I'm at the third season of this fabulous series. What do you mean, have not you seen it yet? To remedy! As I put netflix it was the first series I started watching and although I'm not slow, I'm recovering the missing episodes. The characters are incredibly characteristic and you will love some of them, which will waver your tireless heterosexuality. What is this series about? Of the detainees.
Piper Chapman, a sweet blond of Connecticut, is being charged with a minor crime and locked in Litchfield's female prison. Arriving there meets her ex-lover, a sensual and ambiguous drug dealer, Alex Vause. Despite Piper having an adorable boyfriend at home, his passion for Alex explodes again and between them begins a relationship Meanwhile, inside the jail, the stories of other detainees, the sweet dandy, the unkempt boo, the mad crazy eyes, the Red Cook cook and their stories intertwine with that of Piper and Alex, create a network of relationships from strange dynamics, grudges, loves, wars. As the series continues, some characters go away, others enter.
The cast is exceptionally beautiful, there is the beautiful Laura Prepon and the tattooed Ruby rose model. The series is original Netflix created by Jenji Kohan, very much the theme of love and sex between women, this series tells ironically various taboo themes, not just about sexuality, but also an un idealized female universe and a lot of other forbidden stuff. A series of nothing at all masked, in a universe of women, each with its precise and unique personality, sometimes in conflict with each other, sometimes in union, in a succession of shots and flashbacks about life before the prison. The characters are so well characterized that you can not help but love them and you will definitely have your favorites. Never trivial, unpolluted characters, which, during the seasons, grow, change, transform. In short it is a series not to be missed. Full of burning themes, from religion, to sex, to family, to lgbt, transgender, to jail, to abuses, to death.
