy Story 3.

Es agradable volver a ver a todos estos personajes, especialmente aquellos que tenían tiempo sin ser el foco principal de una de estas cintas.

Una pena que Woody tuviese que volver a aprender cosas que ya había aprendido para tener una oportunidad de verlos.

The cowboy doll and his space ranger friend were Pixar's first heroes, and the studio gives them a proper send-off in the last part of the Toy Story trilogy. The idea of growing up and letting go runs across the film like a tear making its way down your cheek. The sight gags, in-jokes and one-liners rattle through at the same entertaining pace; it's just that this time, there's a lot of darkness in there too.

With their owner Andy now college-aged, the toys' situation is achingly sad. Their ranks slim down by yardsales; the toys go through the routine of preparing Andy to play with them – which he never does because he's now an adult. It's the Twilight conundrum made moving: how can you bear to love someone who ages while you always stay the same?

But it's not all heartbreaking metaphysics. The film's meat is a thrilling Great Escape-style breakout and one of the most convincing (and devastating) heroes-in-peril scenes you'll probably ever see. Just make sure you've got someone nearby to hold your hand because things are going to get very dicey for your favourite band of plastic (and rag) brothers.

Some domestic confusion ultimately lands the toys at Sunnyside Daycare, where genial Care Bear-alike Lots-O’-Huggin is the king of the toybox. Woody makes his escape to find Andy, but Buzz, Jessie and the rest remain hopeful of a new life full of playtime. Instead, they wind up in the toy equivalent of a concentration camp: forced to work till they break while Lotso and his cronies police the joint and play poker.

New locations let the film bring in new characters – and from a himbo Ken to the sinister Big Baby squeaking "mama, mama" as he pounds his fist (a dead ringer for Sloth in The Goonies), they fit into the Toy Story world as though they've always been there. In particular, there's a sadistic chill in Lotso's turn from embracing father figure to cruel commandant that makes this a starker portrayal of human (well, plush) nature than most films supposedly aimed at adults.

For me and I think a vast majority of the rest of the world, most Pixar films are pretty guaranteed to be entertaining: The stories tend to be good, the animation is supurb and they never cut costs by getting second-rate voice-actors. So naturally, it comes as no surprise that the 4th installment of the Toy Story series was another win.

This story focuses primarily on the two major characters of Woody and Buzz Lightyear, as you would expect. A newcomer to the characters is someone that I would say we probably won't see a great deal of in future releases (presuming there are some.)

His name is "forky" and he is the creation of the human child "Bonnie" on her first day of kindergarten. Forky is actually really funny because he realizes he is assembled garbage and seems to be on a constant mission to return to a waste-bin at all costs. Whenever he disappears into a trash can Bonnie becomes upset because Forky is now her favorite toy. The rest of the toys spend a lot of time keeping Forky in line and returning him to Bonnie.

Of course they need a bit more of a story than that so we are introduced to what eventually becomes the "bad guys" in "Gabby Gabby" and her terrifying henchmen who are all called Benson. I don't know if ventriloquist dolls are scary to little kids, but based on their prominence in horror films over the years, I find them scary and this is one of the main things I appreciate about Pixar movies.

While it is obvious these movies are designed primarily for kids, there are lots of reasons for adults to enjoy their movies as well. There is always some level of subtle, yet innocent, adult humor that is placed in the film and I thought this was an absolutely brilliant tactic on the part of Pixar. They have succeeded in creating movies that parents are going to be totally cool with going to see with their kids (or watch dozens of times at home.)

I really feel as though while it was good, Toy Story 4 has the weakest story of all of the Toy Story franchise. I think they might be running out of new famous toys to introduce to the lineup. A lot of the classic characters that I have grown to love were barely used (Such as Rex and the Potato Heads) and others, such as the squeaky aliens, weren't used at all. I did enjoy that Keanu Reeves got involved as the voice of the Canadian Evel Knievel, "Duke Kaboom."

I would say that these films will likely be made until the end of time because the return on investment is just too great. Toy Story 4 cost an incredible $200 million to make but made an astounding $1.05 billion at the box office - the largest take for an animated film, ever. If we were to factor in merchandising, this might be the most valuable franchise on the planet.

This movie is a lot of fun and therefore i recommend it be seen by everyone

Oh, oh, I don’t know. I never saw toy story 3, which I should probably be embarrassed to admit but whatever. This teaser trailer looks cheesy and kind of a good way but there is nothing here screaming, “you have to see this” to me beyond nostalgia.

Woody was always clear about his role in the world and his priority: taking care of his child, be it Andy or Bonnie. However, Woody will discover just how big the world can be for a toy when Forky becomes his new roommate.

I have no complaints really, it's very good and the animation is something from another world it looks incredible and that gives spectacular visual satisfaction.

The plot of the movie is good, I really think it's better than Toy Story 3, so with that I tell you everything. I won't tell you more about the movie in detail because it would be a spoiler and the movie is worth watching without spoilers.

I personally had wanted to see this movie for a long time but I had not been able to, so I am very excited to be able to share this review with you, I would love it if you are interested in seeing it and enjoying it as much as I do, if you have already seen it, tell me it seemed.
