Hello everyone in the movies community. I was just watching this movie today, it's a +16 recommendation. It's available on HBOMAX and it came out in my recommendations.
I'm not sure why this option would appear in my recommendations but I said why not?

Esta película está inspirada en una novela de Francine Rivers trata sobre la religión aunque no parece serlo... Para enfocarnos en esta película viajamos a la California de 1850. Todo empieza con una madre y su pequeña hija de unos 8 años, para ponernos en contexto era la primera vez que está niña conocería a su padre, porque su madre era la amante de este hombre, pero ella vivía bien porque este hombre le proveía todo para ella, un día que va de visita, ella le presenta a su hija, y este le dice que él le había dicho que se hiciera cargo de eso, que ella no debería existir...

Después de eso todo se viene cuesta abajo porque el hombre decide quitarle su apoyo a la madre, dejándolas a ambas en la calle, ya que todo le pertenecía a él... En vista de esta situación la mujer decide vender algunas joyas que tenía para poder sostener a su hija, lamentablemente las joyas no valen mucho y un hombre le ofrece a la mujer pagarle por otros servicios.... Y su madre desde entonces vende su cuerpo pero solamente es por pocos meses porque ella enferma, sin embargo ellas todas las noches rezaban y pedían a Dios, sin embargo su madre murió al poco tiempo, y hay una escena donde muestran que ella decide enojarse y tirar un crucifijo a un lago, en forma de protesta para decir que ella no creía más en Dios.

Desde aquí todo se vuelve peor, porque uno de los hombres que dejaban que su madre trabajara en ese oficio, decidió tomar a la niña y venderla a la prostitución, deciden llamarla Angel desde ese momento, la niña crece en ese mundo y se convierte en una mujer muy bella, pero aún así seguía en la prostitución y un día conoce a michael, un hombre que quiere ofrecerle su amor.
At the beginning with the film I felt anger and I felt angry with the main character, I didn't come to love her but I came to understand from everything that had happened that this was the only thing she knew how to do. This movie is not for all family members
Al principio con la película sentí rabia y me sentí enojada con el personaje principal, no llegué a amarla pero llegué a entender por todo lo que había pasado que era la único que sabía hacer. Esta película no es para todos los miembros de la familia
