Synopsis: Mahito is a young boy who, unexpectedly, ends up discovering some different ways to deal with the death of his mother, in the midst of a complex world where the living and the dead learn that when death comes to an end and life always finds a way to create a new beginning.

Exactly ten years ago Hayao Miyazaki announced to the world that he was retiring from his work as a filmmaker. Now, fortunately, for those who appreciate his incredible work, he is back and delivering one of his best movies. Creating a true visual delight (which is truly a spectacle for the eyes) mixing a whirlwind full of strong feelings, but also very effusive (although at times subjective in their conceptions) in a way that only he can see. Literally, he writes and draws poetry in front of the screen for almost two hours. An extremely rich and imposing work.

Dexerto

Set in the infamous scenario of the Second World War, the script relies on a narrative that appears to be simple, but it doesn't take long to prove itself as a complex drama (something that I personally see with a much slower pace in terms of animations). Bringing themes such as war itself, mourning, the importance of family, the search for overcoming and understanding the “incompressible”, as well as many other points that converge to pave this excellent plot, this is by far one of the best movies of the career from this king of Asian animations.

The starting point of this adventure is a personal event in the life of young Mahito, who loses his mother in a fire. After that, his father and he move to an old village where they lived and upon settling into their new home, the boy befriends a heron who mysteriously introduces him to a “new world”. This is the “portal” he needs to find the answers he desperately seeks. Intertwining past, present and future, the script warns us: that some things do not need to be forgotten, but rather better understood, so that life can take its course properly.

The Projector

Using and abusing elements that some moments bring a somewhat “psychedelic” atmosphere to the development of its plot, the script dives deep (at least until its first half of projection, where everything is more intense and more significant) to establish its roots in a moving drama. There is a somewhat dreamlike perspective here, at the same time that an impeccable graphic parade explodes onto the screen, translated through the supernatural in the forms of animals and situations that invite you to reflect on the movie at every moment. All this done in a stupendous way.

The way Mahito is developed and how he ends up being “drawn” into a new universe is captivating, and even though throughout the script the plot reuses some narrative arguments already used in other Miyazaki movies, there is nothing that harms the quality of the movie. material in its essence. The only reservation I have here is the decision to repeat these arguments within the movie itself, because this ends up making some scenes a little tiring, and without a reason for existing in their unnecessary complexity (as happens with the more secondary characters).

Empire

Some peculiar aspects are distributed throughout the movie, and they all help to create its own identity for this incredible project. The emotional side mixes with the fantastic side of infinite possibilities to deliver many possibilities to watch and feel the same story. Not even the obviousness in some moments takes away the quality of an almost impeccable movie. Intriguing in almost everything it sets out to do, the percentage of successes here is infinitely higher than the percentage of errors (which is very low). The fable of life and death is terrifying.

There is a slow pace in the development of the plot, but everything is justified so that there is the necessary immersion so that the impact of the story can be felt. There are many layers within a single project and perhaps that is why there are also so many loose ends after the movie reaches its end. The subjectivity of some events is purposeful, in a healthy way, so that there is an internal debate that each viewer can have with themselves when reflecting and rethinking their own life. There is room for different conclusions, and all of them can make some sense.

Vox

In some way, the narrative focuses on our pain of mourning as human beings and how it is possible to give new meaning to our time (and also our space) in the world, which may not be the only one. Within this premise, the script and development try to go further, but fail to be as skillful in its third act. Basically, because there is a lot of rush to conclude a plot that ends up not being finished between the lines. However, everything is very competent because the movie ends in a satisfactory way, although it could have been a little more developed.

Exuding mastery in yet another project, Studio Ghibli delivers technical work with an absurdly beautiful quality, full of striking features and a set of vibrant colors that is surreal. The technical side that encompasses the soundtrack is also excellent, and in some certain scenes, it manages to be intoxicating as it manages to conceive an entire very powerful dramatic concept through extremely well-orchestrated sound chords. The editing gets it completely right, tying the entire project together perfectly, delivering the right messages at the right moments.

Written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki himself in a very intense and to some extent personal way (I believe), The Boy and the Heron is a sensational work, and even though it relies on confusing moments that scream for further explanation, one of the magics of script is precisely to leave the audience “confused” and creating their own theories about all the points covered within the narrative. The level of fantasy is high, the characters are charismatic, the conception of the ideas presented is good and all of this shows how Miyazaki is still very relevant to cinema.

Ahora, afortunadamente, para aquellos que aprecian su increíble trabajo, está de regreso y presenta una de sus mejores películas. Exudando maestría en otro proyecto más, Studio Ghibli ofrece un trabajo técnico con una calidad absurdamente hermosa, lleno de características llamativas y un conjunto de colores vibrantes que es surrealista. El aspecto técnico que engloba la banda sonora también es excelente, y en algunas escenas determinadas llega a ser embriagador ya que consigue concebir todo un concepto dramático muy potente a través de acordes sonoros extremadamente bien orquestados. La edición es completamente correcta, uniendo todo el proyecto a la perfección y entregando los mensajes correctos en los momentos correctos.

Escrita y dirigida por el propio Hayao Miyazaki de una manera muy intensa y hasta cierto punto personal (creo), El chico y la garza es una obra sensacional, y aunque se basa en momentos confusos que piden a gritos más explicaciones, una de las magias del guion es precisamente dejar al público “confundido” y creando sus propias teorías sobre todos los puntos tratados dentro de la narración. El nivel de fantasía es alto, los personajes son carismáticos, la concepción de las ideas presentadas es buena y todo ello demuestra cómo Miyazaki sigue siendo muy relevante en el cine.

Sinopse: Mahito é um jovem garoto que, inesperadamente, acaba descobrindo alguns caminhos diferentes para lidar com a morte de sua mãe, em meio a um mundo complexo onde os vivos e os mortos aprendem que quando à morte chega ao fim e a vida sempre encontra um jeito de criar um novo começo.

Há exatos dez anos Hayao Miyazaki havia anunciado ao mundo à sua aposentaria do seu trabalho como cineasta. Agora, felizmente, para os apreciadores dos seus trabalhos incríveis, ele está de volta e entrega um dos seus melhores filmes. Criando um verdadeiro deleite visual (que é realmente um espetáculo para os olhos) misturando a um turbilhão cheio de sentimentos fortes, mas também muito efusivos (embora em alguns momentos subjetivos em suas concepções) de um jeito que só ele consegue enxergar. Literalmente, ele escreve e desenha poesia diante na tela por quase duas horas. Um trabalho extremamente rico e imponente.

Há uma perspectiva meio onírica aqui, ao mesmo tempo que explode na tela um desfile gráfico impecável, traduzido através do sobrenatural nas formas de animais e situações que te convidam a refletir sobre o filme a cada momento. Tudo isso feito de maneira estupenda.

O modo como Mahito é desenvolvido e como ele acaba sendo “tragado” para um novo universo é cativante, e mesmo que ao longo do roteiro à trama reutilize alguns argumentos narrativos já usados em outros filmes de Miyazaki, não há nada que prejudique à qualidade do material em sua essência. A única ressalva que eu faço aqui é a decisão de repetir esses argumentos dentro do próprio filme, porque isso acaba tornando algumas cenas em algo um pouco cansativo, e sem uma razão de existir na sua complexidade desnecessária (como acontece com os personagens mais secundários).

Aspectos muito peculiares estão distribuídos pelo filme, e todos eles ajudam a criar uma identidade própria para esse projeto tão incrível. Existe espaço para diversas conclusões, e todas elas podem fazer um algum sentido.

De alguma maneira, a narrativa recai sobre a nossa dor do luto enquanto seres humanos e como é possível ressignificar o nosso tempo (e também o nosso espaço) no mundo, que talvez não seja o único. Dentro dessa premissa, o roteiro e o desenvolvimento tentam ir além, mas não conseguem ser tão hábeis em seu terceiro ato. Basicamente, porque há muita pressa em concluir uma trama que acaba não sendo finalizada em todas às suas entrelinhas. No entanto, tudo é muito competente porque o filme termina de maneira satisfatória, mas poderia ter sido um pouco mais desenvolvido.

Exalando maestria em mais um projeto, o Studio Ghibli entrega um trabalho técnico com uma qualidade absurdamente linda, repletos de traços marcantes e um conjunto de cores vibrantes que é surreal. O lado técnico que abrange a trilha sonora também é excelente, e em algumas determinadas cenas, consegue ser inebriante por conseguir conceber todo um conceito dramático muito poderoso através de acordes sonoros extremamente bem orquestrados. A edição acerta por completo, amarrando todo o projeto de maneira perfeita, entregando as mensagens certas nos momentos certos.

Escrito e dirigido pelo próprio Hayao Miyazaki de uma maneira muito intensa e até certo ponto pessoal (acredito eu), O Menino e a Garça é um trabalho sensacional, e mesmo que aposte em momentos confusos e que gritam por maiores explicações, uma das mágicas do roteiro é justamente deixar o público “confuso” e criando suas próprias teorias sobre todos os pontos abordados dentro da narrativa. O nível de fantasia é alto, os personagens são carismáticos, a concepção das ideias apresentadas é boa e tudo isso mostra o quanto Miyazaki ainda é muito relevante para o cinema.

As any other series after a couple of episodes with serious action it had to cool down, still showing those cool shots of how bombers get wreck by Flaks during those times, this time Buck and Bucky had to go all the way to Africa, after finally dropping bombs on German ball bearing factories but loosing most of their squad bombers were totaled, they were taken back to the base to regroup, not everyone had the same luck but were still alive landing all over Europe, now they had to lay low to avoid been discover by the enemy while trying to get back home.

On episode four there is a lot of talking, they try to add more drama to the series and in my opinion it did work but the episode probably was too divided, keep in mind since they are not all together now you have all this small stories going on at the same time, this probably takes attention from the main focus that is pilots and war, lower down the effect of previous episodes.

I'm getting closer to be on schedule with the TV Series I'm watching and posting about because there are so many coming up besides a few movies I want to post about too, have been grinding to get this done that I know will have certain effect on my account on the long term.

Reviews about Masters of The Air seem to be very divided, on RottenTomatoes you got Audience giving it a very low score compare to what this series truly is, yes its not a straight forward story, lots of names, some scenes get cut but is a story about so many pilots that you cant fit the entire book into 8 episodes, on the other hand users at IMDB seem to be more satisfied with it giving the series a 7.9/10, I personally think this is a great series but not for everyone, after reading about and watching the trailer when it came out I expect it to be a drama instead of a straight forward War Theme Tv Series, you have to be patient with it and actions scenes are very satisfying.

Very few bombers were able to land on Africa, some went down around Europe that was occupied by Germans in the case of France and some even had to land on the sea, I can only imagine how was that, I doubt a bomber would float like a boat and even if it did how long they would have to wait for coast guard or some one to pick them up? Sgt. Quinn went through a traumatic event when he could not open the hatch to let his partner get out of the turret and had to watch him go down with the plane while he scream for help but it was too late, if not both would be dead.

Quinn landed in France so did Sgt. Baily, lucky for them a group of allies got them under their wings but it was not easy to stay under cover, back then population was not so dense and not many were traveling so in a town most likely everyone knew each other besides Germans had under cover agents trying to infiltrate the resistance, Quinn and Baily had to presence this after they went through an extensive interview and shortly their allies friends put down who was suppose to be a German Spy, they had no experience on this field so Quinn and Baily did not identify the men as a spy and were astonish when he got murder on a the spot, shot twice on the head.

Buck and Bucky were back at the base ready to go up but still on this episode they were not flying every day, it was Pilot Dye who was coming back home and finally had 25 missions under his belt, the golden standard to basically retire form war, any pilot with 25 missions can go back home, when I think about this I wonder if they all went home I guess there were a few that had nothing to go to and the desire to fight was bigger, decided to look up and during WWII a German pilot Erich Alfred Hartmann had 1404 combat missions and from the allies Johnny Johnson from the Royal Air Force, a rear gunner; complete 92 missions in five years.

As most other episodes time lapse between scenes was very short, Quinn and Bailey were moving from one place to another with the help of the resistance but they knew nothing about been a spy or been under cover it became more evident when their new guide Michou figure out Quinn had to have something that could connect him with his lover, in this case a lover letter all because she saw him wearing a women scarf.

At the base lots of pilot got eager to complete 25 missions after Pilot Dye was able to do it but not Bucky and Buck, although Buck did decided to take a few days off during the weekend, he goes to town and meet a women on a bar, I didn't catch her name but while drinking shots they go through her story as a widow, her ex husband well she never got divorce; was also a pilot but after he went to war she never knew anything about him so she just assume he is dead too, living her live like there is no tomorrow and avoiding another Pilot as a lover since she now knows how things most likely will end for most pilots who go to war.

The 100th were once again going after the U-boat pens at Bremen, Major Cleven was eager more than anyone, he had a debt with this target but the mission was not shown during the episode, many more went down, I felt slightly mad about this because there was basically no air action this time, episode four was all drama but I have learn to deal with this and understand that's the flow of some series, they need to cool down unfortunately not all of them can do it without viewers noticing.

Quinn and Bailey arrive to Paris, it was packed with German officers and Michou gave them instructions of not saying a word, just follow her lead and let her do the talking but while they were still on the trail she left them alone for a few minutes and went to the bathroom, in that split of minutes the man who collect the train tickets ask Quinn for his ticket talking French, Quinn had no clue what to say and panic, start running away like he could escape but lucky for him there was another under cover agent looking after them and got him to calm down and go back to he sit, this was the only kinda action you will get on episode three and nothing more, I can see this been the slowest episode of all.

Back at the base Cpt. Rosie and his crew were one of the few bombers who survive, Buck went down, no scenes of the battle at all, while Bucky was still at the town after a wild night he had to watch rescue personal picking up a dead girl from the rubble of a building that was bombarded last night, this infuriate him and call the base because he wanted action, only to find out that Buck went down on his last mission.

This is the slowest episode so far, since episode one we had air battle scenes, on a nine episode mini series its understandable that at some point we had one of this only drama episodes and no go, I really really hope Buck is still alive some where because it would suck big time if they could not find a more suitable way to put him out, I understand this is a narrated story and not every single detail is known to men of what really happen but this are the situations I would expect writers to sprinkle some magic and change the story just a bit, can't have one of the three mayor characters go down this easy and without at least the scene of how it happen.

The story is about Adam a screenwriter and lonely man that live in a building in the outskirts of London thinking that is the only one living in that building, but one night he received a visit apparently was a neighbor named Harry, he show up drunk and trying to have something with Adam but he just close the door at him. After that situation Adam and Harry started meeting each other in the elevator and Adam take the decision of give him an opportunity of know Harry’s better starting a relationship. One of those days that they were expending time together Harry saw a picture and Adam mention that they were his parents that they died when he was only 12, in that moment the scene changed drastically showing us an Adam in the public train going to the suburbs to visit his childhood home but he never though that in that place he will found his dead parents living with the same age prior the accident even though that sub real moment Adam was not afraid at the contrary he decided that will live that moment with his family, passing all the time that he could until the point that decided to present Harry to his family, the day that they went together to Adam home arrived but no one answer making Harrys believe that Adam was crazy until the moment that he also could see Adam’s parents but after that everything change forcing Adam take a big decision if continue living that sub real life or return to his real life. The movie We Are all Strange will force the audience think in what is living Adam in the desire of bringing to life a beloved one to our present live, the movie found a lot of success on theaters and now its finally coming to streaming on Hulu.

We Are All Strangers (2024) is a drama and fantasy film written and directed by Andrew Haigh.This story is a fantasy created in Adam’s mind and to deal with this situation, he establishes a relationship with a neighbor named Harry, living odd moments that will making him pass through so many feelings, accepting them, clinging to them, loving them and also suffering for all of those them. A story of loneliness and acceptance.

Haigh is a director that like to create intimate stories that dig into themes of love, loss and passage of time things that he shows and expand in We are All Strangers, his first movie was Greek Pete 2009 a movie that made him earned the Artistic Achievement Award at Outfest, continue with the romantic drama Weekend 2011, in 2015 release the movie 45 years movie that made him earned Rampling an Academy Award nomination. The director is also known for TV Series such as Looking where he worked as co-creator and co-producer, in this movie Haigh took inspiration from Taichi Yamada’s novel Stranger and in addition the filming was made in Haigh’s actual childhood home and is a way from the director to show his commitment with this project bringing authenticity to it.

Andrew Scoot plays Adam, he is an Irish actor best known for his work in theater and his role on the TV Series Sherlock Holmes and in movie such as Spectre 2015, he will be appearing in the announce Netflix series Ripley 2024. Paul Mescal is Harry, Adams neighbor, Mescal is also an Irish actor he is known for his Emmy Award nomination for the miniseries Normal People, Mescal made his debut with in the film The Lost Daughter 2021 and continue with his good performce in Gods Creatures and Aftersun 2022. Action is about to kick in, certain events happen during episode two that will setup whats coming next, both Samantha and Jake just can't stay away from the Tokyo Mafia even though at times they try. Samantha recently open her own club where girls host high profile men and after two months of been open is starting to have several troubles that she know about although its the first time she have to deal with them as a club owner specially when it can become a problem something she needs to avoid been in business with Chihara-Kai and that is exactly whats going on for her, money is missing and is starting to be notice.

On episode two in my opinion there is only one thing towards the end that might be a big deal in the future but the rest is probably just the setup for whats coming next reason why for me Samantha, different than on episode one; took the show with all the troubles at Polina Club, Jake, Hiroto and Sato are basically just cruising at the moment.

Lots of bikes are been stolen in Tokyo to the point that it has been notice by police and the population, might not be a mayor problem, probably an easy type of news to be cover, a good catch for someone who is a reporter but wants to stay away from anything murder or high profile crime related.

Samantha club is doing very well although not all the girls seem to have a lot of experience but nothing mayor at the moment just a girl who doesn't properly manager her alcohol, over all the club is doing great, better than expected and she seem to be sharing those gains with her girls to keep them happy an motivated.

There is always a bad apple and in this case its her most profitable girl who has been taking from her, they don't go into details of how she has been doing it, consider this series is situated around the 80's so they didn't have that much tech to manage a business, probably most people still manage cash during those times so who knows if the girls charge clients cash and then pass on the tab to the house? point been is that Samantha fired Claudine her number one girl who threaten to take her clients with her, drying up Samantha's business but she is very proud and wont let that happen, that is why she goes to her very first Mama-San, ex manager at the first club she work for, asking for help to keep clients happy and having things running.

Jake has really step up his game at work, he is right now one of the best writers at the Meicho to the point that he is now given the privilege to decide what story to pick from the ones Meicho choose to develop, different when a reporter had to look for stories. After what happen to Jake for been chasing the Yakuza story he is trying to keep distance, he was given two options, stolen bikes or murder in a lake, he choose the stolen bikes story, low profile.

At Chihara-Kai, Sato is feeling better and Hayama has return after serving seven years in Fuchu, I assume prison. Hayama seem to have a higher profile on the organization and manage things the old way, more hardcore to Sato's taste but when been involve with the Mafia you cant be soft, everything is manage around respect and fear, not he Sato way, this start to generate certain differences between them as they are both send out to the street to collect and take over territory Tozawa invade recently.

Jake visits Samantha but not a friendly visit exactly, after some cheap chat he ask her for help with his Stolen Bikes story, she drives a bike, very good looking one and since she has contact with Chihara-Kai probably had some one who knows about the stolen bikes business, he was lucky because he did got to the gang that is stealing a lot of high profile bikes, they are more valuable when sold per parts, looks like production is falling short and cant keep up with the demand of parts for older bikes.

This is one of those events that I think its a juicy one for the series, Sato's brother is burning money some how, what Sato gives him is not enough, right now Sato is starting to hustle again but by no means he is rich so yeah probably he is not giving out large amounts to his brother who ask if he can work with him. Sato agree but told him straight away, one deal and that's it, no CHIHARA-KAI for him. I think this opens the door for in the future Sato brother bee part of Chihara-Kai too or be involve in the gang war, Sato has a large inventory from a sneaker store and wants to sell it through internet, his brother is kinda disappointed because has nothing illegal to do with, he wants some action too.

Episode two has very little to do with Hiroto, detective have been put on hold at the Complain Department, he is only taking reports from "Yakuza" crimes, just random people complaining about what ever but blaming Yakuza. After episode one I really though he was into something when he went rogue on Vice Minister but there is a big gap in time between both episodes. Hiroto is not in danger anymore, nor his family so he ask his wife to come back from the country side who answer back "why don't you retire and we stay here", he did not see this coming. Hiroto was offer to be part of new task force who at first he turn down because of the procedure Shoko Nagata in charge wanted to implement, goes against Hiroto ways of keeping things in balance rather than eradicating Yakuza, Shoko wants to cut Yakuza heads, after his wife proposition to retire his only way to get back in action and not retire is to accept Shoko offer and join her task force.

This are only a few of the important scenes and points I notice during the series, everything seem to be calm down, there is a big gap between episode one and two in terms of time, Sato is back, Samantha club is done and two months rolling. I didn't like how the Vice Minister story ended, I really though with Hiroto going all bad cop on him they will keep digging but that hole story died after the tapes were destroyed.

The function of the story in a film is an important element, personally I value that the story that we observe in a film production is more than attractive characters or fantasy scenes; I believe that what gives meaning to a film can transcend, depends on the story of one or more points of view; that is what always differs from one film to another and that is what captures my attention, that is precisely what I value in the film that I review in this publication because it is the story of several events what is really important for the success that this film has obtained.

A pesar de obtener grandes reconocimientos, gran valoración de críticos y por supuesto grandes premios, mantuve mis expectativas bajas porque quería sorprenderme y valorar lo que ofrecía esta historia sobre la resolución de un hecho traumático que afecta a una pequeña familia. Desde un principio la manera en como se relata la historia fue lo que captó mi atención y es que el uso de diferentes puntos de vista para dar no solamente introducción a los personajes principales, sino al hecho que origina la historia es muy bueno; el guion escrito por Justine Triet y Arthur Harari, expone lo importante de los hechos, lo que podemos ver, escuchar en vez de crear conjeturas, algo que es imposible no crear y es aquí lo importante de como está escrito el guion porque no solo somos espectadores, también somos parte de un gran jurado que debemos tomar cada relato y usarlo como rompecabezas para tener una idea sobre que ha sucedido.

La dirección de Triet es excelente, es sencilla, correcta, en momentos juega con nuestras mentes al momento de imaginarnos lo que ha ocurrido, nos convence y a la vez nos genera dudas y lo cual es perfecto porque coincide con el relato; personalmente pienso que al momento de escudriñar en la relación de los personajes, la película se hace mejor tanto visualmente como en el relato, se convierte en un gran show en dónde somos los espectadores que vamos tomando un lado con respecto a quien tiene la razón, aunque la ventaja nos la brinda Triet con las imágenes de los personajes en sus vivencias antes de un lamentable suceso.

Despite getting great recognition, great critical acclaim and of course great awards, I kept my expectations low because I wanted to be surprised and appreciate what this story about the resolution of a traumatic event that affects a small family had to offer. From the beginning the way the story is told was what captured my attention and the use of different points of view to introduce not only the main characters, but the event that originates the story is very good; the script written by Justine Triet and Arthur Harari, exposes the important of the facts, what we can see, hear instead of creating conjectures, something that is impossible not to create and it is here the important of how the script is written because we are not only spectators, we are also part of a great jury that we must take each story and use it as a puzzle to have an idea about what has happened.

The direction of Triet is excellent, it is simple, correct, at times it plays with our minds at the moment of imagining what has happened, it convinces us and at the same time it generates doubts and which is perfect because it coincides with the story; I personally think that at the moment of scrutinizing the relationship of the characters, the film becomes better both visually and in the story, it becomes a great show where we are the spectators who are taking a side with respect to who is right, although the advantage is given to us by Triet with the images of the characters in their experiences before an unfortunate event.

Si resaltó lo referente a los puntos de vista en este film, así como el guion y la dirección, no hay duda que el trabajo de los actores también tiene mucha importancia; Sandra Hüller como "Sandra Voyter" es perfecta; sus gestos, actitud, la facilidad de cambiar de un estado de felicidad a tristeza es lo que me ha sorprendido; su personaje en mi opinión demuestra a una viuda que tiene toda la particularidad de verse y ser culpable del crimen al que se le acusa; esto es perfecto para la historia porque Hüller interpreta a una escritora exitosa que se influye de la realidad para crear fantasía y regreso al manejo del relato, a los puntos de vista, ya que ella tiene todo el material para crear una nueva historia la cual podrá ser inocente o culpable; otra actuación que me gustó fue el del joven actor Milo Machado-Graner quien interpreta a "Daniel", en mi opinión es la verdadera y única víctima en esta historia, su punto de vista de todo lo sucedió es triste, es una manera trágica de ponerle fin a su inocencia; su trabajo en el tercer acto es de lo mejor; no quiero terminar este párrafo sin nombrar a Messi es un actor canino quien interpreta a "Snoop" perro guardián y guía de Daniel; quien tiene una gran escena y es de las mejores actuaciones del film, entiendo todo el reconocimiento que ha obtenido.

If I highlighted the points of view in this film, as well as the script and the direction, there is no doubt that the work of the actors is also very important; Sandra Hüller as "Sandra Voyter" is perfect; her gestures, attitude, the ease of changing from a state of happiness to sadness is what surprised me; her character in my opinion shows a widow who has all the particularity to see herself and be guilty of the crime she is accused of; this is perfect for the story because Hüller plays a successful writer who is influenced by reality to create fantasy and back to the story management, to the points of view, since she has all the material to create a new story which could be innocent or guilty; another performance that I liked was that of the young actor Milo Machado-Graner who plays "Daniel", in my opinion he is the true and only victim in this story, his point of view of everything that happened is sad, it is a tragic way to put an end to his innocence; I don't want to finish this paragraph without mentioning Messi is a canine actor who plays "Snoop" Daniel's guard dog and guide; who has a great scene and is one of the best performances of the film, I understand all the recognition he has obtained.

Anatomy of a Fall es un excelente film, es atrapante desde el relato de lo disfuncional de una familia, del desgaste de una relación de pareja en dónde cada una de las partes se ha fallado en muchas ocasiones y que la culpa y responsabilidades los mantiene unidos; justamente esa relación vive en una línea muy delgada entre el amor y odio, pero también entre el respeto e irrespeto siendo justamente eso el verdadero causante de toda esta historia que evoluciona al momento en que un integrante de esa familia muere desencadenando un número de conjeturas realizadas por personas que toman hechos, pruebas para crear un escenario en dónde se puede obtener una respuesta de lo sucedido; justamente lo antes descrito es que se use temas como por ejemplo la imposición de un relato para obtener una verdad que genere una justicia satisfactoria para el sistema y no algo concluyente; seguramente al ver la película y leer mi opinión podrán creer que tome una posición sobre lo que sucede en el film y creo que eso es lo que hace muy relevante esta historia que podrá tener un final, pero creo que todo depende de quien ha querido que la historia termine de esa manera. Recomiendo ver esta película, es formidable y una de las mejores que he visto este año.

Anatomy of a Fall is an excellent film, it is enthralling from the story of a dysfunctional family, the wear and tear of a relationship where each of the parties has failed on many occasions and that guilt and responsibility keeps them together; precisely that relationship lives on a very thin line between love and hate, but also between respect and disrespect being precisely that the real cause of this whole story that evolves when a member of that family dies triggering a number of conjectures made by people who take facts, evidence to create a scenario where you can get an answer to what happened; I am sure that when you see the film and read my opinion you may think that I take a position on what happens in the film and I think that is what makes this story very relevant, it may have an ending, but I think it all depends on who has wanted the story to end that way. Tuve la intención de ver esta película la vez pasada, pero al final me decidí por otra. Así que la guardé para hacerlo después y ese momento llegó. Debo decir que me encantó esta película. Tiene un buen ritmo de entrada, arranca con la boda y los protagonistas viéndose por primera vez. Al principio creí que ya se conocían porque intercambiaron miradas y ella le señaló el reloj porque él había llegado tarde. Pero resultó ser que no.

I had intended to watch this movie last time, but in the end I decided on another one. So I saved it for later and that time came. I must say that I loved this movie. It has a good pace right off the bat, it starts with the wedding and the main characters seeing each other for the first time. At first I thought they already knew each other because they exchanged glances and she pointed at his watch because he was late. But as it turned out, they didn't.

Toda esa parte inicial de ella proponiéndole tener sexo y lo que pasó después fue muy cómica. Esa parte terminó por convencerme de seguir viéndola. De hecho, tiene momentos muy divertidos desde el inicio y me gustó que estos dos tuvieran una muy buena química. En esta ocasión me convenció esta pareja, sentí que encajaban muy bien y en este tipo de películas es algo que valoro. 

That whole opening part of her proposing to him to have sex and what happened next was hilarious. That part ended up convincing me to keep watching it. In fact, it has very funny moments from the beginning and I liked that these two had a very good chemistry. This time around I was sold on this couple, I felt they fit together very well and in this type of movie that's something I value.

Además, ya conocía a estos actores de otras romcom, la increíble Lucy Hale tan hermosa y carismática como siempre, estos papeles le quedan muy bien y a Nat Wolff también le sientan bien. Nunca los había visto trabajar juntos, pero me gustó el resultado.

Besides, I already knew these actors from other romcoms, the amazing Lucy Hale as beautiful and charismatic as always, these roles suit her very well and Nat Wolff also suits her. I had never seen them work together before, but I liked the result.

Me pareció muy ingenioso el recurso que usaron cuando se contaban sobre sus relaciones pasadas, ya que hacían un flashback al pasado y el que le tocaba escuchar la historia a veces aparecía en el medio de la escena a opinar como si de verdad estuviera ahí observando la situación. Lo sentí un recurso dinámico, le aportó algo interesante a estas escenas.

I thought the resource they used when they told each other about their past relationships was very ingenious, since they made a flashback to the past and the one who had to listen to the story sometimes appeared in the middle of the scene to give his opinion as if he was really there observing the situation. I felt it was a dynamic resource, it brought something interesting to these scenes.

Ahora bien, ¿porqué digo al principio que es mucho más profunda de lo que aparenta de entrada? Al inicio parece muy superficial, pero a medida que avanzamos en la historia llegamos hasta donde se esconde el trauma mayor de estos dos personajes. Me conmovió bastante conocer ambas historias, pude notar su crecimiento y como fueron afianzando su relación. Ellos dos tuvieron una conexión increíble y al final lo sentí bastante significativo, es como que se mostraron lo peor del otro, pusieron todas las cartas sobre la mesa, se dijeron lo que tenían para decir y ante el miedo a fracasar de nuevo, dieron un paso adelante. 

Now, why did I say at the beginning that it is much deeper than it appears at first? At the beginning it seems very superficial, but as the story progresses we get to where the major trauma of these two characters is hidden. I was very moved by both of their stories, I could see their growth and how they were strengthening their relationship. The two of them had an incredible connection and at the end I felt it was quite meaningful, it's like they showed the worst of each other, they put all their cards on the table, they told each other what they had to say and in the face of the fear of failing again, they stepped forward.

Hacía mucho tiempo que no me quedaba tan satisfecha con un final de película de este estilo, porque no es romántico de felices por siempre. Es un sí, lo vamos a intentar a ver hasta dónde nos lleva esto pese al miedo. Es un final valiente. Me encantó el mensaje de esta película y lo que me transmitió. Así que mi calificación es más que positiva. Recomiendo esta película a todos. Es ideal para ver algo divertido y significativo al mismo tiempo. 

It's been a long time since I've been so satisfied with a movie ending of this style, because it's not a happily ever after romance. It's a yes, we're going to try and see how far this takes us despite the fear. It's a brave ending. I loved the message of this movie and what it conveyed to me. So my rating is more than positive. I recommend this movie to everyone. It is great to see something fun and meaningful at the same time.

At the end of the day all average viewers want is entertaining, its just a very small niche of users who turn on their TV to get "educational" content or anything that stick to reality, truth is that most people turn on the TV to escape from reality, based on this concept Halo didn't fail, anyone saying this is just wrong about its success, YES things don't happen as in the game, YES when a adaptation goes off rails it usually fails although Halo is an action series with drama and that's exactly what its doing, brings good action scenes and drama makes enough sense for viewers to fall for it.

Episode two of season two is a LOT of talking, there is only one single scene where there is some action although the drama keeps evolving with Silver Time out of the pill, discovering and experiencing new emotions for them as they go. Side stories like Kwan, Ackerson and now Ritz keep developing more adding to the drama and at some point I think everyone will be involve in some way during the attack to Reach by the Covenant, there is also the come back of Cortana who I think eventually get back with Master Chief once they are out number as in the trailer.

Parallel is a movie that tell the story of Vanessa a woman that is in grief for the memory of her death child she star filling weird in the place where she is in that moment that is the family lake house and near to the house is a forest claimed as an reservation side, one day she decided to go out and walk around but she really feel that was something wrong with the forest even though she continue walking until she found a mysterious place that result to be an old facilities that was used for unknown experiments that concern Vanessa and after that day weird events started happening in Vanessa’s house like birds hitting the window, she watched his brother in law leave her house but at the second see him again but getting out of the bathroom, Vanessa started to think that she is getting crazy and her husband began thinking the same about her asking her to please search for professional help because he love her but can’t continue watching loosing herself. Vanessa decided to find out what is happening in that place but suddenly in the forest she encounter with a man that she though was her husband but he explained to her that he is not her husband that he is a man from another place and time and also explain that exist parallel worlds and a bridge that connect theme all making theme to coexist but now they are enter in conflict since that moment she is going to start living a twisted life with chaotic events but determine to find her child in one of those worlds. This movie will make the audience watch how multiples versions of the characters will intercept themself in a hunting not to coexist but to conquer and be the only version in all the worlds, it is a complex premise and viewers are going to unscramble everything until the last minute of movie.

The main idea is to show a multiverse and the different version of the characters involve in the plot, this is a kind of story that will keep the audience thinking in all those worlds that are entangle existing between universe until the point of meeting together and affecting their reality, that is the way that the movie is capturing the audience by playing with their mind trying to found out what is real, also talked about the loss of a mother and the daily pain in all her memories but everything change when she discover those parallel universe and think that probably in one of those world her baby still alive, unfortunately when she decided to crossed to other world she is not the only that is doing the same and will star facing dangers that she never imagined. There is a lot of thinking on this movie and to a certain point a risky move since it could be very tricky to have actors put out the enough amount of emotions and at the same time the script needs to be on point to call this a success and create the right reaction from viewers.

The cast began with Danielle Deadwyler she take the role of Vanessa showing her versatile acting skills, she has worked in film, TV series and theater with notable performances including her role in the movie The Devil to Pay and the movie Till a thriller that address racism with intention of raising awareness. The cast follows Aldis Hodge, Vanessa’s husband, Hodge is a multifaceted actor that has played many roles in TV Series and movies such as Die Hard with a Vengeance, Bed of Roses, Black Adam, Straight Outta Compton and many others his last production was Marmalade where he gave a great performance showing his great acting skills and last but not least is Edwin Hodge that plays the role of Vanessa’s brother in law. Hodge’s career began with appearances in popular TV series such as Boston Public, Jack & Bobby and NCIS where he shows his value and versatility as an actor however it was his role as Dante Bishop in the series of movies Purge that solidified his status as a rising star in Hollywood. Is important to mention that Aldis Hodge and Edwin Hodge are brothers making a great synergy with their performances and including actress Danielle Deadwyler to complete the gear on this production.

The director of this movie is Kourosh Ahari an Iranian director, screenwriter and producer, his career in the cinema field began with short films that caught attention for their innovative approach and visual, he made his debut with the adaption The Yellow Wallpaper from the book with the same name it is a story of a woman that suffer postpartum depression that begins to lose her sanity all during a time where mental health and women right didn’t exist, in 2020 he brings his new movie The Night a horror thriller that tell the story of an Iranian couple that travel to USA for tourism but they get lost and tired decided to stay in a motel but inside the room they are trapped for real demons and the the demons of their relationship that begin to materialize in front of them. Kourosh Ahari is a director that like to bring psychological and horror stories making the viewer think for what is true or false, with the movie Parallel Ahari ventures into the world of science fiction and received acclaims at various film festivals.

Parallel is bringing more about multiverse but in a different way, is not a movie about superheroes with amazing powers is about the story of a mother trying to cure her grief and pain through the possibility of get reunite with her death child but in another world, the story of strength and power to fight for a dream but also a story of same characters from different worlds that will fight to be the main character for all the different universe that can exist. A psychological thriller that will keep the audience without blinking just for not loose any little detail of the drama to not get lost. Kourosh Ahari is raising his value with each movie he direct showing his unique vision and giving the audience that space to think about what is important in life, is making the audience reevaluate the important of family and also reevaluate what is around us, in what is real or false. Parallel is a movie that will keep you at the edge of every event and needs to be concentrated to meet the true and confirm if at the end Vanessa’s achieve her goal.
