I remember when I first started this anime. It seemed like a simple comedy slice of life, one that'll be a lighthearted watch.
Back in 2022—yes, this is one of the few anime's that I viewed when it was airing—it started as such; a dumb cute mind reader, her spy dad and assassin mother. The perfect set up for a comedy action and it did its job beautifully.
So much so that I was eagerly waiting for the next season, which ended without a hitch and then against I joined the wait-list for this current season.
One thing I did notice was the change in anime tone and the strengthening and deepening of the plot.
Now, I just finished season 3 and it's just so different from season 1 that I'm like Wow
How did we leave the comic "spy adopts a child" trope into something way more mature, thought provoking and wholesome at the same time?

> Operation Strix is still a go and the mission has grown numerous contingency plans as Yorr has coincidentally made friends with Melinda Desmond, the wife of Loid's target.
Anya and Damians rocky friendship still carries on and becomes a bit more stable after numerous challenges they face.
Regardless, the west is becoming more active and Loid Forger must try his best to make the mission a success.

The trailer looks cute and fuzzy and I assure you the season is a little bit like that.
Yet, it still does have its actions and thriller themes. After all, it featured the well anticipated "Mole arc" where we get to see Loid in real spy action and not the unnecessary athletics that Anya's day to day parenting calls for 😂
The part of the anime that does stick to me though is from the episode's 40 where we get to see Loid's flashback to his time as a war orphan and we get to witness the Genesis of Twilight.

Regardless, we also get to see a very vivid account of what war is... Especially one that's happening from a child's point of view.
It really was something new, fresh and unexpected from the show and that made it even more wholesome.

After this flashback we have more comedy and thrills that'll keep yoi on the edge of your seat in one moment and laughing or chuckling the next.
Spy X Family is a show that has managed to master the two extremes and it's one I believe everyone should watch, this Season 3 is the latest and in the full anime there are just about 50 episodes out so it's an easy one week Binge watch.
It's wonderful for family and kids of 4-5 and above.

While looking for anime to watch, I came across a title that caught my attention and decided to give it a try. Not only did it bring back memories of a time when TV series focused on spies, but it also made me laugh a lot. It has interesting missions and shows how something that started out as a convenience can gradually transform into something more.
Spy × Family
This anime chronicles the adventures of a Westalis secret agent known as Twilight, a master of disguise who adopts the civilian identity of Loid Forger and must form a family for an important mission. His goal is to maintain peace between the countries of Ostania and Westalis (fictional countries). However, while searching for the members of his fictional family, Twilight first encounters Anya, a girl he adopts from an underground orphanage who has telepathic powers, allowing her to read the minds of those around her. Then, while searching for a wife so that his daughter can be admitted to the school of his choice, he ends up marrying Yor Briar, who is actually a professional assassin known as the Thorn Princess, working for an organization called Garden.
The first season of the anime tells us how this unusual family is put together, since it is not based on love. Each member pursues their own interests, and so far the only one who knows everyone's secrets is Anya, thanks to her ability to read the minds of her adoptive parents and her knowledge that one is a spy and the other a professional assassin. We also meet Bond, the family dog, originally the subject of experiments carried out by a secret Ostania scientific division, where he was known as Specimen 8. This little dog has the ability to see the future.
As for the animation, it's not a spectacle in itself, but it allows us to enjoy the story of the Forger family. We see how they adapt to their roles within the family and how they alternate their missions as spies and assassins with their new roles, which sometimes leads to funny misunderstandings.
We also see how other characters are introduced, Twilight's informant, her co-worker, the spy Nightfall, and also Yor's younger brother, Yuri Briar, a civil servant who is actually a government agent, specifically a lieutenant in the state secret police.
But in one way or another, each member of the family gradually and unknowingly takes their role within a family that was theoretically formed by the interests of each member more seriously.
Each character has a particular trait, which in some episodes allows us to see the struggles of a specific character, such as Anya, who wants to help her father in his mission, so she seeks to get closer to Damian, the youngest son of Donovan Desmond, who is the president of the National Unity Party, a dangerous person who threatens East-West peace and whom agent Twilight must approach in his mission. In others, we see how Yor fulfills her missions as an assassin and the brute force she possesses.
The music in this anime is one of the things I enjoy the most because it reminds me a lot of spy series like Mission: Impossible or Get Smart, in addition to the introductions to each episode where they give us a summary of the interests of each of the family members in joining without telling the rest of the members what their purpose is.
However, there are details that I hope will improve. For example, so far, Yor's character development has been weak. She is often seen drinking wine and getting drunk, or responding violently when she gets nervous. Some episodes don't take us anywhere, and so far, we know nothing or very little about the Desmond family or the Garden organization, which Yor works for. In addition, at some point, both Loid and Yor will discover their real identities, and that could cause a conflict with an unknown outcome and complications for the family and the mission.
Something I couldn't help but notice is how the anime gives the Ostalia officials a Nazi touch. For example, it is noticeable that the character of Donovan Desmond is influenced by the figure of Adolf Hitler, and Yuri's uniforms, IDs, and more display symbols very similar to those used by the Nazis and the SSS.
In short, this is an interesting anime that guarantees laughter and exciting moments, with a development that I hope will increase in the future, because as I mentioned, its third season is currently airing. I give it a 7.5/10.

Buscando opciones para ver algún anime, me topé con un título que llamo mi atención y me decidí a darle una oportunidad, además de traerme recuerdos de épocas donde la series de televisión se centraban en espías, me ha permitido reír mucho, además de tener sus puntos de misiones interesantes y se observa como algo que nació por conveniencia se puede ir trasformando poco a poco en algo más.
Spy × Family
Este anime narra las aventuras del agente secreto de Westalis, conocido como Twilight, maestro del disfraz, quien adopta la identidad civil de Loid Forger y para una importante misión debe formar una familia. Su objetivo es mantener la paz entre los países Ostania y Westalis (países ficticios). Sin embargo, Twilight al ir buscando a los integrantes de su familia ficticia, se topa primero con Anya una niña a la que adopta en un orfanato clandestino y posee poderes de telepatía, por lo que puede leer las mentes de quienes le rodean, luego al buscar una esposa para que puedan darle el ingreso su hija a la escuela deseada y termina casándose con Yor Briar, quien en realidad, es una asesina profesional, conocida como Thorn Princess, al servicio de una organización llamada Garden.
Ahora bien, la primera temporada del anime nos va narrando como se va armando esta familia poco típica, ya que no está formada por amor, allí cada integrante busco sus intereses y hasta ahora la única que conoce los secretos de todos es Anya, gracias a que ha leído las mentes de sus padres adoptivos y sabe que uno es un espía y la otra una asesina profesional, además también conocemos a Bond, al perro de la familia, originalmente el sujeto de experimentos realizados una división científica secreta Ostania, allí fue conocido como, espécimen 8, este perrito tiene la capacidad de ver el futuro.
En cuanto a la animación, no es un espectáculo en sí, pero nos permite disfrutar la historia de la familia Forger. Vemos como se van adaptando a sus papeles dentro de la familia y como alternan sus misiones como espías y asesinos a sus nuevos roles, lo que a veces lleva a confusiones graciosas.
También vemos como introducen otros personajes, el informante de Twilight, su compañera de trabajo, la espía Nightfall, y también el hermano menor de Yor, Yuri Briar , un funcionario público que en realidad es un agente del gobierno, en concreto teniente de la policía secreta estatal.
Pero de una u otra manera, cada uno de los miembros de la familia, poco a poco y hasta sin darse cuenta va tomando más en serio su papel dentro de una familia que en teoría fue formada por los intereses de cada uno.
Cada personaje al tener una particularidad, nos hace ver en algunos capítulos las luchas de algún personaje en específico, como por ejemplo Anya, que desea ayudar a su padre en su misión, por lo que busca tener un acercamiento a Damian, el hijo menor de Donovan Desmond, quien es el presidente del Partido de Unidad Nacional, quien es una persona peligrosa que amenaza la paz este-oeste y es a quien debe acercarse el agente Twilight en su misión, en otros vemos como Yor, cumple sus misiones como asesina y la fuerza bruta que posee.
La música de este anime es de las cosas que más disfruto porque me recuerda mucho las series de espías como misión imposible o el superagente 86, además de las introducciones de cada capítulo donde nos hacen un recuento de los intereses de cada uno de los miembros de la familia para unirse sin decirle al resto de los integrantes cuál es su propósito.
Pero, hay detalles que espero mejoren, por ejemplo hasta ahora el desarrollo del personaje de Yor ha sido flojo, se le ve mucho tomar vino y emborracharse o la forma violenta de responder al poner nerviosa, o cuando algunos capítulos no nos llevan a ninguna parte, hasta ahora no se sabe nada o muy poco de la familia Desmond o de la organización Garden, que es para la que trabaja Yor. Además de que en algún momento ambos (Loid y Yor) van a descubrir sus identidades reales y eso podría causar un conflicto que no se sabe de que manera podría terminar y las complicaciones que traería a la familia y la misión.
Algo que no pude evitar notar, es como el anime le da un toque de nazis a los funcionarios de Ostalia, por ejemplo es notorio que el personaje de Donovan Desmomd, está influenciado por la figura de Adolf Hitler y los uniformes de Yuri sus identificaciones y más muestran símbolos muy parecidos a los que usan los nazis y la SSS.
En resumen, este es un anime interesante que nos garantiza risas y momentos emocionantes, con un desarrollo que espero aumente a futuro, pues como ya mencioné, está en plena emisión su tercera temporada, yo le doy un 7,5 /10.

Yesterday I made an anime post Spy x Family (I've attached the link in case you'd like to read it), so today we'll talk about the movie for that anime. This anime currently has three seasons and is currently airing. Its genre is adventure, action, and comedy.
This movie was released a while ago (I had the chance to see it at the cinema with my mom since she also likes this anime).
Secret agent Twilight must complete the most challenging mission of his career, Operation "Strinx." As part of the mission, he must marry and have a daughter in order to get closer to his target, Donovan Desmond. Twilight takes the alias of Loid Forger and adopts an orphan girl named Anya, a telepath, eventually marrying Yor Briar, an assassin. However, they hide their identities from each other without suspicion. To complete his mission, Twilight must enroll Anya in the prestigious Eden Academy so she can befriend his target's son, Damian Desmond. To achieve this, Anya must obtain 8 Stella Medals to become an Imperial scholar, but the real challenge for Twilight will be to prevent Anya from acquiring 8 Tonitrus, or she will be expelled!
FILM SYNOPSIS:
A fictional family of secret agents tries to win a cooking competition held at their fake daughter's school to save their jobs, as the organization plans to replace them if they don't succeed soon.
THE FORGERS:
Since we already knew the characters from my previous post, we see something distinctive about this film:
Loid: He remains the spy capable of anything, solving and taking control of any situation. In the film, we see that on the journey, he begins to discover what it means to take care of his family.
Yor: She's starting to get a little worried about her "relationship" with Loid. Despite being an unstoppable killer, we're shown a fearful side of her about losing her new family. However, we see her struggle at times, taking on her role as a mother very well (everything she does to defend and care for our little Anya).
Anya: As expected, the heart and reason for the story. If it weren't for the school and the dessert-making event... we wouldn't have a movie! And if she didn't eat the chocolate that was in her suitcases... we wouldn't have the ending LOLOLOLOLOL, every occurrence and expression is unique!!! But unfortunately before the end of the movie she has to suffer a lot while she was kidnapped... for going to the bathroom... (Only she could have something so absurd happen to this magnitude)
Bond: Being part of the family, he also embarks on a journey with the Forgers. Even though they don't let him into certain places, we always find him loyal to his family and creating tender and useful moments (especially when our Anya is kidnapped, giving his all to defend her).
But above all, we realize that this very "strange" family with many things to hide... may be the most charming and much more normal than other families.
Franky: Despite not belonging to the Forgers... Loid gave him a special "mission"... unfortunately with everything he went through to save our little Anya... THEY FORGOT ABOUT FRANKY!!!!!!!
DETAILS I LIKED AND WANT TO HIGHLIGHT AND WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVED:
The charming characters and the humor it displays. We see a film full of comedy, action, and situations that seem "normal" to an extreme... There are very comical scenes that add a touch to the plot and reflect the "childish" humor very well, especially from the perspective or perception of Anya and her antics. (There are also very, very exaggerated moments by our protagonist; someone who hasn't seen the anime may not be accustomed to them.)
Despite being a film, whether it's canon or not, it feels like a very particular adventure (although the plot doesn't change the course of the series much), with small details that I would have liked to have been canon (when Loid tried to tell Yor that it shouldn't be a fake marriage anymore, but a real one, but out of nervousness, she hit him so hard that he flew).
The animation doesn't disappoint!!! I must say I was very pleased with every detail they considered. The landscapes and settings are beautiful... as our protagonists go on a journey, these unique moments enjoying the scenery are wonderful!!!

El día de ayer hice un post del anime Spy x Family (Les adjunto el link en caso deseen leerlo), así que el día de hoy hablaremos de la película de ese anime. Actualmente este anime tiene con 3 temporadas y se encuentra en emisión y su género es: Aventura, acción y comedia.
Esta película se estrenó ya hace un tiempo (Tuve oportunidad de verlo en el cine junto a mi mamá ya que a ella también le gusta este anime).
El agente secreto Twilight debe cumplir con la misión más desafiante en su carrera, Operación "Strinx". Como parte de la mision él deberá casarse y tener una hija para poder acercarse a su objectivo, Donovan Desmond. Twilight toma el alias de Loid forger y adopta a una niña huérfana de nombre Anya, una telepata, y eventualmente casandose con Yor Briar, una asesina, sin embargo ellos esconden su identidad del otro sin sospechar. Para completar su mision, "Twilight" debera inscribir a Anya en la prestigiosa Academia Eden para que ella se amigue con el hijo de su objectivo, Damian Desmond. Para logarlo Anya deberá conseguir 8 Medallas Stella para convertise en una erudito imperial pero, el verdadero desafio para "Twilight" será evitar que Anya tenga 8 Tonitrus sino será expulsada!!
SINOPSIS DE LA PELICULA:
Una familia ficticia de agentes secretos intenta ganar un concurso de cocina que se celebra en la escuela de su falsa hija para salvar sus empleos, ya que la organización planea reemplazarlos si no obtienen algún éxito pronto.
LOS FORGER:
Como ya conocíamos a los personajes desde mi publicación anterior, observamos algo característico dentro de esta película:
Loid: Sigue siendo el espía capaz de todo, resolviendo y tomando el control ante cualquier situación. En la película observamos que en el viaje, empieza a descubrir que significa cuidar de la familia.
Yor: Empieza a preocuparse un poco de su "relación" con Loid, a pesar de ser una asesina imparable nos muestran un lado temeroso de ella por perder a su nueva familia. Sin embargo, la veremos luchar en ciertos momentos, tomando muy bien su rol como madre (Todo lo que hace para defender y cuidar a nuestra pequeña Anya).
Anya: Como es de esperarse, el corazón y la razón de la historia. Si no fuera por el colegio y el evento de preparar postres... no tendríamos película!. Y si no se comía el chocolate que se encontraba entre las maletas... no tendríamos el desenlace JAJAJAJAJA, cada ocurrencia y expresiones son únicas!!! Pero lamentablemente antes de finalizar la película tiene que sufrir mucho mientras se encontraba secuestrada... por ir al baño... (Sólo a ella le puede pasar algo tan absurdo a esta magnitud)
Bond: Siendo parte de la familia, también emprende el viaje con los Forger, a pesar que no lo dejan ingresar a ciertos sitios, siempre lo encontramos leal a su familia y generando momentos tiernos y útiles (Sobre todo cuando secuestran a nuestra Anya, dándolo todo para defenderla).
Pero ante todo nos damos cuenta, que esta familia muy "extraña" con muchas cosas que ocultar... puede ser la más encantadora y mucho más normal que otras familias.
Franky: A pesar de no pertenecer a los Forger... Loid le brindó una "misión" especial... lamentablemente con toda lo que pasó por salvar a nuestra pequeña Anya... SE OLVIDARON DE FRANKY!!!!!!!
DETALLES QUE ME GUSTARON Y QUIERO DESTACAR Y QUE COSAS PUDO MEJORAR:
El encanto de los personajes y el humor que maneja, observamos una película llena de comedia, acción y situaciones que parecen "normales" a un nivel extremo... Hay escenas muy cómicas que le da su toque a la trama y reflejan muy bien el humor "infantil" sobre todo desde la vista o percepción de Anya y sus ocurrencias (También que hay momentos muy pero muy exagerados por nuestra protagonista, puede que la persona que no haya visto el anime no se sienta acostumbrado).
A pesar de ser una película, por más de que se encuentre y sea canónico o no, se tiene como una aventura muy particular (Aunque la trama no cambia mucho el rumbo de la serie), con pequeños detalles que si me hubiera gustado que sea canon (Cuando Loid le intentó decir a Yor que ya no sea un matrimonio falso, sino uno real pero de los nervios ella le pegó un golpe que lo sacó volando).
La animación no decepciona!!! Debo decir que me agradó bastante cada detalle que tomaban en cuenta, los paisajes y los escenarios son bellísimos... como nuestros protagonistas se van de viaje, estos momentos únicos disfrutando de los paisajes son algo maravilloso!!!.

OPERATION STRINX - HOW A MISSION FORMED A SOMEWHAT UNUSUAL FAMILY:
To better understand the anime, we're set in a setting where a Cold War is raging between Westalis and Ostania, where our protagonist, a spy known as Twilight, is given a very important mission to maintain world peace. So he takes on the identity of Loid Forger, along with his wife Yor Briar and daughter Anya... but not everything is as easy as it seems, as Loid isn't the only one hiding secrets in that family.
Loid Forger: A highly calculating spy, he anticipates all kinds of movements and situations, capable of creating a plan in a very short time.
Yor Briar: A secret assassin, with far superior skills that she learned as a child to earn money and take care of her brother.
Anya Forger: A girl with the power of telepathy, capable of reading the thoughts of others (even animals).
Bond: The pet, another member of the family. Previously used for illegal experiments, he acquired the ability to see certain fragments of the future.
Despite these characters starting out with a very distinct personality at the beginning of the plot, we also observe certain changes that they undergo as the plot progresses...
Loid Forger: Our spy slowly begins to discover what it means to have a family, and to have someone waiting for him at home.
Yor Forger: She adapts to the role of mother (although she doesn't always do it well... especially when cooking...), taking care of others, and wanting to be a good wife.
Anya Forger: As a child, despite her telepathy, she's the heart of the family and the story, along with every incident... to the point that she wants to save the world too (Just like Loid... although Anya's plans might be a bit... strange?).
Bond: Giving himself a new chance after all the abuse he suffered, realizing he's a member of the family and very loved (even by Yor, even though her cooking almost killed him).
Despite the dark moments that can occur in the anime, this series stands out for the humor it uses in every situation. It's hilarious to see each character's antics, Anya's expressions and thoughts (even when she reads other people's minds), our great character, ELEGANCE... among other characters who make this anime very fun and full of laughs.
DETAILS I LIKED AND WANT TO HIGHLIGHT, AND WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVED:
The animation is very good, with vibrant colors and a visual style that clearly differentiates the comedic moments from the serious or meaningful ones.
Both the opening and ending themes are gems, to the point of being very catchy (I'm one of those people who won't skip a song for anything).
The characters are very charismatic, so much so that we can grow attached to them. Both the main characters and the supporting characters... each with their own unique twists and turns (or misfortunes... like Franky).
I like that it touches on certain deep themes to such an extent, such as the experimentation they did with Bond, how Yor, as a child, had to kill people to take care of her brother since they didn't have any money, Loid's possible past (they don't tell much about it in the anime) and how he ended up being a spy, and Anya's uncertain past, where we don't know if she was born that way or if she was also part of some experiment like Bond.
The comedy it has, despite being an action-spy anime, is undoubtedly a very fun anime to have a good time with each of the characters.
Before finishing, I highly recommend this anime, since it is something light it has some sentiment that can touch the heart of more than one person, where it combines action with the tenderness of a fake family... despite this there are many memes that indicate that this family is much better than other conventional families because of the union they have between them. So if you are looking for a fun, adorable anime and above all one that has action and a touch of depth... I recommend watching Spy x Family, you will not regret it!

El día de hoy les contaré de un anime muy divertido y sobre todo entretenido, capaz muchos ya lo conocen (Ya que dentro de poquísimo tiempo se estrenará su nueva temporada!). Para entender un poco más el anime nos ponen en un escenario donde ocurre una guerra fría entre Westalis y Ostania, en el que nuestro protagonista es un espía conocido como Twilight obtiene una misión muy importante para mantener la paz mundial. Así que adopta la identidad de Loid Forger, con su esposa Yor Briar y su hija Anya... pero no todo es tan fácil como parece, ya que Loid no es el único que oculta secretos en esa familia.:
Loid Forger: Un espía muy calculador, anticipa todo tipo de movimientos y situaciones, capaz de crear un plan en muy poco tiempo.
Yor Briar: Una asesina en secretos, con habilidades muy superiores que aprendió desde pequeña para conseguir dinero y cuidar a su hermano.
Anya Forger: Una niña con el poder de telepatía capaz de leer el pensamiento de los demás (Incluso animales).

Loid Forger: Nuestro espía poco a poco empieza a descubrir que significa el tener una familia, y tener alguien que lo espera en casa.
Yor Forger: Adapta el rol de madre (A pesar de no siempre hacerlo bien... sobre todo cuando cocina...), el cuidar de los demás y querer ser buena esposa.
Anya Forger: Como una niña a pesar de la telepatía es el corazón de la familia y de la historia, junto con cada ocurrencia... a tal punto de que ella misma quiere salvar al mundo también (Igual que Loid... aunque los planes de Anya puede que sean algo... ¿raros?).
Bond: El darse una nueva oportunidad después de todos los maltratos que sufrió, darse cuenta que es un integrante más de la familia y muy querido (Incluso con Yor aunque su comida casi lo mata).
A pesar de los momentos sombríos que puede ocurrir en el anime, esta serie se destaca por el humor que manejan según las situaciones. Es muy gracioso ver las ocurrencias de cada personaje, las expresiones de Anya y los pensamientos que tiene (Incluso cuando lee la mente de los demás), nuestro gran personaje de la ELEGANCIA... entre otros personajes que harán de este anime algo muy divertido y lleno de risas.
DETALLES QUE ME GUSTARON Y QUIERO DESTACAR Y QUE COSAS PUDO MEJORAR:
La animación es muy buena, tiene unos colores muy vibrantes y un estilo visual que mantiene bien diferenciado tanto los momentos cómicos y los momentos serios o significativos.
Tanto los opening y endings son una joyita, a tal punto de ser muy pegadizas (Soy de las personas que no se salta las canciones por nada del mundo).
Los personajes son muy carismáticos, incluso a tal punto que nos podemos encariñar con ellos. Tanto como los protagonistas y los personajes secundarios... cada uno con distintas ocurrencias (O desgracias... como Franky).
Me agrada que a tal punto toque ciertos temas profundos, como la experimentación que hicieron con Bond, como Yor siendo una niña tuvo que matar gente para poder cuidar a su hermano ya que no contaban con dinero, el posible pasado de Loid (No lo cuentan mucho en el anime) y como terminó siendo un espía, el pasado incierto de Anya donde no sabemos si ella nació así o también es de algún experimento como Bond.
La comedia que tiene a pesar de ser un anime de acción y espionaje, sin duda alguna es un anime muy divertido para pasarlo bien con cada uno de los personajes.
Antes de finalizar, recomiendo mucho este anime, ya que al ser algo ligero tiene algo de sentimiento que puede llegar al corazón de más de una persona, donde combina la acción con la ternura de una familia falsa... a pesar de esto hay muchos memes que indican que esta familia es mucho mejor que otras familias convencionales por la unión que tienen entre ellos. Así que si buscas un anime divertido, adorable y sobre todo que tenga acción y un toque de profundidad... te recomiendo ver Spy x Family, no te arrepentirás!

What struck me most about Spy X Family wasn’t just the premise—though it’s wild and clever enough to hook anyone. A spy who needs a fake family, an assassin who pretends to be his wife, and a little girl with telepathic powers? On paper, it sounds like chaos waiting to happen. But watching it unfold felt surprisingly tender, like beneath all the espionage and ridiculous misunderstandings, the story is really about people learning to love each other without meaning to.
Honestly speaking, the heart of the show is Anya. The manner in which she misunderstands the circumstances, shouts out the funniest things and makes those gross faces--I lost count of the amount of time she caused me to laugh outright. This is one of those instances when she attempts to impress at school so much that it is both funny and heartbreaking since you can only see how she is trying to ensure that she fits in. That struck me in that, who has not been there? An attempt to assert oneself, the attempt to become part of a world that is too large to you? Depending on how difficult it was to watch her struggle, and then to watch her little successes, made me cheer her in a manner that startled me.
However, there are the gut-punch moments. Loid (or Twilight) is allegedly this cold, calculating spy, and yet when he warms up on Anya, when he loses an instant that this is a mission, it was breaking me. You can sense the kind of desire he feels to protect her and not because it is his task, but something real is beginning to develop in him which he does not know what to call. One scene is when he asks himself whether he is doing enough to her, and I can tell it was like a silent thunderclap. It was at this moment that the show ceased to be fun, and something I have carried with me.
Yor had brought, as well, superstrata which I had not anticipated. Surface-wise she is deadly, graceful and nearly comically awkward at home. However, the instances of her loneliness oozing through, as she questions whether she is good enough as a wife or a mother, despite this family being a fake one in technical terms, hurt. It reminded me of the frequency with which people conceal their insecurities with competence or humor. She desires to be a part of it as much as Anya does and that strand of longing holds them all together.
The thing that left the anime in my head was the fact that it was absurd and, at the same time, sincere. One second I could be laughing at the wild heh face of Anya, and the next second I could have this lump in my throat when Loid was able to tell me in his own manner that this so-called fake family was coming home. It was the whiplash between comedy and silent emotion that made it memorable, because that is what real life is all about, having joy and pain intertwined all the time.
When I fell behind with the episodes, I came to a conclusion: it is not about spies or assassins and secret missions that Spy X Family is about. It is about a discovered family, how love creeps in between the cracks even when you are trying to keep it out. It is about how those people who begin by pretending to be something can end up creating something that is real, something to fight.
then what was it like to watch. Similar to being duped into laughter until your stomach aches only to realize that you had been robbed of your heart in the process. And honestly? It is the type of anime I will never leave.

I abstain from watching new anime during exams, because I know I might get engrossed in it. Two, the scene I saw on Instagram wasn't really catchy. So I was skeptical if it would be a waste of time. If you have seen Spy X Family, you might remember the part where Anya plays a sport called dodgeball. The part where Anya loses to Bill Watkins was what I saw on Instagram, and to be honest, it didn't really grab my attention. But then, I proceeded to download it. I mean, how hard can it be to watch 24 episodes?
Spy X family is not the best anime I have seen, but I really enjoyed watching it. The story is set in a world where two rival nations—Westails and Ostania are on the brink of war, threatening world peace. Who doesn't want world peace? Every sane person wants to live peacefully, far from war. To achieve world peace, Westails sends its best spy-Twilight on a mission called Operation Strix. The aim of the mission is to infiltrate Eden Academy, a top ranking school. Then get close to an Ostania politician’s son so he could learn the secrets of the rivalry group from them. All this for the sake of world peace.
Interestingly, this mission isn't just an ordinary mission. To infiltrate Eden Academy, Twilight has to form a family. Twilight assumes the name Loid Forger, and adopts a child from the orphanage, named Anya. Anya isn't just an ordinary kid—she is a telepath who can read minds (Loid Forger doesn't know this). He also gets into a marriage with Yor Briar, an assassin with the code name Thorn Princess. Now, the Forger family contains of a spy, a telepath and an assassin. There was no need for me to watch the trailer; just hearing about it from my friends was enough for me to start watching. There's a familiar background music that is often played in spy-related movies. This is my first time watching the trailer, and I have liked it so far.
The story begins with Loid, who is known as Twilight, and he's a spy. To complete his mission to bring world peace, he is now planning something big, and for that, he needs a family. He decides to adopt a child and finds a girl named Anya; she is mysterious and looks quite smart and cute. Loid takes her as his daughter, but his family is still incomplete, so he needs a wife. He meets a girl who works as an office clerk named Yor. Loid decides to make her his wife, and later it is revealed that Yor is an assassin. What I liked the most is the background music; it totally gives the vibe we see in spy movies. Well, I would definitely suggest this anime to all kinds of people because anyone can watch it with their family or friends. Every scene is cute, and there's nothing inappropriate.
I ship Loid and Yor a lot, even though they are husband and wife to hide their identities. I want them to be in a real relationship, which means I want them to fall for each other, and hopefully, this will happen sooner or later as they stay together. Anyway, I'm glad the story is not only based on Loid; every character has their own part in the story, and that makes it more beautiful to watch.

**Plot**
The story is about a spy known as Twilight who needs a family because of his undercover mission. For that reason, he arranges a fake marriage with a city hall worker and also adopts a child. However, Twilight does not know that, besides his secret, his family has secrets of their own. Furthermore, we see that Twilight's wife, Yor, is an assassin and that their daughter, Anya, has telepathic powers; she can read minds. Let's be honest: I really like the storyline; it's very different. There are a lot of fighting movies and series that I've seen, but with a story like this, everything blends perfectly. I feel this type of story should be admired. I really like the father-daughter moments; they remind me of my daughters. Even though Twilight is not Anya's real father, their bond feels so real. I can truly understand why Anya is hiding her powers; she doesn't want to be abandoned. She is finally happy and wants to be a part of a family, and she's willing to stay obedient for that. Any kid in her situation would do the same.
I also like the couple; they don't have any chemistry, but they look perfect for each other. As Twilight is a spy and Yor is an assassin, I wonder what will happen when they find out the truth about each other. That would be more interesting and fun to watch. It's not necessary to add forced romance, but I would like to see some, as they are married; they must have grown some feelings somehow because that's what would happen in real life. Staying with a person for a long time will make them grow affections.
I want to see something real, not full of fantasy, but something real that can spice up this anime more. I also like that how smart each and every character is; there's no stupidity, and everything feels valid.
As I view this anime, there's not much in it. Sometimes I felt that I was watching a kids' series, but this type of anime must be popular among youngsters. However, I didn't grow that much interest. I rate it 8 out of 10 because the story felt a little boring, but still, it was fun to watch because of Anya; she makes everything interesting. My Review
Spy × Family completely captured my heart with them. It's the kind of anime that perfectly balances action, humor, and human family feelings. What I loved most was how each character, despite their true identities being hidden, is searching for connection and inclusion in their own way.
Lloyd is the cool dad character who is calm and strategic, but secretly caring. Yore's terrifying double life brings unexpected thrills and laughs, while Anya is an absolute scene-stealer. Her facial expressions, reactions, and mind-blowing moments are hilarious and heartwarming.
The art style is concise, the fight choreography is fashionable, and it never seems to move at a snail's pace. This is the kind of show that's perfect for those who love action, comedy, and a slice of life.

Fake lives, fake careers, fake relationships, fake family -- anything goes for no good reason but abstract "world peace" which is an excuse for everything in this show.
In a sense, like most other spy shows, it is a blatant attempt to redefine immoral as morally acceptable, funny and cute. Which is disgusting in the essence, IMHO, also because of our willingness to accept such things, and even defend them, as long as they are funny enough. In other words, if propaganda of evil is entertaining, then it is "OK", right? Our culture have been weaponized to de-sensitise us to ugliness of spies and their inherent immorality.
Remember that spies are despicable deceptive state-sanctioned thieves and murderers employed by "governments" to do extra-judicial assassinations. Think not James Bond but "oh-so-funny" assassins of Skripals and Litvinenko... Why not make comedy shows about those actual spy scandals and see how "funny" that would be? While it is OK to laugh about evil, IMHO portrayal of evil as comedy is wrong. While Hollywood specialises in that kind of propaganda, it is disappointing to see when the same is done in the anime world.
The execution of the show is no doubt flawless, with nice visual appearance. Combination of suspense and comedy makes the show entertaining. Protagonists are likeable, confident, capable and creative at improvising. They face grotesque challenges and use any means necessary to accomplish their objectives, usually narrowly avoiding exposure. They maintain veneer of respectable public appearance but switch into "spy mode" without hesitation, with full commitment no matter how small is their challenge. Progression of the story is dynamic and lighthearted. It is an easily enjoyable show but it could have been so much more if it was not so shallow...

Hello Anime lovers, its another great day to talk about something we all love: "anime." It's funny how I watched the Spy X Family's first season and second season without realizing there is a movie for it already. I was scrolling through some anime news just to read the description so I could watch an anime movie, not a series, and I found out Spy X Family Movie is out.
I watched it, and this is what I have to say about it.
The Title of the Movie is "Spy X Family: Code White."
If you are a fan of action, drama, adventure, love, and comedy anime, then this movie is for you.
I have watched the first and second season and I will highly recommend it to anyone but of you want to watch the movie, I will advice you watch the series first so you can understand some of the roles the characters play.
Storyline
The Loid showing up at Anya school without anyone noticing because he is a spy. He got the information that the students are meant to participate in a cooking competition and the principal was gonna be the judge. This lead Loid to take is family on a vacation so they can learn how to prepare the food the principal loves the most.
While on the journey, Anya's curiosity kicks in, leading her and her dog to a place where a hidden treasure is found. This treasure is in the form of chocolate, but in the chocolate is the microchip the militant needs to start a war.
Before Anya could leave the storage room where the chocolate was kept, she encountered some militant who got taken down by her mom when they tried to take her away.
There vacation was going smoothly until they were unable to get an ingredient that will be used for their food. Since Loid couldn't get the last recipe needed, Anya dog could see the future, Anya could read mind so she saw where the last recipe was from her dog's memory. The adventurous Anya decided to go get it herself since her dad won't take her along unknown to them that the military was looking for her.
Things happened so fast, and Anya was taken hostage by the militant, which led Loid and his wife, who is an assassin, to go look for their daughter. One of the plots I love about the spy family is that they all have their own secrets. I would rate this show 8/10 because it is enjoyable, it has every bit of what a normal anime would have. The graphics, cinematography, music, sounds, storyline were just perfect.
I would highly recommend this for anyone who have start and haven't started watching anime. You would love it.

This is an anime that has caused some commotion in the last few years, I didn't have much faith in it at the beginning, but due to the popularity it had when it was released, I decided to watch it... And the truth, even though I thought it was going to be something cliché, because I felt that those typical formulas were already repeated over and over again, but it really ended up being something I didn't expect... the first thing that caught my attention was the premise: an elite spy has to form a fake family to fulfill his mission... it sounds like a nonsense comedy, or at least that's what I thought at first, but it ended up working wonderfully. And the chemistry between the characters is just great.
Loid, our spy protagonist, is that typical character that maybe can be seen as the typical indestructible cool guy, but in reality he has moments of quite clumsiness and emotional vulnerability, that is, he is not a perfect spy as they want to make him look... and I think this is exactly what makes him so endearing... Obviously we have to talk, of course, about the real “protagonist”... the little girl Anya ended up stealing many hearts, and she is really very tender and endearing. Obviamente tenemos que hablar, por supuesto, de la verdadera "protagonista".. la pequeña niña Anya terminó robando muchos corazones, y es que, en realidad, es muy tierna y entrañable. I think it's a pretty difficult balance to strike, but one that this series, surprisingly, does it in a very easy way... another thing I really appreciated about this story is that it has no gratuitous fanservice, in a time where it seems like almost every anime needs to throw in a few unnecessary moments of ecchi by force, it's really refreshing to see an anime that really relies on its story and characters to hook the viewer. It doesn't need to put the wife, Yor, as some sort of sexual beacon to entice virgins to watch the series just for her, this is not the case at all....
And justly, speaking of Yor, she is one of my favorite characters... at first I thought she wouldn't contribute much to the plot, but she ended up having some amazing moments to shine. Her work as an assassin adds another layer of fun, but also seriousness to the whole family dynamic, and all her attempts to be a good mother and wife are really adorable.. i think just this, with the pacing the story plays out at and the various mini-missions, are really nice things to see.

What I liked most about Spy x Family is how it manages to make a series for all audiences in the best sense of the word, it's fun and light for those looking for calmer entertainment or a family plot, but it also has its good doses of depth and action for those who want something more. It's the kind of series you can watch with your family or simply recommend it to someone who likes either of these two things, and they will surely end up with a good impression. This series nicely combines comedy, action and family drama in an interesting way, it's refreshing, funny and surprisingly captivating.... It makes you laugh a lot and there are many situations that leave you with a feeling of wanting to be a parent or take care of little Anya. I think for otaku families or otaku parents it can be a heart hugger for this series.

Since I read the article of @ayami-haya here a few weeks ago about the review of spy x family, it makes me mire urge to wtach it later and I had added it ro my watchlist and I was waiting for a free time throughout the week to watch it when I saw it, it was quite satisfactory that it's first season has only 12 episodes so, I started watching and I was only able to watch only 8 episodes till now and hopefully I will complete its two seasons within a week. The character of Yor is so interesting that i couldn't leave myself from making a fanart of the thorn princess.

First I was eager to make both versions of the thorn probcess (Yor) the family version and assassin version but later ended on this popular action pose which she used to ware on many scenes where she is seen as a killer.
Started by simple sketching with a lead pencil which is removable so, in any case Iake a mistake so I can remove it and alter the shape.
I usually start painting anything from the lightest colour so, in this case skin colour was most bright so I painted them first.
Then, boty thorns , the needle in the hairband as well as both golden roses are a sign of elegance.The ponytails are so unique in the case of Yor, they really add it into the beauty.
Finally, I make the gown and black long boots which are themself so uniform looking, She is ready for actionand so dangerous assassin only those know who had watched it.
It is the last image before making it outlined all colours are done 💯. Making shdes after completing the early stage paint was a bit easy but so satisfying.

Why Yor: Actually I'm more into action personalities and as we know she is such a skilled assassin as well as full of action but still she is good mother and powerful as well these things makes me urged to make a fanart if Yor.

Overall this is a comedy and action story. We have the part of Twilight's secret missions as a good spy in the style of James Bond , being the best of his guild, managing to be successful in his missions in effective ways. On the other hand, there is also the secret life of Yor, who being an assassin, of course also has a lot of constant action, from the planning to the execution of her work. In these aspects we have the action, which is the most entertaining part of the story since it is generated quickly and directly to the point. Of course, it is not a super elaborated plot, in fact it is even absurd due to its comic content, so you should not expect a great story behind the missions or the murders. They are quite simple but very fun to watch.
But obviously the predominant factor is comedy. The missions and other situations in which the Forger family is involved are too absurd, so when imagining a spy of the highest rank doing, for example, missions to play a game of tennis or the same mission of looking for a fake family, it's funny to say the least.
Still, it is a story that despite its simplicity is well developed. The pace is fast, it has a clear structure and the characters are very well done to be simple, funny and affable. I think in the end you end up getting attached to everyone, even the ones who are supposed to be the bad guys. Everyone has a past, some of them sad, and they all evolve as the story progresses. But most importantly, everyone will make you smile.
My favorite character is probably the most famous of all, Anya. She is a girl with a strong character, persevering, resilient, funny and very sweet. She's too adorable not to fall in love with her right away. She is the spark of the entire anime. Sometimes she is so innocent that she gets involved in the most complicated situations just because she thought that she would help with something. Good intentions but few resources 😅.
But of course, that secret power that she keeps will be very important for the mission, since it gives her an advantage in many ways. In general, all the characters have a specific purpose, none of them are fillers. Although Anya is always the one who stands out. I just love that character.
It is a very light story that can be easy entertainment for anyone. The sense of humor is simple but effective, so if you are looking for an anime that is short, easy to watch and to have some relaxed entertainment that simply allows you to disconnect for a while without thinking too much, Spy x Family is one of the best options. It also has two seasons, the first with 25 chapters, the second with only 12 chapters apart from a movie. So it's a pretty short anime.
The characters are endearing, the story itself is very sweet and there is no shortage of laughs. I honestly needed a story like this to convey that innocence and relaxation to me. Watching Anya be a regular girl in a spy movie setting has become my favorite thing to watch at the end of the day.

Hace bastante tiempo varias personas me habían recomendado éste anime y sinceramente hasta hace muy poco tiempo lo había ignorado. No a propósito, simplemente habían otros animes que me lllamaban más la atención. Pero debí haber hecho caso antes porque resultó ser justo el tipo de historia que quería ver.

Sinopsis
El agente Twilight pertenece al equipo de inteligencia WISE encargados de mantener la paz entre los gobiernos de los países de Westails y Ostania. Para ello, le es asignada una misión la cual consiste en mantener contacto cercano con un reconocido político para así poder garantizar la paz entre los países. Sin embargo, esto implica infiltrarse como civil en actividades que involucren al político, por lo que Twilight adopta la identidad de Loid Forger y para hacer la farsa más creíble deberá formar una familia común, como la de cualquier persona.
Es así como Loid contacta a una pequeña niña llamada Anya y a una mujer de nombre Yor Briar para que interpreten el papel de su hija y su esposa. Lo que ninguno de los tres se imaginan es que cada uno guarda en secreto sus verdaderas identidades...
En general esta es una historia de comedia y acción. Tenemos la parte de las misiones secretas de Twilight como buen espía al estilo de James Bond, siendo el mejor de los de su gremio, logrando ser exitoso en sus misiones de maners eficaz. Por otro lado también está la vida secreta de Yor, quien siendo una asesina pues por supuesto también tiene mucha acción constante, desde la planificación hasta la ejecución de su trabajo. En esos aspectos tenemos la acción que es la parte más entretenida de la historia puesto que se genera de manera rápida y directo al grano. Claro, no es una trama súper elaborada, de hecho es hasta absurda por su contenido cómico, por lo que no debe esperarse una gran historia detrás de las misiones o los asesinatos. Son bastantes sencillos pero muy divertidos de ver.
Pero obviamente el factor predominante es la comedia. Las misiones y demás situaciones en las que se ve implicada la familia Forger son demasiado absurdas, por lo que al imaginar a un espía del más alto rango haciendo por ejemplo misiones de jugar un partido de tenis o la misma misión de buscar una familia falsa, resulta cuanto menos gracioso.
Aún así es una historia que a pesar de su simpleza está bien desarrollada. El ritmo es rápido, tiene una estructura clara y los personajes están muy bien hechos para ser sencillos, graciosos y afables. Creo que al final te terminas encariñando con todos, incluso con los que se supone que son los chicos malos. Todos tienen un pasado, algunos algo triste, y todos van evolucionando a medida que avanza la historia. Pero lo más importante, todos que sacarán una sonrisa.
Mi personaje favorito probablemente sea el más famoso de todos, Anya. Es una niña con carácter fuerte, perseverante, resiliente, graciosa y muy dulce. Es demasiado adorable como para no enamorarse de ella de inmediato. Es la chispa de todo el anime. A veces es tan inocente que se involucra en las situaciones más complicadas sólo porque pensaba que así ayudaría en algo. Buenas intenciones pero pocos recursos 😅.
Pero claro, ese poder secreto que ella guarda será de mucha importancia para la misión, puesto que le da ventaja en muchos sentidos. En general, todos los personajes tienen un propósito específico, ninguno está por relleno. Aunque Anya siempre es la que destaca. Simplemente me encanta ese personaje.
Es una historia muy ligera que puede ser de entretenimiento fácil para cualquier persona. El sentido del humor es simple pero efectivo, por lo que si buscas un anime que sea corto, fácil de ver y para tener algo de entretenimiento relajado que simplemente te permita desconectar un rato sin pensar demasiado, Spy x Family es una de las mejores opciones. Además cuenta con dos temporadas, la primera de 25 capítulos, la segunda de sólo 12 capítulos aparte de una película. Así que es un anime bastante corto.
Los personajes son entrañables, la historia en sí misma es muy dulce y las risas no faltan. Honestamente necesitaba una historia como ésta que me transmitiera esa inocencia y relajación. Ver a Anya ser una niña común en un ambiente de película de espías se ha convertido en mi cosa favorita para ver al final del día.

When I first saw the trailer I got very excited because of their music that drum rolling in the background is just awesome. I can fully get the vibe of spy show.

There is a well known spy his name is Loid Forger he needs a family as part of his undercover mission. That is the reason he decides to marry a city hall worker her name is Yor and also adopts a child, that child’s name is Anya and also takes a dog. This family has secrets of their own. Loid is a spy but no one knows also his wife Yor is an undercover assassin moreover, his child Anya has the ability of reading minds which means telepathy the most shocking is when his dog also has a ability to tell the future. All these four are supposed to bond together as a family to save the world from dangers.
Spy x Family manages to combine its spy-centric story with an excellence characters who are struggling to fit in and make up a family. The way the plot explores it is truly amazing I have never seen this kind of anime before because the story is totally different than any other animes. Each person of the newly created Forger Family has come with their oddity and power that are being used to craft the anime’s charm and there are 12 episodes in season 1. In this anime every character is coming up with a situation and has a different goal. Loid just wants to focus on completing his mission and Anya just wants to have a family who would love and care for her, while Yor wants to continue to work in secret.
I love the cuteness of Anya she pretends that she does not know about what her parents job is she also tries to help them out when they are in trouble but without letting them know. She is also keeping her powers secret from them because she does not want them to abandon her and she does not want to feel lonely again. Finally she has found a loving family who loves her very much so at any cost she does not want to lose them.
At first Loid had no feelings for Anya but gradually his feelings started to grow for her and became emotional also later on he started to fall for Yor. There are sometimes romantic scenes between them and I blush a lot. But I like how as a woman Yor is not weak but a fine assassin who can take care of herself also can protect Anya from any kind of danger.
Yor also stays calm and never lets Loid find out her being professional in fighting she just pretends that she is very simple but she in real is like a fire! I truly love each character in this anime. Anya knows everyone’s secret but no one knows about her special powers.
Anya is very naughty just like other kids and sometimes stubborn I like it when she does those things. Also, the dog is adorable it’s fluffy and cute. The dog can see the future which helps Anya to stay alert about what’s gonna happen. I think Loid is very lucky to have them as his family members, like he can complete his missions successfully in this way even though he does not own those powers but he has those peoples by his side who has the special powers.

I love everything about Spy X Family. Each characters are very loveable. The anime is better than the manga. They have really brought the characters to live. The animation is great, honestly the story is cute, funny & wholesome. I love everyone’s bonding how they all care for each other and tries to protect them at any cost.

This anime is a fabulous one and I recommend you all to try this anime for once. Because I am sure once you start watching you can’t stop yourself from watching the next one.

However, this is no easy task, which is why there are intelligence groups dedicated to avoid, at all costs, any armed conflict, the WISE agency is one of them and among its ranks is one of the most capable spies in the world, the agent Twilight.

When the threat of a possible imbalance of peace between the countries of Ostania and Westalis, reaches the ears of WISE, they immediately decide to put their best agent in charge of the operation Strix, which aims to approach a known political leader to find out his plans and if they represent a threat, to stop them. Now all is apparently well on the Strix mission, however, Twilight is unaware that his fake daughter is a telepath who knows all his secrets and that his wife is an assassin for hire known as Torn Princess.
The first thing I'll say about this series is that I was really surprised. Despite having seen how popular it was, I had no idea what it was about, so I thought it was a Violet Evergarden type anime, all emotional, almost a slice of life. And while I have nothing against that genre, honestly, they're just not my thing, so Spy x Family was put off for a long time, until last week when I finally got around to watching it and as I said above, I was surprised by how incredibly funny and crazy it is. What I assumed would be a drama ended up being one of the funniest comedies I've seen in recent months.
The series combines three very different characters and makes them members of a completely dysfunctional family, in which each one seeks to protect their secrets, which are not few, as well as look after their personal interests, which puts them in hilarious situations that made me laugh more than once while watching it. The characters are very well worked and as the episodes go by we get to know them and become attached to them. Although there is still a lot to tell about the three of them, what we have seen is enough to create the necessary empathy in the viewer to make us want them all to do well and remain the most dysfunctional family in Westalis/Ostania.
Reading the synopsis of Spy x Family, one might suspect that this is a spy thriller, but nothing could be further from the truth. Although it has its serious moments, most of the time we see the characters going through absurd situations that are in complete contrast to the supposed mission of keeping the peace between the two countries. Many everyday things, such as a visit to an aquarium, a "couples" outing for a few drinks or a tennis match, are taken to a crazy and unnecessary, but hilarious extreme, showing us that even everyday life can be interesting if you are a super spy, a hired assassin and a telepath.
One of the things I liked most is the whole world they create within the series, in which two neighbouring countries find themselves in an eternal conflict, something that is evidently inspired by the divided Germany of the Cold War. This gives the series a familiar context, in which not too much explanation is necessary, thus giving us the possibility to extrapolate the story and assume that it is similar to the reality of our world, without the need for too much explanation. I thought this was clever, as it allows us, as viewers, to quickly establish the context in which the anime takes place, without the need to see it explicitly depicted.
Animation and Music
There is no doubt that one of the highlights of Spy x Family is the animation, which is done by WIT, one of today's most renowned studios, and in this series you can see why they have such a reputation. The character designs are extremely appealing and, in some cases, cute. There were perhaps a few moments that made me squint a little, but nothing that Anya's fabulous and hilarious faces can't fix.
The openings and endings are fabulous and although I found the first two to be better than the last two, I certainly enjoyed all four and left them in almost every episode, except for the ones that ended in a cliffhanger (like the tennis ones, what a crazy episode). They have a relaxed and carefree pace that blends perfectly with the comic and chaotic atmosphere of the series, and are accompanied by some funny and witty animation sequences, in which we see a little more of the characters and their daily lives.
So far I've only seen the first season and I honestly regret not having done it before, as I really enjoyed these 25 chapters. So if you are one of the few who haven't given this anime a chance, I assure you it's worth it. Now I just have to wait for the second season to be finished to give it the marathon it surely deserves.

Sin embargo, esto no es tarea fácil, es por ello que existen grupos de inteligencia dedicados a evitar, a toda costa, cualquier conflicto armado, la agencia WISE es una de ellas y entre sus filas cuenta con uno de los espías más capaces del mundo, el agente Twilight.
Cuando la amenaza de un posible desequilibrio de la paz entre los paísees de Ostania y Westalis, llega a oídos de WISE, inmediatamente deciden poner a su mejor agente a cargo de la operación Strix, la cual tiene como finalidad acercase a un conocido líder político para averiguar sus planes y en caso de representar una amenaza, detenerlos. Para ello, el agente Twilight debe transformarse en un padre de familia ejemplar e infiltrarse en una famosa escuela conocida Academia Edén, donde podrá tener acceso privilegiado a mucha información, pero sobre todo a Dominic Desmond, el líder político que amenaza la paz de los dos países.
El primer paso de Twilight para cumplir su misión es asumir la identidad de Loid Forger, un apacible Psiquiatra del hospital de Berlint. Lo siguiente es conseguir una hija, la cual acudirá a Eden y le dará acceso a los padres de los demás niños. Para ello se dirige a un orfanato, donde conoce y adopta a la pequeña Anya, una traviesa pero aparentemente brillante niña, que "fácilmente" pasa el primer filtro de la Academia Edén. Sin embargo, la misión se complica cuando la escuela solicita una entrevista con los padres de la niña, ambos padres.
Es así como el siguiente paso a seguir es encontrar a una esposa para él y una madre "sustituta" para Anya, la cual por suerte prácticamente toca a la puerta de Twilight. De esta forma hace aparición Yor Briar, una joven que busca desesperadamente casarse para evitar la preocupación de su familia y el hostigamiento de la policía, ella llegará para completar a la familia Forger. Ahora todo marcha aparentemente bien en la misión Strix, sin embargo, Twilight ignora que su hija falsa es una telépata que conoce todos sus secretos y que su esposa es una asesina a sueldo conocida como Torn Princess.
Lo primero que voy a decir de esta serie es que me sorprendió muchísimo. A pesar de haber visto cuán popular era, no tenía ni idea de qué se trataba, así que pensaba que era un anime tipo Violet Evergarden, todo emotivo, casi un slice of life. Y aunque no tengo nada en contra de ese género, sinceramente, no son lo mío, por lo que Spy x Family fue pospuesto durante mucho tiempo, hasta la semana pasada que por fin me animé a verla y como dije arriba, me sorprendió por lo increíblemente divertida y alocada que es. Lo que yo supuse que sería un drama, terminó siendo una comedia de las más graciosas que he visto en los últimos meses.
La serie combina a tres personajes tan diferentes entre sí y los hace miembros de una familia completamente disfuncional, en la cual cada quien busca proteger sus secretos, que no son pocos, además de cuidar de sus intereses personales, lo cual los pone en situaciones hilarantes que me hicieron soltar más de una carcajada mientras la veía. Los personajes están muy bien trabajados y con el paso de los episodios los vamos conociendo y encariñándonos con ellos. Si bien, aún hay mucho que contar sobre los tres, lo que se ha visto es suficiente para crear la empatía necesaria en el espectador como para que deseemos de todos les salga bien y que sigan siendo la familia más disfuncional de Westalis/Ostania.
Al leer la sinopsis de Spy x Family, quizás podríamos tener la sospecha de que se trata de un thriller de espías, pero no hay nada más alejado de la realidad. Aunque tiene sus momentos serios, la mayoría del tiempo vemos a los personajes pasar por situaciones absurdas que contrastan por completo con la supuesta misión de mantener la paz entre los dos países. Muchas cosas cotidianas, como una visita a un acuario, una salida en "pareja" por unas copas o un partido de tenis, son llevados a un extremo alocado e innecesario, pero sumamente gracioso, mostrándonos que hasta la cotidianidad puede ser interesante si eres un super espía, una asesina a sueldo y una telépata.
Una de las cosas que más me gustó es todo el mundo que crean dentro de la serie, en el cual dos países vecinos se encuentran en un eterno conflicto, algo que está evidentemente inspirado en la Alemania dividida de la guerra fría. Esto le brinda a la serie un contexto familiar, en el que no es necesaria demasiada explicación, con ello nos dan la posibilidad de extrapolar la historia y asumir que es similar a la realidad de nuestro mundo, sin que hagan falta demasiadas explicaciones. Me pareció algo inteligente, ya que nos permite, como espectadores, establecer rápidamente el contexto en el que se desarrolla el anime, sin la necesidad de verlo explícitamente representado.
No cabe duda que uno de los aspectos más destacados de Spy x Family es su animación, la cual es realizada por el estudio WIT, uno de los más reconocidos de la actualidad, y en esta serie se puede ver por qué gozan de dicha reputación. El diseño de los personajes es sumamente atractivo y, en algunos casos, tierno. Quizás hubo algunos momentos que me hicieron entrecerrar un poco los ojos, pero nada que las fabulosas y chistosísimas caras de Anya no puedan solucionar.
Los opening y los ending son fabulosos y aunque los dos primeros me parecieron mejores que los dos últimos, sin duda disfruté los cuatro y los dejé en casi todos los episodios, excepto en aquellos que terminaban en un cliffhanger (como los del tenis, vaya locura de capítulos). Tienen un ritmo relajado y despreocupado que compagina a la perfección con la atmósfera cómica y caótica de la serie, además van acompañados con unas secuencias de animación divertidas y ocurrentes, en las cuales vemos un poco más de los personajes y su día a día.
Hasta ahora solo he visto la primera temporada y honestamente me arrepiento de no haberlo hecho antes, ya que disfruté mucho estos 25 capítulos. Así que si son de los pocos que no le han dado una oportunidad a este anime, les aseguro que vale la pena. Ahora solo me queda esperar a que finalice la segunda temporada para darle el maratón que seguramente merece.

Hello to all the participants that make this amazing community #TheAnimeRealm so great. Today I leave here my second post about an anime that I liked and want to recommend to you. It's called Spy x Family and here's my opinion about it.
What is Spy x Family about? Well as the title says, it's about a family that can be considered to be spies, but for a better synopsis, without giving you spoilers I prefer to quote it directly from Crunchyroll:
Everyone has a part of themselves that cannot be shown to others. In an era when nations worldwide are engaged in a fierce information war behind closed doors, Ostania and Westalis have been at a cold war for decades. The Westalis Intelligence Division (WISE) sends its top spy, "Twilight," on a top-secret mission to monitor the movements of Donovan Desmond, who heads Ostania's National Unity Party, responsible for bombing peace efforts between the two countries.
The reason why this "family" is created is mostly to avoid a war between Ostania and Westalis. I liked it because it is a story full of a lot of comedy and drama, but more comedy.
I understand that the series is more advanced in the manga than in the anime. Currently, the series has two seasons of 12 chapters each, with a duration of approximately 24 minutes. However, a third season is expected to premiere soon, if I am not mistaken the first chapter will be released on October 7 this year.
The characters in this series are particularly funny and quite iconic. Each one of them has its special touch that brings a high range of quality to the series as the story progresses. But I'm going to talk about the three main characters so that I won't spoil the series and you can watch it without any problems.
He is the main character of the series and is the secret agent who calls himself "Twilight". He was assigned the most important mission of his life to prevent a possible war in the future. Therefore he must infiltrate and make direct contact with the villain himself, the one who is carrying out a plot. But for this infiltration, he needs a family, so he has no choice but to invent one to accomplish his mission.
What can I tell you about Yor. Well, the first thing I can tell you is that she is a single girl, twenty-seven years old I think, that for her age, according to her friends and her younger brother, she should already be married. However she hasn't because she's hiding a secret: she's an assassin, something like a hitman hahaha, but pretends to lead a normal life and pretend to be a calm, responsible, and kind person.
She is my favorite character, she is an amazing girl and just like Yor Briar she hides a secret: she can read people's minds*. This character is one of the first ones that Loid Forger looks for to form his "family" and I find quite funny the expressions that the girl has when she listens to what people think when she has them close to her. She's my favorite because she has a very funny personality that I can relate to, she takes things to heart and she's afraid they'll stop loving her if they find out she's psychic.
Well as a general opinion I want to start by saying that the series for me is a 10/10, because it has fun, with quite funny moments that make you laugh a lot (although not as much as Full Metal Panic Fumoffu), but it reminds me a lot of its style, which makes it special for me, since it is one of the series that has made me laugh the most since I've been watching anime and Spy x Family has this same vibe.
Apart from that it became special to me because I started watching it right after finishing the second season of Made in Abyss (the TRAUMA! 😱). And it's just that watching Spy x Family got my spirits up right from the start. And I'm pretty excited waiting for the premiere of its third season.
I like this series and I recommend it because it is original and has an out-of-place tone that makes it different from the other series I have seen. It is interesting to see the development of each character and how their relationship progresses as the series progresses.
I'm intrigued by the plot as it left me wanting to see more of this peculiar family that started as a mission but is getting stronger as a real family, and Loid saw them only as part of a mission but as the series progresses it gets more and more involved showing its more human side.
While Yor only seeks to cover up appearances to continue doing her job as an assassin without arousing suspicion. And Anya, she only wants to be loved and not used, so she decides to help her "parents" no matter what. She is the only one who knows the secret of both of them and it is quite funny to see the situations that arise between the three of them.
I also love it because the series is full of tenderness, humor and action. The relationship that started looking for their benefit these three people and the evolution of each one in each chapter catches the viewer.

Buenas a todos los participantes que hacen genial esta increíble comunidad #TheAnimeRealm. Hoy less dejo por aquí mi segunda publicación sobre un animé que me gustó bastante y que les quiero recomendar. Tiene por nombre Spy x Family y aquí les dejo mi opinión sobre ésta.
¿De qué trata Spy x Family? Bueno como lo dice el título, es de una familia que se puede considerar que es espía, pero para una mejor sinopsis, sin tener que darles spoiler prefiero citarla directamente de Crunchyroll:
Todo el mundo tiene una parte de sí misma que no puede mostrarse a los demás. En una era en la que las naciones de todo el mundo se encuentran involucradas en una feroz guerra de información a puerta cerrada, Ostania y Westalis llevan décadas en guerra fría. La División de Inteligencia de Westalis (WISE) envía a su mejor espía, "Crepúsculo", en una misión ultrasecreta para vigilar los movimientos de Donovan Desmond, quien dirige el Partido Nacional por la Unidad de Ostania, responsable de bombardear los esfuerzos de paz entre ambos países.
La razón por la cuál se crea esta "familia" es más que todo para evitar una guerra entre Ostania y Westalis. A mi la verdad me gustó mucho porque es una historian llena de mucha comedia y drama, pero más comedia.
Tengo entendido que la serie va más adelantada en el manga que en el animé. Actualmente la serie posee dos tempoaradas de 12 capítulos cada una, con una duración de 24 minutes cada capítulo aproximadamente. Sin embargo, se espera el estreno de una tercera temporada pronto, si no me equivoco el primer capítulo será estrenado el 7 de octubre de este año.
Los personajes que posee esta serie son particularmente graciosos y bastante icónicos. Cada uno de ellos tiene su toque especial que le aporta un alto rango de calidad a la serie a medida que avanza la historia, Pero voy a hablarle de los tres personajes principales para no hacerles tanto spoiler de la serie y la vean sin problemas.
Él es el personaje principal de la serie y es el agente secreto que se hace llamar "Crepúsculo". Le asignaron la misión más importante de su vida para evitar una posible guerra a future. Por lo tanto debe infiltrarse y hacer contacto directo con el villano en sí, aquel que está llevando a cabo un complot. Pero para dicha infiltración necesita una familia, así que no le queda más que inventarse una para cumplir con su misión.
¿Qué les puedo decir de Yor?. Pues lo primero que les puedo decir es que ella es una chica soltera, de veintisiete años creo, que para su edad, según sus amistades y su hermano menor, ya debería estar casada. Sin embargo ella no lo ha hecho porque oculta un secreto: es una asesina, algo así como un sicario jajaja, pero finge llevar una vida normal y aparentar que es una persona tranquila, responsable y amable.
Ella es mi personaje favorite, es una niña increíble y al igual que Yor Briar oculta un secreto: puede leer la mente de las personas. Y es que este personaje es uno de los primero que busca Loid Forger para formar su "familia" y se me hace bastante divertido las expresiones que tiene la niña al escuchar lo que piensan las personas cuando las tiene cerca. Es mi favorite porque tiene una personalidad muy divertida con la cual me identifico mucho, se toma las cosas a pecho y tiene miedo de que dejen de quererla si descubren que es psíquica.
Bueno como opinión general quiero empezar diciendo que la serie para mi es un 10/10, porque tiene diversión, con momentos bastante gracisosos que te hacen reír mucho (aunque no tanto como Full Metal Panic Fumoffu), pero me recuerda bastante su estilo, lo que lo hace especial para mí, ya que es una de las series que más me ha hecho reir desde que vengo viendo animé y Spy x Family tiene esta misma onda.
Aparte que se me hizo especial porque la empecé a ver justo después de terminar la segunda temporada de Made in Abyss (el TRAUMA! 😱). Y es que ver Spy x Family me subió los ánimos desde el principio. Y estoy bastante entusiasmada esperando el estreno de su tercera temporada.
Me gusta bastante esta serie y te la recomiendo porque es totalmente original y tiene un tono como fuera de lugar que la hace diferente a las demás series que me he visto. Es interesante ver el desarrrollo de cada personaje y cómo avanza su relación a media que progresa la serie.
A mi me tiene intrigada la trama ya que me dejó con ganas de ver más de esta peculiar familia que empezó como una misión pero se está fortaleciendo como una verdadera familia, y es que Loid las veía sólo como parte una misión pero a medida que avanza la serie se involucra cada vez más mostrando su parte más humana.
Mientras que Yor sólo busca cubrir las apariencias para continuar haciendo su trabajo como asesina sin levantar sospechas. Y Anya, pues ella sólo busca que la quieran y no la usen, así que decide ayudar a sus "padres" a como de lugar. Ella es la única que conoce el secreto de ambos y es bastante gracioso ver las situaciones que se presentan entre ellos tres.
También me encanta porque la serie está llena de mucha ternura, humor y acción. La relación que empezó buscando un beneficio propio entre estas tres personas y ver la evolución de cada uno en cada capítulo, de verdad que atrapa al espectador.

The first thing I'm going to say is that I didn't watch what I thought I would, I knew this anime had some fame and had won the hearts of many fans, but due to time issues I didn't watch it when it was released. So I decided to give it a chance despite having a long list of anime to watch and little availability, but something told me that I could spend a good time since the genre is not the one I usually watch and I needed to reboot myself mentally, maybe you are also one of those who are saturated with always watching the same thing.
What I imagined was an anime in which a family was dedicated to solve missions through espionage and the truth is not far from that, but the configuration is different, here we find real spy who would be the father, while the other members of the family do a complementary work almost without consent, well, at least it is the case of who performs the role of wife.
Lo primero que voy a decir es que no vi lo que pensé que vería, sabía que este anime tenía cierta fama y que se había ganado el corazón de muchos fans, pero por temas de tiempo no lo vi cuando fue estrenado. Es así que decidí darle una oportunidad a pesar de tener una larga lista de anime por ver y poca disponibilidad, pero algo me decía que podría pasar un buen tiempo ya que el género no es el que suelo ver y necesitaba reiniciarme mentalmente, quizá también eres de los que se saturan con ver siempre lo mismo.
Lo que me imaginaba era un anime en el que una familia se dedicaba a resolver misiones a través del espionaje y la verdad no está muy lejos de eso, pero la configuración es diferente, aquí nos encontramos con espía real que sería el padre, mientras que los otros miembros de la familia hacen un trabajo complementario casi sin consentimiento, bueno, por lo menos es el caso de quien realiza el papel de esposa.

Lo anterior lo digo ya que a pesar de que la "hija", quien es adoptada a conveniencia de la misión, no debería saber nada al respecto, pero parte de la premisa de esta historia es que la niña es especial, puede leer las mentes de las personas así que siempre sabe todo lo que sucede a su alrededor y de allí se desencadenan una serie de situaciones que son más cómicas que otra cosa, porque si, a pesar de que parece ser un anime de espías me parece que es más un anime de comedia.
Por otra parte, la esposa, es una asesina a sueldo que busca una pareja para tratar de mantener las apariencias y continuar sigilosamente sus labores, pero en la vida real es una mujer tímida, torpe y con algunos problemas para socializar, cosa que también hace gracia en las interacciones que mantienen los miembros de esta familia atípica.
Taking into account the above mentioned, I do not think it is a bad premise, I think the essence of this story lies in the attempt of a spy to fulfill a mission at all costs, but involved in the problems of having a fake daughter who can read minds and a fake wife who has a job as a hired assassin, all of them having to keep their secrets safe and I think that's the fun of it all.
In particular, I wish it was less comic and with more action, but this is just a comment, the anime is fine as it is and that's why it has been successful. The differences it establishes with the rest is remarkable, the situations that are generated in circumstances as complex as those of this "family" make this a fun and good series to pass the time.
Tomando en cuenta lo anterior que menciono, no me parece una mala premisa, creo que la esencia de esta historia radica en el intento de un espía de cumplir una misión a toda costa, pero envuelto en la problemática de tener una hija falsa que puede leer las mentes y de una esposa falsa que tiene un trabajo de asesina a sueldo, teniendo todos ellos que mantener sus secretos a salvo y creo que allí esta lo divertido de todo esto.
En lo particular, me gustaría que fuera menos cómico y con más acción, pero este solo es un comentario, el anime está bien como esta y por eso ha tenido éxito. Las diferencias que establece con el resto es notable, las situaciones que se generan en circunstancias tan complejas como las de esta "familia" hacen de ésta una serie divertida y buena para pasar el rato.

Qui consiste a rencontré le dirigeant du bloc adverse et maintenir la paix soit en s'alliant soit le tuant suivant la situation, pour cela il dois ce constituer une nouvelle identité et une famille.
Sa nouvelle identité sera donc:
Loid Forger ( Roido Fōjā dans la version Jap d'origine )
Pour crée sa fausse famille, il va dans orphelinat adopté une enfant sans nom, dans un orphelinat douteux dons l'état ne sais même qui sont les enfant ici.
Il adopte la petite qu'il nomme Anya Forger
Cette dernière et considère comme bizarre par l'orphelinat, en effet cette dernière et télépathe et ne veux le dire a personne vue qu'elle as été abandonné par ses vraie parent pour ce motif, ce qui fait que la petite sais que son faux père et un espion sans le lui dire.
Il ce trouve ensuite une fausse femme qui es lui propose de elle même de ce marié car sa l'arrange, dans cette univers une femme non marié et souvent torturé pour avouer être une espionne ennemie ( même si c'est faux ).
Yor Forger Yoru dans le version JAP d'origine
Cette dernière travaille le jours dans un bureaux de mairie en temps que simple secrétaire, mais la nuit et une espionne qui as pour mission de débusquer et tuer Twilight dont elle ne connais ni le nom ni le visage, elle ce retrouve donc marié a lui sans même le savoir.
Ce manga arrive a avoir une histoire politique sérieuse, de l'espionnage , des meurtre , a parlé de guerre froide, tout en ayant des situation très comique, surtout avec la petite au milieux qui sais que ses deux parent ce recherche pour ce tue mais ne peux rien dire car sa l'arrange elle même d'être dans une bonne école et manger à sa faim sans être dans un orphelinat douteux ou les enfant sont maltraité.
Como les mencione en mi post anterior contrate Crunchyroll para ver principalmente este anime y bueno no tener que andarme poniendo el parche de pirata para disfrutar de mis animes favoritos y es que este anime con sus apenas 6 capitulos en emisión se ha vuelto uno de mis animes favoritos.
Este anime es una gran sastifación de ver, lleno de ternura, comedia y un poco de acción (ya que abunda más que nada la comedia) donde un espia con el nombre de "Twilight" tiene que infiltrarse al pais enemigo (Ostania) y pasar como alguien de una familia corriente, para así acercarse a su objetivo, por lo que se hace pasar por Loid Forger, adoptar a una niña de nombre Anya que guarda el secreto de que puede leer la mente y termina casándose con Yor, que también tiene en secreto que ella es una asesina que prácticamente sin darse cuenta seria su enemiga pues trabaja como asesina por la estabilidad de su país Ostania
Con esa temática de espía casado con su "enemiga" me hace sentir que estoy viendo la pelicula Sr. & Sra. Smith en versión anime, pero, esa sensación termina al no pararme de carcajear con las ocurrencias de Anya que al ser una niña pequeña que con su capacidad de leer la mente, pero su gran inocencia termina confundiéndose.
Otra cosa que me hace reir mucho de este anime es que Loid Forger podra ser el mejor espia del mundo, pero la paternidad le está costando trabajo, sobretodo cuando tiene un plan para lograr su objetivo y Anya termina haciendo las cosas de forma diferente (como golpear al hijo de su objetivo por ser un pedante) y que además termina siendo "penalizada" por tal hecho
Para sus seis episodios, @lumpymoon y yo no podemos dejar de verlo y eso que a mi novia no le gusta ver animes en emisión por el hecho de andar esperando a que salgan los episodios, pero este nos ha encantado mucho. De hecho no sé si pueda aguantar, pero ya ando viendo en Panini que se están vendiendo los mangas de Spy x Family y tal vez termine animándome a comprarlos, pues están alrededor de 6 dólares cada tomo (aunque primero debo de completar mis otros mangas que ando comprando).
Si tienen la oportunidad, por favor veanlo, creo que les va a encantar y les dara mucha ternura ya sea en su doblaje original (subtitulado) o en su respectivo doblaje pues se me ha hecho un buen doblaje
With the ever-increasing influx of newest streaming services and their relentless attempts at grabbing viewership with an equally astonishing amount of new shows—I find myself having difficulties enjoying any new tv-show. I suspect, it has something to do with quality. Even when the pilot seems promising at first, it quickly descends into a familiar practice of dragging things on to the next episode.
Not only I'm picking up and dropping shows left and right, but I also don't look forward to watching the next episode in most cases, let alone waiting an entire week for a new one to release. Yes, I remember when I used to wait for a new episode from a much-anticipated show, such as Person of Interest, Preacher, or even Game of Thrones (the first 3/4 seasons) to be aired on TV.
The anime scene has been more or less stale for me as well, with hardly anything new to see. The reemergence of rehashed tropes in new packages is passable but hardly anything to be impressed with. And suddenly a few days ago, the internet seemed overflowed with memes from Spy x Family, a new anime tv show with just one episode released.
I have seen the first episode and waited the entire week for the second one to be released. I have felt the same yearning I used to feel. This is how you're supposed to make a TV show, I reckon.
Spy x Family is an action-comedy show, where a master spy is on a mission and to fulfill his alias to infiltrate the target organization, he must procure a wife and a child. He goes to a shady, questionable orphanage to adopt a child for the mission. The child, unbeknownst to him, is a telepath, a result of a failed experiment, who can read other people's thoughts. And this kickstarts a father-daughter relationship that is a source of comedy and also a pure delight.
Anya, the 5-year-old orphan, is a pure devil, who is excited 'knowing' her adopted father is a spy. She wants to go on a rampage with guns and bombs. However, our spy needs a wife too for the infiltration. And sensing the possibility that her non existent mother may turn out to be an assassin, Anya is super excited!
The anime is witty to say the least. The screenplay is well written, with the right amount of comedy, action blended together. Yet it is soothing at the same time as it oozes an euphoric aftertaste.
Two episodes have been aired so far, but I can already say, this is going to be one of my favorites.

Misson : 1/Episode 1 are fun. Indeed, Spy X Family anime deserves a lot of positive responses. Episode 1 felt so fast. I personally like Mission : 1 of the comic volume 1 more. But we'll see the next episodes of anime.

Spy x Family es un manga que tendrá una pronta adaptación anime, posiblemente en el 2022 sea su estreno, pero ya su fandom la está esperando con ansias. En donde deberá crear una familia con un hijo, que deberá acceder a una escuela de élite, donde mediante ella podrá hacer contacto con una persona peligrosa para la paz. Por suerte, en poco logrará conseguir una hija y una esposa, un tanto especiales. La niña Anya es una esper, una persona con capacidad de leer la mente y su esposa Yoru Forger, una chica que trabaja en el ayuntamiento, pero que esconde su verdadero oficio como asesina profesional. La historia si bien tiene partes de acción y sangre en varias partes, es principalmente cómica. Ya que los personajes al ocultar sus poderes u oficios, se generan diversas situaciones cómicas por todo el manga. Otro punto, es el personaje de Anya, que con su capacidad de leer mentes, permite crear nuevas soluciones a diversos problemas como generar comedia. A mi gusto, es el mejor personaje, y cuando la trama se aleja de ella, o se vuelve más de acción, pierde el interés y cae en tópicos ya muy vistos.
The story, although it has parts of action and blood in several parts, is mainly comic. Since the characters hide their powers or jobs, various comic situations are generated throughout the manga. Another point is the character of Anya, who with her ability to read minds, allows to create new solutions to various problems and generate comedy. To my taste, she is the best character, and when the plot moves away from her, or becomes more action-oriented, it loses interest and falls into clichés already seen.
En lo que se refiere al dibujo, no es un estilo que resalte demasiado, pero cumple. Al comienzo el manga, tiene capítulos bastante largos, pero con el avance de la historia se van acortando.
As far as the drawing is concerned, it is not a style that stands out too much, but it complies. At the beginning, the manga has quite long chapters, but as the story progresses, they become shorter.
Lo recomiendo a los que les interesa los mangas de comedia con familias un tanto peculiares.
I recommend it to those who are interested in comedy manga with peculiar families.

I love reading Manga, sometimes even more than their respective anime series. My favorite genre is the mainstream Shonen battle Manga. I read (almost) all the genres and I love a romantic comedy just as much.
So, I tend to find new Manga/Anime series to enjoy every few months. Earlier this year I was fascinated by Ascendance of a Bookworm, after that I read the manga of Kusuriya no Hitorigoto and my current new favorite is without a doubt: Spy x Family!
The Perfect Spy Manga
Spy x Family is a free Manga published bi-weekly on Shonen Jump Plus in Japan. MangaPlus is doing a simultaneous release in English. You can read all chapters for free here (at least for now.)
The story follows Twilight, the best spy in the agency who works to prevent a war between two conflicting neighbor nations. His most recent mission requires him to start a family and live a new life, in order to get close to his next target.
Now, assuming the identity of Loid Forger, he adopts Anya, a young girl who (unbeknownst to him) has telepathic powers. Since the school in which he has to meet the target requires both parents to be present, Loid marries Yor who's secretly a professional hitwoman, and she's using the marriage to hide that fact.
Thus starts the story of this made-up family as they work for their respective goals while hiding their secret identities from the world and each other. The story mainly follows the long term mission of using Anya's school enrollment to get close to the target but some chapters focus on side missions and the relationships between the characters.
The series is half comedy and half action/drama. It doesn't take itself too seriously but it doesn't use jokes for the sake of jokes either. All characters have deep motivations for the actions they do. Oh, and the manga touches about the harshness of war! A Lot!
A Lovely Dysfunctional Family
Loid being one of the best spies in the world, is a very powerful and intelligent person. He hides his work as Twilight by working as a psychiatric (a job who's really good at.) He's not above using questionable means to succeed the mission.
Loid is a master of disguise and is very cold person. He's an expert of faking emotions and only plays the role of the loving father/husband for the sake of the mission. This makes the moments where he genuinely cares about his family extra meaningful! As I read chapters of this manga it becomes clear how his fake role of the family is slowly becomes real.
One thing I love about Loid is how logical he is, and how the eccentricity of his wife and daughter turns every skill he learned as a spy upside down. I love how he would've completed the mission by now if he was working alone, but as he said, even with his powers of disguise he can't pass off as a child.
My favorite character of this manga is the daughter: Anya! She a brat! She's a young girl who ran from an experiment lab that gave her the telepathic ability to read minds. She loves a children spy show, which made her determined to make Loid adopt her.
After she realized her father's cool dream of the world peace, she decided to help him with the mission, (in her own childish way/without revealing her powers to him.) Anya's goal is to keep the family together even after the end of the mission.
What makes Anya my favorite, is that everything about her is fun! She is a hunter for amusement and the main reason the family is together because she thought it'll be fun! Her reactions as she reads the thoughts of her super spy father and assassin mother are masterpieces! Anya is also childish but as soon as you start get annoyed with her as a reader, she does something impressive that makes you anticipate her next move!
Anya's relationships with her classmates is as interesting to watch as her relationship with her perfect father and her eccentric mother.
The mother in the family is Yor Forger. (Formerly: Yor Briar.) She's a professional assassin who hides her real job by working at a public service office. Her brother advises her to find someone because being single at her age made people suspicious.
She meets Loid one day and asks him to play the role of her boyfriend, but things happen and they get married instead (which worked in the favor of both of them.) Loid isn't only supportive of her, but doesn't ask her about her personal life either.
Yor is kind of airhead and it's a miracle that her secret identity of being an assassin isn't discovered yet. (To be fair, the people closest to her won't believe it if they knew.) She genuinely believes that Anya is Loid's real daughter, and she loves the girl so much and tries her best to be a perfect step mother for her.
One of my favorite things about Yor is her super strength. She's stronger than the already super powerful Loid. Yor is also very bad at lying which makes it more unnatural that no one figured her secret identity yet. (Not that I mind.)
Fun Manga to Read!
All the family members play the role of the main character. Many chapters are focusing on either the spy life of Loid or the school life of his daughter Anya. There are of course chapters where the wife Yor is the main character, but I wish there were more of them.
Most of the other recurring characters in the manga. My favorite is Anya's classmate and the target's son: Damian. Also, Yor's younger brother Yuri, both are multi-layered characters who are fun to watch. I even consider Damian to be one of the main characters despite being on the antagonist's side.
I just caught up with this manga the other day, and it's one of the few works I wish to buy a physical book of one day, (others being BAKUMAN, and A Silent Voice.) It's also one of the few manga I read as soon as a new chapter is posted (the only other Manga I read this way is One Piece.) I'm glad I caught this game relatively early in its run!

The Title of the Movie is "Spy X Family: Code White."
If you are a fan of action, drama, adventure, love, and comedy anime, then this movie is for you.
I have watched the first and second season and I will highly recommend it to anyone but of you want to watch the movie, I will advice you watch the series first so you can understand some of the roles the characters play.
