I never thought the day would come when I would write a review of an anime, not because I don't like animated movies, it's because I think the trend is to write about movies or series that are more popular, or more accepted by the public, in order to give our opinion and somehow help others to choose content to see, I have recently seen the movie 'Your name', and I have been very impressed by its quality in all aspects that I think it deserves to be reviewed.
Nunca pensé que llegaría el día en que escribiría una reseña de un anime, no porque no me gusten las películas animadas, es porque pienso que la tendencia es escribir sobre películas o series que sean más populares, o de mayor aceptación del público, con el fin de dar nuestra opinión y de alguna forma ayudar a otros a escoger contenido para ver, además de establecer una critica y junto a otras personas evaluar la calidad de lo que vemos, pero esta vez la situación es otra, he visto recientemente la película ‘Your name’, y he quedado muy impactado por su calidad en todos los aspecto que creo que merece ser reseñada.

Pues resulta que es una película que salió hace varios años, específicamente en Japón y Estados Unidos en el 2016 y para Latinoamérica en el 2017, pero fue hasta hace unos días que la vi disponible en HBO max, pero como su portada claramente hace referencia a una historia romántica no me llamo la atención, y no es que no me gusten, pero no son mi primera opción, sin embargo, mi esposa le pareció interesante y rápidamente busco el trailer para saber de que trataba, ella no es de ver animes en lo absoluto, pero si le encantan la historia de amor, por lo que aprovecho la situación para que la viéramos juntos al combinar cosas que a ambos nos gustan.

No es que sea un experto, solo e visto unas pocas, La primera fue ‘Mi vecino Totoro’ (Tonari no Totoro), luego unos años después vi ‘El viaje de Chihiro’ (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi) que es la mas famosa de todas e incluso gano premios de la academia, después vi ‘La princesa Mononoke’ ( Mononoke Hime) y ultimo ya con mis hijos Ponyo en el acantilado (Gake no ue no Ponyo) que está basada en ‘La sirenita’ de Hans Christian Andersen y a mis hijos le fascino por eso mismo, así que comprenderán que después de ver tan buenas películas del Estudio Ghibli, puedes llegar a ser muy critico de cualquiera que no provenga de este estudio.
Argument

As it turns out, the film tells the story of two young people who obviously reside in Japan, Mitsuha a girl who lives in a small town called Itomori a rather rural place in which all the goodness of the technological advances of this nation are not appreciated, which makes her always longing for the life of the big city, always lamenting how boring her life is. On the other hand, we have Taki, a boy who lives in the overpopulated Tokyo, leading the normal life of every teenager in that city, studying, part-time job with all the amenities offered by this cosmopolitan city.
No hare ningún spoiler, porque en verdad merece la pena que vean esta película, y cualquier comentario fuera de los primeros minutos de la película, le quitara el encanto y la sorpresa. Pues resulta que la película relata la historia de dos jóvenes que obviamente residen en Japón, Mitsuha una chica que viven en un pequeño pueblo llamado Itomori un lugar bastante campestre en el cual no se aprecian todas las bondades de los avances tecnológicos de esta nación, lo que le hace añorar siempre la vida de la gran ciudad, lamentándose siempre por lo aburrida que es su vida. Por otra parte, tenemos a Taki, un chico vive en la superpoblada Tokio, llevando la vida normal de todo adolescente de esa ciudad, estudiar, trabajo de medio tiempo con todas las comodidades que ofrece esta ciudad cosmopolita.

Taki siendo Mitsuha es descuidado y no atiende su apariencia, sin embargo, por ser un chico de ciudad es mas osado y al actuar hace ver a Mitsuha como una chica mas interesante y popular. Caso contrario cuando ella esta en el cuerpo de él, la sensibilidad de una mujer le hace ver como que posee un lado femenino ayudándole incluso a ganar una cita.

Opinion
I must clarify that up to here I have not told you even 10 minutes of what happens in the movie, it is only the tip of the iceberg, because what comes next is a WOW, there is a plot twist that I did not expect and when I thought that things would continue on that path, surprisingly they give another twist that I did not expect, but for the better, giving one of the most satisfying endings I have witnessed in a movie in a long time, incredibly in an anime, because it seems the tendency is to make an amazing series or movie but put the cake at the end, leaving me unsatisfied or disappointed.
Debo aclara que hasta aquí no les he contado ni 10 minutos de lo que transcurre en la película, es solo la punta del iceberg, porque lo que viene es un WOW, hay un giro de trama que no me esperaba y cuando pensé que las cosas continuarían por ese camino, sorprendentemente dan otro giro que no me esperaba, pero para bien, otorgando uno de los finales más satisfactorios que te presenciado en una película en mucho tiempo, increíblemente en un anime, porque la parecer la tendencia es hacer una serie o película increíble pero poner la torta al final, quedando inconforme o decepcionado.

I don't know why I didn't see this movie before, I think it's a real gem, I think it does the job very well with the body swapping theme, I know it's nothing innovative because we've seen it in all kinds of movies before, however, they handle it perfectly because they give it their touch of satire with romance. What makes this movie special is when the reason for the body swapping is revealed, that is totally original, I don't remember having seen something like that before, it is also a point where the plot loses that stillness of what you think is the main idea, body swapping to achieve love, but it gets intense, even exciting, and then it knows how to calm you down and bring a smile of satisfaction and some tears to the most sensitive ones.
En cuanto a imagen o sonido, nada que criticar, me gusta las animaciones que acompañan con efectos digitales, para mi es una gran combinación que te da la sensación reto tipo cultura pop, pero con la modernidad de la época actual. Combinar una buena animación con una excelente historia no es para nada un desperdicio, parece obvio decir esto, pero se ve muy a menudo que las películas animadas de las grandes productoras y compañías que cuentan con un gran presupuesto, apuestas más a dar calidad gráfica, sacrificando mucho de la historia, eso es algo que nunca veras en el cine japones, incluso en aquellas películas que no son animadas. No se porque no vi antes esta película, me parece una verdadera joya, creo que hace muy bien la tarea con el tema del cambio de cuerpo, sé que no es nada innovador porque lo hemos visto en todo tipo de películas antes, sin embargo, lo manejan perfectamente porque le dan su toque de sátira con romance. Lo que hace especial a esta película es cuando se revela la razón de porque se da el cambio de cuerpos, eso si es totalmente original, no recuerdo haber visto algo así antes, además es un punto donde la trama pierde esa quietud de lo que crees es la idea principal, cambio de cuerpos para lograr el amor, pero se pone intensa, incluso emocionante, para luego saber calmarte y sacarte una sonrisa de satisfacción y algunas lágrimas a los más sensibles.

La vida en todos sus aspectos es Musubi, las relaciones interpersonales crean lazos y forman unión, como consecuencia experimentamos el amor.
