Nobody wants to be alone in this world as we all need some kind of support system to help navigate through life and family happens to be the Pinnacle of it all. It could either be people related to you by blood or those you bond with through life's journey, that feeling of belonging that comes with it is unmatched and that is why people long for it.

This is the life long dream of Lewis, an incredible 12 year old scientist who has spent most of life waiting for a family to adopt him because he was dropped off at an orphanage as a baby. After a series of unfortunate encounters, he concludes that the only person who truly wants him must be his biological mother and decides to build a machine ( the memory scanner) that allows him tap into his earliest memories just so he could see her face and search for her.

He is able to complete his work just on time for the science fair and without testing if it works, rushes to present his work. The invention was sabotaged by a man dressed in black unbeknownst to him and this causes a chain of havoc at the science fair.

Disappointed by yet another failure, Lewis storms out of the event to cry on the roof but is approached by a boy named Wilbur who claims he is from the future.To prove his story, Wilbur takes Lewis to the future in his time machine and shows him all the wonders that awaits the world.

Lewis is fascinated and decides to never go back to the past which leads to a scuffle between the two boys that ends up crashing the time machine. Wilbur sneaks Lewis into his family garage to fix the machine as it belonged to his dad and did not want to get into trouble. Wilbur leaves the garage to get the necessary information that would not cause further complications. A few minutes after he is gone, Lewis is accidentally sucked out of the garage and he encounters every member of Wilbur's family (except his father). This forces Wilbur to introduce Lewis as an orphan who is just an exchange student from Canada.

While the large family were still having dinner, Lewis is attacked by a dinosaur controlled by the man in the black coat who Wilbur calls the bowler hat guy (the bowler hat guy also has a time machine as he stole one from the garage). With teamwork and perseverance, they are able to defeat the dinosaur prompting the family to seek Lewis's adoption. Wilbur exposes the truth of Lewis timeline which leads to the family retracting their adoption offer and asks him to go back to his time.

Angered by this, lewis teams up with the bowler hat guy who takes him to a room and asks him to show him how to turn on the memory scanner. Lewis complies with his request but wonders why he wants a machine that doesn't work. The man reveals himself to be Mick Yagoobian, his roommate at the orphanage who was never adopted because of Lewis science project never allowed him to get any sleep and thus he decided to take his revenge on him teaming up with a hat he names Doris which is also a creation from Lewis in the future.

Goob goes back to the past to sell Lewis invention as his own and causes a massive change in the future where mass produced hats control society. In the future Lewis rushes into the garage, fixes the time machine and runs back to the past at the exact moment Goob is about selling the invention. He stops the whole deal, takes him back to the future and shows him the damages Doris causes to the future if it had gotten its wish.

The future returns back to normal with Lewis realizing that Wilbur is his son and the Robinson family was his family as well.

Wilbur drops off Lewis back in the past to fix everything once more and prepare for the future that awaits him. He helps a young Mike Yagoobian win a baseball which leads to an adoption, presents his invention properly at the science fair and wins an award for an outstanding job.

In the end Lewis is adopted by Bud and Lucille Robinson, renames him Cornelius, gives him a huge building to continue with his inventions and he works hard to achieve the future he knows belongs to him when he works hard for it. The animation is a Disney classic that pushes people to work hard, never give up and take control of their future even when the world is against us. It also teaches that everybody deserves a second chance as most people are not bad individuals, they are just outcomes of bad decisions. I hope you all enjoy this childhood memory of mine titled Meet The Robinson, it will always be one of my top 10 greatest treasures. A true 10/10 in my books Thank you

By Season 5, however, the show began to align more closely with mainstream television conventions, a shift crystallised in Strangers and Other Partners, the season’s concluding episode. This instalment, while emblematic of the series’ earlier commitment to complexity, also reveals a programme increasingly constrained by network expectations, resulting in a narrative that feels both narratively compromised and emotionally unmoored.

Where are my anime lovers 🤗, If you watched it loved Your Name or Spirited Away, (I'm going to be doing a review on that soon in case of you haven't watched it) this movie is a blast! It will stick with you long after it ends.

I won’t lie, I was feeling a little numb that day. Life has been repetitive, work, school, life, etc🤦🏼. Grey skies outside, quiet evenings, too many thoughts. I wanted to watch something that could divert my mind away a little bit. Something that would feed my mind with something different.

I remembered how Your Name shattered me in the best way, so when I saw that “Suzume” was trending, and it was by the same director — I was eager to watch so I clicked play.

From the very first scene, I was hooked, excited and calm ☺️.

The colors were so vibrant — deep orange skies, lush green hills, crumbling abandoned buildings filled with forgotten memories. I could almost smell the rain, feel the wind on my skin as Suzume ran through fields and cities, chasing unseen forces.

Suzume is a modern action adventure road story (not like the Witches Road movie) where a 17-year-old girl named Suzume helps a mysterious young man close doors from the other side that are releasing disasters all over Japan.

One morning on her way to school, she meets a mysterious young man named Souta, who is searching for strange, magical doors hidden across Japan — doors that lead to a mysterious, chaotic world filled with destruction. I was on my toes when Suzume met this man, I wished Suzume knew his plan but if course I wasn't an actor in the movie 😁, so I continued to eat my popcorn 🍿 and watch what was going on. Or maybe I was wrong! 🤔

Together, they travel across Japan, closing these mysterious doors to stop destruction.

When she opened the first door and stepped into that glowing, surreal world beyond, I literally held my breath. It felt like I was there with her, walking into the room.

But here's the twist, the journey isn’t just about saving the world — it becomes a personal quest for Suzume. She must face the grief she buried, the pain she ignored, and the love she never expected.

Suzume accidentally opens one of these doors, setting off a chain of supernatural events. A dark force escapes, threatening to bring disaster. And in the middle of it all, Souta is cursed and turned into a tiny, three-legged wooden chair. (Yes — it’s weird, but trust me, it works.)

But what hit me most wasn’t just the fantasy, it was her grief she felt in the houtny.

That quiet, aching feeling of loneliness, and pain. The way she looked at empty spaces. The way memories came back in flashes, soft, painful, raw. I thought about the people I’ve lost too. The memories I’ve hidden deep, buried and forgotten. And somehow, as she faced hers, I felt like I was facing mine too.

And then Souta turned into a tiny chair. I laughed hard but it wasn't funny though. Then I cried. And I laughed again. The movie danced between sadness and sweetness so perfectly.

The movie was really magical. It's heartbreaking. And it's beautiful.

Suzume” wasn’t just a movie about closing doors. It was about opening up. To memories. To heal. To love.

And most of all — to yourself.

It reminded me that no matter how broken or lost we feel, there’s always a way forward. Even if it’s slow. Even if you have to carry pain with you. You’re still moving. You’re still alive. And that’s enough.

If you ever feel stuck — in grief, in confusion, or just in the weight of being human — watch Suzume. Let yourself feel. Let the visuals wrap around you, let the music fill your chest, and let the story remind you that you’re not alone.

Sometimes, we all need a chair with three legs and a stubborn girl with a soft heart to show us the way.

It's that time of the semester again(exams) and I have this certain urge to start a Webtoon from scratch and rewatch Ginny and Georgia. I am very self aware guys, I just do some ass things sometimes just for the plot. ‎ ‎I was watching this anime with one of my friends. She came over for a visit and I noticed she had a little audio playing behind her phone's background. It wasn't the anime she was watching, she had somehow exited from the video clip leaving only the audio playing. After a little tap and click here and there, I noticed she was watching an anime but it was in dub. I cringed. ‎ Source ‎Anyways, the name of the anime is Tada never falls in love and the story goes like this: ‎In a quaint Japanese town, Mitsuyoshi Tada lives a quiet life rooted in routine and quiet passion. He spends his days helping his grandfather run a small photography studio and harbors dreams of becoming a great photographer like his late parents, who tragically died on a photography expedition. Tada is calm, reserved, and emotionally guarded; his world is simple, filled with the familiar comforts of family, close friends, and his camera lens. Everything changes, however, when a chance encounter during the cherry blossom season introduces him to a foreign girl who seems to have stepped out of a storybook. ‎ ‎Her name is Teresa Wagner; a blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl from Luxembourg who gets separated from her travel companion during her first day in Japan. For a few years I thought my name was "Dad... in Minecraft". Why the confusion? Well for at least 2 years my son would begin literally every sentence he said to me with "Dad... in Minecraft". And yes he did add the pause every single time. It's almost like the ellipses were in his blood.

Like every parent a decade ago, my children were obsessed with Minecraft. They played it every day, and watched videos of other people playing it on the rare occasion they were not playing it themselves. Although I would have preferred my kids had been playing outside, I couldn't be too mad about their game of choice. Minecraft is one of the most amazing games of all time. I cannot believe how much a kid could do with it. It seemed the only limitation of the game was a child's imagination. To me it seemed like digital LEGO... and being a LEGO addict as a child who was I to judge?

But this is about the movie, not the game. One of my favorite things in the world is when the makers of a kids movie actually put in time and effort into a story. There are some things so wildly popular that a movie studio could slap the name on any piece of garbage and it would be guaranteed a profit. A Minecraft Movie could have easily done this and been a wild success. It could have been a vapid money grab, but it wasn't. Instead it was a clever homage to the game, its players, and the millions of parents like me who were forced to hear about it, watch their kids play it, and admire the wonderful creations made by their children. Actually "forced" is probably the wrong word. I honestly feel lucky that my kids had a passion they wanted to show off. I actually miss the words "Dad... in Minecraft".

First of all, the special effects and animation in A Minecraft Movie are incredible. Sadly I did not see it on the big screen, now I wish I had. Although I have a very nice TV, I know it would have been far more beautiful in the theater. Luckily for me, the movie was not just eye candy. It actually had a story and it was very entertaining. Although it seemed a little bit too much like Jumanji (an adult is trapped in a game and kids go into it to save or be saved by him) it was till original enough that I did not mind. There are lots of full on belly laughs... if you know enough about the game to get them.

They did a great job with the casting. Jack Black, filled with childish wonder, was highly entertaining as Steve. Allowing Jack Black to sing some very catchy and funny songs really helped the entertainment value. Danielle Brooks is incredible as always. She is one of my favorite parts of Peacemaker and she did not disappoint in this movie. But by far the best part of the movie was Jason Momoa as Garrett. another one of my favorite things is when action hero actors don't take themselves too seriously. I love when they are willing to poke fun of themselves and the entire genre. Momoa does that expertly in A Minecraft Movie. It is like he is playing a caricature of Randy Macho Man Savage and it is hilarious. Many of the belly laughs come from Momoa rather than Jack Black.

Ok. This is getting way too deep about a fun popcorn movie about a kids game. So should you see it? Well if you are a fan of the game, you absolutely must see it. Although my kids tell me not everything is 100% accurate, there are tons of Easter eggs for true fans. The second tier is parents like me who had non-stop second hand Minecraft buzzes for a good part of the last decade. If you know what a creeper, villager and diamond armor is, you will definitely be entertained by this movie. Now if you have no experience with Minecraft (first... how is that possible?) this might not be the movie for you. I would imagine the inside jokes would be lost on you if you are a complete blank slate.

English. Hello movie buff friends, today I want to give you a short summary of the horror movie Underwater, since after watching it I was surprised by its excellent shots, in addition to the intrigue of the plot.

It all begins at the bottom of the sea in a water station, where Nora is an engineer who is doing her shift at night when suddenly there is an earthquake causing great damage to the place, filling with water and collapsing several places. Nora begins to scream to warn her companions, but not everyone manages to survive, since she has to close the floodgates to prevent further destruction.

After an explosion, Nora and Rodrigo, another companion, manage to survive, and together they go out in search of an exit to the evacuation zone, meeting another survivor on the way to Paul. Upon arrival they discover that the capsules had already been released, leaving only Captain Lucien. Together they decide to go to the control center where they meet Emili and Esmit who are trying to communicate without success. The team knows that an explosion could occur in a short time and they look for a way out although there are not many options. They decide to go to another abandoned underwater station in search of escape capsules, but there is a problem: they have to walk almost a mile along the bottom of the sea with special suits.

When going down to the bottom, with the suits on, it happens that Rodrigo's helmet was defective and breaks, causing him instant death due to the enormous pressure. Everyone is shocked to see what happened but without being able to do anything they continue their journey towards a capsule that will take them to the seabed. After a moment they see a distress signal from one of the station's capsules, Smith and Paul decide to go to the rescue. When they arrive among rubble and fog they see a decomposing body. When they look closely, a strange creature comes out of the corpse attacking Paul. Smith quickly kills the creature and takes it on board. Emily analyzes it, discovering that it is a species with alien characteristics never seen before. At the moment something happens and the electricity goes out, having to immediately leave the place since the place was about to fall into pieces due to another creature that was hitting them from outside. They manage to get out and find a hatch where they can take shelter, as well as a tunnel that takes them to the intermediate station on top of a transport car. When passing a section they have to continue walking since the water prevents their passage. Nora offers to check if there is any exit because the rubble obstructs the passage, she finds a passage through the water to the other side, they pass one by one, until it is Paul's turn, being the last one, he notices something strange in the water.The others on the other side begin to pull the rope that held their partner until he comes out on the other side, but when Paul alerts them that he saw something in the water, they do not believe him, until suddenly they feel Paul being pulled until his lower limb is detached, causing him to explode from the pressure. She prepares her suit again and goes out in search, this time with positive results because she immediately hears the voice of her friend who was with Smith. When they meet, the three of them head towards the station where the rescue capsules are, but they see that there is a huge nest of creatures in winter. others. Without explanation, none of them comes closer, as they realize that a much larger and scarier bug is coming towards them, which apparently is the master of them all. A chase begins where an explosion occurs. Emily returns for Nora and between the two of them they take Smith to the capsules, they help him enter but when Emily goes to enter she realizes that the other one is not working, she tries to convince Nora to fix it but she forces her to enter, the capsules are deployed, while Nora watches as the creatures surround her, causing an explosion destroying everything in its path including herself. We then see on the news that the only survivors are Smith and Emily.Saying that they will rebuild the base again to continue exploring. And here is my summary, hoping you liked it. Español. Hola amigos cinéfilos, hoy quiero hacerles un pequeño resumen de la película de terror Underwater, ya que después de verla me sorprendió por sus exelentes tomas, ademas de la intriga de la trama.

Todo comienza en el fondo del mar en una estacion acuatica, donde Nora es una ingeniera que está haciendo su turno en la noche cuando de repente hay un terremoto causando grandes daños al lugar, llenandose de agua y colapsando varios sitios. Nora comienza a gritar para avisar a sus compañeros, pero no todos logran sobrevivir, ya que tiene que cerrar las compuertas para evitar una destruccion mayor.

Despues de una explosion logran sobrevivir Nora y Rodrigo, otro compañero, que juntos salen en busca de una salida hacia la zona de evacuación, encontrandose en el camino a Paul otro sobreviviente, al llegar descubren que las capsulas ya habian sido liberadas quedando únicamente el capitán Lucien. Todos juntos deciden ir hasta el centro de control donde se encuentran con Emili y Esmit quienes estan tratando de comunicarse sin éxitos. El equipo sabe que en poco tiempo puede ocurrir una explosión y buscan una salida aunque no hay muchas opciones. Deciden ir hasta otra estacion submarina abandonada en busca de capsulas de escape, pero hay un problema que tienen que caminar casi una milla por el fondo del mar con unos trajes especiales.

Al bajar al fondo, ya con los trajes ocurre que el casco de Rodrigo estaba defectuoso y se rompe ocasionandole la muerte instantánea por la enorme presión. Todos se conmocionan al ver lo ocurrido pero sin poder hacer nada continuan su recorrido hacia una capsula que los va a dirigir hacia el fondo marino. Luego de un momento ven una señal de auxilio de una de las capsulas de la estacion, Smith y Paul deciden ir al rescate, al llegar entre escombros y niebla ven un cuerpo en descomposición, cuando se fijan bien una criatura extraña sale del cadáver atacando a Paul, rápido Smith mata al bicho y lo llevan a bordo. Emily lo analiza descubriendo que es una especie con características alienígena nunca antes vista. De momento ocurre algo y se corta la electricidad, teniendo que salir de inmediato del lugar ya que lugar estaba a punto de caerse en pedazos debido a otra criatura que desde afuera los golpeaba. Logran salir y encontrar una compuerta donde consiguen resguardarse, ademas de un túnel que los lleva hasta la estación intermedia encima de un carro de transporte. Al adelantar un tramo tienen que continuar caminando ya que el agua les impide el paso. Nora se brinda a revisar si hay alguna salida porque los escombros obstruyen el paso, encuentra un paso a través del agua hasta el otro lado, van pasando uno a uno, hasta que llega el turno de Paul siendo el último se percata de algo extraño en el agua. Los demás del otro lado comienzan a halar la cuerda que sujetaba a su compañero hasta que sale al otro lado, pero cuando Paul les alerta que vio algo en el agua no le creen, hasta que de repente sienten que tiran de Paul hasta desprenderle una extremidad inferior ocasionando que este explote por la presión. Corriendo salen del agua y llegan a la estación intermedia todos en choc aún, el capitán trata de establecer comunicación, pero una vez mas sin éxitos. Saben que no estan a salvo y tienen que dirigirse hasta otra estación, cuando van caminando ven una criatura que parece un humano pero mas extraño, apagan las luces y se quedan quieto pero sin suerte, ya que ataca a Smith arrastrandolo por la oscuridad, pero Lucien y Nora halan la cuerda para rescatarlo cuando el monstruo se lleva al capitán arrastrando a Nora hacia otra estacion por la cuerda que los sujetaba a ambos. La criatura va encima de Nora para devorala pero el capitan lo golpea y se lo quita de encima, el monstruo se lleva al capitan arrastrandolo y provocando que explotara por el exceso de presión. Nora queda sin conocimiento por un momento, cuando despierta por el alerta del traje, casi sin fuerza logra llegar a la estación y al ver que estaba sola comienza a tratar de comunicarse con Emily y Smith pero sin respuesta decide ir por ellos.

Prepara nuevamente su traje y sale en su búsqueda, esta vez con resultados positivos porque al momento escucha la vos de su amiga que estaba con Smith, al encontrarse los tres se dirigen hacia la estacion donde estan las capsulas de rescate, pero ven que hay un enorme nido de criaturas en invernación, deciden pasar en silencio pero, la alerta de oxígeno del traje de Emily comienza a sonar despertando a una criatura quien la captura, pero Nora le lanza un disparo que le salva la vida a su amiga, pero despierta a todas las demas. Sin explicación ninguna se acerca, ya que se percatan de que viene hacia ellos un bicho mucho más grande y aterrador, que al parecer es el amo de todos ellos. Comienza una persecución donde ocurre una explosión. Emily vuelve por Nora y entre las dos llevan a Smith hacia las capsulas, ayudan a que este entre pero cuando Emily va a entrar se percata wue la otra está sin funcionar, trata de convencer a Nora de arreglarla pero ésta la obliga a entrar, se desplegan las capsulas, mientras que Nora observa como las criaturas la rodean, ocasionando una explosion destruyendo todo a su paso incluyendo a ella misma. Luego vemos en las noticias que los únicos sobrevivientes son Smith y Emily. Diciendo que reconstruirán nuevamente la base para seguir explorando. Y hasta aquí mi resumen, esperando que haya sido de su agrado. Les envío un fuerte abrazo, éxitos y bendiciones 🙏.

I love it when I watch anime that blends action, comedy and drama. One moment, your heart is racing fast and you are inquisitive to know a character's fate or the next line of action, and the next moment, a comedic scene eases your tension. It is like witnessing a top tier action scene. Say a scene where the main character or your favorite character is about to meet their downfall; this scene keeps you on your toes, but the next moment, you get introduced to a comedic scene that eases your tension. That right there is a good anime for me. The fact that some anime mix action or tragedy and comedy does not make them less interesting. In fact, it makes them more appealing to viewers. Or maybe it is just me? In this post, I'll be sharing my takes on an anime I just completed. An anime that blends action, comedy and drama—Spy X Family. 

As usual, I came across a clip of this anime on Instagram. I was skeptical about downloading and watching it because, one, I’m currently dealing with school exams. I abstain from watching new anime during exams, because I know I might get engrossed in it. Two, the scene I saw on Instagram wasn't really catchy. So I was skeptical if it would be a waste of time. If you have seen Spy X Family, you might remember the part where Anya plays a sport called dodgeball. The part where Anya loses to Bill Watkins was what I saw on Instagram, and to be honest, it didn't really grab my attention. But then, I proceeded to download it. I mean, how hard can it be to watch 24 episodes? 

Spy X family is not the best anime I have seen, but I really enjoyed watching it. The story is set in a world where two rival nations—Westails and Ostania are on the brink of war,  threatening world peace. Who doesn't want world peace? Every sane person wants to live peacefully, far from war. To achieve world peace, Westails sends its best spy-Twilight on a mission called Operation Strix. The aim of the mission is to infiltrate Eden Academy, a top ranking school. Then get close to an Ostania politician’s son so he could learn the secrets of the rivalry group from them. All this for the sake of world peace. 

Interestingly, this mission isn't just an ordinary mission. To infiltrate Eden Academy, Twilight has to form a family. Twilight assumes the name Loid Forger, and adopts a child from the orphanage, named Anya. Anya isn't just an ordinary kid—she is a telepath who can read minds (Loid Forger doesn't know this). He also gets into a marriage with Yor Briar, an assassin with the code name Thorn Princess. Now, the Forger family contains of a spy, a telepath and an assassin. The interesting thing about the Forger Family is that none of them knows each other’s secrets. For example, Loid Forger doesn't know that his “fake” wife is an assassin who takes up dangerous jobs and kills people, usually bad people, easily with her thorns. Similarly, Yor doesn't know that her husband is a spy who has taken and succeeded in numerous dangerous missions. Both Loid and Yor do not know that their “daughter” is a telepath who can read minds. 

However, Anya knows their secrets, but she chose to keep quiet to maintain her new family. Although Loid is not Anya’s biological father, he treats her like his own. Yor also treats her like she'd treat her own daughter. For Operation Strix to be successful, Anya Forger must form a close relationship with Damian Desmond, the second son of Donovan Desmond. All efforts to make sure this happens keep going down the drain. 

I enjoyed watching this anime. On a scale of 10, I give it an 8. Have you seen Spy X Family? What do you think about it?
