   Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar sobre una película que me fascinaba en mi infancia y hasta la fecha me parece una película muy buena que cada vez que tengo la posibilidad de verla lo hago, por esta razón es que hoy les vengo a hablar sobre Click

   Click (o Como se le conoce en Latinoamérica “click: perdiendo el control”) es una película estadounidense de comedia lanzada en el año 2006, protagonizada por Adam Sandler, Kate Beckinsale y Christopher Walken, dirigida por Frank Coraci y producida por Happy Madison.

   Cabe destacar que Adam Sandler siempre ha sido un actor que genera mucha discusión, hay personas que le encanta su trabajo pero hay otras personas que no tanto, sin embargo yo en lo personal siempre he visto sus películas y la mayoría me entretienen bastante, dentro de los parámetros de una película de comedia para un domingo, me parece que las de Sandler encajan perfectamente.

   Pero ahora si centrémonos en lo principal de esta publicación que es Click, esta película tiene una trama bastante peculiar porque no solo nos atrapa sino que aparte nos hace preguntarnos que haríamos nosotros si tuviésemos ese poder y es Que a quien no le suena interesante tener un control universal con lo que se pueda controlar absolutamente todo de la vida real, todos hemos deseado algo así en algún momento de nuestras vidas, pero aquí no todo es perfecto y como todo, hay consecuencias que asumir.

   La trama en primer plano no es muy complicada de entender y aunque juegan mucho con los saltos de tiempo, logran hacer todo de forma intuitiva que es muy sencillo seguirle el hilo, aunque no le estés prestando mucha atención vas a saber en que parte de la historia está cada personaje y a mi esto me parece cool porque eso quiere decir que abordan el tema de una manera sencilla y así pueden centrarse en generar situaciones chistosas (porque no hay que olvidar que al final es una película de comedia).

   Esta película tiene un poquito de todo, pero me gusta esa línea que tiene entre la comedia y el drama, saben cómo llevarnos perfectamente por ambos caminos y esto lo digo más que todo porque tiene escenas de drama que están muy bien logradas, todo porque saben hacernos empatizar con el personaje y nos arropan en la historia cuando nos sentimos identificados con cada una de las situaciones, esto de empatizar con los personajes sirve perfectamente para la comedia como para el drama y siento que click sabe aprovecharlo en ambos escenarios.

   Algo que no se puede dejar pasar de esta película es su mensaje, esa idea de la familia es primero y todo este asunto se que suena bastante cliché, pero la forma en que nos van mostrando cada evento esta tan bien hecho que cualquier persona entra en un estado introspectivo, porque mucho de algo no es bueno y muchas veces por la ambición de logran un objetivo perdemos lo que ya teníamos, entonces aunque se pueda considerar como un mensaje cliché, es muy real y esta película lo logra transmitir al 100%

   Un aspecto que me pareció bastante cool de esta película cuando era más pequeño es su final y aunque después me di cuenta que es un recurso que puede ser común en varias películas me atrevería a decir que fue una de las primeras películas que vi que daban este giro y me encanto porque al final uno queda con un buen saber de boca, entonces si fue algo que en su momento me fascinó.

   En lo personal la considero como una de mis películas favoritas de Adam Sandler, como dije al principio siempre que tengo la oportunidad la veo, no solo porque me parece una buena película sino que también me trae lindos recuerdos.

   Click is an American comedy film released in 2006, starring Adam Sandler, Kate Beckinsale and Christopher Walken, directed by Frank Coraci and produced by Happy Madison.

   It should be noted that Adam Sandler has always been an actor that generates a lot of discussion, there are people who love his work but there are others who do not so much, however I personally have always seen his movies and most of them are quite entertaining, within the parameters of a comedy movie for a Sunday, it seems to me that Sandler's films fit perfectly.

   But now if we focus on the main thing of this publication that is Click, this film has a very peculiar plot because not only catches us but also makes us wonder what we would do if we had that power and is that who does not sound interesting to have a universal control with which you can control absolutely everything in real life, we have all wanted something like that at some point in our lives, but here everything is not perfect and like everything, there are consequences to assume.

   The plot in the foreground is not very complicated to understand and although they play a lot with time jumps, they manage to make everything so intuitive that it is very easy to follow the thread, even if you are not paying much attention you will know where each character is in the story and I think this is cool because it means that they approach the subject in a simple way and can focus on generating funny situations (because we must not forget that in the end it is a comedy movie).

   This movie has a little bit of everything, but I like that line it has between comedy and drama, they know how to take us perfectly through both paths and I say this mostly because it has drama scenes that are very well done, all because they know how to make us empathize with the character and tuck us in the story when we feel identified with each of the situations, this empathizing with the characters serves perfectly for comedy and drama and I feel that click knows how to take advantage of it in both scenarios.

   Something that can not be missed in this film is its message, the idea of family comes first and all this stuff sounds pretty cliché, but the way they show us each event is so well done that anyone enters into an introspective state, because much of something is not good and often by the ambition to achieve a goal we lose what we already had, so although it can be considered as a cliché message, it is very real and this film manages to convey it 100%.

   One aspect that I found quite cool about this film when I was younger is its ending and although later I realized that it is a resource that can be common in several films I would dare to say that it was one of the first films I saw that gave this twist and I loved it because at the end you are left with a good taste in your mouth, so if it was something that fascinated me at the time.

   Personally I consider it as one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies, as I said at the beginning I always watch it whenever I have the opportunity, not only because I think it's a good movie but also because it brings me nice memories.

   Esta es una película de comedia dramática, se estrenó en el 2006 y tenemos como protagonista a Adam Sandler y fue producida por Columbia Pictures. Esta es una buena película dominguera con un lindo mensaje. Por si no la has visto así te cuento un poco de que trata.

   

   Michael Newman es un arquitecto muy ocupado que da todo por tener buen reconocimiento y ascender en su trabajo, pero también quiere tener una buena vida con su familia, pero por lo visto, así el no lo quiera va ganando el trabajo. Ya que su gran objetivo es tener un buen empleo para dale la vida que estos merecen, pero sin darse cuenta el tiempo pasa y de una manera muy inesperada.

   Por ansias de una vida más “automatizada” busca un control que en que pueda manejar toda su casa, ya que se le hace difícil encontrar todo. Va al súper mercado y se consigue con Morty, un empleado bastante peculiar del súper mercado, que le da un control que le promete cambiar su vida, ya que podrá manejar todo lo que necesite.

   Pero esto fue bastante literal, ya que no manejaba sólo los electrodomésticos, sino su vida, puede controlar el volumen de los ladridos de su perro Sundance, adelantar el tiempo y pasarse los malos ratos familiares, como peleas o cenas “innecesarias”. Este se encuentran impactado y no cree nada de lo que está pasando, por lo que pensaba que todo era una broma, ya que ¿como es posible que un control maneje tu vida?

   Luego de que Morty le explicara, le mostrará lo que había pasado en su vida, como si fuera un a simple película le cree y se va fascinado con su control. Este literalmente es un control Universal, con él puede hacer todo, cambiar el idioma, bajar el volumen, cambiar su color de piel, adelantar el tiempo, pero cuando esto pasa todo pasa en piloto automático, es decir se vuelve una versión más fría de el.

   Este empieza usándolo a toda costa, lo utiliza para lograr un trato en el trabajo, para pasar pelear con su esposa, para quitar las reuniones familiares, pasar enfermedades, y mientras más lo hace, esto se empieza a programar, por lo que todo se empieza a descontrolar.

   Michael intenta deshacer de este, pero no puede, ya que cada que intenta aparece en todos lados, algo así tipo la muñeca de Anabelle jaja

   Su vida empieza a adelantarse todo, enfermedades, peleas, y cada que tenía un ascenso, esto le ocasionó divorcio y mala relación con sus hijos, intentando a toda costa vivir cada momento cuando puede evitando las escenas que adelantan el control, su padre murió y nunca estuvo presente, su padre muere y aquí se entera que Morty nuestro vendedor misterioso en realidad es el ángel de la muerte, por lo que él se llevó a su papá por que “Ya era su hora”, tuvo muchas enfermedades fuertes y ya en la recta final de la película este aparece en el matrimonio de su Hijo, todo muy bonito y feliz porque al menos eso no se lo perdió, pero sufre un infarto cuando se da cuenta que su hija, le dice papá al nuevo esposo de su mamá.

   Este despierta en el hospital horas después de lo qué pasó, aquí escucha que su hijo cancelara su luna de miel por trabajo, este no quiere que su hijo cometa los mismos errores de él, sale como puede del hospital luego de que sus hijos salgan del hospital, todo para darle a entender que no tiene que hacer lo mismo que el, este claramente se pone el peligro, ya que se desconecta de las máquinas y empieza a morir, Morty le empieza a decir que aun no le toca que lo piense bien, pero a él ya nada de eso le importa solo quiere enseñarle a su familia que la familia es primero y su hijo no desperdicie el tiempo en el trabajo, habla con su hija y con su ex esposa y este muere.

   Aparece Michael en el supermercado, Justo antes de adquirir el control, claro el sabe todo lo que vivió, piensa que todo fue un sueño o no sabe bien lo qué pasó, pero decide cambiar su vida, disfrutar con su familia, con su esponjosa, sus hijos y sus papás, aquí se da cuenta que no fue un sueño, que Morty o la vida le da otra oportunidad, aparece el control con un mensaje que dice “espero que esta vez tomes una mejor decisión”, este se deshace de él y sigue su vida de la mejor manera posible.

   Esta película tiene un mensaje tan lindo, podrá tener sus momentos cómicos pero en realidad tiene una trama más seria, al principio podríamos pensar que es una comedia tonta y ya, pero poco a poco va encajando todo y se pone en un ambiente más serio, esta película en lo particular me gusta mucho, nos enseña que no debemos dejar de vivir nuestra vida solo esperando lograr nuestros objetivos, es decir, vivir cada momento, disfrutar cada momento, claro, no es que nuestros logros llegan solos, pero es saber balancear tu tiempo y tu vida.

   This movie has such a nice message, it may have its comic moments but in reality it has a more serious plot, at first we might think it's a silly comedy and that's it, but little by little everything falls into place and it gets into a more serious atmosphere, I particularly like this movie a lot, it teaches us that we should not stop living our lives just hoping to achieve our goals, that is, live every moment, enjoy every moment, of course, it is not that our achievements come by themselves, but it is knowing how to balance your time and your life.

   Saludos amigos, un placer estar por aquí con ustedes. Participando en este genial concurso Films que inspiran, sin duda hay muchas películas que provocaron cosas en nosotros, diferentes emociones y sentimientos, aún así algunas de ellas no podemos olvidarlas porque marcaron nuestras vidas de una manera distinta y eso fue precisamente lo que me ocurrió con la película de Adam Sandler "Click perdiendo el control".

   Esta película muchos al igual que yo la vieron varias veces, en mi caso desde que era una niña, sin embargo, más que por las risas por la diversión que causaba, era por el mensaje tan directo que nos daba a todos. Si, todos quisiéramos ese control para adelantar, detener, y retroceder cuando queramos, porque cometemos muchos errores, y remediarlo seria un completo regalo. Pero la verdad es que si esto afecta cosas tan importantes de mi vida, sin pensarlo dos veces rechazaría la simple idea de poseerlo.

   A veces henos perdido mucho tiempo de la vida, pensando en el "¿y si?" viviendo en el pasado, en lo que hubiéramos querido haber hecho y por diferentes situaciones no pudimos, esto hace que nos perdamos del presente, que vivamos estancados en el pasado y a veces en el futuro, ignoramos los buenos momentos por estar absortos en objetivos absurdos que con el paso del tiempo no valdrán nada, y nada nos dejaran. Pero ¿por qué nos centramos en cosas tan vanas, como un empleo o las cosas materiales?

   A veces, movidos por el deseo de levantar a nuestra familia, nos obsesionamos con diferentes formas de ganar dinero, y este deseo nos ciega al punto de ignorar como la vida se está yendo de nuestras manos, y por supuesto que a mí me ha pasado, y se que a muchos otros también, pero sola basta un abrir y cerrar de ojos, así de rápido pasa la vida y nos perdemos de tantas cosas que si son importantes, como la familia y los amigos, esas personas que tanto se preocupan por nosotros y nos quieren.

   El tiempo es importante, no tenemos el poder de detenerlo o hacerlo pasar más lento, así que nuestra mejor y única opción es vivir la vida del mejor modo posible, para evitar arrepentimientos futuros. No podemos controlar lo que pasa a nuestro alrededor, y en cualquier momento podemos perder a un ser amado, no podemos evitar sufrir por ello, pero que horrible sería tener que pasar la vida arrepintiendonos, por no haber dedicado suficiente tiempo a esta persona que tanto quisimos.

   A veces somos muy tontos, y vamos por la vida tristes pensando en lo que no hemos logrado, en lo que la falta de dinero u otro cosa no nos ha permitido hacer, y no nos detenermos un momento a ver todo aquello que nos rodea, el regalo de la vida nuestra, y la de la gente que tanto amamos. Y es que esta película entre risas y momentos emotivos, nos da ese bonito mensaje, no dejemos a nuestra familia de lado por un empleo, porque es lo mejor que tenemos y a la larga de lo que más nos arrepentiremos es de no haber pasado más tiempo con ellos.

   Personalmente, lloro mucho al ver esta película, pero más que entristecerme me deja enseñanzas valiosas, que simplemente marcaron mi vida para siempre. Mi familia es importante para mi, y mi mayor miedo es ya no tenerla, por eso me siento inspirada a aprovechar lo mejor que puedo el tiempo. Porque el tiempo es de las cosas más valiosas que tenemos, y cuando lo desperdiciamos en cosas efímeras no hay forma de volver a atrás.

   Felizmente, tenemos regalos hermosos y cuando somos conscientes de ello los protegemos con la vida. Y ¡que buena sensación queda cuando lo hacemos bien! Se siente bonito cuando damos amor y atención a lo más importante, trabajamos duro por ello, pero jamás tanto como para dejarlos de lado. Hoy es común ver que la gente pasa su vida en oficinas o cualquier otro lugar trabajando, y sus familias han tenido que aprender a vivir sin ellos en momentos importantes. También vemos personas que traicionan a sus familias, y las abandonan por simples y vanos deseos.

   Por eso está película tiene tan inspirador mensaje pasea mi, porque en un mundo lleno de maldad en el que se le resta importancia a el amor y la amistad, nos recuerda que si no lo hacemos ahora el tiempo nos recordará lo estúpidos que fuimos y terminaremos solos y tristes pensando en el tan torturador "¿y si?" una pregunta que sin lugar a dudas puede poco a poco acabar con nosotros, lastimandonos más y más cada vez.

   Entonces si, a veces una película puede recordarnos cosas tan importantes como estas, y cuando es lo suficientemente buena también puede inspirarnos a ser mejores personas, en esta ocasion nos anima a esteblecer nuestras prioridades lo antes posibles, para no vivir con demasiados arrepentimientos y a aprovechar nuestro espacio de tiempo en la tierra de la mejor manera posible. Seguramente vieron esta película y causó en ustedes el mismo efecto que en mi, quizá como yo sintieron la necesidad de abrazar a mamá y papá con fuerza.

   En conclusión, esta película me inspiró mucho a valorar mi tiempo que es tan valioso, pero sobretodo a valorar y cuidar de nuestras familias, pero no de la manera equivocada que tiene el mundo entero de cuidar, que es dándole solamente lo material porque más que cualquier cosa material, lo emocional y espiritual es lo más importante y necesario, cualquier otra cosa es complementaria.

   Definitivamente todos necesitamos que nos recuerden estas cosas a veces, y por eso yo los invito a ver está película si aún no lo han visto, que sin lugar a dudas así como un valde de agua fría, nos ayuda a despertar de alguna manera de lo que estamos haciendo mal, pero por supuesto también nos ayuda a reflexionar en lo que debemos mejorar con el fin de tener una vida mejor y hacer mejor también la vida de otros.

   This movie many like me saw it several times, in my case since I was a child, however, more than for the laughter for the fun it caused, it was for the very direct message it gave us all. Yes, we would all like that control to go forward, stop, and go back when we want, because we make many mistakes, and to remedy it would be a complete gift. But the truth is that if it affects such important things in my life, I would in a heartbeat reject the very idea of owning it.

   Sometimes we have lost a lot of time in life, thinking about the "what if?" living in the past, in what we would have liked to have done and for different situations we could not, this makes us lose the present, we live stuck in the past and sometimes in the future, we ignore the good times to be absorbed in absurd objectives that over time will not be worth anything, and nothing will leave us. But why do we focus on such vain things, like a job or material things?

   Sometimes, moved by the desire to raise our family, we become obsessed with different ways to earn money, and this desire blinds us to the point of ignoring how life is getting out of our hands, and of course it has happened to me, and I know it has happened to many others too, but it only takes a blink of an eye, so fast life goes by and we miss so many things that are important, like family and friends, those people who care so much about us and love us.

   Time is important, we don't have the power to stop it or slow it down, so our best and only option is to live life the best way we can, to avoid future regrets. We cannot control what happens around us, and at any moment we can lose a loved one, we cannot avoid suffering for it, but how horrible it would be to have to spend our life regretting, for not having dedicated enough time to this person we loved so much.

   Sometimes we are very foolish, and we go through life sad thinking about what we have not achieved, what the lack of money or something else has not allowed us to do, and we do not stop for a moment to see all that surrounds us, the gift of our life, and that of the people we love so much. And it is that this film, between laughter and emotional moments, gives us that beautiful message, let's not leave our family aside for a job, because they are the best thing we have and in the long run what we will regret the most is not having spent more time with them.

   That's why this movie has such an inspiring message walks me, because in a world full of evil where love and friendship are downplayed, it reminds us that if we don't do it now time will remind us how stupid we were and we will end up alone and sad thinking about the so torturing "what if?" a question that without a doubt can little by little kill us, hurting us more and more each time.

   Creo que a todos o al menos la mayoría nos ha pasado que hemos querido tener el Control de nuestras vidas para volver al pasado a arreglar algunas cosas o ir arreglando uns presentes, asegurando así las futuras.

   Hemos soñado con despertar y tener la solución en nuestras manos, sin embargo no sucede, pero Adam Sandler lo hizo posible a través de Michael Newman un padre de familia que solo buscaba dar lo mejor de si mismo para lograr un buen puesto en la compañia, olvidando lo verdaderamente importante.

   I think we have all, or at least most of us, wanted to be in control of our lives to go back to the past to fix some things or to fix some things in the present, thus securing future ones. future ones.

   Esta película a pesar de ser una comedia familiar, yo la recomiendo si no la has visto, ya que salió en el 2006, por tener una gran reflexión y enseñanza, de lo que es verdaderamente importante.

   A veces por adelantar el tiempo, o pausar cosas que creemos tendrán un después, nos perdemos momentos valiosos y cuando al fin podamos abrir los ojos, solo nos daremos cuenta que en lugar de ganar, hemos perdido.

   Un verdadero catarsis soñado, sería hacer como Michael y justo cuando ese jefe injusto te este ofendiendo o haciendo sentir menos, cuando esa persona que te enoja te este gritando, puedas ponerle pausa y decirle sus verdades en la cara jajaja, verdades que no va a oír pero te diste el gusto de decirlas xD.

   This film, despite being a family comedy, I recommend it if you haven't seen it, since it came out in 2006, for having a great reflection and teaching, of what is truly important.

   Sometimes by moving forward in time, or pausing things that we believe will have an after, we miss valuable moments and when we can finally open our eyes, we will only realise that instead of winning, we have lost.

   A real dream catharsis, would be to do like Michael and just when that unfair boss is offending you or making you feel less, when that person who angers you is yelling at you, you can pause and tell him his truths in his face hahaha, truths that he won't hear but you gave yourself the pleasure of saying them xD.

   Muchas personas creen que el éxito en la vida es solo lograr graduarse o tener un buen puesto laboral, ser jefe en una empresa tal vez y no está mal, pero muchos pasan años buscando ese éxito para ser felices y luego dedicar el tiempo que ya no tienen a aquelmo que dijeron amar y es la familia.

   Para mí, el más grande éxito de cualquier ser humano es la familia, puedo tenerlo todo en la vida, pero sin mi familia solo soy un lápiz solitario que cualquiera puede romper o se puede acabar.

   ¿De que me sirve adelantar y saltar cosas valiosas en vida, solo por ir de prisa? Luego voy a lamentar haberme perdido grandes momentos, ver a mis hijos crecer, verles tener éxito y cuando yo sea quién esté en pausa y me vea vieja, sin fuerzas, allí entender que la familia es primero, como lo decia Michael al final de la película.

   Many people believe that success in life is only achieving a degree or having a good job, being a boss in a company maybe and that's not bad, but many spend years looking for that success to be happy and then dedicate the time they no longer have to the one they said they love and that is the family.

   For me, the greatest success of any human being is family, I can have everything in life, but without my family I am just a lonely pencil that anyone can break or it can end.

   What good does it do me to skip ahead and skip valuable things in life, just to go in a hurry? Then I will regret having missed great moments, seeing my children grow up, seeing them succeed and when I am the one who is on pause and I see myself old, without strength, there I will understand that family comes first, as Michael said at the end of the movie.

   Algo curioso, es que no sé por qué pero este actor Christopher Walken, quien hace el papel de Morty, siempre ha inspirado algo de miedo jajaja, el es una pieza clave en esta película, donde cree que Michael es un hombre bueno y merece una oportunidad para ver lo que puede perder y recapacitar.

   Como siempre nuestro querido Adam, no puede dejar de protagonizar películas con hermosas mujeres y esta oportunidad actua junto a Kate Beckinsale quien en la película es Donna Newman su esposa.

   Me gustó mucho ver a Kate en un papel totalmente diferente a su estilo Drak, que me encanta por cierto y hacer junto a Adam de esta película una gran enseña a lo que realmente tiene valor y debemos dedicar nuestro tiempo, la Familia.

   Something funny, is that I don't know why but this actor Christopher Walken, who plays the role of Morty, has always inspired some fear hahaha, he is a key piece in this movie, where he believes that Michael is a good man and deserves a chance to see what he can lose and come to his senses.

   As always our dear Adam can't stop starring in films with beautiful women and this time he plays opposite Kate Beckinsale who in the film is his wife Donna Newman.

   I really enjoyed seeing Kate in a totally different role to her Drak style, which I love by the way and making this film with Adam a great example of what we should really value and dedicate our time to, Family.

   Por más luchas que podamos tener como seres humanos y por más fracasos en los intentos de triunfos, quienes siempre van a estar allí para amarnos la mañana siguiente y toda la vida, es nuestra familia.

   Hay familias que tienen diferencias, es lógico, no todos somos iguales. Hay familia que pasan por pruebas y otras que no se ven con el tiempo tan seguido, pero al final de la camino, es esa familia que siempre te amará aún con los errores que podamos cometer.

   No perdamos el control de nuestra vida y demos valor a lo que valor merece, este esel tiempo, no mañana o pasado cuando puede que sea muy tarde y a diferencia de Michael, no tengamos otra oportunidad.

   No matter how many struggles we may have as human beings and no matter how many failures in our attempts to succeed, those who will always be there to love us the next morning and for the rest of our lives, is our family.

   There are families that have differences, it is logical, we are not all the same. There are families that go through trials and others that don't see each other as often, but at the end of the road, it is that family that will always love you even with the mistakes we may make.

   Let's not lose control of our lives and give value to what value deserves it, this is the time, not tomorrow or the day after when it may be too late and unlike Michael, we may not get another chance.

   Adam Sandler might not be the person you think of first when it comes to learning about how to deal with business and how to deal with your family. But, if you want to learn a good lesson on how to combine both, I believe that the movie Click can actually be warmly recommended.

   

   One of the best ways of learning hard lessons, is through laughing. That is why the best coaches and teachers are funny. Have you thought about why they make medicine for kids sweet? Or if not, they add some jam or honey to the spoon which the medicine is located? Because it helps you give what is hard and tough, by making it sweet.

   And yes, that is actually what you will get if you decide to watch the movie Click. It is a quite old movie, but still, the lessons taught in the movie are still valid and solid today. What is it all about?

   Time, Family, Promotion

   Adam Sandler works extremely hard to get his well-deserved promotion. He does so, often sacrificing time with his family and with his kids. When his boss requires him to work even more, he does so, hoping that it will give him his dream position. Along the way, he finds a remote which makes him able to fast-forward time, meaning that he can make boring activities go faster, and thus spend more time on what he finds to be important. He can also silence activities around him (like his dog), as the remote works on mostly everything around him.

   What effect will this remote have on his life? On his long awaited promotion? And what about life with his kids and wife?

   This is a very good lesson...

   Of course, it is stupid, it is Adam Sandler... but it is important, and that is why I write about it here in the Project Hope community. Because, if you want to live a whole life and a happy life, you cannot sacrifice your family in order to reach your business goals. You need to find a solid balance, and you need to set your priorities right.

   So, instead of working those extra hours tonight, why don't you sit down in front of the TV with some of your family members to watch the movie Click instead? I believe you will have a good time, and it might actually be like some sorely needed medicine given to you, sweetened with the crazy humor of Adam Sandler. You can watch Click on Netflix in certain countries, and you can also find it in your local Apple Store, Google Play Store, and other similar services online.

   What I learned from watching Click?

   If you haven't seen the movie, go ahead and watch it first. But, here I will just write a few thoughts that the movie taught me when it comes to family life.

   • You might be busy at work, but those moments you miss out on during your kids childhood will never return.
   • One of the toughest things in life is looking back when you are old with regret, thinking about all the things you didn't do or skipped, or missed out on because you were busy.
   • Few people regret in their older days that they "didn't work more..."
   • A happy home will give energy to your job. A suffering home will drain your energy, and no matter the amount of success you have at work, you will still be miserable in the end.

   Adam Sandler gets a lot of (deserved) flack for basically being the same character in every movie that he produces. Before you become too much a judgy-pants you should realize that his movies, even the ones that the critics absolutely hate, normally make tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars. If you were in that situation I think that you wouldn't have a problem of wiping your bad-critical-response tears away with 100 dollar bills either.

   That being said: Click is actually a bit different and I think nicely done

   

   Adam Sandler play the role of Mark Newman, a busy architecht whose work-life is his primary focus in life. He continually lets his family down and has to disappoint those around him because his career is apparently the most important thing to him.

   One day he runs into Morty (played by Christopher Walken) in the "beyond" section of Bed Bath and Beyond who gives him a remote control that Sandler comes to discover can actually control the world around him.

   

   He can pause time, fast forward and even change the languages of the things going on around him in life. At first everything is wonderful and well, who wouldn't want to have something like this in their lives. it wouldn't be much of a story if everything always went perfectly and eventually Mark starts to realize the remote is causing more problems in his life than it is solving, only to discover he can't throw it out or return it. It is a part of his life whether he wants it or not.

   I'm a bit surprised that they didn't get in trouble for putting Rob Scheider in blackface and having him play the role of Prince Habeeboo- maybe because everyone wasn't such a SJW pu**y back then. For one reason or another Sandler has to put Schneider in all of his films otherwise Rob wouldn't have any work. It was also great to see The Hoff in this movie.

   

   Believe it or not this movie was actually nominated for an Oscar, which is something I didn't know until about 10 minutes ago. It didn't win but it is the only time a movie associated with Sandler has ever been nominated for these prestigious awards.

   This is worth seeing for sure and is one of the few Sandler movies that I think have rewatch value. It has emotional scenes as well that are actually very well done and at least briefly, shows that Sandler actually is a tremendous actor, he just doesn't need to give us that very often when what he is doing by being silly, is what makes everyone go to the theaters.
