What if one day you wake up, believing that you will have the best day of your life, but it turns out that it becomes the day that would change your life forever, in which you will not see the sun again for a long time, that you will not be able to hug your family, your children, for no reason, just because someone saw you in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The world is surrounded by injustice, I think it has always been like that, no matter the time, the year, the times in that aspect have not changed, they are still there.
But how to know if someone is really innocent, how to be sure that he did not commit that crime, that mistake, that fault, the only logical way is to investigate, to inquire, to go beyond and not to stay with only one version of the facts, don't you think?
A matter of justice, that's the name of this film, and you may wonder what this has to do with the movie, well, that's what this story is about, as the title says, it refers to justice, seeking to fulfill it, to find the real culprit or at least exonerate the innocent.
As I have mentioned before, I like these stories based on real events, inspired by real characters, which are examples of survival, courage, dedication, reflection, and life lessons.
¿Why injustice?
This film tells us how a young lawyer, recently graduated, decides to take the case of a man, who is accused of a crime, being sentenced to death penalty and thus fight for him, to do justice, to find the truth, to find the answer to why he was accused precisely to him, in turn for the civil rights of all those who have been tried without trial.
As you well know, many years ago in America there was racism, the struggle of whites against blacks, something that prevailed for a long time, which in this case made weight for this particular man to be accused of this crime.
This is where racial injustice makes its presence felt, questioning and undervaluing people of color, a fight against the judicial system, which also played an important role in the facts, in how they involved this man, all because, for power, to show that they are more, and that they can do whatever they want with these people.
A bit of drama, suspense, struggle, all this is developed in this film, the desperation, the lack of hope, the fear, the doubts, all together to find the truth, to enforce the laws, which, at that time with that high problem of racism, it was really complicated to achieve it.
Characters.
Undoubtedly this film had great characters, who performed and interpreted their role very well, among them we have Jamie Fox, this man has surprised us with his different roles, in each film he has starred.
In this story he plays the role of Walter McMillian, a family man, who is unjustly accused, locked up in those four walls, with a death penalty sentence, waiting for his ordeal to end, with the fear, anguish, helplessness of not being able to do more, just trust the judicial system.
On the other hand, we have Michael B. Jordan, playing the role of the young lawyer, recently graduated from Harvard, Bryan Stevenson, who as I mentioned will not rest until he finds the truth, and this young lawyer, more than doing justice, sought to help all those prisoners who were sentenced for crimes they had not committed.
And as his partner in this arduous work is Brie Larson, many will recognize her for her recent role as Captain Marvel, here she plays Eva Ansley, an activist, who will also fight to enforce the law, support and help all these people who lack the resources to obtain legal representation.
These three characters are the main characters of this great story, which as the story unfolds, we can see the delivery of each one, and how it is developing in each plot, certainly a great participation of each one.
As you can see, this is a story of struggle, dedication, justice, which there are moments that make us wonder, but what are human beings made of, how do they allow this to happen, they were really so strong and unjust at that time.
A moving story, which shows us how strong the injustice, the abuse, the social differences, set in Alabama in the 80s, where at that time, in that area, prevailed even more racism and harassment by people of color.
Opinions.
In my opinion it was a great movie, as I said, it had excellent performances, starting with Fox, who showed us a man down, tired, without much hope, but still willing to move forward, with the support of his good lawyer.
With touching scenes, shows of support, courage, pain, helplessness, all this we can see as the story unfolds, a film that covers a lot, tells a story that prevails, this is where I always say, the good ones should be more, acts like these where there is no economic interest, but the social, are the ones that should be valued and appreciated.
And as I said in my previous post regarding these cases, it is a very hard blow for a person to spend much of his life locked up, paying for a crime, without being able to look at the sunlight, of being with his family, this is where they, the really innocent people should be rewarded, don't you think so.
Well friends, this is all, I hope you like this brief review, of this interesting movie, if you have not seen it, I leave you the trailer, so you can cheer up, as I already mentioned, it is a story worth watching, it has a duration of two hours, but I assure you that every minute counts.

Qué pasa si un día te levantas, creyendo que tendrás el mejor día de tu vida, pero resulta que se convierte en el día que cambiaría tu vida para siempre, en el que no volverás a ver el sol por mucho tiempo, que no podrás abrazar a tu familia, a tus hijos, sin ninguna razón, solo porque alguien te vio en el lugar y momento equivocado.
El mundo está rodeado de injusticia, creo que desde siempre ha sido así, no importa la época, el año, los tiempos en ese aspecto no han cambiado, siguen allí.
Pero como saber si alguien es realmente inocente, como estar seguro de que no cometió ese delito, ese error, esa falta, la única forma lógica es investigando, indagando, ir más allá y no quedarse con una sola versión de los hechos, ¿no creen?.
Cuestión de justicia, así se llama este film, y se preguntarán qué tiene que ver lo que nos mencionas con la película, pues bien, de esto se trata esta historia, como lo dice el título, hace referencia a la justicia, buscar que se cumpla, encontrar al verdadero culpable o por lo menos exonerar al inocente.
Como bien lo he mencionado, me gustan estas historias basadas en hechos reales, inspirado en personajes reales, las cuales son muestra de supervivencia, valor, entrega, reflexión, y enseñanzas de la vida.
¿Por qué injusticia?
Este film nos relata como un joven abogado, recién graduado, decide tomar el caso de un hombre, el cual es acusado de un crimen, siendo condenado a la pena de muerte y así luchar por él, por hacer justicia, por encontrar la verdad, el buscar la respuesta a porque lo acusaron precisamente a él, a su vez por los derechos civiles de todos aquellos que han sido juzgados sin previo juicio.
Como bien sabe muchos años atrás en América existía el racismo, la lucha de los blancos contra los negros, algo que prevaleció por mucho tiempo, lo que en este caso hizo peso para que este hombre en particular, fuera acusado por dicho crimen.
Aquí es donde la injusticia racial hace acto de presencia, poniendo en duda y restándole valor a las personas de color, una lucha contra el sistema judicial, el cual también tuvo un papel importante en los hechos, en como involucraron a este hombre, todo por porque, por poder, por demostrar que ellos son más, y que pueden hacer lo que quieran con estas personas.
Un poco de drama, suspenso, lucha, todo esto se va desarrollando en esta película, la desesperación, la falta de esperanzas, el miedo, las dudas, todo aunado por encontrar la verdad, por hacer cumplir las leyes, las cuales, en esa época con ese alto problema de racismo, era realmente complicado conseguirlo.
Personajes.
Sin duda esta película contó con grandes personajes, que realizaron e interpretaron muy bien su papel, entre ellos tenemos a Jamie Fox, este hombre nos ha sorprendido con sus distintos papeles, en cada film que ha protagonizado.
En esta historia interpreta el papel de Walter McMillian, un hombre de familia, que es acusado injustamente, encerrado en esas cuatro paredes, con una sentencia de pena de muerte, esperando que su suplicio termine, con el miedo, la angustia, impotencia de no poder hacer más, solo confiar en el sistema judicial.
Por otro lado, tenemos a Michael B. Jordan, interpretando el papel del joven abogado, recién graduado de Harvard, Bryan Stevenson, el cual como mencione no descansara hasta encontrar la verdad, y es que este joven abogado, más que hacer justicia, buscaba poder ayudar a todos aquellos presos que estaban sentenciados por crímenes que no habían cometido.
Y como su compañera en este arduo trabajo se encuentra Brie Larson, muchos la reconocerán por reciente papel como Capitana Marvel, aquí interpreta a Eva Ansley, una activista, que también luchara para hacer cumplir la ley, apoyar y ayudar a todas estas personas que carecen de recursos para obtener una representación legal.
Estos tres personajes son los principales de esta gran historia, la cual a medida que trascurre la misma, podemos ver la entrega de cada uno, y como se va desenvolviendo en cada trama, sin duda una gran participación de cada uno.
Como ven, esta es una historia de lucha, entrega, justicia, la cual hay momentos que nos hace preguntar, pero de que está hecho el ser humano, como permiten que esto suceda, en verdad era así de fuertes e injustos en esa época.
Una historia conmovedora, donde nos muestra lo fuerte de la injusticia, el atropello, las diferencias sociales, ambientada en la Alabama en los años 80, donde en esa época, en esa zona, prevalecía aún más este racismo y acoso por las personas de color.
Opiniones.
A mi parecer fue una gran película, como dije, contó con excelentes actuaciones, empezando por Fox, el cual nos mostró un hombre decaído, cansado, sin mucha esperanza, pero, aun así, dispuesto a seguir adelante, con el apoyo de su buen abogado.
Con escenas conmovedoras, muestras de apoyo, valentía, dolor, impotencia, todo esto lo podemos ir viendo mientras se desarrolla la historia, una película que abarca mucho, cuenta una historia que prevalece, aquí es donde yo siempre digo, los buenos debemos ser más, actos como estos donde no exista el interés económico, sino el social, son los que deben ser valorados y apreciados.
Y como lo dije en mi anterior post con respecto a estos casos, es un golpe muy duro para una persona que pase gran parte de su vida encerrado, pagando por un crimen, sin poder mirar la luz del sol, de estar con su familia, aquí es donde ellos, las personas realmente inocentes deberían ser recompensadas, no lo creen.
