I always appreciate to see productions that take the initiative to use different genres to tell a story, although I know that there is also one (genre) that will work as a base to use other aspects that will be very important for different moments of the story; this opinion that I share with you is the way to define the film that in this publication I will make a brief review and that uses fantasy, dark comedy, horror and romance in a natural way.

"Dream Scenario", a film released last year which tells the story of "Paul Matthews", a man with a simple life that goes from being a family man and a biology professor at a university; one day Paul begins to get some notoriety first in people he knows and it is among acquaintances as family and friends begin to dream about him, a strange coincidence which becomes even bigger when students and strangers also begin to dream about him; Something that makes him "viral" and provides him with a certain fame that Paul believes he is ready to live, but the reality is different and precisely what happens in the dreams will take its toll and it is at that moment where the dreams will become nightmares.

This film is directed and written by Kristoffer Borgli, a young Norwegian director who has three films in his repertoire; in this film, which is produced by Ari Aster; it seems that he did not want to move away from other productions where dreams are important and although there is no clear reference to "Inception", some of the dream scenes made it impossible not to think of Nolan's film, I also appreciate that he takes into account another classic film where dreams are of utmost importance. This is the first work I've seen from Borgli and I loved his way of directing, going from comedy to horror, was something that I thought was great, as well as the discomfort and tension in many of his scenes; the way the story flows with its different genres is due to him and motivates me to see his previous film "Sick of Myself", released in 2022.
I will be very simple about the script and I want to clarify that this is due to restrain myself from making spoilers of the film; I like that this situation of getting fame in a very strange way happens to a man in his 50's, someone is repressed dreams and underestimated, this is perfect for the development of this story and that is one of the positive points of the film; just this is a story about fame, getting it in a magical way, dealing, suffering and living with that unthinkable factor which will change however the family of one or several people, is the main theme told from the point of view of a man who would like to get all the recognition he believes he deserves.

This was the second film I saw of Nicolas Cage from 2023 and in both of them he did a great job; referring to this film, I think his casting was an excellent choice, Cage, knows how to play those characters that can be very uncomfortable and "Paul" is because believe me this actor can make the simplest thing become uncomfortable, he is perfect he is comic and at the same time terrifying, but there is one more element which is that he can express sadness, loneliness, regret, elements that I was surprised to see again from this actor; in my opinion it is one of his best works.

Dream Scenario fulfilled all the expectations I had although I thought it might be complicated to understand, but this was not the case because it is a satire of what we can observe in every week of our lives when we are very much into social networks, I mean how easy it is to make someone famous, accept them, say they are the best and in an instant turn them into the worst because of simple anecdotes, blame them, judge them or point them out for something, that now has more power than ever and this film uses the element of fantasy, comedy and even horror to create a perfect critique; this is a good film and if I may, I advise not to focus so much on the origin of the dreams (which is answered in the film), you should pay attention to what it generates in Paul's life.

Synopsis: A very intimate portrait of the life of the famous American conductor and composer Leonard Bernstein, and his wife and actress Felicia Montealegre Cohn.
Before being filmed, I always prefer to believe that any biopic is primarily thought of as a cinematographic product whose main objective is to make the audience have an immersive experience within a narrative that existed in the real world (not necessarily with all the facts being completely real, which actually ends up being a pattern within these types of movies, because they always opt for creative liberties to create their own universe sometimes). Unfortunately, this doesn't always happen, and this movie is a great example of this.

Produced by Netflix, the script explores (or at least tries to) the life of Leonard Bernstein, going from his first great professional achievement (at the age of 25 and in an extremely surprising way, he began his journey in search of fame after being duly recognized as the first-born conductor in the United States after conducting an important orchestra relying on his improvisation, and of course, his notorious talent) until the end of his marriage to Felicia Montealegre Cohn. Amidst many personal episodes, the couple ends up having discussions about their lives.
Simply put, this is the context of the movie. However, what should be a priority for the script (the maestro's relationship with his job) ends up being put almost completely aside, and the plot relies on a completely exaggerated exposition of his personal life (more precisely in the extramarital relationships he had with his male lovers). This exchange of places also leaves room for Felicia herself to gain more prominence in the plot, because while Leonard conducts the orchestras, she is the one who ends up acting as a soloist throughout almost the entire movie.

Although the movie has an interesting initial pace, it is clear from the beginning that the focus of the plot would be very far from what the product seen in its trailer. The movie isn't about Leonard's work balanced with his life, it's just about his life being exposed in an empty way. At times, it's even embarrassing to realize how much all of this is overvalued within a story that should go in a completely different direction. A sequence of errors occurs in the construction of the narrative, which becomes increasingly tiring throughout the projection.
In the midst of this mistaken approach, the script even tries to insert some “emblematic” scenes (in particular, when he conducts the London Symphony Orchestra, in Ely Cathedral... and here it is worth mentioning that this is a scene that should have been cathartic due to its emotional weight, but it is just an excess of mannerism on the part of an exaggerated performance, which, however, was well filmed), but nothing has a positive effect because the plot loses all its potential due to the terrible choices of arguments that are worked on the screen. A real waste of potencial.

Bradley Cooper directs the project, and also stars in it (a bad decision in this search for validation of his name as a director, because the work he shows here is very archetypal and negatively exaggerated in many ways). Despite being well intentioned, it is very obvious his desperation in trying to make the movie about him (which in fact it should have been) with all the wrong arguments possible (mainly the fixation on close-ups of his mannerisms and his face, with the obvious highlight for the prosthetic nose he wears, which is almost a new character).
On the other hand, Carrey Mulligan is sensational. As a complex and layered character with very heavy psychological challenges, she does the complete opposite of what Cooper does as Leonard (who delivers his best moments in a very restrained way) and delivers one of his best and strongest actuations. The duo works very well on screen, but Mulligan always steals the show when he appears, precisely because he has such a mature and impactful construction. Literally, she attracts attention whenever she appears, and becomes the protagonist.

Maestro had all the elements to become a relevant biopic, but it ends up being just a very forgettable movie due to its approach. Technically well executed (with a highlight for the great photography and also for the very captivating soundtrack as it was completely based on Leonard's own work in several works throughout his life), but still, very poor in its development by unable to deal with even their own controversies. Cooper tried to be a showman (he really did everything for this), but ended up shooting himself in the foot.

This time we will see Jason Statham as Adam Clay, a former agent of a clandestine organization known as Beekeepers who, after the death of his friend and neighbor by suicide due to being the victim of a phishing scam, goes on a mission of revenge against the corrupt organization running this show who has affected many others but this is the first victim he knows of, the mor he goes deeper into this world of scams, crime and corruption, Clay finds himself confronting in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with the ruthless leader of the Beekeepers Wallace Westwyld played by Jeremy Irons.

I’m not sure if this movie was on porpouse or when exactly it was written but it serves very well as an example of everything going on now days on the internet, with the booming of crypto currency the amount of scams going on every day are countless and the amount of people getting damage emotionally to the point of comiting suicide is very worring but crypto is not the reason all this is happening it is just that it came during a time that technology has facilitated communications so much and crypto currency are rising tech who have a speculative high value for the most part, but in certain ways this movie does reflect what is going on day by day.

In addition to Jason Statham as the main protagonist, the cast of this movie includes Emmy Raver-Lampman playing Agent Verona Parker, a CIA agent who joins Clay in his search for justice same as Clay. Bobby Naderi is Agent Matt Wiley, another CIA agent who helps Parker and Clay on their mission. Josh Hutcherson stars as Derek Danforth, the son of the US president kidnapped by the Beekeepers since they seem to go rouge when things go south for them. Jeremy Irons plays Wallace Westwyld, the leader of the Beekeepers and the main antagonist of this movie. Minnie Driver rounds out the cast as Director Janet Harward, the head of the CIA and Parker’s boss, quite the cast from many previous hits like Batman, Hunger Games, Umbrella Academy, this should be a very entertaining movie and be ready for every single fantasy action scene that Statham can pull of, this wont be your straigh cop street fight.

Opinions from “pro critics” online The Beekeeper has been mixed, with some praising its action sequences and Statham’s performance, while others criticizing its plot and pacing, because lets face it this is a hero movie who saves the day this is not a movie for some kind of social impact although it does has one, scams are bad, but its obvious that “for now” it has been most applauded by critics is social opinion on the dangers of online scams and corporate corruption lets see peoples opinion once its release, remember 2023 what happen with all the movies “pushing messages”, from the other side of the fence ther have been some that have dismissed the film as a simple action film lacking depth and originality.
My expectations for The Beekeeper is high, need that dopamine rush, I would like to see Statham return to his roots as an action hero, I am also intrigued by the plot figuring out exactly what “Alfred” is going to do as the bad guy of the movie, the trailer already have a few great action scenes, there is a lot of revenge against a corrupt organization, I hope the trailer didn’t gave everything what the movie has, with a strong cast and a well known writer this time as director David Ayer, he wrote one of my all time favorite movies “End of Watch” this will be an hour and forty five minutes roller coaster of some talking, then fighting and shooting then some more talking and it goes on and on, not that it will necesary do great a record breaking at the box office but many comments from the trailer and the aspects of the movie online expect it to have a good reception from the audience.

[_Cover Image_](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt5497778/quotes/)Buenas, damas y caballeros.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Browsing Twitter, one encounters every social dilemma and discussion about any stupidity, but we could say that something good sometimes comes out of all that, you just have to look well. All this writing about this started from a debate about whether Chinese social points existed or were just a meme, I understand that it is the latter, that's why there are thousands of funny images of things that supposedly give you points or take them away, besides the source that supposedly is a reality was a right-wing newspaper, which usually talks about countries like China because it is considered communist, but well, putting aside political issues, during my research I found that supposedly Black Mirror had made an episode referring to this topic or possibility. Therefore, I had no choice but to check it out to understand a little more about the subject in question, if it really was about that but I found something much more basic, a critique of today's society that bases everything on its virtual interactions and on social networks, a common and repeated theme to exhaustion nowadays, although it is a problem that is really present. So, without further ado, let's talk about Nosedive, since I have no other choice.
This episode puts us in the shoes of Lacie, a girl addicted to the current system, where her only interest is to increase her interactions to have a high score that allows her to access more benefits. The higher the score, the more luxuries. Each person has a score, and if it's low, they are practically considered scum by society. Because Lacie's brother plans to move, she decides to buy a house in an upscale neighborhood. But to do this, she needs to increase her score to at least a 4.5 rating. Lacie, being very close to her goal, decides to seek advice from an interactions expert, who recommends her to try to interact with people who have higher scores, as their interactions have much more value than those of average people. Her big opportunity comes when her childhood friend, an influential person, decides to invite her as the guest of honor at her wedding to give a speech. At the wedding, there will be many people with high scores, and if what she says moves the audience, she would gain a lot of highly valued interactions. Unfortunately for Lacie, nothing goes as expected, and she ends up much worse than she started, unleashing a complete state of madness in herself, making us reconsider many things about what we experience today.
I think the message is quite clear as soon as we start watching, all because of the attitude of the protagonist, who asks for things in a food place just to upload them to social media and appear interesting, she actually doesn't like the cookies or the tea she ordered, she just likes to pretend in front of others, pretending to be something she's not and this is not an isolated case, everyone does the same and let themselves be guided by what a number says, you must follow the herd mentality in order to survive in this cruel society, if you don't follow the masses you'll be criticized, as reflected in Lacie's work where everyone turned against a man who had broken up with his partner in order to lower his score, he then decides to offer things to regain some points, Lacie accepts a drink from him, which the others were not pleased with, giving her negative points as well. Truly, if a society like that existed, it would be more like a prison where everything has to be correct and where fake and hypocritical conversations are maintained in order to not be seen as bad, besides the inevitable fall into ostracism for those with a low score, destined to live a life of limited resources and being judged by others without knowing them beforehand, because a low score doesn't mean you are inherently bad, as shown in the course of the episode with the lady with a score of 1 who helps Lacie reach a specific place.
I think the only thing I didn't like about what I saw is that at certain moments or during several scenes, you know that the protagonist is going to humiliate herself for the simple purpose of obtaining positive interactions on her profile. Honestly, I had to pause on several occasions because of the second-hand embarrassment I was feeling just by watching the protagonist. But well, maybe it won't happen to others, but in my case, it did. This doesn't mean it affects the quality of the critique, it may even reinforce it in a certain way. How many people are there humiliating themselves on the internet for interactions? A lot, there's no need to even think about the answer. The ending could be considered somewhat ironic in a way. The protagonist gets what she always wanted when she can finally be considered someone free, where she doesn't have to rely on interactions and can say what she wants regardless of what others say. Lacie's brother had told her from the beginning that she was only pretending to be someone she wasn't. Maybe that's why she ended up stooping so low, so that she finally realizes the reality she lives in and how flawed that system is. In a way, in the real world, where you and I live, we haven't reached this point yet. But seeing the direction that social media is taking with its rules, perhaps something like this could happen in a very distant future. Who knows, the possibilities are endless.

¡Hola amigos!
Hello friends! Today I bring you the review of a movie based on real events recently released on the Netflix platform. I'm talking about Society of The Snow.

Trama - Plot
This film is based on the Los Andes tragedy that happened in 1972 when a plane carrying 44 passengers on their way from Uruguay to Chile for a Rugby championship lost control in the Andes and ended up crashing in the snow causing several of them to die on the spot and many others to be injured. But, against all odds, there were survivors who had to do the unthinkable to stay alive. This is their story and that of those who did not make it.

Realistic and raw films if there are any. I was amazed with this level of production and how they managed to create a chilling and moving scenario. It makes you feel in your soul what these people had to endure.
It is always interesting to see how the survival instinct seems to be activated in extreme situations, so much so that one goes from questioning certain actions thinking that one would never be able to do something like that, but when the time comes it is do or die. And sometimes the instinct is stronger and the only thing left to do is to obey it.
These people had to endure extreme temperatures with no shelter other than the front shell of the plane, the coats they wore and their own human warmth, in a place where life is non-existent in the season before the thaw, with temperatures dropping 30 degrees at night. Water was obtained from the snow that during the day with the help of the sun began to melt a little. The main drawback was the food, there was no food anywhere. So they endured 9 days before deciding that if they wanted to survive they should start eating what was closest at hand, even though it had been discussed and judged: the bodies of people who had already died. But not everyone agreed, some held out much longer by sheer force of conviction, until they gave in to hunger and the insistence of their companions.
It is a film that is very shocking and uncomfortable to watch on many occasions, but it is still part of our history and is further proof of the ability of human beings to cope in extreme situations. It teaches you that you must never lose hope, you have to fight until your body says enough is enough. And yet, when the body says enough is enough, it can also be a sign of hope. If you watch it, you will surely understand what I am talking about.
The performances were excellent and the make-up team deserves a round of applause for their impeccable work. It was also touching to see the real survivors of this tragedy participate, which for many was a miracle because they did not expect there to be survivors. Those scenes were brutal, especially the one of one of the survivors who played his own father. I can't stop thinking about how difficult it must have been to have to relive all this. But it must also be something they will carry with them until their last day.
I have nothing but empathy and admiration for these people, who have to cross the Andes on foot with the only goal of surviving, having spent two months in unfavorable situations, poorly nourished, with no strength other than that which drove them forward. They all did a great job as a team, but Nando and Roberto were the ones who achieved this great journey to rescue their companions. They gave us an important lesson in life and companionship. The truth is that it is a highly recommended film to watch to learn more about this event, but do so with caution if you are sensitive.

I have read many reviews regarding this movie, all with mixed opinions, from different points of view, it was good, it was bad, it lacked more, there are many expectations that were expected of them, well, now it's my turn to share my impressions.
Leaving the world behind, I think the title fits well, and to begin with, the story shows us how a family decides to go on vacation, away from the city, renting a house in the countryside, while the children enjoy the pool, and the parents enjoy a good wine.
Everything turns out to be perfect, apparently, but suddenly they are left without signal, completely incommunicado, without internet, TV, and not only that, two strangers appear at the door of the house, how to react to that? What can you think of such a situation?, are some of the questions that one asks oneself.

At the beginning everything is confusing, between each scene, with that touch of suspense, mystery, waiting for it to show a little more, to make sense of everything that is happening; with a confused family, trying to deal with two unknown people, who do not give a justifiable reason for their presence in the house.
The film featured great actors, among them the great Julia Roberts, playing Amanda, I was struck by the phrase with which she begins this film, where she says: I hate people, I don't know why, but somehow I felt identified, and is that sometimes it happens to me, having to deal with some people, being able to trust them, their way, of being, their attitude, and of course the things they do, I associate it with all that.
And nobody is perfect, we all have our things, including me, so, I say, it's time to breathe and let go, although it's hard to let go of certain things or attitudes; however, the point of this film is mainly about trust, depending on the unknown, in a paralyzed world, not knowing who to turn to, who you can really count on, and how we depend so much on technology, in order to survive.

Some people say that the movie left much to be desired, that they expected more from it, for me, what I didn't like was the ending, I felt that it lacked continuity; although I still understood the point of this story, almost at the end, when it was unraveling and answering some questions.
The chaos, the helplessness of not knowing what is happening, the silence, the inexplicable events, this is what this film encompasses; on the other hand, those scenes of slow focus, that keep you there, intrigued, but at the same time that make you despair a little, I guess that's what it was about, so that the end was that, a little inconclusive for me.
Leaving the world behind, you can't destroy it just like that, suddenly, overnight, or yes; this is one of the questions that you also ask yourself, and as you say, the human being will always look for a way to survive, and even if you don't know what is happening, you will still try to find an explanation, or at least take refuge, not pretend that nothing is happening, there are some who act and react, others are paralyzed.
I'm not saying it's one of the best movies, as I said, I felt it lacked more, that ending was good, better, I'll let you see it, and tell me what you think, because I still can't assimilate it hahaha.
For those who have not seen it yet, I still invite you to see it, as I mentioned, for some it may be good, for others not so much, it all depends on the point of view from which you see it... But without a doubt it had good performances, scenographies, and atmosphere...
Thanks for reading me so far, we continue to grow, until next time. 🚀

The cast, well the cast of Land of Bad is made up of some good actors like as Liam Hemsworth from the Hunger Games movie and Independence Day, he is currently within the top 250 on IMDB but most important Russell Crowe who we have previously seen in great action movies like Gladiator and Justice League although I was not so happy with his last work The Popes Exorcist it was more of a comedy to me but still entertaining, for the most part he will be fighting from his desk where he controls a drone that will assist the crew and try to bring them back home.

Hemsworth play on the role of Kinney, a JTAC officer who is ambushed in enemy territory, , for his part Russell Crowe is Reaper, the experienced drone pilot who faces a mission that has gone wrong and must save the day, there is also Milo Ventimiglia, known for his work in This Is Us but I remember him the most from back in the day Heroes, Luke Hemsworth, brother of actors Chris and Liam Hemsworth, recognized for his role in the HBO science fiction series Westworld, has also participated in most of the Thor movies as a double of his brother, this time taking

SourceWilliam Eubank, who directs this movie, is recognized for his skill in the science fiction and thriller genres. He began with the movie Love (2011), showing the struggle of an astronaut in orbit, and then directed The Signal (2014). , exploring the mysteries intertwined with three college students and a cryptic hacker, his recent work, Underwater (2020), so his work so far has not been astonishing to the point that from the trailer we can guarantee this is going to be a hit although it has all the characteristics to be a good movie from the entertaining point, lots of shooting, lots of explosion, a cast that is familiar to action movies, lots of hiding on the jungle to survive on top that this is almost a two hour movie, 1h 50m by IMDB information. With Land of Bad, Eubank in my opinion is doing a radical change compare to his previous work since in the past it has been Sci-Fi for the most part and this time will be an explosion every 15 minutes most likely.

The trailer of Land of Bad will get your eyes peal for all the explosion and what Kinney has to go through to survive, there are scenes that shown he has been capture after the mission goes wrong and then running through the jungle as he escapes while a recovery team probably looking for him, there are also the visual effects and the aerial combat of the drone that "Reaper" operates, I have a problem with that name sounds just too fake but that's the kind of name a killer drone operator would have; it is based on real events a weak point as always when it comes to how accurate it is going to be, still sounds like an ambitious project with an estimated cost of more than 250 million dollars and faces some tough competition on the same field of action movies for 2024 with the release of others like Rebel Moon Part 1 & 2 and Dune Part 2, 2024 is not going to be an easy year for awards coming next year with all the amount of content that is going to flood your screen all this movies competing for attention and recognition at the ticket office, besides people will compare it to other Delta Mission movies related as I did from the moment I saw the trailer, other great hits like Lone Survivor, American Sniper and Zero Dark Thirty.

I really hope this movies does well, it will all come down the actors and script since we know the action scenes are there, I also notice some sick POV takes from the drown, promises to be an exciting adventure that honors the brave JTACs who risk their lives every day to guarantee the security of the United States, this is a job that comes with a lot of risk, remember that long INTENTIONAL fall from the mountain on Lone Survivor? I have always thought of the training this guys go through. Land of Bad also got some talented cast and the viewers will be demanding from them as for some this is a great opportunity to shine in 2024, I'm not sure if it will be a box office success but at least I'm looking for a high 7 performance from 1/10 but I do hope it turns out to have unforgettable story like many other movies of the same genre that I'm a fan of, this is coming down February 16 so not too far from now.

It is necessary to return to the past. Knowing that the past is what changes the most.

The story of the plane crash of the Uruguayan flight to Chile has already been brought to the big screen in the past. I still remember the film Viven, which also received good reviews, but I think the film directed by the Spaniard J.A. Bayona is several steps above. Why?
Bayona makes his best film so far. An impressive display in the technical section. The crash sequence is short but shocking. It makes us feel inside that plane and live with the characters the horror of seeing the face of death. How would you react in that situation? Would you calmly accept the cruel fate, would you cry, would you panic? No one knows how I would react, each of us is different, but we would all do something. Try to survive, because it is part of our nature, the survival instinct is innate.
Bayona knows how to tell stories. He is an excellent storyteller, who knows how to keep the pace, who does not falter despite the long duration. The merit is not only Bayona's. He surrounds himself with a solid team. He surrounds himself with a solid team. He surrounds himself with a solid team that knows how to make films that last in our memory. The cinematography is dazzling. The landscapes are beautiful and at the same time overwhelming.
So much beauty and at the same time so much death in the same place. Add to this a sensitive musical composition that will take us back to the stormy almost two and a half months in which the survivors suffered an unimaginable ordeal and that, evidently, will bring tears to our eyes.
Bayona sabe contar historias.

What happens when you're hungry and you're dying. It is one of the many other lapidary phrases the narrator character says at the beginning of the film. It is no secret to anyone what he has had to do to live. One of the most abominable things but that anyone, pushed by the cruel vaibenes of destiny, is capable of doing. The decision, the consensus, the denial, each one will carry his process. Regardless of their religious belief, it is something that as a species causes us revulsion. But hunger, in an uninhabitable territory, without any vital resource and the instinct of survival will force you to go beyond your own moral limits.
Why is that? I recently commented that many say that everything happens for a greater cause. What was the greater supernatural cause? Those who did not survive, those who stayed in the mountains, many young people, what is the end of this supernatural force that has everything planned? A nightmare that is not wished to anyone. A tragedy that furiously reminds us how fragile we are. That is why we should not ask for time by getting drunk on ego. In the end we are nothing more than particles in an immense universe and we have no supernatural powers to fight against the mighty nature.
Much respect from the filmmaker. No morbidity. The intention is to tell as faithfully as possible everything that happened. The scene of the accident is explicit, but it was necessary to show it, to make an impact. Now, as far as the corpses and what they did with them, the camera doesn't scrutinize the grotesque. The respect for those who couldn't get out of there is evident. Nor does it seek heroism as a spectacle, something that marks a distance from the Hollywood version.

A previous research work. Bayona has said in several interviews that the book that inspired him, La sociedad de los nueve, written by Pablo Vierci, came into his hands when he was preparing the film The Impossible. He has even stated that he took the title of the film from a phrase in the book. Therefore, it is a project that spent a long time in preparation. It differs a lot from the book in terms of structure and narration. In addition, Bayona wanted to interview several of the survivors to make an adaptation as close as possible to the real events.
The use of real names and Uruguayan and Argentinean actors has given the story added credibility. A phenomenal cast. Many of them young, little known, but professionally dedicated to the project. Some physical resemblances are very strong. The level of commitment was wonderful, it shows on the screen, their interpretations. Some of them lost 20 kilos, of course all under strict medical control. So their physical transformation is real and not just a product of makeup.
As I watched the film I kept thinking about how difficult the shooting was. Sierra Nevada was the place chosen to shoot the film. A titanic job that every day made it more complicated. Logistics, transportation, security and weather conditions, many external factors that surely made the shooting take longer than stipulated. It's great that films continue to be made in this way. They could have opted for the quick and easy way, green screen for everything, but it would never be the same. Fortunately Bayona is a filmmaker who seeks to thrill us in the seat and that is achieved not only by telling a good story, you have to strive for perfection.
The Snow Society is one of the best films of the year. A gem on Netflix. Deserving of all the accolades received. As I write this , I am watching the golden globes award show and he didn't win it, the Golden Globe went to Anatomy of a Fall. I hope it will be nominated for an Oscar and I am sure it will be the big winner at the Goya's. The film has even pleased even the dreaded Carlos Boyero.
An extremely emotional film that made me shed a tear. A story of survival, of friendship, of hope, of overcoming, of faith.

I watched a movie by accident today. And I loved it! The movie's name is BIG NOTHING
Not a recent one, it was released in 2006.
Director : Jean-Baptiste Andrea Actors: David Schwimmer (Yes, the one from Friends), Simon Pegg, Alice Eve
It has a decent 6.7 and its duration is 1 and a half hour. Ideal for a short break from whatever you do.
But I warn you in advance. You will be surprised, so get ready to glare your eyes with wonder.
Why I chose to see it? I saw that David Schwimmer was playing, so I thought it would be entertaining to watch it. I did not bother to read the story, see the trailer, or read more about it before hand.
It turns out my choice was right. I laughed, I smiled, I wondered, I questioned myself.
I will try not to spoil it for you, but the best part of this post is that...
You can watch the movie free here!
But keep reading for some extra info:
The movies taglines are:
Movie Genre: Crime, Comedy, Thriller. Perhaps not with this turn.
And the story goes:
Charlie (David Schwimmer) is an ex-professor who has written a book and cant get it published (ouch) His wife is a police officer and they have a sweet little daughter. He decides to get a lousy job at a call-center and this is where the true story starts.
Who does he meet? Does he manage to keep the job? Will he manage to get his book published?
To give away some more info, a team of 2 (who become 3) decide to blackmail someone .... and there the plot twists begin...
And there is even more as you go on!
Personally, I would rather that you did not read the whole story in advance. I think it is better to discover it as you see the movie.
If you enjoy some spoilers, check it out here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0488085/?ref_=tt_mv_close
Remember, you can watch the movie for free in YouTube
So, grab a beer, relax .. and then please remember to come back and let me know if you liked it or not :)
Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for stopping by!

SourceThe trailer doesn't show us much either, the movie was written by Colby Day and directed by Johan Renck who has been in charge of the series Chernobyl, Breaking Bad and the first season of The Walking Dead. Johan Renck has been recognized for his skill in science fiction and thrillers and his ability to create a tense and terrifying atmosphere, so this film should bring some adventure, drama and that spark of suspense.
SourceThe protagonist of Spaceman is Adam Sandler playing Jakub Procházka. I don't remember a Sandler movie that isn't funny. in fact, he is one of the most popular comedians in Hollywood but many have been waiting more serious roles from him, one of his most recent as Howard Ratner, a degenerate gambler; in the movie "Uncut Gems" where many of his fans like this side of Sandler's work, many videos that talk about this movie have mention that this could the one, this could Adam Sandlers best movie ever and will be difficult to forget but who knows, on the other hand we have Paul Dano, from "The Batman" where he played the role of "The Riddler"; gives life to the voice of the alien spider that Jakub finds on his ship and Carey Mulligan plays Lenka Procházka, Jakub's wife. I remember seen her in “The Great Gatsby”, another great actor and a favorite for me is Kunal Nayyar recognized for his role as Rajesh in “The Big Bang Theory” , one of my personal favorite comedies every; he plays Peter, a technician who is part of Jakub's mission.
Source“Spaceman” is the story of astronaut Jakub Procházka, the first Check Replubic astronaut who is sent on a mission to the edge of the galaxy near Venus to get a special dust, who in the middle of his trip encounters a creature, an extraterrestrial spider that we will discover if it is real or if it is a product of the astronaut's imagination, its hard to say by now as ONLY IF I HAD READ THE NOVEL!! I would know but I think that Jakub could be just facing a mental blockage because of his long trip causing him to see this alien, he goes to space for months and leaves his wife on earth, I think at some point this movie will give me "Interstellar" vibes when Cooper travels across time and dimensions after he fall into Gargantua because how did this spider shows up all of the sudden?, well for normie viewers like me there is not much information about yet other than a 35 second teaser trailer of the movie.
We have seen how in other movies about space, astronauts go through this process of knowing themself because they are all alone for many months, this spider could very well be a product of his imagination, from the novel insights I found online the alien and Jakub became best friends so its very possible that he starts to discuss and solve his problems and life dilemmas, specially leaving his wife behind who doesn't seem agree that he took this mission.
This very well for some could be a boring movie because I can imagine that lots of the scenes will be just Jakub inside the space ship talking to Hanus his alien friend, I found an audio book of the Novel that I will leave the link below, was thinking to upload to 3Speak but I'm not sure about the copyrights of this video.

To get more conclusions and expectations of this movie I would like to get a real trailer and I think we will get that soon, March is less than two months from now, not use to make articles on so little data like a teaser but it intrigue me when Hanus says "same as you I left my planet....through galaxies, through black holes..." so I couldn't resist learning a bit more about the movie, its been some time since "Interstellar" a movie very related to black holes, a mystery that intrigues me a lot because of all the possibilities.

There are countless K-dramas that set their story in an office. Whether it’s office romance or rivalry; workplace has its own appeal. But not all of them are worth checking out, even more so when it’s over the top workplace romance and unrealistic. I am personally a fan of realism, something that illustrates almost a realistic life in the day of a character that mimics our real life. I found this realism from Misaeng: Incomplete life that was released back in 2014 and directed by Kim Won-seok, who is known to also cast the same actor & actresses that he previously worked with[1]. In this drama,he casts Park Hae Joon, though he’s playing a minor role in this workplace, he’s been working with Won-Seok three times. And the main spotlight of this drama is Im Si-Wan, playing a 26-something without a ‘real’ job experience and skill.

Im Si Wan takes up a role as Jang Geu-rae, a mid twenty somethings starting his life all over again. In his previous life, he was an aspiring GO professional who failed to play as a pro player. He ended up working as a gig worker and did everything he could to survive. Somehow, Geu-rae landed an opportunity to be an intern at a top trading company called One International. In this company, he faces difficulty as a salaryman especially with his background that is far less than his co-workers.

The resolution to many of his conflicts are through his boss, Oh Sang-shik (Lee Sung-min) a manager who is ambitious, workaholic yet cares of the well-being of his co-workers. In the office, Geu-rae is also close to three other interns and later become permanent employees, Ahn Young-yi (Kang So-ra), Jang Baek-gi (Kang Ha-neul ) , Han Seok-yool (Byun Yo-han ). They all from a camaraderie and through them, we are shown the struggle of becoming a ‘newbie’ at a company as well as dealing with the office politics.

One of the most intriguing parts of this film is also the setting that takes place in Jordan. It is also said to be the first K-drama that was filmed in this historical country [2]. A few of the scenes showed the ancient city of Petra and ended with a scene in front of Al-Khazneh. As impressive as the settings were, this drama and its actors also won many awards including the 51st Baeksang Awards where the director won as the best TV director.

A scene at Wadi Rum, Jordan
Although, to be honest with you all, there were parts that were slow. Unlike the usual where I finish a k-drama in a day, it took me several days to watch its episodes. This drama is filled with workplace anecdotes, politics as well as Go (baduk) game references that might be far too boring at times. But somehow, I was hooked with the character humdrum office life. The main character feels quite relatable, a mid twenty something attempting to start life all over again and incorporated into the workplace. In the end, staying true to his quirks and though he has no formal experience, he becomes the most interesting salaryman at his company.
Beyond their small cubicle, each of the characters face their own struggle and eventually resolve it. It was the same with the manager who eventually recognizes his talent and that he simply needs to start his own business. Just from an outsider perspective, the work culture in South Korea is seemingly tough.Among many of the struggle includes working overtime, verbal abuse and even physical abuses that are shrugged under the rug. Being female in the male-dominated office was also an issue that was present in the film. There were subtly shown the differences between different generations in handling women at the workplace. Perhaps it's why this drama even from the trailer mentioned to be provoking within south korean society.
While I am no salaryman/woman, this film helps me look into life from the mini cubicle. I often wonder why people want to escape it and from this film, I can see why the dream of being free of 9-5 can be so appealing. To these people, some of them might not really have a life beyond their desk. To them, being in an office, receiving salary each month and incentives yearly are all they know. As unappealing workplace life k-drama might sound, I am recommending this one as it has an interesting plot and is quite realistic for a salaryman's life.
