  1. Mob Psycho 100- A story of control@coderaikiri240d

    1002417241.jpg

How do you make an overpowered protagonist interesting? Give him the personality of a background character, the IQ to match and a strict moral code against violence. All these are the descriptions of the main character of the anime Mob Psycho 10 - Shigeo Kageyama (given the nickname Mob).

    1002417251.jpg

In a world where unique individuals are born with psychic abilities and are referred to as Espers , Mob is a middle schooler with exceptional abilities that exceeds even genius level espers but instead using his powers for selfish gains, our hero prefers to live his life as an average person even going as far as shielding himself from any form of public attention that comes with having powers. He learnt from an early age that psychic powers cannot solve a vast majority of his problems and if he wants to enjoy his life he needs to emulate the lifestyle of ordinary people.

    1002417232.jpg

At school Mob is a below average student who is terrible at math and with zero presence both in terms of sports or socializing. He eventually joins the Body improvement club to develop his muscles with hopes of impressing he girl of his dreams as his psychic powers as a kid but unfortunately for him is poor stamina always causes him to pass out whenever he goes judging with the members of the club. However it is still not enough to discourage him from getting his ideal body no matter how difficult it may be.

    1002417242.jpg

Shigeo works part time at Spirits and Such Consultation Office for Reigen Arata, his master and employer where they are tasked with exorcising evil spirits. Reigen is a con artist who possesses no abilities whatsoever so he uses Mob to keep his business going paying him scraps for doing almost everything. Nevertheless despite Reigen's shady nature, he is actually Mob's moral compass, teaching him about self control, humility, proper use of his abilities and even instilling a rule that restricts him from engaging in violence.

    1002417235.jpg

Ritsu Kageyama is Mob's younger brother. Unlike his brother, he is smart, popular in school and also lacks any psychic abilities. He eventually awakens his powers which overwhelms him and ends up causing a rift between the two brothers until they eventually reconcile during his rescue.

    1002417234.jpg

The primary opposing force in this story is an evil organization known as THE CLAW wich is centered on world domination and Esper supremacy. Mobs numerous battles with this organization often leaves a trail of destruction. The difference in their ideologies shows that the threat of absolute power and the lack of self control. The 100 attached to the title of the anime represents Mob's emotions which is always on the move. The moment it gets to hundred he displays his full power and sometimes loses control of his actions.

    1002417231.jpg

Mob Psycho is a beautiful anime which tells the story of a powerful boy who just wants to be normal in a supernatural world. It shows the importance of having a good heart in a world where people are constantly trying to use and staying humble despite having enough to create long impacting changes. The storyline is quite intriguing and the plot unlike any average work... Stay tuned and enjoy thanks.

  2. Review Mob Psycho 100 🧠 Psycho Powers, Comedy and More Comedy@alienpunklord261d

Purple and White Modern Artificial Intelligence Twitter Post (12).png

Alright, so recently I decided to start watching something new something I could finish without having to spend months on it. After a bit of scrolling and random recommendations, I ended up picking Mob Psycho 100. Honestly, I didn’t plan it at all. A friend sent me a meme from the show, and when I asked what anime it was, he just said “Mob Psycho.” I didn’t even check reviews or trailers I just hit play.

And wow, I’m glad I did. It turned out to be one of the most surprisingly good anime I’ve watched this year.

    image.pngimage.png image source

Before Mob Psycho 100, I had just finished Jujutsu Kaisen a completely different kind of ride. While Jujutsu Kaisen thrives on intensity, dark curses, and slick fights, Mob Psycho feels more introspective. It’s about self-growth, emotions, and what it means to live a normal life when you’re anything but normal. The story centers around Shigeo Kageyama, better known as Mob. He’s this quiet, socially awkward middle school kid with unbelievable psychic powers. The twist? He doesn’t really care about being powerful. All he wants is to be an ordinary guy who can talk to people without panicking especially his crush, Tsubomi Takane. But whenever Mob’s emotions hit 100%, things literally explode.

To keep things under control, Mob trains under Reigen Arataka one of the best “fake it till you make it” characters ever created. Reigen is a self-proclaimed psychic and total con artist. He has zero actual powers but somehow ends up as Mob’s mentor. What makes him so interesting is that, despite all his lies, he’s genuinely wise and gives Mob some of the best life advice you’ll hear in any anime.

    image.png image source

The show’s plot follows Mob as he tries to balance his psychic life with the challenges of being a teenager. Along the way, he meets real psychics, evil spirits, and organizations that want to use his power for their own gain especially a group called Claw, a band of espers who think world domination is a good idea. But Mob isn’t driven by revenge or glory. His real struggle is emotional learning that feelings aren’t a weakness but part of being human.

    image.png image source

One of the best parts of the anime is Dimple, a mischievous ghost who starts off as an enemy but later becomes Mob’s companion. He’s funny, annoying, and weirdly charming, adding that extra layer of comedy that keeps the story from ever feeling too heavy. Visually, Mob Psycho 100 is a masterpiece. The animation style might look simple at first glance, but the fight sequences are some of the most fluid and creative I’ve ever seen. Every time Mob reaches emotional overload, the screen turns into a chaotic mix of color and motion that perfectly reflects what’s going on inside him. It’s intense, but also beautiful.

Another great element is the Body Improvement Club a group of muscular guys who motivate Mob to better himself physically instead of relying on psychic powers. It’s wholesome, funny, and surprisingly deep. Their motto improving both mind and body perfectly sums up what the anime is really about.

What truly sets Mob Psycho 100 apart is how it mixes humor, action, and emotion without losing focus. You can go from laughing at Reigen’s ridiculous confidence one minute to tearing up at Mob’s quiet moments of growth the next. It’s not just a story about psychic battles it’s about identity, purpose, and growing up.

    image.png image source

And even though it’s packed with supernatural elements, the real power of the show is emotional. Mob’s journey isn’t about destroying enemies it’s about learning self-control, understanding emotions, and realizing that strength isn’t measured only by what you can destroy, but also by what you can endure.

So yeah, Mob Psycho 100 blew me away. It’s short, powerful, and unforgettable.

    image.png image source

If you’ve finished something intense like Jujutsu Kaisen or Attack on Titan and want an anime that hits both your heart and your funny bone, this is it.

Like I said earlier it was really good. And if you decide to watch it, I bet you’ll end up saying the same thing too.

Greetings to everyone in The Anime Realm community! Today I'm joining you all to share a new anime review. This time, I'm bringing you a 2012 crime thriller anime called "Psycho Pass." It was produced by Production IG and directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani and Katsuyuki Motohiro. The story takes place in a futuristic Japan, where, through the Sibyl System, citizens are constantly monitored (in terms of thoughts, behavior, personality, and system predictions) in order to achieve moral and social harmony. Those who exhibit criminal behavior or even have criminal thoughts are repressed or, ultimately, killed. The anime's premise is not only interesting but also disturbing, as imagining a future where a system exists that controls the population in such a way seems inhumane.

In the anime, we have as our protagonist Akane Tsunemori, a young woman with all the qualities to find any job because she is an exemplary citizen (her reputation is good and it doesn't seem to be affected by the Sibyl System). However, she decides to join the Criminal Investigation Division of the Public Security Bureau as an Inspector, being assigned to Unit 1. There, she must work together with the so-called Enforcers, a team made up of former Inspectors who reached a high level of crime in the Sibyl System (due to being constantly exposed to criminal cases) and others who simply meet the requirements to catch other criminals because they are criminals too. Akane seems like a conservative, somewhat naive young woman, but she is actually perceptive and intelligent, and even more importantly, she has a genuine interest in human life.

I watched "Psycho Pass" many years ago, when I had moved to a new city and only had a television and a DVD player to watch movies and series. One day, a friend of mine who loves anime lent me several anime, and this one was one of them. With only two seasons and episodes that get straight to the point (no filler needed), it became what I believe is one of the best anime I've ever seen. The anime touches on several themes, such as dehumanization. It's shocking that someone is apprehended simply for having a controversial idea (for example, so-called intrusive thoughts), taking away some of the freedom from that divergence that exists in humans. It also touches on moral perfection, which again touches on the previous point. It seems contradictory, but this pursuit of being a perfect citizen leads to pressures that eventually generate internal conflicts. Also, what right do others have over our own thoughts?

But one of the most interesting themes the anime addresses is corruption: the environment, people, and so on. At one point, we're taught that some Enforcers are there for having seen too much, so Akane, being someone with a streak of excellence, might be affected by being so immersed in her work. If you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back. Nietzsche would say. It's a warning. In any case, if that were to happen, would Akane really stop being "anyone good"? The anime is a bit reminiscent of "Ghost in the Shell," "Akira," and of course, George Orwell's "1984." Far from being a utopian Japan, it feels more like a dystopia. I highly recommend watching it, as it also has a good soundtrack, beautiful animation, and a very good script. Without further ado, thank you so much for stopping by.

  4. Mob Psycho 100: The Tale of an Overpowered, Emotionally Repressed Teen@omokhafue465d

Well, I don't know if I told you guys this but I began my black clover journey. Actually,it started sometime in December last year and it literally just peaked for me some weeks ago. And now, I'm stuck in episode fifty something, random downloading episodes when I can. But I've hit pause on it now, hopefully I'd see someone to get the whole episodes from once I'm back in school.

And with that on pause,I began with something else. Something shorter. Mob Psycho. I mean 74 episodes is way less than a hundred and seventy something plus! It's funny cause I just saw a random sticker my friend sent to me and I asked what anime was that and he said Mob Psycho. And I just decided to watch it. Didn't even ask for a review or anything.

Oh well, here's a review about it. It was really good!

53b2fe07823745e597acb714921c93b8.jpg Source Imagine having god-tier psychic abilities but still struggling with the ultimate horror—talking to your crush. That’s the life of Shigeo Kageyama, aka Mob, the bowl-cut-wearing, emotionally constipated protagonist of Mob Psycho 100.

Mob is not your typical shonen hero. He doesn’t want to be the strongest, save the world, or flex his absurdly broken telekinetic powers. Nope. All he wants is to become a normal, well-adjusted kid who can hold a conversation without breaking into an existential crisis. But life has other plans—because when Mob’s emotions hit 100%, things explode. Literally.

To keep his powers in check (and, let’s be real, to give the audience some of the best animated fight sequences ever), Mob trains under Reigen Arataka. Now, Reigen is many things—a con artist, a self-proclaimed “psychic master,” and the king of bluffing his way through life—but an actual esper? Not even close. Yet, this man has somehow convinced Mob that he is the ultimate mentor, despite his psychic expertise being about as real as a three-dollar bill.

As Mob navigates middle school drama, friendship, and self-worth, he attracts the attention of actual psychics, shadowy organizations, and the occasional evil spirit with a grudge. Enter Claw, a group of megalomaniac espers who think world domination is a great idea. Mob, being the humble powerhouse he is, would rather just do his push-ups and impress his crush, Tsubomi. But when push comes to shove (or when he gets emotionally wrecked), Mob unleashes the kind of psychic carnage that makes you wonder if he’s secretly Goku’s long-lost cousin.

23ec3fd79a719d0f940cfad54532a9ed.jpg Source Along the way, he befriends the ghostly Dimple (a former evil spirit turned comic relief), joins the Body Improvement Club (because biceps > psychic powers), and slowly starts learning that emotions aren’t something to suppress—they’re part of what makes him human.

Mob Psycho 100 isn’t just an action-packed anime; it’s a beautifully animated emotional rollercoaster that juggles humor, heart, and absurdity with effortless charm. Whether it’s Reigen’s god-tier scamming skills, Mob’s occasional “Hulk Smash” moments, or the show’s ridiculously fluid animation, every episode leaves you either laughing, crying, or questioning your own life choices.

So, if you haven’t watched Mob Psycho 100 yet, do yourself a favor. Watch it. Experience peak animation, peak comedy, and peak existential crisis.

Like I said earlier,it was really good. And I hope you'll like it too. Thanks for reading...

  5. Review: Mob Psycho 100 | More than action, a journey of self-discovery and personal growth [ENG-ESP]@jessuses1381740d

Hello everyone! I hope you are feeling great today. Today I come to talk about an anime that sincerely touched my heart, it is one of those few series that I consider a masterpiece both for its story, animation, but above all for the powerful message it manages to convey, it is one of my favorite anime of all time, and you will see why.... That's right, I'll talk about Mob Psycho 100. This anime is one of those jewels that catches you and doesn't let go, and that takes you through a roller coaster of incredible emotions... The creator of this series is ONE, the same author behind One Punch Man, and he gives us a story that may seem simple, but it is full of depth and emotion. We will meet our protagonist, whom we are sure you will love... His name is Shigeo Kageyama, but he is known as Mob, he is a teenager who possesses extraordinary psychic abilities. However, unlike many other action anime protagonists, Mob does not seek recognition from the masses, nor absolute power... his main goal is to lead a normal life, and to conquer the girl he likes.
This premise is developed in such a human and authentic way that you quickly empathize with this character, and his inner struggles. As for the animation, it is one of the strongest points, although it may seem that it is a mediocre animation, without much love, this is not so! As you watch the episodes, you can tell that Bones, the animation studio, did a magnificent job. The important scenes have a brutal dynamism and energy... with a fluidity in the movements that will surely blow some people's minds. By the way, even though I said Shigeo was a pacifist, that doesn't mean this series doesn't have action and fights. And believe me, they're some of the best I've seen in almost 10 years of watching anime...
Every fight scene has incredible animation, the different combat sequences are a visual feast, with special effects, that bring out the psychic abilities of the characters in a very impressive way. But not only the fight scenes, the animation knows how to dance even in the most calm and emotional moments, allowing the viewers to get completely caught up in this story.

The character development in Mob Psycho 100 is also very cool. Mob, with his shy personality and his desire to be accepted, is a protagonist with whom you will surely identify, as I did... In the series we see how he faces his fears, and grows as a person, learns to accept all his powers and use them in a responsible way. In addition, secondary characters such as Reigen, Mob's teacher, or Ritsu, his younger brother, also have very good development arcs that enrich the plot.
On the one hand, Reigen, is a character that I feel brings a lot to the whole series, although he seems like a simple hustler who takes advantage of Mob, he is much more than that, he brings a lot to the life of this boy, he is a more complex and necessary figure than you might think at first. His relationship with Mob is one of the most interesting in the anime, as despite his somewhat questionable methods, he actually cares about Mob, and acts as a paternal figure to him. No doubt his evolution will make you laugh and reflect a lot.

What I like most about this anime, is its message... the series addresses issues such as self-acceptance, the importance of human relationships, and the great value of empathy. Mob despite having incredible powers, to the level of being considered one of the most powerful characters in anime, being compared to great strong characters like Goku, Naruto, Saitama.. etc, even with all this power, he does not feel invulnerable, rather, he is a very vulnerable character struggling to find his place in the world... His journey is one of self-discovery and inspiring personal growth, it is impossible not to be moved by his story. He realizes, that his powers do not define who he is, throughout the series we see how he struggles with the pressure of being "special" because of his abilities.
However, he is a person who places more importance on actions and how he can treat others. It conveys a message that we all have value, regardless of our abilities or accomplishments, something that certainly resonates with people. Another great aspect of this series is its humor, it's a fun comedy, which serves to balance the serious moments, you will surely end up laughing, it made me laugh a lot... This great mix of comedy and drama is handled brilliantly, which makes emotional moments much more impactful.

This series not only entertains you, but also makes you think. The animation, the characters, the music... makes it an experience. I was surprised how this anime has that ability to overcome expectations... in many action or fighting anime, it's common that conflicts are resolved through epic battles and that's it, that's it. It feels like simple fanservice... however, this anime takes a slightly different approach, although the fights are spectacular, the real resolution of the problems often comes through expressing the reasons for the acts, seeing that empathetic communication was very interesting to me.
Mob faces his intense issues not just with his powers and that's it, but he puts his heart into it.. A notable example of this, is Mob's relationship with his brother Ritsu, not to go into details, their arc could have easily been resolved in a fight, but the series goes for a more emotional, more human outcome. We see how what matters most is understanding, beyond mundane things, and how this communication is ideal and necessary to strengthen bonds. This undoubtedly distinguishes this anime from the thousands of others in this genre.

Another thing I liked is that there is no fear in showing serious issues, from bullying to emotional manipulation. These topics are approached realistically, they are not mere springboards for action, but have the right tempo to be explored. This makes these characters feel more real, and something that drives a lot of this, is the great structure that this story has.... Each arc is carefully designed to contribute a lot to the overall development of the plot. I don't feel that there are filler episodes, I feel that each episode contributes something significant, whether in terms of plot, development of themes. Also, the series does an excellent job of building its world....
Although the main focus is on the characters, the world they live in is just as fascinating, the supernatural elements are well integrated into the plot, and the series exploits very well all this theme related to the abilities that said characters possess. The seeds that are planted throughout the series blossom into a poignant and inspiring ending. The life lessons of this anime are very good...

I know that for many it may be silly, at the end of this series, it was difficult for me to look away from these characters... to say goodbye to them. Characters with whom I feel that I accompanied for so long, for years, after each season that was premiering... Mob taught me how to be a better friend, a better brother, a better man, a better person in general.... It is beautiful to see how it is always possible to find people who will love us and accept us as we are, because they know who we really are...
Mob taught me that which we all struggle with, that self that we carry inside, that we hate, but that we have to listen to, learn to accept it and thus be able to accept ourselves. Having powers or abilities, doesn't change not being able to say goodbye, feeling displaced, or having your heart broken... And he has discovered that by falling down and falling down, but always getting back up again.. I certainly cried, saying goodbye to this character, watching him go his own way, with a lot of sadness, but also with a smile of gratitude, for everything he made me feel for several years, I am very grateful to ONE also for this magnificent story! This story, this character, will continue to be part of me now, and in the future, it entered in me as those great productions that are certainly impossible to forget... It only remained for me to say goodbye, and thank you.
And well, after the sentimentalism... I hope you liked this review. And that you have been able to see the great affection I have for this series, and I hope that if you have not seen it, please give it a chance, I assure you that you will not regret it. My rating is a mighty 10/10. I think the reasons are pretty obvious. See you in the next reviews, take care! 👋🏻

Solo me quedó decir adiós, y gracias.

  6. Mob Psycho 100: A series that pleasantly surprised me [ENG/ESP]@ibet1010d

    Source

Hello again, have you ever seen a miniature of a series and said "it looks so ugly, I'm not going to watch it"? Well this same thing happened to me with this series, you see, some years ago, my brother was shown some anime (I won't say how, people) and among them was Mob Psycho 100, one day looking for something new to watch (since I had already watched the other series he was shown) I saw the thumbnail of this one and I said "oh no, its animation looks really ugly, surely it must not be worth watching, surely this series is really bad" and well, days went by and I said to myself "well, I'm bored, I'll watch this since the only thing I have to waste is time" and wow, I was really pleasantly surprised, it's one of those series that you almost never find out there, it has something that at least the ones I've seen don't have and that's why I come here today to tell you, don't judge a book by its cover, without more to add, let's begin...

Mob Psycho 100 is an anime series based on the manga by the same author of One Punch Man, ONE (that is, the author of One Punch Man is the same author of Mob Pycho 100, in case I didn't make myself clear). The series was produced by the studio Bones, known for other anime such as Fullmetal Alchemist, My Hero Academia and Bungou Stray Dogs. It was directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa, who also worked on Death Parade and Bleach. The series premiered in 2016 and has two seasons of 12 episodes each, plus a special and an OVA.

Mob is not alone in his journey, he is accompanied by his mentor, Arataka Reigen, a fake exorcist who takes advantage of Mob's powers to earn money and fame. Reigen is a very funny and charismatic character, who despite being a con man, has a good heart and gives Mob advice to grow as a person, I confess that at first I really disliked Reigen, but he is a great guy. He's also supported by his friends in the telepathy club, made up of Tome, a girl obsessed with UFOs and conspiracies; Musashi, a muscular and kind guy; and Onigawara, an ex-delinquent who wants to change his life (Mob is actually in the bodybuilding club, and everyone treats him very well, love it). In addition, Mob meets other interesting characters, such as Teruki Hanazawa, an arrogant psychic who becomes his rival and then his friend; Ritsu Kageyama, Mob's younger brother, who also has psychic powers but hides them out of jealousy (which if I talk more, this post will have spoilers) Dimple, an evil spirit who tries to possess Mob but ends up being his pet which was hilarious how that happened hahaha; and Shou Suzuki, the son of the leader of the Claw organization, who seeks world domination.

The series has a very original and dynamic animation style (ha, I say "original" now to avoid saying what I thought at first), with spectacular action scenes and a lot of humor. The series plays with the clichés of the shonen genre and subverts them with irony and sarcasm. The characters have simple but expressive designs, which contrast with the colorful and psychedelic visual effects of the psychic powers.

The series also explores themes such as self-esteem, friendship, family and morality. Mob Psycho 100 is a funny, exciting and touching series that will make you laugh and surprise you, and very pleasantly so, I say. I highly recommend it if you like stories of superpowers with a touch of comedy and drama and without the typical protaganist who is a super extroverted guy and always gets noticed. Tell me what you think about this series, if you already saw it or in case my post encouraged you to watch it, this is another one I blindly recommend you and, if you don't like it, never say I recommended it, remember you can watch it on Netflix or Crunchyroll, again, thank you very much for reading me and see you later in another post ❤️

  7. "Mob Psycho 100" is an Awe-Mazing Supernatural Comedy Anime <3@tegoshei1070d

I have always been a fan of Mob Psycho 100 ever since I watched the first season more than five years ago. It was so fun and entertaining to watch. I finished watching the third season a couple months back and I realized how the main character has developed and it was exceedingly satisfying.
Unfortunately though, the third season is likely to be its final season as well. It's because the manga has already been completed and every chapter had already been animated. *I personally would have loved to watch more of it, though.*

    image.png IMAGE SOURCE

The story is about a middle schooler named Kageyama ***"Mob"*** Shigeo. His nickname *Mob* means *background character* and the reason for this is that he lacks a sense of presence. He *tried* to be an average student who doesn't stand out. *(Emphasize on the word 'tried' there...)*

    image.png IMAGE SOURCE

In reality, Mob is a oozing with psychic prowess, but as he realized how dangerous his ability is, he decided to suppress it. He occasionally uses it to impress his childhood crush, but she somehow felt bored of Mob-kun's "tricks".

    image.png IMAGE SOURCE

Wanting to control his powers, Mob-kun sought the help of his *"master"* Arataka Reigen. He's a *self-proclaimed* psychic who in some way exploited Mob's power. *(But he isn't that bad at all... Trust me!)* They go on together exorcising spirits and helping people who were affected by the supernatural.
Along the way, Mob met people who slowly changed him... they either fought with him or against him especially in the first two seasons. Gradually, Mob's life has become very eventful as he's somehow able to manage his powers as well.
    [VIDEO SOURCE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRC3ul-UJ0A)
Above is the trailer of the third season. Mob, who was once pretty timid, has finally found the courage to confess his love for his childhood crush. However, as you've seen in the trailer, something crazy happened.
The final season is especially heartwarming and emotional despite it being tagged as supernatural comedy. I felt as if my son has found his purpose. *haha* Anyway, that's just the tip of the iceberg, so if you're curious... ***WATCH MOB PSYCHO 100!!!***
I don't know why but it's kind of underrated. This anime deserves more love from anime fans. The art style might be in the eccentric side, but the story is worth it! The animation effects are also really entertaining and fun to watch.
The author also made "One Punch Man" which is pretty popular compared to this... but to be honest, I never finished watching One Punch Man. *hahaha* Oh well, guess I'll also give it another try.
Thanks for reading and see you around!!!!

  8. One and only one | Mob Psycho 100 [En/Es]@adalathu1096d

    1.png

Last year finally saw the end of one of my favourite anime series: Mob Psycho 100. This anime, classified as shonen, consists of three seasons and a total of 37 episodes. In my opinion, it is one of the best shonen that has been released recently (forget Kimetsu). The story revolves around a high school boy named Shigeo Kageyama, also known as Mob, who appears to be just a normal, introverted boy, but actually possesses extraordinary psychic powers.

    20230707_162155.gif

Shigeo works in the office of a fake psychic named Reigen, whom he admires and considers his master. However, Mob has no idea that Reigen is a total fraud and possesses no real psychic powers. “Together” (i.e., just Mob), they engage in undoing curses and exorcising spirits in exchange for money, under the guise of Mob learning to control his powers. In addition, Reigen teaches Mob the importance of kindness and warns him never to use his powers to harm other human beings.

In the first two seasons, in addition to seeing him work with Reigen, we see Shigeo face "Claw", an organisation of psychics who consider themselves superior to other humans because of their extraordinary powers. These villains are out to rule the world, but Mob, with his characteristic kindness and his enormous powers, manages to defeat "Claw" and restore peace and tranquility to all.

    THIRD SEASON

    20230707_154133.gif

Now, let's talk about the third season. In this latest installment, the series takes a slightly different approach and is presented in the form of three mini-arcs that conclude the story. In the first arc, our hero faces a powerful threat: a spirit that has gained extreme power by manipulating the minds of the city's inhabitants, forcing them to join a cult in his honour. The second arc moves away from the shōnen theme and becomes a slice of life story. Here, our hero and his high school classmates begin to say goodbye to their school responsibilities and reflect on their choices for the future.

Finally, we have the third arc, which for me is the most interesting of the season and possibly of the entire series. Here we see Mob fully unleash his power as he faces his most dangerous and powerful enemy: himself. The power of our hero is overwhelming and impressive, and it's fascinating to witness how someone as gentle and reserved as Shigeo explodes to the point of almost destroying everything around him. This particular arc was so impactful that it made Mob my second favourite shōnen protagonist, just below Gon (from HiatusxHiatus).

    20230707_154610.gif

For me, part of the series' charm is seeing Shigeo mature, not only as a psychic, but also as a young man. In most shōnen, we see characters gradually develop their potential with the all-too-familiar “power ups”. However, Mob is incredibly powerful from the start, he doesn't need more power, so his evolution focuses on accepting his powers and emotions, as the latter are what allow him to control his abilities. Along the way, the lonely Mob builds a circle of friends and allies who will accompany and help him until the end.

The outcome of the series left me completely satisfied, as it is completely positive and even heart-warming. Without a doubt, it is an excellent shōnen that deserves much more recognition. Not only does it have an interesting story and exciting battles, but also the development of almost all the characters is truly fantastic.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you that it's hilarious, in fact, it's by the same author as One Punch Man, so you can imagine the kind of humour it has. It also has a great soundtrack, so it is definitely a 10/10. If you haven't seen it yet, don't hesitate a second longer, you'll love it!

One and only one | Mob Psycho 100

    2.png

  9. Mob Psycho 100 😍@seki11197d

When they say the ultimate slice of life shounen. It doesn't really get better than this. Mob Psycho 100 is a show that has created a place in it's fans hearts since the first chapter in 2012 and its first episode back in 2016 till it's last episode last year December 😔.

    Plot

Mob, a school boy with psychic powers, attempts to juggle school life and his job as an exorcist. However, Mob's emotions become more and more unstable as opposing groups of spirits, psychics and con-artists try to trick him.~Source

![EoEo5nvDHnUht8Gw4ryE7E9nS23HoHWmGygWc5fXjaGo3xSgiSRM3P8oRKvot13tG7P.webp](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/seki1/EoEjKvABBjsvH2ZREKrtzRoQZ8ywRcjHtb5BJHvFYqW9vgfgY4brv1LhNaMP1KHiKmz.webp) There are a lot of old shows that have made an impact and all of them seem to have the same things in common, yet I guess that's what makes them so good. Mob Psycho is kind of the same but with a few minor differences in it's choosing.

    Characters

Now the characters in this anime have to be in top ten of the most funniest characters in anime.. (and that's saying something considering the comedical b@stardz I get to watch all day😂😂😂). Forgetting the comedy well get to also see some serious sides to them and some emotional sides too, this gives the anime a more refined touch. Making the characters more human and easier to relate with.

    Animation

One thing I loved about this show is the fact that they kept the same animation style throughout the series. A rather olden yet still new drawing style which gives the anime it's signature look. It helps with comedical gimmicks and it looks good in fights too. All in all it was a delight to watch😍

    The Lesson's Taught

Unlike most shounen animes, Mob(the main character) didn't have a general nemesis, neither did he have a moving or great reason to fight, heck he hate fighting. Mob Psycho is one of those boring anime's that teach you more than you'd ever want to be taught. Taking it's time to look at different problems from different character's perspectives, making reasonable and realistic ways to fix them. It made me fall in love with the show even more.

    The Ending

To be honest I think there's nothing I loved more than the ending of this show. Relax I'm not going to spoil it😂😂, I just feel it should be highlighted. It was a great ending to a great show that really brought me to tears. It showed a sense of finality in the story and I was so happy and content with it and I'm sure other fans that may have watched it would agree too (right @adalathu?) It was just so beautiful 😍

    Overall Review

A beautiful show for the family, great for watching with kids, partners or just a private watch. I give it a fluffing 10 stars 🤩 P.S: If you're a crier, hold your tissues for the ending 😔🤕

  10. ✨✨Mob Psycho 100% [ENG-ESP]✨✨@takeru2551370d

Yesterday the third season of Mob Psycho 100 premiered and for those of you who know me, you know that this was one of the most influential anime I've ever seen. Possibly I have already talked about this anime here, or at the very least, I have mentioned it before, I am sure of that, but with a new season and three years of difference between its last season, for me it is necessary to talk about how incredible and magnificent is this anime full of characters that are a caress to the soul.

    image.png

First, I have to mention by way of warning that this will not be the only anime post you will see this month, as this season is the best season of anime seen in years, and highlighting this month is going to be difficult, but I'm sure Mob will give the world a surprise, why? Because it has done so in its previous seasons and there is no doubt that it will do so in this one as well.

Mob psycho is an anime from the same creator as One Punch Man, and when it came out a few years ago you saw the comments all over the place about "how this anime is a common thing for the creator of One Punch to make money while One Punch is on hiatus", but those thoughts couldn't be more wrong. While OPM focuses on continuity and a bigger, more heroic story, Mob Pyscho touches on more personal themes such as finding yourself, the need to have people who love you and how hate can take over; however, it also shows us that kindness is contagious and not only makes you grow, but the people around you.

    image.png

Starting with a "cliché" story and characters, Mob takes a turn in the first chapters and shows us that this is just the tip of the iceberg it has to offer, making a stereotypical character design that ends up being something completely different from what we are used to in anime, showing us strong characters that instead of being bullies are people who want to see their friends succeed and would even give their lives for the people they love. Also, we are given a secondary character that sometimes functions as a protagonist who, unlike most in this anime, is malicious but incredibly charismatic.

    image.png

Finally, the drawing most of the time feels poorly done and even like a parody, but it combines perfectly with the animation style and direction, which, when they come together at their best to make something incredible, ends up being one of the most enjoyable and fluid anime that has been in the last decade, leaving us with scenes that are a hallmark and mark of quality in the anime industry.

  19. MOB PSYCHO 100%: Lo que dice mi rarocosometro/ what my meter says of the weird [ESP-ENG]@melochacalie1761d

Hello illustrious young people, with the news that there is no news, so to get rid of the boring, we are going to talk about Mob Psycho 100%

    MOB PSYCHO 100% ( Bones 2016/2019)

    RECAPITULEMOS/LET'S RECAP…

Kagueyama Shigueo, the little Mob, a scrawny little boy from the eighth grade, but who hides great psychic abilities. Unable to control them at a tender age, he becomes fearful of himself, until he meets the man who will give him a new light, the con artist Arataka Reigen, who together with Mob, will bring the best exorcisms service at low prices.

    MOB PSYCHO 100% ( Bones 2016/2019)

    EN MI OPINIÓN/IN MY OPINION…

Pair an introverted teen with a scammer and you've got an offbeat series. In Mob psycho we meet the day-to-day life of Mob, an introverted teenager very distressed by his inability to keep a spoon in its original shape every time he eats, and his search for a place to fit in with his strangeness, is a base Simple that has no further development in the two-season anime, it has battle arcs as well as chapters to refresh the experience, since, although it is a good series that enters the field of the paranormal, this theme (in my humble opinion づ ̄ 3 ̄) づ), it requires certain parameters of humor or it becomes heavy, but in Mob psycho 100%, they find the balance and I will explain why.

    MOB PSYCHO 100% ( Bones 2016/2019)

The animation style that a comedy anime would have, mixed with the speed and fluid movement that you find in good action series, as well as including a dark color palette with the high contrast of very bright and fluorescent colors that create an explosion of light and effects, make the animation of Mob psycho 100% overflow creativity and explosive, of course, seeing it in a positive way, seeing it in a negative way, it is not a pleasant animation to see, since it is not very stylized, the strokes are thick and You could even say that it is somewhat careless, but being that way, it achieves a lot of expressiveness on the part of each part of the series, it is a style that is more abstract, but that although I love it, it may not be for all tastes .

    MOB PSYCHO 100% ( Bones 2016/2019)

On the side of the soundtrack, we can see that they have varied and very well produced songs, some beautiful and others epic, so you find the sound experience extremely pleasant.

    MOB PSYCHO 100% ( Bones 2016/2019)

In a matter of history, as I already mentioned, Mob does not have a 10 in innovation, but in the use of its resources, you see, in most anime that I have seen where psychological powers are used, they are usually mystery anime , but not of good mystery anime, but of those that become difficult to maintain and quickly turn into battle anime, but Mob fully enters the shonen genre, he does not cut himself on his dark theme or blood, taking its resources to a very high level, but the best in my opinion are its charismatic characters, characters that cover the spaces in the plot, resentment, laughter and tears, all in this anime.

    MOB PSYCHO 100% ( Bones 2016/2019)

    TERMINANDO/ENDING…

Mob Psycho 100% is far from being the prettiest anime I've ever seen, but it is very good within its genre, and it is all due to its unique peculiarities, which make it one of those action anime that you quickly devour.

    MOB PSYCHO 100% ( Bones 2016/2019)

Well my jackals, so far with today's recommendation, with an anime that I think you will like if you manage to overcome that barrier of detailed animation, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, I say goodbye, but not without first wishing you that very good and have a better time.

  20. Psycho-Pass 3 - A Set up for Psycho-Pass 4@dlstudios2373d

    image.png

Back when I wasn't watching nearly as much anime, and only checking out a show every so often, Psycho-Pass was a show that stood out when I finally watched it and I loved it. Each of the first two seasons contained it's own self-standing story, though you still want to watch them to get the full context. Each story expands on the nature of the Sybil System that runs Japan, A Persons Psycho-Pass, a numerical measurement of the likelihood they will commit a crime, and strong themes of Privacy Vs. Safety and many other things relevant to that.

To start, the first two seasons are fantastic and you should watch them, though I don't have a way to explain the pro's and con's of Season 3 without spoiling them, so going forward this review will be written under the assumption you have seen the first two seasons of the show.

Following two new investigators, Arata and Kei, we find out that investigator Akane of the first two seasons has been imprisoned and awaiting the judgment of the Sybil System for a currently unspecified crime. This was the most interesting thing about the show at first due to Akane being the only person who knows the secret of Sybil, and Sybil having reasons to leave Akane as an active investigator despite that. The problem is after about seven hours of anime since the episodes are 45 minutes long instead of the normal 22-25 you'd expect a normal episode to be, we still don't know why she's awaiting judgment.

    image.png

That starts to set up the biggest issues I have with this season, and that comes shows end I feel like it was nothing but a set up for the next season. The main antagonist, Bifrost, is interesting. The 'Congressmen' seem to be playing a game where they all try to outplay each other by manipulating events in Japan, whoever manages to win gains more shares through the 'Round Robin' game. Lose all the shares you are eliminated, though while the game goes on they cannot leave the table and have to rely on their 'Enforcers' to carry out their plan. Somehow they can operate outside the eyes of Sybil, presumably because Bifost is really an AI, and Sybil is a collection of brains and not a true AI. The justification of none of their hues clouding because they don't have a direct hand in the events is a bit of a stretch all things considered, but the core of this is more Bifrost and Round Robin itself rather than the Congressmen, so I can let that slide.

The amount of time given to have to set everything up and establish their characters is a bit frustrating, specifically because other seasons have done a better job of doing that with less time, all while managing to tell a complete story. It's not until you get an idea of what Bifrost is that you even get a feeling that this is Psycho-Pass, because prior to the fifth episode they show normal themes don't even seem to be at play, it just feels like an anime about a police investigation.

That said, once it gets going later on it does become an interesting story with all the same themes as before, with some great mysterious and more insight into the nature of Sybil and the society it runs. I wish it didn't take so long to establish, but the tone and atmosphere end up being just as good as they have always been.

    image.png

Onto the characters, and this is something that starts to make the show enjoyable, even with the early episodes feeling slow. Our two new detectives have a bit of a hidden motive of discovering why those in their families died, and it's clear there is some connection to Bifrost. Their personalities are a bit at odds, and Sybil recommended they not be partners, but their particular connections allow them to work together despite that. Arata has a powerful ability to read other people, though is quite reckless and will readily put himself at risk, whereas Kei is a lot more strict and thorough. A bit of a clique pairing, but it works well. It's also nice to see one of Season 2's enforcers returning as part of their team, as well as see expanded rolls of some previous characters. The relationships between the enforcers and investigators alter and grows very organically and naturally as the show progresses, and by the end of the season, you really do have a wonderful and strong cast.

Where I get a bit disconnected is Arata himself and his 'Mental Tracing'. The show tries to say it's a skill anyone can develop, but essentially it borders on voodoo. He can put himself in the shoes of another person, and the more he knows about them the more he can follow what it is they did or would do. The thing is he is sometimes able to know what other people may have said to them as well, which pushes this past the bounds of what the show has established thus far, and can break your suspension of disbelief a bit as a result.

Something like that happened with seasons two antagonists, but at the same time, it at least gave a reason why Sybil wasn't able to follow him. Here it's not something that even has anything to do with Sybil, it's just some odd power they gave him to explain why these two seem to be the only ones able to track down anything related to Bifrost.

    image.png

Season three is still a good show, but how good it is will depend entirely on season four. If the build-up is worth it, the season is fantastic. If the follow up can't live up to the build, the season feels like a waste. And considering it's not a full story, it's hard to recommend this until we have a season four to see.

Also, don't forget I am running a Fan Art contest with 35 Steem in prizes, the theme being Fan Art of any games that made my Top Ten of the Year. Assuming I get entries, I plan to do one focused on my Games of the Decade and anime of the year as well, but that won't be for some time. So if you are a Steem Artist, feel free to check out the contest and submit an entry! I'll include a link for both the Steemit and Steempeak pages depending on which front end you prefer.

  21. Mob Psycho 100: The Spirits and Such Consultation Office's First Company Outing ~A Healing Trip that Warms the Heart@dlstudios2463d

    image.png

This review will not be as long as the title would suggest.

Mob Psycho 100 is seeing the release of some OVA's, this first one taking place after the end of the second season. That being said, this is the length of a normal episode so this review is essentially me trying my hand at reviewing a single episode rather than a full show, so let's see how this goes! Spoilers if you haven't finished season two of Mob Psycho.

Reigen decides he is going to take a case of a haunting at a hot spring, guests are saying they are being taken to another world while there and leaving exhausted. All of your main characters are here, in addition to Reigen's newest assistant, Serizawa. At this point, it should be noted that only three of these characters are actually important to this episode: Reigen, Serizawa, and Mob. The rest of them kind of feel like a dead weight that doesn't really need to be there. It seems like they just felt obligated to make it a big group activity for the OVA, but so little time is given to anyone else it feels a bit pointless.

And to be honest, Mob is really only their as the cleanup for the episodes foes, the main story revolves around Reigen getting trapped in this alternate world and trying to find his way out. As far as psychic enemies are concerned, this actually isn't that hard for atypical psychic to detect. Anyone familiar with the show knows Reigen isn't actually psychic, but his assistant who is trapped with him is socially inept and doesn't want to step on his bosses toes and upset him.

No one on the outside is aware of why Reigen is sleeping so much, and the episode basically acts as a pure comedy as you watch Reigen slowly start to lose his mind attempting to escape the world he is trapped in and Serizawa just comes and goes as he pleases. I'm kind of glad this is only a twenty-minute OVA, because any longer the joke would probably get old after a while.

The show cuts back and forth between Mob and friends in reality and back to Reigen struggling to realize the secret of this world and escape, while Serizawa comes and goes looking perfectly normal and reasonable. This, of course, leads Reigen to thinking Serizawa is the one who has gone crazy.

This is honestly just a solid filler episode of Mob Psycho. You don't learn anything about characters you didn't already know, but the jokes are there and the show gets a laugh throughout it's run. If you come across it definitely watch it, though it's only really worth watching as a quick laugh, and isn't likely something you are ever going to come back to.

Second Season of ONE's Mob Psycho 100. Eighth-grader Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama has tapped into his inner wellspring of psychic prowess at a young age. But the power quickly proves to be a liability when he realizes the potential danger in his skills. Choosing to suppress his power, Mob's only present use for his ability is to impress his longtime crush, Tsubomi, who soon grows bored of the same tricks.

In order to effectuate control on his skills, Mob enlists himself under the wing of Arataka Reigen, a con artist claiming to be a psychic, who exploits Mob's powers for pocket change. Now, exorcising evil spirits on command has become a part of Mob's daily, monotonous life. However, the psychic energy he exerts is barely the tip of the iceberg; if his vast potential and unrestrained emotions run berserk, a cataclysmic event that would render him completely unrecognizable will be triggered. The progression toward Mob's explosion is rising and attempting to stop it is futile.

  28. Mob Psycho Season 1 - Catching Up Before the New Season Begins.@dlstudios2722d

With Mob Psycho Season 2 on its way, I figured I'd finally sit down and watch the first season to see if the next one would be worth my time. Like most people, it caught my eye because it came from the same mind behind One Punch Man, a show I absolutely loved. It was one of two shows that got me back into watching Anime again, at least on a more regular basis.

I also remember a lot of comparisons to One Punch Man when I first heard of Mob Psycho, though other then a similar art style I don't know if that's a very apt comparison. Yes, both Saitama of One Punch and Mob are characters with powers far beyond those around them, but they are handled in vastly different ways. Saitama has become bored and jaded with the world around him, whereas Mob tries to keep his powers in line and not use them, realizing how weak he is without them.

The driving force of the show really is that aspect of Mob. The show keeps a record of Mob's emotions in the form of a percent gauge that occasionally pops up to show how close his emotions are to overflowing. When it reaches 100%, he snaps and loses control of his powers, and as a result, he comes across as fairly emotionless most of the time since he's always tried to keep that from happening. Where things can get interesting is depending on what emotions go overboard, the 'explosion' as the show calls it can vary. I don't want to describe in detail what happens, but the way this show handles it at the finale is fantastic.

The people surrounding Mob are quite interesting and do a lot to help flesh out the kind of person Mob is. There is the Telepathy Club, a school reporter who wishes to do a report on Mob, the Body Enhancement Club Mob joins, and the con-artist Mob goes to too try to learn how to use his powers all do so much to expand on the mindset of Mob. That's not to say they don't get their chances to shine and grow as characters on their own, but the show knows that Mob is the lead and to keep the focus of everything going on around him.

What really helps that along is how much you start too like Mob and care about his struggles. While he is very subdued most of the time and not very emotive, there are always traces of emotions in everything he does, and that does a great job at showing how much he struggles with it. And considering you are supposed to sympathize with him, it's good the show doesn't paint him as being entirely invulnerable like with Saitama in One Punch Man. True, this is in large part because of how much he restrains himself, but it creates a vulnerability to the character all the same.

That said there are a couple of issues that come up with the shows writing by the end of season one. The first being the actual plot is a bit on the weak side, things just kind of happen. While the focus is on Mob's character development, as it should be, it would be nice to have a bit of a stronger narrative outside of that so the show doesn't just hinge on caring about Mob, which some people aren't going to. The second being that outside of the five characters, the side cast feels really weak. True, they do a lot to help flesh out Mob, but they themselves tend to be very uninteresting. This may be improved upon come season 2, but the side characters like the Telepathy Club and Reporter leave a bit to be desired. That, I admit, is just a bit of a nitpick. They aren't really that important, so in the end, it doesn't matter all that much, but if they did a bit more it would help the world itself feel a bit more real and engaging.

The last major thing to talk about is the animation, and I do want to praise how fantastic the fights look. They are stylish and exciting, easy to follow, and many of them are full of great moments and funny gags. There really is nothing but praise I have for the fighting in this show. Everything else, however, can feel a bit lifeless at times. It's really hard to put my finger on exactly what it is, but the characters kind of look... papery? I don't know if that's the right word. It's not like flat paper being forced to move, it's more like everything is just kind of faded and bland. So most of the episode will look a bit dull, but then it ramps it up for the fights. That was probably the biggest problem I have with the show right there.

Overall Mob Psycho is a lot of fun to watch and comes with a good amount of genuinely tense moments despite the overwhelming power at Mobs disposal due to Mob's own nature and faults. The show has some great themes of Psychic Powers not being the be-all end-all, while also not underplaying their obvious use and potential. My advice is don't go into this expecting more One Punch Man, because the end product really is a different experience. I look forward to what Season 2 has to offer.

  30. Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 Episode 3 English Subbed@kissanime2731d

Watch Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 Episode 3 English Subbed streaming

  34. Shigeo Kageyama Time Lapse Drawing from Mob Psycho 100 | Art by Clark@artbyclark2888d

Today I'm uploading a simple drawing I did of Shigeo From Mob Psycho 100. This isn't one of my favorite pieces because I'm not to happy with the way the finished product turned out. I've been taking screenshots from the anime episodes though, getting some ideas on what to draw next from this show.

Mob Psycho 100 is one of my top five favorite anime. It was animated by Japanese studio, BONES. They also animated One Punch Man. I'm in love with the fight scenes in Mob Psycho. They are truly epic and unique. I highly recommend this anime to anyone that hasn't seen it before.

    Here's a link to the anime: http://www.crunchyroll.com/mob-psycho-100

Thank you for checking out my drawing, I really appreciate it. Take care!
