  1. Man of Steel (2013) Movie Review@reviewzzz523d

Introduction: A New Beginning for the Superman Legend

The 2013 film Man of Steel is a revival of the legendary superhero story Superman, but in a new style that suits the twenty-first century. Directed by Zack Snyder, known for his dazzling visual vision, and written by David S. Goyer in collaboration with Christopher Nolan as producer. The film attempts to present a more mature and in-depth vision of the Superman character, focusing on the human and psychological aspects of the hero.

    ---

Story: The Conflict of Identity and Duty

The story begins with the planet Krypton, which faces inevitable destruction due to the depletion of its natural resources. The infant Kal-El (Superman) sets off to Earth aboard a spaceship sent by his father Jor-El (Russell Crowe) in an attempt to save the legacy of his people.

On Earth, the child is adopted by the Kent family on a small farm in Kansas, where he is given the name Clark Kent. Clark struggles throughout his youth to come to terms with his superpowers and his strange identity. The story takes a turn when General Zod (Michael Shannon), the leader of the Kryptonian army, appears, seeking to rebuild Krypton at the expense of Earth and its inhabitants.

The story revolves around Clark's struggle between belonging to and defending humanity, and being the last survivor of the Kryptonian people, which puts him before fateful decisions regarding his fate and the fate of Earth.

    Characters and Performances

    1. Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman Henry Cavill gave a distinctive performance that re-presented Superman as an ordinary human being facing complex internal challenges. His physical appearance and strong features fit the role perfectly, but it was clear that he focused more on the psychological side of the character than on being a flawless superhero.

    2. Michael Shannon as General Zod Michael Shannon did a great job portraying the villain Zod. He was able to present a strong and intimidating opponent, but he is not just a traditional villain. Zod has his own logical motivations, which makes the confrontation between him and Superman more dramatic.

    3. Amy Adams as Lois Lane Amy Adams presented the character of the smart and bold journalist Lois Lane, but her role lacked some depth compared to the other characters. However, her relationship with Superman was pivotal to the story and added a human touch.

    4. Russell Crowe as Jor-El and Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent The duo Russell Crowe and Kevin Costner gave great performances, as they played the roles of fathers with great wisdom and effect. Each of them had a different philosophy, which helped shape the character of Superman.

    Directing and Cinematography

Zack Snyder is known for his visual creativity, and the movie Man of Steel was no exception. It presented scenes full of action and excitement, with slow-motion shots that highlight the details of confrontations and battles. The use of special effects was amazing, especially in the depiction of the planet Krypton and the flying scenes.

Snyder's directing style was controversial. Some scenes were full of visual exaggerations, which upset some critics, but the general audience loved this approach because it added an epic element to the film.

    Soundtrack

Hans Zimmer, the genius composer, presented emotional and powerful musical pieces at the same time. He was able to create a distinctive musical tone that matches the epic atmosphere of the film, while focusing on the human side of the characters.

    Positives

    1. Innovation in the presentation The film tried to break the stereotype of Superman as the ideal hero who does not make mistakes. It presented a complex character who sometimes feels lost, which made him more relatable to the audience.

    2. Focus on human drama The relationship between Clark and his adoptive family, and his internal struggle between his Kryptonian heritage and his belonging to Earth, added emotional dimensions to the story.

    3. Visual production and music The epic scenes and soundtrack left a great impact on viewers.

    Cons

    1. The plot is sometimes unbalanced The film was a bit long, with side scenes that slowed down the narrative at times.

    2. Too many destructive scenes The film's battles, especially in the latter half, were filled with random destruction of cities, which made some scenes look visually exhausting.

    3. Weak role of secondary characters Some characters, such as Lois Lane, were not exploited enough to provide additional depth to the story.

    Conclusion: Did the film succeed?

Man of Steel provided a new and interesting vision for the character of Superman. Although it faced criticism for its directing style and some narrative aspects, it managed to attract a new generation of audiences.

The film poses a profound question: How can a superhero adapt to a world that is completely different from everyone else? The answer lies in Superman's struggles and fateful decisions, which make him not only a hero, but a human being searching for his place in the universe.

With this sci-fi epic, Zack Snyder has rebooted the Superman mythos with a dark and thought-provoking tone.

From his gripping opening frames on the dying planet Krypton, he immersed us in a thrilling, existential vision of the superhero's classic origin.

Henry Cavill perfectly embodied the conflicted Clark Kent/Kal-El, imbuing depth and vulnerability to both the alien and human sides of this iconic figure. Amy Adams and Michael Shannon also brought gravitas to their supporting roles.

Snyder invited us to feel the crushing weight of divine power and responsibility on Superman's shoulders. The climactic confrontation between the Kryptonians had an eerie, almost Lovecraftian dread befitting their ability to destroy the planet.

Although some plot points frustrated die-hard fans, as a non-traditional superhero movie, Man of Steel shone brightly.

Its game-changing cinematography and stirring performances resonated far beyond the genre. For this reviewer, it reignited interest in mature, intelligent versions of the mythologies we all grew up with.

A complex blockbuster that left audiences stunned and stimulated long after the credits rolled. An important milestone in the evolution of pop culture storytelling.

Hans Zimmer's thrilling, melancholic score received widespread critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination for Best Score, elevating the film's emotional weight and scale.

At the box office, with a budget of $225 million, Man of Steel grossed over $668 million worldwide. It showed that audiences were eager to see a thoughtful reinvention of Superman with the scope and budget of modern blockbusters.

Although the Academy overlooked its artistic merits that year, Snyder and Cavill's gripping interpretation of the Superman mythos ignited everyone's imagination and laid the groundwork for the DC Extended Universe.

  3. MAN OF STEEL MOVIE REVIEW@sheikhshaon1434d

Hope all adventure loving movie lovers are doing well. Seeing all the problems that we can see and understand in our country and the world, sometimes it seems that if we become superman, we can defeat the devils in the form of people with distorted brains and give them the last lesson of life. But what else to do is only possible in movies based on fictional characters. And it is also true that in reality such a thing is not possible in any way. So, I watched the Superman movie that was released in 2013 and made a small attempt to get rid of the milk in my mind.

The movie Man of Steel was released in 2013 after much anticipation under the direction of Zack Snyder. Amazing story, action, romance and heroes with super powers that won the hearts of the audience of all ages. The opening sequence of the movie shows a planet outside our Earth. whose name was Krypton planet. And in the world of Krypton, children are being cultivated in test tubes like the Matrix to make soldiers for the future. But since the Man of Steel movie superhero is born naturally, his parents Jorel and Lora think of their child as a special child from the planet Krypton.

Superman's father Jorel tells Krypton's higher-ups that their planet will soon be destroyed. So he requests that the preserved cortex of Krypton City be given to him. But then General Jord attacks the higher ranks and a fight ensues with Jorel. Jorel escapes to where Cortex is kept and takes the Cortex. And just then Zord also arrives there and attacks him. But Jorel went home with the help of his Dragon. Jorel and Laura use a machine to mix Cortex with their son Carl's DNA and send him to Earth, leaving behind all illusions. Jord then arrives and kills Jorel and is caught and punished by Krypton's higher ups. But if you get rid of Zord, you will take revenge. Shortly after that, the city of Krypton was destroyed.

It then appears that Superman arrives on Earth in his space sweep and is raised by his foster father and mother. And Superman was growing up on Earth as Clark Kent and getting all the normal education. However, he has been helping everyone in danger since his childhood with some of his special powers. The point to be made is that Clark never abused his power. And his father would tell him to never reveal his power and keep it a secret until the world takes you right.

Superman once learns that an alien spaceship has been discovered in Antarctica. And so he goes there and through the command key that his father gave him, he sees an image of his real father and from him he learns about what happened in Krypton City. He is then seen wearing the original Superman costume that his father had given him. From then on he learns how to use his powers and he gains the ability to fly and returns to his mother. Superman learns more that General Zord will come to him to take the cortex and tells him to destroy the Zord with his own hands. And the American reporter Lynn finds out that there is someone with superman or special powers and starts looking for him and goes to Lady Kent.

General Zord comes to Earth for his revenge and for Cortex and sends a message through all the mass media that someone from their planet is on Earth and asks him to hand him over to them if he wants to survive. And then Superman surrendered to the American military thinking about the people of the world. Superman reassures them to not be afraid and hand him over to Zord. Later, when the American military handed Superman over to them, they took away reporter Lin. Zord then questions and imprisons Superman about Cortex. And then Superman's father helps Lynn escape and tells Superman to get ready to end the war. But Superman learns from Zord who killed his father.

Eventually, the American military and Superman teamed up to kill Zord and his soldiers in a protracted battle of epic and massive destruction. And this is how Superman helps the people of Earth to survive naturally from destruction. But at the end of the movie, he hides his real identity and joins the work of a reporter as a common man and ends the movie.
