Finally, after so long, I have seen the movie Chef. I had been waiting to see it, but recently I started watching a series called The CHEF Show, where we will see Jon Favreau and which is inspired by the movie CHEF, with many references and I could not continue watching the series without watching the movie first. Debo mencionar que me encuentro envuelto en el mundo de la cocina y este tipo de películas o series, las disfruto desde otra perspectiva. Puede que las actuaciones sean malas o buenas, que los efectos especiales sean malos o buenos, independiente de esa parte técnica, he podido como romper esa barrera y encontrar entretenimiento, que al final es lo que busco. Eso si, cuando los elementos técnicos están bien logrados, se disfruta más del contenido.

If this movie were to hit the big screen this 2022, not so movie fans would quickly recognize many of the actors. Regardless of the fame of each of the actors, I was delighted to find a cast that was a bit odd, but somehow connected with each other very well, at least some of them.
Chef es una película del año 2014, cuenta con la participación de varios actores famosos como Sofía Vergara, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, John Leguizamo y el protagonista Jon Favreau. Realmente hay más actores famosos, pero el tema es que no se que tan famosos eran estos actores en el año 2014. Si esta película fuese llegado a la pantalla grande este 2022, rápidamente las personas no tan cinéfilas, fuesen reconocido a muchos actores. Independiente de la fama de cada uno de los actores, me encantó encontrarme con un elenco un poco extraño, pero que de alguna manera se conectaron entre ellos muy bien, por lo menos entre algunos de ellos.

CHEF no es una película donde no se ve comida, aquí hay bastante y eso me encanta. Hay técnicas, sabores, colores y demás elementos que si eres fan de cocinar, saldrás queriendo preparar algunos platos. Esta película fue el detonando para comenzar una serie de post que he tenido en mente, sobre recrear algunos platos de comida que veo en las películas y ya se por donde voy a comenzar.

I was a little sad when the movie ended, I was already at a very comfortable point and wanted the movie to continue. It's not a movie where you see great performances, so to speak, but rather we see how things would naturally be. That's not to say that the roles the actors played in the film and the acting wasn't difficult and they did a great job, I mean that as you watch the film, the performances flow in a natural and simple way that is easily adapted to reality.
Me encanta como se desarrolla la película, con toques predecibles, pero que de alguna forma le dan esa magia que te hace querer verla sin parar. Me puse algo triste cuando termino la película, ya estaba en un punto muy cómodo y quería que la película continuara. No es una película donde se ven grandes actuaciones, por así decirlo, sino que mas bien vemos como serian las cosas de forma natural. Eso no quiere decir que los papeles que representaron los actores en la películas y la actuación, no fuera difícil e hicieran un gran trabajo, me refiero a que mientras vas viendo la película, las actuaciones fluyen de manera natural y sencillas, que se adaptan fácilmente a la realidad.

The United States has an interesting gastronomic culture, product of all the people who have emigrated to that country and that is present in the film, directly and indirectly. Jon Favreau received training from a chef, to achieve realism in the cooking scenes and it can be seen that he put a lot of effort, as the scenes feel well done, natural, as if he were an expert chef and I really applaud his performance. It is so much that he liked cooking, that he came out in the series The CHEF Show.
Quizás puede que este exagerando, pero yo me pude conectar rápido con la película, algunas cosas se asemejan a mis realidades y eso me encanto. Estados Unidos tiene una cultura gastronómica interesante, producto de todas las personas que han emigrado a ese país y eso esta presente en la película, de manera directa e indirectamente. Jon Favreau recibió entrenamiento de un chef, para lograr realismo en las escenas de cocina y se puede notar que se esforzó bastante, ya que las escenas se siente bien logradas, naturales, como si fuera un chef experto y de verdad aplaudo su actuación. Tanto se ve que le gusto cocinar, que salió la serie The CHEF Show.

En la película veremos como crece una relaciona padre e hijo, uno de mis puntos favoritos y por el cual no quería que se acabara la película. Fue como esas vacaciones donde la estas pasando muy bien, pero cada día va pasando y sabes que pronto tendrás que regresar a casa. La película tiene bonitas enseñanzas, que van a depender de tu estado de animo o de donde te encuentres en la vida, pero a manera general, esta la superación, valorar a las buenas personas que tenemos al lado y que nos dan buenos consejos, pero sobre todo el poder darse cuenta de cuales son las cosas mas importantes que están a nuestro alrededor y que necesitan que les dediquemos tiempo.

A veces es necesario regresar a nuestros orígenes para darnos cuenta de que cosas estamos haciendo mal y que cosas podemos mejorar. Me llevo eso de esta película y unas ganas terribles de cocinar, así que no se extrañen si dentro de poco comparto algunas recetas inspiradas en esta grandiosa película. Si, puedo mencionar algunas cosas negativas, pero la pase tan bien, que mejor no las comento. ¡Hasta una próxima reseña!
