Hello everyone, anime fans, great Hive community, I hope you're all doing great. This time, I want to talk a little about the second season of Oshi no Ko... I watched it a while ago, and I can finally share my thoughts... Do you know that thing about how second seasons sometimes slip up a bit? Well, with Oshi no Ko T2... it's... interesting, but for the better... in fact, and maybe this is going to sound a bit controversial, but I think in several important ways, it could even be better than the first. Okay, so a big part of the season, the main course, is about the characters getting involved in producing a play based on the famous manga, 'Tokyo Blade'... Aqua, Kana, and Akane get roles and... boom! things start to get complicated, now, I’ll be super honest, when I found out the main arc was about a play, I thought: “Oh, isn’t this going to be kind of slow?”.. I mean, plays in anime... aren’t always the most exciting things, right?

I imagined kind of still scenes, maybe less of the intense drama that I loved about Season 1.. but how wrong I was, it wasn’t just about watching the play itself, but about all the chaos, the creativity, the fighting behind the scenes.. seeing these characters move in the world of theater, which is totally different from movies or TV, was fascinating, and this is where the series gets really clever, really.. it dives right into the whole process of adapting something. You know how we, as fans, get crazy when an anime or movie changes something from the manga or book that we love? We’re all like, “How dare they destroy this gem?!” This season turns it around and shows us the other side, it makes you see why those changes happen… we see the writer struggling to fit a really long manga into two hours, the director trying to make it look good on stage, and the actors trying to bring to life characters that millions already have in mind. There are even creative differences with the original creator, which felt super real.

Mind you, it’s not that it really excuses bad adaptations – believe me, I still have nightmares about some horrible CGI things or seasons that I don’t even want to mention (cough cough Promised Neverland S2 cough cough) – but it does add that layer of “oh, look at you” to it… it shows you that sometimes changes are due to pacing, budget, what works on paper, or because of creative differences within the team. It's a critique, but it's very tactful, respecting both the fan's passion and the creator's challenge. I was like, "Okay, yeah, I get it, thanks."

Hola a todos, fanáticos del anime, gran comunidad de Hive, espero que estén super bien, en esta ocasión, les quiero hablar un poco de la segunda temporada de Oshi no Ko.. la ví hace algún tiempo, y por fin puedo compartirles mis opiniones.. ¿Ubican esa onda de que a veces las segundas temporadas como que bajan un poco? bueno, con Oshi no Ko T2... la cosa es... interesante, pero para bien.. de hecho, y tal vez esto va a sonar medio polémico, pero creo que en varias cosas importantes, podría ser hasta mejor que la primera. Ok, gran parte de la temporada, el plato fuerte digamos, va de que los personajes se meten a producir una obra de teatro basada en un manga famoso, 'Tokyo Blade'.. Aqua, Kana y Akane consiguen papeles y... ¡pum! las cosas comienzan a complicarse, ahora, les soy súper honesto, cuando supe que el arco principal era sobre una obra de teatro, pensé: "Ay, ¿no será medio lento esto?".. o sea, obras de teatro en anime... no siempre es lo más similar, ¿no?
Me imaginé escenas medio quietas, quizás menos del drama intenso que me encantó de la T1.. pero qué equivocado estaba, no se trataba solo de ver la obra en sí, sino de todo el desmadre, la creatividad, el pleito detrás del escenario.. ver a estos personajes moverse en el mundo del teatro, que es otro rollo totalmente distinto al cine o la tele, estuvo fascinante, y aquí es donde la serie se pone bien lista, la verdad.. se clava de lleno en todo el proceso de adaptar algo. ¿Saben cómo nosotros, como fans, nos ponemos locos cuando un anime o una peli cambia algo del manga o libro que amamos? Todos somos el típico "¡¿Cómo se atrevieron a destruir esta joya?!".. esta temporada le da la vuelta y nos muestra el otro lado, te mete a ver por qué pasan esos cambios.. vemos al guionista sufriendo para meter un manga larguísimo en dos horas, al director viendo cómo hacerla llamativa en un escenario, y a los actores tratando de darle vida a personajes que millones ya tienen en la cabeza, incluso hay diferencias creativas con la autora original de la obra, eso se sintió súper real.
Ojo, no es que justifique las adaptaciones malas de verdad – créanme, todavía tengo pesadillas con algunas cosas horribles en CGI o temporadas que ni mencionar (cof cof Promised Neverland T2 cof cof) – pero le mete esa capa de "ah, mira tú".. te muestra que a veces los cambios son por ritmo, por presupuesto, porque lo que funciona en papel no jala en un escenario, o por diferencias creativas en el equipo. Es una crítica, pero con mucho tacto, que respeta tanto la pasión del fan como el reto del creador.. me quedé pensando: "Ok, sí, ya entendí, gracias".

Okay, but anyway, the story and the themes hit really hard, yes, but... can we take a second to talk about how beautiful this season looked? Honestly, the animation studio excelled once again. The first season looked good, of course it did, but the second? Wow! It felt like a leap in quality, but a huge one, the animation was much more fluid, the designs, especially the faces they made in the most tense moments... brutal, they conveyed a ton of things... just with that you realize the detail they put into it. And then, already in the play part, like from episodes 6 to 9, the direction was insane, how they played with the lighting, the very dynamic camera angles (it even seemed like you were sitting there watching it), and those super intense close-ups to show you the internal storm of the characters while they acted... ugh, god-level, it wasn't just pretty animation to impress, you know?

Every single thing they did with the camera or the drawing felt like it was there to help the story, to make you connect more with what the characters were feeling, even if you already knew things from the manga, the way the anime did it... it took it to another level.. it made the emotional moments hit you much, much harder.. and speaking of characters, this is where the second season, for me, became super special. I’ll be honest, although I loved the first one, sometimes I felt like the characters were there more to move the story or criticize the industry, and not so much to fully explore what was going on inside them, because this season turned that around.. the ‘Tokyo Blade’ arc was like the perfect test to force them to grow a lot, especially our leading trio.

Okay, pero bueno, la historia y los temas pegaron durísimo, sí, pero... ¿podemos tomarnos un segundito para hablar de lo hermosa que se vio esta temporada? La verdad, el estudio de animación se lució una vez más, la primera se veía bien, claro que sí, pero ¿la segunda? ¡Wow! Se sintió un salto de calidad, pero enorme, la animación mucho más fluida, los diseños, sobre todo las caras que ponían en los momentos más tensos... brutal, te transmitían un montón de cosas.. solo con eso te das cuenta del detalle que le metieron. Y después, ya en la parte de la obra, como de los capítulos 6 al 9, la dirección estuvo de locos, cómo jugaron con la luz, los ángulos de cámara bien dinámicos (hasta parecía que estabas ahí sentado viéndola) y esos acercamientos súper intensos para mostrarte la tormenta interna de los personajes mientras actuaban... uff, nivel dios, no era nomás animación bonita para apantallar, ¿saben?
Cada cosa que hicieron con la cámara o el dibujo se sentía que era para ayudar a la historia, para que conectaras más con lo que estaban sintiendo los personajes, incluso si ya te sabías cosas por el manga, la forma en que lo hizo el anime... lo llevó a otro nivel.. hizo que los momentos emotivos te pegaran mucho, mucho más fuerte.. y hablando de personajes, aquí es donde la segunda temporada, para mí, se volvió súper especial. Les soy sincero, aunque me encantó la primera, a veces sentía que los personajes estaban ahí más para mover la historia o la crítica a la industria, y no tanto para explorar a fondo lo que les pasaba por dentro, pues esta temporada le dio la vuelta.. el arco de 'Tokyo Blade' fue como la prueba de fuego perfecta para obligarlos a crecer un montón, sobre todo a nuestro trío protagonista.

Aqua’s feelings are explored more, the thing about revenge, what we saw in the first season, here we see how her trauma, her pain for Ai, mixes directly with how she acts… they present you with this idea that for him to really get into a role he has to pull from his own pain, from his darkness, he needs to suffer it again… I know, it sounds super edgy said like that, I know, but the way the series shows it feels justified and gave it this kind of tragic depth… it was no longer just about finding the killer. They also focused on more characters, Kana, who has more natural talent, like more spark, but sometimes has a lot of insecurities, that made her feel more complex, more… fragile underneath that face that calculates everything. Of course, the series hasn't forgotten where it comes from... it continues to throw those very sharp criticisms at the entertainment industry, the theater gave it a new angle, seeing them fight, challenge each other, and even learning the pressure of performing live, the immediate reaction of the people, the different tricks you need compared to acting for the camera..

Se explora más los sentimientos de Aqua, lo de la venganza, eso que vimos en la primera temporada, aquí vemos cómo su trauma, su dolor por Ai, se mezcla directito con cómo actúa.. te plantean esta idea de que para que él realmente se meta en un papel tiene que jalar de su propio dolor, de su oscuridad, necesita volver a sufrirlo.. ya sé, suena súper edgy dicho así, lo sé, pero la forma en que lo muestra la serie se siente justificado y le dio como esta profundidad medio trágica.. ya no era nomás encontrar al asesino. También se enfocaron en más personajes, Kana, que tiene más talento natural, como más de chispa, pero a veces tiene muchas inseguridades, eso la hizo sentir más complejo, más... frágil debajo de esa cara de que todo lo calcula. Claro, la serie no se olvidó de dónde viene.. sigue tirando esas críticas bien filosas sobre la industria del entretenimiento, lo del teatro le dio un ángulo nuevo, verlas pelearse, retarse, y hasta aprender la presión de actuar en vivo, la reacción inmediata de la gente, las diferentes mañas que necesitas comparado con actuar para la cámara..

And yes, the main mystery –finding Aqua’s dad– is still there, advancing little by little… there’s a point where you think: “almost there, almost there” but it’s Oshi no Ko, it gives you a thousand turns, it confuses you, it leaves you curious… let’s just say that the info that Aqua gets is not easy at all, and the season ends with a revelation about her dad that… well, let’s just say that it makes things really intense and raises the level of danger for S3… no spoilers, but it changes how you see the threat and it’s like the danger is already here, closer, I also felt that the final arc was already starting to give more focus to Ruby and how she’s dealing with her past and what Ai left behind, and that felt necessary and exciting for what’s to come… in general?

Look, when I started Season 2, I wasn’t sure if it was going to be able to match those shocking moments from the beginning of Season 1, maybe it doesn’t have a single moment that shocking… but what it does have is that it delves much deeper and for a longer time into the characters and themes, the ‘Tokyo Blade’ arc, which at first I was like “meh, I don’t know…”, turned out to be brilliant, it let the characters grow a lot and gave us this super interesting look at how adaptations are made. The animation and the direction, ugh! always at 100%… although I did feel like Ruby was left a little bit aside almost the entire season, compared to those who were in the work, her moments at the end did hit hard… so, my rating?

Okay, even though it lacked that super impactful moment like the one in the S1 premiere, the depth it gained, how good it looks, how the characters grew (especially Kana and Akane!) and how intelligently they handled the adaptation issue... for me, make this season rise more in quality and in what I liked... it felt more mature, more... sure of what it was telling, I give Oshi no Ko Season 2 a solid 8.5/10... it built on what the first one left in ways that felt important and worthwhile, showing that this series is much more than just the idea it started with... and well, that's all for today, I hope you like it a lot, take care! Y sí, el misterio principal –lo de encontrar al papá de Aqua– pues ahí sigue, avanzando poquito a poquito.. hay un punto donde piensas: " ya casi, ya casi" pero ¡es Oshi no Ko, te da mil vueltas, te confunde, te deja picado.. digamos que la info que consigue Aqua no está nada fácil, y la temporada termina con una revelación sobre el papá que... bueno, digamos que pone las cosas bien intensas y le sube el nivel cañón al peligro para la T3.. sin spoilers, pero cambia cómo ves la amenaza y como que el peligro ya está aquí, más cerquita, también sentí que el arco final ya empezaba a darle más foco a Ruby y a cómo ella está lidiando con su pasado y lo que dejó Ai, y eso se sintió necesario y emocionante para lo que viene.. en general?
Miren, cuando empecé la T2, no estaba seguro si iba a poder igualar esos momentos de shock del inicio de la T1, tal vez no tiene un solo momento así de impactante.. pero lo que sí tiene es que se adentra mucho más y por más tiempo en los personajes y los temas, el arco de 'Tokyo Blade', que al principio yo decía "meh, no sé...", resultó ser brillante, dejó que los personajes crecieran un montón y nos dio esa mirada súper interesante a cómo se hacen las adaptaciones. La animación y la dirección, ¡uff!, siempre al cien.. aunque chance sí sentí que a Ruby la dejaron un poquito de lado casi toda la temporada, comparada con los que andaban en la obra, sus momentos ya al final sí pegaron fuerte.. entonces, ¿mi calificación?
A ver, aunque le faltó ese momento súper impactante como el del estreno de la T1, la profundidad que ganó, lo bien que se ve, cómo crecieron los personajes (¡sobre todo Kana y Akane!) y lo inteligente que manejaron el tema de las adaptaciones... para mí, hacen que esta temporada suba más en calidad y en lo que me gustó.. se sintió más madura, más... segura de lo que contaba, le doy a Oshi no Ko Temporada 2 un sólido 8.5/10.. construyó sobre lo que dejó la primera de formas que se sintieron importantes y que valieron la pena, demostrando que esta serie es mucho más que solo la idea con la que empezó.. y bueno, esto es todo por hoy, espero que les guste mucho, cuidense! Normally, I have a specific type of genre that I stick to and I quite enjoy and this show is no where near that genre. Yet here I am, the guy who happened to watch one episode, then literally downloaded and watch the rest, and is now actively following up on the second season.

Oshi No Ko✨
*** ### Plot. > The world of idols isn't quite what is seems. It's a world of lies where the most successful are unfortunately the best liars and when the lies stop, the success drops. Gorou Amamiya is a gynecologist who is obsessed with the fast rising idol Hoshino AI. Due to some circumstances, he ends up being reincarnated as AI's child. Later on, his now mother and beloved idol is murdered by an obsessed fan due to her lies. The fan found her address from a source and Gorou now named Aqua believes its his father, Hoshino's secret lover. To prove that fact, he sets out on a hunt to find his father and protect his twin sister who's in the Idol business from meeting the same fate, even if he has to wade in the dark waters of the entertainment world to do it. *** That's write folks, an idol themed anime. > I can hear the gasps 😭
To be honest, I didn't expect to ever watch something like this either, it was a product of pure boredom, curiosity and excess internet that was about to expire😂

Despite that, I'm actually very glad that I watched this because it's so good!! The show has a lot of things that are quite appealing to me...

- A Solid Plot.

The plot of a random idol drama would have seemed so medieval and boring but the addition of mystery brought it alive in a unique way. I found myself curious and hooked after the pilot episode which was like a short movie of over an hour.

Who was the father?

Why would he do this?

I found myself asking such questions as I watched the story unfold. After the end of the pilot episode, I immediately downloaded the second one and before I knew it😞

- Lovely Character Development

The author did and is doing a lovely show in character development. We get to fall in love with Hoshino Ai in just the first episode as we see and learn quite a lot of things about her. It was so natural and the pacing quite nice. Not only AI, but the other characters too. As the story goes on, we become more invested in these characters lives and we get to understand them more. It makes the story even more richer.

- The Animation

The animation was quite wonderful ✨ The look of the characters and the use of different colors and shade to make the environment seem to glow and pop. The idol world is brought up quite beautifully and almost realistically.

- Hidden Truths

My true joy and love about this anime is learning about the entertainment industry. The fact that aqua who's now an actor and his sister who's an idol like his mother helps the story bring up different facts about the entertainment industry all around. This, I think is the main aim of the show as it educates about the danger involved in the entertainment industry and also the joys gotten from it. It helps explains some concepts of acting easily and makes the viewer look at films, movies, theatre and pretty much any performances in a whole new light. I'm a sucker for such shows so this is a definite reason why I'm stuck watching it.

Overall Review
*** This is a lovely show which I watched about three weeks ago, then re-watched before starting season two. It's only two episodes into season two so I can't say quite much about it yet, but I do hope it gets to be as eventful and entertaining as season one.
The comedy and romance drama are also quite interesting so I guess I'm watching for that too. I'd give it 8 out of 10 stars and urge watchers of the genre or everybody to watch it.✨

A pesar de eso, ¡estoy muy contento de haber visto esto porque es muy bueno! El programa tiene muchas cosas que me resultan bastante atractivas...

- Una trama sólida.

La trama de un drama de ídolos aleatorio habría parecido tan medieval y aburrida, pero la adición de misterio le dio vida de una manera única. Sentí curiosidad y me enganché después del episodio piloto, que fue como una película corta de más de una hora.

¿Quién era el padre?

¿Por qué haría esto?

Me encontré haciendo esas preguntas mientras observaba cómo se desarrollaba la historia. Después del final del episodio piloto, inmediatamente descargué el segundo y antes de darme cuenta😞

- Desarrollo encantador del personaje

El autor hizo y está haciendo un espectáculo encantador en el desarrollo de personajes. Nos enamoramos de Hoshino Ai solo en el primer episodio mientras vemos y aprendemos muchas cosas sobre ella. Fue muy natural y el ritmo bastante agradable. No sólo la IA, sino también los demás personajes. A medida que avanza la historia, nos involucramos más en la vida de estos personajes y llegamos a comprenderlos más. Hace que la historia sea aún más rica.

- La animación

La animación fue bastante maravillosa ✨ La apariencia de los personajes y el uso de diferentes colores y sombras para hacer que el ambiente parezca brillar y resaltar. El mundo de los ídolos se plantea de manera bastante hermosa y casi realista.

- Verdades ocultas

Mi verdadera alegría y amor por este anime es aprender sobre la industria del entretenimiento. El hecho de que Aqua, que ahora es actor, y su hermana, que es una ídolo como su madre, ayuda a que la historia muestre diferentes hechos sobre la industria del entretenimiento. Creo que este es el objetivo principal del programa, ya que educa sobre los peligros que implica la industria del entretenimiento y también las alegrías que se obtienen de ella. Ayuda a explicar algunos conceptos de actuación fácilmente y hace que el espectador vea películas, películas, teatro y prácticamente cualquier actuación desde una perspectiva completamente nueva. Good morning anime lovers, well I'll be honest to tell you the truth when I saw the cover of this anime with that style of drawing with exaggerated kawaii eyes with glitter and knowing that it was of the genre of Japanese idols, believe me I wasn't already with a crucifix and backing away saying: stay away from me, this is not for me.

Muy buenos días a los amantes del anime, bueno seré honesto a decir verdad cuando vi la portada de este anime con ese estilo de dibujo con ojos kawaii exagerados con brillos y saber que era del genero de idols japonesas, créeme que no ya estaba con un crucifijo y retrocediendo diciendo: atrás, atrás, esto no es para mi.

And I think it's not an exaggeration, because the concept where we put these series is that they are anime full of Frozen style musicals, singing every 5 minutes some cloying theme and with generic power rangers choreographies.

So past that hurdle of watching something that is more of the same (copy and paste stories of 6 member Kpop style bands), I wanted to give this series a chance. I added that I had nothing to watch that afternoon so I just gave it a play.

Y pues creo que no es de exagerar, pues el concepto donde ponemos estas series es que son animes cargados de musicales estilo Frozen, cantando cada 5 minutos algún tema empalagoso y con coreografías genéricas de power rangers.

Así que pasando ese obstáculo que es ver algo que es mas de los mismo (copiar y pegar historias de bandas con 6 integrantes estilo Kpop), quise darle una oportunidad a esta serie. Añado que no tenia nada que ver en esa tarde así que pues simplemente le di play.

Analysis point:

Para grata sorpresa esta serie no va de estar cantando cada 5 minutos con coreografías musicales, todo lo contrario, esta serie es un drama constante con historias de sus personajes que poco o nada saldrán al escenario a cantar, así que no se preocupen, esto encaja mas es una película detrás de cámaras de la vida privada del artista que de saberse sus canciones u que nos saturen con estas a lo largo de la serie.

Our main story takes place in a small rural town in the middle of the mountains away from the big city. In this place there is a hospital and in it a little girl of 12 years old who is fighting against cancer, her doctor who was assigned to her is at the side of the girl to encourage her to continue with the treatment to stop the disease.

Plot

Por el lado de la historia también está bien, al principio, pero eso lo quiero detallar un poco más adelante. Al principio, lo vi más que todo por el alto “HYPE” que la gente mostraba tener en internet a la espera de su emisión.

El primer episodio, el cual fácilmente puede ser una película por lo largo que es, es sin duda lo mejor que puedes ver de este anime, así como te digo. Y es que la introducción de los personajes, el desarrollo de la historia, el caso de Ai, su carrera, los secretos que escondía y el final que le dieron, dejándonos tanto una escena tan triste y traumática como el legado de una de las mejores Idols que h3 visto, hasta ahora en mi vida. La perfecta combinación de drama, misterio, ficción sobrenatural y comedia es fantástica.

And of course, after a tremendous introduction, it's obvious that by slowing down the pace and giving us episodes that leave us thinking while we get to know all the characters, both the main and the secondary ones and learn about their stories, it's logical that I became a little discouraged. Anyway, in the end I only stayed for the soundtrack and one or two characters, and little else. Also, I'm not saying with this that the anime is bad.

Personally, I give it a rating of 9/10 as far as the drama, mystery and supernatural fiction genre is concerned.

Por otro lado, también está el desarrollo del personaje principal, el cual es de los que más me llaman la atención, aunque no tanto como otros personajes. Empezando a ser un médico y fanático a reencarnar como el hijo de su Ídolo favorita y terminar siendo un psicópata depresivo en busca de venganza. El tema de la reencarnación es algo que Japón no deja de usar en sus series, lo cual le da esa mezcla tan curiosa pero a la vez trae temas polémicos (tomando en cuenta que los actuales hermanos gemelos son en realidad dos personas reencarnadas que no tienen una relación más allá de ser conocidos).

Pero, fuera de la polémica, el alto fanservice que se generó después de emitirse el primer episodio y la increíble experiencia que nos dejó este mismo, admito que desde la mitad del anime siento que se volvió un poco lento y aburrido. Y claro, luego de una tremenda introducción, es evidente que al bajar el ritmo y darnos episodios que nos dejan pensando mientras conocemos todos los personajes, tanto los principales como los secundarios y conocer sus historias, es lógico que llegara a desanimarme un poco. Igual, al final me quedé solo por su banda sonora y uno que otro personaje, y poco más. También, no digo con esto que el anime sea malo.

Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 9/10 en lo que respecta al género del drama, misterio y ficción sobrenatural.

This series was undoubtedly one of the best I saw all year, and easily enters my top 5 anime series of 2023. Surely someone who is closer in the anime community has heard of this series, as it caused quite a stir... it became quite well known. It is the anime: Oshi no Ko, at first glance, is not an anime for all tastes, because it focuses on idols. What are Idols? For those who do not know, it is a type of artist, mostly Japanese girls, who are very important in the world of entertainment in Japan.

These girls dance, sing, and do amazing performances, and they usually have a huge fan base, the groups that are recognized, of course. There have already been many Idol anime, also movies, or series, they usually represent all the innocence that comes with being an idol, but this anime is not like that. Underneath all the first impression of brightness and colors, there is a really complete, deep and mature plot...

Hola a todos, espero se encuentren genial! El día de hoy les quiero hablar sobre una de las series anime que más me ha impresionado del año pasado.. Esta serie sin duda fue de las mejores que vi en todo el año, y fácilmente entra en mi top 5 de animes del 2023. Seguramente alguno que esté más cercano en la comunidad del anime ha oído hablar de esta serie, ya que causo bastante revuelo.. se hizo bastante conocida. Se trata del anime: Oshi no Ko, a simple vista, no sea un anime para todos los gustos, debido a que se enfoca en idols. ¿Qué son Idols? Para quien no lo sepa, es un tipo de artista, mayormente chicas japonesas, que son muy importantes en el mundo del entretenimiento en Japón.

Estas chicas bailan, cantan, y hacen presentaciones increíbles, y normalmente tienen una gran cantidad de fans, los grupos que son reconocidos, claro. Ya ha habido muchos animes de Idols, también películas, o series, normalmente representan toda la inocencia que conlleva ser una idol, pero este anime no es así. Debajo de toda la primera impresión de brillos y colores, se encuentra una trama realmente completa, profunda y madura..

This anime makes a big impact on you by the end of the first episode. Although things can get pretty crazy in the first few minutes, I feel that the way we are introduced to the main characters is quite unique and interesting. The main protagonist is the amazing Ai, one of the most famous and successful idols of the moment. Her dream and ambition are the main things that motivate her to keep going, even with all the difficulties this world has for her. The other main character is a doctor from a rural hospital, without many friends, and with nothing special in his life, except for one thing, he is one of Ai's biggest fans. This doctor is an incredible fan of the idol, he loves everything about her and her performances. Well, one day on duty, his destiny changes completely, as he receives an unusual patient.

Indeed, Ai comes to the hospital, and introduces herself to him, discovering something extremely delicate... His favorite idol... She is pregnant. You don't know how incredibly hard it is to talk about this anime without making spoilers haha. This first chapter was one of the best first chapters I've seen from the anime world, it's certainly very interesting to see how this Idol's story unfolds, it certainly breaks your heart. This first chapter serves to hook you completely into this story, I was expecting to find something very typical, and I was very surprised by what I found. The story takes a tremendous turn, I love it when an anime surprises me...it's one of the biggest things I love about this medium. I feel like it took me by the hand and made me believe that the story would go sideways, to just take a turn, and give you something different, but very cool.

Este anime te impacta mucho al finalizar el primer episodio. Aunque las cosas pueden volverse bastantes locas en los primeros minutos, siento que la manera de presentarnos a los protagonistas es bastante única e interesante. La protagonista principal es la increíble Ai, una de las idols más famosas y exitosas del momento. Su sueño y ambición son las principales cosas que la motivan a seguir adelante, aun así con todas las dificultades que este mundo tiene para ella. El otro protagonista es un doctor de un hospital rural, sin muchos amigos, y sin nada especial en su vida, salvo una cosa, es uno de los más grandes fans de Ai. Este doctor es un increíble fan de la idol, ama todo lo relacionado con ella y sus presentaciones. Pues, un día cualquiera de guardia, su destino cambia por completo, ya que recibe a una paciente poco común.

Efectivamente, Ai acude al hospital, y se presenta ante él, descubriendo algo extremadamente delicado.. Su idol favorita.. Está embarazada. No saben lo increíblemente difícil que es hablar de este anime sin hacer spoilers jaja. Este primer capítulo fue uno de los mejores primeros capítulos que he visto del mundo del anime, sin duda es muy interesante ver cómo se desarrolla la historia de esta Idol, sin duda te parte el corazón. Este primer capítulo sirve para engancharte completamente en esta historia, yo me esperaba encontrar algo muy típico y me sorprendió mucho lo que encontré. La historia da un tremendo giro, me encanta cuando un anime me sorprende.. es una de las mayores cosas que amo de este medio. Siento que me llevo de la mano e hizo creer que la historia se iría para un lado, para solo dar una vuelta, y darte algo diferente, pero muy genial.

Aqua, Ai's son, is the character that stands out the most in this series, and my favorite. He has a very mature mentality, and is willing to do anything to solve a great mystery that deeply relates to his mother. He doesn't mind lying, or manipulating others, just to get what he wants... his personality is a bit cold, but you manage to empathize with him and understand why he is the way he is. Behind this facade of a guy who doesn't need anyone, there is a young man who really cares about the ones he loves...

One thing I would like to mention that I loved about this character is his Japanese voice actor, or his "Seiyuu". He does an amazing job! I love how he gives him all that personality he has, he manages to convey to you all that tension and perspective of the things around him. I love this, Japanese voice actors take their job very seriously, and most of the time they give a very good result, they put more passion-love into their projects than any other voice actor in the industry. We also meet Ruby, Ai's other daughter, a sweet and friendly girl, who decides to become a great Idol like her mother. As the series progresses, we can see that kind of love-hate that exists between siblings, something quite common in reality...

Aqua, el hijo de Ai, es el personaje que más destaca en esta serie, y mi favorito. Posee una mentalidad muy madura, y está dispuesto a hacer de todo para resolver un gran misterio que relaciona profundamente a su madre. No le importa mentir, o manipular a otros, con tal de obtener lo que quiere.. su personalidad es algo fría, pero logras empatizar con él y entender por qué es así. Detrás de esta fachada de chico que no necesita a nadie, hay un joven que realmente siento cariño por sus seres queridos..

Una cosa que me gustaría mencionar que me encanto de este personaje es su actor de voz japonés, o su “Seiyuu”. Hace un trabajo increíble! Me encanta como le da toda esa personalidad que tiene, logra transmitirte toda esa tensión y perspectiva de las cosas que lo rodean. Esto a mí me encanta, los actores de voz japoneses se toman su trabajo muy en serio, y la mayoría del tiempo dan un resultado muy bueno, le ponen más pasión-amor a sus proyectos que cualquier otro actor de doblaje de la industria. También conoceremos a Ruby, la otra hija de Ai, una chica dulce y amigable, que decide convertirse en una gran Idol como su mamá.. Conforme va avanzando la serie, podemos esa clase de amor-odio que existe entre hermanos, algo bastante común en la realidad..

El reparto de secundarios de esta serie también me parecen súper interesantes y geniales. Tenemos a la actriz infantil Kana, quien conoce a Aqua desde pequeños, y se le nota que empieza a desarrollar sentimientos hacia él.. También conoceremos a la actriz Akane, uno de los personajes mejor desarrollados en esta historia. Todos ellos le dan vida a esta historia, es muy interesante ver lo misterioso y peligroso que puede ser el mundo de la farándula japonesa, un espacio donde los sueños se logran derramando lágrimas de sangre, e incluso estos mismos sueños pueden acabar destrizándote física y psicológicamente.

Esta serie se es muy buena porque te muestra lo que hay detrás del espectáculo, más allá del glamur, y las cosas buenas.. Hay lágrimas, dolor, rencores.. y miles de sentimientos. Una persona normal como fan no tendría idea de nada de lo que pasa tras toda esa fachada de perfección, y esto se podría sumar a la realidad fácilmente. En cuanto a los aspectos técnicos, tengo que hablar de la sublime dirección de animación que tiene este anime! Las actuaciones, la música, los diseños de personaje.. toda la animación en general me pareció perfecta. Las enormes secuencias de conciertos me parecieron geniales, poseen toda esa energía y color.. es hermoso.

I was able to empathize with several characters, that's a big plus, you can connect with them, and see everything they feel or represent. Rating for this anime... I give it a ***9/10***. It could be a perfect ten, but if I get analytical.... There were things related to Aqua's actions that I didn't like, and also some episodes have a lot of text, to explain certain things about the world of entertainment, to be on the subject, but it can become a little tedious.

Even so, it is definitely one of the best of last year, I had a long time without seeing something of this quality. Totally recommended, Oshi no Ko made me wait week after week for a new chapter... This doesn't get it from any series I watch. If you think it's not for you, I invite you to give it a chance, at least finish the first chapter, and I assure you that you will want to know what happens next. This series offers drama, mystery, and a touch of romance, accompanied by beautiful animation. The plot may not be the greatest thing, but the way it's executed... it's practically perfect. I share with you the amazing Opening of this series, which was also one of the best of the year, and one of the most popular, performed by the amazing singer YOASOBI, who is really making waves in the world of anime music lately.

Otra cosa que aplaudo fue esa manera tan real de representación del acoso cibernético englobado en algunos episodios, fue algo muy real, algo que te crees que pasa debido a todo el poder que tienen los haters para hacer daño, mayormente detrás de una pantalla, algo para reflexionar. Pude empatizar con varios personajes, eso es un gran punto a favor, se puede conectar con ellos, y ver todo lo que sienten o representan. De calificación a este anime.. le doy un 9/10. Podría ser un diez perfecto, pero sí me pongo analítico.. Hubo cosas relacionadas con las acciones de Aqua que no me terminaron de gustar, y también algunos episodios tienen mucho texto, para explicar ciertas cosas del mundo del entretenimiento, para estar en materia, pero puede volverse un poco tedioso.

Aun así, es sin duda de lo mejor del año pasado, tenía tiempo sin ver algo de esta calidad. Totalmente recomendado, Oshi no Ko hizo que estuviera esperando semana a semana un nuevo capítulo.. Esto no lo consigue cualquier serie que veo. Si crees que no es para ti, te invito a darle una oportunidad, al menos termina el primer capítulo, y te aseguro que quedaras queriendo saber que va a pasar después. Esta serie te ofrece drama, misterio, y un toquecito de romance, acompañado de una hermosa animación. Puede ser que la trama no sea la gran cosa, pero la manera en como está ejecutada.. es prácticamente perfecta. Te comparto el increíble Opening de esta serie, que fue también unos de los mejores del año, y de los más populares, interpretado por la increíble cantante YOASOBI, que últimamente está sonando bastante en el mundo de la música anime.

Hello everyone, I'm here again for my third post for the contest at @theanimerealm, and I'm so happy to still be able to continue.

The anime I wanted to introduce is a movie that was produced by Doga Kobo in 2023 and named "Oshi no Ko.". It was the film that gained a lot of popularity when it was produced. I got to know the series through trending posts on Twitter when the first episode was released; everybody started posting about it, and the movie was indeed trending on every social media platform. The first episode indeed had a lot of popularity and was rated 9.9/10 on ImDb that year. I can still remember. But I was someone who doesn't like watching a trending series weekly, like watching one episode today and waiting for next week. I waited for the release of the full season before I started watching. Before continuing, let me talk a little about the plot of the movie. There are different plot twists in the movie, so I won't be giving major spoilers; rather, I'll be talking about the general aspect of the movie.

Oshi no Ko is the story of a 16-year-old popular actress of the upcoming prospect named "B-Komachi" who had a pregnancy at an early age and took a quick hiatus to free herself from any criticism. He came to a very isolated area to have her baby before continuing with her career. A gynecologist named Gorou was given the task of being the person to deliver her baby. The gynecologist (Gorou) was a die-hard fan of the artist, which was initiated on him by his former patient, who had cancer at an early age. The girl was originally a fan of the artist, and she was very enthusiastic about the artist. At first, he didn't quite understand why people praise idols, but along the way, he became a fan of the artist.

On the night of Ai's delivery, Gorou was murdered by an obsessive fan of Ai, and he was reincarnated as one of the children of Ai. Imagine waking up as the child of the actress of your dreams. It was so delightful for him, as he was very happy. The first episode was the pace setter for the whole anime; normally, I'd say that there are 11 episodes, but the first episode is a movie of about 1 hour. The first episode introduces the whole concept of what the producer is trying to pass across. Also in the first episode, there are lots of plot twists, as the first episode was filled with laughter, joy,sorrow, excitement, and sadness. It has a whole feeling to it. When I was watching the first episode, I was filled with mixed emotions from the beginning of the episode to the end, and I can say that the movie was worth the hype.

As you all know, I'm a fan that watches mainly Isekai and adventures most of the time, but I can assure you that if you start this series, you'll never want to leave the series till you finish it. It has all this all-around estasy in it that I don't want to miss a second of the series, prompting you to watch every part of it without leaving a single spot. In fact, I finished this anime in a single night.

My Reaction to this Anime

When I wanted to start this anime, I told myself, Let's see what this movie has in store and why the anime is so hyped, but by the time I finished episode 1, I was filled with the feeling that I should continue, and I ended up finishing the whole season in the same night. After finishing it, I was a little bit sad because, as interesting as it was, it was short (about 11 episodes).

For the music in the lyrics, every song caught my attention, as it was very good. As we know, it's about showbiz and entertainment, so the music really caught my attention.

The art was well made and good, most especially Ai's eyes and other characters. It was very good. Moreover, the art is simple and clear.

Furthermore, this anime really talked about what the artists really used to face in the entertainment industry, as we see different problems Ai faced during her ordeals to become a better actress. Thinking about it really made me a little sad. Overall, the anime is very interesting, and the story line is captivating, so it is one that I truly fall in love with.

Hello everyone, today I come to talk about a very popular anime called Oshi no Ko. Created by the mangaka Aka Akasaka, creator of Kaguya Sama love is war. The series tells the story of Goto. A doctor who is a big fan of a group of idols called B-Komashi, especially a big fan of one of its members the beautiful Ai Hoshino. Who is only 16 years old. The doctor's fanaticism is due to the fact that one of his patients was also a fan, to whom the doctor was very fond of. But unfortunately she ends up dying of cancer.

One day, Ai Hoshino herself shows up at the clinic, who we surprisingly discover is pregnant with twins. Ai and Goto end up becoming good friends, and Goto promises her that her babies will be born safe and sound. But one night before the birth, a stranger throws Goto off a cliff causing his death but.... Incredibly...Goto is reborn as one of Ai's twins! From now on Goto's name will be Aqua, a name given to him by Ai because of the intense blue of his eyes.

Aqua will have to live being Ai's son and will see the difficulties of being an Idol, he will also have to learn to get along with his twin sister named Ruby. Who is the same girl who died of cancer. Later when the twins were 4 years old, the same guy who killed Aqua in his past life, stabs Ai causing her death. It is explained to us that the twins' father actually ordered the guy to kill Ai. Now Aqua seeks revenge, find out who his father is, and kill him. The opening of Oshi no Ko was the most listened to on Spotify. The animation is amazing. With a good mix between drama and mystery. Undoubtedly one of the best anime of 2023.

I end this review by recommending this manga especially to young people who enjoy these lighter readings, and who want to take a step further into the genre. For them this work will surely be a revolution because they will see unusual topics and also with a slightly more adult perspective than usual. For those who are not curious about any of this, I do not think it is a very attractive work, even more so when in the last few volumes it starts to be a bit lengthy and the story begins to feel a bit repetitive.

Now I suggest you watch Oshi no Ko and why should you watch it ?

For starters, because the first episode is simply spectacular. Doga Kobo did an incredible job with an hour-long special that could very well stand on its own as a unique story.

Secondly, because with the twins Aqua and Ruby everyone has to choose that male or female protagonist to feel more identified with.

Thirdly, because if you are a fan of Detective Conan, the story that Aqua is about to begin has all the signs of being one with similar overtones. In the end, the fact of wanting to find her father, whom she considers the main culprit of Ai's death, will undoubtedly be a long and complete process.

I have a lot of favorite animes including One Piece and Detective Conan but I've already talked about them in another post so I'll share another favorite that you haven't yet known. Can you guess?

Oshi No Ko is my favorite anime. Could you have guessed it? Despite the anime being released just this spring of this year, I've already watched it 3 or more times. That's how I love this anime.

Trivia! Did you know the meaning of Oshi in the title means to support or be a fan of? Ko can be a little tricky but it directly translates to kid or young one. So the title Oshi No Ko translates to Your Favorite Idol or it could be Someone You Want To Support. The meaning behind the title is yet to be explained though and we might know in the next seasons.

Oshi No Ko's story revolves around the Hoshino family.

Hoshino Ai was a well-loved idol who became a mom at such a young age. She kept this to the public though and only a few knew about her pregnancy and being a single mother. She loved her children and she loved her fame.

Her twins, Ruby and Aqua, were her fans, even before they were born. You see, they were reincarnated and their old lives' memories have been kept. So when they were still babies, they demonstrated gifted skills, but the truth was their mind was just that of an adult for Aqua and a young teenager for Ruby.

Spoiler! Despite her popularity, Ai would die. She died young. Aqua and Ruby were devastated, and so was Ai's talent agency. But Aqua realized something and made a decision to seek vengeance for Ai's death. He's on the hunt for his father who he thinks might have something to do with Ai's death. All of this happened in Episode 1. And let me warn you, Episode 1 is like a movie. LOL

Ruby and Aqua grew up well despite Ai not being around. They were adopted. Ruby grew up wanting to be an idol like her mom, and Aqua being an actor here and there. The teenage life of the twins started in Episode 2.

I won't bore you more with the story, you just have to watch it and you'll know what I'm talking about!

Why has this become my favorite? I am not so sure myself. I didn't have any plans of watching this because I don't really watch idol genre. But when I started watching it, I never stopped. Last month, I even rewatched the first season and couldn't wait for the next. Perhaps there's a spell cast upon me to like this anime and rewatch it from time to time.

The story doesn't really just evolve on how being an idol is or how to seek revenge or how to pursue your dreams. There's the behind the scenes - the ugly truth no one talks about show business. Sensitive topics like getting bashed online leading to suicidal attempts were also tackled and it's a big thing in Japan. Back then, there was a reality TV show that stopped airing because one lady was being criticized online and it was rumored that she couldn't take the criticisms and ended up killing herself. It's a similar scene in the anime and when I would watch that part, I would end up recalling that sad story.

There are so many shocking truths that you can learn just by watching the anime.

I've yet to acquire collectibles on this anime, or wait, I probably already have but I don't know what or where I put it. 😅 If you know me, I don't really read manga but out of curiosity (again!), I read a chapter in the manga when I was in Coco Ichibanya, a Japanese food chain popular in Japan where you could read free manga. Of course, I want to collect all the manga but probably when I have extra money to spend.

The OST of this anime is not to be missed. I think this is one of the animes that I didn't skip the intro because I just want to listen to the song every now and then. Yoasobi sang the song アイドル (or Idol) and it's been on the top charts in Japan for a while. I always sang this in karaoke too! When the song came out in one karaoke store, there was a long line outside that karaoke place. It's that popular!

And oh yeah, just today Spotify notified me of my Wrapped 2023, and guess what song was on top of my list? You guessed it right! It's the opening song of the anime!

The ending song, Mephisto by Queen Bee, is also a favorite! It's also on my playlist. You should give it a listen on Youtube.

The story, the song - they're all perfect. And I love the animation too! I don't really mind what studio takes care of that but I'm glad they did a good job on the animation. I super like it!

I actually just started watching this anime out of curiosity since it had become the top TV show in Japan when it came out. See, sometimes curiosity takes you to wonders. I'm glad I pressed that play button!

You should give it a watch too! Ooooh I just couldn't wait for next year and see how season 2 goes!

In Japan, the world of idols seems to be a dream world; however, it is no secret to anyone that it is also full of shady and dangerous things. Oshi No Ko is an anime set in this turbulent industry, and in eleven episodes it introduces us to a plot full of mystery and music. The story follows Aquamarine and Ruby Hoshino, two young twin brothers looking to make their way in the entertainment industry. Ruby dreams of becoming an Idol, while Aqua uses her charm and acumen to excel in the acting field. Both are hiding big secrets, as they are the clandestine children of a famous ex-Idol.

With this brief description, it might seem that Oshi No Ko is a generic anime about idols without much to offer; however, I must say that it is one of the series that has surprised me the most due to the amount of topics it covers. In fact, I had to think very carefully about what approach I would give to this review in order not to reveal important details of the plot, as there were details that left me really shocked.

The Story

The story is divided in two parts; in the first one, which works as a sort of prologue to the real plot, we meet Ai Hoshino, a talented Idol who lives a teenage pregnancy, from which twins Ruby and Aquamarine are born. During the first episode, which is over an hour long, we see Ai struggle to hide her pregnancy and her children, while trying to maintain her image as the most relevant Idol of the moment. The second part of Oshi No Ko takes place years after the end of Ai's career and focuses on her children: Ruby and Aqua.

It is in the second part where the real action begins and where practically all the events of the anime take place. Although it apparently focuses on the realisation of the goals and dreams of Ai's young sons, there is a subplot in which one of the twins sets out on a mission to find his father. In this context, they are unaware not only of the father's identity, but also consider the possibility that he is one of those responsible for the end of Ai's Idol career.

Despite appearing to be a seemingly "harmless" anime, it deals with strong themes such as suicide, harassment, bullying, murder, teenage pregnancy and even child abandonment. It also exposes the hypersexualisation of idols in Japan, where it doesn't matter if they are teenagers; they are followed, loved and bullied by everyone, including young people and adults. I found it quite grotesque to see how normalised it is for adult men to fantasise about and fall in love with middle and high school girls, especially since it's not always presented as something completely wrong.

While this series is a departure from everything I'm used to seeing and enjoying, I have to agree that I liked it a lot; not only is the story of the idols surprisingly interesting, the character development is good, there are unexpected twists and turns, and there is also a strong critique of the entertainment industry. This is not only limited to the idols, but also to the content creators, actors, directors, and management and advertising agencies. This last part is what makes it belong to the "Seinen" demographic and is what attracted me to it the most, as they expose a lot of manipulations and shady things in the industry in a very fascinating way.

Animation and Music

This is one of the strengths of "Oshi No Ko". Visually, it is very well done; the character designs are beautiful and striking, especially Ai Hoshino, who has a truly beautiful design, as do her children. But since not everything is rosy in this anime, the shady moments are also adequately depicted and manage to contrast perfectly with the whole festive atmosphere of the idols and the show.

As you'd expect from a series focused on idols, there's music everywhere, which is generic to a certain extent, although that's not to say it's bad; it's just the typical beats associated with these groups. What did stand out, for me, were the opening and ending; each is "interpreted" by one of the twins, and they mix rhythms in a quite interesting way, as well as being accompanied by animation that is just as good and attractive as the rest of the series.

After I finished watching it, I understood why it is one of the highest rated anime of the year. It tackles conventional themes from a different and more mature perspective, without becoming tedious or boring. Thanks to its success, it has been renewed for a second season, and I can't wait to find out the identity of the twins' father Hoshino and see if the twins will be able to fulfill their dreams and those of their mother.

En Japón, el mundo de las idols pareciera ser un mundo de ensueño; sin embargo, no es un secreto para nadie que también está lleno de cosas turbias y peligrosas. Oshi No Ko es un anime ambientado en esa turbulenta industria y en once episodios nos introduce en una trama llena de misterios y música. La historia sigue a Aquamarine y Ruby Hoshino, dos jóvenes hermanos gemelos que buscan abrirse paso en la industria del espectáculo. Ruby sueña con ser una Idol, mientras que Aqua utiliza su encanto y perspicacia para destacar en el campo de la actuación. Ambos ocultan grandes secretos, ya que son los hijos clandestinos de una famosa ex-Idol.

Con esta breve descripción, podría parecer que Oshi No Ko es un anime genérico sobre idols sin mucho que ofrecer; sin embargo, debo decir que es una de las series que más me ha sorprendido debido a la cantidad de temas que abarca. De hecho, tuve que pensar muy bien en qué enfoque le daría a esta reseña para no revelar detalles importantes de la trama, ya que hubo detalles que me dejaron verdaderamente impactada.

La Historia

La historia se divide en dos partes; en la primera, que funciona como una especie de prólogo a la verdadera trama, conocemos a Ai Hoshino, una talentosa Idol que vive un embarazo adolescente, del cual nacen los gemelos Ruby y Aquamarine. Durante el primer episodio, de más de una hora de duración, vemos a Ai luchar por esconder su embarazo y a sus hijos, mientras intenta mantener su imagen como la Idol más relevante del momento. La segunda parte de Oshi No Ko se desarrolla años después del fin de la carrera de Ai y se enfoca en los hijos de esta: Ruby y Aqua.

Es en la segunda parte donde la verdadera acción comienza y donde prácticamente transcurren todos los hechos del anime. Aunque aparentemente se centra en la realización de las metas y sueños de los jóvenes hijos de Ai, hay una subtrama en la que uno de los gemelos emprende una misión con el objetivo de encontrar a su padre. En este contexto, desconocen no solo la identidad del padre, sino que también consideran la posibilidad de que sea uno de los responsables del fin de la carrera de Idol de Ai.

A pesar de parecer un anime aparentemente "inofensivo", trata temas fuertes como el suicidio, acoso, bullying, asesinato, embarazo adolescente e incluso abandono infantil. Además, expone la hipersexualización que viven las idols en Japón, donde no importa si son adolescentes; son seguidas, amadas y acosadas por todos, incluyendo a jóvenes y a adultos. Me pareció bastante grotesco ver lo normalizado que está que hombres adultos fantaseen y se enamoren de jovencitas de secundaria y preparatoria, sobre todo porque no siempre lo presentan como algo completamente malo.

Si bien esta serie se sale de todo lo que estoy acostumbrada a ver y a disfrutar, debo aceptar que me gustó bastante; no solo la historia de las idols es sorpresivamente interesante, el desarrollo de los personajes es bueno, tiene giros inesperados y además una fuerte crítica a la industria del entretenimiento. Esto no solo se limita al ámbito de las idols, sino también a los creadores de contenido, actores, directores y agencias de managers y de publicidad. Esta última parte es lo que la hace pertenecer a la demografía "Seinen" y es lo que más me atrajo de ella, ya que exponen muchas manipulaciones y cosas turbias de la industria de manera sumamente interesante.

Animación y Música

Este es uno de los puntos fuertes de "Oshi No Ko". Visualmente, está muy bien realizada; el diseño de los personajes es hermoso y llamativo, sobre todo el de Ai Hoshino, que tiene un diseño verdaderamente bello, al igual que sus hijos. Pero como no todo es color de rosa en este anime, los momentos turbios también están representados adecuadamente y logran contrastar a la perfección con todo el ambiente festivo de las idols y el espectáculo.

Como es de esperarse de una serie enfocada en idols, hay música por doquier, la cual es hasta cierto punto genérica, aunque eso no quiere decir que sea mala; simplemente son los típicos ritmos que se asocian a esos grupos. Los que sí destacaron, para mí, fueron el opening y el ending; cada uno es “interpretado” por uno de los gemelos y mezclan ritmos de forma bastante interesante, además de ir acompañados por una animación igual de buena y atractiva que el resto de la serie.

Después de terminar de verla, entendí por qué es uno de los animes mejor puntuados del año. Aborda temas convencionales desde una perspectiva diferente y más madura, sin hacerse tediosa o aburrida. Gracias a su éxito, ha sido renovada para una segunda temporada, y la verdad es que no puedo esperar para descubrir la identidad del padre de los gemelos Hoshino y ver si estos logran cumplir sus sueños y los de su madre.

Obviously SNK had to be here, it has been one of the most popular anime of the last years and I really liked its story (not the character hahahaha) since the first time I saw it (which nobody asked me for, I met him and a few months later the 2nd season came out and then I saw that the fans had been waiting for it for years). Here I will only show the 3 that I like the most until today, they are my favorites of the whole series.

Obviamente SNK tenia que estar aquí, ha sido uno de los animes mas populares de estos últimos años y a mi me gusto mucho su historia (no el personaje jajajaja) desde la primera vez que lo vi (que dato que nadie me pidió, lo conocí y unos meses después salió la 2da temporada y luego vi que los fans llevaban años esperándola). Aquí solo mostrare las 3 que mas me gustan hasta el día de hoy, son mis favoritas de toda la serie.

Linked Horizon - 紅蓮の弓矢 (Guren no Yumiya): This one I think is obvious, or at least for me, it's the first opening song, for me, it sounds pretty epic, I liked it since I heard it for the first time. cinema staff - great escape: I feel that this ending didn't get much attention, it's the second closing song and I really like it a lot, I don't have much to say, just that if you haven't listened to it I don't know what you've been doing all this time. I remember when this series came out, people went crazy, I think that's when the so called "otakus by fashion" were born (if anyone knows if it was before, please let me know) I had several acquaintances everywhere telling me "you have to watch it", I think I saw it shortly after the last chapter of the first season came out. Here in particular I will only talk about two that I liked too much and obviously both are played by mother LiSA.

Aquí particularmente solo hablare de dos que me han gustado demasiado y obviamente las dos son interpretadas por madre LiSA.

I was quite undecided which anime to put last, since I didn't want to give a space to anime that I only liked one song and I decided for this one which was too popular at the time, as with SAO, you don't know the amount of "Kaneki" that I found in the vast world of the internet.

A couple of weeks ago was released the first chapter of the anime titled Oshi No Ko which apparently was about the story of an Idol named Ai Hoshino and also has an incredible and detailed design in her eyes, although I have never read this manga I knew from several pages of anime fans that it was quite good and many had a great excitement with its adaptation to anime, although as soon as its first chapter was released it was quite praised by the fans I was a bit doubtful about whether to watch it or not and this was mainly due to its own first chapter where they decided to make a form of release not so common in the industry as it is to make the first chapter with a much longer duration than the average reaching almost to the point of being a feature film like a movie. The first chapter of Oshi No Ko has a duration of 82 minutes and after watching it without a doubt it is an incredible work with a fantastic development and that managed to use a movie to create the emotion and present what will probably be one of the most popular anime of this season, being a chapter similar to a movie and being such a well developed work I decided to give my opinion about this great premiere although it will have some slight spoilers but it will not be something that has not already been seen on the internet in these weeks.

The first thing that introduces us to the story is a doctor who by fate and after a sad experience ends up meeting Hoshino Ai in his early days as an Idol and becomes a big fan of hers, although he only sees her on television recordings, after a while we see how AI ends up being his patient in the hospital and begins to create a friendship between the two with some fanaticism on the part of the doctor. In order not to make big Spoiler I will only mention that later we will see how AI ends up being an Idol mother of twins and we even see some elements of the Isekai in this anime so it ends up being much more than a simple Idol anime and the development of the story can be much deeper and dramatic than what we might be used to especially taking into account that at the beginning it was thought to be nothing more than a Slife of Life or another musical anime of Idols.

Something very interesting and entertaining to see is how the characters of AI and her two children develop, where it ends up showing that not everything in the life of an Idol is as beautiful and joyful as it may seem and how it really ends up being a complicated and conflictive world where one of the main qualities that AI must have and that she develops so much that even affects her at a personal and mental level is the quality of lying, Lying is not always done with bad intentions but AI comes to feel that her whole life and herself as a person is made of only lies and that can affect her to achieve true happiness but with her two children she seems to be able to get some of this feeling.

Although this first chapter focuses in some way on AI's life and career as an Idol and even presents some very good scenes of her performances there are not many scenes of events and songs where we have many musical themes and in the few scenes of this style, although it has a musical theme in the background it does not focus on the music and instead it will be based more on AI's own thoughts or her children where the voices will be above the idol music giving us to understand that at least in this first chapter AI's musical career will not be the main thing or what is most wanted to be shown in the development of the chapter. Although the name of Doga Kobo is not yet so well known with Oshi No Ko we are seeing how it can be at the level of the biggest in the industry delivering an incredible and amazing quality and level of detail where as is often common in the world of anime the best scenes and works always tend to stand out in the eyes of the protagonists, the animation in general of Oshi No Ko is quite good where it highlights a great level of detail and a clear contrast between the use of intense and vivid colors but if we want to appreciate the full potential of this animation, the same will be in the scenes close to the faces of AI and his children especially in those shots where only show us in brightness in his eyes with an incredible amount of detail and sharpness worthy of a work of art, the most sentimental or funny scenes of this chapter are accompanied by an exceptional level of animation and if the same is maintained throughout the season we will have a fantastic anime in visual terms and that will undoubtedly be a wonder to see.

The end of this first chapter managed to have a shocking, dramatic culmination that undoubtedly manages to captivate the interest of all to follow the story in its next chapters, the most striking thing was how at the end we discovered that perhaps we were wrong about what would be the approach that would have the anime and how for those who have not seen the manga the story ends up taking a very different course than you might think, once seen this first chapter is not a mystery why it has been so accepted and considered by many as a true work of art in the world of anime.

Hace un par de semanas se estrenó el primer capítulo del anime titulado Oshi No Ko el cual aparentemente se trataba sobre la historia de una Idol llamada Ai Hoshino y que además cuenta con un diseño increíble y detallado en sus ojos, aunque nunca he leído este manga si sabía por varias páginas de fanáticos del anime que resultaba ser bastante bueno y muchos tenían una gran emoción con su adaptación al anime, aunque apenas se estrenó su primer capítulo fue bastante alabado por los fans yo estaba algo dudoso sobre si verlo o no y esto se debía principalmente a su propio primer capítulo en donde decidieron hacer una forma de estreno no tan común en la industria como lo es hacer el primer capítulo con una duración mucho mayor a la media llegando casi al punto de ser un largometraje como una película. El primer capítulo de Oshi No Ko tiene una duración de 82 minutos y luego de visto sin lugar a dudas es una obra increíble con un desarrollo fantástico y que logro utilizar una película para crear la emoción y presentar lo que probablemente será de los animes más populares de esta temporada, al tratarse de un capitulo similar a una película y resultar ser una obra tan bien desarrollado decidí dar mi opinión sobre este gran estreno aunque tendrá unos ligeros Spoiler pero no será algo que ya no haya sido visto en internet en estas semanas.

Lo primero que nos presenta la historia es a un doctor quien por azares del destino y luego de una vivencia triste termina conociendo a Hoshino Ai en sus inicios como Idol y se vuelve un gran fanático suyo, aunque solamente la ve por grabaciones de televisión, después de un tiempo vemos como AI termina siendo su paciente en el hospital y se empieza a crear una amistad entre ambos con algo de fanatismo por parte del doctor. Para no hacer grandes Spoiler solo mencionare que más adelante veremos cómo AI termina siendo una Idol madre de dos gemelos e incluso vemos algunos elementos del Isekai en este anime por lo cual termina siendo mucho más que un simple anime de Idols y el desarrollo de la historia puede resultar mucho más profundo y dramático de lo que podríamos estar acostumbrados en especial tomando en cuenta que al principio se llega a pensar que no sería más que un Slife of Life u otro anime musical de Idols.

Algo muy interesante y entretenido de ver es como se van desarrollando los personajes de IA y sus dos hijos en donde se termina mostrando que no todo en la vida de una Idol es tan bello y alegre como puede parecer y como en verdad termina siendo un mundo complicado y conflictivo en donde una de las principales cualidades que debe tener IA y que llega a desarrollar tanto que incluso la afecta a nivel personal y mental es la cualidad de mentir, Mentir no siempre se hace con malas intenciones pero AI llega a sentir que toda su vida y ella misma como persona está hecha de solo mentiras y eso la puede llegar a afectar para conseguir una autentica felicidad pero con sus dos hijos sí parece poder conseguir algo de este sentimiento.

Aunque puede parecer que la protagonista será AI y aunque si tiene una gran importancia en el desarrollo de la historia, así como tener unas de las escenas más increíbles y animadas a un nivel profesional muy elevado la misma no termina de ser el centro de toda la historia y serán sus dos hijos quienes ocupen este rol con su personalidad tan llamativa, entretenida y al mismo tiempo algo opuestas entre sí, incluso vemos como ambos superan algunas restricciones propias y quieren seguir el camino de la fama como lo está haciendo su propia madre.

A pesar de que este primer capítulo se enfoca en cierta manera en la vida y carrera de AI como una Idol e incluso presenta algunas escenas muy buenas de sus actuaciones no son muchas las escenas de eventos y cantos en donde tengamos muchos temas musicales y en las pocas escenas de este estilo, aunque tiene un tema musical de fondo la misma no se enfoca en la música y en su lugar se basara más en los pensamientos propios de AI o sus hijos en donde las voces estaran por encima de la música de idol dándonos a entender como al menos en este primer capítulo la carrera musical de AI no será lo primordial ni lo que más se desea mostrar en el desarrollo del capítulo. A pesar de que las escenas musicales no son el centro de atención en la historia este primer capítulo cuenta con un Ending muy simple en cuando a la animación pues se trata de simplemente los créditos con un fondo blanco estrellado pero la canción que acompaña a los créditos es muy buena y divertida al mismo tiempo de impartir esa sensación de emoción e euforia que se suele ver en los animes musicales o de Idols, solamente nos presenta un Ending y la historia comienza de una vez sin un Opening, pero este Ending complementa un buen final para este primer capitulo.

Oshi No Ko está siendo adaptado al anime por la empresa Doga Kobo y aunque a simple vista no la reconozco entre las grandes compañías de animación como puede ser Mappa, Kioto, Wit o A1 de las cuales ya estamos acostumbrados a tener grandes obras a nivel artístico, Doga Kobo ha tenido en su historia reciente algunos animes muy interesantes y con animaciones muy buenas como puede ser el caso de Shikimori-San y OsaMake en donde vi completamente las dos y ambas me parecieron buenos trabajos de animación. Aunque aún no es tan conocido el nombre de Doga Kobo con Oshi No Ko estamos viendo cómo puede estar al nivel de los más grandes de la industria entregando una calidad y nivel de detalle increíble y alucinante en donde como suele ser frecuente en el mundo del anime las mejores escenas y trabajos siempre suelen destacarse en los ojos de los protagonistas, la animación en general de Oshi No Ko es bastante buena en donde destaca un gran nivel de detalle y un claro contraste entre el uso de colores intensos y vivos pero si queremos apreciar el máximo potencial de esta animación, la misma será en las escenas cercanas a los rostros de AI y sus hijos especialmente en esos planos donde solamente nos muestran en brillo en sus ojos con una cantidad de detalles y nitidez increíble digna de toda una obra de arte, las escenas más sentimentales o divertidas de este capítulo son acompañadas de un nivel de animación excepcional y si el mismo es mantenido durante toda la temporada tendremos un anime fantástico en términos visuales y que sin dudas sera una maravilla para ver.

El final de este primer capítulo consiguió tener una culminación impactante, dramática y que sin dudas logra cautivar el interés de todos para seguir la historia en sus próximos capítulos, lo más llamativo fue como al final descubrimos que tal vez estábamos equivocados sobre cuál sería el enfoque que tendría el anime y como para aquellos que no hemos visto el manga la historia termina tomando un rumbo muy diferente de lo que se podía pensar, una vez visto este prime capitulo no es un misterio por que ha sido tan aceptado y considerado por muchos como una verdadera obra de arte en el mundo del anime.

¡Good morning to everyone! i greet you again and I give you my warmest welcome to a new post on this platform, this time to give my structured opinion of the latest manga that I have read, and that I really like, it is "Oshi no ko", made by Akasaka Aka (story) and Yokoyari Mengo (Art). Les saludo nuevamente y les doy mi más cordial bienvenida a un nuevo post en esta plataforma, esta vez para dar mi opinión estructurada del último manga que he leído, y que la verdad me está gustando mucho, se trata de “Oshi no ko”, hecho por Akasaka Aka (historia) y Yokoyari Mengo (Arte). Este manga aún está en emisión por lo que algunos pensamientos pueden llegar cambiar para bien o para mal con el paso del tiempo. Bueno, sin más nada que decir, ¡empecemos!

The plot revolves around the world of entertainment, giving a realistic perspective of the life of artists and industries, sometimes exaggerating some aspects to better fulfill what the work wants to convey, but very rarely bordering on fantasy.

The story begins with Hoshino Ai, a 16-year-old idol who after getting pregnant temporarily retires from her job under the facade of having "health problems", and is admitted to a hospital, where she meets Dr. Honda Gorou, who became a fan of Ai after having met an otaku patient, who loved and dreamed of being like her, but unfortunately her illness prevented her from doing so. This could be the presentation of this work, since from a certain point it takes a turn in what turns out to be the real path that the manga will take, which may not generate much emotion in the viewer because of its suddenness, but the scene, and the way it leaves a significant mark on the characters, especially in the lives of the protagonists.

La trama gira en torno al mundo del entretenimiento, dando una perspectiva realista de la vida de los artistas y las industrias, a veces exagerando algunos aspectos para cumplir mejor con lo que la obra quiere transmitir, pero muy pocas veces rozando lo fantasioso.

La historia comienza con Hoshino Ai, una idol de 16 años que tras quedar embarazada se retira temporalmente de su puesto con la fachada de tener “problemas de salud”, y es internada a un hospital, donde conoce al doctor Honda Gorou, el cual se volvió un fanático de Ai tras haber conocido a una paciente otaku, la cual amaba y soñaba con ser como ella, pero lamentablemente su enfermedad se lo impidió. Gorou ayuda a Ai a tener a sus bebes sin que nadie los descubra, pero lastimosamente, el día del parto, Gorou pierde la vida y renace en el cuerpo de uno de los gemelos de Ai (Hoshino Aquamarine), ahora debe forjar su nueva vida, creciendo y acompañando a Ai junto a su hermana (Hoshino Ruby) en su camino a la fama, desarrollando objetivos conforme van creciendo, y sentando las bases de su futuro.

Esta podría ser la presentación de la obra, puesto que a partir de cierto punto la misma toma un giro en lo que resulta ser el verdadero camino que tomará el manga, el cual puede que tal vez no genere mucha emoción en el espectador por lo repentino que es, pero la escena, y la forma en la que deja una marca significante en los personajes, sobretodo en la vida de los protagonistas.

El ritmo de la historia es bastante adecuado, los acontecimientos no se sienten forzados en ningún momento, se maneja muy bien la distribución entre información y acción a lo largo de los capítulos, y en una cantidad que podría ser considerable hasta para un manga mensual, por lo que es normal sentir que pasaron muchas cosas en un solo capítulo, pero cuando se dan explicaciones de varios temas tampoco se siente forzado, siendo algo que valoro mucho debido a que varios mangas no tienen mucho control sobre este balance.

Oshi no ko's entertainment world tries to portray a more "faithful" version of this world in real life, so it avoids falling into fantasies or idealism related to it, but not getting to the crude or pessimistic (being realistic is not equivalent to that everything must be serious and drama, besides, it is a shonen whose one of its messages is to follow your dreams, that kind of thing I think would not fit the purpose of the work); so aspects such as trends, social networks, their influence in the world and the people affected socially and psychologically, how are the relationships in the industries and the way of thinking of those who have been more or less time in this world, etc, are fundamental elements that are part of the development of the work and that give it touches of naturalness, both for good and bad, not because they are badly exposed, but because sometimes it reminds you how rotten the human being can be.

El mundo del espectáculo de Oshi no ko trata de retratar una versión un poco más “fiel” de este mundo en la vida real, por lo que evita recaer en fantasías o idealismos relacionados al mismo, pero tampoco llegando a lo crudo o pesimista (ser realista tampoco es equivalente a que todo deba ser seriedad y drama, además, es un shonen cuyo uno de sus mensajes es seguir tus sueños, ese tipo de cosas creo que no encajaría con el propósito de la obra); por lo que aspectos como las tendencias, las redes sociales, su influencia en el mundo y en las personas afectadas social y psicológicamente, el cómo son las relaciones en las industrias y la forma de pensar de aquellos que llevan más o menos tiempo en este mundo, etc, son elementos fundamentales que forman parte del desarrollo de la obra y que le dan toques de naturalidad, tanto para bien, como para mal, no porque sean mal expuestas, sino porque a veces te recuerda lo podrido que puede llegar a ser el ser humano.

The same can be said of the representation of the fragility of the human being and fame, both can be equally fleeting, since today you may be enjoying yourself, but who knows what tomorrow will bring, at any moment you can make a mistake and become yesterday's news, stop being relevant, or simply... Stop being.

En general el este aspecto está muy bien trabajado, me gusta particularmente la forma en la que nos muestran este mundo, ya que no todo se resume en blanco y negro (bueno, es un manga… Ustedes me entienden), hay aspectos morales y legales que chocan, no todos piensan de la misma forma, lo que es conveniente para algunos no lo es para otros, y puedes pensar que tienes la razón cuando no es así, puedes estarte moviendo en la forma que te parezca correcta según tu forma de pensar, pero puedes terminar equivocándote, dañando algo o a alguien en el proceso. Lo mismo se puede decir de la representación de la fragilidad del ser humano y de la fama, pudiendo ser ambos tan fugaces por igual, ya que hoy puedes estar disfrutando, pero quién sabe lo que te depare el mañana, en cualquier momento puedes cometer un error y pasar a ser noticia de ayer, dejar de ser relevante, o simplemente… Dejar de estar.

Los personajes de este manga son dotados de una personalidad, pensamiento y accionar característico, influenciados por su vivencias en el pasado y desarrollándose con cada interacción o evento que ocurre a en el transcurso de la obra, de manera en que todo lo que se ha mostrado ha servido para algo, tanto en el avance profesional como individual del personaje en cuestión, y no quedando en el aire, lo cual es bastante positivo, ya que esto permite empatizar más fácilmente con los personajes, y poder verlos crecer con cada capítulo que sale. Esta vez sólo profundizaré en los protagonistas para que esto no se vuelva más extenso.

He is one of the co-protagonists of the manga, who together with his sister keeps two secrets, being the first one, that they are Ai's children, and the second one, that they keep the memories of their past life; he is a quite intelligent and cunning young man, expected features of a former doctor, in the beginning, he had no specific goal beyond enjoying his new life next to Ai, but certain events turned him into a cold and calculating person, who is moved by a dark goal, and being tormented by traumas from his past.

This has prevented Aqua from being the same since then, but it doesn't make him stop being human, he still cares about his sister to a level where they call him a siscon (although the reason behind this is understandable to the viewer), he still gets excited about some things even if he tries to hide it, and he doesn't hesitate to help those who need it.

Es uno de los coprotagonistas del manga, que junto a su hermana guarda dos secretos, siendo el primero, que son hijos de Ai, y el segundo, que conservan los recuerdos de su vida pasada; es un joven bastante inteligente y astuto, rasgos esperables de un antiguo doctor, en un comienzo no tenía ningún objetivo en específico más allá de disfrutar su nueva vida al lado de Ai, pero ciertos acontecimientos lo convirtieron en una persona fría y calculadora, que se mueve por un objetivo oscuro, y siendo atormentado por traumas de su pasado.

Esto ha evitado que Aqua sea el mismo desde ese entonces, pero no hace que deje de ser humano, se sigue preocupando por su hermana a un nivel en el que llegan a llamarlo siscon (aunque el motivo detrás de esto sea entendible para el espectador), sigue emocionándose por algunas cosas aunque trate de esconderlo, y no duda al momento de ayudar a quienes lo necesiten.

Después del prólogo puede llegar a parecer el típico edgy de turno, pero tiene mejor desenvolvimiento del que uno podría esperar, ya que usualmente para esta clase de cambios se recurre a la re escritura, o a la dramatización exagerada, pero esta obra trata la situación como lo que es, un trauma y profundo resentimiento, podríamos dar parcialmente el ejemplo de Mushoku Tensei y los primeros capítulos de Tate no yuusha y el daño que provocó en la psiquis de los protagonistas todo el mal que le hicieron, en el caso de Naofumi dejando marcas en su personalidad, hábitos, etc, y en el caso de Rudeus, en la forma en la que se relaciona con otros o se niega a ciertas cosas por los recuerdos que lo atormentan; esto vuelve a Aqua un buen ejemplo al hablar sobre este tema, pues sigue siendo la misma persona, pero el centrarse tanto en su fuerte deseo cambió su actitud y comportamiento, impidiéndose a sí mismo poder apreciar y disfrutar genuinamente de los buenos momentos.

The other co-protagonist of this story, a cheerful, passionate girl, with big dreams and a desire to live her life. She, like Aqua, has memories of her previous life (I think her identity is obvious, but I won't say it because it counts as a spoiler -.-); she, like Aqua, admires Ai a lot and decides to follow her steps on the path to stardom as an idol, which was her great dream since her past life, and no matter how many adversities she has faced, she has never given up.

Her effort to be able to fulfill her dream is something that is seen from a very early age, since despite this time having a body that did allow her to achieve what she has always longed for, she still had to overcome the habits she acquired unconsciously due to her illness, having to fight against that to move forward, from there on we only have to see what she has to do to reach her destiny.

La otra coprotagonista de esta historia, una chica alegre, apasionada, de grandes sueños y ganas de vivir su vida. Ella al igual que Aqua tiene recuerdos de su anterior vida (Creo que es obvia su identidad, pero no la diré porque cuenta como spoiler -.-); ella al igual que Aqua admira mucho a Ai, y decide seguir sus pasos en el camino del estrellato como una idol, lo cual era su gran sueño desde su vida pasada, y por muchas adversidades que se le hayan presentado, nunca se ha rendido.

Su esfuerzo para poder cumplir su sueño es algo que se ve desde muy temprana edad, ya que a pesar de esta vez contar con un cuerpo que sí le permitía alcanzar lo que siempre ha añorado, aún tenía que superar los hábitos que adquirió inconscientemente debido a su enfermedad, teniendo que luchar contra eso para poder seguir adelante, a partir de allí sólo nos queda ver lo que tiene que hacer para llegar a su destino.

She still has a long way to go, maybe her optimism can play against her at some point, but if she wants to become an idol as great as her mother, she has to overcome all these obstacles and move forward with her head held high.

El mayor valor de este personaje es su motivación, la razón del por la cual le apasiona todo lo que tenga que ver con ser una idol, pues este personaje desde el comienzo está viviendo un sueño, todo lo que deseaba antes se le fue concebido, y por esto no le ve sentido a retroceder ni quedarse estancada, pues conoce lo que es realmente no tener la capacidad de hacer algo por más que lo haya querido, y conociendo su contexto, realmente todas las líneas en la que habla acerca de cumplir su sueño son muy motivadoras, a veces hasta emotivas; bien naturalmente este afán y optimismo constante a veces la vuelven una persona poco realista y poco objetiva, puede que hasta tonta, pero esto es compensado por su carisma. Aún le queda un gran camino que recorrer, tal vez su optimismo pueda llegar a jugarle en contra en algún momento, pero si quiere llegar a ser una idol tan grande como su madre, ha de superar todos estos obstáculos y avanzar con la frente en alto.
