Hello friends, good vibes to all. > Hola amigos, buenas vibras para todos. Source! Slam Dunk was revolutionary in its time, a sports anime that managed to compete with Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya, Pokémon, Sailor Moon, and Captain Tsubasa. It was a sports anime, yes, but about soccer, and that's something that will always be impressive to me. Perhaps these kinds of stories weren't as common back then as they are now, b…More

# ....English Version.... Slam Dunk... A Sports Anime. Since I was very young I have liked sports; in fact, I tried different disciplines to determine where I performed better. I practiced baseball, karate, soccer, I like boxing, but just watching it hehehe; I also played a lot of basketball and it was there where I realized that my skills were acceptable. I played basketball for many years, both in high school and…More

Created by Takehiko Inoue and aired from 1993 to 1996, this classic didn’t just tell a sports story—it redefined how character and sport could blend into something unforgettable. Watching *Slam Dunk* is like stepping into a time when every rebound was personal, e…More

That's why I want to talk to you about Hanamichi Sakuragi, in my opinion the best character ever written in a sports anime who embodies the highest values anyone could aspire to in order to change their l…More

Friday's entry was supposed to be about something else, because about a court judgment in one quite high-profile case in Poland, but Karol surprised me with very good information that fits into the beautiful summer weather. You know a title like "Slam Dunk"? If you're not an anime fan, if you're a kid under the age of 18, then most likely not. I don't remember what the situation looked like when I was an 18-year-old…More
I'm a self-proclaimed sports anime freak and I have actually watched tons of anime from that genre. Of course, there are still some series that I haven't watched, but there are also series that I have watched and re-watched multiple times. I love sports anime because they're super exciting to watch and I get to learn about the sport the characters are playing. I believe it all started with Slam Dunk. IMAGE SOURCE Sl…More
