There are a lot of mysterious things in our world, and one of them is magic. Do you believe in magic? Well, it's not that I reject its existence, but I don't really believe in most that practice them; however, there are some cases that made my disbelief in magic waver. Witches—witches are said to be beings that have magical powers that they can use either to help or curse. But are they real? I don't know, but growing up with some superstitious people made me believe they're somehow real.

    IMG_20250109_220530.jpg

Anyway, whether they are or not, the anime I've finished watching yesterday featured a world where magic and witches exist. Like in real life, they're also often subject to prejudice and persecution. Speaking of persecution, that's where our MCs come in because they're the ones who were tasked to protect and retrieve witches. Their intentions were unknown, but one thing is sure, and that is they're capable enough to do their missions. So with that, join me as Guideau and Ashaf travel across various lands to complete their missions and fulfill their intentions in The Witch and the Beast.

    About the Anime

    IMG_20250109_220545.jpg

The Witch and the Beast (Majo to Yajuu) is a seinen anime that premiered last winter of 2024. It aired from January 12, 2024, to April 5, 2024, and was animated by Yokohama Animation Laboratory. It's a 12-episode anime series that has action and fantasy. It featured witches, magical beings, and the battles that involved them, so naturally its themes are urban fantasy, gore, and adult casts. This is based on the on-hiatus manga that was written and illustrated by Kousuke Satake

    IMG_20250109_220600.jpg

In their world, witches are one of the beings that are mostly feared. With their beauty and power, they're often seen as a threat—a threat that most of the people wanted to eliminate. People regarded them as a villain, and some of the witches got fed up with that treatment, and, of 'course, they retaliated. That's where the Order of Magical Resonance—an organization that deals with any case that's connected to any forms of magic—comes in. They contain, retrieve, and even protect the witches they find, and among the people that worked under them are Ashaf and Guideau.

    IMG_20250109_220617.jpg

Forced to work with Ashaf to achieve his/her revenge for the witch that cursed him/her, Guideau mostly does the work that is related to beating. Since he/she is always hot-blooded and reckless, especially when they encounter cases involving witches, Ashaf usually keeps him/her in check. Even though their personalities are completely different, they are somewhat an oddly balanced pair, with Ashaf being the calm and rational one and Guideau the hot-blooded and reckless one. Together they've been solving cases related to magic—some connected with witches and some not.

    IMG_20250109_220804.jpg

They traveled across different continents to both do their work and find the witch who cursed Guideau. They're pretty used to those cases because they've been doing that for years, however, some of them are quite tacky to do because they involved other organizations that are certainly not friendly. It's a race to find and save the witches, and of 'course Ashaf and Guideau were not the type to give up. With the experience they've got from the years of retrieving them, they're pretty accustomed to how to contain them in the most convenient manner. However, as they travel towards their goal, there are more peculiar and perilous things that happen. Their world is sure full of mysteries and danger, and with that they need to brace themselves for anything that may come in their way.

    IMG_20250109_220718.jpg

Like the previous anime I've watched, its ending is definitely a cliffhanger, but this one is much more hanging. There are really a lot of things that I expected to be cleared at the last episode, but I guess they're saving it for the next season. Also, for me the plot isn't that new or out of the box, and some plot twists (or most of them) are predictable, but even though its plot turns out that way, I still felt the tension and excitement. The characters were not really well-introduced, which I find quite interesting because it adds to its mysteriousness.

    IMG_20250109_220641.jpg

There isn't much improvement in their characters, or perhaps their characters are already developed because it isn't the usual anime that begins with MCs meeting each other for the first time, for those two had already been partners for years. They already know each other well, and I know that at some time in those years they had been working together, they achieved improvement, though their present dilemmas seemed to challenge it. I know there is still a lot to uncover—especially Ashaf, who I really find suspicious. Rational and refined anime characters just don't sit right with me; I mean, there's surely a flaw in their character—one that would make them snap out.

    IMG_20250109_220733.jpg

So much for the characters; the pacing of the story was totally fine with me because it doesn't dillydally on trivial things that would just distract viewers from the main story. Well, except for that necromancy part—I mean, how those people are exactly connected to the MCs? And how they are supposed to be relevant to the main plot? Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching that arc, and its end was definitely satisfying.

    IMG_20250109_220953.jpg

The art style was undeniably one of the reasons why I watched this anime. Their pale skin and the gloomy settings really remind me of the vampire animes I've watched before, which I find brilliant because it somehow foreshadowed something that I somehow didn't see coming. Also, I really like their character designs because they really look cool and mature (especially Ashaf hehehe). Further, its studio didn't really shy away from showing blood and gore. Its animation and background music and effects really did well in delivering gripping scenes that are definitely enjoyable to watch. By and by, its soundtrack is also nice, especially the opening song which really sets the anticipation high with its catchy beat.

    IMG_20250109_220658.jpg

Overall, my personal rating for this anime is 8.9/10. I know there's definitely more of its lore and plot, and I'm really looking forward to it. Its last episode was indeed an effective way of making the viewers anticipate its next season, which I hope will be adapted soon. It ended in a promising way—and I'm totally up and looking forward to more Ashaf and Guideau missions! So if you're up for an engaging and gripping seinen anime with a fair share of mysteries and action, then let this review be your sign to watch The Witch and the Beast.

Before I end this review, I gladly share with you its trailer, so—

Hello anime lovers. Today I want to share with you my opinion about a Japanese anime series that my dear girlfriend @ale.maar wanted me to talk about. So I'm going to start - starting today - talking about anime I've seen this year (which are quite a few) so there's a lot of good content coming for the next weeks. This time I will tell you about one of the hidden gems that aired at the beginning of this 2024. A work of dark fantasy, adventure and suspense with impeccable style and quality. Based on the manga series written and illustrated by Kousuke Katake, this animated adaptation was produced by the studio Yokohama Animation Laboratory. Loved by few and criticized by many, this underrated and quickly forgotten anime shows us a fantastic yet dark world with a somewhat interesting plot. Available now on the Crunchyroll platform, I invite you to watch it if you are a fan of fantasy and suspense genres.

    Plot

The anime transports us to a fantastic and modern world where magic abounds everywhere, among society there are both beasts and beings that can control such magic, the most powerful of which are "the Witches" who are seen in modern society as a threat because of how dangerous they are. This is where Ashaf appears, a tall man and member of a mysterious organization called the Order of Magical Resonance, who is accompanied by Guideau, a blonde girl who actually has the soul of a being who once had the body of a great masked beast, but due to a strong curse is inside that body. Both walk together because of a deal they have made.

Ashaf always walks around with a coffin that has Guideau's body inside while he accompanies him in various cases of witches in order to finally find the one who cursed him. The witch they are looking for is called Angela Anne Huell and is one of the first great witches who have existed, besides being the only one who is alive today. The search is complicated by the fact that several magical artifacts are scattered around the country, so this curious couple must solve several cases while they recover the artifacts and take them to the Order of Magical Resonance. However, each case they take takes them further and further to the brink of death, as they face powerful beings and dangerous organizations in a world plagued by evil and darkness.

    SPANISH VERSION

    Trama

    Trailer & Review

Next, I will leave you the trailer of the anime:

    20240522_150315_0000.png

This 2024 started off very well as far as anime is concerned, and the first six months we saw masterpieces that I will be bringing you later in the following reviews. But, the least I've seen talked about on the internet has been this anime, which in terms of story, characters and animation gets a great score. While it is true that the fantasy genre has been brutally exploited in recent years in the world of anime, with dozens of series broadcast each year, it is very difficult to differentiate one from the other or find an anime of this genre that is good. However, in this case we can find a somewhat different story, either by the dark tone it has, the world in which it is developing or the themes and characters we see throughout its episodes. A work that was criticized a lot for being "badly adapted", but for me (who only watched the anime during its broadcast) is one of the best anime I enjoyed watching that season.

Let's start talking about the story, which revolves around two main characters: Ashaf and Guideau. This very peculiar couple of a magician and a monster with a girl's body attracts a lot of attention. In the first episode we can see well a very clear distinction of the characters, being one calm and friendly while the other is haughty and troublesome. The only thing that unites them by obligation are the witches, which are a threat to a society that seeks to move forward, leaving behind a very dark era while practicing behaviors and thoughts very similar to the Middle Ages. Anyway, while they all share a super rational hatred for dark beings that hunt and feed on the blood of humans so as not to lose their powers and their eternal youth, the companion of the passive protagonist shows an even greater hatred as it is a witch who cursed him, being now in the body of a blonde girl but with a somewhat superhuman strength and endurance.

The curious relationship that Ashaf and Guideau have is somewhat incompatible yet fragile on the surface. However, the trust they have is demonstrated in the early episodes as they work together to accomplish their purpose. The mysteries that are wrapped up between the two and the dark origins of the witches and magic itself is what gives the anime that suspenseful feel, while we meet more interesting characters and organizations. There are characters we will love as well as others we will hate. But what I like most about the whole anime is, of course, the incredible battles it has, the protagonist of these being the mysterious monster inside the coffin that Ashaf carries all the time. The way in which magic is manipulated and how they explain the enormous scope of that power that emanates everywhere is something very interesting as well.

Of course, a work with an incredible story of witches, wizards, monsters, undead and more is always more enjoyable if it has a very good animation and the studio house that was in charge on this occasion delivers very well by offering us a quality of animation, drawings and visual effects that surpasses most. The fluidity and details of the animation, as well as how the sound effects blend so well with each scene or moment is very well done. And with this, we also add the excellent soundtrack that has the anime, which is not much, but keeps the viewer in expectation of each scene with a very strong level of suspense. All this sums up to a work excellently done in many ways, with a level of drama, gore and action quite acceptable for anyone looking to see something different and dark.

Personally, I give it a 9/10 rating as far as the dark fantasy, adventure and suspense genre is concerned.

  3. The Witch and The Beast Anime Review [Eng/Esp]@seki1822d

I remember watching this shows trailer and getting hyped up, also talking about it in my Winter Anime's to Look out for post. The post mentioned eight shows, seven of which I watched completely and out of these seven, The Witch and The Beast sits at top of the list 🔥

    The Witch and The Beast

*** ### Plot. > Ashaff and Guideau are an uncommon pair. Guideau, a human cursed by a witch filled with rage and contempt and Ashaff, a human mage working for the Resonance of Magic. Together they handle magical cases and incidents while looking for witches in the hope of finding the one who cursed Guideau, and getting her to lift the curse. *** When I first read about the show I was enthusiastic. I saw it as a quick salve of losing black clover and I was in need of any type of magical action. Immediately it's first episode debuted, I downloaded it and I was in awe of it all, a truly great movie. *** ####

    What I Liked

*** ##### - The World Building 🌍 ![untitled.gif](https://media.tenor.com/rlD7VpRm6SoAAAAC/the-witch-and-the-beast-majo-to-yajuu.gif) The world building in this show was beautiful. Different concepts and laws consigning magic which are different from what we already know from other anime's yet still similar here. The locations are somewhat medieval yet still a bit modern, with some in-between. 8 continents of magic with a lot of battles and gore in them. *** ##### - A Fresh New Protagonist Dynamic. ![untitled.gif](https://media.tenor.com/BzknGd4DIqoAAAAC/the-witch-and-the-beast-majo-to-yajuu.gif) There are a few cliche protagonists in anime. There's the starkly different rivals like we have in Naruto, fairytale and Black Clover; the Overpowered MC like in Dragon Ball, Solo Leveling and Eminence in Shadow; the fun, lovable MC whose stunts cause trouble for his comrades and enemies alike like in One Piece. These three classifications of protagonists are more of less what all anime's protagonists fall under. Yet this duo is something new entirely, they aren't all about teamwork, as Ashaff is most times manipulating Guideau to help in the fighting or stop fighting as the situation entails. ![untitled.gif](https://media.tenor.com/dqDZqjKWAGYAAAAC/the-witch-and-the-beast-majo-to-yajuu.gif) It's not a cooperation born of trust but of mere convenience. As the anime goes on, one sees just how much their cooperation singles on a single goal. **Find the witch. Make her undo the curse.**

With such shaky grounds, it makes on wonder just how long the protagonists would stay together, if they'll leave each other when they do lift the curse, or if they're used to their teamwork of convenience and decide to continue it.

    - The Character Design.

untitled.gif For some reason, the character design of the show really interested me. I'm not really one to watch or read dark anime minus the popular ones (JJK and Tokyo Ghoul) which are still Shōnen. This show's character design is different from the round strokes and friendly faces of JJK and instead go for sharper, mysterious dark faces like those seen in Noblesse or Castlevania.

I have read the Noblesse manga. Lovely vampire stuff..

    untitled.gif

    - The Fights

untitled.gif Lovely character designs and animations lead to great fights. This was well proven in this anime where the magic didn't stop the characters from getting close and personal in high tension brawls and nobody brawled better than Guideau. Watching her fight is graceful and entertaining, moving through different forms of martial arts, giving and taking a whole lot of damage, she really is a sight to behold. untitled.gif

    Overall Review

*** I remember asking you all to watch this anime when it was about to start in my Winter Anime briefing post. Now I've watched it, I'm a testifier, and i urge you to watch it. You would not be disappointed 😉!

He leído el manga Noblesse.

¡No te decepcionarás 😉!

  4. Burn the Witch Anime Review@adamada907d

It's still a One Shot story consisting of 3 episodes and 1 prequel (Burn the Witch #0.8) with the anime released last March 2020. This story was written by Tite Kubo who authored the popular series Bleach.

I've seen this a few years back and made a pass because it's a one shot story which guarantees cliff hangers anyway. Fast forward to the last December 2023 when I was browsing for shows and the prequel 0.8 was released.

    VizMedia YT Channel

    Plot:

Noel and Ninny are Pipers that are part of the Wing Bind (WB) organization that is in charge of the conservation and management of Dragons in in Reverse London. Dragon related incidents make up most of the cause of deaths in London which prompted the existence of WB as an answer to subjugate and regulate the existence of these magical creatures. All dragons are potentially dangerous but some can be domesticated for resource production which halts ideas of fully eradicating them.

There's not a lot needed to be stretched here because it's a one shot story which leaves plenty of open-ended questions probably never answered until a full serialization is released.

    Setting:

Reverse London is exactly London but existing on a different plane (bottom of London) where magic and dragons exists and world kept hidden from those without affinity for magic. Pipers are units that handle the domestic concerns in dragon management but are equipped and trained for subjugation.

It's canon that this story is part of the Bleach universe but under the Western Branch. I like how there's not any mention about the Eastern Branch is up to with regards to souls, hollows and death gods.

    General Thoughts:

There's a limited amount of information I can share without giving away the plot and minor expositions. It's a one shot and most of the revealed lore can be done under one post.

I went in expecting cliff hangers and got exactly that. You know it's a show you like even if it ends with a cliff hanger that makes you wanting more closure. I said like but it doesn't necessarily mean it's a good show. I wouldn't call this one a good show based from the sample but it has the potential to be one based off the momentum the story went. A show is really bad if it ends with a cliff hanger and yet you can't even find yourself be invested on wanting to see the conclusion or make up one for your own.

Burn the Witch does look promising but at it's core, it's still not so different from any good shows out there. What I mean is that take off the general plot ideas and tropes apart and you'll see ideas that aren't even new. But it's strength lies in how characters are fleshed out Tite Kubo style. Kubo is know for creating impressionable characters as seen from his work Bleach. While Noel and Ninny's duo dynamic is proof of that magic.

The latest prequel 0.8 showed an improvement with the animation compared to the first 3 episodes released last 2020.

Noel's looks reminds me of Giselle Gewelle from Bleach and I can't unsee. It's probably a consequence of the author's art style.

Hope this gets full serialization. Thanks for your time.

  5. Burn the Witch@giotists1369d

On the occasion of the television reboot of Bleach, with the final season (Thousand-Year Blood War) coming out in a few weeks, my eye fell on Tite Kubo's next project: Burn The Witch. Teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1M1gzUoYgs Official Crunchyroll Trailer 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJzUi09q4q8 Official Crunchyroll Trailer 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnQZcum2se4 Episode 1 clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MzwLl-JrK4 Episode 3 clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvGxxrX7X0Q Ending - "Blowing": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHLKcMC6F-4 Official Anime Site: https://burn-the-witch-anime.com/ The first one-shot manga was published in the magazine Shounen Jump in 2018, while in 2020 the sequel was published in the same magazine in 4 chapters. The same year saw the release of the film based on the series, which is widely released as a three-episode limited series. Although it's not easily noticed at first, the series takes place in the same universe as Bleach. The hints, numerous at first, become certainty at the end. The whole adventure practically takes place in the Western Division of Soul Society in London, which is divided into the area of humans (Front London) and the area of Wizards/Witches and their organization, Wing Bind (something similar to the Gotei 13). So Wizards instead of Soul Reapers and Dragons instead of Hollows. Starring two young witches, Ninny and Noel, who work together to maintain order in London despite their starkly different personalities. It is an interesting series without big emotions, with Kubo's characteristic style. It feels like something that started out as an homage, a parallel universe and a game about fans and fandom, but along the way it seemed to be able to stand on its own. That is why at the end of the first limited series, instead of solving the questions, even more are created, while the conditions are formed in a way that could lead to a quite interesting continuation. After all, there have been discussions about such a possibility for two years.

  6. Burn The Witch Movie Review (Bleach Spin-off)@osakaghoul2029d

Today gonna be reviewing the Burn The Witch movie with very minor spoilers regarding the plot itself. Now this already came out at the beginning of October, but I missed the release window, regardless I still wanted to drop a review on this and get my 2 cents on the matter, plus if there are future movies it's good to have reviews on original stuff too.

    Synopsis

Historically, 72% of all the deaths in London are related to dragons, fantastical beings invisible to the majority of the people. While unknown to most, some people have been standing up to these dragons.

Only inhabitants of Reverse London who live in the hidden "reverse" side of London can see the dragons. Even then, only a selected few become qualified enough as witches or wizards to make direct contact with them.

    image.png

The protagonists of the story are witch duo Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind (WB), an organization for dragon conservation and management. Their mission is to protect and manage the dragons within London on behalf of the people.

Now overall I thought it was a decent movie, but it just needed so much more fill into it to make it more wholesome. As always please consider subscribing and upvoting my stuff!

  7. Manga Review: Burn The Witch (Season 1)@edens2124d

When we thought that the new Tite Kubo project was going to consist only of a 4 chapter manga, it was confirmed that this 4 chapter batch only corresponds to the first of a not indefinite number of seasons of Burn The Witch, that is, instead of being a weekly or monthly serialization, the new Tite Kubo manga is going to consist of seasonal publications. It has not been confirmed how many seasons it will be, much less how many chapters it will have next season, but I believe that this new way of working can work well for the mangaka creator of Bleach, since this way he will be able to think better about his story and perhaps in this way, not make the same mistakes he made with Bleach.

Every time I read a chapter of Burn The Witch I always had the doubt of it because so few chapters, since with only 4 I was not going to be able to create a story with a good ending, due to the way the situations in this manga were happening, but I am very happy that we are going to have even more publications of this manga, and maybe it is a new format that is testing the Shonen Jump for other future projects.

With regard to Burn The Witch, if we read the One-Shot along with the 4 chapters published, we could say that they correspond to a complete season and although certain situations were resolved very quickly and there are still many doubts, I think this manga has quite a lot of potential. Not only because of Tite Kubo's excellent drawing, since he still maintains that stylized style of layout and totally dynamic action situations, but also because this new story that Tite Kubo is proposing is really interesting. The whole argument focused on magic and dragons and their uses in Reverse London society, but also the danger that some of these Dragons represent to the inhabitants, is a very entertaining argument and if Tite manages to develop it well, maybe we are looking at a new pillar of the Shonen Jump, I do not lose hope of seeing again a manga of this author being part of the pillars of the magazine.

These 4 chapters together with the One-Shot could also be considered as a prologue, since in addition to presenting us with the utilities of these dragons in society, they also show us the hierarchical order of Wing Bind and how they think in certain related situations are the dragons. It is an interesting manga which I look forward to next season and I also hope to see some Bleach characters.

  8. Manga Review: Burn The Witch 1 "Witches Blow A New Pipe"@edens2141d

After two years of the launch of Burn The Witch One-Shot (I didn't remember that it had been 2 years since that), the first chapter of this mini history of the witches who fight dragons finally came out. As I said in the post that I dedicated to the One-Shot this manga is going to be short, only 4 chapters and although I hoped that it would have at least some additional chapters, I think that these 4 are enough to show us this new world that has relation with Bleach. Once again Tite Kubo is going to leave us amazed with his excellent drawings and character design, however it still maintains the same characteristics of having totally simple and even empty backgrounds, and this is something quite typical of this author. However, as expected, Burn The Witch started in the Shonen Jump starring the cover of the magazine and also has an excellent color page.

And without more, the review of the first chapter:

The story of this first chapter is very simple and serves as an introduction to this "new universe", although I would have liked that in this chapter, they had gone deeper into the story, since the One-Shot served for that very purpose, as an introduction. Burn The Witch 1 "Witches Blow A New Pipe", after a small introduction to Ninny's character, shows us Noel fighting one of those dragons for a mission that was assigned to him. After this, she is helped by Ninny to finish the mission, what's curious about how these "witches" use their powers, besides using a kind of magic flute, they also use skills very similar to the ones used by the Shinigamis in Bleach.

After this, when the two protagonists were at the organization's headquarters, surprisingly the third protagonist of this story appears: Balgo, who is being "dragged" through the air by his "pet dragon". Let's remember that in the One-Shot of this manga, Balgo became a "half-dragon" so that both Noel and Ninny were left as their caretakers.

After some unimportant presentations and some comical moments (as it is common with this author), they finally manage to stop Balgo and his pet, however the reason why "Osushi" (the pet) would get so nervous is because a Black Dragon was going to attack Balgo and at this moment it is explained to us that the "half-dragons", are capable of attracting other dragons, therefore, for the first time after many years, inside the Reverse London, because of Balgo entered a Black Dragon. Ninny sees this and even with her desire to enter the group of elimination of dangerous dragons will attack this dragon.

However, this fight is not shown, since they change the scene and show us a group of people sitting watching the whole fight between Noel and Ninny vs. the dragon. This group of people is presented and because of the little that can be seen of these characters they seem to be leaders of the "Wing Bind" Organization, that is, the Soul Society of Europe, so these characters after talking a little, the one that seems to be their leader (which has a design similar to the Ywach), says that they must "stop" Balgo, so I guess this story is going to focus on keeping Balgo safe from the leaders of this organization.

There are still things that need to be explained, how was this organization created, how does it relate to the Soul Society of Japan? It also explains that people who are not specially prepared to have contact with dragons can suffer 100 years in prison or death, and that at a higher degree of contact with these creatures they have a greater chance of becoming half-dragons like Balgo. And the most important doubt I have is, will any Bleach character appear as a cameo?

  9. The new project of Tite Kubo (Creator of Bleach): Burn the Witch@edens2151d

In the post that I dedicated to Bleach, I mentioned how disappointed I was with his last saga, because it was very rushed and a lot of convenience and nonsense happened, however there is something about Bleach that I like a lot and that is that the style of Tite Kubo (its creator) is undoubtedly one of the best of the Shonen Jump, that although in terms of drawing the scenarios are quite simple and some cases non-existent, the main attraction with respect to Tite Kubo's drawing style is his characters, because he has a really good style, the line drawing, character design, powers, skills is really unique, besides that as far as battles are concerned he can make really impressive and quite dynamic scenes, that's why despite all the disappointment that the end of Bleach left me, I really wanted to see this mangaka again in a new project and soon, after some years of the end of Bleach, Tite Kubo would return.

On the 50th anniversary of the Shonen Jump, Tite Kubo would return with a small project, a One-Shot called "Burn the Witch" (a One-Shot is a one-chapter manga with a self-concluding ending). This new manga would focus on new characters and tell us a little story that would have nothing to do with Bleach, or at least that's what we thought at the beginning.

The One-Shot Burn the Witch has a fairly simple story, but is nonetheless very entertaining, all thanks to Tite Kubo's excellent drawing. In this story that focuses on "witches". We are introduced to "Niihashi Noel", which is being harassed by "Balgo", and after leaving it behind Niihashi Noel is introduced in a phone booth to be transported to the "Reverse London", because unlike Bleach that all its history is focused on Japan, in Burn the Witch the events are focused on Europe, specifically in London. Later we are introduced to the 3rd main person in this story, Ninii Spangle. These two characters both Niihashi Noel and Ninii Spangle, work for an organization that takes care of but also eliminates some quite rare creatures that are called "dragons". These "dragons" serve different things in the world, as much as food, fuel or textiles, there are different types of these creatures.

Noel and Ninii work in the care section of these Dragons, however, Ninii wants to move up in rank to join the group of those who are in charge of eliminating the dragons that are endangering the lives of the inhabitants of London. After a day of work, Noel and Ninii are contacted by their boss, who tells them that right in the place where Noel lives, a dragon has been detected, which we see said dragon took the form of the dog of Balgo. Balgo is accompanied by his friend, and to everyone's surprise his "friend" was also a dragon. Since there are dragons that are capable of taking a person's dead body and impersonating that person. Since his friend died 10 years ago, this dragon took his body and was interacting with Balgo during all this time.

After an arduous battle, in which Balgo is badly injured after protecting Ninii , they manage to finish off the dragon that had taken the body of "Balgo's" friend. The story takes us once again to the headquarters of this organization and they assign Noel and Ninii the care of Balgo because when he is bitten by one of them, he now has the ability to be a half-dragon. The story ends up surprising us by showing us that this organization is a branch of the "Soul Society" but with a location in London, so both the events that happen/occur in Bleach and Burn the Witch are in the same universe.

In spite of how simple this story was, it was quite entertaining and it is always nice to see Tite Kubo's style again. So this little manga only made me want to see a new project of this manga, but soon we would have more news about Tite Kubo. Because some time later, through a live show on Youtube, 3 future projects were going to be revealed in relation to Bleach and Burn The Witch.

    • The main project was the adaptation to the anime of the last Bleach saga. Although there were things I didn't like about this saga, I look forward to seeing it adapted.
    • The adaptation to an anime film of Burn the Witch, here I leave you the trailer because it looks pretty good.
    • The other project was the serialization of the manga of Burn the Witch, this is going to be a manga of few chapters, only 4, so it will be a mini story, which will begin to be published on 24th of the year 2020, so there is not much time left.
