  1. Anime Review~Fire Force@seunruth355d

When I first noticed Fire Force popping up—streaming on Crunchyroll during the Spring 2025 anime season—it piqued my interest as one of the final great series of that lineup. I’d heard whispers that it carried forward some of the energy of Soul Eater, which instantly lit a spark of curiosity.

With the world in the grip of spontaneous human combustion, Shinra Kusakabe is a member of Special Fire Force Company 8 that fights against a horrifying enemy: the Infernals, who are humans who have been burned by spontaneous human combustion and transformed into monsters. Yet there is more than just flame-fighting going on: there are religious cults, haunting power, and reflections of the past trauma of Shinra himself.

The animation was burning with more intensity than I thought. David Production, which produces JoJo Bizarre Adventure, provides fire effects, which are alive, crackling, swirling, breathing. When Shinra brings down the flames, a blaze, or firemen fight with the religious fanatics White-Clad cult, it is simply kinetic cinema.

That is why Episode 6 of Season 3 in which Shinra fights against Captain Burns went viral. The fight was dubbed by fans as one of the best in anime in 2025 due to its perfect choreography and flashbacks that touch the heartstrings.

Not all the scenes set fire, though. The flow has stalled: Season 3, Part 1 is sharp in the beginning and dull in the end. Critics observe lessons about world lore, also find that not all emotional stakes connected But Why Tho? Setting is important: following chapters of explosions are chapters of slower arcs that are like long waits between action bursts.

The arc of Shinra is not light: a hero with a guilty conscience and with hope. Critics even recognize his strata of sorrow and self-questioning.

Supporting characters, such as Maki Oze and Arthur Boyle, arouse admiration of fans, although not all of them appreciate whether their characters are deep enough. Maki is not unpopular, yet certain fans feel marginalized. The bravado of Arthur is convincing, even arrogant.

It also has fan-service that is repeated, including with Tamaki Kotatsu, with the Reddit debates about it being either funny or despised because of its timing and tone. It occasionally breaks the tone--serious interspersed with suggestive humour.

I watched several episodes late at night with headphones—and I could feel that crackle when fire ignites on screen. The sound design is repeatedly praised: every casualty, roar, and whoosh feels visceral . Kenichiro Suehiro’s soundtrack flips between soaring heroism and smoldering tension—quite literally underscoring every emotional and action-packed moment.

In addition to hot fights, Fire Force gives a look at the identity under the veil of fire. The fight of Shinra is not only a fight between the outside and inside, but also the fight of trauma and hope. There are characters struggling with faith, authority, and intentions.

Religion is a theme (Infernals and the White-Clad), and the fire is not just fire, but the image of rebirth, faith and temptation of the power

Fire Force is not perfect. Its rhythm slows down when the initial excitement wears off, and some storylines seem to be used in the wrong way. Sometimes fan service takes the focus away of what could otherwise be a gripping moment.

Nevertheless it has what it is offering: spectacular fire animation, action packed fight scenes and a world burnt with emotion. The tragedy-fueled-but-redemption-illuminated path of Shinra still remains the core of it

I could not sleep because I was binge-watching Episode 6 of this season since it appeared and seemed to be alive. It was the sound, the visuals, emotional beats--they fitted. However, the weight was felt when the slow burn came. But yet I am tempted to complete, to be tempted by that promise of flame.

Streaming Season 3 is just like being on a rollercoaster and the ride is just going up again, perhaps it is about to hit the top. Part 2 will be released in January 2026, so I am willing to bet the finale will deliver the payoff the first few episodes warrant.

You might like Fire Force, in case you like a hot action, emotional character development surrounded in flames, and you can excuse the clumsy pacing and fan-service tangents. Just make sure you watch it with volume on- and perhaps do not drink coffee when you watch; the adrenaline may not let you sleep.

A few months ago, while watching the last episodes of the second season of Solo Leveling (Ore dake Level Up na Ken), I took a look at the homepage of Anime FLV, an online site where I usually watch anime. There, a title caught my attention, and I decided to give it a try, which I do not regret.

    Fire Force (En'en no Shōbōtai)

Fire Force tells the story of a 17-year-old boy, Shira, from the moment he joins Japan's 8th fire brigade. This anime presents us with a world in which, in addition to normal fires, there are others caused by infernos, which are nothing more than human beings who have spontaneously combusted.

    image.png

    Imdb

Infernos have no reason, are uncontrollable, can throw fireballs, some can reach great power and speed, each has a unique appearance, but in general they are black figures enveloped in fire.

Shira is a third-generation victim of human combustion, meaning he is capable of generating flames in specific parts of his body, in his case his feet. When he was a child, his house was set on fire by an infernal, and he was the only survivor. Since then, he has had a nervous laugh that comes out when he feels pressured, and because of this, he was accused of murdering his mother and brother.

    image.png

    Imdb

The world in which Shira lives is what emerged after an event called the Great Cataclysm. From there, a religion arose in which the sun is worshipped, and before killing any infernal, they say a prayer so that the being may find rest.

But what is interesting about this anime? First, it is the construction of a world. As I mentioned, everything takes place on a planet rebuilt after the great cataclysm, and as the anime progresses, we see places that are remnants of the previous world, not to mention the unique religion they profess, spontaneous combustion, the existence of the Pillars, and the Adolla Burst, about which there is still much to discover.

    image.png

    Imdb

Since there are people capable of manipulating fire or generating fire in some part of their body at will, there are sometimes battles with infernos and at other times with other characters, which is great because we see how these characters grow and become stronger throughout the series.

The variety of characters in Fire Force is interesting; we see characters of all kinds, from the brilliant to the foolish, but each one has their place and importance at certain moments, each with a story and all with importance within the anime. In addition, there is no shortage of humorous moments that can even appear in the middle of a battle, when you were expecting some action, something happens that makes you burst out laughing. Among my favorite characters are Shira, Benimaru, Sho, Leonard Burns, Joker, and Obi.

    image.png

    Imdb

The music is another of its strengths, both its openings and endings are of high quality and feature eye-catching animations that you want to see.

The animation in Fire Force is dynamic and fluid, emphasizing certain characters or details (figures within eyes) and playing with colors, which is vital because we are talking about a concept in which fire is central and therefore stands out.

This anime has two complete seasons available, and a few weeks ago, the first part of its third season finished airing. The second part will begin airing in January 2026. I give it an 8 out of 10. If you've seen this anime, tell me what you think, and if you haven't, I encourage you to give it a try.

  3. Anime Review ~ Fire Force: A Blazing Must-Watch Anime Adventure@papamogambo373d

    Hello Anime Lovers 👋🏻💙

Fires and Fire Forces to extinguish them, how will this concept show a dark fantasy, let's see.

    1000052279.jpg

So guys, welcome to another anime review. I've brought for you today. Fire Force, a news and show with which I was so connected that I have been watching it continuously for the last two days, without doing any work. Before starting the review, I will say that you can watch this show only by trusting me. You will surely like it. There are many aspects to it.

    1000052276.jpg Image Source

    Character Analysis

The first region is its main character Shinra Kusakabe. Brother, I don't remember which main character I liked so much last time. That's the good thing. Like, after a long time I am seeing such a sensible and lovable main character. Apart from this, its side characters are also very accurate and very unique. And its animation is top class. And we see the best representation of the strongest Shinman Benimaru, which you must have seen in some reel or the other.

    1000052277.jpg Image Source

    Basic Storyline

And then there's the story and the ending. That's it brother, all the points I have mentioned above, all of them weigh heavily. It's that good. Like, at the beginning of the story we are shown a normal human world, in which we are shown pyrokinetic, we are introduced to three generations. The First Gens, who are victims of spontaneous human combustion, turn into Infernals, fire-throwing monsters. And the salvation of these, basically the work of killing them is done by the fire soldiers, through their ethical methods, in which the most second Gens, who can control the fire, and the third jains, who can control their own fire, are there.

And the principle of powers for the aldo second Gen and third Gen are the same, but still we get to see the variety of abilities in them. Where again we have been introduced to eight fire force companies, which work under the Holy Soul Temple. And this temple basically worships Sol, the Sun God. Now, this has become a little bit of a case which is shown to us from the top.

But his story goes further than that. Like, Shinra he also loses his family during a fire, on top of which three-four plots open up. Then, whether this spontaneous human combustion is spontaneous or not? What's the real reason behind this? Then Olso their world was not the same from the beginning. This is what happened about 250 years ago, the etymology of what they are calling The Great Catechism. Basically, 250 years ago, there was a fire everywhere, which destroyed everything - Civilization, people, even maps.

    1000052278.jpg Image Source

    Season & Episodes

By the way, what their world was like 250 years ago is shown to us in Season 3, Episode 12. I'm not giving you any spoilers, but bro, that was pretty crazy. And then we are shown the villains of this show, their M, those things also take the power system of this show to a very next level. And surprisingly, I haven't even scratched the surface of this series yet.

    Final Verdict

So that's why I will say that if you have not seen Fire Force yet, then you must try it.

Have you seen this anime before? If you have, please share your opinion in the comments. And if you haven't, you should definitely try this anime.

For this art work I used pens and markers but at the time my phone was having issues with the flash hence why the drawing is dark. Also I'm thinking of getting new illustration pens so my drawings would look better

  5. Fire Force Season 1: The Spark That Ignited the Flame@okarun438d

    Source

This post is written both in English and Spanish.

    ENGLISH:

    Hello, Hive friends.

It's taken me a couple of days to make this post, I've had some little problems related to lack of motivation to write but, although I still don't feel fully motivated, I decided it's time to do this review.

Today I come to tell you about Fire Force, also known as Enen no Shouboutai in Japanese, whose first season was aired between July and December 2019 and has 24 episodes.

Currently the third season is airing after 5 years of having aired the second season in 2020, so I decided to re-watch the series from the beginning to have a fresh memory hahaha.

In a world where humanity is threatened by Spontaneous Combustion, a phenomenon whereby people go up in flames and turn into creatures called Infernals, a Special Force of firefighters called Fire Force was created, consisting mainly of people with abilities that allow them to create and control flames.

This is where we meet Shinra Kusakabe, a 17-year-old who lost his mother and younger brother in a fire attributed to him as a child and who people call demon, as he also possesses a rather disturbing smile.

    Shinra Kusakabe

Despite all this, Shinra is determined to become a hero and discover the truth about the fire 12 years ago and the origin of the Spontaneous Combustion, so he joins the Fire Force and is assigned to the 8th Special Brigade.

Being part of the 8th Special Brigade of the Fire Force, Shinra meets Captain Obi, Lieutenant Hinawa, Private First Class Maki and Sister Iris, who from the first moment make him feel at home and that he is part of a family. Then we meet Arthur Boyle, a new member of the squadron with whom Shinra will establish a friendship/rivalry relationship that adds a bit of humor and drives them both to become stronger.

    Akitaru Obi and Takehisa Hinawa

To get into context in the series, we must understand what the Infernals are and what the powers of the members of the Fire Force are.

The Infernals are also known as First Generation Pyrokinetics, as they are people who are consumed by flames and become fire creatures devoid of rationality capable of producing flames and burning everything in their path, causing a great deal of damage in the process.

    Infernal/First Generation Pyrokinetics Source

There are also the Second Generation Pyrokinetics, who are people capable of controlling flames but unable to generate fire by themselves, so they always need a source of fire to be able to use their abilities. Among the characters who possess these abilities we have Lieutenant Hinawa, who can control the bullets fired from his guns and Maki Oze, who can control flames and give them "life".

    Maki Oze

And then there are the Third Generation Pyrokinetics, who are able to generate flames from their bodies without the need for an external source. Some examples are Shinra Kusabe, who can generate fire from his feet, which allows her to move at high speeds and even fly, and Arthur Boyle, who possesses a sword that produces plasma using its flames.

    Arthur Boyle

We also have characters who do not possess fire skills, such as Captain Obi, who exercises his body to the extreme and uses special tools to fight fire and Sister Iris, who serves as spiritual support to the 8th Special Brigade.

    Sister Iris

Since we know what the series is about and how the different existing abilities work, although there are more different abilities that will be seen later in the series, but I won't mention them because I don't want to make spoilers, we can start with my opinions.

The main plot seems very original to me, because although it uses only one element, which is fire in this case, it does it in unique ways adding different abilities and ways to use and control fire to its characters. Using as an example Arthur's plasma sword and Princess Hibana's fire flowers.

    Hibana's fire flowers Source

It also has a fairly solid religious basis, as most of the actions the characters take are based on their belief in the Great Sun God, which seems to me to be an important parallel to the Catholic religion, adding somewhat controversial themes such as fanaticism.

    Source

The battles are very dynamic and well choreographed, in this aspect the production house David Production shines, and also adds special sound effects to the characters' abilities adding depth to the scenes. Here I leave you an excerpt of a battle so you can see and hear the effects used, which I don't see as a spoiler since there is not much context about it.

    Source: YouTube

The antagonistic characters are charismatic and mysterious, like Joker and Haumea, and they add quite a bit of weight to the plot with their participation. Although Joker is more mysterious to me because his intentions are not clear from the beginning and his actions are somewhat contradictory at times.

As for the music section, we have a rather lively first opening that introduces us to the characters, their abilities and battle scenes that invites us to watch the series. The opening theme is "Inferno", performed by Mrs. GREEN APPLE.

    Source: YouTube

The first ending is "Veil", performed by Keina Suda. It's a rather upbeat theme that contrasts a bit with the images shown, which are a sort of summary of Sister Iris's life during her stay at the convent, which makes us think that maybe she's a more important character for the plot than we thought.

    Source: YouTube

For the second half of the series we have a new opening, being "MAYDAY" performed by coldrain with the collaboration of Ryo from CRYSTAL LAKE. It is a totally different theme from the first one, being a quite heavy rock song and totally in English, which is quite unique in anime industry.

    Source: YouTube

As a second ending we have "Nounai" performed by Lenny code fiction, a quite animated theme that could easily be used as an opening.

    Source: YouTube

I didn't mention it before, but in addition to the action we see in Fire Force we also have a lot of humor and there is some level of fan service in which both male and female characters show their bodies, but they usually do it in a way that is somewhat funny and not off-putting to some viewers, like Tamaki's perverted luck, which always puts her in awkward situations.

To conclude, we can say that it is a series that, although it seems to have a simple theme and plot at the beginning, it gains depth as the series progresses revealing things about the past of different characters.

The characters are very charismatic and funny in their own way but they also show quite a bit of seriousness when necessary and they develop very well as the story confronts them with life and death situations or when they face their own past.

In my opinion, I would give it a 9/10 since, although I liked it a lot, I don't think it's a masterpiece, plus I usually think that there's nothing perfect in the world and giving it the maximum rating would be too much hahaha

In conclusion, it's a work that I definitely recommend if you like action series with a touch of mystery, and if you like anime in general it's a series that you must watch since it was one of the best of all 2019.

Now I will start watching the second season to bring you soon a review of it, so you can follow with me the events that are presented to Shinra and company.

I'll read you in an upcoming review.

    Akitaru Obi y Takehisa Hinawa

Hello to all anime fans, I hope you are doing great today. This time I want to share with you all my opinions on a very popular anime that has generated certain discussions... today I will talk about: Fire Force... honestly, this is an anime that left me with several mixed feelings, it is not perfect, but it has something that manages to hook you... the premise is super interesting and a little absurd, we are talking about firefighters fighting fire... using more fire, it sounds really absurd, right? But that hint of intriguing madness is just what starts to grab you from the start.. it's like they're telling you: we're going to break the rules and we're going to do it with a lot of style..
I like how this series uses this premise with a lot of creativity, I think if you're a fan of action, you'll surely get hooked easily.. even though it sounds absurd in the best sense, the series carries it out with so much style that you end up buying it completely, and well, the idea that people can suffer some kind of spontaneous combustion and turn into hellions creates a dark, post-apocalyptic atmosphere that can attract a lot of people, it's the kind of world that's complex for both heroes and ordinary people.. the protagonist Shinra Kusakabe is a guy who at first seems like the typical Shonen hero, he's young, with a tragic past and a noble dream, but there's something about him that makes him different.. his nervous smile seems straight out of a horror movie, he's quite scary and has a certain stigma because there are people who call him a demon for an incident that happened in his childhood, This added a layer of complexity that I wasn't expecting.
This is something that directly affects his relationship with the other characters, some of them look at him with some distrust. In this world of firefighters, our protagonist, Shinra, will have to work twice as hard to prove his worth, and his past and that mistaken perception of him drive a lot of the plot. In this story, he has to try to clear his name while facing his own inner demons. Honestly, that's something that made me empathize a lot with him. How can you not feel something for someone who, despite being misunderstood and judged, continues forward with the hope of being a hero and fulfilling his dream? That strange ability he has to generate fire at his feet seems spectacular to me, and the combat scenes in which he uses it are the most exciting thing I've seen in a long time. This series knows how to show you action, it's very interesting to see how he manages to defeat enemies with skills that may be the most striking, but are undoubtedly very powerful.

One of the things that intrigued me about this anime was the division of the generations of fire users, we have the infernals, the fire controllers, and the fire creators.. this category not only structures the whole world of this anime, but also defines the dynamics of the fights.. and boy are the fights spectacular, the animation and the sound effects elevate each confrontation to another level.. there are fights in which Shinra and his companions have to defeat certain fire enemies and it seems that the flames take on a life of their own.. the sound of all the explosions is absolutely great, it makes you feel the intensity of each blow..
Surely many fights will leave you breathless and remind you why shonen is such an attractive and exciting genre, I also like that the story plays a lot with mystery.. spontaneous combustion is not a simple accident and that's it, there is something or someone behind all this.. and the revelations about Shinra and his family's past are a constant hook that gradually attract your attention, when I realized that in the Fire Force organization itself there are certain infiltrators, the tension was increasing more and more, I like that... it's great when the story has certain aces up its sleeve and isn't afraid to use them. You feel a sense that you can't trust anyone and that gives an exciting and dangerous touch to everyone...
Just talking about the Fire Force specifically the eighth brigade where our protagonist ends up working, I like how the whole group is so dysfunctional as if it were a strange family... each one has a well-defined personality, from the serious and perfectionist Hinawa to the sweet but determined Iris, and of course we can't forget the rivalry between Shinra and Arthur, at first I thought it would be the typical stupid Shonen rivalry, and although it does have many clichés, it's also interesting and intelligent, more than I thought... it's more like an absurd competition between two friends who simply don't know they are. I like that their interactions are fun and refreshing most of the time, the whole team dynamic is great because it allows Shinra to feel like a real family.

Now, I have to be honest with you guys... not everything was perfect, while the comedy is generally well executed, there are moments where jokes pop up in serious situations and completely break the immersion, for example, there are scenes where Shinra is facing a crucial moment related to his past, or then we see a comedic intervention from a character named Tamaki, which completely diverts the attention from the emotional weight it should have had... it feels pretty stupid and unnecessary, and since there are a lot of these scenes, this is really frustrating, because these kinds of interruptions can take away a lot of the impact of the series at key moments.
And obviously, what's even more problematic is the excessive use of fanservice in this series, it was really frustrating, and it completely disconnected me from the entire narrative... although I understand that it's a common resource in shonen, here it feels totally out of place, and sometimes, frankly, it feels uncomfortable, for example, there are constant scenes where, in the middle of a dramatic situation, some accident always happens that ends up exposing the female characters completely gratuitously... this seems to me to completely divert attention from the main plot, and also makes all the emotional impact of the moment get lost.
I found it stupid and frustrating, because the series has a very well constructed narrative, and some characters that can be very interesting, should by themselves keep the viewer's attention, but I don't know why they always have the need to resort to such pathetic resources... besides, as I mentioned, these kinds of scenes can alienate a part of the audience that is looking for more consistent content, it made me want to quit the series on several occasions, because the situations were so stupid that it almost exceeded the limits of what I can bear. The quality of the animation and the character design are so good that these kinds of inclusions end up feeling like an obstacle to fully enjoying the series... I consider it one of the most serious errors that this anime has, which in itself is quite good.

Oh, and well, trying to get rid of the bad taste in my mouth a little, I have to say that this anime knows how to take advantage of some of the typical shonen clichés to create something that, although familiar, feels fresh and exciting... it doesn't try to reinvent the genre, but it executes it with an impeccable quality that is reflected in most of the episodes. As I was saying, what shines the most here are the action scenes, they are super intense and visually spectacular, with such fluid animation accompanied by a spectacular soundtrack, making it impossible to look away... another thing, the openings and endings are also a complete gem, I loved each one of them, and the times they ended, it was impossible not to watch them again... this is an anime that doesn't pretend to be a philosophical or deeply reflective work, but what it can offer you is high quality entertainment.. its ability to balance a great mystery, fast-paced action, and unique moments of camaraderie between the firefighters makes it easy to immerse yourself in this world.
The way all the conflicts between Shinra and the other characters develop provide a lot of tension, it's also good to see characters that have some emotional growth and that allow the viewers to connect with them, overall, I give this series a 7.5/10. It's an anime that, as I said, has a lot to offer.. especially if you enjoy fighting shonen, here you'll find one with a good mystery, shocking fights, and a very interesting animation aesthetic.. I love how they are always attentive to every little detail, however, I recommend that, if you haven't seen it, you go prepared for some moments that can take you out of the experience and make you feel really uncomfortable... if it weren't for the fanservice, I think this anime could reach much higher levels, but it's impossible to take it seriously when it has such marked flaws. Its third season will be released soon, so we'll see how the rest of this story develops and if it's worth continuing to watch it. Tell me if you've seen this anime, what do you think, and I'll see you in the next reviews, I'll leave my favorite opening below. Take care, bye bye.

Throughout the first season, everyone has a fairly fluid character development both individually and as a group, revealing a little of each protagonist's past, but also leaving behind many loose ends about the origin of the "infernal" lis. and his entire connection with the "Sun God", it is also revealed that Shinra's brother is alive and on another side, with ideals totally opposite to those of firefighters, with a vision of what humanity should be like manipulating fire. and pyrotechnics at their convenience, carrying out immoral and destructive experiments, using the "grace" of the Sun God as a pretext to carry out their ambitions, surprisingly Shinra and his brother play a crucial role in this entire story thanks to their peculiar pyrotechnics. The first season is definitely good with respect to the plot, full of moments of action, fun and many other things, from the first chapter everything is Interesting and quite moving, it focuses more on missions and investigation not only of infernal lises but also of the fire company itself since certain irregularities arise with some captains.

Fare Force shows many faces of humanity, from how twisted people can be when they have a completely broken ideal using religion as an excuse to commit their misdeeds, to other perspectives that ours is the trust that people with firm and moral ideals can have in a system, thus showing two very accurate faces of what we human beings are with power in our hands, the anime has an interesting plot beyond the action, the mystery it hides. I really like that although it is a fantasy story it also touches on themes focused on the reality of the military, firefighting, and investigation system.

I highly recommend this anime, if you like the Shōnen theme, action, comedy and mysteries, I recommend it 100%, from the first chapter it hooks you and is very easy to watch, you can find it on Telegram, or on the Anime FVl channel , the manga is also very good and not to mention the opening, the one from the first season is my favorite. 8. Fire force: An anime about fighting fire with fire@mig11011d

Hello Hive friends. Since high school, I've been watching anime and reading manga, so I'd like to take the opportunity to review for the first time. Although I don't have extensive knowledge like many, I know more or less something. I would like to start with Fire Force, which I think is an interesting anime and manga.

I learned about Fire Force from watching a video that came up by chance on my YouTube feed, of top 10 anime coming out soon. At the time, the first season hadn't even come out, but I was quite struck by the trailer showing firefighters defeating fire monsters, as well as the aesthetics of the animation. Then I lost track of the anime and forgot about it. Later, I found it on an anime page and watched it in its entirety quite often, as well as its second season, which I didn't even know it had come out. This made me read the manga, especially knowing that it had already ended.

In Fire Force, we get a little introduction to the problem at the time, which is spontaneous human combustion. This causes people to turn into monsters called infernals, which are fought by the special fire department and the fire department, made up of several members who can control the flames to fight them. To understand this a little more, we must explain that there are three types of generations of powers: the first is that of the infernals, the second is the ability to manipulate fire and the third, to which our protagonist belongs, is about creating and controlling fire.

Our protagonist is named Shinra, and we are introduced to a train station when suddenly a person spontaneously combusts and becomes an infernal. As this happens, the fire brigade 8 comes into action and manages to contain the infernal using different techniques. But they overlook the fact that one of their members is still in danger, but Shinra realizes this and, setting his feet on fire, uses them as propellants to save this member, who is a nun with whom our protagonist will fall in love. After this, he is incorporated into the number eight fire brigade, or as they call it, the eighth.

The goal of our protagonist is to be a hero, since he has something characteristic which is that he smiles in a peculiar way when he is nervous. This made many people consider him a demon, which during the anime or manga puts him in funny or dark situations or misunderstandings. This characteristic happened to him because of a trauma from his past when he was a child: an infernal burned both his mom and brother. This was also a reason why Shinra wanted to join the fire brigade.

As the anime or manga progresses, there are more and more unknowns about spontaneous combustion and how it is gradually discovered that there is a big secret behind it. So much so that it is discovered that even the organization that fights the fire is hiding something. In addition, a group appears that will be the main antagonist of the anime called the Evangelist.

The anime changes almost nothing from the manga, neither in design nor in plot. That's why, before reading the manga, I do a little research to know if I have to read it from the beginning in case they omit something or not. The plot is quite interesting, but it feels kind of slow at first. Also, one might think it will be an anime as usual: a protagonist who wants to be a hero and whose past is tragic. But as it progresses, it becomes clear that this is not the case. In addition, we are shown different characters that will be appearing and very epic battles, making them more worthwhile for the animation that the anime has.

I recommend Fire Force for the backstory it has, as that's what really hooks you. So much so that I read the manga, as I couldn't contain my desire to know what was going on. Also, the different power ups that each character has are interesting. There is one in particular that I didn't really like at first, but as you go along you see that he has a great power and it becomes quite absurd. This is something I liked, as there are some very absurd things that become quite funny. However, something that I didn't like very much and I think it's mostly because I'm not a fan, is that there is a character dedicated only to fan service. This character has the peculiarity of having some part of his body touched or being left with almost no clothes on, which seemed unnecessary to me. In general, if you manage to watch the anime or read the manga, I would like to know what you thought of it. I was really taken aback by the ending. I hope you liked this review and I'll see you in the next post. If you have any suggestions I will gladly receive them <3

[Silent Hill] It is true that it is not officially confirmed yet, so there is a slight chance that it is only a rumor, but I doubt it. The SH2 remake has been talked about for years and I doubt that Konami would do anything about it with a clean and easy income. https://www.comingsoon.net/games/news/1221999-silent-hill-2-remake-multiple-new-entries-report

  11. Quick Anime Review - "Fire Force"@shortshots1620d

    ▶️ Watch on 3Speak

An impressive blend of stylish animation and catchy music

    • The clip I've posted is the opener for the first half of Fire Force's season 1, which I thougth was a great opener which combined splendid animation and music.

    • "Fire Force" was made by David Production Inc., an animation studio that is also famous for the "Jojo's Bizzare Adventures" series.

    • I saw Fire Force on a lot of top ten new gen anime lists and was immediately curious when I learned that the show wasn't about a team or regular Japanese firefighters but about post-apocalyptic Japanese firefighters with heat-based abilities in a world where Japanese citizens have begun either bursting into flames and dying, or bursting into flames and becoming fire demons.

    • If anyone is familiar with Nickeledeon's "Last Airbender" or "Legend of Korra" series, Fire Force is basically a post-apocalyptic Tokyo where good Firebenders fight bad Firebenders, while regularly ending the suffering of citizens who spontaneously combust into flames and sometimes turn into fire demons.

    • I usually judge anime on these criteria: animation, story, characters, voice acting, opener/closer, music, and its balance or imbalance of drama versus comedy.

    • Fire Force's animation is pretty awesome, especially the fire-based fight scenes. While it times it can be a bit cartoonish, the show doesn't shy away from blood and violence either.

    • I was definitely interested in the mystery behind spontaneous human conbustion, fire demons, and why the world of Fire Fore was post-apocalyptic.

    • I didn't really care about the dynamics between characters but I did have a favorite--Shinmon Benimaru. He felt like a cross between Itachi and Might Guy from Naruto, and he was my favorite character in Fire Force because of the festive way he dealt with spontaneously-combusted humans, turning the event of ending their suffering into a massive party for his neighbhorhood instead of the depressing ritual it is elsewhere in the Fire Force world.

    • I've only watched the English dub version of Fire Force but I had no issue with the voice acting. Not great, but not bad either.

    • Fire Force's openers are pretty amazing, especially the soundtracks too which really hinted at the action-capabilities of the show. Just really cool stylish animation.

    • The drama in the show arrives in short bursts of character expostion that seemingly vanishes in the story as quickly as it came, which never lead to any strong emotional responses from me.

    • The comedy on the show is mostly slapstick which was often a miss but landed a few rare times. There's a lot of fan service in the show which felt a bit gratuitous at times. I have no qualms against romance or sexuality but if it's not integral to the plot or character development it just feels like an insecure attempt to hold onto the viewer's attention.

    • I think Fire Force has a cool unique twist on a definitely-tested concept and it felt like a foray into a new subgenre that I feel will replicated and improved on in the future.

    • I think another standout feature of the show which I definitely need to point out is-- while the show had very badass visuals and music, there was something very addictive about the show's overall sound effects especially during the fight scenes. They did an awesome job there.

    • Fantastic animation and fight scenes, great opening sequences, not the most consistently heart-touching drama and characters but I was such a big fan of the music so I'll give this show a 7 out of 10.

  12. Fire Force Season 2 Review@osakaghoul2008d

Fire Force Keeps Momentum Higher This Time Around

Here is a mostly Spoiler-free review of Fire Force Season 2 that continues the story where the first season left off. It goes without saying that you have to see the first season before watching the 2nd one.

    ➜ TorGuard VPN - https://bit.ly/2LBQ8wr (-50% CODE: SUGI)

Now, this season is a lot more better-paced than the first one and I really recommend a lot of people hop on board if they haven't started this series yet, since they are missing out on solid Shonen action out there.

After his confrontation in the Nether with his younger brother Shou, Shinra Kusakabe's resolve to become a hero that saves lives from the flame terror strengthens. Finding a way to turn the Infernals back into people, unraveling the mystery of the Evangelist and Adolla Burst, and saving his mother and Shou—these are the goals Shinra has in mind. However, he has come to realize that attaining these goals will not be easy, especially with the imminent danger the Evangelist poses.

The Evangelist's plan is clear: to gather the eight pillars—the individuals who possess Adolla Burst—and sacrifice them to recreate the Great Cataclysm from 250 years ago. Having been revealed by the First Pillar that the birth of a new pillar is approaching, Shinra is determined to protect his fellow pillars from the Evangelist. Thus, the fiery battle between the Special Fire Force and the Evangelist ignites. Together with the Special Fire Force, Shinra's fight continues as he uncovers the truth about the Great Cataclysm and the nature of Adolla Bursts, as well as the mysteries behind human combustion.

Let me know in comment section below what were your thoughts about this season and did you enjoy it.

➜ TorGuard VPN - https://bit.ly/2LBQ8wr (-50% CODE: OSAKAG) ➜ TokyoTreat - https://bit.ly/2N5zwuW (-3$ Code - OSAKAG) Another anime season has concluded and that means another review. Been pushing out these in pretty frequent basis and i don't think speed is gonna decrease until mid January.

So today i'll be talking about Fire Force (Enen No Shoubutai) from the creator of classic shonen called Soul Eater. It's quite unique in terms of its setting which is the huge draw for the series, however it has quite fast phasing on first 7-9 episodes, so i really recommend sticking till halfway until speed gets more natural along with progress.
