Lo cierto es que hay padres quienes son más considerados, el mío no lo fue tanto conmigo pero normal, no pasaba nada y ahora que escribo esto, desde niño siempre tuve la manera de canalizar mis problemas y sé que muchos estudios actuales podrían decir todo lo contrario de mí y mi niñez. Lo curioso es que no me apagué por completo y le respondí con esta frase ¨Podrías enseñarme lo que sabes de ellos y del rock por favor¨ y el camino empezó a ser distinto pues la conversación que había en el carro se cambió y todos los presentes empezaron hablar del rock, su historia y su música.

The truth is that there are parents who are more considerate; mine wasn’t quite as considerate with me, but that’s normal it wasn’t a big deal. And now that I’m writing this, I realize that ever since I was a child, I’ve always found a way to deal with my problems, and I know that many current studies might say the exact opposite about me and my childhood. The funny thing is that I didn’t completely shut down; I replied with this line: “Could you teach me what you know about them and about rock, please?” And things started to take a different turn the conversation in the car shifted, and everyone there began talking about rock, its history, and its music.

En medio de todo eso sonó el nombre de The Beatles y mi papá sin dudarlo colocó una cinta que tenía en el carro y cuando empezó a sonar la magia simplemente ocurrió y aquella tensión inicial provocada por el rechazo inmediato de mi papá, se convirtió en una atmósfera vibrante y cálida. Tal como un buen momento de padre e hijo. Recuerdo escuchar aquellas anécdotas que contaban los amigos de mi padre y él mismo. Recuerdo cuando todos empezaron a corear, a mover la cabeza al ritmo de la música con una pasión desbordante que ni había visto en mi papá. La energía en ese carro cambió por completo pues ya no éramos solo un grupo de personas viajando de noche, éramos una comunidad unida por un descubrimiento que a mí me estaba cambiando la vida así que todos formaron parte de ese sentimiento que me nació de chamo.

In the midst of all that, the name “The Beatles” came up, and without hesitation, my dad put on a cassette he had in the car. As soon as the music started playing, magic simply happened, and that initial tension caused by my dad’s immediate rejection turned into a vibrant, warm atmosphere just like a great father-son moment. I remember listening to those stories that my dad’s friends and he himself would tell. I remember when everyone started singing along, nodding their heads to the beat of the music with an overflowing passion I’d never seen in my dad before. The energy in that car changed completely we were no longer just a group of people traveling at night; we were a community united by a discovery that was changing my life, so everyone became part of that feeling that was born in me from a young age.

Escuchar a los cuatro de Liverpool por primera vez y rodeado de esa complicidad colectiva me hizo sentir muy bien y ese malestar definitivamente había pasado. Estaba viviendo una nueva experiencia distinta al ver expresado ese sentimiento de querer formar una banda de rock. Desde ese momento tan bonito e inexplicable, mi espíritu de niño finalmente estaba encontrando un gusto musical. Y les mentiría si no les digo que las melodías de Lennon y McCartney no solo encendieron de vuelta la fogata que mi papá había intentado apagar, sino que la convirtieron en un incendio total de creatividad y desde ese momento cantar había nacido en mí y gracias a ese pequeño desacuerdo de mi papá y ver la emoción de los adultos contagiándome su amor por los clásicos me hizo comprender que el rock no era solo ruido o rebeldía, sino un lenguaje universal capaz de transformar un viaje ordinario en un momento eterno. Ese viaje en carro no solo fue mi introducción a The Beatles, sino el verdadero punto de partida de mi propio viaje musical.

Listening to the Fab Four from Liverpool for the first time, surrounded by that sense of shared camaraderie, made me feel great, and that uneasiness was definitely gone. I was having a new and different experience, seeing that desire to form a rock band come to life. From that beautiful, inexplicable moment on, my childlike spirit was finally discovering a love of music. And I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you that Lennon and McCartney’s melodies didn’t just reignite the campfire my dad had tried to put out but turned it into a raging fire of creativity. From that moment on, the urge to sing was born within me, and thanks to that little disagreement with my dad and seeing the adults’ excitement as they passed on their love for the classics to me I came to understand that rock wasn’t just noise or rebellion, but a universal language capable of transforming an ordinary trip into an eternal moment. That car ride wasn’t just my introduction to The Beatles it was the true starting point of my own musical journey.

The Beatles fue una banda que desde ese momento solía escuchar mucho y de hecho, fue solo la primera de muchas bandas que mi papá luego empezó a presentarme. Después de todo, empezó apoyarme a su manera la cual es entendible pues después que crecemos vemos que son simplemente patrones que seguían nuestros padres debido a su crianza. Patrones que algunos han intentado romper y seguir otros métodos de crianza.

The Beatles were a band I listened to a lot from that point on, and in fact, they were just the first of many bands my dad later introduced me to. After all, he started supporting me in his own way which is understandable, since once we grow up, we realize these are simply patterns our parents followed because of how they were raised. Patterns that some have tried to break and replace with other parenting methods.

Esta banda no solo fue eso, sino un fenómeno que transformó la música popular para siempre. Luego de tanos años escuchándola y así cada una de sus producciones se puede notar su evolución musical, lo cual es fascinante cuando logras comprender todos los trabajos musicales de la banda. Pasaron de ser una banda de rock and roll sencillo y alegre a explorar psicodelia, música india, sinfonismo y experimentación de estudio en álbumes como Revolver de (1966) y Sgt. Pepper's de (1967). En apenas siete años de grabación su sonido cambió más que el de muchas bandas en décadas. Quiero compartir algunos de las canciones que sin duda podría catalogar de favoritas y las que sin duda marcaron un antes y después de los The Beatles:

Well there are things that just dont change, and that is Silo turning a bit draggy while all the mistery is brewing up and unfolding, there is still a lot to uncover and remember and so does "A Dark Web" because it turns to be good at when the investigation actually has consequences, when the grind is happening the cop work, but the episode takes too long getting there. Juliette getting sharper after secretly stopping the pills is a good change, she finally feels active again instead of waiting for people to tell her who she used to be and Rebecca Ferguson sells that shift without needing a speech about it, there are constant actions like her taking the gloves from that worker and going straight down using that rope, she just jumps into the void. She starts reading people again, notices when Kathleen Billings is hiding something and refuses to accept Lukas Kyle is dead just because everyone else already gave up on him, honestly I thought he was. I like that her instincts come back before her memories do, it shows Camille has not managed to erase everything that made her dangerous to IT and the algo. The problem is the search drags through too many conversations saying the same thing, Shirley avoids her, Knox has nothing solid and the people at the mines only confirm Lukas had good reason to hide there, the mines is a floor I would love them to explore more, mainly for context of the what the Silo is. The best part of these scenes is Juliette turning the blame back around, Shirley is hurt Juliette does not remember their friendship, while Sims carries a colder version of the same complaint since his son still remembers being scared of her, even though she cannot recall any of it, she has lost almost everyone and cannot even understand why their faces are supposed to matter, that hits hard specially when she cant remember what is to have a father.

Camille is the most interesting person in the episode because every choice she makes can be explained, but that does not make any of it okay. She does not want to put the memory drug in the water because she knows what it would take from close to ten thousand people, and Robert seeing that Juliette cannot remember her own father makes the danger personal for him. Camille and Sims are risking a lot here, not only been affected by this drug but their son is the priority and Camille is starting to see it as collateral damage because she clearly told Sims to make sure their son makes it alive of that Silo no matter what, this also includes all the memories he might have of them together as a family. I obvious whey she keeps looking for a way out even when that means killing others, especially when the algorithm keeps presenting the drug as the safe option without caring whether the people left behind still know who they are. At the same time she keeps treating every delay like permission to gamble with somebody else, she lets Juliette go search for Lukas because it might confirm he is dead and expose Patrick Kennedy, and that is not a careful plan, it is Camille avoiding one terrible decision by pushing the risk onto Juliette instead, its almost like she gambling and letting Juliette reckless somehow save the Silo and avoid using the Vitamin D+. She admits protecting Anthony is the whole point of what she and Robert want, yet she is also willing to destroy other families the moment their lives get in the way. The more pressure she is under, the easier it gets for her to call cruelty necessary and that bothers me because she is starting to put dutty over her own family while the algorithm just throws more gasoline into the fire by adding to those thoughts.

I think one of the aspects that is hurting the season the most is this present and past situation going on, both have very good moments but the transition is very drastic to the point that the series cuts you off from one to the other, in some cases during very interesting moments. In the present we got Daniel and Helen who have the right kind of danger around them, the goverment is on their tails, but their part of the episode feels weaker because it keeps the useful information out of reach. Daniel learns the pilots used communication equipment that could be recorded and Helen thinks she can track that recording down through one of her dark web contacts, her getting fired right after she starts asking questions gives the investigation a sense that someone got their eyes on them, especially with that same mysterious man showing up near people connected to Charlotte and the mission. The missing contact and the wrecked room point toward somebody working to bury that recording, though the episode never says who or why. The problem is the episodes doesnt let use listent to the recording that scares them so badly, shocked faces only carry so much when the recording itself is missing in action been the sauce that would give more context of the situation with the pilots at Iran. We know twenty seconds of it exist and that it changes how Daniel sees the situation, then the evidence disappears before it tells us anything clear. The chess move after the contact gets warned about being tracked feels like it should matter and provide us more context but it never arrives, we never learn what it means and this creates a big disatisfaction for me. Daniel deciding to go back for the tape shows the investigation has become more than a family matter to him now but I wish the episode just stop hidding this info and start to data dump what really went down and why, there are ways to do this properly without telling the entire story but they just keep hiding everything.

I mention above how cool would be if we get more context about the mines, a place everyone describes as hell but once they start showing it its not like they describe, at least now what they show on this episode. Camille ordering the fumigation is the moment that changes how I see her, she turns into the monster that the series is expecting. She believes Lukas might be digging toward another Silo and the algorithm warns that contact between silos could set off the safeguard, that explains her panic, but it does not excuse pumping gas into occupied tunnels without giving anyone enough time to get out. She knows miners can die and gives the order anyway because stopping Lukas matters more to her than anything as he is an important link in the chain of Juliette getting back her memories. The episode also pull this foolish and reckless moves without much ground as when Knox and Juliette jump right into the mines full of gas, that choice comes with a real consequence instead of another easy win, but still too convinient as when Juliette grabs a mask, tries to help a man, loses the mask when he takes it off her and collapses before she can get out. Her instinct to help somebody does not protect her from the damage around her, I wonder if this toxic gas is going to have some sort on effect on her phisically or even if that somehow kicks in some old memories. Lukas finding her and carrying her out gives the search a satisfying moment setting him up as the hero of th emoment, even if it is a little convenient and it matters because Juliette was right when everyone else had already given up on him. Finding Orla Kent in the mines also gives Billings an actual case instead of just a disappearance sitting in the background. Camille gets what she wanted because Lukas gets forced out into the open, Juliette gets proof he is alive and Billings gets a body that could expose another secret, none of that feels like clean answers, its just the tip of the iceberg and there is more cop work to be done and grind to uncover the truth which is why this episode works better than the earlier search did.

The ending is what makes the episode stronger because it turns Camille from someone stalling an awful choice into someone actually ready to make one, Lukas and Juliette plus her memories is a very dangerous setup she doesnt want to deal with, anything is better than getting the Silo wipe out during a "safeguard protocol". Juliette is unconscious in the hospital after the fumigation and the algorithm tells Camille her death could be spun into a story about sacrifice and unity, which would get rid of Juliette as a threat while letting everyone else skip the memory drug entirely. I can see why Camille wants that option to be real, she would only have to sacrifice one person, Anthony would still remember his parents and the Silo could be told Juliette died a hero saving people in the mines. The problem is that only works if Camille is willing to murder a helpless woman and lie about it afterward, I mean many have done it, her husband is a specialist on this matter and should as him. The algorithm praises exactly what made her useful, her skill at deceiving Robert and playing both sides during the rebellion, and even though that is manipulation, she still responds to it. Her admitting she once admired Juliette makes it worse, she used to respect that Juliette searches for the truth and now she treats that same instinct as dangerous enough to justify killing her, you live long enough to see your hero turn the villain. I do not think the show kills Juliette here because the entire series turns around here but the cliffhanger works because the real question is what Camille tries next and how far Robert lets her go. This episode drags in a few spots and the Daniel and Helen side of the story needs to give us more than missing evidence and scared faces. Even after all this small problems, the episode ends in a much better place than it started, Lukas is alive, Juliette is paying for her reckless search, Billings has a new mystery and Camille has crossed a line that is hard to explain away. I give this episode a strong 7.5/10, I know it might be boring for others but I do like the investigation work and the risks taken here, even when some are just too dumb.

Hello everyone, today I would like to discuss about Obsession which I have been rooting for a long time. Before I go any further, I should warn you that this review contains major spoilers, so stop reading now if you haven't watched the movie yet. I personally think it's one of the best I have recently watched. I am so excited to share about it. Although, I have a busy schedule still I managed to have some time for this movie. I wanted to share my review about it because I have seen many people having misconception about it. I think most of them had only seen the trailer and from reels and they decided to judge it.

I don't think anyone who has watched the movie thoroughly would call it cringe or anything like that. I would ask them to re-watch it because they probably couldn't understand the theme of the movie. So, let me clear it for you guys. I hope after reading my point of view then you can understand it more better.

So, let's talk about the characters, there's a guy who's name is Bear he is pretty introvert you can say that. Like I have seen he is awkward, he is not so confident and doesn't know how to express himself. On the other hand we have Nikki who is nonchalant, she's like a free bird. She is a great friend of bear and as the story progress you can see that how Nikki is so comfortable around Bear. Ian is their common friend and to be honest, I found him as one of the most irritating person in the whole story. There's another important character which is Sarah, I think she was good from her side.

In the beginning of the story Bear shared to Ian how he felt about Nikki. The expressions on Ian's face seemed like he didn't want that to happen. Which was pretty suspicious and I had my eyes on him. I think Bear had fallen for Nikki because she was kind to Bear. He was so awkward type of person so I think he was not able to make any good friends. For the first time someone had treated him so nicely that's what made him think that he has a crush on her. I had noticed one thing at his home every furniture looked from old times and it was a bit weird because he was a young man yet he never decorated the house, maybe he was into old stuff. I don't know but his cat dying like that made me think that he was super careless. As a cat lover I disliked this part of the movie. From the very first scene, the movie gave me an unsettling feeling.

tmdb Furthermore, Bear had bought the One Wish Willow on the day of their trivia night with friends. Because nikki had lost her crystal necklace earlier so Bear wanted to give her something as a gift. He couldn't find any necklace so he bought the One Wish Willow instead. Which was supposed to be her gift. So what was this One Wish Willow exactly? The seller had explained to bear about it. That it will make your one wish come true and many people left complaints about it some of them said it worked and some of them said it doesn't work at all. Yet, Bear decided to buy it.

So, on trivia night Bear finally tries to confess his feelings but Ian keeps getting in the way every time he gets the chance. Which made it obvious that Ian had some sort of things for Nikki and that is why he did not want Bear to confess his feelings. I was already annoyed because if he Ian feelings for Nikki then he could tell his friend right? But what did he do? Trying to make things worse between Bear and Nikki. Anyway, I remember Ian had told Bear to call her "Creepy Nikki" which she always disliked. So it's obvious that he wanted Bear to make Nikki angry. Later when Bear gave Nikki a ride to her house, before leaving Nikki asked if he wanted to confess something but Bear couldn't say it. Also in the end with no brain cells he decided to call her "creepy Nikki". It felt like I never had seen a stupid guy like him lol.

Our Bear decided to break One Wish Willow instead of confessing his feelings to Nikki. He wished that Nikki would love him more than anyone else in the world. After that while he was still in the car Nikki suddenly came back which was creepy. Because I wasn't expecting that thing was supposed to work. From what I have seen in the trailer I thought Nikki was a possessive girlfriend who was not in her right mind. But when I watched it I could realize that she wasn't like that from the beginning. It was bear who wished for it and it became the reality. Nikki began to date Bear and he had no self doubts. There was some events where Nikki was shocked to see herself with Bear. But suddenly she switched her personality. Bear ignored all of it because he was loving the attention Nikki gave. He was yearning for this kind of relationship.

From what I have seen I could tell that Nikki had no control over her body anymore, she was locked in somewhere which was not clearly shown in the movie. But it was said that she had been locked away and someone else is doing all of the things. Bear started to feel suffocated the moment he realized that he wouldn't be able to hang out with his friends and have fun without Nikki. Because that began to disrupt Nikki's behaviour. One of the creepiest scene was when Bear was asleep and Nikki was standing in a corner. That truly scared me to see her like that. Even after all of these weird behaviour, Bear did not try to find a solution or do anything about it.

Bear was fine as long as Nikki was there with him, he didn't care if Nikki was getting weirder day by day. It was seen that Sarah had some sort of feelings for Bear. Not only that Ian and Sarah both found their relationship was wrong. And when she told him that Nikki always had seen him as a brother even that didn't stop him. Bear pretended everything was fine between him and Nikki and which wasn't entirely the truth. I would say he is one of the most selfish and coward person I have ever seen. He did realize at some point that it wasn't going the right way, he decided to contact the One Wish Willow but he didn't ask to break the wish instead he asked that if he could renew it lol. Like seriously! He still wanted Nikki to be in love with him even if it's not her real self.

To be honest, this movie felt like a clear rage bait, every second he was on screen, I wanted to slap Bear and make him come to his senses. I don't think anyone who loves someone would want to see them suffer. While the obsessive version of herself was asleep she pleaded with him to kill her. You know what bear said? "What's so bad about being with me?" Like wtf dude, are you on some drugs? He was so self obsessed he didn't care about what Nikki was going through. There was one scene where I could tell Bear had some feelings for Sarah as well. It proved that he never loved Nikki, he loved the way she treated him. Also, even he got everything from Nikki he was still interested in Sarah. Even after finding out that Ian and Nikki had been having an affair, he still didn't consider ending the relationship.

When Nikki started to murder his friends then he decided to do something about it. He could do only two things one was to make a new wish but one wish per person, another was to kill himself which would free Nikki. But he couldn't make someone else make wishes for him so he decided to make Nikki make that wish. But it wasn't that easy, so he decided to end his life in the bathroom. He swallowed the very pills that had caused his cat's death. And guess what he had changed his mind in the end! Bud didn't have the courage to do that as well! I was extremely pissed, I thought in the end he had at least thought of giving freedom to Nikki but NO! He didn't, but guess what? He got exactly what he deserved. As he desperately tried to vomit up the pills, Nikki had that One Wish Willow and made her own wish—that he would love her just as obsessively as she loved him. That's why he suddenly stops trying to throw up the pills he walks out of the bathroom and shares one final kiss with Nikki.

Nikki was about to end her life but she came to her senses the moment Bear died. Her life was not any better even if she stayed alive. Because she already had murdered two people. I think there's no chances for her survival because police would catch her soon. So, would you still say this movie is about a girl who was obsessed? It's more about an irresponsible, self obsessed guy who only cared about his comfort and he destroyed the lives of the people around him. Nikki was never to blame as she didn't have control over her own body and willingness. I feel the biggest villain for this movie is Bear. So, I hope no one would blame Nikki after knowing the actual facts.

Even though it was a small budget film, I think they had hired great actors and actresses who had done their best. I think it wouldn't be this good if it wasn't the casts. My personal favourite would be (Inde Navarrette)Nikki because of how she changes her behaviour so quick, according to the characters need. So, yeah I loved the movie and I hope people would love it as well and not think of it negatively. I wouldn't call it a typical horror movie, but it definitely delivers psychological horror.

Hello friends, and welcome to my blog. Today, I’m sharing a review of the movie Saturday Night Fever. It premiered 49 years ago, and for me, it is one of the best musical films out there. I first watched it thanks to my dad, and I’ve seen it a couple of times since; I absolutely love the 70s style, and over the years, it has become a global icon.

Todo comienza cuando Tony Manero un joven de 19 años camina por las calles de Brooklyn, Nueva York con su traje de color negro y camisa roja, al estilo de Stayin Alive de los Bee Gees, trabaja en una tienda de pinturas pero no es bien remunerado, por lo que en su hogar abundan los problemas, además que su familia es muy conservadora.

It all begins when Tony Manero, a 19-year-old, walks the streets of Brooklyn, New York, wearing a black suit and a red shirt—reminiscent of the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive" style. He works at a paint store but is poorly paid, leading to abundant problems at home, compounded by the fact that his family is very conservative.

Se mantiene en un ambiente opresivo donde su padre tiene una actitud machista, mientras que su madre se inclina más hacia su hermano Frank siendo miembro de la iglesia católica, poco después abandona la misma generando un gran impacto en su madre, sus padres reprochan a Tony por su estilo de vida.

He remains in an oppressive environment where his father displays a chauvinistic attitude, while his mother favors his brother, Frank; although he was once a member of the Catholic Church, he subsequently leaves it—a move that deeply affects his mother—and his parents reproach Tony for his lifestyle.

Tony es un joven que se preocupa principalmente por su apariencia, es arrogante y cuida mucho de su imágen ya que los fin de semana se convierte en la estrella principal de la disco, junto a sus amigos llevan una vida carencias en cuanto a educación, existen los prejuicios donde la mujer es vista como un objeto sexual además de la discriminación hacia algunos grupos de personas. Esta sería la parte negativa, la película demuestra aquellas situaciones que pudieron ocurrir en aquella época.

Tony is a young man primarily concerned with his appearance; he is arrogant and highly conscious of his image, as he becomes the star of the local disco on weekends. He and his friends lead lives marked by a lack of education, harboring prejudices that view women as sexual objects and engaging in discrimination against certain groups of people. This represents the negative side of the story; the film portrays situations that were typical of that era.

En la película destacan canciones de los Bee Gees como: Stayin' Alive, Night Fever, How Deep Is Your Love, You Should Be Dancing. Siendo así los clásicos más escuchados en la época, Tony destaca como el mejor bailarín en dónde los sábados brilla en la pista, conoció a Stephanie, una joven bailarina del cual se enamora pero ella lo rechaza por sus actitudes poco maduras, además se preparan para una competencia de baile en dónde resultan ganadores.

The film features standout songs by the Bee Gees, such as "Stayin' Alive," "Night Fever," "How Deep Is Your Love," and "You Should Be Dancing." As these tracks became the era's most popular hits, Tony shines as the best dancer on the floor every Saturday; he meets Stephanie, a young dancer with whom he falls in love, though she initially rejects him due to his immaturity—yet they ultimately team up and win a dance competition.

A pesar de que ganan el concurso va más allá de ser buenos bailarines, el premio fué concedido principalmente por su popularidad y por ser de piel blanca, al final de la película su compañera Stephanie le da una gran lección a Tony, en dónde comprende que sus actitudes no lo llevarán a ningún lado ni siquiera a buen futuro, por lo que entiende que creer ser superior a los demás no está bien.

Although winning the contest required more than just being good dancers, the prize was awarded primarily due to their popularity and the fact that they were white; at the end of the film, his partner Stephanie teaches Tony a valuable lesson, helping him realize that his attitudes will get him nowhere—let alone lead to a bright future—and that believing himself superior to others is wrong.

I don't really like the actions because I expected more actions than I saw in it, but it was an interesting movie. The name of the movie is 13 ROUNDS. ‎ ‎A movie with Detective Danny Fisher played by John Cena. (The main character) ‎Miles Jackson played by Aadan Gillen.
